What If Romances!

Summary:

A what if, if you will, about the idea of different characters in Pretty Cure being together than normal. Both the normal most people think of and what I think of and going in a different direction! We have cute Yuri romances most wouldn't dream of! Odd ball ships occurring due to changes in the story! Or maybe just romances working out differently then how they did in cannon. The sky is the limit and today we reach above the clouds!

So...um yeah this is a nice way to start November. Yeah this is one of those times as it happened again. I write down an idea and then think of it and decide screw it I wanna write it dammit, screw sleep! And thus I have! As the title and summary should show this is not a one and done. I really want this to be a continual series I can produce ever now and then when the idea of a what if weird romance hits me. Note that while this is not a part of my Redemptive Universe given the vastly different parings it might include some of the characters I work with in these different shipping situations. As such I suggest to read any storyline I list at the start of these notes before reading.

Thankfully today is not that much of departure in terms of cannon as it's connected to a cannon event I think could be fun to explore the after effects of. And given it's Yes 5 related it's pretty easy to tell what it is lol. ! I shall explain more as we get to the end notes but for now sit right back as I give you the first of this series! Chapter 1: An Apology turned into a Confession!

Summary:

During the events of all the shipping moments in episode 26 of Yes 5, Rin and Urara start out by spending time together as Rin is rather sad about how she acted to Urara during the events of their fight. But Urara doesn’t seem to mind as the two spend time on the island getting to know each other before Rin says something Urara isn’t expecting and Rin herself wasn’t sure she felt till now. Something that makes the Idol feel a different kinda emotion to her sporty friend.

It was afternoon on a Friday at Cinq Lumièresl. Tons of students left happy to get on with their weekend. Especially the younger students who delighted in the bell even if they were out later than the older students. Namely one bright blonde haired girl happily left school with a sense of joy. Today Kasugano Urara was free of any work based assignments with her job and could just unwind at the start of the weekend with her very best friends.

Especially now since the events of last week were still lingering in the minds of her and the others. The fighting, the capturing, the scared nightmare of their visions while under the masks. All of which kept Urara up these last few nights. I mean it’s not every day you see a vision of yourself creepily exit the mirror and give yourself a lecture on your friends vs your job.

But nightmares aside, she and the others did it! They won against this nightmare and came out stronger than ever. Even if she didn’t fully comprehend what it was they did to stop Grinma. It seemed to connect to Milk and their friendship somehow but what was it?

However, as the blonde thought of this she noticed a familiar sight at the front of school. Her red like orange hair is short yet shining in the afternoon glow of the sun. It was a sight Urara smiled at as she moved closer. “Rin San!” Urara called as she ran up to her happily as Rin looked oddly nervous and shocked before standing straight and smiling. “Oh uhh hey Urara.” Rin says as Urara smiles. “Are you waiting for Nozomi San and the others?” Urara questions as she looks around as Rin shakes her head and giggles nervously.

“Oh well um no. I let them go off because I wanted to walk with you..alone.” Rin says as Urara looks confused before nodding. “Oh okay. Is everything okay?” Urara questions as Rin blushed. “Oh uh yeah I just wanted to talk to you about something. Without Nozomi or Karen saying anything about it.” Rin says as Urara nods curiously. “Okay. Then let’s go.” Urara says as Rin nods awkwardly as the two start down the road to Nats House.

Urara as they walked though was rather suspicious of Rin. She didn’t know fully everything about the girl given they only became friends a few months ago but she did know one thing. As an aspiring actress and idol, she took classes on body language a lot. To show on screen the emotions she let out with her own voice and let that be as effective if not more.

And Rin well she was quite clearly nervous, uncomfortable, and rather bashful. Which were three words Urara never would describe Rin as. In her short time with her the bright red haired girl was courageous, confident and passionate. In her sports she excelled so much so her classmates talked about her as if she was an angel to any team in need of a boost in skill. And Urara had seen it in action many times. Yet she also knew Rin as the one who often brought her and Nozomi back to earth when they got a bit too rambunctious. As such seeing Rin like this was odd.

Did she switch bodies with Komachi or something? No, Urara thought as she shook her head. She’s just thinking of that new tv show script she got for playing a body swapped student in the background with only a few lines in an episode about a whole school getting caught up in it. It couldn’t happen in real life..well given she had seen a talking squirrel, tanuki, and rabbit as well as fought a bee man, spider lady, toad man and recently a mantis the size of a house..a body swap isn’t so unreasonable. So Urara looked to Rin as Rin seemed to look around them.

They were in a rather unpopulated area of the city and in a small street at that so she breathed in and looked to Urara as she was taken aback by her looking at her. “Umm Urara.” Rin says as Urara looks at her. “Yes Rin San?” She questions. “I um..I just wanted to say I’m sorry.” Rin says as Urara looks at her and stops. “Sorry? For what?” Urara says as Rin looks a bit shocked.

“Oh because of the fight we had the other day. Before we got attacked. About Nozomi and us being friends and me getting mad at you. And saying..you didn’t have any other friends.” Rin says as Urara looks to her and internally she feels sorrow in her heart.

That day was painful for everyone. It was a mood that wouldn’t let up in spite of a whole day going by. And Rin’s fight with her was the part that stunned her the most. She was worried about Nozomi and yet her best friend who she knew Nozomi loved like a sister both ignored Urara’s questions and acted like she wanted nothing to do with her. As the only one who outright defended Nozomi it felt like a blow to a girl she loved so dearly. Nozomi was basically her big sister..someone who brought her out of her self isolation and taught her friendship and work could coexist.

And she was delighted and forever grateful for that. So when Rin said she didn’t have any other friends besides Nozomi it stung her worse than any punch, kick or blast that a Kawina could throw at her. Especially coming from Rin who she looked up to for how cool, level headed and beautiful of a person she was! Her second ever friend behind Nozomi and here she was insulting the one she cared about and her own friendships. It hurt her..even now. Yet seeing the hurt look on Rin’s face saying sorry Urara frowned.

“Rin San..I..I don’t think you have to apologize. I know stuff was going on in your mind like my own. Besides we beat Nightmare so everything is good now.” Urara says as Rin frowns. “Are you sure? I just..I hurt you and Nozomi that day. I wasn’t there for her and yet you were. Showing why you deserve to be her friend far more than me and why..you're so kind. Yet I threw that in your face like it was a bad thing.” Rin says with tears beginning to build up in her eyes.

“Rin I..I can’t speak for Nozomi San but I know she loves you. Just like I do. Because you're such a warm and loving person. So just cause you're mean once doesn’t mean you have to feel bad.” Urara says reassuringly as Rin nods. “I..okay thank you Urara. But..that’s..not all I wanted to say to you.” Rin says as she looks down at the fidgets with her bag. “Why what’s wrong?” Urara questions as Rin looks at her blushing. “Ahhh why did Nozomi tell me to admit this now..” Rin says annoyed as she looks down. Urara gave her a questioning look. “Nozomi San? What did she want you to tell me?” Urara questions as Rin looks at her blushing. “Ahh shoot I said that out loud..um..alright I will tell you but promise not to be mad.” Rin says as Urara looks confused but sees the worried look on Rin’s face she nods.

“Okay tell me. I promise I won’t be mad.” Urara says as she thinks nothing Rin says could make her mad. “Well the truth is..I..I like you.” Rin says as Urara almost falls over by how unsurprising that comment was. “Huh? That’s what you wanted to say? Why would I be mad at that? I like you too, Rin San.” Urara says as Rin blushed. “Gahh this is why I told Nozomi I’d be bad at this..no Urara I lo..lo..love you okay! Like romantically!” Rin says as Urara pauses as the world seems to freeze on her.

Love was a word she heard a lot. From her fans she would see during concerts. To her father and grandfather as well as her manager when they’d tell her how much they loved hearing her sing and smile. To even..her mom. Who she’d remember in her deepest dreams saying it over and over. But hearing a friend say it was shocking and caused her heart beat to increase. “You love me?” Urara questions as Rin nods. “Yeah..I do..but you don’t have to if you don’t feel that way..I know I’m weird to have admitted it out of nowhere and all.” Rin says as she soon tries to walk away blushing madly as Urara quickly grabs her hand and stops her. “Wait please Rin San..can you explain?” She questions as Rin looks her in the eyes and sighs.

“I guess I can..I mean I only recently realized how I felt after that whole nightmare thing. I was feeling mad at myself for how I treated Nozomi and you. But my feelings for you..they felt different. The way I felt it..hurt more somehow. Or more painful especially when I remember your face and how you reacted after what I said. So I did some soul searching and I..realized my feelings for you are more than just friendly. Or even like a sister way like with me and Nozomi. I liked everything about you from how cute you are, to how funny you are, to how you make the room light up like Nozomi but even more so for how dedicated you are to your job. It’s inspiring really especially since I don’t know if being an athlete is in my future so seeing you know what you want. Especially since you work so hard and despite all you suffered you came out stronger! All these reasons and probably more I suck at bringing up are why I love you, Urara.” Rin says as tears start to fill her eyes.

“But if you..don’t like me that way that’s fine. I’m used to rejection so I don’t think this will be any different. Besides, we can still be friends! If you want that is..” Rin says before she is suddenly grabbed into a hug as Urara wraps her arms around Rin and barriers her face near her neck. “U..Urara..” Rin says, shocked and blushing from the contact as Urara looks up to her.

“Rin that was..I’m speechless. Your confession was so sweet! It was so nice! And it made me happy.” Urara says as Rin looks at her. “So do you..love me too?” Rin says hopeful as Urara smiles and looks to Rin as she holds her hands after breaking the hug. “I don’t really know but..my heart has never beat this fast from someone before. I have never been in love but if this is then I’ll let you know.” Urara says as Rin lets the tears fall from her eyes but smiles.

“Thank you Urara..” Rin says as Urara smiles. “But if you want to test us..maybe being more than friends..we could go on a date.” Urara says as Rin blushes madly. “A date?” Rin questions as Urara nods. “Yep! Papa told me that if I think I like someone I should go on a date to see if we really do like each other or if I’m just being caught up in the heat of the moment. So..maybe we can do that if you’d want?” Urara says as Rin smiles. “I’d love that..although where would you wanna go?” Rin questions as Urara hums in thought.

“Maybe that new area of the amusement park! That place seems fun and might be romantic.” Urara says as Rin nods. “Sounds nice to me although you might not be able to get on the rides with me given you're a bit shorter than me.” Rin says jokingly as she pays Urara on the head as the blonde blushes at the contact and yet pouts at what she said. “Hey! I’m not that short!” Urara says as Rin smiles.

“Don’t worry, I think it’s a part of you that’s cute.” Rin says honestly as Urara blushes. “I don’t know how I feel about you saying that but I guess fair enough. Although you mentioned Nozomi San, told you to confess. Does she know?” Urara questions as Rin nods. “Yeah I kinda told her my feelings and due to her thing with Coco, she figured it meant I liked you. So she told me to take my shot. A bit silly she said that while not confessing to Coco but hey it got us here.” Rin says as Urara smiles. “I see. Well then should we tell Nozomi and the others about it?” Urara questions as Rin frowns.

“I mean we don’t have to..I mean you said you weren’t sure about loving me like that till we go on that date right?” Rin says as Urara smiles. “Yeah but you still confessed so why not let everyone else know.” Urara says with a smile as Rin sighs. “Alright, I can’t say no to that smile.” Rin says with a blush as Urara giggled as she grabbed Rin’s hand. “Alright then let’s go!” Urara says as Rin blushes. “Ahh Urara hey!” Rin yells as the girl giggles.

Yes, today is an odd Friday indeed but one I’m sure Rin and Urara won’t soon forget. Because no matter what way their love for each other shifts, they will always care for one another. And that’s something that has been reaffirmed today especially.

And done! So then let me explain my rationale behind this fic! It's actually from reading last week a ton of older Yes 5 stories. I do admit I have basically combed through a good amount of work in the past for this franchise for the goodness of fics. And one thing that inspired me to finally do this was the yes 5 fics that would be simple one shots with cute confessions or wholesome Yuri content. I mean one of the earliest Yes 5 fics is literally about Nozomi x Komachi! Who would have though of that? And that is why I decided to go with a cute idea I had in vain of them.

Namely for a confession spurred on by a cannon event of the show! Especially since while it's arguable to say Komachi and Karen had a stronger confession idea (I mean they are best friends and this fight did hurt then strengthen their relationship) but when rewatching this episode a few months ago I was actually kinda shocked how good Urara and Rin's fight was.

Like the entire episode it felt realistic and captured both characters perfectly and how emotional they can get. So why not use that to make a ship happen! Especially given only in Yes 5 they kinda didn't have anyone since Nozomi has Coco, Komachi has Nuts, and Karen has Milk (Although that happened much later) but Urara and Rin did not have anyone. So I am surprised it wasn't a popular crack ship from back then. So why not focus on it since it could be cute! And I get to make Rin a real blushing mess again which you all know I love doing.

But since this is a Yes 5 related story after Friends in Need I should let you all know I am working on the next fic in my Redemptive Verse. It is going to be one I try to finish this month and then release during December in batches like Christmas Gifts! So that's why you haven't seen it yet. But I am hard at work with it and laughing how Otona is just making my job way too easy and somehow perfectly connecting to my ideas for the fic. Although it will take a different turn I should make it clear.

With that said I hope you enjoyed this first chapter of me doing something new! I really look forward to writing about some of these other weird ships I have thought up for this show with this collection so I hope you look forward to more and have a fantastic day!

Chapter 2: A Trinity Suite of Harmony

Summary:

Ellen is saddened when she learns that Hibiki and Kanade have gotten together. Namely due to the girl's infatuation with the two of them. Kanade for her kind nature and Hibiki for her courageous attitude in battle. As such hearing the two were now a couple made the girl saddened, until one day the happy couple approaches her with a confession that shocks her and yet will make her dream come true.

So then..I was not expecting to be back so soon with this but ehh I have a few easy ideas so why not try to make them work while I work on my other fic during the day. Besides it's surpassingly good to write before bed. It really brings out the creativity but also makes me tired enough to fall asleep! Anyway more on the reasons why for this couple after the story but for now just enjoy the fic!

“Ahh, welcome back.” An older voice spoke as a purple haired girl walked into the kitchen. “Hello Otokichi San. Do you need any help with dinner?” She asks as the man smiles. “Hmm not at all. I have it already prepared so all I have to do is stick it into the oven. It shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes to get cooked. So I’ll call you once I’m done. It’s just us tonight so I made less than normal.” Otokichi says as Ellen nods.

“Right..I often forget the pri..Ako likes to eat a lot.” She says catching her tongue on the p word her friend hated to be called by as the man simply chuckled. “She is a growing girl. But so are you Ellen. By the way, how did your meet up with the girls go? You seem tired.” He says with both understanding and concern as Ellen sighs.

“It went well. Until, Hummy and Hibiki ate Kanade’s cupcakes before she was off so she ran around the store after them while I tried to calm them down. Like normal.” The purple haired girl says as the older man smiles. “That’s sad they still fight after all they have been through but I’m glad they have you as a person to break them up.” Otokichi says as Ellen nods.

“Yes, the irony of that is not lost to me. But it’s a role I do appreciate. Although, them making up by kissing is still a rather new concept for me.” Ellen expresses with a sigh as the man nods with a chuckle. “Ahh yes young love is often passionate like that with emotions of all kinds. Once they grow up more they should become better. Probably..” Otokichi says with joking uncertainty as Ellen giggles.

“I suppose. Thank you Otokichi San. Anyway I must get to my room. I’m gonna work on some homework due next week.” She says as the man nods without a word as she leaves. Once out of the room he frowns a bit. “I do hope I made you feel a bit better Ellen. But it’s clear your own issue might need some honesty from you and others to make it better.” He says knowingly as he looks to where she once stood before looking back to the food he had prepared.

Inside her room Ellen lays her chest onto her bed as her face covers her pillow. “I’m so dumb..” Ellen says annoyed as she soon changes position to looking up to the ceiling with the pillow now close to her chest. “I shouldn’t have reacted that way.” Ellen says as her mind flashes back to the moment in the store.

There she and Hummy stood as Hibiki and Kanade laid their heads down in a bow. “I’m sorry..” the two said as Ellen smiled. “I shouldn’t have eaten your cupcakes before you were done with work, Kanade .” Hibiki says as Kanade nods. “And I should not have been so..mean and chased you around the store. Even if it’s empty it not only was childish but silly of me over something so small.” Kanade says as Hibiki giggles.

“Hey apology accepted but being childish isn’t too bad. I mean we’re not adults yet right?” Hibiki says as Kanade looks up and genuinely smiles. “Yeah thankfully. I don’t wanna deal with all that responsibility yet.” Kanade says as Hibiki nods. “Yeah!” She says as Kanade looks at Hibiki's face and notices something that she smiles at. “Although I know one thing I can do to get back at you nicely.” Kanade says as she moves closer and licks off some icing on Hibiki’s face. As she does Ellen and Hummy blush a bit watching as Hibiki smirks.

“I see. How’s it taste?” She questions flirtingly as Kanade hums in thought. “A bit sweet but also a bit sour. Kinda like you.” Kanade says jokingly as Hibiki smirks. “Well that had only a bit of sweetness. Here’s the sweetest part of me.” Hibiki says as she moves in as Kanade smirks as the two kiss on the lips. As they did, Hummy covered her eyes.

“Ahh gross I hate when you two do this without saying you're going to! Right, Siren?” Hummy questions looking at the girl as her own face was full of not disgust but of pain as she watched with a sad look. One, Hummy was confused by. “Siren? What’s wrong?” Hummy questions as Ellen looks down after being alerted as she blushes. “Oh just that I wish I could..do that too. Anyway I should get going for dinner. I can’t let Otokichi San eat alone with Ako at her sleepover!” Ellen says as she picks up her purse and soon walks out without a second word as she sadly turns away from Hummy who has a look of confusion on her face and the kissing couple who don’t seem to notice her leaving.

Kissing Couple. How that idea hurt Ellen and yet brought her so much joy. Her best friends in the whole world had found the happiest, and greatest harmony of all, love, and with it their bond grew exponentially higher than it ever did before. Sure they still fought like an old married couple as Ako would say. And while that phrase would bring about annoyance with the two saying they aren’t old yet or married yet respectively, Ellen had to agree that it didn’t stop them from being loving with each other.

But ever since they got together, Ellen felt her own harmony internally go out of tune. And she knew the reason but dared never say it..for it was taboo. She not only loved Hibiki and Kanade as friends but she loved them both equally as romantically. It was a secret she tried to keep to herself for the shame of it. When she first realized she liked Hibiki she thought it was normal.

Or at least one of the newer books she read from Otokichi San said as such. And even then her realizing she was a lesbian was something she should hold with pride as it was not only legal in this world but especially so in her own world. All love was real love after all. And she knew why she developed a crush on Hibiki. After all she was so courageous and strong as well as having an appetite that rivaled her and Hummy combined.

It made their times of eating together feel so warm and fuzzy, sharing in a love of food. And yet also music as Hibiki wanted her of all people to critique her during her piano practice. Which made Ellen joyful in the fact of her having such a nice view on her musical skills. Even if the former song fairy didn’t have as much faith in herself.

All these things made her love Hibiki..and yet she found a lot of them in Kanade as well. While Hibiki was strong and courageous, fitting with the other pink pretty cures she knew both new and old, Kanade fit with her group of blue or second in command type cures just as well. She was a kind but firm young woman and someone Ellen respected for this and admired for such kindness.

Kindness that she felt radiated from the cupcakes she made for her and all her customers. It was as Rio told her during their redemptive meetings, food made with love always carried with it a large amount of Kirakiru. And while she was not the type of fairy to identify it, she could still feel it when she took a bite of the heavenly food.

And yet that was the problem. That was the big issue Ellen faced. She didn’t just love one of her friends romantically. She loved both of them romantically. And that..was a taboo in this world. In the books she read of this world the idea of infidelity even before marriage was unacceptable. A person should have only one true love..and for that Ellen felt guilt any time she thought of her feelings.

It was why she, Hummy, Shouta, and a begrudgingly annoyed Ako, took to having the two of them confess. And while that went off without a hitch..it broke the cat girl's heart. She thought that seeing them together would finally break her of her crushes but instead it made the pain of longing worse. Now whenever they would hang out and the two would act in a loving manner, not only would he be the third wheel standing on the sides but the one feeling backstabbed by her own feelings.

So she sits on her bed, eyes up to the ceiling above as tears dry on her face as she closes her eyes. Perhaps this is for the best. My sins as a villain are being repaid. I once tried nothing but to separate them. And now I have not only brought them together more than ever..I now receive the pain from it like inflicted to them before. Such is my fate..my eternal punishment for all I did. As tears continued to fall down, uncaring of Otokichi San hearing or of anyone hearing as the pain was too much to bear.

“Ellen!!” The girl heard as her room shook as her door opened and a girl fell onto her floor causing Ellen to quickly scoot back to her wall as fear overtook her. “Ahhh!!!! Wait..Hibiki?!” Ellen yelled as she soon saw the girl and recognized her outfit and face as she stood up. “Hehe sorry bout that scare, Ellen.” Hibiki says with a nervous laugh as a hand from behind her smacks her on the back of the head causing the girl to yell out.

“Hibiki, you scared the poor girl to death! This isn’t a laughing matter.” Kanade yells as Hibiki looks back. “Hey, I'm not laughing at her. I just got worried for Ellen because I heard her crying.” Hibiki says as Ellen perks up as she blushes as soon wipes some tears on her pillow. “I..I was not crying.” Ellen says despondently as Kanade gives a soft smile. “Awww Ellen, I think Riko’s rubbed off on you.” Kanade says as she soon touches her face and shows tears still on it causing Ellen to blush more.

“Okay I was crying. But..but I assure you it was..” Ellen says as Hibiki interrupts. “Because of us kissing in front of you.” Hibiki says as Ellen freezes up. “Wha..what?” She questioned as Kanade gave her a concerned look . “We didn’t hear everything but once we broke from our kiss..hummy told us you left.” Kanade says. “And that you were acting weird.” Hibiki says as Kanade wacks her on her back. “What?! It’s what she said!” Hibiki says as Kanade rolls her eyes. “So we came to check up on you. And when we heard crying we got worried.” Kanade says as she places a hand on Ellen’s shoulder.

“So..tell us what’s wrong. We are a team after all. We shouldn’t keep secrets from each other.” Hibiki says as she does the same to Ellen’s other shoulder as her face turns beat red as her heart beat increases. “I..I’m not keeping secrets.” She says lying as Kanade smiles. “Ellen. You're not very good at hiding your feelings. We can tell if you're upset with something. But I'm sure we can help.” Kanade says as Ellen soon shakes. “Ahh no you can’t! What I’m upset about is something..not right.” Ellen says as Hibiki looks at her. “Common Ellen it can’t be that bad. You're not that kinda person anymore. You're too nice to do something bad.” Hibiki says as Ellen feels tears start to build up.

This was too much! The heat, the closeness, the concern. It was all Ellen wanted to feel when around both of these beautiful people and yet..and yet it killed her. It hurt her beyond repair as she struggled to control herself. “But it is..I’m..I’m an adulterous person who wants to enter your relationship for my own desires. Just like before! Only now it’s because..because…I love both of you the exact same!” Ellen yells as her feelings blurt out of her as heat leaves her face before a chill runs up her spine. Did she just..oh lord she did. She just admitted her feelings!! Out loud in front of two people she liked who were already dating! Oh lord what was she thinking!? Now both must think Ill of her or think she’s back to being a villian surely. But as the girl looked at both they seemed shocked as she feared but soon they looked at each other and laughed. It tore at her very core as feelings of anger soon took control.

“Why..why are you laughing?” Ellen questions. Surely such a confession should be taken seriously should it not? Why was this a joke? “Ahh shoot Ellen don’t be mad it’s not that you did anything wrong.” Hibiki says as Kanade nods.”It’s just..you might not fully understand a word. Adultery is when a person..well does something rather nasty with another’s lover. You didn’t do that. So I don’t know why you think that way.” Kanade says as Ellen frowns.

“But I..the book said..that you should be faithful to who you love and yet I can’t choose. And even worse you two are a couple now. I don’t understand why don’t you hate me for my confession then?” Ellen questions as Hibiki smiles. “Well first of all it’s gonna take a lot more than a love confession to make me or Kanade hate you after all we’ve been through. But secondly..well I guess we should come clean. Ehh Kanade?” Hibiki says as Kanade nods. “I agree. You see Ellen..the truth is we both love you too. We have for a while.” Kanade confesses as Ellen breaks out into a blush. “I..but you are both in a relationship? Is it not improper to like another in such a situation?” Ellen questions as Kanade giggles.

“Well technically yes we shouldn’t do it but only if the person we both like isn’t okay with it.” Kanade says. “But since you said you like both of us I think we can all share each other and be together as one poly relationship.” Hibik says as Ellen looks confused. “Poly?” She questioned. “It’s when more than two people are in a loving relationship. In our case you love Hibiki and she loves me, I love you, and you love me. So we all love each other equally.” Kanade says. “So what do you say Ellen? Wanna be in a poly with us?” Hibiki says as Ellen blushes.
“I..but why me? I understand why I would like you two but what do I offer to either of you to love?” Ellen questions rather self consciously as Hibiki smiles.

“Well for starters you know how to seriously rock out on your guitar. Plus you have a great singing voice. And you're also super smart!” Hibiki says. “And you're also very kind and loving. As well as being reliable to help us when we get too heated with each other.” Kanade says. “Plus..” Kanade says as Hibiki nods as the two smile brightly at Ellen. “You're really cute!” The two say as Ellen melts like a witch being doused in water.

And what she wouldn’t give to cool down with water as her cheeks reach a dangerous bright red color. “I..I don’t know what to say..I’m just..I never knew I c..” Ellen says as Hibiki moves in close. “Don’t say anything.” Hibiki says as she kisses Ellen on the cheek as the girl feels dizzy. “Your actions and what you already said speak louder than any words.” Kanade says as she kisses her other check as Ellen feels the dizzy feeling overtake her as she soon loses sight.

In reality the two girls watch as Ellen collapses on the bed with a joyful if goofy grin plastered on her face. “Crap, I think we did too much.” Hibik says as Kanade sighs. “Probably but it’s nice to know we all agree on our feelings.” Kanade says as Hibiki nods. “Ahh girls I just finished dinner would you like..oh my.” Otokichi says as he enters the room as both girls turn to him. “I suppose the confession went off a little too overwhelmingly?” Otokichi questions as Hibik gasps.

“Wait Otokichi San, you knew we had crushes on Ellen and she had crushes on us?” Hibiki questioned as the man chuckled. “I did. I’ve known since I watched you hold onto her as she called out her sins to the ocean and promised to repent. I’m frankly shocked it took this long for the three of you to confess your feelings. But I am glad to see smiles as the outcome of this instead of sadness as I saw earlier.” Otokichi says as he looks down at Ellen’s happy grin before looking at both girls standing in front of him.

“Regardless, once she’s awake we should have dinner. It will be nice to share your first meal with her as an official couple.” He says as both Hibiki and Kanade look back to their smiling friend and nod in perfect harmony with the older man’s assertion. One thing was for sure. This night would forever be something special in their lives together. And the trio of music themed lovers wouldn’t have it any other way. Especially once a smiley cat girl would awaken to the good and happy reality awaiting her.

I must say this ship is less weird to me! I mean it probably is to a few other people but yeah. So why did I poly these three? Well because I must be honest I have never like Hibiki and Kanade as a couple. I find them fighting often to be kinda worrying as someone with a family life involving parents who are often fighting like that. I just find it not romantic and kinda gross honestly. But Ellen as she was the bright shinning beacon of hope the season needed to be even a little good (sorry Suite Fans your season is kinda my least favorite) she was also that beacon of hope for a cute relationship as I love her dynamic with the girls.

They made a fantastic trio and I envisioned how perfect they could work as a couple. So colored me shocked to find only one other fic with them as a poly on this site! Now to be fair, I feel Polys are a bit of a non touched on topic with Pretty Cure fics so many that's why. But I figured I just had to do it justice so here we are!

But as I said before I decided on different pics of Hibiki and Kanade in the main Redemptive Verse. One being with Hibiki x Woan which is a bit of a more crack idea and Kanade x Ouji which is honestly just the way cannon would probably go with this season. But I still enjoy this overall especially to give time to show my favorite purple cat girl (Sorry Yukari I love you as well but Ellen is my preferred of the two) the spotlight! And make this arguably my most steamy or flirty fic. Like I usually don't go this route but I guess I just felt it could work. Or would just be adorable to do so why not!

Anyway with that said I hope you enjoy! The next chapter might come out tomorrow although with class tonight I am not sure but I know my next ship is a fun one and one I know a certain friend of my loves more than the one I went with. Chapter 3: Mourning for a Friend and Brother! Love is found in Sadness!

Summary:

Ichika goes to Lumiere’s grave to bump into a certain blonde. But while this night might seem sad, it actually ends quite well for the two of them.

So then another chapter today! And one I am happy to let this one out for a certain friend of mine! So I hope you enjoy!

Dark was what the night sky showed above. Few stars twinkled in the sky and yet the darkness was comforting and nice. The chill of the night sat on the back of a certain girl's skin as she descended down below into a large crater in a mountain.

As she did she soon landed on her feet as she smiled satisfied by her skillful landing. But soon the smile turned to sadness as she saw a shrine in front of her. One she moved closer to as the light of the area illuminated her hair showing its beautiful strawberry like red color and the pigtail form it took on. As the girl approached the shrine she frowned even harder.

On the altar was a blue rabbit creature asleep with a weak movement of the throat to indicate life. Even more so due to the glowing light emulating off his body and a nasty wound still left in his fur from what appeared to be a spear.

As the girl grimaced seeing it she soon gave a sad look to someone next to the shrine. She was a girl around her age with long blonde hair with luxurious shine. She wore a simple green and white dress as well as an adorable headband in the shape of the fairy’s ears only pink in color. She had her eyes closed and her breathing was slow and melodic with light cute snores.

As the pink haired girl approached she also saw despite the torches lining both sides of the shrine, she was shaking from the cold. Fortunately the girl had a small bag with her she used to drape a long purple blanket over the girl. Instantly warming her up but also causing her to open her eyes showing off starry eyes that looked up in confusion.

“Mon Fouet?” She questions as the girl smiled. “That’s my name or your nickname for me at least.” She jokes as she sits down next to her. As she did the girl looked up to her and then frowned. “I’m sorry.” The girl says as Ichika looks at her. “Why Ciel?” She questions. “I came here again. And on our sleepover night with the others no less. Are they worried about me?” Ciel questions nervously as Ichika smiles.

“Nope! I snuck out without them hearing a peep.” She says as the girl gives her an unconvinced look as she sighs. “Okay I kinda made noise but I’m sure no one heard! Besides Yukari and Akira and Himari and Aio are too busy snuggling up with their girlfriends to hear. Kinda like I thought I was before I woke up alone.” Ichika says with a pout as Ciel giggled as she soon looked her in the eyes. “I apologize. I did enjoy a good caline session with you. But I got worried after a nightmare, so I came here to be with Pikario.” She says as she looks to her brother sadly as Ichika nodded.

“I figured. It was either this place or making sure Bibury wasn’t having a party while you were gone.” Ichika jokes as Ciel giggles. “Non non non. Bibury would never have a party. That’s one thing I’m sure about with her. Although, she might be a bit lonely so maybe I should have checked on her.” Ciel says as Ichika looks sadly at her. “It’s nice you want to but I’m sure she’s okay. Like I'm sure Rio Kun is good tonight.” Ichika says as Ciel nods.

“I know..I just. It’s been a few months since he was last awakened. And what with that scar on him..I’m afraid it will take much longer for him to awaken. And that’s what’s hurting me.” Ciel says as Ichika frowns. “You're still feeling guilty aren’t you, Ciel?” Ichika questions as Ciel looks annoyed. “Of course I am! I’m his sister..and yet because of me Nior got to him. And set him loose in our hometown with those Kirukiru Thieves! All because I didn’t see how much he was hurting back then. I was such a fool.” Ciel says as she buries her head in her lap. As she does, Ichika places a hand on her back and rubs affectionately.

“Hey common Ciel, don’t forget you also helped bring him back to us. Your sibling bound with him helped him to rediscover how much he loves to cook and how much he loves you.” Ichika says as Ciel looks up. “Only because you helped. Cause you could hear his pain.” Ciel says as Ichika giggles. “Yes but do you know what he kept repeating when he was in pain? Kirarin, Kirarin, Kirarin.” Ichika says getting closer and closer to Ciel’s ear till she was basically tickling the poor girl causing her to giggle.

“Ahh Ichika. Stop that!” Ciel says as she playfully shoves her and both girls giggle. Once they do, Ichika and Ciel look at each other as Ciel smiles. “Merci, Mon Fouet.” Ciel says as Ichika smiles. “Of course! I’m not your Whip for nothing! Uhh Mon Jument.” Ichika says as Ciel gives her a playful smirk. “Wrong, that means horse, you should have said Mon Pegase to refer to my animal or Mon Parfait to refer to my cure name.” She says as she playful boops her on the noose.

“Ahh darn. Sorry I thought my French was getting better. Guess I gotta try better. Or else I won’t be able to understand you anymore.” Ichika jokes as Ciel smirks. “Oh vraiment? Eh bien, tu ferais mieux de commencer à étudier.” Ciel says as Ichika looked at her as if she had five heads and spoke Russian. “I umm think one of those words means I should study more?” Ichika questions as Ciel smirks.

“Oui, Très Bien!” Ciel says as Ichika smiles. “Yay at least I knew that one kinda. Still I’m glad I made you feel a bit better.” Ichika says as Ciel nods. “You always make me feel better, Ichika. I’m so glad I met you. Ever since I did, the world seems so much warmer.” Ciel says as Ichika’s face heats up. “Of course. Anything for my girlfriend you know!” Ichika says with pride as Ciel giggles before yawning a bit. “Oh right, I probably should get to bed soon.” Ichika says as she grabs the edge of the blanket and snuggles up to Ciel under it as the nice and toasty fabric makes her eyes feel heavier.

“My my you are quite the affectionate girl tonight.” Ciel jokes. “Hey if cuddling with my girlfriend keeps us both warm and happy as we sleep then I’ll do it!” Ichika says as Ciel nods. “So I see. Well then goodnight, Mon Fouet.” Ciel says as she lays a heavy head down onto Ichika’s shoulder as she blushes before smiling. “Of course Ciel. I love you.” She says giving her a quick peck on the cheek before allowing the warmth of Ciel and the blanket take her to dream land. “I love you too, Ichika.” Ciel says before both fall asleep together happily.

“Hey I think I found them!” Aoi yells as five figures move over to her as they all see the duo sleeping next to the shrine of Cure Lumiere even as the morning sun illuminated the cave. As they see the loving couple Himari smiles, Aoi smirks, Yukari giggles and Akira sighs. “Shouldn’t we wake them?” Bibury the fifth person with them questions as Aoi smiles. “Nah let’s let them have their romantic sleep over.” Aoi says as Bibury sighs.

“We don’t have time for this lovey dovey bullshit. We need to open up her store and get ready for the day. Unless you want Ciel’s usuals to get pissed.” She says as Aoi smirks. “Nah I think you're just jealous of us, you're the only one who’s single. But I’m sure when Rio wakes up you two can get together.” Aoi says as Yukari giggles at Bibury vomiting reaction. “I would rather jump off a cliff into lava until I was nothing but ash before I would even think of being nice to Julio. Let alone get romantic with him.” Bibury says as Yukari nods.

“Exactly Aoi. What Bibury needs is someone to treat her right. I could call up Prince Nata and tell him you could be his bride.” Yukari says as Bibury blushes angrily. “Eww the last thing I want besides Julio as a lover is a stupid prince. What kinda stupid girl would fall for a prince?” Bibury says as Yukari giggles and Akira sighs. “Let’s not reopen those old wounds of him coming again. Especially after he left with that huge misunderstanding before.” Akira says annoyed as Yukari giggles.

Meanwhile, Aoi and Himari just look and smile to their friends as they can see thanks to Ciel hogging the blanket, the two girls holding hands with content smiles on their faces as they dream together in blissful wonderland. Love truly is beautiful is it not?

So then since I love Ichika a lot but even more so I also love Ciel and Rio so really I am fine with her ending up with either. So yeah that was kinda my inspiration but also getting to focus on Ciel's own guilt which was nice overall. Since I never got to tackle that to much in my normal series!

But also I loved writing that ending. Bibury will always be my absolute favorite to make jokes with and that one in particularly was one I was shocked to have not made yet. Well that and making everyone else really happy for their friends which is always important.

That and getting the chance to make Ciel use a lot more French than I tend to have her use. I think it's cute and I gotta give my friend Merry the credit for really showing me that. It's my recent stuff with Ciel has had her use it and it was pretty fun!

Anyway with that said I have a few ideas were the next chapter can go with so I hope you look forward to it! And have a nice day as always!

Chapter 4: We're still here together!

Summary:

Their friends might be in other parts of the world and universe, but at least they have each other. Even if they have to remind each other of that from time to time.

So sorry to be a bit later in the morning than I hoped but here is the next chapter! I really liked this one since it focus on a rarely talked about ship! And one I was probably gonna go with till a certain musician and prince came into my stories. With that said I hope you enjoy!

It was a brisk morning as a girl happily appeared at the dorm door as she and another entered a freshly cleaned ready for us dorm room. The walls shone cleanly, the beds made up well, and even the desks on both ends of the room were clean save for the small stationary of paper complimentary for each student.

As they entered a girl with brown hair danced around the room happily with a blissful smile brightening the already sunlit room with more warmth than before. A warmth that a blue haired girl happily enjoyed as she looked around the room. “Ahh the room looks amazing doesn’t it Yui!?” Haruka exclaimed as the blue-haired girl nodded, adjusting her glasses.

“Yes it is quite the beautiful sight to enjoy on our first day back.” Yui says as Haruka nods as she looks out the window. “It’s so good to be back! I missed this place while I was at home. Even if Madoka, mom, and dad made it as warm and loving as ever.” Haruka says as Yui giggles. “Did he make a big deal of you going back here after the break was over?” She questions with a giggle as Haruka sighs.

“He tried but mom wouldn’t allow it.” Haruka giggled as Yui nodded, placing her suitcase on her bunk and looking back at the girl. “So then what do you wanna do before dinner and the night time ceremony?” Yui questions as Haruka hums in thought. “Huh I’m not sure..” she says as Yui smiles.

“I’d love to look and see how the flower gardens are growing with Shut San in the role of groundskeeper.” Yui said with a smile as Haruka bounced. “Yeah! That could be awesome! I’m sure it looks wonderful! If what Miss Shamour said is true.” Haruka says as Yui blinks, perplexed. “What would she know about Shun San?” She questions as Haruka gasps. “Wait, I thought you knew. She told us about it in the Hope Kingdom.” Haruka says as Yui giggles.

“I didn't go, remember. Only you did since we all were busy.” Yui says as Haruka soon bonks herself on the head. “Ahh right. Well while I was there with Towa, she told us that she and Shut are now dating!” Haruka says as Yui looks at her in shock.

“Dating?! Oh my that’s a shock then again it is sweet to hear.” Yui says as Haruka nods. “Yeah I know right! But she said he’s really taken to it while at the school. He says it’s like applying makeup to every flower he touches!” Haruka says as Yui smiles.

“That’s great. I’m glad you and Towa were told about it.” Yui says as Haruka’s smile soon turns a bit into a frown. “Oh right..Towa.” She says as she looks down as Yui blushes. “Oh right..yeah I’m sorry Haruka.” Yui says as Haruka sighs.

“It’s not your fault. I mean..I’m sure she and Kanata are enjoying their lives back in their world. I bet they're having fun..playing violin and making their people smile.” Haruka says as tears start to build in her eyes. “Kirara is probably having fun in Paris by now as well and enjoying her time modeling all those great outfits as only she can..” Haruka says as she shakes and tears build up more.

“And Minami..she’s definitely having fun now too. I mean she’s living her dream to help animals like she wanted to with Tina. I’m sure..I’m sure she’s..she’s..” Haruka says before a pair of arms wrap around her as a face buried into her neck. “Ahh Yui..” Haruka says as Yui looks at her with tears in her eyes.

“I feel the same as Haruka. But we can’t let that beat us down. Besides, we still have each other.” Yui says as Haruka’s heart races as she nods. “Yeah we do..we have each other. Just like before. Only now without anyone else..” Haruka says as Yui smiles. “Yes but..I’m a bit happy that is the case because..I don’t know how long I can hide it from everyone.” Yui says as Haruka sighs.

“I’m sorry Yui! Honestly I am..I just didn’t wanna come out to them or my family yet. But I promise..we can sometime soon. Alright I just gotta figure out how to say it. I mean they love you already so I’m sure..they will know why I love you so much.” Haruka says as Yui smiles. “I understand. But if it’s not too much trouble can I do something to take your mind off this sadness?” Yui questions as Haruka smiles.

“Sure.” She says as Yui due to her shorter height stands on her tippy toes and places her lips to Haruka’s as a wave of happiness fills her as the sorrow leaves her instantly. As she concludes the kiss Haruka smiles. “Wow, that really did help me. Thank you Yui. I love you so much.” Haruka says as she wraps her arms around the girl and hugs although Yui cries out from it.

“Ahh Haruka too tight!” She yells as Haruka lets go and Yui breaths in relief. “Sorry I forgot about my own strength! Mom says I’m a bear with my hugs like my dad.” Haruka says as Yui smiles. “Well then I’m glad. It makes me feel protected.” Yui says as Haruka blushes.

“Ahh I’m glad you do but you're strong too. I mean even without being a pretty cure you shattered those cages of despair and saved all our classmates! That takes a lot of courage and strength!” Haruka says as Yui smiles.

“Thank you Haruka. You always manage to make me feel better just by saying how you feel. Your honesty is so sweet.” Yui says as Haruka smiles. “Of course. I need to be honest to stay kind. Kindness is one of our important princess conditions after all.” Haruka says. “And you have that right on the money. Along with the others.” Yui says as Haruka blushes.

“I guess. Still I have a bit more till I can properly be a princess. But when I do someday I hope you can be one with me.” Haruka says as Yui nods. “It might be tricky for me without being a pretty cure but I swear I will try to keep up. I will always be by your side, Haruka.” Yui says as Haruka smiles. “Yep! Now then let’s get going and see those flowers. As the princess of them it’s my duty to greet them!” Haruka says happily and jokingly as Yui nods and laughs.

“Well then lead the way your majesty.” Yui says as Haruka nods, talking to her girlfriend's hand as they do out the door. Ready to see what kinda adventure awaits even as their former journey has ended. Because as long as they stay together, good things are sure to come for both of the girls.

So another one that's more so focused on the characters after a confession has already happened. Manly since I was struggling how to fit a confess in without making things selfish. That being said I did enjoy how I worked with and I got to mention Shut x Miss Shamour so double points for me on that one.

As for Yui and Haruka I love this paring. They are adorable and precious (ironic given one of their names) as well as just plain sweet. They were my first ship in Go Princess (I blame the dancing with Yui scene) and while Kanaharu is now my main focus for Haruka (Curse you Toei Animation and you making prince / king characters perfect for your pink magical girls!) so this one got to the wayside. I am happy with stuff with Yui and Kurosu ship though, but this was a fun exercise in what I could have gone with.

That being said I hope you enjoy and look out for the next one. I have a really fun idea in mind that is very crack like but IDK if am being Selfish on that one I just wanna do it. That being said I hope you have a fantastic day!

Chapter 5: I’ll be your muscle!

Summary:

After the events of the group related body swap in Tropical Rouge episode 37, Asuka and Sango discuss the events that occurred and what it might lead to for them.

And I'm back earlier today and yesterday cause I really loved working with this one. The goofiness of the Tropical Rouge Body Swap or Motivation Swap moments will always get me intrigued so this was an obvious point of reference. Plush I know this is an underrated ship so why not hit two birds with one stone!

Inside the Tropical Club, everyone was still out of it from the events that just occured. The girl thankfully had been able to defeat the Yaraneeda and Chongire as well as all of them regaining human bodies once again. Although three of them were still unfortunately screwed up. Minatsu was now in Minori’s body and kept losing her glasses or balance falling all over the place.

As she did, Laura in Minatsu’s body tried to help her from doing so although her newfound body's energy was making her go mad with how hard it was to control. Finally, Minori tried to help as best she could within the body of Laura once more which now struggled to see without her glasses which Minatsu had taken to see despite her body not needing it. All the while Kururun watched and cheered on the girls.

Asuka and Sango meanwhile look on at the situation occurring. The two were told they didn’t need to help and that Laura could handle the situation and switch her friends back but it seems Laura had more than she thought in terms of doing it by herself. As they watch on, Asuka sighs in annoyance. “When will all of these body swapping stuff stop happening?” She questions annoyed as Sango frowns.

“I’m not sure but I hope everyone gets their bodies back soon.” Sango says as she lifts a cup of tea she was having from the group's tea party they were supposed to have. Before all this insanity befell them that is. As she lifted it though she let out a cute squeak as she placed her cup down and rubbed her arm grimacing.

“Your arm still hurts?” Asuka questions as Sango nods. “Yes. You really did put it through its paces when you switched with me.” Sango says as Asuka sighs. “Please, it was only 16 kg. I normally curl about 32 kg with both arms as a warm up. And back when I was serious with tennis I did 50 kg for a warm up with 100 kg as my max.” Asuka says as Sango looks worried.

“That seems like a lot. Are you sure your body can handle it?” Sango questions as Asuka smirks. “Sure I’m sure check these puppies out.” Asuka says as she flexes to Sango showing an impressive 35cm bicep flex. Seeing this made Sango go wide-eyed with shock and awe.

“Wow you really are strong.” Sango says as Asuka smiles. “You can do it if you let me train ya.” Asuka says as Sango smiles. “I don’t think I want that. I don’t think muscles look good on my body. I prefer being small and petite.” Sango says. “Don’t forget cute.” Asuka says as Sango nods.

“Right, I can't forget the cut..” she says as she soon becomes aware of what Asuka said and looks at her as she smirks. “What? Don’t you think you are?” She questions as Sango blushes. “I mean yes somewhat but not as much as Minatsu San or Laura San or Minori Senpai.” Sango says as Asuka smiles.

“Hey don’t tell them this but to me you're the cutest person in the group.” Asuka says kindly as Sango feels a massive blush erupt on her face as she equally feels her heart soar from the praise. “Tha..thank you Asuka Senpai.” Sango says as Asuka nods.

“Anytime. Although since you're small, cute and petite maybe I can protect you? Be the muscle you need.” Asuka says as Sango looks confused. “Protect me? I mean it’s nice if you can but in battle I’m usually the one who makes the barriers that protect others.” Sango says as Asuka smirks. “Yeah but I meant outside of fighting.” Asuka says as Sango smiles.

“That would be nice. If you did that maybe I wouldn’t be shy to visit that new ice cream shop. It’s in a more street side of town and I’m not sure if anyone is violent over there. And I haven’t bothered asking the others since we’ve all been busy.” Sango says as Asuka nods. “Sure thing I’ll take you there. Sounds like a place for a great first date.” Asuka says as Sango nods, sipping her tea.

“Yes, a first..date!” Sango says as she spits out her tea onto the floor and looks at Asuka who smirks. “Are..are you asking me out, Asuka Senpai?” She questions as the girl in red blushes a bit but smirks to the girl. “Guilty as charged.

I’ve kinda had a thing for you for awhile but today after seeing how cute you made even my not so cute body look when we switched. It kinda made me feel I should be honest and make my move. So do you wanna go on a date?” Asuka questions as the cute girl blushes.

“I mean that’s so forward and I have never been on a date but I..I guess it would be nice. But don’t put yourself down like that, Asuka Senpai. You're very cute as well as strong.” Sango says as Asuka blushes a bit and smiles. “Thanks Sango anyway you wanna go now. Since the others are still struggling?” She questions as the girl nods.

“I do hope they can find a way to switch back.” Sango says as Asuka sighs. “Hey, that's their fault for not wanting us to help.” Asuka says as the happy couple leaves the club room without a goodbye from Sango and a see ya from Asuka.

As they do, Minori looks up. “Huh Asuka and Sango left. Darn right when I was finally gonna ask for them to help me find my..” Minori says as she hears a crunch followed by a grow before she hears yelling on the other side of the room.

“Minatsu! Those are Minori’s glasses, how could you break them!” Laura yells in Minatsu’s voice which surprisingly had as much authority as Laura’s own when in her normal body. As she yells, Minatsu in Minori’s body makes a rather goofy noise and scratches the back of her head.

“I mean Laura, that was because of you. You step on them when they fall onto the floor.” Minatsu says as Laura blushes in embarrassment as she pitches Minori’s cheeks as Minatsu gives out a yelp. “It’s because your body is too energized! You need to eat less sugar!” Laura yells as Minori sighs.

“We're gonna be like this for a while aren’t we?” Minori says to no one in particular as a seal like a fairy claps their fins together. “Kururun!” The fairy says happily despite the fighting breaking out from Minatsu and Laura and Minori’s annoyed sighs.

Meanwhile, in another part of town a happy new couple enjoys a three scoop cone together with a happy grin on both faces. Perhaps, today is a good day after all. In spite of all the body swapped goofiness that transpired and still are transpiring. Well, Asuka and Sango that is.

This chapter was not my original idea for last night but as always the creativity fairy hit me last night and so I had to make this idea come true! I hope some of the weight and muscle statistics here make sense since tbh I was kinda making it up with some general understanding but I hope you enjoyed it regardless! Chapter 6: Memories of a Melody! Two Heart Beats go Aflutter!

Summary:

As a fun night occurs with Aguri and Regina's odd family, Aguri soon questions her sister's odd behavior and once she gets to the bottom of it she decides to tell her to do something she should have done awhile ago.

So yeah this one was my original idea for yesterday's chapter but I actually really am happy I saved it for last night. Namely since this one is a bit longer than the recent ones so I hope your happy by it! I know I am since besides Ellen's poly ship, this is one of the first ideas that came to me when thinking of these what if chapters! So I hope you enjoy!

“Aguri Sweetie!” Aguri heard from inside the house as the young brunette rushed from her place in the garden. As she did she soon saw the person who called her along with another person in the kitchen. “Yes grandma?” Aguri questions as she smiles at her in a very kind way. “Your father and I are almost done with dinner. Could you tell Regina so you two can freshen up?” She questions as Aguri nods. “Of course Grandma. The food smells wonderful.” Aguri compliments as her grandma giggles.

“It’s actually your father’s recipe for tomato soup.” She says as the older former king blushes. “Wow really papa?” Aguri questions as he nods. “It is but more so a family recipe. Your mother and I used to make this whenever we could sneak past the chiefs to do so. Once we became king and queen it became harder. But now I get to tap back into the memory of it.” He says as Aguri nods. “I see, I can’t wait to try it. And knowing it’s made from you will make Regina come down quickly.” Aguri says as the former king chuckles.

“I bet.” He says as Aguri leaves the kitchen room and heads down the hall to the guest room. They had two within their little house which was convenient for their father and Regina to use when they came over. Tonight was a special Madoka / Former Royal Family tradition ever since she, Regina and the others freed their father from the true Selfishes control. Although it was often a night Aguri knew would be long given a certain blonde haired girl's personality.

But as she went closer to her room she was confused. Instead of the normal giggle or laughing Regina would do or talking she’d do on the phone, she heard music. But it was not the music that stopped her, it was the song in particular as familiar lyrics sung out. “I sing from the heart, so my voice can reach the ends of the earth. The flames of my hope light like it did before.” She heard as she recognized the signer.

It was Makoto, specifically Makoto, singing her recent song "With All My Heart”. As Aguri heard this she kinda got why, as Regina had told her numerous times it was her favorite song and she memorized the lyrics. Even boasting her singing was better than Makoto’s which the red cure doubted but didn’t bother to fight. So the odd part was the lyrics she heard were Makoto and no one else. Regina was not singing to it which made her suspicious as she knocked on the door.

“Regina.” Aguri called as she heard a massive fall. Worried, she opened the door only to be greeted by her newfound sister on the floor with her head upside down facing her with a shocked look. “Ahh Agri! You scared me!” Regina yells as she stands up. “I was not trying to. Although I came to let you know dinner is almost ready and to wash up. And that it is Papa’s recipe for Tomato Soup.” She says as the girl practically lights up.

“Heck ya! His soup is the best! You're gonna love it, Agri! Anyway, I call bathroom time first!” Regina yells as she flies through the room and out into the hall before slamming the door to the bathroom. As she does, Aguri lets out a sigh as she closes the girl’s door. Seems Regina is still Regina no matter what even if it was weird before. Sill Aguri soon moves back to the kitchen and soon the dining room as she helps to set the plates and silverware.

And after a few minutes of prep and everyone washing up, the four newfound family members sat down and began to enjoy the meal with Regina looking like she’s in heaven. Aguri had to admit the food was heavenly too but she wouldn’t act so childish about it as her sister was. But that heavenly look would come to an end as after sipping some of his water, their father turned to Regina as he smiled. “So Regina, how was class today?” He questions as Regina freezes up. “Oh class..it was alright Papa. Nothing new is going on.” Regina says as her father looks confused.

“Really? Oh okay um how are the other girls?” He questions as Regina smiles. “Well Mana was helping out Jun with being student Council President.” She says as Aguri sighs. “Honestly, I thought she said she wouldn't help him out and let him be his own student council president.” Aguri says as Regina giggles. “Rikka said the same thing. Even got into a fight with her about it.” Regina says as her father nods.

“How about Makoto San? I do worry for her sometimes since she has dealt with so much. Is she adjusting well to life again?” He questions as Regina freezes. Aguri sees her smile of laughter fade as she gives a brief pained look before shaking her head.

“Oh Makoto..yeah she’s doing well. She has her own fan club and everything.” Regina says as her father chuckles. “She was always a star even as just a songstress. I’m glad her voice can reach out to many in both our kingdom and this world. Even if they will never know how great she really is.” Her father says as their grandmother laughs.

“I think the last thing the girls need is to have their names known by everyone. Thankfully your friends had those Prism Stones to help wipe away the memory of Mana Chan’s comments.” Their grandmother said as Aguri sighs.

“Don’t remind me. Honestly it was the most embarrassing experience of my life. Having to basically beg our senpai cures to help us because of our leaders incompetence.” Aguri says as they all laugh a bit at that as discussion goes on normal but Aguri looks back to Regina and sees her once happy go lucky smile was now more mellow. What caused her to feel that way? And what did it have to do with Makoto? She thought.

“Regina?” Aguri says knocking on her door around bed time. As she does she hears a yes as she opens to find Regina lounging on her bed reading some kinda magazine. “Oh hey Agri what’s up? Oh don’t tell me it’s bedtime already.” Regina says as Aguri shakes her head. “No. I wanted to ask you something about dinner tonight. Did something happen between you and Makoto?” Aguri questions as Regina blushes.

“I..uh no why?” She questions lying horribly as Aguri sighs. “You seemed sad when papa brought her up.” Aguri says as Regina looks at her and smirks. “Well um it’s because umm because..” Regina says Aguri frowns as Regina sighs. “Fine I’ll tell you but..don’t tell her or Mana or the others okay.” Regina says as Aguri nods.

“Alright sit down and I’ll tell you. Oh and close the door.” Regina says as Aguri listens as she closes the door and sits next to her. “So umn today I got into a fight..” Regina says as Aguri looks upset as Regina puts her hands out.

“Wait no listen! It’s not a physical one. It was one with words.” Regina says as Aguri sighs. “Alright who did you fight then? It wasn’t Makoto was it?” Aguri questions as Regina shakes her head. “No it was with some of her fanboys though.” Regina says as Aguri nods. Makoto was known to have a bunch at school being an idol and all. “I see, where they are hitting on her and you guys defend her?” She questions as Regina sighs. “I mean kinda..well mostly because I got jealous.” Regina says as Aguri looks confused. “How so?” Aguri says as Regina frowns.

“Because we were fighting about the chances to be with her. And when I said I had a hood they changed, they laughed and said I..I could never be with her. Because I’m a girl.” Regina says openly as Aguri feels glass shatter behind her. “Wh..what!!” She yells standing up as Regina looks at her and shushes her as she sits back down. “So you like her romantically?” Aguri questions as Regina nods. “Yes I do. Why is that a problem?” Regina questions as Aguri blushes.

“Huh no it’s not. I’m not against you being into girls. I respect that you have your own feelings that way. Even if I can’t really say I feel the same.” Aguri says as Regina smirks. “Well when you get to be my age you might.” She says ruffling her hair a bit as Aguri looks annoyed. “So besides that, why are you letting that get you down. I mean you are way closer to Makoto than anyone of them.” Aguri says as Regina sighs.

“Because what if they are right? What if she doesn’t like me because I’m a girl. Or not like me because..of who I am.” Regina says as Aguri looks confused before it dons on her what she’s referring to. “You mean once being part of the princess?” Aguri questions as Regina frowns. “Yes.” Regina says as she looks down.

“It’s just..she was like a mother to Makoto right? That’s kinda how papa tells me she was..when he talks about the two back then. So like what if she does like girls but wouldn’t like me cause I remind her of her mother basically. Or what if she hates me still for being the selfish side of her that broke her in half..” Regina says as Aguri frowns. “You know she won’t hate you because of that. If she did she’d hate me and Ai Chan but she doesn’t. Just like she doesn’t hate you.” Aguri says as Regina nods.

“Okay I guess that’s fair but what about my first thing. And even then what if she just doesn’t like girls and..argh this is so frustrating!” Regina says as she lays back on her bed and makes a pout. “I thought we were over this! Why can’t we just be ourselves without any more baggage!” Regina yells in frustration as Aguri frowns in understanding.

She faced a lot of insecurity from her past as part of the princess. It made things awkward with the others to be sure but with Regina being the same age it was sure to be awkward even more so without even counting the romantic feelings she felt. Yet seeing her sister in this state she sighed.

"My advice is to say how you feel to her.” Aguri says as Regina looks up. "What just like that but what if..” Regina says as Aguri frowns. “Don’t think about that. Just think about why you like her.” Aguri says as Regina thinks out loud. “Well she’s really sweet and kind to everyone, even some annoying fans. She’s really loyal and dedicated if what papa said is true and from what I saw with her as Cure Sword. Also she..she wrote me that song.” Regina says as she blushes.

“I heard that before I knocked on your door. Were you listening to it to feel better?” Aguri questions as Regina nods. “Yeah..it’s my comfort song. Anytime I need to pick me up it does that. It always has had that effect on me even when I was under Papa's control.” Regina says as she places a hand to her heart and smiles.

“Well there you go.” Aguri says as Regina looks confused. “Just tell her those feelings. And if she likes you back she’ll accept and if not then she’ll still be your friend.” Aguri says as she sighs standing up. “But if you feel any better I think you have a shot. And if not then you can cry on my shoulder if you need support.” Aguri said as

Regina looked to her as her eyes filled with tears before she moved faster than Aguri could see as she dove onto her, sending her to the ground in a hug. “Ahh Agri thank you so much you're the best sister ever!!” Regina yells with joy hugging the heck out of her sister before hearing groans as she looks down to see a very dizzy Aguri. “Woops hehe.” She says with a smile.

The next day, Regina was worried throughout the day. She and Aguri had made a plan to get her and Makoto alone. Fortunately it was easy on Aguri’s end as she asked Mana and the others to help her with something when Makoto was in the bathroom. Leaving Regina to wait to inform her what was going on so she could help once she came out. And so Regina waited till she saw a purple haired girl come back into the room as she tried not to blush from the cute look she gave in confusion.

“Regina? Where is everyone?” She questions as Regina smiles. “Ahh they went outside for something and we can catch up in a second but..first I need to tell you something.” Regina says as Makoto smiles. “I see okay then what did you need to tell me?” She questioned as Regina stood up hands behind her back. “So umm..firstly I wanna say you're a great friend who I’m glad to have met. And you're really sweet and nice and strong and loyal and cool and..” Regina says as Makoto looks at her confused.

“Thank you Regina. But why are you saying this?” She questioned as Regina blushes. “I um well the truth is I..like you..more than as a friend..because the truth is..I love you Makoto! I hope this doesn’t make things weird for me to say this..but it’s true and how I feel so yeah!” Regina says awkwardly as Makoto looks at her shocked as internally Regina feels a slight crack go down her heart seeing her look. So she turns around not facing her.

“But um let’s get to Aguri and the others.” Regina says as she begins to walk out of the room as a hand grabs her own. As she feels it’s touch she looks to see Makoto giving her a worried look. “Wait, don't go.” She says as Regina looks at her.

“Regina..do you love me romantically?” Makoto questions as Regina blushes but nods. “Yeah I do. But again if it’s to weird I..” Regina says before a finger covers her mouth. “Regina..I feel the same.” Makoto hears as she smiles and her heartbeat skyrockets. “You..you do!” Regina says happily as Makoto nods, blushing a bit.

“I admit not at first. But once I got to know you I saw how we were not too different. We both are loyal and loving and willing to fight for what we believe. It’s why when I saw you be corrupted I became unsure what to think. Back then I was not like Mana. I’m still not. I didn’t know what to think of you or if you were still the person I got to know briefly. But then I wrote my song and my feelings exploded. I saw you less as a villain and someone I wanted to save from what was hurting you.” Makoto says as Regina smiles.

“So it really was a love song. Wow that makes me happier but..what about the princess thing. Doesn’t that make you uncomfortable?” Regina questions as Makoto looks at her and smiles. “Not at all. I mean when I first learned of it from Aguri I was a bit nervous and confused but over time..I made peace with it. You're not the princess. You're not as confident, or graceful or even wise.” Makoto says as Regina looks at her a bit hurt as Makoto smiles.

“But have your own good qualities. I admire how loyal you are but also you add a bit of fun to my life I never knew I needed. With you around I feel nothing could be boring. But also I have seen you grow. You're not the same girl I met in that rose garden anymore. You're so much nicer and sweeter and compassionate. I mean you care enough about my feelings to ask if the fact you were part of the princess bothered me. I can’t see you doing that in the past. So yes I love you too, Regina.” Makoto says as Regina jumps up and down happily.

“Ahh! That makes me so happy! I love you so much Makoto!” Regina says happily as she soon kisses Makoto on the cheek. As she does the purple haired girl blushes but smiles. “Let’s tell the others!” Regina says, grabbing her hand as Makoto looks and smiles. “Sure thing. I think they deserve to know.” Makoto says kindly as Regina nods as she and her newfound girlfriend run out of the store to tell everyone the good news. The good news that makes all their hearts beat faster than anything they ever felt before.

So yeah Regina x Makoto is a ship I love! While I am team Mana x Regina for the most part, I did really start to have a soft spot for this one because of well episode 40.

Let's be honest that scene between the two really did have some romantic elements even if it's mostly platonic. SO I decided to finally let this ship fly with a chapter!

And of course it also let me work on Aguri and as a fan of writing her and Regina it was a bunch of fun. Because while yes them bickering can be funny it's very rewarding to have them act as all good sisters and brothers should and show a love for each other. Which I think I captured well!

Anyway as for next chapter I am not sure what to post next since I have a few ideas. So we shall see tomorrow what I come up with! But as always have a fantastic day and take care!

Chapter 7: "Friendly" Talks under an Umbrella

Summary:

Set after episode 18 but before episode 35 / 36 of Heart Catch as Ban struggles with the idea of getting home on a rainy day when the weather was incorrectly reported. As such he worries about his new manga getting wet when he walks home and no one will even let him speak due to everyone being afraid to talk to him. Thankfully, Tsubomi is nice enough to lend him his umbrella as long as he holds it for the two of them. But this walk home is a good time for both to think of how they have grown even if neither think they have much.

Welp here we go! My first straight fic in this series finally breaking from the yuri. Not to say I don't like writing yuri since I am fine with any kinda relationship. And yes the irony is not lost on me about the first fic I do not to have a yuri paring being from Heart Catch. With that said I hope you enjoy and look out for my end notes where I explain my thoughts on this one and my history with this idea.

Rain falls onto the top of the school building hard sounding like giants stamping down on the roof. As it did students of all kinds (name of school) stepped out into the rain with an array of different colors and patterns. As many do, a certain boy is unaware of the weather as he happily draws in the art club. His drawings show a strong looking girl fighting a monster in a beautiful outfit. The man despite his brawny and tough look gives a sweet smile of joy drawing what he loves. But as he finishes his latest fight scene a bolt of lighting booms outside causing him to look up and his eyes go wide.

“What the?” He says as he stands. “No no no the weather person said it was going to be cloudy. Not rainy!” He yells annoyed as he looks down at his drawing book and then to his small and barely insulated book bag. No way was he gonna get home with everything dry. Unless, he thinks as he packs up and rushes down to the front of the school as several students gather their things from the locker. He first approached a boy around his age but a bit shorter who took an umbrella out of his locker. “Hey. Um, I didn't bring an umbrella today. Could I walk home with you and then take your umbrella to my place? I promise I can return it to you tomorrow.” He says bowling as the boy looks up and flinches.

“Oh um Ban San uhh sorry I can’t. Anyway I gotta get home bye!” He yells as he panicky packs his stuff and runs out with his umbrella barley opening before he leaves. As Ban watched he sighs. Soon he tries it with nearly everyone else and the results are the same. Be it girls, boys, or even some of the taller guys. All flinch to him and make silly excuses and run out. Eventually everyone has left and he’s left out in the rain without a prayer. “I guess I can try to run home..maybe if I’m fast enough I can keep some of it from getting wet.” He says as he prepared himself before he heard an annoyed voice cry out as a girl rushed down the stairs, one that Ban remembers.

“Hanasaki San?” He questions as Tsubomi looks over and smiles which causes the boy's heart to beat happily at that reaction. “Hello Ban Kun! What are you still doing here?” Tsubomi questions as he sighs. “I was trying to finish my new chapter fight and forgot about the time and didn’t notice the weather. And now that it is pouring I don’t have any way to get home dry.” He says sadly as Tsubomi frowns before smiling. “Well I have this umbrella. We could share it and walk to your house before I get to mine. I think you're the same way as me.” Tsubomi says with a smile as the boy lights up like a Christmas Tree.

“Oh wow really thank you Hanasaki San, you're the best!” He says happily as Tsubomi smiles. “Awe no problem. Although I don’t think I can hold it up high enough.” Tsubomi says as he smiles. “Let me hold it. Since I’m taller I should be able to keep us both dry.” He says happily as he opens Tsubomi’s umbrella to show a cute flower pattern of roses and lilies. As he sees it Ban blushes but lifts it up as they begin their trek back home.

“And then Erika makes a big mess. So I had to help her clean up. But afterwards she got reprimanded by our teacher while she told me to go home.” Tsubomi explained to Ban as the two walked home with both staying fairly dry under their umbrella. “I see. Kurumi San is quite the handful. But I hope she didn’t get harshly punished.” Ban says as Tsubomi nods. “I agree but sometimes I wish she thinks before she acts. Although she has improved on that alot. So maybe she is growing.” Tsubomi says as Ban frowns. “Growing huh? To be honest I don’t think I’ve done much of that lately.” He says as Tsubomi looks confused.

“But you're already so tall? Or are you growing into something?” She questions as the boy nods. “Yes I meant growing as an artist and a person. I just feel I haven’t grown all too much. I mean everyone is still too afraid of me to make any friends..and I can’t seem to get anyone to sign up for the art club. The student council president is really being lenient with waiting for me to get more people. But still I fear it will have to disband because of that. ” Ban says as Tsubomi nods. “Itsuki San can be a bit strict with the rules on clubs. Still I’m sure I could maybe help you get new members.” Tsubomi says as Ban smiles but shakes his head.

“Thank you for the offer but I wanna do it myself. I wanna try to not be so scary to people and get them to see what I love doing.” Ban says as Tsubomi nods. “I think you can. You’ve already grown so much from where you were when we first met. I mean you openly talk about your drawings now and you even had us help you with stuff. Also you came clean to your mom and that really showed courage.” Tsubomi says as Ban smiles. “Thank you Hanasaki San. That’s really nice of you to say.” He says as Tsubomi nods.

“Yep..if anything I’m the one who should grow more soon.” Tsubomi says as she frowns as Ban frowns at her. “Now why do you say that?” He questions as Tsubomi sighs. “I just..I don’t think I’ve really accomplished my goal when I first came to this school. I wanted a fresh start to be more open and confident and not be as shy. But I’m still shy and nowhere near as confident as Erika or Itsuki.” Tsubomi says as Ban chuckles.

“I think you're giving yourself credit. You have grown, Hanasaki. In class you're more willing to answer questions, to read out loud and I mean I don't know much about it but in the fashion club I always hear how loud you and Kurumi San are with your ideas. I don’t think the shyer you from the start of the year would be able to do that.” He says with a smile as Tsubomi looks up to him and blushes but smiles. “Thank you Ban San. I guess you have a point. It’s like my grandmother told me once, “the greatest enemy in your life is your own self. But beating it will help you grow.” Or so she says.” Tsubomi says as Ban chuckles.

“Those are words of advice. But ones I’ll try to live by.” He says as the two keep walking a few more feet as they reach Ban’s house. “Well this is my stop. Thank you so much for helping me to stay dry, Hanasaki San. You're a real pal,” Ban says as Tsubomi blushes. “I um of course Ban San but umm if you want since we're friends you can call me Tsubomi. If you want!” Tsubomi says as she blushes a bit as the boy nods. “Okay Tsubomi. As long as you just call me Ban since we’re friends.” He says with a smile as Tsubomi nods.

“Of course Ban.” Tsubomi says with a blush as the boy nods. “Well I should get inside. Good luck with getting home. Hopefully it won’t be too bad for you. And since you helped me I promise when I get my next chapter done I’ll show you. And only you this time. My treat.” He says as Tsubomi smiles. “Sounds like a plan! Thank you Ban!” Tsubomi says, as he waves her goodbye as he enters his home.

Once inside the girl sighs but smiles and begins to walk home. Before she hears feet moving behind her as she looks to see the smiling face of a blue haired girl. “E..Erika?” Tsubomi questions in shock as she smiles. “I see someone has a new crush. Didn’t expect Ban Kun but I guess it fits. And also explains why you didn't wait for me back at school.” Erika says with a smirk as Tsubomi blushes.

Erika! I don’t like Ban that way! He’s just a friend!” Tsubomi yells as Erika rolls her eyes and sighs. “Sure sure. Just tell me about it on the way home.” Erika says as Tsubomi blushes mad as she and her begin the long trek home with equal amounts of difficulty and awkwardness for Tsubomi. Yet even that is not enough to dampen a slight smile she has from her talk with Ban.

So then..this fic probably needs to be explained a bit. Firstly I should say that I am a massive fan of the characters I got to work with here. Tsubomi is one of my favorite pinks even if others I fine more fulfilling to me at least and Ban well he is a treasure. One of my favorite secondary characters in the whole franchise and one of the better male characters. He won my heart by being such a loving and kind dude who despite his tall imposing look is actually the sweetest guy in the show. And one who loves to make stories with magical girls.

I think we can see the reasons why I would feel connected to him. But besides that I just loved Tsubomi and him interacting since day 1. The joke of Tsubomi, this absolute wallflower who's timid and shy, being the only one to not fear this imposing man was not only fun but extremely sweet. But I also loved the dynamic between more them more so because of their growth and how their arcs have similar feels to them with them slowly growing and changing as the season progresses. And even some of the early Tsubomi lonerness being reflect in Ban's own feelings early on.

As such making a fic for them was a no brainier. As for the idea this has been in my head for no joke years. Like since I first watched Heart Catch back in early 2021. Namely due to liking them as a couple and really loving this adorable picture I found online that inspired the under the umbrella idea with Tsubomi holding it up on her tippy toes for him with the sweetest smile on her face.

It made me happy to no end so finally getting to write this makes me so happy! So I hope you enjoyed it! As for next time I am unsure what I want really to do but I know it will be fun and I hope you look forward and enjoy! And as always have a nice day!

Chapter 8: Thank You For All The Smiles

Summary:

Post the Story "Part of the Team", as Ayumi and Miyuki walk home from their long day and party with Ayumi expressing her thankfulness for Miyuki supporting her as much as she has.

Welp this one is not only a short one but one I wanna explain a bit. You see this fic was originally a variation I had on how to end my fic, Part of the Team.

The one where I made the (Better) choice to have Ayumi end up moving to the Smile City and joining up with the girls by becoming their sixth ranger as Cure Echo once more.

But as you can see with the tag for who she's shipped with I changed my mind and I will get to that after the story. For those of you reading this without much insight into the story I think I explain everything well enough but if you want you can read the story I have on my account!

It's a pretty decent early one from me so I think it'd be fun to read it before hand. But again it's not required and most information important to it is in the text. So with that said I hope you enjoy!

It had been an interesting day for Ayumi. She came into the day feeling a bit worried but also happy to have moved closer to her friends in the Smile Pretty Cures. But she didn’t expect to be able to bond with them, fight with them and regain her former role as Cure Echo.

That most especially since as much as it hurt to think she thought her time as a pretty cure was a one and done thing. A means to help her first and dearest friend and in turn growing to make new friends.

And sure she did at her old school like Ai Chan and Tomo Kun who were her close friends at school. To even people in her town like another student she saw working at a convenience store named Tallulah Chan.

But with those friends, she knew this side of her that couldn't be shared. I mean they were regular people not children of prophecy as fun as that would be. And so she never could share in her fairy partners or her brief but fun time as a pretty cure.

But even then she knew that was just a one time thing. Or so she thought until that crazy witch and her potion sent a rampaging werewolf after her and Miyuki. Ahh, speaking of that, Miyuki San was her light today.

She was the one who encouraged her, made her feel belonged, and even helped to push her to save her life by becoming Cure Echo again. Ayumi cared not for the power but more so the ability to help her friend and that feeling made her smile so brightly. Almost as brightly as when she went to a party with Miyuki and the others.

A party to invite her into their town and as she’d learn there to invite her to join their team. It was a dream come true for the once cure loving fangirl. She loved the pretty cures with all her heart and dug into any media she could on them.

Yet getting to be on a team was so hard for her to grasp. It was scary for her since every time she blinked she’d felt that when she opened her eyes, she’d be back in Yokohama. With her father barely around, her mother uncaring to her feelings on moving, and her friendless and unsure where to go in life.

It scared her really to think everything that happened could be one bad dream. Yet soon she felt a warm touch as her sight was opened and saw a familiar doorway and looked to her right to see a smiling face.

“Okay Ayumi, I think this is your place. Right?” She questioned as Ayumi smiles. “Yes it is. Thank you for walking me home, Miyuki.” Ayumi says with a smile as Miyuki blushes.

“Ahh it was nothing I could leave a pretty girl like you to walk home alone especially since you're still new here.” Miyuki says trying to sound cool but Ayumi laughs at the attempt. Yet also smiles.

“Well thank you anyway Miyuki.” Ayumi says she feels an urge build in her as Miyuki smiles. “Of course. See ya tomorrow!” She says as she begins to walk off as Ayumi grabs her hand. As she does, Miyuki looks at the girl curiously. “What’s wrong Ayumi?” Miyuki says as Ayumi blushes and smiles.

“I wanted to give you something for just being the kindest friend to me today.” Ayumi says as Miyuki smiles. “Ahh thanks but I don’t need any reward for helping a friend.” Miyuki says as Ayumi smiles. “But I insist. Here.” She says as she kisses Miyuki on the cheek.

As she does, Miyuki's eyes go wide as she smiles brighter than before. “Wow..thank you Ayumi.” Miyuki says as Ayumi smiles. “You're welcome. Now please be careful getting home and I’ll see you tomorrow.” She says as Miyuki smiles.

“Will do!” Miyuki says as she walks away but nearly falls a few times seemingly out of it as Ayumi smiles but blushes a bit. “Wow, didn't know you had it in you.” Gafurun says as he and Enen let their heads out of the bag. “I agree, was it okay to kiss Miyuki like that?” He questions as Ayumi smiles.

“Well she was smiling so I think she was fine. Besides, it's the least I could do after the day I had with her and the others. And I can’t wait to have more days with everyone.” Ayumi says as her fairies look and smile at their partner who seemed full of life and happier than ever as she entered her house.

So with this fic as you can see by the end, my original idea for Part of the Team was for Ayumi and Miyuki to start a romance that would build as time progressed.

Heck when thinking of the fic the original idea of Friends in Need (Which was very much in the beta stages) had her fighting Miyuki instead of Nico due to me wanting to ship them.

But as I wrote it more and more I decided romance with the Smile cast was not something I wanted to do. I found it more funny and cute to have them all be just friends without any hints of romance with any of the cast.

Although this does come down to my own..ah issues of choosing who to pair in the cast since I had no set ship I liked more or less.

However, the what if nature of this gave me the perfect chance to try something new and I am very happy with the results.

As for the story itself not much actually needs to be explain. Well besides the names for some of the people Ayumi knew in her old town.

Which is a reference to a certain friend of mine and I hope he's over the moon with that. More so it is for flavor text so it's nothing to read into but I figure why not throw him a bone!

Chapter 9: Nickname for my Boyfriend, Lun!

Summary:

Post Star Twinkle, in a word were Lala was able to keep going to school with the others as Lala tries to figure out a name for someone she cares for deeply as Hikaru is obliged to help her like any best friend would.

So um this one should be interesting. I am sure many saw the tags and either had the Star Lord, "Who?" reaction to him or had a really that guy response. But I assure you I have some methods to my madness! Kinda..with that said I hope you enjoy!

“Hmm..” A green haired girl thought as she sat at her desk in class. As she does a pink haired girl pops into her line of sight. “Lala? What’s wrong?” She questions but is ignored as the girl's expression goes even more contemplative. “Hmmm…” Lala hums as Hikaru frowns. “Lala? What’s wrong?” She questions even more concern but still nothing. “Hmmmm…” Lala says once more as Hikaru stands up. “LALA WHAT’S WRONG!?” Hikaru yells as Lala shakes and falls over.

“Oyo!” She yells as Hikaru soon blushes. “Ahh wops! Sorry Lala!” Hikaru says sheepishly as Lala blushes. “Hikaru, lun. Why did you scare me!” Lala yells as Hikaru sighs but soon frowns. “Because you were ignoring me and didn’t tell me what was wrong.” Hikaru says as Lala blushes.

“Oh..umm well..it’s about Karube.” Lala says as Hikaru gasps. “Oh no, did something happen between you two! He didn’t break up with you did he?” She says sadly as Lala frowns. “No..we're still together.” Lala says blushing as Hikaru smiles. “Aww cute!” Hikaru says as Lala nods.

It had been a few months since the day Lala had feared. After two years of knowing the boy and being at the cusp of high school starting, she had confessed to Karube. The boy she had been quite happy getting to know over the years, the one who was her close friend and first school friend besides Hikaru, and the first to support her as an alien with open arms.

Yes he was the one the young Sumerian fancied. And quite a bit. She loved his happy attitude, his easy going nature and his loving attitude. This on top of everything else made her love him from the bottom of her heart. And with her courage and the others’ supportive and pushy nature (thanks Yuni), she had confessed.

And luck smiled down onto the alien girl as he said the same to her. And two months later they were still dating. Which led Hikaru back to her question.

“So what’s wrong with him?” She questioned as Lala blushed. “I wanna give him a..” Lala says in a whisper as even Hikaru couldn’t hear it. “What was that?” Hikaru questions as Lala frowns. “I wanna give him a nickname like he gave me, Lun.” Lala says as Hikaru looks confused. “But he has one. It’s Karunori.” She says as Lala nods. “Yes but..that’s a nickname everyone uses. I wanna make my own. He was nice enough to give me one in the first place. So I wanna do the same to show my love, Lun” Lala says as Hikaru nods.

“Ahh I gotcha well let me help! Do you have any ideas so far?” Hikaru questions as Lala shakes her head. “No..I can’t think of anything.” Lala says as Hikaru smiles. “Okay let me brainstorm a few! Hmm Karube is his name so maybe Karubaby?” Hikaru questions.

“That’s too insulting.” Lala says as Hikaru nods. “Ahh okay maybe..Nori?” Hikaru says as Lala shakes her head. “It’s not unique enough, Lun.” Lala says as hikaru nods. “Ahh how about Kururun!” Hikaru says as Lala gives her a blank look. “Isn't that the same name as the tropical rouge teams fairy?” She questions as Hikaru blushes.

“Oh shoot sorry I had them on my mind..darn I can’t think of anything.” Hikaru says as Lala sighs. “It’s not your fault. It’s mine. I’m a terrible girlfriend. I just wanna make him have a nice nickname like he gave me. To make it special.” Lala says as Hikaru thinks.

“Hmmm maybe you can use your own as a basis. So his one for you is Lala Lun.” Hikaru says as Lala nods. “Oyo that’s a good idea hmmm.” Lala says as Hikaru smiles. “Kirayaba!” Hikaru says happily as Lala looks at her confused.

“Maybe you can have it be Karurbun?” Hikaru says as Lala thinks. “Hmm wait, maybe you're right but maybe Ahh I got it. Karur Bun!” Lala exclaims with joy. “There you go Lala! That’s perfect, I'm sure he’ll like it.” Hikaru says as the door to the class opens.

“Ahh safe..” Karube says as he breathes happily in relief as Lala stands up. “Oyo.” She says as Hikaru smiles. “Alright, you can do it!” Hikaru says as she playfully shoves Lala to her boyfriend.

“Oh hey Lala Lun! How’s my special girlfriend doing today?” He questions as Lala blushes. “I'm good Lun. But I wanted to tell you something. I..I wanted to tell you the nickname I thought up.” Lala says as he smiles. “Awe okay lay it on me!” He says as Lala nods.

“From now on I wanna call you, Karur Bun!” Lala says as he looks at her shocked as Lala feels her heart rate skyrocket before he takes her hand. “I love it! It’s so cool! Just what I’d expect from my out of this world girlfriend!” He says happy as Lala smiles.

“Lun! Anything for my boyfriend!” Lala says as he gives her a kiss on the check causing her to blush. “And I do the same for you Lala Lun!” He says as Lala smiles as Hikari watches on happily for her best friend and classmate happily in love.

So for this chapter I must admit that yes I wanted to do something different. With Lala I knew I wanted to have her Karube dating since it is a rather cute secondary relationship in Star Twinkle. And while I am a diehard fan of Lala x Hikaru as I would assume most people are within the fandom, I do like to do other ships every now and then. And why with Karube? Because as I said it's cute and he is adorable and lovable. He is alongside Himeojo for making the secondary cast of Star Twinkle one of the best in the series. But while Himeojo has a growth to her actions, Karube is just a bright positive star of joy and good vibes. He reminds me a lot of Kenta in that way but even more so due to his affectionate nicknaming. Which is where the idea for this fic came from since I love his nickname for Lala of Lalalun. So I wanted Lala to have one for him because why not?

So with that said I hope you enjoy! This is a probably the last really weird ship I have overall. The next few are more fun and goofy so I hope you look forward to it!

Chapter 10: Future kept in the Past! Romances are Possible!

Summary:

A certain robot girl now that she is trapped in the past with her father and the others, has grown concerned by Hana’s odd behaviors. Eventually deciding to investigate and make her tell her confession. And the outcome of which is what neither thought would happen. Mostly due to Ruru’s naive nature of crushes.

Notes:

Ahh so today we break out of the more so goofy ideas I had for ships and into one I actually was going to do originally like Ayumi x Miyuki in my Redemptive Verse. But I choose not to for reasons that should be clear but I will explain in the end notes section! With that said I hope you enjoy!

Ruru was a rather smart android girl. Sure she could have said it came from her programming, or even from her father. But she was not the one to wanna admit it. Instead she wanted to pride herself on this intelligence due to her own perceptions being rather good.

As such she could tell when friends were acting odd. Like Homare when she was crushing on Harry back when she was a villain. Like with Saaya when she saw the girl secretly getting competitive with Ruru on how to take care of the babies.

And even like Emiru with..most things in their times as best friends. Mostly due to the girls' very poor ability to lie. But someone who rivaled her was the girl she was currently about to stop living with. The one who helped her to redeem and become who she was now. The one she cared about dearly. Hana Nano.

Ever since she and the others from the future learned that time would not survive if they went back, thus leaving them trapped in the present day, she was acting weird. Hana was a rather..weird girl normally. She would overreact, she would fall randomly, she would lack grace any normal human should possess, and she would also have such a happy attitude about her life. It was weird..but it made Ruru happy.

Because Hana was someone who was weird but so likable to her. But now Hana was weirder. She was blushing madly around her, she was ignoring her when she knocked on her door to tell her about anything only to have Kotori get her out easily.

She wouldn’t even address anything about her unfortunate departure soon with her father to their new home. It..hurt the android girl. Why was Hana being this way? Did something occur? Was Ruru leaving making her upset? These thoughts echoed in her mind as she made up her mind as she remembered the bell of the school ring as Hana rushed out of class without any words to Ruru.

Yes it was the end of the day. And since it was Friday she knew where she and Hana would go. Beauty Harry was still their hangout spot after all. And this was when she had to confront her. Especially due to her continual weird behavior today as Ruru tried to observe her only for her to hide amongst Hinase San and Chise San during lunch.

As the robot girl made her way to the shop though she saw others also heading there. “Saaya. Homare.” Ruru says as the two turned to her as they smiled. “Hey Ruru. What’s up?” Homare questions as Saaya looked confused. “Where is Hana?” Saaya questioned as Ruru sighed. “She ran off before I could ask if she wanted to go to the shop together.” She says annoyed as Homare sighs.

“Of course.” She says as Saaya nods. “Well let’s go together then.” Saaya says as Ruru nods. Yet as they walked to the shop, Ruru looked at the others. “Are..you both upset that I choose to move in with my father?” She questions as Homare and Saaya look confused.

“What?” The two questioned as Homare frowned. “We're not mad. We’re happy for you. I mean we get to see you still everyday while you and your dad get to live happily close by together.” Homare says as Saaya nods.

“Yep. We are very happy this could happen after all that happened to you.” Saaya says as Ruru sighs. “I wish Hana felt that way. She’s been rather quiet and less supportive than normal. I think she is upset at me for leaving once more.” Ruru says as Homare placed a hand on her shoulder as the girl looked at the taller girl.

“Hey now don’t get down. This is probably just a misunderstanding. Hana lo..cares about you a lot. I’m sure she’d be sad but I don’t think that’s why she’s acting like this.” Homare says as Ruru sighs as Homare and Saaya exchange a nervous and apologetic response as they look down to Ruru.

“I wish I’d know the reason then.” Ruru says as Saaya perks up. “Maybe you should confess how you feel.” She says before Homare glares at her as she places a hand on her mouth. Ruru, however, only looks to the sky as a smile appears.

“Yes, maybe it is better to just be forward with Hana about how I feel. Thank you..guys?” She says as she throws up a questioning look seeing the two panic before smiling. “Did I say something wrong?” She questions with a cute robotic head tilt as Homare giggles.

“Oh um no don’t worry! We were worried because we thought you were uhh mad Hana.” Homare says as the robot girl looks and nods. “Affirmative. But I am not mad at her. More so confused but now I should be able to sort it out. Shall we go now?” She questions as the two nod as she leads the way, all the while Saaya and Homare sighed in relief she didn’t catch their slip ups.

As they get to Beauty Harry they can already hear Emiru’s voice echo through the trees. An annoying side effect of being the youngest of the group which was something that Ruru adored about her best friend. Yet soon she’d hear another voice as her hearing picked up on it. “But what do I say to her, if I tell her the truth she’ll think I’m a freak.” Hana says as another voice perks up.

“Hey don’t say that. What you feel is nothing wrong or bad. It’s perfectly natural. Especially in the future since I’m the one in my tribe for swinging the “normal” way.” Harry says as Ruru frowns as she soon opens the door. “Hana?” Ruru says as she opens the door as Emiru and Harry tense up as Hana freaks out. “Mechoku!” Hana yells as Ruru approaches her.

“Hana what is the matter?” She questions as Hana blushes and starts to tip toe around her till Ruru grabs her and lifts her with her robot strength. “Ahh! Ruru put me down!” Hana yells as Ruru turns to the others, all of whom look confused and shocked.

“I’m going to talk with Hana alone. I promise we will be back shortly.” Ruru says as she opens the door and walks out carrying a freaking out Hana on her back as the other four look on in shock. “Well now she has to confess.” Homare says as the others all nod.

Meanwhile, now in the woods outside of Beauty Harry, Ruru pins Hana to a tree. “Ahh Ruru..” Hana says as Ruru gives her a stoic look. “Hana, your behavior lately has been confusing and rather disturbing. I wish for you to explain why you have been acting like that. And I will keep you out here as long as it takes.” Ruru says slightly threateningly as Hana blushes.

“I umm well I umm..” Hana says as Ruru looks at her intently. “I..I don’t want you to leave..because I like you living with me because..I like you!” Hana says as Ruru expression shifts as she gives a puzzled look. “That is your reason? I’m confused. I thought you said how you felt would make me think of you as a freak. Why would you think that about liking me? I like you as well.” Ruru says as Hana blushes.

“Well the truth is Ruru I love you..” Hana says blushing as Ruru nods. “And I do as well.” Ruru says as Hana sighs. “No..I..oh geez why me..Ruru I love you like how my mom loves my dad.” Hana says as Ruru looks at her as her mind plays images of Hana’s parents. As she does she looks confused. “But is that not improper for two girls?” She questions as Hana sighs. “I figure you would say that. I’m sorry I shouldn’t have said it.” Hana says as Ruru frowns.

“I do not care much for what is proper if you don’t. I would not mind being in such a relationship with you. You're my friend after all and someone I love.” Ruru says as Hana blushes. “You really don’t? You don’t think I’m a freak for liking you romantically?” Hana questions as Ruru smiles.

“Nothing in the world could make me feel that way about you. You're my friend and the one who’s helped me so much. Aside from Emiru I feel you're my closest friend. And she is my little sister. As such I suppose you being my girlfriend would be nice.” Ruru says as Hana blushes like mad.

“Wow, I'm still trying to process this. You love me romantically?” Hana questions as Ruru smiles. “I do. So now shall we partake in the romantic rituals?” Ruru questions as Hana looks confused. “What kind do you think we should do?” Hana questions as Ruru smiles before kissing Hana on the lips as the girl’s eyes go wide with shock as Ruru keeps it up for a while. Once she finished, Ruru smiled.

“That was invigorating! My sensors are rather intense with joy! How did you feel..Hana?” Ruru says as her smile fades as Ruru looks to see Hana unconscious. “Oh dear did I kiss her too hard? Oh well I suppose I can resuscitate her at Beauty Harry. Also about our new relationship. I’m sure the others will be quite shocked.” Ruru says happily as she picks up Hana and carries her on her back as she heads to Beauty Harry for a fun and awkward conversation on why Hana is unconscious.

So yeah about Hana x Ruru. I really love this paring and am shocked it isn't more popular but I guess I blame Emiru and Ruru's dynamic being scene as romantic being the cause.

Still I love these two as they have everything that makes a cute pink and redemptive relationship. And since Hana and Ruru are two of my absolute favorites of this trope so of course I would pair them together!

But my love of characters in shows with stated crushes on main heroes I.E Hinase overruled that especially since I think it's sweet for Hana to marry him and actually have a husband who won't destroy the world (*Throws knife at the George picture I have on the wall with many knife holes already covering it)

Anyway I do hope you enjoyed my goofy take on Ruru and Hana's dynamic ! I know I did as it kinda reminded me of another anime I am super in love with for it's yuri power couple.

And heck in that show one technically was suppose to kill the other so I guess it fits with Ruru to. Hmmm..I wonder how Momo would react to Ruru..food for thought.

Chapter 11: My Charm Always Works

Summary:

During episode 13 when Kiriya interacts with Nagisa after school. Only this time, Nagisa falls for his charms as he targets some clear insecurities in her relationships with her crush.

So umm this one is a weird one to do on Thanksgiving but I do have explanation of shorts for my madness! Also sorry about the tag removals turns out with as many as I have done I reached the limit (Damn you sexy time fic for making that a thing!) but I can at least make one tag for now for each so that's nice. With that said as always I hope you enjoy!

Nagisa walked down the common sidewalks and houses on her way home from school. It had been a rather normal day all things considered for the girl. Namely with the new transfer student to their school. And despite the girls all going gaga for him Nagisa was not too terribly impressed.

I mean he was nice looking, she wouldn’t lie and he was rather cool for playing soccer on par with their school's team. But during that match she had eyes only for one boy. A boy whom she soon imagined smiling at her with dazzling white teeth and incredibly bright eyes. It was marvelous, it was incredible, it was..

THUD! Distracting for the poor girl as she soon collided with a sign and fell to the ground, her book back landed off her as papers flew around her. As she sat there dazed, the white sheets of paper soon altered her as she gasped. “Ahh no! Not my notes! I need that! And Honoka will kill me if I lose them!” Nagisa yells as she stands and tries to catch the various pieces flying around her.

As she did though a gust of wind soon surrounded her as she looked to her right to see a familiar figure with the collected remaining sheets. “Hello Misumi Senpai. It seems you dropped these.” Kiriya says rather kindly but also slightly cool as Nagisa chuckled nervously. “Ahh uh thank you!” Nagisa yells as she takes the papers and quickly shoves them in her bag as she sighs in relief.

“Thank god you got those. I’d have been sunk without my notes from Honoka.” Nagisa says as the boy nods and smiles to her. “Of course. Although why did you hit a sign?” He questions as Nagisa blushes. “Oh um I kinda was thinking of stuff and got distracted. But I swear I’m not normally this clumsy!” Nagisa says as a defense. Normally everyone in her life, even Honoka, would view her as a bit of a klutz so she hoped this lie would stop Kiriya from thinking of her as such. Although she also blushed mentally on why she cared what he would think.

Yet he nods to her with an understanding look. “I see. Well from what I heard that certainly is not normally the case. You probably had a moment of forgetfulness. It happens to the best of us.” He says as Nagisa smiles. “Aww well thanks Kiriya San.” She says as the boy smiles. “Please call me Kiriya. Honorifics are not needed when talking to fellow athletes. If you want, that is.” He says kindly as Nagisa nods.

“Right.” She says as she blushes a little as her heart starts to beat. But why? Normally she only feels this way when, Fujipi Senpai..talks to her. Regardless, she soon shakes her head. “Ahh I see Kiriya..um how did you know I was an athlete though?” She questions as she smiles.

“Ahh did Fujipi Senpai mention me?” She says as she can visually see her crush doing so. After all he seemed to know she was someone on his level even if they had not talked much. As she thought that way a smile crossed the boy's face as he soon frowned.

“Not particularly. Why does he know you well?” He questions as Nagisa feels her heart crack a bit at that delivery but sighs. “Oh um no reason.” She says disappointed as Kiriya smiles. “Actually I mostly heard of you from watching one of your practices. When I first came to the school with my family to see it and get attended to by the principal.” He says as Nagisa nods.

“Ahh I see.” Nagisa says as the boy smiles. “It was quite amazing to watch. You move so strong, fast and yet so beautiful as well. Honestly, you're kinda inspiring with my own sports training.” He says as Nagisa feels her heart beat faster as she blushes.

“You..you don’t say..I um haha thank you. I think you moved really cool out there today at practice.” She said as the boy smiled kindly. “Thank you, Nagisa Senpai..or should I call you Nagisa?” He says with a cute smile as Nagisa now felt herself looking at the boy. He was shorter and slimmer to Fujipi but also had a rather handsome face and really cool hair with the green really bringing out his complexion.

It had an ethereal glow to it that made her captivated as she looked more and more. Overall, he was much more handsome than she first thought as she blushed at him calling her by her first name. Not even Fujipi did that! So as she looked at him, she soon started to mutter before speaking.

“Ahh yes!” She says as she blurts it out as the boy strangely just happy. “Awesome. Well I should be going. Although I did wanna ask. Would you care to go to the local stand after school? I hear it’s delicious, especially their Takoyaki.” He says as Nagisa smiles.

“Ahh you mean Akane’s shop? Of course! I love her Takoyaki. It's like my favorite thing in the world!” She says as Kiriya smiles. “Wow, funny, we have the same taste it seems. I love Takoyaki as well.” He says as Nagisa smiles overjoyed as she grabs his hands. “Heck ya that sounds awesome then we should totally do it and..” Nagisa says as she soon realizes she grabbed the boy's hands as he looks at her a bit surprised as Nagisa blushes before letting go.

“Uh but yeah we should! Umm here here is my phone number if you ever wanna call and um when you wanna go we can!” Nagisa says as she writes down her number onto a piece of paper as Kiriya takes it happily and puts it in his pocket. “Excellent. Thank you Nagisa. I hope you have a nice night. And I’ll see you around at school.” Kiriya says before he walks off leaving Nagisa standing there.

The poor girl's heart was still beating faster than ever and her blush was still obviously showing as a certain phone perked up. “It seems someone has a crush.” Mepple says knowingly as Nagisa blushes. “I umm uhh no way that’s..Arienai! How do I now have two crushes!” Nagisa yells as her fairy partner giggles. Yet internally the fairy hopes this would go better than her former crush. At least this Kiriya guy seemed interested in her so maybe Nagisa was gonna be happier with him.

Meanwhile, within a park area the boy smiles at the number as he soon frowns as a familiar figure appears next to him. “I see your charm worked on Cure Black.” She says as Kiriya smiles. “Seems like it.” He says as his sister sighs. “What are you doing here though? The Pretty Cures are my fight.” She says as Kiriya nods.

“I know but after they beat up the other, I suppose you could say I was interested in them. Especially after looking into your notes. So I decided to spy on them while I am here.” He says as she sighs. “As long as you feed me that information it’s fine for you to remain here. But don’t get too attached to that girl now. I don’t want my little brother betraying us and being killed for it.” She says he frowns.

“As if Posiony. That Nagisa girl is nothing but a fool I wish to play with. And once I get here where I need her then you can make the final moves. Anyway I’ll see you back home. I wanna rest a bit.” He says as he teleports back to the Dark Zone.

Once he does he looks into the void of darkness and clouds around him and sighs already missing the light of the Garden of Light. But it doesn't matter. Right now he needs to stop thinking of it and of Cure Black. Ever since his hand was grabbed by him his chest beat faster. It was why he left in such a rush. But it’s not like he likes her..no she is a pawn in his and his sister's game to get what they need for their master.

Nothing more nothing less. At least subconsciously he hoped given his sister's threat. Still looking one last time at the scribbling of numbers made the boy slightly blush before he placed it into his shorts pocket and jumped down into the void below him without a second thought.

So um NagiKiro or however you would call it. Where did this come from? Well as I have said before my first season of the show I watched was Futari Wa Pretty Cure. Namely the dub but I digress with that for now. Anyway the idea for shipping the two came from how I thought Kiriya was gonna pull a love triangle on Nagisa and Fujipi's little thingy. Especially due to his appearance in episode 13 with him when seeing Honoka's presentation. Also because I am shocked his attempt to flirt with her did not work at all given how bad Nagisa is with her crushes.

So I decided to do something different and make it happen! Also as always showing the buried good within Kiriya from Nagisa's affection! As well as him and his sister pre redemptions and white hole being as antagonistic as ever.

Chapter 12: Dancing in your Eyes

Summary:

Set during the events of the episode 20 dance between the girls and the males of the season, as Amane thinks to the girls she is dancing with and makes her move to show her appreciation!

And thus Thanksgiving came and went with me finishing a fic a lot later than I wanted and a lot shorter but I hope you still enjoy! The next one should be normal length for these one shots! With that said enjoy!

Amane life has been interesting these last few months. It all started when one morning she awoke feeling tired. Less like herself than normal but even at school while keeping a straight face, she was confused by it. And soon that feeling kept going on and on day in and day out.

Eventually she heard a voice speak to her, annoyed at going to school, annoyed to not spend all her time hunting for food for her master. This voice was scary as while it spoke softly it had no emotion behind it. And it was her voice just in a very different tone. All this hurt her and made her feel uncomfortable within her own body.

And then she’d start to feel less in control. For brief times she would appear to look into her eyes and see her body move on its own. And it became worse and worse as time progressed. It made her scared and think she was going mad.

Yet..soon voices spoke to her. It started with a pink haired girl with a rice theme. Then a yellow haired girl with a ramen theme. And finally a blue haired girl with a bread theme. They seemed to want her, they wanted her to be freed. And soon she wanted it to. She called out to them and wanted to help her.

And soon she awoke from the dream. She was saved by the Pretty Cures. By Yui, Ran and..Kokone. It delights her and yet makes her feel such guilt for her crimes as Gentle. But such guilt leads to a flame of redemption and desire to break free.

To help and be the strong hero the girls had become. And she did it! With her love for Parfait and her desire to protect it and others' smiles. It turned her into Cure Finale and with this power she could be with them.

They had now become friends! And today was the culmination of that. The event which led to her doubting the others a bit. For their bad manners and lack of etiquette.

It managed to make her embarrassed and yet another of them like her showed her that wasn’t impossible to fix. She helped her and gave her such confidence on this day. Confidence to fight Narsitoru’s monster with her, with Cure Spicy, with Kokone.

Kokone..just hearing her name and thinking of her voice made the black haired girl blush. Such a radiant and beautiful girl and one with such kindness and grace she was like a princess. Someone Amane wished to be friends with and maybe something more.

But for today..on this day as the battle ended, she and her friends along with her brothers and Yui’s friend Takumi. They all had fun. They all danced and enjoyed their time. But for Amane she was delighted because she got to dance. And dance with the girl she cared about the most now.

The two danced in rhythm and perfect harmony. Their movements were in sync as they smiled and looked into each other's eyes. Unlike the red eyes she showed when she was brainwashed, when she was gentle, her eyes now shone its true color of a brilliant blue.

It made her happy to show herself. And yet she saw Kokone’s and they were just as radiant. Such beautiful orbs of green, that shone like the blades of grass on a rainy day. So full of life, so full of love for her and her friends.

This was what she wanted. And so she smiled and moved closer and layed down her lips on her friend's own. The warmth and joy of it caused her heart to shore into the sky and caused both to blush. But as she broke Kokone smiled at her and that reassured the girl's choice.

As the two kept dancing in sync with now all their friends, and few family cheering them on happily for the new romance forming. One that certainly would leave a Delicious Smile as Yui called it on both faces of both of the happy girls.

So for this chapter I knew I wanted to do something with Delicious Party as I did just celebrate last week with it's episodes and finally watching the movie for the first time

For everyone who has wonder why Cait Sith was not mentioned till now that is the reason and I am slowly beating myself up about that.

As such I was wondering who to do before this gorgeous moment hit my memories and I was like yep. No reason to not do this episode as the setting for this ship!

It's ironic cause this is the third time we have a ship that originally was gonna be what I went with but soon changed. And rather recently with these two.

Namely that unlike the obvious Takumi x Yui, I didn't know who to ship out of Amane, Kokone, or Ran. And both episodes that had her bound with both did not help! (Seriously both were Yuri as fuck)

But with that said I settled on Amane x Ran for my series, so this was my bone and chance to write Amane x Kokone so I hope you liked that!

I know I am still reeling and laughing from using a certain terms to describe eyes that people really hate on this and other sites (For some reason IDK) but it is hilarious and I wanted to so yeah!

As said next time will be longer and a bit more jokey if I may say so myself given the idea behind it especially how the two will confess. Regardless I hope you have a nice day as always and take care!

Chapter 13: Keeping Her in Top Form

Summary:

Post Splash Star episode 35, as Saki is enjoying a night at home after the hard day she had with the tournament. Before a knock at the door has her converse with an old friend in a way he is best at.

So yeah sorry I didn't post yesterday or Saturday with a new chapter! I wanted to get out the first chapter of my new fic and so I kinda didn't get time to write up a new chapter. But here I am with a new one and one that's a little funny in hindsight but with that said I hope you enjoy and look out for my end notes!

As a light shines into a dark bedroom a girl moves to her bed stumbling a bit as she lays her back flat onto it. As she does the little light in the room shines on her orange hair and the tired look she has. One that a creature who appears from a blue smoke ball frowns at. “I think you overdid it with that run home, Lapi.” Floppy says as Saki frowns. “Ahh no I am good..just a little out of it. And fighting that Kentoluski guy.” She says as her fairy rolls his eyes.

“His name is Kintoleski. I thought you finally getting it right with Ms. Shittari was a sign of you finally learning to say their names right. Guess I was wrong.” He jokes as she puffs her face. “Hey it’s not my fault his name is hard to remember or any of them. Besides, I hope I can make him mad with it after what he said at my game.” Saki says as the fairy nods.

“Agreed. He was a jerk today. Well he always is but today he was really going too far. Especially when he attacked while you were still sad ” Floppy says with anger as Saki smiles and sits up and lays the creature on her lap and pats him.

“Thanks Floppy. I am glad I have you, Choppi, Moop, Foop, and Mai with me. Without you guys I don't know how many of these battles I could take. Especially after all we have been through and the people we..lost.” Saki says as she briefly thinks of two smiling faces with blue and red hair as she soon shakes her memories away. She didn’t need to be reminded of that! She had enough to cry over tonight.

Yet soon she heard a voice yell down. “Oneechan! Kenta Oneesan is here to see you!” Minori calls down as Saki and Choppy look confused as Saki nods. “Okay Minori, be down in a second!” Saki yells to her sister as she looks at the fairy.

“What do you think he wants?” He questions as Saki shakes her head. “Don’t know..but I shouldn't keep him waiting. If I do, he'll only have more time to think of a dumb joke.” Saki says as Choppy chuckles.

“On that note I don’t wanna come down. I hate his jokes.” He says as Saki sighs. “Gee thanks for making me face them alone. You're such a good partner.” Saki says sarcastically before he closes up and stops speaking as Saki giggles a bit and then leaves her room.

Once down stairs she sees the door opened as Minori stands there talking to Kenta. His hair is done in its normal way and he’s wearing his typical red t-shirt and blue jacket he wears when it gets colder out like it was tonight. As he sees Saki he smiles.

“Oh Minori, here she is. Thanks for calling her for me.” Kenta says as she nods. “Of course, have fun talking to her Kenta Oneechan!” Minori says as Saki nods to her as she runs off to do whatever she normally does.

As Saki faces him she smiles a bit. “Sorry if she was talking your ear off.” Saki says as the boy shakes his head. “Naw, she was just listening to some of my jokes and laughing at them unlike some people I know with no sense of comedy.” Kenta says as Saki rolls her eyes.

“Really? So I guess everyone in the world besides you and Minori have a bad sense of humor.” Saki claps back as the boy sighs and chuckles a little. As he does, Saki looks at him.

“So what’s going on? You normally don’t come to my house unless something is wrong.” Saki says. She normally never sees her childhood friend come by anymore. When they were kids he’d come by all the time but once they started middle school it became harder.

Especially when Saki took up Softball as her #1 hobby while Kenta, bless his soul, could never be as good and so never picked it up. Still she appreciated him being in the crowd cheering her on. Although as she thought of this and saw his face she started to piece together why he was here.

“Are you here because of the game today?” She questions as he looks and nods. “Yeah..I watched today like normal. And got kinda fired up alot defending you from a rude guy in a gray hoodie watching who kept commenting on your match and everything you did wrong. Kinda creepy to be honest given he seemed to be studying you.” Kenta says as Saki sighs.

So that’s why he knew where she was. He was spying on her. Great another thing to worry about with these Dark Fall creeps. Still Saki soon smiled at the boy. “Thanks for sticking up for me. But I can’t say my match today was the best. But hey there is always next year!” Saki says with a bit more energy as Kenta nods.
“Good to see you're not put out by it..but I just wanted to say..” Kenta says as Saki looks at him as he smiles.

“You played awesome today as always. We're lucky to have you as our captain and a student at our school. And no matter who says what about you just know..your old buddy Kenta will be cheering you on. No matter what. Especially next year when I know you'll be in Top Form and take down anyone in the way of the championship.” Kenta says with a fiery passion and yet genuine kindness as Saki’s heart warms her whole body. As she feels this she smiles a smile as bright as the sun.

“Thanks Kenta. I promise I will do my best to be in Top Form next year and bring us all a victory!” Saki says excited as Kenta looks relieved and smiles. “Glad to hear it! Anyway..I was just stopping by so I should get going soon. Mom might be mad at me for making her wait.” Kenta says as Saki nods. “I gotcha. Have a good night Kenta and…” Saki says as she blushes a bit but moves closer as her lips kiss him on the cheek. Causing the boy to blush massively as Saki smiles.

“Thanks for being one of my best friends.” Saki says as Kenta smiles and nods. “Ahh..oh course! Hehe see ya to Saki!” He says as he stumbles a bit but soon walks away laughing in joy and smiling all the way. As Saki closes the door though she hears giggling as she turns to see Minori smiling.

“Does this mean you and Kenta Oneechan are a couple?” Minori questions both innocently and happily as Saki blushes and sighs. “Ahh Minori! Don’t eavesdrop like that! Plus I don’t like him like that..he’s just a friend.” Saki says badly, hiding her feelings as Minori frowns.

“Aww I thought that meant you did.” She says as she soon moves away apparently believing Saki’s bad lie as the girl sighs before walking back to her room. Today has not been a great day for the young softball player. It was the first time she felt general defeat in her time as an athlete.

And yet it did mean a lot to her to take in the failures of the day. But even more so it meant a lot to her to have Mai, Choppy, Floppy, Moop, Foop, and yes even Kenta, in her life. Cheering her on and keeping her in top form.

I hope you like this fic cause I know I had some fun with it! The inspiration for this ship namely comes from my old love for this ship. Before I shipped Saki x Michiru, I loved or at least like Kenta x Saki before the show made it clear it would not happen. And to be fair I am at least happy in Otona that Kenta got with Outa in the future.

But as for this fic it came to me due to having watched episode 35 of Splash Star a while back and really wanting to do something with it. And given he was in the episode and supported Saki I figured why not!

Also to make some Splash Star jokes and once again show how fun Splash Star is. I love writing Saki and Floppy's interactions and their love / support for each other. As well as their playful jabs at one another.

Also also I loved giving Saki a name she calls Kintoleski like with Kiripan and all her names for Ms.Shittari. It's something cute that has always made me love Saki.

But with that said next time will be a bit in line with Otona as well in a way and I am looking forward to it so I hope you'll enjoy! Hope you as always have a nice day!

Chapter 14: A Love of Knowledge, Teaching, and Drinking?

Summary:

Post ending of Mahou Tsukai but before the 1 year gap, as Solciere has taken up a role as a teacher at the academy. And interacts with a fellow teacher during a night on the town as she learns to love more than just being a teacher during this fun and slightly goofy night.

And here we are my friends! Yet another in the wheelhouse I call my insane ideas! Naturally my insanity with Solcière is pretty known by now given who else I paired her with but I do think this ship while not my favorite of the two (PHANSORC for LIFE!) is still cute and I wanna show it off! With that said I hope you enjoy!

Shoes clack down the hallway of the magical academy as a certain professor is seen walking back to the teacher dorms. She has many books within her arms and yet an oddly tired expression. Her long magenta hair looked rather prim and proper as the rest of her looked but also rather dusty from a day of working with students in the field. Some of them made some explosions occurring during an elemental magic lesson resulting in the dust that covered the women’s outfit.

Still she relished that tonight was Friday meaning that she could relax tonight with a good book and a nice cup of tea. Said thoughts cause her to smile just a bit as she keeps walking down the empty halls. That is till till she encounters her own door and the one across from it as the person in said room leaves. The woman has rather shiny blue hair and a rather pretty green and white uniform. As she walks out she perks up seeing the magician.

“ Solcière! Just the women I wanted to see!” Liz says as she smiles. “Good evening to you, Liz Sensei. What did you wish to ask me about?” The witch asks as she quickly opens her door and places her books onto a shelf at the wall near the door before turning to the women.

“Oh you don’t have to call me Sensei right now. Like you I’m off duty so please just call me Liz.” She says kindly as the witch nods. “I see very well Liz, what is it you wish to ask me about?” The woman questions as Liz smiles.

“Well since it’s Friday night I wanted to ask if you’d accompany me to the pub down in the shopping district.” She says as the witch gives a confused look. “Whatever for?” She questions as Liz smiles.

“So we can hang out and drink together. It’s something I tend to do with my friend Laurenita but she is busy this weekend. So I figured I’d invite you since we are roommates.” She jokes as the witch gives a little smile to that.

When she first came and moved into the dorms, Liz was her guide and one who she was excited to learn would be rooming next door to her. Calling them roommates was a cute thing she did then and one she was glad to hear. Still as she thought of the proposition she felt conflicted.

“I never really go out to the pub. Are you sure you would want me to go with you?” She questions as Liz smiles. “Of course. It’s always fun to go with friends no matter what!” Liz says with a smile as the witch blushes a bit.

“Oh well in that case..I’d love to go. But can you wait for me to get cleaned up a bit. My day was rather messy.” She says blushing a bit at looking like a mess in front of a fellow teacher as Liz smiles. “Sure thing. The sun isn’t even set yet so maybe once it does we can head out?” She says as the witch nods with Liz's smile.

“Well then it’s a date.” She says as she soon closes the door behind her as the witch smiles. Although she also seemingly moves a bit nervously as she gets ready.

This was her first time hanging out with someone her own age in some time. And she’d rather not look like a fool. So she got cleaned as best as she could and soon put on a rather pretty outfit she had been waiting to wear.

She normally wouldn’t wear anything besides her witch outfit she grew so fond of, but today she wanted to try something out as she soon smiled at her reflection in a mirror.

Her magenta hair shining nicely after drying from her bath and her outfit reflected that being a simple black button up shirt and white skirt along with her black boots. It was an outfit she did like for the colors and simplicity.

As such she walked out with a smile on her face. Only to lose it to a massive blush once she saw Liz in her outfit. It was simple as well being a beautiful sleeveless purple dress with an adorable pair of black heels.

It seemed purple and black ran in the family only now it made her heart beat fast instead of a simple smile at the cuteness. As Liz saw her she smiled. “Aww you look good, Solcière. How do I look?” Liz says as the woman blushes. “You look rather beautiful Liz. Although I fear I might be underdressed.” Solcière says as Liz looks at her and frowns a bit.

“I don’t think that’s the case but if you want you can borrow one of my dresses. You seem to be my size if a bit skinnier. Maybe this will be nicer on you?” She questions as with a quick spell a new dress appears in her hands which she hands to the girl.

She nods as she decides to change into it and soon comes out as Liz smiles. It was white and black as before only now with a look of a black dress with a white colored uniform collar at the top but no sleeves as the woman awkwardly held her arms behind her. As she looks at her Liz smiles. “You look great! Let’s get going!” Liz says as she soon pulls the girl by the hand as she blushes but nods.

The walk or fly to the shop wasn’t too eventful besides the women trying her best to cover up her pale skinned arms now exposed for all to see. Yet as she flew she did have to say the dress was amazing in quality. So much so she decided to speak up once they got into the pub and sat down both together.

“Liz..this dress is rather comfortable and very soft. Who did you buy this from?” Solcière questions still a bit unsure to not use any honorifics to her friends name. Liz however nods.

“Ahh well I bought it from François San’s shop. He’s quite the artistic creator and most of the clothes I own come from his boutique.” Liz says as the witch nods. “I have heard of him in my travels, and especially so due to students referring to him as the one who fixed up uniforms they ripped in broom riding.” Solcière says Liz nods.

“Yep he’s the best in the business. Although speaking of travels, what kinda places did you travel before you came here?” She questions as the witch blushes a bit as she frowns. “Oh I’m not too familiar with any place. Myself and..Trauma simply went around collecting ingredients for our spell without any interaction or cultural insights.” She says as Liz frowns.

“Ugh right. I’m sorry you ever had to work with that creep. Riko told me what happened before she recommended you to the headmaster. And honestly it disgusted me to hear him use you and my sister as well as her friends.” Liz says as the woman smiles a bit at the sibling love she felt yet also frowns a bit.

“I admit to being partially to blame for your sister and her friends' situation. It was my fault for trying to get what I wanted back then, without thinking of others.” Solcière says as Liz frowns and places a hand on her own.

“ Solcière. You didn’t do anything wrong that you have not made up for and then some. Without your song, my sister and Mirai would have died as well as who knows how many more people if he got to run free.” She says comforting as Solcière smiles and looks her in the eyes.

“Thank you for the words of comfort. Although I wouldn’t say I have fully made up for it. That is why I am teaching after all. To make up for it by teaching others the lessons of my master.” Solcière says as Liz nods.

“I understand that a bit. I started to teach because as a kid I always liked to teach Riko how to use magic. Even if she was never all that good back then.” Liz says as the witch giggles.

“That’s a funny thought given how skilled she was when she faced me. I’d say she’s grown into quite the magician. Especially from what I hear from the teachers who teach her currently.” Solcière says as Liz giggles back.

“I get that. But don’t tell her or else she’ll get a swell head.” Liz says as the two witches giggle a bit. As they do Liz smiles. “It’s nice to talk with you like this Solcière.” Liz says as Solcière looks confused.

“Why is that?” She asks as the magician smiles. “Well it’s just that since I helped you to tour around school, I feel I haven’t gotten to talk to you much. Mostly because of our class schedule but also because you seem to keep to yourself. Which I can understand but also I guess I wanted to give you the chance to come out of that room and have some fun you know?” She says as the woman smiles.

“I suppose that’s a fair way to look at things. I like to be alone at times but I do have to say it has been fun. So maybe we could do this more often?” Solcière questions as Liz nods.

“Of course! And tonight’s getting better cause our drinks have finally arrived.” Liz says as Solcière looks to see two nice large glasses for each to have floated to them and sit themselves down. “Ahh right I never had these before, what are they again?” She asked as Liz smiled.

"Frozen Mandarin Margarita. Although if this is your first time be careful. Drinking these things make it very easy to get tipsy if you're not careful.” Liz says the witch looks a bit worried as Liz smiles. “But don’t worry you should be fine. And if not I’m here for you.” Liz says as she takes her first sip and lets out a refreshed sigh as Sorciere looks down to her and takes a drink.

Later on at night a certain duo are shown flying with one on a magic carpet while the other is out of it giggling. “Well it seems that I am here for you.” Solcière says as she looks down to the drunken blue haired women. She was rather tipsy after her first drink and so ordered two more. By the halfway point of the second, Sorciere cut her off and ordered a magical carpet to help take home her drunk friend.

Yet she smiles at that wording again as she soon touches down at the school and waves goodbye to the carpet as it flies back to its owner. As she walks down the halls, Solcière helps the still tipsy magician to their dorm area as she smiles. “Thanks for helping me, Sorciere. But I should be fine.” She says not slurring her speech despite her dizzy movements.

“Are you sure?” She asks as the woman nods as she takes her arm off of Solcière's waist and stands on her own. “Yep I’m fine just gonna try to sleep this off. Still there's one thing I wanna tell ya.” She says with a smile. “What is it?” She asks as Liz moves closer.

“I hope you had a happy time. And that we should do this again.” Liz says as she waddles closer and leans near Sorciere’s ear. “And also keep my dress. You look really pretty in it.” She says as the girl blushes madly as she is unable to say a word as Liz soon kisses her on the check.

“Have a goodnight Solcière.” Liz says as she leaves the witch in the halls and soon shuts her door behind her. As she does the witch blushes. “Was that..oh dear that’s what she meant by date. Hopefully, Riko San won’t be mad about this.” Solcière as she feels her check and blushes a bit at the warmth Liz left. Before the witch smiles.

“Although it was rather nice. It was a fun first date I should say.” Solcière says blushing a bit more but smiling all the way as she soon enters her room for a night of contemplation about what occurred tonight and the happy feelings it gave the witch.

Hope you enjoyed it! As for my rationale behind this one it really isn't much. Obviously the two teachers I have had interact and be friends so why not do so here.

And as for the shipping aspect..well aside from the adorable Yuri that can result, it also came from Liz not having any besides her I could see working as a ship. So why not try it out and once again show that Solcière is absolutely adorable when it comes to romantic situations.

As for the drinking bit yeah Otona is a bit in my head still! Not to spoil for the chapter of my new epilogue fic this week but I am enjoying it quite a bit so I needed to do some of the drinking stuff. it's easily the best comedy from this year!

As for the next fic with around 3 left some of these ideas are a bit more enjoyable and silly so I hope you look forward to that! So with that said I hope you have a nice day!

Chapter 15: Persistent Growth

Summary:

Set after Daruzen and Nadoka’s history is revealed in Healin Good. Nadoka is still training by now running with Chiyu even though she isn’t the fastest and even remarks her desire to improve. To prove that Daruzen has not affected her body as much as he thinks he has. But Chiyu soon admits to Nadoka her own views on her growth and a lesson the young girl should learn to heal.

So here we are in the home stretch! Just three more of these chapters before the end of the month and my every season gets one chapter idea. And today we have a pretty normal ship from it's season that I choose not to go with like with Amane x Kokone. So I hope you enjoy what I have planned!

It was a bright sunny day outside of the Hanadera residence. The birds were chirping, the animals all scurrying around happily, and a bright magenta haired girl walked out with a tracksuit and a water bottle in hand. Behind her was a floating pink rabbit creature who looked a bit worried as the girl stretched.

“Nodoka..I know you wanna work out to gain endurance but shouldn’t you take a break every other day.” Rabirin says as the girl shakes her head. “Nope can’t do that. I’m trying to take care of myself and get stronger after all. Nothing will change if I don’t work at it.” She says something of a catchphrase to the young healing animal as she sighs.

Her partner is one of the kindest, most loving people she had ever met and yet she was also one of the most stubborn people she had met. So she chose not to argue and followed behind her in her small stringed bag as the girl took off to her destination of the beach.

Once there they saw a blue-haired girl in her own matching blue tracksuit looking out to the sun reaching over the horizon along with a floating blue penguin. As the girl heard the two approaching she looked to Nodoka with a smile.

“Good morning Chiyu!” Nodoka says with a bright smile as Chiyu nods. “Good morning to you Nodoka. How did you sleep last night?” Chiyu asked as the girl jumped up. “I slept great! Thank you for asking. Also thank you for agreeing to run with me today.” Nodoka says as Chiyu smiles.

“Of course Nodoka. It’s my pleasure. And it’s gonna be fun to do it with someone.” She says as the girl nods. “Alright then shall we go?” She questions eagerly as Chiyu giggles. “Well we have to stretch first.” She says as Nodoka blushes a bit and nods as the two do just that as their fairies watch.

And soon before either had seen the sun fully rise over the waves of the ocean they both began their morning jog and run. Both Nodoka and Chiyu seemed to be keeping good pace although the athletic blue seemed to be outpacing her friend by a good margin. Still Nodoka was keeping a good pace as the Chiyu slowed a bit to go besides Nodoka as she started to hear the girl breathing a bit harsher than she expected as the girl looked to her friend.

“Nodoka..would you like to take a break?” She questioned as Nodoka looked and frowned. “Why take a break now? We haven’t even started to run yet?” She asked as Chiyu frowned but decided to take her word. “Very well would you like to start our run?” She replied as Nodoka nodded.

“Yes please.” She says as Chiyu frowns but nods as she and Nodoka pick up their pace, as they rushes through the edges of the forest they were in and soon find their way in a more open area as the two let their top speed out. And Chiyu soon noticed Nodoka struggling to keep up and breathing harshly as she frowned and sighed as she ran farther ahead and then started to slow before stopping all together.

As she did the magenta haired girl rushes towards her but noticing Chiyu she quickly slows down and stops in front of her. And despite her breathing hard she looks at Chiyu confused. “Why did we stop?” She asked breathing in between the words as Chiyu sighs.

“Nodoka, you are out of breath. It isn’t good to be straining yourself that much.” Chiyu says as Nodoka pouts but nods. “I guess you're right.” She says sadly as she looks down. As she does, Chiyu sighs as she takes out her water bottle as Pegitan flies out of her bag as he and Rabirin look at both girls.

“Why don’t we take a break for a few minutes then go back where we came?” Chiyu questions as Nodoka nods still out of breath as Chiyu looks to the fairies. “Hey guys can you do me a favor? Can you grab me some fresh blueberries from the trees nearby? They'd be a nice treat to have after our jog and run back. Here I even have a box to put them in.” Chiyu says as Pegitan smiles.

“Of course Chiyu! Common Rabarin.” Pegitan says as he looks to his pink healing animal and sees her looking toward her tired partner before looking to him. “Oh um sure.” She says as she flies past Chiyu as the girl gives a nod as Rabirin smiles and flies off with the penguin fairy. As they do, Chiyu and Nodoka soon sit down near a tree in the forest they were in. Both gulping down water, although Nodoka nearly drinks all her water while Chiyu only drinks half. As she looks at Nodoka she smiles.

“I think you’ve made some great progress lately Nodoka.” She comments as Nodoka smiles. “You really think so? Thank you Chiyu.” She says grateful before turning around to face the sky. “Although I feel I could be doing better. So I guess that’s why I was pushing myself a bit today.” She admits as Chiyu wanted to comment but chooses to hold in her comment and instead say something else.

“I think you're growing just fine at the level you're at now. Although maybe not going beyond your limits to the point of breathing heavy.” She says as Nodoka frowns. “But Chiyu, that's what I see you do so often. So I figured I could do it as well.” She says as Chiyu smiles. “I think that’s great in a way Nodoka but you need to remember you're not an athlete like I am.” She says as Nodoka looks down.

“Yeah I guess you're right. I never really got the chance to before I was..” Nodoka says as Chiyu frowns seeing her friend's sad look. And cursing internally the one she knows to be responsible. “Is that why you're so obsessed with pushing yourself lately?” She asked as Nodoka frowned

“I..yes. But it’s not because I’m blaming myself like before.” Nodoka says as Chiyu looks in curiosity at her friend. “I just..I wanna prove him wrong.” She says as Chiyu looks at Nodoka. “Wrong about what?” She questions as Nodoka frowns.

“That he..that he has no power over me. That he won’t make me this sickly forever. That I can be anything I set my mind to no matter what he took from me in the past. Even if it was my health.” Nodoka says as she tears up a bit as Chiyu frowns and moves closer before putting her hand on top of Nodoka's, causing the girl to look at her. Chiyu then wipes her tears with her other hand before smiling.

“I think that your goal in that way is a good idea but might be a bit too harmful to you. My coach once told my team that any of us who are fueled by a desire to prove others wrong out of spite should find another outlite. Spite can be a great starting flame but it can also be a very volatile fuel. So I ask you Nodoka, don't just think of trying to prove him wrong. Because honestly you have. You have all this time by being a Pretty Cure. By growing as you have as a person and even now. I mean the you I met when you first moved to this town I couldn’t imagine running as fast as you did today or keeping as close to me as you did in our jog. It shows how even if you haven’t grown as much as you want you still have. You're so stubborn with this that I guess you can. It's a persistent growth. But one I want you to know you don’t have to push as hard on.” Chiyu says as Nodoka tears up.

“Awe Chiyu thank you.” Nodoka says as she plants her head into Chiyu's neck causing the girl to blush but smile and hug her friend. “Anytime Nodoka.” She says kindly although with her heart thumping from her crush acting to her in such a manner.

Still she smiles at the girl in front of her. So pretty and so strong. And yet also so fragile due to her past. It made Chiyu happy to be here and comforted her in her time of need. And with that she allowed for their hugging cry session to continue. Just a little bit longer, so long as Nodoka didn’t feel the heat radiating from Chiyu.

Although on Nodoka's side she blushes as well. Thinking maybe doing such an intimate thing to her close friend would give a bad intention and ruin a future confession she wished to have. Still in the heat of the moment the girl was overjoyed to have Chiyu say what she did about Nodoka.

She knew Daruzen was still her biggest worry and biggest regret and yet hugging Chiyu as she was made the thoughts of him and his terrible attitude and guilt tripping leave her mind. As all she could think of was the strong and loving embrace she found herself in and the beautiful girl doing it. So she’d stay here just a bit longer and take in the joy and warmth of this beauty day.

So with this ship, I love any ship with Nodoka being happy so this was a very fun ride. I originally with my series was gonna poly Chiyu Nodoka and Hinata because I couldn't pick. But I never felt comfortable doing Poly Ships in my actual series. But here in what if land, that can be accomplished! And yes I did once again make a healin good fic that focused on Nodoka's thing with Daruzen (Not romantic for the love of god). I do admit it to be a bit of a thing for me namely due to Healin Good while a fun season is only really great because of this relationship dynamic and the way it ends. Well that and the fairies but I digress. Either way I hope you enjoy this one! I know I did! As for tomorrow well I have a bit more time tonight so it's gonna be the last true weird and out their ship. Namely in the I don't think anyone has thought of or would ship these two camp. SO I hope you look froward to that and until then have a nice day as always!

Chapter 16: Remembrance of a friend! While Embracing Love!

Summary:

It's a day of sorrow and a day of joy as Love and Hayato do both on this important day.

So yeah this one is probably be weird but I will try to explain it in the end but I hope you enjoy! (Also sorry for the wait of it overall!)

It was a warm and inviting July 12th. In the early hours of the morning children played with one another enjoying the summer break as adults headed to work hoping to keep cool in the heat. And in one home a girl was waking up a bit later as she wiped her eyes of sleepies and soon laid eyes on the calendar.

As she did she frowned before slapping her cheeks causing her to wake and soon smile. “I shouldn’t be sad today! I gotta stay positive. And get ready.” The blonde haired girl says as she stretches and soon changes her outfit getting ready for the day.

And soon said girl was walking to a familiar place in the park with an equally familiar man smiling at her in his food truck. “Ahh Love Chan! Good morning!” The man says happy as she smiles. “Good morning to you Kaoru Chan! Can I get my usual five donut special?” She questions as the man nods. "Right away! Take a seat and I’ll have them out in a few minutes!” He says as Love nods.

As she sits down at one of the tables and chairs near the food truck. And once she does she takes out her phone and observes all the messages on the group chat. From images of memes Erika came up with, to new designs for outfits Hime drew up, and more. However, Love soon saw a picture which caused her to frown and yet smile soon after. A lovely garden of flowers of different types all nicely arranged on a grave with a rather beautiful caption.

“Those who die are not forgotten, their memories help guide us into the future and help to correct mistakes.” She says as she nods. “Smart words to live by isn’t it.” She hears before a pair of hands cover her eyes as Love smiles. “Oh no who could it be?” She questions jokingly as the voice of the person speaks.

“Just a guy looking for some donuts. You don’t mind sharing, do you, Love?” He questions as Love giggles. “Of course not, take a seat, Hayato.” Love says as the hands leave her eyes as a smile greets her view as a rather muscular and good looking young man walks to the opposite end and plots down.

“Did you order already?” He questions as Love nods. “Yep, the normal 5 donut special!” Love says as the man chuckles. “Only 5 donuts. That’s kinda light for you.” He says as Love smirks. “Yeah but it’s only the morning. I need to save room for the party tonight.” She says as the man nods. “Guess you have a point. Shun told me not to eat much for breakfast for that reason. But I couldn’t work out on an empty stomach.” He says as Love giggles.

“And your progress shows as always.” Love says as Hayato playfully flexes as the girl smiles before both laugh. As they do, Love looks back to her phone. “This effigy was it, Shun's writing?” She questions as Hayato smiles. “Yep! Although I did help a little!” He says as Love slowly lowers her eyes in suspicion as the man blushes. “Okay I just read it before he sent it out. I mean it’s not my fault I suck at writing.” He says as Love smiles. “Ehh you're good at so much else it doesn’t matter.” Love says as Hayato blushes.

As he does, a plate is placed in the center. “Here are your five donuts special, Love. Although with Hayato I guess I’ll need to prepare more.” He says as Hayato nods. “Keep ‘em coming Kaoru Chan.” He says as the man smirks. “I will but just know these are 4 times the normal price for a happy couple like you two.” He says as Hayato looks surprised as Love and the man laugh. “Just kidding, Gaha!” He laughs his trademark laugh as Hayato pouts as he and Love each take a donut and eat it happily.

Soon their donut eating celebration would end though, as Love and Hayato begin their trek into a forest area near the town. As they do Hayato nods to Love. “Yeah, the flower arrangement was great! Good to know that Lillian is just as good with them as the others on her team.” Hayato says as Love nods.

“Yep, it looked great! Although I thought they were all coming tonight. When did they bring flowers?” She asked as he smiled. “Well we had our meeting last night. Shun and I figured it’s best to have our meeting with just the group before having the party tonight.” He says as Love nods.

“I see how’d the meeting go off last night?” She asked as the man sighed. “Well Regina and Ira fought like normal and Bilbury and Rio were at each other's throats. So a pretty normal meeting. Just wish they would listen to me and not Phantom or Shun only.” Hayato says as he scratches the back of his neck as Love smiles.

“That is your issue. You're too nice and goofy to be taken seriously. Although I do think if you pulled that serious attitude from our battle in Labyrinth you could make them stop.” Love says as the man frowns. “Ehh it’s not really my style. Unless the world is in trouble. Still it’s nice to be able to see everyone having fun. I know she’d have loved it.” Hayato says as Love looks down and nods.

“I think she would.” Love says as the two keep walking before they reach a clearing. At the clearing they see a small grave made up at the edge of two trees. The grave was surrounded by flowers as was everything but particularly by 4 leaf clovers. As the two got to the grave they smiled.

“Hey Setsuna.” Love says first. “Hey Eas.” Hayato says second as they look at the grave. “Hope things are good where you are. I know things for me have been heating up lately. What with practicing for my solo dance tournament submission. Miyuki San’s been working me really hard so I can do well! Guess her as role as Cure Passion has made her push me more.” Love says as Hayato nods.

“Yep. But Love's really great at it too! As for me, the city’s doing well. We made a new building the other day for the youth center since the old one gets really full. Kids all look super excited for it so that’s good. I even got some of the Redemptives to help out too.” He says with a smile on his face.

“They got some new members this year who probably helped. Especially this tech wizard who probably helped a lot with demolition I bet.” Love says as he nods.

“Yep. That Narsitoru guy is one heck of a genius. Although a bit too much like Shun for my taste. But I’d think you would have liked him. And Amane to..she’s like some of the girls I told you about before. So I umm been keeping my promise.” He says as Love nods.

“Yep! As have I! I’m living everyday to help get my happiness as well as the happiness of everyone I meet. So I hope you're happy where you are. I know we..miss you.” Love says as Hayato puts an arm around Love.

“But we’re taking care of and supporting each other too! Me and Love are going on 5 years at this point. And we ain’t gonna stop anytime soon.” He says as Love smirks. “Although I don’t know when he’ll propose to me.” Love jokes.

“Ahh Love! I just am not right now with all my work and stuff. Besides, she'd know how hard it is to try and do a marriage proposal when we’ve been taught differently! Although speaking of that we did get those machines working for the DNA chambers. Who knows maybe we’ll be able to finally allow some same sex couples to have families of their own.” He says as Love smiles.

“Yep it seems everyday Labyrinth is getting better..I just wish you could see it.” Love says as she tears up a bit as Hayato pats her back. “Yeah but I know you're probably watching from above or wherever you guys go when you die. So I’m sure you see it and..hopefully are proud of what we did.” He says with a small smile.

“But we should get going soon. We gotta set up a party. We need to celebrate you and all our lost friends together.” Hayato says as Love nods. “Yep so sorry to cut this short but..we love you Setsuna. And I hope you have a good day as well as us.” Love says happily as she and Hayato look at each other and bow to it as they then leave the sight with a few flowers placed on the tombstone.

As they walk off, Love holds onto Hayato. “Hey you alright?” He asks as Love nods. “Yep..it’s just sometimes it’s harder to talk to her about stuff. But I’m glad you're with me.” Love says with a smile as Hayato nods and gives her a kiss on the cheek.

“Of course. I will never leave your side, Love. I need you just as much as you need me. You keep me going honestly.” He says as Love smiles and kisses Hayato on the cheek. “Oh course. We keep each other strong! That’s why we will keep finding happiness with each other!” She says as the man nods as the two walk off to have a fun night.

Meanwhile, back at the grave a pale see through figure smiles. “I’m glad you keep having happiness Love and Hayato. I just wish I could join you. But I’m happy to watch..and see you grow in your passions.” She says with a smile on her ghostly white face before fading away and leaving the grave empty but full of love non the less.

So with this chapter it was one I thought up when coming up with these little romances but at the same time I was unsure how to handle it. Especially since it's idea is the most What If one yet with Setsuna being dead and Miyuki as Cure Passion. But I figured why not try since I always loved the idea of exploring this what if. But I wanted to do it in a romantic way which is why I was proud to do this ship.

Love and Hayato are two of my favorite character in Fresh right along with Setsuna and I find it funny how similar they are when shipped with Setsuna. So putting them together was fun and I felt their banter was very easy to come up with! I just hope it isn't to weird overall! And with that as always I say have a nice day!

Chapter 17: Dreams that Burn with Passions

Summary:

After the day they had Rin and Nozomi decide to just relax while waiting for Coco to collect his things. While they do though Nozomi's joy at Rin becoming a Pretty Cure has sparked a confession in the little butterfly that Rin may or may not be prepared for..yet excepts anyway!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!

My favorite day of the year! Or it would if I didn't have class but that's a me problem! Anyway I hope you have been having a wonderful day! And so before you all go to bed or once you awaken in the morning here is my tribute to this great day with the next chapter of such a fun series! And it's a ship I have a hell of a lot of love for in spite my own preferences in my main series keeping me from doing it! So enjoy!

It was the late afternoon as the orange skies lit up the ending to this day.

A day that most people would call normal. But for two girls happily sitting on the bench it was a very weird yet happy day.

Well more accurately happy for one magenta haired girl as she cuddled the other to the point of the orange haired girl giving her an annoyed look as she pushed her back.

“Nozomi, quit hugging me already!” Rin yelled as she pushed her away as the magenta haired girl pouted.

“But Rin Chan! I am just so happy! You became a Pretty Cure! We are Pretty Cures together!” Nozomi says happily as Rin sighs but smiles.

“Is it really that big of a deal? It’s not like this made us friends. I mean we already are best friends.” Rin says as Nozomi smiles.

“Yes! It means we're even more than best friends!” Nozomi says as Rin’s eyes go wide as she blushes slightly.

“Wha..what? How can we be more than best friends?” Rin questions as Nozomi frowns.

“Huh..I am not sure but I know I feel that for you! My heart just won’t stop beating happily now that we're Pretty Cures together! “ Nozomi says as Rin blushes and looks away from the girl.

Today had to be one of the weirdest days for the orange haired athlete.

Sure knowing Nozomi meant any day could get weird given the messes she normally found herself in..yet learning about her becoming a magical warrior to fight off an evil company hell bent on stealing the last item from the last person of a fallen kingdom.

Said person being a cream colored tanuki who could turn into a human that somehow became their teacher. And heck now even she was one of these magical warriors!

Yet..as she looks back at Nozomi as she happily talks about how good she did in her first fight as this Cure Rouge, she blushes.

Because as much as she wants to not be overwhelmed by Nozomi’s showering affection, she is happy it’s occurring.

Especially due to her attitude the whole day, which in hindsight made her feel bad. She was so worried about Nozomi being this Pretty Cure, it caused the two to fight about it.

And inspite of how different they were..Rin never liked to fight with Nozomi.

She was her best friend..her oldest friend..and the friend she loved with all her heart. Yet thinking of her doing this..it made her worried..it made her scared she’d get hurt like they did when they’d play as kids.

Only now it could lead to her dying! It made her worried..it made her stressed. Yet when push came to shove, she chose to fight with Nozomi, to become Cure Rouge..all because she loved her.

Although, that was one of the things this situation really did bring to life.

Sure, she and Nozomi always said it. I love you. It was a simple three word sentence they exchange at birthdays, holidays, sports event victories or in Nozomi’s case often during normal days.

Yet the meaning Rin had for it..was different. Or she thought that was the case.

She..really did love Nozomi..as more than a friend, more than a sister.

Yet that kinda love made her worried. Could she..could she really do it though.

It was three words..three simple words that if she explained the meaning to would tell Nozomi how she really felt.

How she loved her friendly nature.

Her kind heart that was so open and large and blinding with its own light.

Or even, for as much as she was clumsy, her strength.

Her ability to fight in spite of not being the best or strongest, yet never giving up hope.

It all inspired Rin..it all made her love Nozomi.

Yet could she tell her how she felt? Was this the right moment?

Could she use this Pretty Cure connection they now had to do it?

Or would it be best to hide these feelings for a better moment!

“Rin Chan?” Rin heard as she looked at Nozomi who was blushing a bit.

“Yes, Nozomi?” Rin questioned although a little annoyed at being brought out of her thoughts.

“Well..I wanted to be honest with you..when I said I wanted to be more than friends..I meant it. But like..as girlfriends.” Nozomi says as Rin looks to her shocked, eyes opened and mouth agape.

“Because..I love you Rin Chan! You're so cool! You're the star athlete on every team and everyone knows that! But you're also so good with homework and tests! I wish I was half as smart as you. And you're also so pretty and cute! No wonder you're a Pretty Cure because Rin Chan, you're so beautiful!" Nozomi says smiling happily before continuing.

"Your hair is so soft and nice, your eyes are so colorful, and heck you also look good in anything! From our uniform, to your sports outfit, to even that cute dress you wore during your last birthday! Everything about you is so amazing Rin Chan! So..I..I love you! I just hope you could feel the same..” Nozomi says blushing as Rin just looks at Nozomi, slack jawed, eyes open and blushing profusely.

Yet as she processed what Nozomi just said..it made her do one thing.

One thing which may have not been appropriate but in the moment was all she could do.

She started quietly but soon burst out into a laugh.

As she did she wiped water from her eyes as Nozomi pouted.

“Rin Chan! I was being serious! I really do love you that way!” Nozomi says as Rin keeps it up before she puts her hand up, then slowly calms down and once she does she smiles at Nozomi.

“Sorry to laugh Nozomi..I guess I was just thinking too hard about it. Because I was worried how I would say it..but since you did..I guess I can be honest too. Nozomi..I love you too.” Rin says before giving Nozomi a quick peck on the cheek as she smiles at her best friend turned lover.

As she did, Nozomi seemingly burst into flames with her blush before she smiled the brightest, warmest, and happiest smile she ever did. The one she always did when around Rin.

Before..she dove at Rin and hugged her in the most loving yet strong hug Rin ever felt. “AHHH Rin Chan! I am so happy! Thank you so much for that kiss! Ahh it felt so good! Can I kiss you back?” Nozomi questions as Rin looks back at Nozomi and breathes one word.

“Breath..” She says as Nozomi looks at her confused. “Can’t..breathe.” She hears as Nozomi blushes and lets go. “Oh sorry Rin Chan!” Nozomi yells as Rin breathes in and out before facing her.

“You gotta tone that down now that we are dating. You almost suffocated me back there.” Rin says as Nozomi pouts but nods.

“Okay Rin Chan..wait, are we really dating now?” Nozomi questions as Rin sweat drops.

“Nozomi…we just both confessed. Of course we are dating.” Rin says as Nozomi smiles.

“Oh right, Rin Chan. Well then uhh what do you wanna do for our first date?!” Nozomi says happily as Rin sighs.

“Well maybe we should wait till it’s the weekend. Besides, we should be heading home soon.” Rin says seeing the sun starting to set.

“Oh right! Well we can once Coco gets back! He said he wanted to collect some papers he didn’t get before he sensed the Pinkies.” Nozomi says as Rin nods.

“Ahh I see. Still getting over having a fairy for a teacher though.” Rin says as Nozomi smiles.

“Yeah I know! Isn’t it cool!” Nozomi says as Rin smiles.

“Yeah I guess so.” Rin says as Nozomi’s eyes open wide as she gives a wide smile.

“Hey Rin Chan! Can we cuddle some more?” Nozomi questions as Rin feels the cuteness just radiating off of her as she smiles.

“Sure thing Nozomi.” She says as she and her best friend, turned girlfriend hug it out as the sunsets on this weird, yet happy day for both of them.

And Done! So Nozomi x Rin huh? Yeah as a long time Nozomi x Coco supporter and shipper, this much be a shock. And TBH it kinda is. Not naming any other ships involving magical girls x non prince ship partners, but of them this is the one I love the most. And was most heartbroken I could do in my own verse because I just loved Nozomi and Coco way to much.

So getting to do a what if was fun! Mostly to just make Nozomi Yumehara once again the fluffiest most wholesome character in the franchise. And of course writing Rin and her is always fun so of course I had a blast with this.

Especially focusing on ep 2 of Yes 5 for my basis. Since it's legit such a good intro cure ep probably my favorite singular one although not my favorite when counting two parters (ALL HAIL QUEEN SETSUNA!)

Chapter 18: Romantic Nobility

Summary:

Life could've been so grand had these two gotten together. Unfortunately, all we have is but a taste of their romance and the bright future they could've had. Still a taste is better than nothing at all.

HOOO BOY this one has been a long time coming. And yet I still haven't managed to figure out what to do about that Happiness Charge chapter..oh well at least this'll be a fun one.

And depressing cause seriously, how the hell am I the first one to tag this ship? LIKE WHAT! But I shall save my thoughts on these two for the end. Till then, let us embrace this Week of Love with this adorable pair!

It was a beautiful day in Skyland. The sky was a picturesque baby blue with fluffy white clouds of different shapes and sizes slowly but surely moving from one spot to another.

All the while, the glorious bright yellow sun shone down on the land. Primarily in this case the royal castle of the kingdom, namely a balcony where a certain maiden stood.

The sun shone down on the maiden making her already radiant appearance even more so. From her ruby red and yellow striped hair looking like a glimmering crystal in the light as the wind blew it all over yet never too much out of place.

Along with her hair was a cute black colored flower adorning the top of it. Her figure was decked out in a gorgeous black, white, and red gown with black gloves moving up to her shoulders.

Along with this was a cute looking broach and collar around her chest. Finally, she opened her eyes looking up to the sky above as her big bright yellow eyes shone with joy.

Joy at seeing a sight she never knew she’d see..and never thought she would have scene in such a peaceful situation.

Peace..the woman thought as she smiled. It was a word she always loved. Something which fits her soft and kind hearted personality.

Yet was a word antithetical to the world she came from. You see this woman was actually a princess soon to be empress of the kingdom below Skyland, the Undergu Empire.

A kingdom that she was named after..or at least was given the title of due to her royal heritage. A kingdom she was..unsure how to feel. On one hand, she loved her world, and her people.

But..her world was dominated by an idea of strength, of power. It was something she did have some pride in herself, as being royalty already gave her an incredible amount of Undergu Energy.

And she had a wonderful tutor who taught her how to use her powers for protection of herself and dominating others.

And while using it for protection was reassuring to her..it hurt her to know that this power could inflict harm on others. And her father, the Emperor, along with her tutor had tried to get her to see the point of this power, to dominate others.

Which, her father had tried to use to take over this miraculous kingdom. Yet unlike all other kingdoms that their world attacked, this one soon gained a protector.

Someone to fight off the forces of their kingdom and rival the strength they possessed. It was shocking to her..yet thankfully this protector was someone of a similar mindset to her.

Someone who gave her the chance to try and talk her father out of his destructive ways. And due to her own near sacrifice, that actually happened.

Her father not only saved her with an energy made to supposedly destroy, but had now made peace with this protector, and now..she was standing on the precipice of a new era to occur.

A new era for her, her father, her world, and even this world. A peace that she hoped would last as long as it could. And would likely last as long as she and her protector friend would live.

“Princess.” The soon to be empress heard as she turned to the voice she heard with a big smile on her face. There right in front of her was none other than this kingdom's protector, Princess Elleelain.

A woman around her age with long purple hair flowing in the wind. Dressed in a gorgeous dress with blues, yellows, and purples making up a regal and elegant yet very much adorable appearance for the young princess.

Along with the kindest most gorgeous blue eyes that shone with compassion, strength, or in this situation joy as she approached with a grin on her face as she stood with her friend.

“Sorry I was dozing off a bit there. This breeze from the balcony..it’s something I never thought I’d feel.” She says as she turns and looks down at the Skyland kingdom below from the castle. So shiny and glorious. And yet so homely and warm. With the big blue sky overhead.

“I can see that. Your hair seems to like it, especially it would seem.” Elleelain says with a giggle as the maiden brushes the red locks away from the young woman’s face.

“Princess..” the woman says with a blush as Elleelain giggles. “Sorry..though I must say your face right now is as red as your hair. You could say your face resembles your name shake, Ruby.” She says with a smile as the blush intensifies.

“Elleian..I told you not to say my true name while in public.” The Undergu Princess, Ruby says with a whine and a rather cute pout.

“Aw I’m sorry, it’s just such a pretty name. I have no idea why you don't address yourself by it. Noir, your father or even your tutor calling you by it.” She says as the red head sighs.

“It’s a complicated difference between our kingdoms I suppose. With your name all your subjects address you as Princess Elleelain. But for our kingdom and its subjects all they are expected to know is our title. The Emperor or Empress of the Undergu Kingdom. That is all we are..since strength is everything. Or was everything. We only are given names to be addressed by our parents in non kingdom interactions and our..romantic partners.” She says with a blush as Elleelain smiles and grabs hold of the girl's hand much to her gasp from the sudden motion.

“Then I’m one of those people already. Aren’t I?” She asks with a blush as Ruby sighs and nods giving a soft smile.

Elleelain and Ruby had been friends for over a year at this point. And in that year the two had grown closer and closer together. Not just as rulers but as young women of similar ages.

But such a bond would soon turn to something more romantic. Due to their love of peace, sowing, and learning together. This made the two soon realize that they had..feelings for one another for a bit of time, but both tried to not bring it up.

Elleelain worried about shaking things up with her newfound friend as she was still adjusting to everything that changed in her life and even world view.

And Ruby due to being afraid of father’s reaction. After all, the last ruler to marry someone outside of the kingdom was not favorably thought of by her people.

Yet soon the red haired girl let her father know of her feelings, both for some sense of relief and due to him questioning her behavior as of late whenever Elleelain was mentioned.

And yet his reaction was far from what she expected as all he did was let out a prideful laugh and give her a cheerful smile of support.

Granted most of that was due to her father’s belief that Elleelain's strength and her own mixing into future descendants would keep their royal bloodline strong.

Yet also, he expressed that as long as she and Elleelain were happy with this, he would support her. Which was all the confidence she needed to then confess to Elleelain.

And the confession went off without a hitch as Elleelain and Ruby both admitted to their feelings, as their parents and even kingdom happily celebrated it.

Granted some like Ruby’s tutor seemed a bit grumpy by it but her father and her figured it was just due to caring for her and wanting the future Empress to be in good hands.

But that was worth it, if it meant the two could be together, even if Elleelain had a very obvious love for making Ruby blush out of embarrassment.

Yet in this moment, as the blush spread the woman sighed as she looked at her. “You are Elleelain..and I wouldn’t have it any other way.” She says before looking down at the floor and then out to the balcony again.

“I’m just still reeling from all the changes in my life as well as for my kingdom. This time of peace..I worry that some of my subjects might not tolerate this, or even worse that your people won’t accept us..after all we did.” She says as she feels a tighter grip form from her friend's handhold as she was directed back to her.

“What your kingdom did has been healed. No blood was spilt on either side. The only one who was injured was healed..and now she lives happily with us in peace and harmony.” Elleelain says as her lover looks into her eyes.

“You have nothing to be ashamed of. Your choice to step into that fight and to call for peace, has changed the fate of our kingdoms. And today, we shall celebrate that once more.” She says as the princess, as Ruby smiles.

Yes, you see, today was a special day. It was the anniversary of the peace treaty formed between Skyland and the Undergu Empire. And while the two kingdoms still hadn’t formed a true joined celebration together, both kingdoms celebrated this peace in their own ways. With Skyland prepping for a small gathering of royalty and nobles to enjoy food together and discuss matters to make their kingdoms work together to benefit one another. A perfectly fitting thing to celebrate this glorious anniversary. One that allowed the scarlet princess to smile happily.

“Right..thank you Elleelain. I say it far too often at this point but I thank whatever fate exists that I was blessed to meet you. With you by my side, I truly believe we can make a brighter future for both our worlds.” Ruby says as Elleelain nods.

“But of course my lovely Ruby.” She says as she moves closer and pecks a kiss on her girlfriend's cheek. At this she smiles. “Regardless, that is why I came to find you. The meal will begin soon and with it your father wished for me to bring you in. He seems rather hungry.” Elleelain says as Ruby sighs.

“Of course. He is rather excited for the wonderful meal this year, especially after the previous years feast. Though, I guess I am too. So then shall we go?” She questions as Elleelain smiled.

“But of course, Ruby, after all there is no one I’d rather do this with than you.” She says as Ruby nods, as the two princess hand in hand walk back into the castle for the momentous meal and day ahead of them. One that hopefully will end much brighter than things could have turned out in another place, and another time.

So, this ship huh? Yeah it comes from the heart because god damnit these two are so adorable. Like how is it the relationship we see for like 2 full episodes and one flashback somehow hits me more than the main ship of this season?

But no matter because I was happy to commit to writing it. Even if I do admit this was originally part of a different fic. But like a lot of last years work it kinda got...to be to much stress to commit to, so I decide to take my favorite part of it, which was originally a flashback to the two of them being together before Skearashole split them up, and add stuff to make this a fun what if chapter.

As for why I am not brining Elleelain back with the White Hole, I kind decided I wanna let some death stay in this show, even if it hurts my should since I love these two together and really wish they could've stayed together given their relationship.

Then again most of that comes down to the Empress herself who turned out to be easily one of my favorite characters in the whole show. What with her adorable early self, followed by her badass new self, and even how she dealt with her abusive lover. It was all really well done and I was glad to see the show give her something of a happy ending. Even if she could never be with Elleelain.

As for the name I gave her..well it's a 100% a fairy tail reference. More specifically because one of her VAs (the modern version of her) is played by Irene's actress. And given her hair color..well yeah 100% went with Ruby as a play on that. And gemstones since she does come from a kingdom underground, so I felt that was fitting. And also just so she'd have a name instead of just a title (seriously hate how this franchise and Doremi will do that with rulers. Like give them names dammit like you did with Ann or with Filia).

With that said this shall be the only detour back to this fic. I have some what if ideas for Wonderful, and Happiness Charge, but I still am struggling with fully committing to them. So we shall see if that happens, but to those reading this week, stay tuned! Cause I have a very fun ship fic for the big day on Friday! Chapter 19: Honey Filled Confession of Happiness and Sorrow

Summary:

It was the worst day of her life. Her secret was finally out in the open. And Megumi, Seji, and especially Yuko would forever hate her now. Or so she thought till a certain honey loving girl found her and brightened her bleak day.

I will say..this is 100% a fic a wrote at 11:00 at night so..sorry about the quality. But after rewatching Happiness Charge Episode 20 I just had to you know! Hope you enjoy!

It was a bit of a downer of an evening for the Happiness Charge Pretty Cures. After a pretty fun day all things considered, what with teaming up with a fellow classmate, Iona Hikawa, to play soccer together. As well as successfully defending their town from the forces of the Phantom Empire, along with the mysterious and powerful, Cure Fortune.

However, as Megumi Aino, Hime Shirayuki, Yuko Omori, and Seji Sagara would soon learn, both of the people they worked with that day, were in fact one person. Yes, Iona and Cure Fortune were the same girl, yet even that paled in comparison to why they learned this fact.

Because the girl herself decided to reveal that to the group as a way for Megumi and Yuuko to team up with her. So that the three of them could work together to keep their town safe, become stronger, and eventually defeat the elusive Pretty Cure Hunter, Phantom.

The same man who Megumi and her friends failed to defeat before, surviving off the skin of their teeth. And the same man who they’d learned had imprisoned Iona’s sister, Maria Hikawa aka Cure Tender, within his Pretty Cure graveyard. It sounded like a dream..but of course to another on the team..this was naturally something very nightmarish.

Because, Hime aka Cure Princess was excluded from this offer..and she knew the reason why. Of course she did, it was blatant to her since she met Cure Fortune that she knew what she did. She knew what she caused. And she would never ever forgive her for it. And that was why..hearing Iona say why to her friends.

Revealing her dirty laundry when it came to her past and greatest sin, the secret she kept so close to her chest. The secret she KNEW would be the thing that had the chance to destroy her bond with Yuko and especially, Megumi. And Iona said it..without any hint of understanding to Hime’s feelings.

“The one who caused despair to spread across the world. The one who brought destruction to the Blue Sky Kingdom..is her.” Iona declared pointing to Hime as she crouched down, her own anxiety and stress building up in her. Till as the conversation went on..she exploded.

“But! But..I..” Hime would yell trying to talk with Megumi and Yuko. Trying to get them to see her side, her rationale..and yet the looks of shock and confusion on their face along with Iona’s declaration of never forgiving Hime..it broke her. It caused her to regress, to go back to the one thing she was good at. “I never thought things would turn out this way!” Hime yelled at the top of her lungs as she ran. She ran from them and Seji, she ran from Ribbon, and she ran away from Cure Fortune..from Iona.

Like she always did. After all the only things she was good at were spending time counting every little mistake and knowing it’s always easier to run. And so she did..ran as fast as her legs could carry her. And despite not being an athlete..she would soon ditch her friends and find herself inside a children’s playground slide.

The inner area makes for both a perfect place to hide her..and a perfect place to cry. Something else she was really good at..as pathetic as it was to think of even now for the poor girl.

Alone. Forgotten. Tired. And now..even hungry as she looked back to the empty bag of honey candy her friend Yuko had given her to calm her down when she and Iona began to fight. The empty bag was a reminder of how..empty her life would be now. Without Megumi and her cheerful happy personality. Her best friend..the one she loved like a sister..the one who helped her so much by becoming courageous and strong when with her. As well as..Yuko and her kind friendly personality.

The bright calming friend who while singing an annoying song, was always sweet to her like her namesake. In spite of her not deserving it…especially since..she harbored a secret toward Yuko which would likely cause her to distance from Hime even without the influence of Alexia. Yet now on top of what was just revealed, she’d never have the courage to say it now. Something that caused her even more so to feel sorry that she ate all the honey candy from Yuko. So much so she wished for one more..just one more to make this pain go away. And soon one appeared in her hands. As delight would soon trigger, before confusion and then realization when a voice spoke up.

“Found you Hime.” She heard as she darted her head toward the opening of the hole to find Yuko decked out in a cute looking detective outfit from their numerous card forms. A worried look on her face as she revealed she found Hime due to the wrappers she did not throw away properly. Yet being confronted by Yuko..it caused Hime to once more regress to her normal mindset. Immediately trying to make a break for it..before a soft hand touched her own. As Yuko’s kind voice echoed in the area.

“Why are you running away?” She asked in the softest kindest voice Hime ever heard as the girls paused as all of her pent up sadness, like a dam ready to burst, finally exploded out of her as she looked away from Yuko. “Because you know about Alexia! I was the cause of all this despair! And I kept it hidden from all of you. I’M THE WORST!!!” She says glaring down to the ground as tears well in her eyes. “I’m sure you two hate me now..it’s over for us, right? You’ll pick Cure Fortune over me!” She asked, yet the double meaning of it was cruelly intentional on the girl’s words due to the broken dam of emotions she was feeling right now. After all Iona was everything she wasn’t. She was like Megumi said, she was really smart, athletic, and quite famous. Why wouldn’t they pick her over the pathetic princess she was. The coward who ran the first chance she got. The weakling who probably without Megumi would’ve become such a failure that the Pretty Cure Hunter himself would just scoff at her and say she wasn’t worth capturing. “IT’S ALL OVER!” She yelled as tears flowened down her face and out of her eyes like sprinklers on a car.

Yet soon her wailing and pitiful voice would die out as a soft melodious voice spook up. “We won’t hate you.” She heard Yuko say as she didn’t even look at her, disbelief in what she was hearing. It’s not true..she had to hate her.

“I was also hiding something too. I never told you two about Cure Honey, right?” She questions her as Hime stopped her tears briefly as the thought of that short time ago rang in her head. “Did you think about not being my friend any more back then?” She heard her question with a knowing smile on her face. As Hime had to face Yuko to respond.

“No way!” She says as she faces her with complete certainty. Sure she had been shocked and maybe a bit angry to be kept in the dark..but she understood Yuko’s reasoning, and even more so..how could she hate someone so kind and..beautiful.

Yes..she had to internally admit in that still in that moment. Even in her saddest of moods, her feelings for Yuuko..had not changed. Megumi might be her best friend, and basically sister..but Yuko was something more. She was..the girl’s current crush. A crush she’d had for a bit, ever since seeing the pretty girl at school. Yet..grew only more and more with time especially with her as her teammate. Her wonderful, kind, gentle teammate who’s angelic voice and protective nature drew Hime in like a bee to honey. But..as she thought of this she frowned..she shouldn’t think of such things. Not after what she did. Not after how she lied. And not after she once more ran.

Yet like always Yuko shone down on her like the sun itself full of warmth and kindness in those kind eyes and gentle voice as she spoke once more. “Then I can tell you I feel the same. And I'm sure Megumi is thinking about the same thing.” She said as she smiled at Hime as the poor girl felt her heart beat increase. Her best friend..and her crush, they both didn’t wanna leave her. They wanted to stay friends? Was this..was this possible? Was she that blessed? Yet as she felt the warmth of Yuko’s smile for the first time since she ran away she felt a familiar feeling enter her heart. A feeling of happiness once more caused her heart to beat happily.

But soon this feeling was dashed..as of course now of all times another monster attack was occurring. Folks running away worried and scared as they screamed and ran past her little hideaway. As they did, Yuko stopped them and confirmed what was going on. And as she did Hime just curled up once more. After all..what could she do to help? She’d probably get in the way again. Like she always did.

Yet once more the sunlight that was Yuko looked down onto her. “Will this really be okay?” She questioned as her friend knelt down beside her and smiled as she took her hand into her own soft warm hand. “I forgot to tell you..I love you too, Hime.” She heard as she felt her own world crumble around her as she looked to Yuko who gave a soft expression as she smiled.

“Ahh Yuko..I LOVE YOU TOO!” She says as soon she realizes her mouth once more moved before her mind could interpret what she was gonna say. As she felt fear once more take over a bit before she felt that wash away as Yuko smiles. “Yes..I know. But I also know, you love me not like how Megumi does. Because, I love you..the same way I know you love me.” She says with a knowing smile as Hime’s heart went from cracked open like a dam, to reconstructed and bouncing around in her chest like a bouncy ball.

“I admit..at first I loved you like I love Megumi, as a dear friend. But I guess over time my feeling for you became more. I felt happiness around you, as much as I'd feel eating rice with my family. And I love you..even now in spite of all you feel is bad about you. Because the Hime I love, is truly courageous and happy. So common now..let’s show them that true version of you. Along with the power of our love..happiness..and everything in between along with Megumi.” She says happily before giggling. “And when we are done..i’ll make us all a nice meal together as a first date meal.” She says both playfully and kindly as Hime felt all of her worries vanish. While she couldn't say her feelings back..Yuko was just so loving that she could tell.

And knowing she felt the same..it caused Hime to feel that familiar feeling. Not just happiness, not just hope, no..she felt courage seeping back into her. Courage told her to stand tall with Yuko, and Megumi. Protect their world. Secure their wish. And be happy together once and for all. And that was enough to cause her to stand, and chant along with Yuuko those famous words they did anytime before a battle.

“Pretty Cure! Spinning Mirror Change!” They chanted before the two vanished as their cure alter egos took their place. “The Light of Life Flourishing on the Earth! Cure Honey!” Yuko spoke melodiously as Hime posed with her. “The Blue Wind Dancing in the Sky! Cure Princess!” She chanted as the two joined hands. “Injected with Happiness!” Yuko says as Hime smiles with her. “Charged with Bliss!” Hime says confidently as they jump together. “Happiness Charges Pretty Cure!” They shout as they take off together, hand in hand, ready to find Megumi and fight off whatever came their way.

Be it Cure Fortune, the Pretty Cure Hunter, the entire Phantom Empire or whatever else stood in the way of their happiness. A happiness Hime felt all over as she held tight the hand of Yuko, her now confirmed crush..who she now knew confidently loved her too.

Finally I have finished a Happiness Charge chapter of this and now can know I have done every season besides Wonderful! Which makes me happy.

And now that I am back from my day out I can explain better (Sorry for anyone who read this before and were shocked how little I spoke lol) Anyway so Hime x Yuko. Yeah I was originally gonna do a different paring more weird and very what if like but then I decided to watch some Happiness Charge for a little marathon I am doing of the mid seasons (Now only Max Heart to go to finish up to Star Twinkle, Hooray Hooray me on that one :) and I watched episode 20 and wow..the romantic cuteness of having Yuko tell Hime she loves her was just to easy not do.

And while I know it's likely suppose to be platonic, I couldn't help myself. Especially since Hime is one of my favorite cures in the series so talking about her was to easy! :)

Besides that I don't have much else to say, besides my absence as of late might still be happening, depending on how the next few weeks go. I do wanna work on a little redmeptives fic I have been wanting to do for some time but it's been..just a bit harder this year. Which is why I've done a lot of other stuff even if Precure will always be the biggest focus for this account!

And done! So then let me explain my rational behind this fic! It's actually from reading last week a ton of older Yes 5 stories. I do admit I have basically combed through a good amount of work in the past for this franchise for the goodness of fics. And one thing that inspired me to finally do this was the yes 5 fics that would be simple one shots with cute confessions or wholesome Yuri content. I mean one of the earliest Yes 5 fics is literally about Nozomi x Komachi! Who would have though of that? And that is why I decided to go with a cute idea I had in the vain of them.

Namely for a confess spurred on by a cannon event of the show! Especially since while it's arguable to say Komachi and Karen had a stronger confession idea (I mean they are best friends and this fight did hurt then strengthen their relationship) but when rewatching these episode a few months ago I was actually kinda shocked how good Urara and Rin's fight was.

Like the entire episode it felt realistic and captured both characters perfectly and how emotional they can get. So why not use that to make a ship happen! Especially given only in Yes 5 they kinda didn't have anyone since Nozomi has Coco, Komachi has Nuts, and Karen has Milk (Although that happened much later) but Urara and Rin did not have anyone. So I am surprised it wasn't a popular crack ship from back then. So why not focus on it since it could be cute! And I get to make Rin a real blushing mess again which you all know I love doing.

But since this is a Yes 5 related story after Friends in Need I should let you all know I am working on the next fic in my Redemptive Verse. It is going to be one I try to finish this month and then release during December in batches like Christmas Gifts! So that's why you haven't scene it yet. But I am hard at work with it and laughing how Otona is just making my job way to easy and somehow perfectly connecting to my ideas for the fic. Although it will take a different turn I should make clear.
