Work Text:
A twinkle of laughter filled Jimin’s room. Ever since the party, things between them progressed at a rapid speed, but everything went smoothly. Jungguk had taken the invitation to sit with Jimin during class, which later extended to having lunch together.
They were assigned a mini project for Mr. Choi’s class, which required them to research Mesoamerican history. Taehyung had rented ‘Apocalypto’ on Youtube, saying that it would make their research easier—no one agreed. Jungguk had done his own research on the movie and had voiced how ‘unhistorically’ accurate the movie was and the controversy around it. Regardless of everything, they watched the movie. Jungguk and Jimin were sitting on Jimin’s bed with Jungguk’s back against the headboard and Jimin sitting between his legs, back to chest. They were sharing a bowl of popcorn that was resting on Jimin’s lap. On the floor, with their backs against the foot of the bed were Taehyung and Yoongi, sharing their own blow of snacks.
Taehyung and Yoongi were having an animated conversation over the movie as Jimin laughed at them. Jungguk, on the other hand, just smiled at them. He knew that the movie was not going to help them in any way, but it was a good idea to hang out outside of the university.
Jungguk caught movement out the corner of his eye and turned towards the boy between his legs. Jimin was looking back at him, his beautiful eyes glossy from the tears they released while he laughed. He catches Jimin biting his lips and his eyes slowly tail down to see those plush pink lips, wanting nothing more than to feel them against his again. Meeting Jimin’s eyes once more, he notices the blush on his cheeks.
Telepathic communication, who would have thought.
“It’s getting late,” his voice sounded rough. “Tae, why don’t you give Yoongi a ride home?”
“But it’s only,” Taehyung looks down at his watch, “8pm.”
“Yeah, plus, I live a block over,” cut in Yoongi, “it’s not that far.” They were both confused as they looked at each other. Yoongi was about to respond again when Jimin’s soft tone beat him to it.
“Read the room, hyung.” Not once did Jimin remove his eyes from Jungguk’s.
“Nasty ass, bitches,” huffed Yoongi as he stood up from his spot on the floor. “Let’s go Teddy Bear, these two ‘bout to fuck.” Yoongi picked up his bowl of snacks as he hissed, “I’m only taking this to the kitchen out of respect for you ma,” and he walked out the room with Taehyung following behind him. He gave the two an offended look.

The memories of their first night together were blurry due to the alcohol that was swimming in his veins, but he knows that this, right now, was different. Jungguk’s movements were more controlled. Every thrust had a purpose. Jimin was on his back, legs hooked around Jungguk’s narrow waist. One of his hands was buried in the alpha’s inky dark locks while the other gripped at his ass, squeezing with every direct thrust. Their lips never left the other’s. Sharing breaths as they looked into each other’s eyes.
The next difference he caught was that Jungguk was trying to maintain control and not knot him. It’s a little too late but his consideration was appreciated.
“Knot,” moaned Jimin as he received every thrust Jungguk gave. “Knot me again, alpha. I really want your knot.” Jimin threw his head back.
Jungguk’s k9s itched again. He can still see the faint mark he had left on the omega’s shoulder a few weeks ago, but this time he wasn’t going to do that. “Fuck, I want to mark you again,” he groaned. “Do you like this pillow?” he asked, referring to the lone, tattered baby blue throw pillow that had yet to fall off the omega’s bed. That poor pillow was about to live its last day on Jimin’s bed, but omega’s voice saved it.
“You could bite my shoulder again. I like it.” Jimin moved his head to the side, turning to look at the bedroom door. He knew his mother was working late tonight, but he’d be embarrassed if she walked in on them.
Jimin’s vision turned blank as Jungguk’s teeth sank into his shoulder again—a little higher than before. Closer to his scent gland. His body spasms as Jungguk shoved his knot in him. Pure bliss filling them both, his toes curling in unadulterated pleasure. Jungguk’s alpha purring in content as Jimin’s omega chirped in satisfaction—communicating to one another as their human selves bathed in bliss.
Jungguk’s face fell into Jimin’s neck. His nose nuzzling into Jimin. He caught a whiff of a new scent, but his brain wasn’table to process it. It wasn’t new. His alpha would have been able to catch the change. No, it was older, but he welcomed it.

Things were better than before. Like that night together solidified what they were. Every morning, Jungguk would arrive at his house on his bike, that his mother hated. When they arrived at the university, the alpha would walk him to every class. For lunch, Jungguk and his group of friends started accompanying them. They even had to move tables because the number of alphas and betas sitting with them now was astonishing.
The downfall to all this? People began talking.
He wasn’t a stranger to snide comments from his peers. Someone would get mad that he was partnered with someone they liked or because he was too smart. Whatever the reason, someone always had something to say. He prided himself on staying out of any physical confrontation, choosing to use his brain to get out of any situation, but unfortunately, today that wouldn’t work.
It was Thursday, most of his classes didn’t match with Jungguk’s, so he found himself walking to his math class alone. One of Jungguk’s friends walked by, greeting him with a quick fist bump and a node from his omega. Jimin smiled. The alpha’s omega had yet to join them for lunch due to his schedule but Jungguk was planning a small bonfire so they can all hang out and all get to know each other.
The happy thought of making a new friend was ruined when he neared the class.
“Well, if it isn’t the gang’s slut,” hissed Haeyoon, an omega from his class and one of the popular students in his class.
Jimin just ignored her. Haeyoon was a pretty girl. Her freshly bleach blonde hair look beautiful on her, complementing her fair skin, but her attitude was horrible. Her comments towards him have gotten worse since she learned of his friendship with Jungguk. He wasn’t sure why, since as far as he knew, her and Jungguk weren’t in any type of social circle together—let alone have a relationship.
“What? Wolf’s got your tongue?” she scuffed as she followed him into the lecture hall. She kept talking, all falling on deaf ears, and he reached his usual seat in the center of the second row. “Hey, I’m talking to you, hoe!” and she shoved his book bag off his seat.
“Well, I’m not talking to you,” he huffed in annoyance. His omega was beginning to feel agitated. Her cherry blossom and citrus scent was causing his stomach to churn in slight discomfort. He was feeling nauseous again. He bent down to grab his bag when a whistle filled the air. “I really can’t handle the two of them, right now,” he mumbled as he heard Seung-hyun, the local pervert alpha of the university. His steps were getting closer, so Jimin stood back up, brows creased in annoyance. As he turned back towards the front, he felt something cold splash on his head.
“Stupid ass hoe,” smirked Haeyoon as Jimin looked back at her. She tossed her now empty bottle of soda at his chest. “That should teach you not to ignore me.” She felt proud of herself.
Jimin’s omega took over without a second thought. It felt threatened by the omega. Jimin knew his omega wanted to protect something or someone, but he wasn’t sure what. His eyes glowed ice blue as he lunged over his desk knocking Haeyoon to the floor and rained his fist down on her. His omega ready to eliminate the threat towards them.
Jungguk is rushing down the hall, his class let out late due to the exam they were taking. The heels of his boots clacked against the floor with every step. Laying across his arm was his leather jacket he was trying to give to Jimin since he had texted that the room his next lecture was in was always freezing. As he turned the corner towards Jimin’s class he saw a group of students and staff crowding a room. A female was yelling and crying while growls followed. Everyone was talking, speculating about what had happened. As he grew closer, his wolf began feeling agitated. It begged to be let out and protect someone. But protect who?
“Bro!”
Jungguk looked for who called him and saw his friend Mingyu shoving people out the way. “Gyu? What’s going on?”
“It’s Jimin, hurry!”
The alpha follows his friend as they shove students and staff out of the way. Entering the lecture room, he sees Jimin straddling his annoying classmate from his biology class. He whaled down punch after punch as growls vibrated through his chest. Seung-hyun stood a few passes away, being held by some alphas, blood dripping from the scratch marks across his face.
“Jimin?!?” Jungguk dropped his things and rushed towards the omega. His arms wrapped around Jimin’s waist and hauled him off the other. Jimin struggled in his hold as he tried reaching for Haeyoon who was being treated by the professor. She was crying hysterically. Her cheeks and eyes were red, singling the early signs of bruising. Her nose was twisted in an odd angle, and her lips were cut. Jimin had done extensive damage.
Jimin kept growling and snarling as he tried getting out of Jungguk’s arms. His claws digging into the meat of his arms.
“Hey,” shushed Jungguk, digging his nose into Jimin’s gland. He was met with that new scent again. It was milky, underlining Jimin’s citrus and vanilla scent. His wolf thrashed within. It knew what that scent was, and it wanted to destroy both Haeyoon and Seung-hyun for putting his omega in danger. But before he could do anything, Jimin went slack in his hold. “Min?!”
Everything after was a blur.

Jungguk paced the waiting room of the hospital as he waits for the doctors to get back to him. He had called Jimin’s mother as he followed the ambulance. They were heading to the hospital where she worked and he felt the need to tell her first before she found out threw a colleague. Ms. Park hadn’t made it to him yet, quite possible checking in the with the doctors who were tending to him. He sits and places his head in his hands, hiding his face.
As Jungguk had predicted, Jimin’s mother rushed to the ER to see what she could learn of her son. All she got was ‘he’s still asleep’ and ‘we sent out an order for blood work’—bloodwork for what? They didn’t say.
As the double doors to the waiting area opened, Jungguk looked up and saw Jimin’s mother walking towards him. Her pink scrubs sticking out like a sore thumb.
“What happened?”
“I’m not sure,” he stood from his seat. “I was going to go drop off my jacket to his class when I heard this commotion. I went to check it out and Mingyu told me it was Jimin.”
Ms. Park noticed how panicked Jungguk was, and her alpha started feeling agitated. There’s something else.
“I’m not sure what exactly happened or why, but I pulled him off and he kept fighting me. Clawing me.” He subconsciously touched his injured arm. “It’s like he was feral. Trying to protect someone or something. He wouldn’t stop. I scented him and that when he passed out.”
Gers began turning. Just one more push and he’d spill. He was too panicked to hide it.
“What else?” she placed her hand on her hips.
“I-ah, um,” Jungguk closed his eyes and took a deep breath. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Please forgive me,” he whimpered.
“What?”
“I think Jimin is pregnant.” He felt a sting on his cheek after the words finally left his lips. “Deserved.”
“You fuckin’ dumbass!! You had my son on that death trap while he’s pregnant?! Do you know how dangerous that is?!”
“Dr. Park, Jimin is awake.”
They both rushed towards the nurse who had called Ms. Park and then towards the room. He wanted to see Jimin. He wanted to make sure that he was okay. Did Jimin know he was pregnant? How far along was he?
It hurt to keep his eyes open. It felt like someone was raining a sledgehammer on his head. The annoying beeping of the heart monitor was making it worse. The doctor had yet to see him, but the nurse had informed him that they had already contacted her. The nurse had also told him that his mother and Jungguk were already on their way to see him. He would have scuffed if his head wouldn’t hurt with any slight movement.
As if the universe was against him today, not only did the doctor walk in with his nursing staff but his mother and Jungguk walked in at the same time. Jungguk was quick to get by his side and take his hand in his larger one. His thumb caressing the back of his hand as the two doctors greeted one another and spoke.
“Dr. Park, I know patient is your child, but he is also an adult.” the doctor looked towards the couple before continuing, “Truthfully speaking, it is their decision if they want you in here to listen to what I have to say.”
Dr. Park scuffed in annoyance. “Dr. Kwon, with all due respect and as Jimin’s mother, I have a right to be here. Why? Because who other than I, his mother and only parent, would know the best course of treatment for him?” her auburn eyes intensified with both anger and dedication.
“So, you already know?”
“Know what?”
They both turned to confused Jimin and a nervous Jungguk.
“Mr. Park, we ran bloodwork to see what had caused your omega to take control and we found that your hCG level was high. We have an estimate of how far along you are, but we would like to do an ultrasound first to confirm our prognosis.”
Gulping, Jimin asks, “P-prognosis?”
“Min,” Jungguk’s soft tone had Jimin turning towards him. “We think you’re pregnant.”
“But we didn’t, until ye-yesterday.” His eyes grew glossy as he searched the alpha’s face for an answer.
“Baby, that wasn’t the first time I knotted you,” whispered the alpha, scared to look towards the two doctors in the room. One being the omega’s mother. “Remember that first time, at Hoseok’s party?”
“I'm pregnant?”
“Yeah.” chuckled Jungguk as he took Jimin’s face in his hands and kissed those rosy lips.

Jimin didn’t go back to school for the rest of the month. His mother excused him for the time being to rest and catch up on the lessons he missed. It wouldn't affect him because his professors would post their power points, lecture notes, and assignments on their online portal, so he was able to keep up to date with everything. It also helped that his friends and Jungguk would bring him his assignments.
He did learn that Haeyoon and Seung-hyun have been suspended pending a trial before the dean and council of their peers. Jimin may be sassy and called a diva by his friends and Haeyoon may be a bully and Seung-hyun a pervert, but they were still good students. Well, that’s what he told himself.
Jungguk was as diligent as ever. Before school, he would swing by the Park home and make sure that Jimin had everything he needed. After school, he would arrive with snacks and food for the omega, as well as do his assignments there while they waited for Dr. Park to arrive home from her shift. He was glad to say that he learned a lot about being an alpha to a pregnant mate from her. He would sit with her as she cooked dinner and talked about her day. He heard stories of how she and her mate were before her mate passed.
As the months went by, the couple had their difficulties. Jungguk had a large falling out with his family when his beta mother called ‘gold digger’ and accused him of baby trapping her only alpha son. His family agreed with her. But Jungguk didn’t let that stop him from being happy. He quickly moved out and into the Park home. He still laughs at the face his mother made when ran into one another and learned that Jimin’s mother was not only Dr. Park but also the Chief of Gyno. What topped it off was that her father, Jimin’s grandfather, was a world-renowned doctor.
‘Gold digger, where?’ Jimin was raised to not care or look for luxury in life.
But what the couple cared for the most was the milestones they experienced as their pup grew in Jimin’s belly. When Jimin woke up in the middle of the night and made a quick dash to the restroom, Jungguk followed. When mood swings happened, Jungguk smiled through them like a champion. When the random craving at random time hit, the alpha was ready and willing to run across town to fulfil it. When Jimin felt that first little flutter, he hugged him close and reminded the omega how much he loved him. When he felt the first kick, he knew Jimin wouldn’t judge him if he cried. And he cried like no tomorrow.
When Jimin’s chest began to grow as he grew further along in the pregnancy, Jungguk learned a new kink he had. He couldn’tkeep his hands of the omega and was counting down the days their pup was born so he could breed his mate again.
That also meant that he had to get rid of his bike. He didn’t care because his alpha wanted to take Jimin in the back seat of their new car. Yeah, Jungguk’s alpha went crazy for his pregnant mate.
When their pup was born, Jimin learned that all the cravings, mood swings, hurt, and pain were worth it. With Jungguk being tall, he was told that the baby was a big baby, being born via c-section. But, three days before the scheduled birth, Jimin’s water broke while in the shower and birthed the pup naturally. A tiny little thing that reminded him of himself in his baby photos.
Jeon Jiwon had a perfect likeness to Jimin with Jungguk’s nose and lips—including the tiny mole under his lip. Jimin couldn’thelp but feel like the luckiest omega. A loving mate and a beautiful, healthy pup. Maybe he should thank Hoseok for hosting that party.
