What the hell?
" Hey! I'm walkn' ere! " Ashlyn said in her New York ascent (Long story).
Gina had just recovered from whatever that was, when she saw him. The guy who almost ran them over.
He had taken off his helmet to see who he almost ran over. He was a tall boy but not much taller than her , maybe only a few inches. He had a curly mop over his head, a hand ran through it. A leather jacket so black the night sky would be jealous.
Cute.
Than he winked.
Super cute.
She blinked herself back to reality and remembered the previous five seconds when he almost ran her and Ash over.
" Jerk." Gina muttered under her breath. But that didn't change the fact that he was still cute.
He started his bike and rolled away, leaving the girl with there thoughts. Gina looked over to Ashlyn an eyes where still in the detection on the bike boy, her expression unreadable.
" Welp, that just happened. " Ash broke the silence, finally saying something. " Hey, is your sister Maddox still living with you? "
Gina rolled her eyes.
" Well, duh. Where else would she be? She only in her senior year, no college. Why? "
" Just wondering she hadn't said anything since we kinda...kissed. And I kept trying to talk to her at the slushy shack but her dad-"
" You mean my dad? Sorry this is just kinda weird since she's my sister. "
" I get that, it's like how your dating my cousin. "
" Yeah... " and out of nowhere his red convertible came rolling in. Gina smiled.

" Hey guys! Guess what? The water polo guy made me finally apart of there team, so no more E.I'd place across town! Isn't that cool? " Gina's eye twiched as her friend gushed in her cousin presents.
" That's so cool E.J! " Ash explained
" Yay...more changes. " Gina muttered, forcing a smile.
❤
"Well well well. If it isn't my friend the dirt biker. Your daredevil ways finally caught up to you, huh?" Gina said, a smug smile on her face.
" What are you here for? Concussion? ACL tear? "
" Nope. Cancer. " Ricky said rolling his eyes. God, this girl was annoying.
" Dude, it's not funny to joke about cancer. " Gina face now stern yet amuse. Gina started to walk closer to where Ricky bowen was. " Let's see why you're actually here. "
Gina opened his chart and gasped at whatever was in it.
" Oh my God... I'm sorry... I thought... " Gina continued to stammer. Ricky cut her off.
" Because of my shampoo commercial hair? Yeah, no, it's just leukemia is back again. " Ricky looked pissed.
" No, I meant because of how you were riding your bike earlier, I--" Ricky cut Gina off, again.
" Hey, I get it. You are not the first person to think that my cancer is a dirt bike injury. A couple years ago, my leg just wouldn't stop hurting, And I thought it was because I was messing around on some ramps that me and my buddy made out of a swing set in his yard, but nope. Acute lymophoblastic leukemia. And I have been in and out of hospitals ever since, so. " Ricky pause.
" Doctor, can I ask you a question? " Ricky continued.
" Yes, of course. " Gina replied.
" Ok, um...what is the treatment for when you put your own foot in your mouth? "
" I deserve that. " Gina said nodding and looking unfazed my his snarky comment. " I'm Dr. Porter by the way. " Gina stretch her arm out, expecting him to take it. He slapped her hand are than shock it, fast.
His hand was warm, and made her tingle.
" I figured it was you. You know I went to your old high school, East high. Occasionally. I'm Ricky, but you saw that in my chart. You know with the chemo and the cancer. "
" -It's nice to officially meet you, Ricky. We have a fantastic oncology department and I'm just so sorry we got off on the wrong foot- I mean, you know what I mean. " Gina chuckled nervously.
" Wow, " Ricky smirked. " You should see your face right now... You know, maybe you should check into this hospital. If you need tips, I am very, very friendly with registration, so I got you. " Ricky sighed sounding found of the conversation, well the end bit, then laid back in bed chucking. He was probably glad it was over.
Gina didn't know what to think, so she walked out of the room confused.
