Chapter Text

"Hi, I'm Harry. I'm with my future wife. Call back another time, I'm not interested in talking right now."

Pansy Parkinson threw her cell phone against the couch, she had agreed to use those muggle things to understand a little more the world that had been part of Harry. But right now she couldn't stop thinking about all the possible reasons why her future husband and her friends still hadn't returned.

What if Voldemort had returned from the deadand would have kidnapped him?

Her heart was beating faster every second. And her nails regretted being nervous; it had taken her so long to get a manicure yesterday.

She could no longer bear to look at herself in the mirror. Her white dress, adorned with green flowers, was beginning to make her nauseous. She would kill Harry Potter if he thought of standing her up at her own wedding.

Her turned away from the mirror and saw Hermione dialing on one of those Muggle phones. "Is there any news? Did they send any patronus?"

"They didn't answer any of the patronus, I don't understand why. I'll try calling them one by one" Hermione said as she typed something into that demon device, next only silence ruled the room.

"This is Draco Malfoy. If I haven't answered you it's because I'm not interested in talking to you right now. Don't bother. Leave a message, or not, as you wish."

Hermione watched her in grief. None of them had answered her Patronus, and now it seemed that none of them planned to answer the damn Muggle artifacts, Pansy thought she would kill her boyfriend first and then each of her friends.

"I'm going to try it myself" Ginny interjected, she proceeded to do the same as Hermione but this time Blaise's voice had spread through the four walls.

"I don't even know how to use this, I was just trying to help Draco. I can't talk. Go bother Theo."

"They're morons, we taught them how to use these things," exclaimed Ginny waving her cell phone. "For emergencies and they didn't cooperate when we told them to get familiar with this."

Luna, who had remained completely silent, rose from her place on the couch and approached Pansy. She patted her back. She did the same as her other two friends, but it seemed she was sure Theo would answer. Pansy was already running out of patience when she heard Theo's voicemail.

"Hello, this is Theodore Nott. I can't answer right now, if it's urgent look for me at my girlfriend's house. Or go bother Blaise and Draco."

"Well... I think they're in trouble" Luna whispered, turned to head back to her original spot on the couch.

Pansy alternated her eyes around the room. She didn't dare look towards the window because everyone was arranging the decorations for her wedding that looked like it was about to be called off. She saw Hermione with a frown on her face as she typed back and forth on her device; assumed she was texting Draco. On the other side, in the corner of everything, was the Weasley girl conjuring a Patronus again. The only one who seemed to be calm was Luna, who was tasting some of the pudding she brought from the kitchen.

Pansy thought that the worst might have happened: did he marry someone else there? Did he fall in love with a sexy blonde Muggle with a promising future ahead of him? She didn't even want to think that could have happened.

She jumped as a ringing sound reached her. Her heart seemed to leap out of her chest at any moment.

"It's Draco!" shouted Hermione, all four of them looked at each other in surprise, even Luna had put aside her pudding. "Hello, Draco? Where…?"

Pansy had been quicker and snatched the cell phone from Hermione. "Where the hell are they!?"

"Eh? Pansy? I thought I called Hermione." She heard him clear his throat. "Well, Pans, something serious happened and I think—"

"I'm going crazy," she interrupted him. "I hope you are aware that I will kill you myself. Every last one of you," she hissed.

All she could hear were murmurs and her could recognize Blaise and Theo among those voices.

"It was a disaster. The stag party, all night," Draco hesitated through the cell phone. "We lost control and we lost Potter too."

"What! What do you mean they lost Harry?" her voice cracked and Ginny let out a shriek of surprise.

They must have lost him because Harry would have left her with a very famous Italian model who was in Las Vegas?

"Actually, we didn't find Potter," him corrected.

"Draco, what at hell! Harry and I are getting married in five hours!" exclaimed Pansy losing what little patience she had left.

The whole room fell silent. Hermione was biting her nails as she spun around in circles and muttered things to herself. Ginny was completely stiff in her place, she hadn't moved at any point and her face only conveyed worry. Luna, on the other hand, was staring at a point fixedly on the floor as she twirled the necklace she was wearing in her fingers. Pansy felt that at any moment she would stop breathing.

Draco sighed. "I know, but I don't think it's going to be possible. We don't know where he is."
