Chapter 1: Prologue
Chapter Text
He let out a breath, watching the white cloud rise from his mouth. It was FREEZING, and the cold air made Tweek shiver. His (not his) hoodie was doing nothing for him.
"Knew I should've brought a coat..." He kicked a rock in frustration as he grumbled meaninglessly. He was never gonna bring a coat, not with the offer of this hoodie. His hoodie... Just felt appropriate to complain.
He continues grumbling to himself, a plastic bag wrapped around one hand, as both wrapped around his chest to hold himself. He could still see white puffs of his breath in the air and the sight brought an onslaught of nostalgic memories.
These memories of playing in the snow repeated in his mind, and slowly a small smile stretched his chapped lips. He walked along to street, until he heard a sound. it was kinda like a Nike tire loosing air...
The sound froze him. It was definitely a high pitched hissing sound. And it was getting closer. He struggled but try as he might he couldn't move. He was frozen.
The rustling of leaves reflected on his now shaking form. He tried and struggled but none of his muscles still wouldn't move!
A clawed hand gripped his face, and he let out a final squeak before his eyes rolled into the back of his head. He couldn't even shout anymore...
He felt a sudden and sharp pain in his neck and his throat contracted to scream but his muscles were still frozen! Hot tears of fear and frustration ran down his cheeks and he suddenly gets incredibly lightheaded before everything blurred and he blacked out.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tweek blinks, the world coming into focus. As he finally starts awaking he hears voice fussing above him, "Fuck, shit no no no no! Tweek I'm so sorry, FUCK!"
Tweek closes his eyes, turning over. He grumbles softly and the voice above let out a relieved gasp, "Yes, okay you're not going to die buddy! I can't... I would never forgive myself..."
He closed his eyes but heard a sharp intake of breath and then something being cut? Whatever it was hissed with a whine.
The sound intrigued his groggy brain, so he tried to open his eyes to see. The voice again spoke, "Okay, just drink this... I'm so sorry Tweek, god I'm so sorry..."
He felt a clawed hand turn his head, upwards and to the side. He saw an arm, that was... dripping? Why was the arm dripping? Did it cut itself? Suddenly a small hiss of pain from the removal of pressure sounded as the cold drip began down Tweek's face.
A cold liquid made it's way into his mouth and he squeezed his eyes, trying not to gag at the coppery taste. The person above him sounded to be sobbing, but that wasn't much his concern, as when the liquid stop, so did his vague awareness of the conscious world.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The second time he awoke he could tell he'd been moved. It was dark and the air was damp. He sat up, but a pain pulsed through his head and forced him back down with a hand on his forehead and a groan.
"Yeah... sorry that um... usually comes with it..."
The same voice from his... hallucination? No, the pain was still pulsing at his neck... He brought a hand to the remembered point of contact and felt smooth skin. He whispered, "What...?"
He opened his eyes and slowly sat up, looking around. His eyes adjusting to the semi dark room and he saw... Clyde?
His eyes widened in panic and he looked frantically around before whisper shouting, "Clyde? It's nearly daybreak you need to get out of here!"
The other looked sheepishly at Tweek, wiping his mouth fervently, "It's actually um... Sunset?"
Tweek blinked, "H... how?"
Clyde didn't answer, instead looking guiltily at the blonde. His pointed ears facing the earth and his eyebrows pinched together as he looked away, wiping at his mouth again, "I fucked up."
Tweek sat up fully now, waiting for an explanation with a bewildered look. His face was cold and everything felt.. wrong? His stomach hurt and he was so confused.
"How'd you fuck up... and where's my phone?"
Clyde just sat in silence looking at Tweek look around himself for his phone.
He wiped his mouth again and hopped down from the ledge where he was sitting. He crouched in front of Tweek and the former looked at him, raised brow and all.
"I went too long without any blood. I was doing a stupid fucking bet with this one guy from my commune... 'Who can stay without blood for the longest?' Stupid ass bet looking back... Plus, he was apparently cheating the whole time and was just hoping I'd... I dunno. Do... what I did?" Clyde was rambling, This... isn't a good sign.
"What.. what did you do...?"
It took several moments for Clyde to respond, and in those moments tears gathered in his eyes, guilt leaking from every orifice on his face.
"I attacked someone. I attacked you. It was bad man... there was fucking blood everywhere I was just... why'd it have to be you on that trail that night? Fuck..." He seemed to choke suddenly a sob catching in his throat as he finished explaining.
Tears were freely falling down Clyde's face and Tweek sat there, processing.
"Well... I survived?" He offered, confused and helpless.
"Cause I turned you!" Clyde broke down, sobbing.
Tweek sat, eyes wide and face stuck in a blank and confused expression. He just stayed there, quietly.
"Huh?"
Clyde just sobbed, on his knees in front of Tweek, head laying in the lap of the other as he held Tweek's sides in hysteria. The blond just sat there, not fully processing what was just said to him.
Almost in a daze he reiterated an earlier question, "Where's my phone?"
He looked again, mumbling something about how worried Craig will be as he more fervently searched. His hands shook and he half heartedly asked Clyde to help him look, just causing more sobbing from the born vampire.
"Tweek, stop! You can't go back, what the fuck would you tell him?" He threw his hands in the air and drifted the Tweek's side, trying to hold him.
Tweek just shook his head and shrugged off Clyde's comfort, "I gotta tell him something he'll be so worried, I promised I'd only be gone an hour or two."
Clyde grabbed on of Tweek's wrists and forced the dazed blonde to look at him. His voice shook, but the words he spoke were clear, "Tweek... You're a vampire."
The blank stare filled with tears for the first time as he shook his head. His whole body shook as he pushed the other off of him, "No! I can't I have to-"
He stood and looked around in a panic but Clyde caught his wrist again and they made eye contact. He broke, falling to the ground sobbing. His whole body wracked with the sobs and Clyde clung to him desperately.
That was the last time Tweek ever stooped so low as to gain sympathy from Clyde. His attacker. The man who ruined his life.

Chapter Text
"As flattered as I am by your flirting, I'm still gonna have to call my boss," The glass in his hand clinked lightly as he set it on the bar top. The man in front of him just smirked, dazed and nodded
Tweek shook his head, annoyed and turned walked to the corner to look for aforementioned boss.
"Leo? We have a code human." Tweek pointed with his thumb behind him.
A head popped up from the back room and Leo's annoyed expression spoke louder than words (that he still said), "Fiddlesticks..."
Tweek smiled lightly at the exclamation, snorting with a held in laugh as he walked back out behind Leopold. He grabbed a fresh rag as well, picking up the glass he had set down as Leo dealt with the intoxicated man.
"How did you even get in here? I commissioned a ward be made!" He fussed, physically shoving the human towards the door.
Said human had dirty blond hair that swam down his back, and scruffy facial hair underneath a dopey smile. He whistled and smiled at Leo, "Aren't you a pretty thing!"
Leo just glared, pushing the man fully out of the bar. He slapped his hands together, rolling his eyes at the human, but the dusting of pink on the tips of his ears didn't lie.
"So the human huh?"
"I have a ward, how did he even get in! I paid good money for that thing, it better not be defective!"
Tweek laughed quietly, the other making his way back behind the bar as he rambled. There weren't many patrons tonight and the most of them were grouped up, talking quietly among themselves. Tweek cleaned the glass with a small smile letting his thoughts wander back as they often did.
...It had been 3 years since he'd been turned. He's only been working at Leo's bar for around a year but it could be worse. He could not be here at all.
he knows without Leo, he probably would've died or killed. Which was insane, Leo has only been a vampire for a few years more. He looks younger, as he was turned at a younger age, but the man is wise. And kind. Very kind.
He looks back, the blonde has light blonde hair that's has with an undercut and currently curled, as he usually has it. His blue eyes darting around as he hums what's probably a childhood nursery song.
One of his eyes is faded into a milky blue color and has a faint scar overtop it. He says he got the scar when he was younger and doesn't remember how, but Tweek is sure he knows. The way he looked distant whenever he asks about it is telling.
"Tweek? Did you hear me?" Hands wave into his face and Tweek blinks up at Leo.
"Huh? Sorry Leo, what did you say?"
"Do you know that guy? He keeps looking at you..." Leo pointed across the bar and Tweek turned, face frozen in shock as he saw the other. The glass he was cleaning crashed to the ground and Leo made a ridiculous exclamation that went unheard by the shorter blonde.
He just stared, deep brown eyes wide. Then, the other looked at him. He at least had enough decency to look embarrassed.
His black hair had grown long, at least shoulder length, but he looked so similar to how he did 3 years ago. His deep eyes, a color so ambiguous Tweek had always spent hours just trying to find the right word for them, stared at him. His tan skin was flushed after being noticed.
"Craig..." He whispered it. And as he did, a new passion exploded behind his eyes, and a very honestly unwarranted anger filled his face, "CRAIG!"
The other jumped, and all other patrons looked towards the blonde bartender. He hopped over the bar after Leo mumbled something about another human, and really needing to get that ward checked, causing a separate ridiculous "swear" from him.
As he stormed up to him, Craig suddenly busied himself with dusting off invisible dirt from his dark blue jacket. Tweek grabbed his collar, pulling the tall man down to his level... A foot or so down...
Craig stared, blinking slowly before cautiously speaking, "Um... Hi?"
It was so funny to Tweek, he just had to laugh. It was harsh and cold, but the sound brought out one of Craig's "smiles", if it could be called a smile. The slight lilting of one corner of his mouth that so many wouldn't notice.
"Fucking Hi? Haven't seen you for 3 full years and all you have to say is Hi?" Tweek released Craig's collar and crossed his arms, letting the other stand to his full height.
Tweek looked up at him, a flush coming to his freckled cheeks that he couldn't stop. He blinked away the expression, pulling off the bandana holding back his shoulder length hair. And hiding his pointed ears.
"What else am I supposed to say? I've been looking for you..." He crossed his own arms now, raising a brow.
"I don't fucking know, not 'hi'. Feels a little impersonal for someone who... um... Y'know!" Tweek blinked at his words and tried to finish the sentence, "I fuckin dated for a majority of my life."
"You could have continued to date if, I don't know, you stuck around?"
The comment brought a fresh flush of anger to his face, "You really think I wanted to leave? How the fuck would I have explained THIS?" He gestured at his whole body, but really the face would have been more accurate.
"Of course not, and a text would have been enough! Or at least made me a little less worried..."
"You don't understand what I was going through, Clyde-"
Craig held a hand up, "Clyde told me everything already. Yeah be shocked, you really thought even after what you put me through I still wouldn't search?"
"Well I haven't heard from you in years!"
"YOU'VE MADE YOURSELF UNCONTACTABLE!"
"THAT'S NOT A WORD, DUMBASS-"
"TWEEK." Tweek turned at his name. He'd barely noticed how their voices had raised in the few minutes (seconds?) they'd been reunited.
"Sorry Leo..." The small blonde's ears tilted down in a guilt Craig had never seen, and he eyed the expression curiously.
"Craig?"
At the suddenness of his being addressed Craig blinked, voice cracking as he responded, "Yeah?"
"Come back tomorrow. I..." He turned away, his body language conveying his sincerity, "I need to think."
Taken aback by the sudden openness, Craig only nodded, confused as his arms and legs moved almost robotically to walk him out of the building.
Tweek watched him go, a frown plastered on his face, repressed guilt suddenly surfacing.
"Tweek?" A hand was placed on his shoulder and he turned to face Leo, "I would have let you go..."
He just shook his head, looking back at Leo almost affectionately, "No, I... I wasn't lying. I need time. I get why he's mad. I just can't help but react in anger too..."
He laughed, but it was wet and force, his ears still downward facing. Leo just frowned, taking Tweek into his arms with a hug, "I get it. I still don't understand how he got past the human ward. He looked human enough."
The mumbling went again unnoticed by Tweek as he pressed a cheek into the taller's shoulder. Silently crying as he was held.
Chapter 3: Relief
Summary:
2 years before? Kinda...
Notes:
Craig POV for a bit! This'll mostly be in Tweek's POV but I'll slip in a chapter or two from different people's POV. Also Craig is fuckin 6'4 in this, that's why everyone keeps commenting on how abnormally tall he is (because he is)
Chapter Text
Craig sighed, leaning his back against the door. His heart was pounding and his face was still flushed.
He was here. Clyde wasn't lying...
He cried out, happily, as the widest grin he'd ever accomplished made an appearance on his face. He slid down the door, relief apparent to any onlooker.
Realizing how crazy he must look, silently crying with a wide smile outside a bar, he slowly got up. He didn't bother fussing with the now real dirt on his jacket and instead shot a quick text Clyde's way, "You weren't lying... He was there... Thank you."
Pocketing his phone, he started walking to his current "home".
It was just a motel room, not too far but not really anything of note. It had everything he needed, and that was enough.
He walked up on the motel, pulling his key from the pocket of his jacket. He'd paid for nearly a month to stay there, and silently thanked his sister for keeping money in her bag at all times.
Of course he had money of his own, but he was a bit tight when Clyde finally told him where to find Tweek.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
He met Clyde nearly 2 years before, and he admitted almost immediately he knew about Tweek and him. He explained that Tweek had ran away and honestly, he didn't know where he was either.
Craig did immediately try and kill him. Well, mostly strangle, but the murderous intent was there.
That's when Craig found out all the magical creatures and "myths"... weren't myths. They were real.
After Craig's hands had been removed from the vampire's throat he quickly explained in a now hoarse voice what had happened. He explained the bet and the attack.
...And the year that Tweek had stayed with him after he was turned.
"Turned? The fuck you mean 'Turned'?" Craig held the vampire again by his shirt, his voice sharp and cold.
Clyde held his hands up, ready for another attack from the angry human, (who was shockingly cold on this spring day) "I um... he was about to die so I um... I may have made him a vampire so he didn't... die?"
He did try to strangle him again. He knew it wouldn't work, but the feeling was satisfying to him.
Clyde coughed and held his throat, glaring up at Craig, "Okay, I know I deserved it the first time... and probably this time, but I really would like to help you find him!"
This made Craig pause, "Help me?"
"Yeah Tweek... Tweek was obviously a little angry with me," Craig rolled his eyes at the understatement, knowing Tweek he probably tried to kill Clyde himself, "And he um... ran away a month or so ago. I heard you'd been searching for him and I... I wanted to help. I wanted to do one thing right by him..."
The vampire looked down, his deep red eyes no longer fearful, but now guilty.
Craig groaned aloud, and finally backed off of Clyde, holding out a hand to help him up, "Fine, fucking... fine. If you want to help me find my boyfriend who you made run away, fine. Do so."
Clyde's eyes lit up and he grinned, wide and toothy. Ignoring the offered hand he shot up into a hug, shocking the tall, TALL man.
Craig froze, confused, before pushing Clyde off of him, practically snarling, "I'm accepting your help, but we are not friends... And if I have any say we never will be."
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Craig fell back onto the motel bed, the smile refusing to leave his face. Of course he was angry, he'd be crazy not to be, but he was mainly relieved. Tweek was here. He saw him... It wasn't a dream. Not this time...
And he looked so different too. He seemed more relaxed and his hair, god his hair. It was so much longer now...
His face flushed as a thought poked its way into his mind. Slamming his hands into his face, he rolled over so he was laying face down.
Tomorrow. They'd see each other again tomorrow. Craig couldn't wait.
His phone buzzed, and he hesitated before looking at it, "y would i lie???? dummey."
Craig rolled his eyes, not bothering to respond other than marking it as read. His phone buzzed a couple more times but he ignored as well.
He would've fallen asleep then, if only to make the time pass faster, but his phone started actually ringing. Which meant one thing.
"Trishhhhhh," Craig says into the phone, forcing a lilt that he didn't feel into his voice.
"Where are you dumbo?" She demands.
Straight to the point, damnit, "I don't have to tell you."
"I'd like to know where you're using my money."
He flinched. She found out quick... "Finding someone."
"Is it Tweek? You know he's probably just fuckin avoiding you or some shit."
He could almost hear the eye roll. This was a constant argument between the two after he moved back in with his parents.
"I saw him today, so no I don't think he is... Asshole."
"Damn, all your stalking paid off?"
"Can you shut the fuck up actually?" His voice grew scratchy, anger seeping into the words.
He could almost hear her flinch from the other side, and she stayed silent for a bit. He felt guilty for snapping and he hesitated, "Sorry, I just... you know it's a sore spot Trish. I wouldn't harp you if Karen suddenly stopped talking to you!"
"One, you would. Two, we're not dating and she doesn't even like me so it's a different situation entirely!!! Shut up."
Her voiced upped itself in pitch and he smiled a little, and it was silent before she says, "Look, I'm sorry I keep harassing you about Tweek. I'm... I'm just worried. We only have each other really."
"I know Tricia, I'm sorry I left again. But I found him this time... He's here."
She sighed into the phone and they were silent again, both of them.
"Okay. Please come back though. All your shit's still here anyways."
He laughed a bit, though it was thoroughly strained, "I'll always come back."
"And that's the difference between you and him."
"Trish," He scolded automatically. She wasn't wrong, but it was still mean.
"Sorry. I love you."
"Mhmm, stop getting sappy on me. I'll see you soon," He waved even though she couldn't see it.
Her next words were barely above a whisper, "Don't...don't come back the same as you did last time... Bye Craig."
She hung up, and he fell back onto the bed again. His sister always did this. He was the older one, she shouldn't be fussing over him like this.
He rolled to his side and scrolled through his old photos, mostly of him and Tweek. The smile he had been harboring before, made it's way back onto his face as he avoided thinking of the phone call.
He fell asleep doing this, as he did most nights. Dreams full of hope, a little resentment, and relief.
Chapter 4: Rekindle?
Summary:
Tweek and Craig are gonna see each other again. And neither could be more excited... Or nervous.
Notes:
This switches to Leo's POV for a bit halfway through the chapter but I promise I made it obvious.
Also sorry if it seems to cut off very suddenly, I was writing a lil too much and decided to just post what I have as two separate chapters so... Hopefully y'all will have the second half of this soon enough
Chapter Text
Tweek collapses on his bed. His face entirely flushed and the fact he had to leave work early was no help to his embarrassment.
He groans into his own hands and curls into a ball. How did Craig still effect him so much? Even after all this time...
So... so much. He debated internally for a while, sitting up and looking at his pillow. He mouth was straightened to a line and he knew he would hate himself if this is how he got to sleep... Again.
He shouted, so loud he was sure Leo could hear him from below, and reached under his pillow to grab his hoodie. Destroying any dignity he may have had with it.
He shoved the dark blue material to his nose and curled back into a fetal position. Craig's smell had long faded from the garment, even with his enhanced senses, but he still got the same comfort from doing this.
He hummed, shoving his face further into it as the usual sense of serene washed over him.
He would be civil tomorrow. He would be nice.
He repeated the words until he fell asleep, still buried in Craig's hoodie from 3 years ago.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
He woke, not gently but all at once. His eyes shot open and he sat up. Craig shouldn't be coming round until his shift but his body still buzzed with anticipation.
"Damn you emotions..." He grumbled, the hoodie still balled in his fists.
He looked down at it and glared, "Horrid thing... making me feel all safe and shit..."
He swung his legs off of his bed, but only after shoving the hoodie back in its hiding place.
He quickly got dressed in his usual, (Leo had introduced him to leggings and now he couldn't stop wearing them), and stretched. He tied his green bandana back into his hair and looked at himself.
Good, like a normal person... vampire. Whatever.
He nervously fidgeted with his outfit, as if suddenly the slight movement of his cream colored sweater would make him fucking irresistible or something.
It didn't, but he still finally got everything in a place where he didn't mind. And walked downstairs.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
That really was the upside of living above your workplace. One; he doesn't pay rent, he just kinda works for his stay (he even still gets paid well for his bartending job), two; he can really get ready whenever he wants and never be late.
He was super early today, however, and the nerves were getting to him. He always shook but this was almost as bad as when he was younger and his parents were feeding him meth still. Oh how he missed those days of shaking and paranoia.
He tried deep breaths but he honestly ended up just panicking more and more until a hand on his shoulder almost sent him through the roof.
"FUCK!"
"Tweek, it's just me!" Leo removed his hand quickly, holding both up.
Tweek blinked up at him. He took a few breathes before holding his hands together in front of him and looking back at Leo, "Heyyyyyyy, what's uppp?"
His voice shook and he stretched a grin. Leo looked sympathetically down. Damnit.
Leo crossed his arms, concern written blatantly on his face, "You can leave again if you need. This is nearly as bad as when I first found you, are you sure this 'Craig' is good for you?"
Leo rambled but as the last part was uttered Tweek turned so swiftly it made the other shriek in surprise.
"I DON'T KNOW," Tweek threw his arms into the air and started pacing as he ranted, "He makes me feel so happy but at the same time I worry if after all this time he'd even still love me, I mean I know I maybe love him, shuddup, but what if he just wanted me for like... I don't know to look pretty or something!"
Leo just kinda looked at him with a weird expression as he continued to rant, "Oh thank goodness, he's just nervous..."
Tweek didn't even hear Leo as he continued to just ramble. Leo let him, making him stay in back as he ran the bar.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Leo hummed some tune to himself as he served the few people coming in. He noticed Craig come in and he frowned, still thinking about the ward.
He busied himself with cleaning some of the glasses and waited for Craig to approach the bar. Before that however he heard the door open again and he could swear he smelt the human from yesterday again.
Leo groaned, putting his forehead on the counter in frustration as his eye twitched.
Then, very suddenly the air got cold. COLD cold. He was a vampire, so he barely had any blood in him but he still felt how cold it got.
Leo shot upwards, looking around for the source in a panic. It wasn't hard to spot, as the area was almost glowing in a minty green color.
"Oh... oh that's why the ward lets him in!" he whispered to himself, grin wide.
Until he looked at the source of the tall magic user's anger. The human. His face fell immediately, "Shoot..."
He lifted the bar and walked over, looking nearly as angry as Craig, who's eye's were about the same minty green that surrounded him.
"Okay, I don't swear often but you're a fuckin dumbass!" He pointed a finger at the Human's face and he just blinked, confused.
He started rolling up his sleeves and pushing the human out of the door once again, "Making a damn witch mad, do you have a death wish?" He mumbled and the human tilted his head at him.
"No?" The questioning lilt made Leo laugh, but he tried to stifle it as he pushed this human away from Craig.
"Tweek is in the back, go on!" He called back and the air immediately returned to normal as the other darted back behind the bar.
Leo shook his head with a slight smile. Now for this god damned human.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tweek wouldn't admit it, but he was glad that the backroom was so dark. Less sensory details to take in, so it helped.
He had taken to sorting the stock room, making sure everything was in it's place when and angry shout knocked a glass right out his hand on onto the floor. More than the scream what shocked him most was that it was Leo.
Leo doesn't yell, what happened?
As he got up to investigate, he heard the bar counter being lifted and re entered. He relaxed, assuming it was Leo coming back, but when Craig came walking back, Tweek just froze.
He blinked up at the taller and simply whispered, "...Fuck."

Chapter Text
They stared at each other, an amber brown meeting a dark swirl of turquoise. Everything seemed to stop, even the air felt more still as they both stared.
"Hi..." Craig looked down and away, repeating the word he'd first uttered to Tweek in three years.
Tweek snorted, actually fucking snorted, and sat down in a crate behind him. He look at Craig almost fondly as he rolled his eyes, "Again?"
Craig shrugged, then walked over to where Tweek was sitting and sat down beside him. Tweek looked away from him, hunching his shoulders a bit as the other simply scratched his head.
Tweek was still shaking, though much less than before. He chewed a bit on his lip before trying to sneak a glance at Craig.
... Only to see the tall man staring back.
Tweek's eyebrows scrunched together and he opened his mouth to question it but ended up just shaking his head and mumbling under his breath a phrase of endearment.
"Hm?"
"Nothing Craig."
Now Craig wore a look of confusion, tilting his head slightly and letting his shoulder length black hair fall around his face.
Tweek looked away again. He's too fucking pretty!Tweek's cheeks puffed and he was turning red.
"You okay?" Craig leaned down with genuine concern crossing his features, or at least as much that would show on his face.
"What do you think?" He snapped, suddenly, confusing Craig again.
"Sorry, I was just asking..." he mumbled, raising his shoulders in what seemed like guilt and moving slightly away.
Tweek looked back at Craig, upset by the space he created again, before sighing and mumbling to himself,"Can't keep my stupid mouth shut...."
"I mean, I've never minded," Craig looked slyly over, not fully turning his head but the slight upturn of a corner of his lips spelled out his amusement for someone who's eyes seemed to constantly be stuck on them.
"Shut up, we're supposed to be having a sweet reunion moment!" Yet his entire face lit up red and embarrassed, betraying his angry projection.
"I mean we shoulda when I first came to find you... But someone got mad at me for finding them," Craig rolled his eyes but his expression was leveled again in a neutral mask.
"Not exactly the reaction I would've chosen! As if I have a choice..." His voice cracked and he hated himself a bit for it. He was 25! Now is not the time for adolescent voice shenanigans...
Craig noticed, rolling his eyes again before speaking, "Not one that's deserved either."
"I get it, fucking hell I'm sorry Craig, but you make me feel things okay? Damn!" Tweek threw his hands in the air and stood, not noticing the slight tilt to Craig's head or the way his eyelids dropped.
He looked at Tweek, turning his head away before scratching the back of his neck, "...That's the first time you've even apologized. "
Tweek squinted, exasperated, "Oh jeez, I'm sorry we've only been back in contact for 2 days! No we haven't, I have none of your info actually..."
Tweek now tilted his head, looking up lost in thought and Craig just shrugged, "Not my fault. I tried giving you my number through Clyde but he said you refused."
"It was like a year after he bit me I didn't trust it not to be a trick. plus... um... I didn't have a phone then. He broke it in the attack."
"He didn't tell me that."
"Of course he didn't, he didn't want to be fucking dead!"
Craig actually snorted at that, bringing a hand to cover his mouth, "What's funny about that is I did try and kill him when we first met!"
"Of course you did, he walked up to the most stoic asshole of all time to tell him he killed his boyfriend. Dumbass," Tweek placed a hand on his hip and made a show of rolling his eyes, drawing out another laugh from Craig.
"I'm not that much of an asshole! Fuck man."
"You have literally no friends, they all left you cause you were too mean."
"Mm, not really. Me and Tolkien are still pretty close. He's just busy... Though I guess you're right. I apparently chased off the person I cared most about," The last part was whispered, and definitely not for Tweek's ears, but something about superhuman senses didn't make it through Craig's thick ass skull.
Tweek very suddenly turned on him, poking at his chest, "Not your fault I had to leave."
"I mean, you didn't have to. Plus for the first year I really felt like it was something I did. Didn't help I couldn't reach you... 'this number is no longer available'. Really made me think you hated me and were just waiting for a chance to leave," Craig shrugged, but he was a little more robotic with the movement.
Tweek shook his head, standing up and pacing away from Craig, "Why would I want to leave the best part of my life behind?" He turned his head to look at Craig, "I was moving in with you..."
"I don't know, you've always teased me about how mean I am I though it finally got to you too..." He looked away, a little more sincerely. And sad. Much more sadly.
Tweek bit his cheek, the guilt he'd been feeling building the more they talked. It weighed heavy on his shoulders even without knowing exactly what he'd put Craig through, but hearing about it? Yeesh, he'd rather a stake drawn through his guts...
But Craig continued, "Didn't help that at every corner Trish was certain you'd left me. She judged me when I broke my lease and moved back in and then moreso when I lost my job.... She was just worried about me and judged me less than dad but... Yeah it still hurt."
His face was kept at a true neutral, but he barely looked at Tweek and had a distant look when talking about what happened when he'd left.
Tweek bit his lip and walked back over to Craig, forcing the man to look up at him and taking his large tan hands in his pale ones, "Look I'm... I am sorry. I... if I could've just told you anything I really would have."
"I know. I'm. I just get so angry whenever I think of how you left me. How betrayed I felt," Craig squeezed Tweek's hands, not in comfort but not quite in anger.
"I'm sorry... Really I-"
"No I get it. I don't know what I would've done in your situation to be completely honest. Not been friends with Clyde woulda been a start," He stated it sarcastically, but it fell flat as he looked so sincerely in Tweek's eyes.
The look however, only caused the smaller to bite his lip in thought. They'd been okay at this back then. Okay at communication and boundaries and all that relationship shit, but this? This was a lot. So much more emotion than either of the men regularly expressed and in such a short amount of time?
So Tweek did the only logical thing. He took Craig's sincerity and openness, and slam dunked em in the trash as he surged forwards to kiss him.
It'd been so long since he'd last felt Craig's lips against his own, the sensation itself making him want to collapse into a puddle and shout at the top of his lungs all at once.
He remembered the feeling well though, and he followed an old habit as he was the one crouching down to reach Craig (for once).
It was soft though. Soft and emotional and overwhelming. So when Craig finally pushed him away, (all without letting him go) he went.
"Sorry, I just-" "Wow, forward aren't we?" They both said, talking over one another.
They paused, still looking at each other, before breaking down laughing in each others arms.
"Fuckin hell, we're bad at this. Shit..."
Craig nodded, smiling up at Tweek, "Were we ever really the best?"
Tweek scoffed but wasn't letting go of the taller man. Not again. Not ever.
Tweek took a deep breath and took the other's face in his hands, forcing eye contact as he spoke, "I'm sorry I left. I should've found away to tell you what happened."
Craig just stared, near unblinking before pulling the blonde into his lap and pressing his face into his shoulder.
"I found you..." He mumbled into Tweek's shoulder, and the shorter felt the tears.
"You did... Thank you for never giving up..." He wrapped his arms around him and kissing the back of his head lightly.
"I think I would've rather died than give up on finding you..." Craig said, finally pulling away to make eye contact.
"Well, thank you for not dying too then."
"Dumbass..." But he muttered the word back into Tweek's shoulder, rendering the insult useless.
The two sat together, intertwined for the first time in years... and then Craig's phone rang.

Craig's eyes widened and he quickly separated himself from Tweek as his phone rang. He grabbed it and asked Tweek if there was a back door outside.
Tweek pointed it out silently but was sat confused as the other rushed out. He barely even registered that the panic in his eyes was actually reaching out to his face.
The large back door into the alleyway slammed back shut and he heard a "Hello?" From Craig on the other side.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Red got attacked!" She yelled, as soon as Craig picked up.
"Slow down T, what?"
"You shouldn't know about it but there's shit like vampires and werewolves and whatever the fuck in our world. Fuckin scary right? Yeah, but I'm what we call a 'myth hunter' and no, that doesn't mean that we hunt myths to make sure they're really real, usually it means we kill dangerous myths that threaten human life! Um anyways-”
"Trish slow down, breathe! I know about vampires and I assumed there was others. I didn't know there was hunters but I guess that makes sense..." He thought to himself as his younger sister gasped shallow panicked breaths from the other side.
Craig sighed, and with more compassion he asked, "What's wrong?"
"Red! She... she um," The younger girl sniffled into the phone, apparently wiping her nose with a sleeve from the rustling that followed, "She got turned... By her ex boyfriend. Some guy almost killed her and..."
Tricia gasped again and he heard a second, more shrill voice try and comfort her.
Craig just nodded, but heard the door beside him creak. Tweek.
He looked over at him, but spoke to his sister, "What do you need me to do?"
"Please come home!" She cried, loudly and suddenly into the phone.
Craig blinked but nodded, "Okay, I'll be there... I'll always be there when you need Trish."
She sniffled through the phone and Tweek approached with a confused and concerned expression.
"I'll head over tomorrow. Probably with Tweek if that's alright?"
He tilted his head towards the smaller man, and even with the concerned scrunch he wore, his mouth tilted in that miniscule way.
Tweek nodded and went back inside, his worry overtaken by another wide smile.
"What? NO! Craig, no one can know about it!"
"Huh? He won't know. I'll make sure of it, " He said desperately and with more confidence than he felt.
"Well, why um HOW? How do you plan on keeping it a secret! He used to be so snoopy, how do you know he won't poke his nose in the wrong place?" Craig winced, remembering all the arguments that pertained to the same thing.
He dropped his voice to a whisper, and tried to add a comforting tone to his voice, "I'll protect Red, Trish. Plus, I don't think he would risk it."
"Risk it?"
He shrugged, even though she couldn't see him, "We're still pretty fragile, I guess."
His voice barely managed not to shake and he hated how much he believed the statement...
Tricia stayed silent, but he heard her cover the phone and more voices. Arguing. Then she was back, talking loudly into his ear, "Fine. But you have to help me explain why her eyes are red!"
Craig hesitated, before asking for himself, "Why... are her eyes red?"
She sighed, obviously exasperated with him before either remembering how new he was to this, or just how oblivious he actually was from the solid smack that sounded from the other side of the phone.
"I don't know if she'd want me to tell you, but I'll just tell you not all Vamps have it and ones who do..." She sucked on her lip as she debated internally, (or Craig assumed she did, if all her habits didn't suddenly change after Craig left), before continuing her sentence, "are the ones I'm... usually sent. after."
He heard her hold a breath, awaiting his answer.
But he didn't quite fully graso what she said. Like she usually hunted them? Why? What had they done to deserve persecution? ... Why didn't he know any of this?
He just sat there confused, "Look, I'll be there tomorrow afternoon. I love you Trish. Tell Red I love her as well."
Tricia stayed silent for a bit but he heard more rustling before she responded, "Yeah... love you too Craig. See you tomorrow... with Tweek."
She seemingly sneered the last part, and Craig loyally decided he didn't pick up on her faint disdain for him.
They both hung on the the line for a bit afterwards though. They didn't want to hang up.
Then they did.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"There's HUNTERS?!?" Tweek whisper shouted, after cornering Leo in the storage room.
The taller blonde just tilted his head, almost in confusion, "Of course! Why do you think those random human come here every so often. They check my supplements to make sure it's not real blood."
He shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal, but Tweek shook. In fear or anger, neither could tell.
"Why didn't you TELL me? Y'know, resident vampire bartender?" He hissed at Leo.
The other just shrugged again, "They have no reason to go after us! We're not a danger to humans and we obviously haven't drank anyone yet," He just gestured to their faces, as if it would make everything obvious.
Tweek just stared, letting go of his boss's collar as he confusedly looked at Leo.
He barely knew anything about the man, but he at least considered them friends. He was frustrated. Angry even.
"I still would've preferred to know about the dangers of this life!" He crossed his arms across his chest and turned to face away from Leo. He wasn't being fair and he knew it, Leo had taught him how to survive... But still!
"Look, I'm sorry Tweek," He walked over and placed a hand on the shorter's shoulder, "I taught you everything I thought to! I knew I would be able to keep you safe from them, so I thought it unnecessary to worry you so much more."
Tweek met his eyes, his anger fading quickly as he saw the other's genuine sincerity too apparent and obvious to have been a lie.
He sighed, arms dropping back to his sides before he hugged Leo, "You're right. Sorry."
Leo patted his back, "I should've told you either way. But you are safe, I promise."
Tweek nodding, trying to believe him no matter what his instinct said.
He stayed here awkwardly look up at Leo for a time before 'suddenly' remembering something.
"Hey Leo?"
"Hm?"
"Can I take like... a month or so off? Not that long, but at least a little bit I just want to-"
Leo smiled, a small smile on his lips before he patted Tweek's back, "Go ahead."
"Huh?"
"Go ahead Tweek, I don't mind it if you take a bit off. This would be your first break in like 5 months."
Tweek smiled wide at him, pulling him into another hug before running out and back to Craig. To tell him the good news.
... And maybe invite him upstairs.

Chapter Text
His eyes were open, had been open, yet he hadn't made a move to get out of Craig's arms. He'd woken up hours ago, (not as much sleep needed anymore), but he was indulging in the comfort of the heavier sleeper's arms.
He sat there, biting his lip and worrying. He had no idea why they were heading over other than "family stuff" and that wasn't the best explanation in any world. Even with the lesser need for sleep he still felt tired. Maybe it was all the emotions? Yeah...
Craig's breathing hitched slightly, and the small blonde was pulled into him suddenly as Craig seemed to try and curl in around him.
This was what Tweek decided was the reason to finally get up.
So he did, poofing from Craig's vice grip and poofing back into the space beside his bed.
"I should really learn to rely on my powers more, yeesh I don't remember that being so difficult..."
He dusted himself off and began to get dressed. He threw on a white graphic t-shirt with a stupid plant decal and hesitated before grabbing the hoodie Craig wore yesterday from off the floor.
He then threw on a pair of black jeans and he had sat back down to put socks on when Craig slowly opened his eyes.
He sleepily tilted his head and mumbled, "... You're real?"
Tweek winced, "Yeah, I deserve that."
He still slumped a little as Craig heard his voice and darted up to a sitting position. Tweek looked back over at him.
They stared for a bit, until Tweek decided it was a tad too domestic for his guilty heart to handle and he stood abruptly before throwing Craig some clothes.
"We're going to Tricia's today yeah?"
Craig's eyes were still following Tweek, even after being thrown clothing. He took a bit, but eventually he nodded.
Tweek tried to look busy but kept glancing back at Craig. As obviously as he was, he was surprised at how long it took for Craig to snap at him, "What? What're you staring for?"
He hesitated but ventured to ask anyways, "Why... Why are we even going? If your sister is some almighty vampire hunter than what's so bad that she cant handle it?"
His voice shook a little as he asked, withheld aggression seeping into the words.
Craig just looked at him... and shrugged, "She said I can't tell you."
"AND YOU'RE NOT GOING TO?" He half shouted before remembering he wasn't alone in this house, "Sorry I'm just... UGH. I HATE BEING LEFT IN THE DARK CRAIG."
Craig just did his amused lilt of the mouth thing and shrugged again, "It was a condition of you coming."
Tweek just grumbled a bit but calmed considerably after that. As much as he wanted to know... he wanted to be there more.
3 years was long enough, they didn't need to be separated for longer.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"It's fuckin 80 degrees out here!" Tweek complained as the two walked from the bar to the nearest bus station.
Craig just looked at him, "You're the one that'll die if his skin makes contact with the deadly laser we have for a sun."
"I don't DIE.... I char!" He said, which earned a small amused huff from the other.
Tweek was still angrily mumbling as they finally were able to sit. They sat awkwardly together, as if they didn't remember how to do this.
Be together, that is.
Maybe they didn't. Maybe they just needed a new way to slot together...
Tweek started leaning more towards Craig before the screeching of bus tires startled him so bad he jumped... Which caused Craig to laugh.
He grumbled, embarrassed, pulling the drawstrings on the hood to close it more around his face as he got up after Craig.
Craig paid for the fare and led Tweek to two seats in the back. Side by side.
"It's an hour or so out so... feel free to nap or something..." He shrugged awkwardly before stuffing his small bag above the seats.
He shuffled in the inside seat, contorting his tall body to be smaller as forced by the cramped seat.
"You can sit on the outside if you need?"
Tweek approached, but Craig just shook his head, "I'd rather not get back up unless absolutely necessary."
Tweek looked very confused at him but chooses to just nod sympathetically. Well, sympathetically as his 5'4 stature could.
He took the seat beside Craig, bumping their sides together as he went to rest his head on the other's shoulder... if he could reach it.
He was bored and a bit tired so he decided to just nap all the way there, dreamily asking, "This okay?" Before promptly drifting off without a response.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Someone shook his and he grumbled at them. They seemed to sigh "Tweek? Wake up, we're here."
Tweek groggily blinked, looking up at the speaker. Craig?
Oh. Right, family emergency.
He yawned, stretching and almost knocking the hood off his head. He rubbed his eyes leaning towards Craig and grabbing the fabric of his jacket (which he'd produced after Tweek stole his other hoodie).
He was still rubbing his eyes as he absentmindedly let the other lead him off the bus, holding his sleeve as he walked behind.
He heard the bus leave behind him and finally fully opened his eyes, the sleep having been removed by his incessant rubbing.
He blinked up at the stop they were at and grinned. It was the same one near their old school bus stop.
"Maybe I should visit my parents..."
Craig looked down at him, genuine confusion scrunching his face, "Sarcasm?"
Tweek laughed, but nodded, "Honestly I don't even know if they've noticed how long I've been gone. I know... I think they love me but they've never been... there? Eh it's nothing, lets gooo!"
He quickly detached himself from Craig, embarrassed about the word vomit and walking quickly ahead.
Craig took a few longer strides to catch up and they settled into a walking pace. Craig was getting noticably more worried (bad sign if it was even noticable for him) as they got closer and closer to his home.
"Hey, Craig? What's up? You look worried..." Tweek stopped them, tugging on Craig's sleeve to bring his gaze down.
He just blinked a bit before puffing up his cheeks and letting kut a breath, "I may have not been home in around 6 months. Maybe."
Tweek stared at him, before humming, "Really? Damn."
He just shrugged, though the motion was robotic and shaky, "I was maybe looking for a certain someone. Maybe."
The guilt would not let up but Craig turned and kept walking like he'd said nothing.
Tweek caught up as fast as he could and slowly took hold of the other's hand, "I... I am sorry."
"You've said." He glanced down, but continued walking.
He tugged lightly on Craig's hand, a little annoyed, "Cause I am."
Craig stopped fully and Tweek ran suddenly into his back. He sighed, "I know you are," He turned and leaned a bit down, "It still hurts. It's gonna hurt. For a while."
Tweek looked down, avoiding eye contact and tugged again on his hand, "I know."
Craig stared harder, before sighing again and continuing to walk. But he gave Tweek's hand a little squeeze as they walked up to his old home.
Or... well just his home now. He didn't have the apartment anymore afterall.
They made it up the steps and Tweek heard Craig's breath hitch as he knocked on the door, loudly, three times.
"Coming!" They heard from inside. Then a lot of rustling and the door suddenly unlatched, and a short girl with long red hair, glasses, and a purple long sleeved shirt glanced out at them.
She barely had time to open her mouth to call out before they heard stomping feet and a call, "CRAIG!"
Tricia launched out the door and tackled Craig into a hug, knocking her and him onto the ground.
"You came!"
He just did his small smile, "You called."
As the siblings hugged Tweek looked in at the girl. Oh, it was someone from their elementary... Tweek didn't know they were related...
"Red?"
Chapter 8: Remember

Notes:
Hehe I forgot to post it (this has been sitting in my notes app for days) (yes I write this all in my notes app, don't judge me)
Anyways, it was getting too long so that's why the ending seems a little rushed
My bad guys have fun reading
Chapter Text
She blinked up at him before waving nervously, pushing her tinted glasses up her nose and backing into the house.
"Come in..." She mumbled it but motioned enough that he got the meaning. He muttered a thank you and walked into the house. Craig and Tricia walked and talking (Tricia was talking, Craig was listening) coming in right after them.
Tweek picked up on their conversation as they made it into the house, hearing Tricia harping on Craig, "I don't forgive you for stealing shit from my bag."
Craig shrugged as Tweek glanced at him, smirking in the small way he did at his sister, "I know."
Getting seemingly more annoyed Tricia added, "I also don't forgive you for not coming home for 6 months."
"Understandable," Craig just nodded at his sister, utterly unflustered.
"You're impossible!" She shouted, puffing up her cheeks, but pulling Craig into a hug that just seemed to confuse him as he shot a glance at Tweek.
Tweek rocked back and forth on his heels, nervously fidgeting beside his old schoolmate, who was awkwardly still. He glanced over at her, almost confused. She seemed... toned down. She used to be confrontational and loud but here she looked... docile. Scared even.
She glanced at him, sideways and seemed to panic as she adjusted her glasses and turned fully away.
She was.... definitely different.
"Okay!" Tricia clapped her hands, startling both Tweek and Red, "So Tweek, you may remember Red, even if you didn't know she was our cousin! Red, this is Tweek, Craig's boyfriend. I think."
She shot a glance at Craig and he full out shrugged, confusing about everyone in the room.
"Whatever, he's a dumbass and he knows nothing, you decide which one I'm talking about, Red," The poorly whispered comment caused Red to snort before covering her mouth and turning away.
"Anywayssss... Yeah I gotta talk to Craig so have fun you two." She pointed at them with finger guns before awkwardly shuffling upstairs and pulling Craig with her.
Tweek stood still, for once in his life. He glanced over at Red who was definitely looking scared now.
His breathed in and very nervously stretched a hand out for her, "Uh... hi?"
She held her hands close and looked up at him, blinking.
This will be.... fun. Fun is the word we'll use here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"You can't tell him," Tricia hissed up at Craig.
"You already said that, and I haven't told him shit yet. Which he's pretty upset with me over so, you're very welcome."
"Oh shut the fuck up, he's always mad at you for something!"
"Trish," He warned, but she still continued.
"No, I'm serious Craig. The last time you were with him you would always complain about how he'd get pissed over the tiniest things," She wasn't shouting but her face told she wanted to be.
"You didn't even see the last couple years of our relationship, shut up," He was now sneering at her, anger radiating off of him like a cold wind.
"Calm down. Geez. I don't mean anything by it! I just don't want you to get hurt. You moved back in with us after he left! You were broken for so fucking long... I just don't want you to go through that again..." She grabbed onto his jacket sleeve and stepped closer, her eyes wetting with frustrated tears.
"Tricia..." He pulled her into a hug and talked into her shoulder, "He won't Trish. If you knew why he left you'd understand... He knows he's hurt me."
"Then he won't again right?" She pulled away, her eyebrows knitted together and her face hard as she asked.
Craig shook his head. She stared longer and just sighed, "You know I don't believe you."
"I know."
"However," She pointed a finger up at him, "I am willing to trust you... I still don't like him."
"That's fair," He shrugged.
She looked up for a moment longer and pulled him back into a hug. They stayed like that for a bit until Tricia again pulled away and asked, "Why did he leave anyways?"
He just smirked, "If you're allowed secrets, so is he."
"CRAIG."
He laughed, actually laughed, and started walking back down.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well... this was definitely incredibly exciting and fun.
They'd both eventually migrated to the couch, sitting at opposite ends.
They didn't even talk to each other, it was literally just silent until they heard Tricia shout from upstairs and then the stomping of feet down stairs.
"Hey Red, sorry I didn't get to greet you before this here little girl decided to kidnap me."
Red actually smirked up at him, "She does that."
"HEY, I'M 20 YOU FUCKERS."
They laughed at her before Craig quipped, "And you still live with your parents?"
"Shut up, you're 24 and still live with us too."
She stuck out her tongue at him, and as the mature one he flipped her off without even looking back, smiling down at Tweek.
Tweek laughed, covering his mouth with a hand and glancing at Red to notice her doing the same.
He smirked, tilting his head at her a pointing a thumb at the siblings who were back to arguing (though more light heartedly it seemed), "They haven't changed since we were younger, huh?"
She slowly turned to him, quickly wiping obvious nerves from her face, "Uh.. yeah. They... haven't changed too much."
She turned from him again, leaving him confused. When did she get so... nervous?
Whatever, he was getting hungry so he walked over to Craig, tugging on a sleeve.
"Yeah?" He turned quickly, face immediately contorting in concern.
Tweek held up his hands, "I'm alright Craig! I just wanted to know which room we're staying in..."
"Oh," He blinked but pointed up the stairs, "You remember where my old room was? Well just my room now I guess..."
Tweek nodded, "Thank you," Pulling him down to give him a peck on the cheek before walking with both of their bags in tow.
God he had forgotten how exhausting they can be... he'd also forgotten how much he'd loved it here.
He's staying this time, he's not letting this go again.
Ever.

Chapter Text
He shoved Craig's bag beside his own on the desk that remained from his teenage years and grabbed the duffle bag full of those fuckin supplements that Leo had packed for him.
He unzipped the bag and snorted as he saw a note from Leo, which in short said, "Don't be dumb, stay safe and come back!"
"Such a mother hen..." Tweek shook his head, retrieving a packet and sticking a straw through it with little effort.
He sipped on it, making a gagging sound, and shaking his head. He stuck out his tongue but continued idly sipping on his only real food source.
Of course he could eat 'human' food but he can't each too much of it at a time and it was just extra effort to keep his stomach settled.
He did miss a few foods though.
He sighed, sitting on the bed and flopping back with an exaggerated "oof". The bed creaked under his weight and he half snorted. Mattress must've been the same as when they were teens too.
He closed his eyes and sighed. He was dazed and half snoring by the time the door creaked open.
"... Tweek?"
He raised an arm but kept his eyes closed and could almost hear him shake his head before closing the door.
The mattress compressed beside him and he turned to look at Craig.
"Hi."
Craig grinned in his small way, "Hey."
Tweek turned fully, sitting up to look at Craig, "So, hows the fam? Red's acting weird, right? I'm not making shit up?"
Craig's eyes widened near imperceptibly before he straightened his face and shrugged, "A bit i guess? I don't know, haven't seen her in like a year."
Tweek stared at him before sighing and falling back into the bed, "Fine, don't tell me weirdo."
Craig looked at him apologetically before standing and stretching. He started to change so Tweek, like he'd never seen any of this before, turned his head and studied the side table intently.
He saw a small framed photo of Craig and his family when Tricia was just 3. He stuck out like a sore thumb, tan with dark hair against pale with red or blonde.
"I always forget Laura isn't really your mom-"
A shirt suddenly covered his face and he turned to Craig, whose arm was still extended.
"She's all the mom I needed thank you very much."
Tweek held up his hands, "Sorry I'm... thinking before speaking isn't a strong suit."
Craig snorted, pulling a shirt over his head, "I never woulda guessed."
The same shirt previously thrown landed on Craig's head and he shook with silent laughter.
"You getting changed?"
Tweek shook his head, "Not tired... Nocturnal remember?"
Craig nodded, yawning, "Well I'm going to bed, feel free to join me at any time."
He stretched and kissed Tweek gently before throwing himself on the bed and turning on his side. Tweek looked down at him, for once, and stayed until he was breathing softly.
Tweek smiled at his back before retreating to the outside world and to the balcony of the backyard.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
He sighed, eyes closed as the wind ruffled his hair. He hummed, content in the suprisingly warm night. He'd drained yet another packet while out here and was now just kicking his feet, deep in thought.
He heard creaking and in sudden high alert and panic, raised his hood and turned.
Red.
"Oh... you. Hi."
He blinked but raised a hesitant hand in response, "Hi...?"
She looked down at him and seemed to near scoff before sitting in the opposite end of the deck.
That's the Red he remembers.
They sat in silence for a bit and he turned to look at her, trying to be subtle as he glance over.
She stared at the sky, the soft wind billowing her long red hair. Her face was twisted in something sad and she almost seemed to have tear running down her face.
Tweek hesitated but asked, "You okay...?"
She turned and furiously wiped the sadness and tears from her face, "Of course I'm fine. I'm with my cousins and my uncle and aunt, what more could I want."
Her words dripped in sarcasm but she just sniffed and stood, "Giodnight Tweek."
She didn't quite sneer his name but he flinched nonetheless, "G... good night?"
She was already inside.
He sighed, resolving that being inside and bored would be better than another encounter, and started up the stairs to Craig's room.
