Work Text:
It was regular day in the hotel, the hotel’s manager- Charlie, was discussing about the recent hotel activity she has planned with her father and the hotel’s host, trying to get their opinion about it.
The activity had something to do with drawing pictures of their favorite hobby to do and having explain why it is. “So, what do you think it?” Charlie asked the two, looking ecstatic about her new idea for the residents.
“I think it’s great, Charchar.” Lucifer smiled softly, twiddling his fingers atop his apple shaped cane.
Alastor nodded shortly after Lucifer’s comment. “Why yes, I believe that is a quite wonderful idea, my dear!” The King’s expression tightened, holding back a frown upon the very obvious sugarcoated agreement from Alastor.
Charlie then squealed, where Lucifer’s genuine smile proceeded to pull back at his lips. “I’m glad you both think so!” She jumped up and down excitedly. “I’ll go find Vaggie and gather everyone in the main room!”
She then sprinted out of the door, still very energized. “I’ll get you guys when everyone’s ready, see you later!” She peeked out of door’s frame and waved over to the pair before disappearing back behind it.
The King and the sinner stood beside each other in silence for a moment, after making sure that she has gone far enough, Lucifer sighed. One of his hands moving up to his forehead, looking conflicted. “She seems so determined.. I hope she knows what she’s doing.” He murmured, causing Alastor’s gaze to focus onto the shorter man.
Alastor hummed. “Oh? I thought that you would ‘support her dream, whatever lies in store’, your majesty?” He recalled with a raised brow, bringing a hand up to gesture his two fingers in quotations.
Lucifer’s expression visibly hardened upon the mere sound of the Radio Demon’s voice speaking to him and glanced over. “Yes, and I will support her dream.” He remarked with a stern look on his face. “Something that you won’t stop me from doing.”
Alastor chuckled, amused. “I just find it hypocritical of you to say that you believe in her, but then still be hesitant about it.” He leaned over to the Ruler slightly, attempting to make better eye contact with him. “It could be rather hurtful to lie about something so important to her, your highness.”
“I am not lying to her.” He argued as his crimson pupils turned into slits, similar to ones of snakes. “It’s just... Complicated. Knowing how Heaven is.” He slowly turned his body to face away from the sinner, still glaring at him.
“You would know, wouldn’t you?” Alastor added with narrowed eyes, awaiting for any signs of frustration within the fallen seraphim.
Lucifer’s eye twitched ever so slightly.
Bingo.
“I will be taking my leave now.” Lucifer then turned away completely from the sinner. “I wouldn’t want to worry my daughter.” The King began to walk to the door, Alastor standing still in his place.
Alastor grinned maliciously. “You know.. Your daughter seemed so hopeless before I came along.”
Lucifer stopped dead in his tracks.
“Her precious hotel seemed so dull, sad, and broken. And I couldn’t just leave it like that, now could I?” He turned to face the seraphim, who was still turned away from him. “When I made some renovations and brought along some friends of mine to join, she was rather gleeful at my help.”
No words came from the King.
“Ever since then, we’ve been just the closest bunch of apples. ” He smugly twirled his microphone around before placing it back on the ground and leaning on it. “It’s almost like we’ve known each other since forever!”
Anger and irritation began bubbling up within the fallen seraphim, clutching his cane in his hand.
“Makes me wonder why such a lovely little soul was abandoned by her own blood.”
Blinded by rage, Lucifer abruptly whipped back around to face Alastor and jumped him, toppling them both of them onto the velvet carpeting on the floor. Lucifer’s hat flying off of his head at the fast movement he made while Alastor lost grip on his cane.
Alastor grunted as he fell to the ground at the sudden attack and quickly recovered, but was soon met with the realization of that he couldn’t move.
He found his wrists being grasped tightly with dark hued hands, adorned with scarlet red claws.
The sinner looked back forward and was met with the wild eyes of Lucifer. His expression being stern as his red gleaming sclera pierced through his soul alongside his golden pupils and pointed irises.
Alastor also took notice of the long vermillion horns protruding out of the Devil’s forehead, a fierce flame floating in between them as a snake and apple were seen forming a halo, levitating almost just above the two spikes.
The King’s white and ruby colored seraphim wings were spread out in a threatening manner, seemingly trying to make him look bigger.
Lucifer snarled, baring his teeth as he glowered upon the sinner, who stared back at him with wide eyes.
Alastor tried to get up and push the Ruler off, but found his legs bounded in something. He looked down further to where his legs sat, and in between Lucifer’s legs he could see his own, tied in a black rope of some kind?
Wait, no. He saw something triangular with a carmine colored heart sway near his feet. He blinked as processed that the thing keeping him restrained from below was the King’s tail.
“Don’t you pull that shit with me, Alastor.” Lucifer fumed as Alastor snapped his attention back forward at the fallen angel staring down at him. “I am your King. YOUR Ruler. YOU are merely just a speck of dust- awaiting to be blown away by a gust of wind.”
He voiced out, sounding unearthly with an echo that wasn’t caused by anything in the room while his entire figure emanated a slight glow, his grip tightening more around the sinner’s wrists.
Lucifer’s hair began to fall from his usual slick-backed hairstyle, uncurling slightly from his head and falling to his face.
“You are beneath me and you need to get that through that damn thick skull of yours before I force it to.”
As Lucifer continued to sneer angrily at the Radio Demon, his face began to subconsciously get closer to Alastor’s in a way to intimidate him.
Alastor was supposed to be fearing for his life right about now. He was being threatened by the Devil himself. Anyone would be afraid.
So why was he only focused on how pretty Lucifer looked?
His pale skin. His sharp jawline and teeth. His eyes. His golden hair.
Alastor felt a warmth surge throughout his entire body as a strange feeling began settling in his stomach, his heart beginning to beat rapidly while he felt his eyes widen more than it already has, his face heating up slightly in the process as well.
The sinner would never, ever say anything like this out loud, but Lucifer looked breathtaking.
They both stayed like that for a while, glaring at each other. Their short and heavy breaths being the only thing being shared between them.
It took a little while before Lucifer’s eyes began to soften, his mouth that was once pushed into a deep frown was now gaping slightly open as he gazed at the sight underneath him.
Alastor blinked twice as he gawked at the amber blush he saw take place on Lucifer’s face.
With the way the King was looking at Alastor, the sinner underneath the Devil might as well burst into flames with how Lucifer’s eyes stared back into Alastor’s with an emotion that Alastor couldn’t recognize.
But God, Alastor found himself needing more of it.
The intense grip on Alastor’s wrists loosened as the binding on his legs faltered, the Ruler’s tail was still wrapped around his legs, just not as tight as earlier. If anything, it felt like it was trying to stimulate Alastor more.
Lucifer’s face was inching closer. His eyes half-lidded, staring at the sinners lips as Alastor’s eyes gazed upon the King.
They both wanted the gap between them to close so badly.
Then they heard the door click.
Lucifer’s posture straightened up in a heartbeat while Alastor froze like a deer in headlights.
Then the door fucking bursts open, an exhilarated Charlie being the one behind it as Lucifer and Alastor quickly turn to face the doorway.
Charlie’s excited face shifted turned into one of shock. Her eyes being as wide as plates with her mouth gaping open.
The first thing she sees when she enters the room is her dad sitting on top of her business partner on his stomach, pinning him down with their faces flushed.
The Princess, just like many others who would be put in this situation, got the wrong idea. “Uhm! I- Wh- I’m-“ She stammered as an embarrassed flush crept onto her cheeks as the two who still sat on the floor’s faces were colored entirely golden and coral.
“Sorry for uh!- Interrupting you two! Uh-“ She stuttered uncontrollably while she began to back away from the door’s frame. “I just wanted to say that- Um- We’ll all be downstairs if you wanted to join in on the exercise!”
She awkwardly glanced to the side as she spoke. “Uhm- Yeah! That’s all!” She clasped her hands together before swiftly bolting away from the room, slamming it shut before running as she yelled out a muffled and frantic ‘Bye!’ from the hallway.
The doorway was closed once again, leaving Lucifer and Alastor frozen on the floor, staring at the door with wide eyes and both being utterly flustered out of their minds.
Lucifer’s horns, wings and tail had all gone away on their own, since the intense emotions he held from before had ceased, unfortunately to Alastor.
He looked so pretty with them.
The fallen seraphim risked a glance at Alastor, being met with him staring back with his face being pretty much the same shade as his hair while his eyes were blown wide open, his permanent smile being slightly crooked.
Seeing Alastor look so out of character only made Lucifer flush even more.
He felt lightheaded. He might as well just pass out here but no, his daughter probably thinks that he’s fucking the Radio Demon right this second and he did NOT want that.
Wait.
OH.
He flinched at the realization and jumped right off of him in a panic. “Holy shit- I’m sorry!” He stammered out with his face bright yellow as his hands were flailing around while the sinner sat back up in dazed silence. “I didn’t mean to lose my cool like that! I just got kinda defensive over the topic of my daughter and you know-“
He blinked.
OH FUCK.
“CHARLIE!” He exclaimed before practically ripping the door off its hinges and began hauling his ass out of the room before Alastor could even process the situation. “CHARLIE, WAIT-“ The King’s desperate yell for his child to return echoed throughout the walls of the hotel, leaving the Radio Demon alone in the room.
The sinner sat there for minutes on end, staring into nothing as he replayed the moment he spent with Lucifer in his mind.
One of the things that Alastor hated was physical touch. If one were to touch him anywhere without his permission, that person would simply be erased off of Hell’s pentagram.
So why did he enjoy that?
They were so close.
So, so very close.
And he found himself enjoying the close proximity he had with the King. Wishing that the moment had lasted longer, but their closeness was ripped away just within a second.
It surprisingly disappointed the sinner, causing him to groan in displeasure.
He stood up slowly, still feeling the King’s tail pressed up against his calf and ankle, to which he flushed slightly redder at the sensation.
The moment continued to replay in his head and lingered on the look of the King.
How menacing he looked.
How gorgeous he looked.
Alastor shook his head as he patted his clothes off, removing any kind dirt or dust that had stuck to the fabric he wore.
He glanced to the side and spotted his microphone, lying on the floor due to the sudden course of action Lucifer made. He hadn’t noticed that he dropped it until now.
He hummed and made his way to it, grabbing it off of the ground and proceeded to dust it off as well.
He noticed something white at the corner of his eye, it quickly catching his attention and looking toward it.
It was Lucifer’s top hat.
Alastor chuckled quietly before standing back up straight and began trudging toward it.
He reached for the top hat and gazed at it silently, noticing the snake and apple that formed a halo above the King’s head from earlier before placing it onto a table in the room nearby.
The sinner sighed one final time before fixing up his composure and appearance, trying to look as natural as possible.
He then walked out of the room and to the main area, where everyone sat and stared at Lucifer, who’s face still slightly flushed and hair still messy, rambling out to his daughter, who had a very conflicted expression on her face.
Alastor stood by the top of the stairs they had, his brow moving upwards slightly in question.
Angel took notice of the smiling sinner and grinned. “Ay smiles!” He called out, which everyone in the room turned to the spider sinner and followed his gaze to see Alastor watching everyone. “What happened up there? Did you two fuck?” He asked with a raised brow as Alastor tensed at the suggestion.
The Radio Demon took notice of the pleading look Lucifer shot him with, face still stained with angelic blood boiling underneath his porcelain skin and rosy cheeks, his lips being pulled into a desperate frown.
Alastor grinned wider at the Ruler and laughed. “Ha! No.” He answered with a dismissive wave of his hand. “We just had a quick talk.”
He glanced at the Princess, who had a disbelieving look on her face. I mean, could you blame her? What she walked in on certainly did NOT look like ‘a quick talk’ Alastor had described.
“Now, shall we begin with that activity of yours, dear?” Alastor began to walk down the stairs, gesturing to Charlie who perked up at the reminder of the reason as to why everyone was here.
“Oh right!” She exclaimed, turning back around to face the residents. “Okay everyone, this is what we’ll do!”
She began to explain what to do with the paper, pencils and coloring materials placed in front of them as Lucifer huffed out a breath of relief upon the swift change of the subject while attempting to fix his hair.
Alastor walked next to him, grinning smugly. Lucifer turned to look up at him. “Thanks, I guess.”
The Radio Demon smirked. “It’s no problem, Luci .” He purred out the nickname as the Ruler flushed golden again.
He quickly turned away and focused his gaze back on his daughter, to which the sinner next to him chuckled lowly.
Alastor’s mind raced back to the moment they had in the room one final time before he went to sit alongside the others on the couch.
Maybe he should tease the King in that manner more to get another reaction like that.
And hopefully the next time he does, they’ll get to finish what they’ve started.
