Chapter Text
Chase groaned, staring up at the ceiling, and the sister hiding above it. "Evelyn! We're going to be late! School starts in twenty minutes!"
He cocked his head, listening for sounds upstairs, but there was nothing. Then, a subtle creak right above him, where the bathroom was. He sighed, rubbing his temple. He'd known it was the big game today, but did she really have to take that long to get ready?
"Evelyn," he called again, making his way upstairs, "Come on, let’s go!”
The upper floor was rather tight and cozy, a single hallway with five doors. Their parent's room was first on the left, right next to the spare bedroom. His and Evelyn’s rooms were on the other side, connected together through a Jack-and-Jill style bathroom. Groaning, he stepped through his room, blinking in surprise at finding the bathroom light off. Her vanity was also clean, meaning she’d either finished her make-up…or never started.
Desperately hoping that wasn’t true, he hurried through the bathroom, pausing half a second before her door. The light was on, shining beneath the crack, but he didn’t bother knocking. If she wasn’t dressed at this point, he might as well give up getting to school today.
His sister's room was as clean and neat as always, the bed made and the floor practically spotless. Evelyn herself was standing with her back to him, wearing her team cheerleader uniform. She stiffened the moment he entered, alerted as much by the groan of the floorboards as his discontented grunt.
“H-hey!” she cried, her eyes going wide.
She spun around to face him, holding her hands behind her back. Rolling his eyes he folded his arms and leaned against the doorframe.
“Evelyn, we’re going to be late. What are you eve–”
"What the hell are you doing in here?" she cried. She glared at him furiously, rocking back on her heel a step toward the desk before finally bringing her arms in front, crossing them beneath her breasts. “You’re not allowed in my room, remember?”
He sighed, rubbing his forehead. There it was again, not just a chasm, but the damned grand canyone between them. Like most twins, they'd been inseparable growing up, but things had changed in high school. No, that wasn’t quite right. It might have started as early as middle school. That was when she’d started making her own friends, something he’d never really got around to.
“Well?” She demanded, sticking out her chin.
“Look, there’s no need to get so defensive. I don’t really care if we’re late, but you have the game today. It seems like you’re all ready to go, so…”
He gestured to her, trailing off as he glanced at what she was wearing. Just shy of their seventeenth birthday, it'd been forever since he'd taken the time to really look at his sister, but now, standing in her room he couldn't help but stare. The scrawny, self-conscious girl of his memory was gone. She was beautiful, simply gorgeous wearing her shimmering blue and white cheerleader uniform. It was thin and tight, clinging to her curves, with a low neckline and skirt that barely reached midway down her thighs. Her long, golden hair was tied in a ponytail by a white ribbon, her makeup was light but expertly done. Though hiding it behind a glare, her cheeks were flushed red and her chest heaved, light pants escaping her parted lips. He ultimately lost the battle, and his eyes drifted downward, mesmerized by the erotic rise and fall of her chest, her ample breasts heaving with every heavy breath.
Coughing, he quickly tore his gaze away, hoping she hadn't noticed. Since when had she gotten so grown up and, well, hot? A small claw of guilt wormed into his heart, and he shook his head, forcing away the improper thoughts. As hostile as she was, this was his sister!
"S-sorry, let’s just get going. We have like fifteen minutes now."
Evelyn’s glare faltered, overtaken by sheer shock. “W-what? Why didn’t you say so?” she cried, brushing past him "Jeez, you're such a jerk sometimes."
"I did," he sighed, "like ten times."
She was a few inches shorter than him, but she swept by with all the grace of a cat, shooting him a final glare before fleeing downstairs. He swallowed, his throat suddenly dry, unable to miss the soft scent of vanilla lingering in her wake. Or how the hem of her skirt bounced across her butt, revealing more of her creamy thighs, and…white. White panties.
The thought nearly distracted him from the other question that lingered in his mind, and he turned to glance at her desk. Just what had she been hiding, and why was she so flustered? He cursed himself for asking, but his curiosity got the better of him. Unable to help himself, he darted into her room, eyes scanning her desk. There was a black, glossy stick skewed half on the desk, obviously hastily dropped there. He cocked his head and picked it up. A remote?
The remote had five small plastic lights at the top, the first one lit up. Two arrows in the middle indicate up or down, with a power button between them. He wasn’t particularly experienced when it came to things like this, but it looked awful like a–
"Chase!" Evelyn called from downstairs, a panicked edge to her voice. "Hurry up!"
"I, uh, yeah, I'll be right there!”
That was crazy. There’s no way his sister had something this dirty. And what could she possibly be doing with it before such an important game? Still, his gaze lingered on the single blinking light, the flush of his sister’s face flashing through his mind. Following an unwelcome impulse for the second time today, he stuck it in his pocket and ran downstairs.
Evelyn was waiting for him at the bottom of the stairs with her backpack slung over one shoulder, shifting uneasily on her feet. As he opened the front door, she came up short and ran back upstairs, calling, “I just remembered my history book!”
He sighed. "Hurry up, then," he said, pulling out his keys.
She dashed back inside, and Chase climbed into the car, turning it on. As the engine roared to life, he glanced back at the house. She complained about history quite a bit, enough that he knew it was her first-period class. She would have been excused from it for the game.
A few moments later, the passenger side door opened, and she slid into the seat beside him, her backpack in hand. She squirmed anxiously, trying her best to look at him from the corner of her eye without him noticing. She chewed her bottom lip anxiously, legs crossed together tightly.
"You forgot your book?" he asked, his voice dry.
"Mm-hm," she said, nodding. She stared straight out the windshield, not daring to make eye contact.
Shaking his head, he pulled out of the driveway. "You're ridiculous, Evelyn."
"Oh, shut up," she growled, "and watch the road."
The drive to the high school was only a few minutes, but to Chase, it felt like an eternity. Every bump and jolt made his sister tense, the flush in her face never fading. As they hit a particularly large pothole, she sucked in a sharp breath, white-knuckling the armrests, before slowly relaxing.
Chase swallowed, glancing over at her. Evelyn rested her head against the headrest with her eyes clothes, glossy lips parted in breathless moans. She rested a hand on her stomach and squirmed in her seat, legs pressing together. The sight of his sister so fully aroused sent a hot tingle through his body, which coalesced as a pressure building in his groin. He shifted uncomfortably, adjusting his pants to hide the growing bulge, and coincidentally came across the remote.
His chest pounded within him as his fingers gripped the glossy black plastic. Barely daring to consider what he was about to do, he found the soft ridges of the arrow buttons and pressed one of them. After a moment, nothing happened, so he tried the other.
Evelyn’s reaction was subtle, but immediate. Her breath quickened and a tiny, erotic moan slipped past her lips. After a few seconds, she squeezed her legs tightly together, rubbing her thighs together. Her hand on her stomach clenched into a fist, accidentally tugging her dress up to reveal a dangerous amount of thigh.
He swallowed the heavy lump in his throat and forced his eyes back onto the road. The school wasn’t far now, and the last thing he needed was to get in an accident. But, after a few seconds, his eyes slid back to her. His eyes bulged as he caught sight of two slight pricks in the uniform on her chest, little erect mounds rising off the smooth curve of her breasts.
“Nervous?” he asked, attempting to distract himself from openly drooling.
She jumped at his sudden question, her eyes snapping open. "A-about what?" She stammered.
"About the game. It’s the biggest game of the year, right?"
"Oh....yeah. I'm just feeling a little jittery, is all."
"Mm-hm," he hummed, "I'll bet you are."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Her voice was a pitch higher than normal, but her glare felt just as fierce.
He didn't answer, instead subtly lowering the intensity back to its baseline. Evelyn let out an unconscious sigh, but her gaze tightened, not leaving his face. Chase held his breath, waiting for her to challenge or accuse him, but she never did. After a moment, she turned away and stared out the window.
They finished the car ride in silence. When they arrived at the school, Chase parked near the gymnasium and cut the engine. He was about to exit the car but stopped when she grabbed his hand, her slender fingers gripping him tightly.
"Chase?" She stammered, not daring to meet his eyes, “Have you, um, seen a little black remote anywhere? I lost it yesterday, and I have to give it back to Sadie." She hesitated for a moment, then tossed her hair and quickly added, "It's for a nightlight! Not anything weird, or whatever you're thinking."
"I'm afraid not," he replied, somehow keeping his voice level. "I'm sure you'll find it though. Maybe you just misplaced it in your room."
She gazed at him pleadingly but he only shrugged. “Jerk,” she whispered, then slipped out of the car.
Chase shrugged and moved to follow, eyes following the sway of her hips as she walked. Evelyn glanced back at him, meeting his eyes, and her blush darkened. He expected hatred, or at least hostility, but there was something else in her gaze, fear, perhaps. Or…excitement?
And then she was gone, swallowed by the throng of students all heading to class. There was no denying it now. She really did have a vibrator in. Perhaps she had meant to remove it before they went to school, but judging by her reaction, she’d lost track of time and he’d barged in before she had the chance. They’d been late, too, so she wouldn’t even have time to do anything about it before cheer rehearsals for the game started. And he had the remote.
Chase smiled, suppressing a smile. He barely even noticed as a few other students gave him odd looks. Perhaps it was time to get back at Evelyn for all the hard times she’d given him. Things were about to get interesting.
