Work Text:
A loud explosion awakens Ranboo, followed by the prison alarm.
He gets out of his bed, and swears he can hear a dog barking.
The barking ends with a yelp, and shouting.
Ranboo walks up to the door, and watches as Bad, and Ant, run past his cell. Armor equipped, and swords reddy.
There is more shouting, some of the shouts, sound like Bad.
he stands there, the prision alarm ringing in his ears.
There is another explosion, more shouting.
The shouting gets farther and farther away.
Then he can't hear it anymore.
The ringing continues.
⇔
Eventually (after what feels like hours) the ringing stops.
Ranboo just stays in his cell.
From the words in his memory book, Sam should have brought him food bye now.
⇔
If the log he has been trying to keep is right, It has been a few days, and Sam has not brought him anything to eat.
There is a small sink in his cell, so he is not getting thirsty, but he has to be incredibly careful (he has burn marks on his wrist, and hands. Probably from water).
Ranboo has noticed it is getting harder to concentrate.
He also is having problems sleeping. Which is weird, considering he is so exhausted from just getting up from his bed, to drink some water.
His skin feels oddly dry and itchy, and he feels widely colder. He wraps himself in the blanket from his bed to keep the shivering to a minimum, because when he shivers violently, he gets tired faster.
He is so exhausted. It has gotten to a point where one time he stood up, his vision went black. He woke up on the floor, and the clock’s little hand moved three numbers.
⇔
He tripped on his tail, and is laying on the floor of his cell.
He is too exhausted to move, but can sleep.
He just wants it to end.
He wants Technoblade to come save him.
He wants to see his son.
He wants Tubbo.
He wants…
He-he…
He…
He wants to give up.
the sound of approaching boots give him a slight bit of hope.
He uses the last bit of his energy to look up.
His eyes land on the smiling mask of Dream.
Ranboo closes his eyes.
He barely can hear Dream mumble to himself, “this will do.”, before dull pain manifests in his back.
