“Dad, I need to know what happened on that night where Mum found you in your guys bedroom and found you were cheating on her!” His son bangs on the table where himself and his father were talking. They were in a local cafe near his dad’s business and wanted to catch up on the past 12 years because his Mother got full custody over her son and not once his Father reached out to him nor his Mum. The only reason why they were there is because Lloyd had to reach out to Kai and Nya’s parents because they knew where his father was.
“I did no such thing!” His father placed down his long black on the cup plate and gives his son a glare.
“Lloyd, I loved your Mother so much that I would sacrifice myself for her!” Lloyd’s father raised his voice and bounced his right leg.
There were people who started to give them side eyes and giving them more attention.
“Bullshit! Mother says that you cheated on her with a client of yours and it was someone that you see frequently! How the fuck is not cheating! And not to mention you were supposed to look after your son, a 4 year old! But no, I didn't even notice. Not only Mum told me that she found me watching TV by myself and no parental supervision!” Lloyd grows as he says the last sentence and takes his Iced Chocolate and finishes the last of the drink.
“So I don’t get it. Why do it when you were supposed to look after me! You’re son..” Lloyd looked down on the table and started to fidget with his hands. His father looks at his son.
“I was looking after you.” The father said, and Lloyd gives him the ‘Bullshit look’.
“You have no evidence.” Lloyd leans back on his chair and brings out his phone to check the time. 4:15pm. There was silence for a bit until his father spoke up.
“Let’s say I did that. I wouldn’t cheat on your mother, how I know this is because your mother was the light that brightens my world. I wouldn’t find anyone who would give me the world, someone who gives me a reason to keep going. That night, I was in the basement trying to find the old board game that you used to love… What was the name..” Lloyd gives his father a questioning look when he spoke and mentioned how his mother was his world. What got his attention was an old childhood game that he used to love.
“Are you talking about Ninja-chooses you?” Lloyd spoke up and gave his dad a look. Not long when he said that his dad shot up with a smile.
“YES THAT’S THE ONE!” He shouted and got embarrassed straight away. He apologized to everyone around him.
“I was trying to find it but only 10 minutes went by. I saw you gone and a note from your mum. Saying she’s getting a divorce lawyer because of the ‘incident’ that happened in our bedroom.” He sighed and brought the cup of Long black to his lips and drinks it. He place the cup down and looks at his son.
“Do… Do you think someone set you up? Like someone close?” Lloyd looks at his father, his father looks back and crosses his arms. They were both lost in thought as Lloyd said the statement.
“Not really, No. I know for a fact that I told your mum and Wu about the letter that your Uncle used to love her but in fear of losing your mother to him, I put down my name so I erased Wu. But I confessed after a while, they both gave me the cold shoulder but they both forgave me and me and your mum stayed together still.” Lloyd’s father looks away in sadness as he admits the wrong doing from his past. Lloyd smiles and gives a look of understanding.
“Mum did mention that., I’ll say but she says that she didn’t fall in love with you because of the letter, yes she did to head over heels for you but she told me that she fell in love with you because of your loving nature and your determination. She says that you were always there when she was down and whenever she discovers a new history artefact she goes to you and Uncle Wu but whenever it was just the two of you. She told me that you had loving eyes and you inspired her of who she is today. She’s currently looking for a job here in Ninjago City.” Lloyd smiles and his dad smiles back. His dad had a look on his face that Lloyd couldn’t read at all. The dad had an idea.
“That’s great! You could… before I will say my part, back with the night. We had cameras in the house just in case of a robbery and like watching you whenever we had to go to the bathroom or do laundry. Do you have a certain time to get home?” His dad smiles and Lloyd gave a though and shook his head.
“No Mum told me to be home by 9pm cause I’m 16 and she trusts me to be safe and I have school the next day. Can you also drop me off?.” The dad gives a smile and nods happily.
“Great! Let’s head going then, we can go back to your old home then!” The dad stood up and so did the son.
“Wait, you never sold the place?” Lloyd gives his dad a surprised look. His dad looks back and nods.
“I thought you sold it after a decade.” He looked at his phone and heard his dad chuckle.
“No. I couldn’t bring myself to lose the house. It holds too many memories. And I won’t give up on them” Lloyd nods with agreement. They both started to walk down the street and arrived where his dad parked his car. Lloyd must admit the care looks hella cool with a dragon symbol on the doors, one on both sides. He was excited to see what his childhood home looks like now.

Summary:
Things will get more intense in this chapter but we warned, swearing will be mentioned and 'adult noises' but wont be showned. Hidden lies that was never discovered till now.

Chapter Text
A woman in her mid 40s strolled up and down her apartment on the phone with someone. She had a worried look on her face and chewed on her fingernails as she grew anxious. She was on a phone call hoping she gets a job at the museum because she really loves history, especially the ancient side of it. She adores history so much she wanted to become a historian at a young age and wanted to study any hidden messages from the early stages of the world.
“Hello Ms Garmadon. Unfortunately the resume and your cover letter that we can not go any further but we can recommend another place if you wish? By looking at your previous jobs and experiences there's a lovely company that needs someone like you in their department. Would you like us to email it to you?” A lady over the phone spoke and told Ms. Garmadon about it. There was a quiet sigh and she accepts the offer and the call ended there.
The young woman sighed and walked over to the couch and lays down. She turned on her side to see a photo of herself and her son, Lloyd. She had a sad look on her face but she didn’t want to think of ‘Him’. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, she stood up and walked over to the door and when she opened it, her ex-brother in law, and a good friend, Wu was at her door step. They both gave each other a hug in exchange and she allowed her in, they both went to the kitchen and she prepared the kettle for tea. Since it was Wu’s favourite drink, Tea. Once the kettle has been made, she poured two cups for both of them.
“So Misako, how have you been?” Wu striked the first convention between the two. Misako blew on the tea and took a sip of it.
“It’s been going good. There weren't much jobs left in the countryside so I decided to come back to Ninjago to start fresh again, you know?” Wu nods as she spoke and drinks his tea slowly. There was a small awkward silence between the two.
“So. How did you know I returned?” Misako looks at Wu, Wu places his cup of tea on the counter and looks at her.
“The Smith family told me, and I thought it’ll be a good idea to come by to see you.” Misako nods and plays around with the hot cup.
“And also the mark that my brother put on you. The matting mark. I smelt a familiar scent and knew it was you. Not sure if Garmadon noticed yet.” Wu said and Misako widened her eyes, she had forgotten that both brothers are both hybrids of Dragon and Oni. Misako places her hand on her neck, she kind of forgot that Garmadon was her mate for life. She sighed.
“If you don’t mind me asking, have you ever found another partner?” Wu asked Misako as he finished his first cup of tea and poured another one.
“No, I haven’t really found anyone after the incident. I guess you can say I have trust issues? But I’ve been doing well. I haven’t found anyone fancy after I left Ninjago City with Lloyd.” Misako bit the inside of her lip and placed her other hand on the cup because her hands felt cold.
“I’m kind of surprised that my brother didn’t come to you whenever mating season came by. To my knowledge whenever I see him, he seems like he's doing well. Not sure if he found a mistress.” Misako’s face had a happy expression then turned into a sadden look. Wu noticed as he smell her aurora saddening.
“Misako, you’ve known us for over 30 years. You know how my brother is. He’s stubborn.” Wu told her, and heard a small laughter from Misako. Wu smiled.

Garmadon and Lloyd arrived at home, once the gate shut behind them, they both got out of the car. Garmadon looked through his business bag and found his keys, he put the keys in the door and unlocked it and pushed the door open. Once the two boys were in the building, the place looked neat and tidy. It was a two story house, there was paintings on the walls with a few family photos. The living room was near the garage, the living room wasn’t big, there was 2 big couches and a big coffee table with a flower vase. The kitchen was next to the living room as well, not big but it had everything that a kitchen should have. As they went past the living room and kitchen, there were 3 doors down the corridor, one underneath the stairs and Lloyd thinks one of them is the bathroom and a guest bedroom?
“I should’ve thought this through, ARGH! Why didn’t I just look at the cameras, fucks sake!” Garmadon opens the last door on the left and opens it. It was a guest bedroom with a pc and monitor in the same room. Lloyd sat down on the bed as he watched his father logging in the computer. He laid back and opened his phone and scrolled through Spingram (Instagram) and liked a few posts from his high school friends. After an hour, Lloyd nearly fell asleep and woken up from his father banged the table.
“I fucking knew it, Clouse that snake! Of course he did this!” Lloyd saw purple aurora appear on his father’s hair and hands. He sat up and got out of bed and placed his hand on his dad’s shoulders.
“How the fuck did he get the keys, no fucking way!” Garmadon growled as he and Lloyd watched the security cameras as they see a young middle aged man with a client that Garmadon knows and they both saw Clouse transformed into Garmadon and they both walked into the bedroom. Unspeakable noises came out of the room around half an hour and shortly after they both saw Misako walking up the stairs and opening the door in horror.
“That fucker. I’m so fucking glad I slept in the other guest bedroom up stairs because after finding this out, I would love to burn down that room in flames.” Garmadon eyes the screen in anger and nearly raised his fist to punch it but Lloyd’s hands on both shoulders stopped him and gave him a hug.
“Answer me this son, Did your mother ever found another man?” Garmadon looks at his father and shakes his head ‘no’. A sigh of relief came from Garmadon and he slowly relaxed.
“Did you ever find another woman?” Garmadon said no, because he was still in love with Misako.
“I think you should tell mum the truth, dad” Garmadon looks at his son. He looks back.
“How? You’re mum cut contact with me. The only way I can talk to her is through you or Wu. And I know your mum is here because I sense her strawberry bloom perfume she always uses.” Lloyd gave his dad a weird look but didn’t want to know any more details. Garmadon laughed. After recording the footage they both saw, Garmadon had an idea.
“You said your mum is looking for a job” Lloyd nods “I could give you my business card, and not tell her you got it from me but simply say that your friends saw an opportunity to work at ‘History of the forgotten’ and it has 3 stories! And we have Borg industries that help us with tech stuff and I'm pretty dang sure Misako would love it! She could also be a chef archaeologist discovering more artefacts from our history!” Garmadon said with a grin on his face and Lloyd can sense his father really wants to see his mother again. He nods and takes the card and puts it in his bag. Lloyd looks at the time, 8:30pm.
“As much as I would love to talk more dad, you gotta take me home cause mum probably made dinner for me so I don’t wanna be late” Garmadon nods and they both exited the room and headed towards the garage. Garmadon left the lights on because he’s going to make dinner for himself and sleep afterwards.
After a drive, Lloyd put down the address of the apartment complex where his mother and himself lives, Lloyd gave his dad a hug and tells him goodnight and waves goodbye to him. Garmadon smiles and waves back and watches his son enter the building. He had a sad-happy expression but he knows things will slowly get better soon. Not only his son has returned but his beloved mate is here as well.
“I can’t wait to see you again, Misako.” He said to himself and then drove off back home.

“Ah Lloyd! I didn’t make any dinner because I had to catch up with a good old friend of mine” Misako said to Lloyd as he closed the door behind him and took off his shoes and placed them on the shoe rack.
“That’s fine Ma. I was also catching up with someone as well” Lloyd told his mother, he didn’t want to tell his mum that it was his dad that he went and saw today after school. Misako nods and finished off the remaining of the dishes in the sink and placed them on the rack. Lloyd looks at the card that his dad gave him and didn’t know how to start off the conversation with his mum about this. He sighs and sits down.
“Mum, how was job hunting?” Lloyd asked his mother, Misako turns around to face her son.
“It was good? I got rejected again but I looked at the email that the place rejected me and they referred me to this place called ‘History of the forgotten’. It sounds interesting especially when it’s nothing like the Ninjago Museum in the city. I looked it up on the internet and it looks very popular, loads of tourists and fellow local people come and visit it. And get this! It has 3 stories! That’s impressive!” Misako clapped her hands in excitement, she also has the look of happiness on her face and voice.
“That’s great mum! Funny, a friend of mine gave me this card because I was telling him how you were looking for a job and he had this business card and the place is the History of the forgotten!” Lloyd passes her the card, she takes it and looks at it. It has the phone number and email address.
“I will email them tonight, but first mister, go to bed. I’m sure you had a very exhausting day. For lunch I’ll make you something special!” Misako giggled as she walked over to where Lloyd is sitting and kissed his head. Lloyd made a face saying he’s not a kid anymore, but Misako giggled and brushed it off and ruffled his hair. Lloyd grumbled and hugged his mum goodnight and kissed her forehead. Misako watches her boy walking down and enters his room on the first right of the kitchen.
She soon grabbed her laptop from her bag and turned on the power. As soon as the laptop turned on, she logged on and opened the internet browser, she clicked on the music site and hit on her ‘classical’ album and softly played it on low volume so that she wouldn't disturb Lloyd’s sleep. She opened her mail, and looked at the card that Lloyd gave her. She looked at it for a good minute or two because when she searched the place up, there was no CEO who runs this business at all. She wonders who would run such a good business but not telling the internet who they are. A soft sigh came out of her and started to type up why she was reaching out and soonly after she typed up her side, she attached her cover letter and resume. Misako had a good look at the letter she will be sending to the owner of the business, after rereading it 3 times, she hit send.
“I hope I get this job, because I can’t keep on asking for help from Ray and Maya. I owe them a lot.” Misako sighed and shortly after took off her glasses and placed down her head on the kitchen table. An hour went by and she was woken up from her mail’s notification. Misako was a light sleeper because she wouldn’t sleep well on some occasions whenever she is feeling stressed out and over-thinking a lot.
Misako logged back into her laptop and saw the notification from the business email she placed her resume and cover letter in and when she looks at it, she has a job interview in 2 days time, 9am. Easy, she can drop Lloyd off at school and walk to the interview place. When she was looking for the address it says it was at the place but on the 40th floor.
“Why does this person have a 3 story museum but 40 stories!?! I have so many questions.” Misako looked at the information and had a dumbfounded face. She quickly sent the email back, and quickly went to the shower and went to bed because she has exciting news to tell to Lloyd.
Misako has a smile on her face as she slowly falling asleep.

Garmadon looks through the channels on his tv. He was so bored that he started to watch sappy drama series. He was the type of guy who likes to watch any genre but he was too bored out of his mind to watch a good decent show that he likes, so he decided to put on a sappy drama one. Half way through the show, he got a notification from his business phone and when he grabbed it, he looked at it and it shows ‘Misako Montgomery Garmadon’s job application’.
‘She still kept my name?’ Garmadon thought to himself as he sat up from the couch and opened the email and reads it. He guessed that Lloyd gave Misako the card and encouraged her to apply. As he reads the letter and resume, he was surprised at the amount of places she had worked for. If she was with him right now, he would spin her around and kiss her face. He smiles because he knows that Misako will do anything to achieve her goals and her dream job. He was so proud of her. An hour went by, he sent back an email stating that she got accepted and would love to interview her in 2 days time at 9am. He really hopes that she doesn’t suspect him. But he misses her dearly, he wants to fix everything.
Garmadon looks back at the tv and turns it off. “Too much drama.” He scuffed and walked up the stairs and headed towards ‘his bedroom’ (the guest one).
He took a shower and after a half an hour shower break he got out and threw on his boxers and a shirt. He usually sleeps pantsless because it feels very uncomfortable for him. He gets under the covers and stares into the wall. On the wall there was a portrait of him, Misako and baby Lloyd. He smiles and closes his eyes.
“I can not wait to see you, my Misako.”

We're so close!! The meeting with Garmadon and Misako again, EEEEEEEEE I can not wait! :D
I'll focus on Llyod and his friends as well, but i'm excited to share whats going to happen in the next coming days!

Chapter Text
The morning rolled around and the sunlight hits Lloyds face. Lloyd groans and switches positions. He soon hears his mum yelling from the kitchen to get out of bed to get ready for school. Lloyd slowly opens his eyes and looks at his alarm clock, 7:05am. Lloyd always hates waking up early especially for school but he has a group assignment with his friends, he got out of bed and headed towards the bathroom to get ready.
Misako was busy making breakfast for Lloyd, she didn’t noticed that Lloyd was in the same room for at least 5 minutes. He watched his mum dancing and flipping the pancake. Lloyd watches his mum humming a tune he only heard when he was a child but he can’t remember where it was from. Soonly Misako does a small spin and sees Lloyd watching her in aw, and nearly drops the pancakes. Luckily she placed them in time and greeted her son.
“G-Good Morning, I didn’t notice you at all… You were like a ninja, sneaking up on your poor mother” Misako giggled as she teased her son. Lloyd chuckles alongside his mum and greets her. Misako pulls closer Lloyds food in front of him and passes him the cutlery.
“What’s gotten you so bubbly mum?” Lloyd asked his mum as he poured syrup on his pancakes and cut the pancakes in quarters and took a bit out of it. Misako looks at her son with a happy expression and to Lloyds guessing, she got the interview.
“I got the interview! It’s going to happen tomorrow morning! So I’ll always take you to school and then I’ll head towards the place. And also the company is 40 stories high! Whoever decided to make their company that high is an interesting person.” Misako said excitedly and then takes the cup of tea and takes a drink out of it.
“I see, congratulations mum! You deserve it! If it goes well we can host a small get together?” Lloyd said it with a smile, Misako nods in agreement. Lloyd finishes off his pancakes and places his dishes in the sink and goes back to his room to brush his teeth and grab his belongings.
Once he got his stuff, Misako finished the dishes and grabbed her keys for the house and some shopping bags. They exited the building and walked down the corridor to the elevators, and clicked on the down arrow. The elevator dings and opens the door and the two walked in.
“Are you going to go shopping?” Lloyd asked his mum and she nods.
“Yeah, I feel like I should make something for tonight cause I don’t want to keep eating take out, ya know?” Lloyd nods in agreement, and looks at his phone. He saw that Kai texted him that him and the rest of the guys are at the library researching about the history assignment. Lloyd forgot what it was about but once he gets to the library he’ll ask them.
Misako drops her son off near the gates and hisses his forehead, Lloyd was embarrassed so he hugs his mother and waved her goodbye. Misako shook her head because she knows how to tease her son, because she loves him dearly. As she walked down the street, she had a feeling she was being watched. Her gut told her to look back and she did, she looked back but no one was there. She kept a good eye on her surroundings because she was unsure why she was feeling she was being watched but continued her way to the local supermarket.
“Hi Maya, I'm around the neighbourhood. Would you like to have a small catch up? Because I have exciting news!!” Misako told Maya over the phone, Maya squealed in excitement and was very eager to hear the news.
Misako quickly finished grabbing the groceries she needs and paid fro them and started to head towards the Smith’s house.

“You guys should get a room, ugh” Lloyd said in disgust as he sees his two friends being lovey dovey with their partners. Kai nods in agreement because he was fine with his best friend, Jay dating his sister but not really used to the romantic tension from love in general.
“I’m sure you’ll find someone, Lloyd, you're a decent looking young man. I’m sure there's someone out there” Jay told Lloyd as he placed his head on Nya’s shoulders. Lloyd gave a look of ‘yeah I guess?’, as the group was in the library Zane and Pixel came by and greeted them with the book.
“So me and Pixel have been looking and we found the group project on and it’s on the Serpentine War. You know, the biggest thing that was known for a while” Zane placed down the book, the group gathered around the table and eyed the book.
“And according to my analysis, Lloyd, doesn't your mother have one of the artefacts that she has duggan up recently?” Zane asked as the group looked at him. Lloyd nods.
“Yeah but she doesn’t know if it was from that time period, but I’ll ask her tonight. Cool?” Lloyd looks at his phone and takes note to ask his mother about it, the group gave him the thumbs up and soon the bell rings.
“Argh, I hate Maths” Jay groaned, both Kai and Zane laughed at him.
“You’ll do fine, and you didn’t forget about the quiz right?” Zane eyed Jay, and Jay had the ‘oh shit face’, it was priceless. The group slowly dismembered as they were going to their own classes.
Cole has English with Kai and Pixel, while Jay has Maths with Zane, and lastly Lloyd and Nya has music together.
“See you guys at lunch, remember the same spot under the sakura tree” Kai tells the group.

“Oh my goodness, congratulations Misako! I hope it goes well for you!” Maya tells Misako with a bright smile on her face. Misako giggles and smiles back at her.
“Yeah I hope so too, and I have a question” Misako asked, Maya nods for her to ask the question.
“Who owns History of the forgotten?” Maya looks at Misako, she looks away for a brief moment, unsure how to answer it.
“Well I know Cyrus Borg is the collaborator for History of the Forgotten but I don’t know who the owner is. So sorry Misako.” Maya apologised to Misako with a sad look, Misako smiles at her and thanking her for the answer.
“No worries, thank you again Maya.” Misako smiles, she looks at the clock, 2:30pm. She has been out for a bit which is fine but she has to get home to prepare dinner. But before she leaves she invites Maya and her family to the celebration if she gets the job. Maya happily accepted it, and Misako and Maya both said their goodbyes and Misako walked home with her groceries.
Once she got home, she saw a bunch of flowers in front of her door. She opened the door first, walked to the kitchen to placed down the shopping and went back to the door and grabbed the bundle of flowers. She looked around but no one was nearby, but she was confused because it was one of her favourite flowers, Roses.
There was a note, she looked at it but didn’t know who wrote it. It says.
‘You are still the most beautiful woman I laid my eyes upon. I love everything about you. I can not wait to see you again.’

Hello all hope you guys are doing well! I just finsihed my first trimester so I am able to post a lot more.
And also I'm not sure just yet but I might post 3 chapters tonight or tomorrow afternoon because I'm having a date night with my partner so I'm taking him out, and Saturday I have a full overnight, but I will try my best to post today and tomorrow! :D

“Hey mum I’m back from school, how was your day? And also Jay and Kai are here to help me with the group project.” Lloyd asked his mother as he walked in the door and two of his friends followed in after him. Misako turns her head to the door and greets Lloyd and welcomes Jay and Kai over. Misako doesn’t mind that Lloyd brings his friends over, they are always welcomed.
“It was good, and no worries. Your friends are always welcomed here!” Misako told the boys with a smile and when the boys put their shoes down on the rack, Misako made afternoon tea for them. There were fruits and some home-made boba drinks ready for them all.
“Woah, did you make these Auntie??” Kai spoke up as he took the first sip of the drink and Misako happily nods. Soonly after, Lloyd's friends, Zane, Pixel, Nya and Cole knocks on the door, Misako opens the door and greets them in. As the group were eating and chatting among themselves, Lloyd looks over to the bunch of roses that his mum received.
“So mum, who got you the flowers? They look new.” Lloyd asked his mum, and she turned to face him. Misako looks back at the flowers and then the card. She still doesn’t know who wrote such heart feeling words.
“I’m not sure, after when I saw Maya this afternoon, I saw the flowers and there was a card with no signature. Here look” Lloyd looks at the card that his mum passed him and reads it.
‘You are still the most beautiful woman I laid my eyes upon. I love everything about you. I can not wait to see you again.’
‘Dad couldn’t be more romantic then Jay and Nya’ Lloyd shakes his head and gives back the card.
“Yeahhhh, crazy… Whoever wrote this for you. It seems that they are deeply in love with you.” Lloyd obviously avoided his mum’s eye contact as he looked towards his friends. He hopes that his mum can’t see through his lies. But luckily, she didn’t.
“I haven’t made any connections with anyone else. Whoever this is, I’ll try my best to find out who it is” Misako looks at the roses.
“You’ll find out tomorrow at your interview..” Lloyd said in a whisper, Misako looks at her son with a raised eyebrow.
“Did you say something?” Misako asked her son, he shook his head and grabbed a piece of watermelon and eats it. Misako studied her son to see if he’s lying to her, but when she looks even closer it seems he was telling the truth.
After everyone has finished their afternoon snack, everyone went to Lloyd’s room because out of the two rooms which were, Misako’s and loyd’s, Lloyd had the biggest one because Misako was fine having a small room to herself. As the group left the room, Misako grabbed the dishes that Lloyd’s friends left on the counter and cleaned them. After she finished cleaning the dishes, Misako again looks at the card when she sat down on the couch. She tries to analyse the handwriting and the message behind it but no matter what she can’t get any leads at all.
“Whoever this is, how did they know one of my favourite flowers were roses?” Misako asked herself, she grabbed the tv remote and turned it on. She clicked on the Starflix (Netflix), and scrolled through the recommended films. She looks through the comedy section, there was nothing that caught her attention but as she scrolled through the drama she found a series that caught her eye, ‘The forbidden Grindelwald’ (It's a romance comedy, and it’s not real! But I will try to reference actual films and shows!)
“That sounds interesting,” Misako said as she clicked on the show and hit play. Half an hour has passed, and Misako actually likes this show, after 3 episodes in and they were 45 minutes long. She actually loves how mysterious the love interest was and how the main character was so oblivious she was rooting on the MC to get together with the mysterious love interest.

“So Lloyd how come you never told us your mum was single? I thought she was still married cause when you first came to school the teacher greeted your mum as ‘Ms. Garmadon’. Why’s that?” Kai asked Lloyd, Lloyd turns around on his chair to face Kai who was on his bed along with Nya and Cole.
“Well Kai, after my mum divorced my father and also had full custody of me. She didn’t want to change it? I haven’t asked her myself but I guess she prefers it?” Lloyd shrugs, both Nya and Pixel looks at each other. Jay was on the computer trying to search up the Serpentine War and multiple sites shown up. Zane was also helping Jay out with the research.
“Or maybe, she still loves him?” Nya chimed in, Lloyd looks at her.
“Impossible. She keeps on saying how much she dislike show my dad cheated on her” Lloyd looks at Nya with ‘are you sure face’. Nya sat up and leaned on the wall.
“Let’s think about it, I haven’t heard that she got together with anyone else. And also isn’t there a thing that your family has? Argh what is it called..” Nya tries to think about the word but tries her best to figure it out. After a moment Pixel looked over to Nya and then Lloyd.
“I think Nya is referring to, ‘Mating season’. And it happens every Spring.” Pixel chimed in and then it was silent. Both Jay, Cole and Kai looked over to Lloyd.
Silence again…
“HOLD THE BLOODY HELL UP! YOU’RE TELLING ME THAT YOUR FAMILY IS PART CREATURE?!” Cole yelled, and started to question everything. Both Jay and Kai was dumb struct with the news.
“Did I not mention I am part Dragon and Oni?” Lloyd asked the group and everyone shook their heads. The boys started to look at each other and the girls plus Zane was unphased by the shocking news and also ‘mating season’. The guys looked at them.
“HOW THE BLOODY HELL YOU GUYS NOT PHASED AT ALL?!” Kai rubbed his forehead with both hands and his right leg bouncing up and down. The girls laughed at him while Zane just shrugged.
“Remember Kai, my father is a scientist. And in every scientist labs and books, they have these types of things and of course I read the books because I want to know the world around me” Both Jay and Cole nods because sometimes they are also interested in things that weren't explained to them.
“And you shouldn’t be phased by this as well because young boys our age would do ‘things’” Zane said as he turned his back to continue researching on the Serpentine War. The group of boys besides Lloyd looked away because they were embarrassed and the girls giggled even more.
Two hours went by and it’s 11pm, and everyone started to get ready to go home. Before they opened the door to go to the elevators, Misako told them that they can stay for the night cause it was a school night and she doesn’t want the kids to be out around this time. She reassured them that she contacted their parents and told them that they can sleep over and be able to get spare clothing if needed for them to stay. Of course, she lets the boys sleep in Lloyds room and the girls can sleep in her room while she sleeps on the couch. The girls asked if she was sure and she was happy with it.
“Goodnight everyone, I’ll make breakfast for you all and take you guys to school. Sleep well” Misako waved everyone goodnight as they headed towards the rooms they were staying in.
Misako went to the couch and wrapped herself with the spare blanket she has gotten from the cabinets. She looks over the roses one last time and closes her eyes.

Since I have been writing the last couple of chapters based around Misako and Lloyd and his friend group, I wanted to do something different and made a Garmadon based chapter of what he has been up to.Anyways have a lovely day!! :DD
Chapter Text
Garmadon looks out of his office window. He was on the 40th floor, I know crazy. He looks at Ninjago City. Such a beautiful sight to see. He hopes one day he’ll have his family beside him again. Having family movie nights, family get-togethers, or having family bonding time.
There was a knock on the door, he told the person on the other end to enter. Garmadon looks back and sees his little brother, Wu at the door.
“Fancy for you to stop by brother.” Garmadon smiled at his brother, Wu just looked at him. “What can I do for you Wu?” Garmadon asked his little brother, Wu looks at him and walks over to the chair and sits down.
“I’m pretty sure you know that Misako has returned?” Wu looks at his brother, Garmadon nods as his back was turned to Wu and then faces him. Garmadon walked over to his office chair and sat down on it. There was a brief silence for a moment until one of them spoke up.
“Yeah I know. They have been in the city for at least a month.” Garmadon blinks as he turns on his computer. Once the computer shows the ‘user and password’, Garmadon puts down his username and password. Wu noticed that his brother is avoiding the convention, especially when it’s something to do with Misako. Wu eye twitches and kicks Garmadon’s foot, Garmadon growls and looks at his brother.
“You’re trying to avoid the subject of Misako. You know she’s here, why don’t you ever visit her? Or I don’t know, ‘try to bump’ into her on the streets.” Wu said with a bit of anger in his tone, Garmadon looks at him and sighs.
“I’m not sure if she wants to see me. She cut contact with me a long time ago, I wasn’t able to give her any updates of my wellbeing or asking how Lloyd was doing.” Garmadon looks at his brother with sadness in his eyes. Wu’s expression saddened and reassured Garmadon that things will change eventually.
“I’m sure things will get better, I know it. I also heard from Maya that Misako has an interview here tomorrow?” Garmadon made a face, nearly forgetting that the meeting was tomorrow. Wu chuckled at his brother because he knows that Garmadon is a forgetful person.
“I’m guessing you’ve forgotten. Ah typical Garmadon, typical” Wu chuckled even more, Garmadon made a small growl but agreed with Wu because he is a forgetful person.
“On the topic of Misako, I ordered and delivered the flowers to her place. And before you say anything, no I did not stalk her. That’s not who I am…” Wu raised his left eyebrow and let his brother speak even more. “I saw Lloyd not long ago, I think it was Monday afternoon. He wanted to see and talk to me. There was an argument between the two of us but we settled down shortly after.” Garmadon said to Wu, whilst he was talking to Wu, Garmadon was looking through his emails if he has missed anything at all.
“That’s good that you finally saw Lloyd after 12 years. Congrats brother” Garmadon bowed his head as a thanks.
“What did you guys catched up on?” Wu asked his brother, Garmadon had a look on his face. After finding out the truth on that night Misako left with Lloyd, he has to tell someone else.
“Oh you know, why I didn’t reach out to him for the last decade and shit. But by the end of the night me and him found something out.” Garmadon played back the video in his mind and he made a disgusted face.
“Why are you making that face? What did you find out?” Wu eyed his brother seeing if he can read his mind through expressions but he couldn't.
“Remember Clouse?” Wu nods his head, “Forgive me of swearing because I know you don’t like foul language but.” Wu tilted his head.
“Clouse fucking disguised himself as me, and an old client of mine before I built this place. They did some unforgivable shit in me and Misako’s bedroom. I was so fucking livid at the video footage I nearly punched the computer screen but luckily Lloyd calmed me down. But yes. It was all a fucking setup because of Clouse! I knew he was jealous of me and Misako’s marriage but never in the years I’ve known him would do such shit! What caught me off guard was how he got into the house! He didn’t have the bloody keys at all. SO yes it was a setup and because of them, my marriage with Misako fell apart.” When Garmadon was talking with the evidence he had, he stood up and walked over to the family photo of him, Misako, baby Lloyd and Wu together smiling. Wu watches his brother going to the portrait, he had a sad look on his face because now learning the truth he feels his brother's pain.
“I know tomorrow when I interview Misako, she’s going to be mad at me. I can feel it.” Garmadon made a sad sigh. He sensed that Wu was walking behind him and looks at the family photo.
“I don’t want to lose her again. She means the world to me, Wu.” Garmadon places down the photo portrait and looks at his brother. Wu didn’t know what to do at that point so he patted his back.
“Yes I do agree with Misako being mad at you but let’s say that things go well, you can always start over.” Garmadon raised his head, he had the thought about that and Wu noticed his brother's aurora changing from sad to happy. Wu smiled.
Soonly after Garmadon and Wu had a good decent chat about things that was going on in each other's lives, it turns out that Wu adopted a kid called ‘Morro’, so Garmadon can’t wait to see him. Garmadon told his brother that he never dated anyone when Misako left, he told him that because Wu texted him about it but never got a reply so he asked in person. Wu was not surprised that Garmadon didn’t find anyone but he was happy with him either way. Wu knows that his brother was a loyal person because back when they were in their teens, both Wu and Garmadon liked Misako but she fell in love with Garmadon and after a couple of years they got married, Garmadon obviously marked her as his mate and 9 months later they had Lloyd.
The brothers both said goodbye to each other and they both walked separate directions. Wu was walking to his home where he stopped by at the local supermarket to get food and for Garmadon he walked down the street and took a left to his car which was parked in the staff area. He got in the car and drove home.
“I really hope this goes well. I can’t wait to see you again Misako, my love.” He told himself as he watches the traffic lights turn red to green.

The clock strikes 6am, and it starts to ring. Misako groans and turns over to look over at the time, 6am. She groans and turns her back to the clock, she wasn’t much of a morning person but luckily the weekend is tomorrow so she can’t wait to sleep in tomorrow. She snoozed the alarm and doze back to sleep. 10 minutes went by and it rings again, this time Misako got out of couch to start her day. She grabbed the blanket and folds it in half and place the pillow on top of the blankets and walked over to the cabinets and put them away.
Misako looks over to her room and Lloyd’s room, she didn’t want to bother Lloyd and his friends at all. She’ll get them up in an hour because school doesn’t start until 8:30, luckily the building where she's meeting the interviewer is only a 15 minute walk from the school. She walked over to the kitchen and started to make breakfast for the kids and looking through the cabinets for any snacks for them all.
30 minutes went by and Nya and Pixel exited her room and greeted her a goodmorning, Misako turns around and was surprised that the two girls were awake.
“Good Morning Auntie Misako, thank you again for allowing us to stay here for the night” Both Nya and Pixel bowed their heads as thanks for Misako’s hospitality. Misako waved them off and telling them that they are always welcome here. The two girls smiled at her and looks over where Misako was cooking.
“What are you making Auntie?” both Nya and Pixel sat down and Pixel asked Misako. Misako had to check the pot on the stove and looks back at the girls.
“I am feeling making egg omelette for you guys, I hope that’s ok” Misako smiled
“Yeah that’s fine Auntie, we don’t eat much in the morning cause most of the time the guys don’t wake up on time” Nya said with a playful sigh and Pixel giggled. Misako shook her head and finished the first 2 batches of omelette for the girls. The girls thanked her and started to eat their breakfast.
Misako looks at the time, 7am already. She looked at the premade omelette and quickly went to Lloyd’s room and knocked on the door. “Kids, it’s time to wake up. I’ve made egg omelette for you guys” she giggled because she hears the guys all groaning. She quickly went back to the kitchen to finish off the other batches and soonly the boys walked out of the room person by person.
“Good morning to you too sleepyhead” Nya giggled as she kissed Jay’s forehead, Jay blushed and hugged his girlfriend. Both kai and Lloyd made a face saying ‘get a room’, the girls giggled at them.
“Alright here are the omelettes, enjoy yourself. Once you guys are done, please place them in the sink and get ready.” Misako told the group and they all nod their heads. Misako left them real quick because she has to get ready as well for her interview. She went to her room real quick to get a set of clothes and went to the bathroom which took 20 minutes in total. Once she finished getting ready she left the bathroom and saw the girls ready to go and Lloyd as well. Meanwhile, Kai, Jai, Cole and Zane was still getting ready.
At 8am, everyone was ready and all left the apartment and headed towards the school. Misako doesn’t have a car yet because she couldn’t afford one yet so hopefully with this job interview she gets the job and earns money and pays Maya and Ray back. The group all chatted amongst themselves, Misako chimed in every now and then.
They reached the school gates and Misako stops, “Alright kids, have a good day at school” Everyone nodded, Misako gave Lloyd a kiss on the head, he blushed beacsue he was embarrassed. The guys were making faces because Lloyd still gets embarrassed, Misako smirks and looks at them.
“Do you guys want a kiss as well?” Misako teased and the guys quickly shakes their heads and dashed in the school building, both Nya and Pixel laughed at them and gave Misako a quick hug and followed the boys.
“Alright Lloyd, I’ll see you after school?”Lloyd nods and hugs his mum.
“Yeah, Good Luck mum.” He smiles and with that he disappears in the schools building. She waved him off and started to walk down the same street as the local supermarket but there was a turn before the markets.
Misako looks up at the building, enters the building. She must say that the building is so beautiful there was some artefacts shown on the walls and at the entrance there was a statue of the Stone Warriors. She walks up to the receptionist.
“Good Morning, i’m here for an interview for Misako Garmadon.” Misako smiled at her, the lady at the desk widened her eyes and checks her computer real quick.
“Yes, if you follow me please, Ms. Garmadon.” The lady stands up and walks over to the elevators, Misako quickly follows her. Once the elevator door opens, they entered the lift and the lady clicked on the ‘40’th floor button. There was a solid 5 minutes, awkward silence and once they reached the floor, the elevator dings and opens.
“Right this way, Ms. Garmadon”, Misako followed her and the lady knocks on the door, there was a voice at the other side telling them to enter. The lady opens the door and once Misako enters the door, she sees someone she didn’t want to see for a very long time.
“Garmadon.” Misako looks at him, he looks back.
“Misako.”

“Garmadon.” Misako looks at him, he looks back.
“Misako.”
The two lovers looks at each other, Garmadon was near the window again and Misako was at the door. Misako glared at Garmadon. Garmadon really wants to hold her in his arms again and giving her loads of kisses but he stopped himself because he knows that Misako wants answers.
While Misako wants to leave the building and never come back to the place ever. She was thinking at the spot to look for a casual retail job or try another business that she has the required skills for.
“Is this some sort of joke?!” Misako growled through her teeth and looks at Garmadon with anger in her eyes.
“Where’s the actual interviewer. I don’t actually believe it's you.” Garmadon looks at Misako, Misako was doing a ‘sassy pose’ but not really sassy, more like ‘pissed off mum pose’ . Garmadon tries to find his words but couldn’t because it’s been a decade since he last saw Misako. He lost words of how beautiful she is. He fell in love again, after seeing her 12 years later, her beauty was still shown. He really wants to hug her again in his arms, he honestly does.
Garmadon cleared his throat, “No I am the person who will interview you. I am the owner of ‘History of the Forgotten’.” He sat down on his chair, hoping Misako would sit down as well. Misako was still glaring at him and crossed her arms in front of her chest.
“Yeah like I’ll believe that. You only accepted the application because you wanted to see me isn’t it?” Misako was still glaring at Garmadon. Garmadon knew that Misako was a tough woman, she is like a tiger who never backs down on its prey. He always like that about her, her feistiness and her determination. He sighed and nodded his head.
“Yes but we actually do have a proposition as a chief archaeologist. The team goes out to find old ancient artefacts from the Serpentine War or when the First SpinJitzu Master, my father has some old artefacts laying all over ninjago.” Misako believed him about going out to find some old relics of the past but she’s not buying it.
“How would I know that your not lying to me?” Misako asked Garmadon, Garmadon looks at her as she finally sat down on the chair. Garmadon brought out a document, placed it in a file and slides it over to her. She looks at it and opens the file and there was 4 separate documents. She reads the documents and looks back at Garmadon.
“Everything in the file I gave you, it involves personal details, banking, and the terms and regulations of this company.” He told Misako while she was still looking through and reading the documents.
“Why would I lie to you? I will tell you with full honesty.” Misako sarcastically laughed at that statement. Misako shakes her and and closes the file. She didn’t rudely pass the file but slides back the file and gives him a serious face.
“Bullshit. You lied to me about the letter but yes I did forgive you, and still loved you. But you lied about having a second partner!” Misako yelled at Garmadon, she started to grab her things again and stands up.a
“Not ONLY that. You never fucking once try to reach out to me or even your own son! I never fucking cut contacted with you, I still had your number saved on my phone hoping you’ll reach out but I guess it was pointless. Both me and Lloyd tried to reach you through your phone number, did you change it or BLOCKED US!” Misako couldn’t control her anger and yelled at Garmadon with everything that she bottled up for so long. Garmadon grabs her arm, not hard but softly.
“Let go. I’m done with this interview. I’m going to look for another job and move again if needed. To get away from you.” Garmadon looks at Misako, she has hatred in her eyes. There was a glimpse of sadness in her eyes but was covered in hatred.
“I’M NOT LOSING YOU AGAIN!” Garmadon screamed with tears started to form, he looks away not to see Misako’s face.
“I just can’t…” He whispered loud enough that Misako heard him. Misako looked around the room, there were a few artefacts that was only under Garmadon’s and Wu’s possession that their father gave to them before he passed away. She also saw a family photo. It was when they all took a photo with Lloyd when he was 3 years old.
Suddenly she feels Garmadon letting go, Misako turns back and saw him covering his face with his arms. She didn’t know if she wants to leave or not. Her heart aches. Misako’s face saddens and made out a sigh.
“I thought you cut contacts with me. I was going to try talking to you but I never had the strength to check out whether you blocked me or not. I remember the court, you won full custody of Lloyd and I can visit whenever you are present. And yes I did change my number.” Garmadon didn’t want to face Misako at all because he was hiding his tears. Misako takes out her phone and grabs the court files that she saved on her phone and nudges Garmadon to look at her.
“I never ever put a restraining order on you. I never blocked you at all.” Garmadon didn’t budge because he doesn’t know what else to say. Misako didn’t know what to do at this stage, she doesn’t want to leave Garmadon all sad and gloomy. She thinks of many possibly ways for Garmadon to be happy again but some leads to her kissing Garmadon’s forehead or giving him a simple hug. Even then, she doesn’t know what to do.
After thinking for a bit, hearing Garmadon’s sniffle and small cry, she had to ask about ‘that’ night. The night that everything went down and leading towards the divorce and no contact for 12 years.
“Answer me this then. If you say that you tell me anything in full honesty.” Misako bit her lip. Garmadon didn't move but can still hear her.
“Did you actually had another woman?”

“Did you actually had another woman?”
Misako looks at Garmadon, few moments went by and there was nothing. She sighed and again stand up and grabbed her things and started to walk towards the door. She was going to open the door until she heard Garmadon spoke up.
“No. It was a setup.” Misako turned around to look at Garmadon and this time she saw tear marks on his face and was still looking away from her. She glances at her phone, no missed messages or calls. Misako had the choice to leave but her heart tells her otherwise. She walks back to the table and sat down in front of him and this time she’ll be patient and wait for him to speak.
“What do you mean, ‘it was a setup?’” Misako asked him, she saw Garmadon blinking a few times and looked at his computer and logged in. She has a feeling that there was more things that was never said between the two but only recently found out, she just has the feeling.
“Remember Clouse?” Misako nods, “Somehow he got into the house, and then transformed into me and walked in with the client in hand. 30 Minutes went by and there was some ‘noises’ coming out of the room and that’s where you came in and saw everything” Garmadon looks at Misako with the evidence playing on the computer. She watched the video as Garmadon was talking about it and nearly gagged on the spot.
“I thought Clouse was a good mate of mine but after seeing this, I’m not sure anymore.” Garmadon sighs and started to chew on his nails.
Silence filled the air.
“So all this time it was a lie. Then why didn’t you say anything?” Misako looks at Garmadon, he looked away. He didn’t know what to say at this point. He thought that Misako would think it was a lie and it was all fake but after Misako seeing Clouse transforming himself as Garmadon, she really wants to punch something. Garmadon looks up and sees her biting her lip. He could tell she was very anxious. But at the same time he really wanted to kiss those lips of hers. Oh he wishes he can bite them.
“After I saw Lloyd, me and him went back to our old home and we looked through the cameras of that day and what I’m telling you is me telling you the truth.” Garmadon clicked on his pen as he tries to distract himself from the thought and gets up another file showing that he was in the basement coming in and out. Misako was silent, she started to question everything.
“You kept the house…?” There was a bit of sadness in the tone, Garmadon noticed that her aurora was slowly becoming sad. He really wants to hug her, he really does.
“Yeah. I didn’t want to lose everything you know? Besides the bloody bedroom.” Garmadon scoffed when he mentioned the ‘bedroom’, Misako wouldn’t help but laughed at the last statement.
“Here’s me coming in and out of the basement” Garmadon plays the clip and Misako watched it. She groaned, and now she really wishes she could slap her past self.
“... I’m sorry that I didn’t believe you.” Misako looks down at her lap, Garmadon smiles at her and in the first time after a decade he reaches out to her hand which was on the table and place his hand on top of hers. Misako had a shock of realisation and looked at the hands. Neither did Misako or Garmadon take their hands away from each other. Misako quickly blushed and disconnected their hands and put her hand on her lap. She heard Garmadon chuckle at her.
“It’s fine. I wish I looked into this sooner, I guess you could say I was still in disbelief? Every now and then I drown myself with such sad memories when it was just us two and some other thoughts would be with Lloyd as well.” Misako looks up and saw Garmadon clicking on the pen at least every 15 seconds. She could tell that he still misses her.
Garmadon looks at the time, 12pm shit. He straightened himself up and cleared his throat. “So Misako, would you like to start this interview now? Or you decline this position?” Misako shakes her head because its been 3 hours and in those 3 hours they were talking about the past and stuff so when Garmadon asked about the proper interview she agrees to it.
Misako was mad at first because seeing her ex-husband after 12 years and seeing him the owner of the job that she really is excited for but slowly forgives him during the time but not enough to trust him.
“Yes, that will be delightful.” She smiles and Garmadon Smiles back.

“I really hope my mum doesn’t bite off my dads head.” Lloyd said it to himself but said it out loud for the group to hear. Cole and Zane both gave him the raised eyebrow.
“What do you mean ‘doesn’t bite off your dads head’” Zane asked, Lloyd quickly cursed at himself and looks at the group.
“Oh you know, my mother is having an interview at my dads company.” Lloyd made an awkward smile. The group didn’t understand what Lloyd said until a few moments later they were all shocked.
“WAIT REALLY?! I THOUGHT YOUR MUM HATES YOUR DAD” The group shouted and everyone who was around them gave them a look. They didn’t care but they were still shocked.
“I thought your mum would do anything in her power to never cross paths with your dad” Nya looked at Lloyd with a confused look. Both Jay and Kai were playing card games so they weren’t listening enough. Lloyd looked away for a brief moment because little did they all know besides his dad, that he gave his mum his business card and things escalated from there.
“Well, about that…” Lloyd made an awkward face.
Lloyd took a deep breath and explained to the group about everything that happened on Wednesday afternoon (I know Garmadon said Monday but it was actually Wednesday they actually talked in person).
After a good summary of Wednesday afternoon, half of the group didn’t know what to say.
“Isn’t your mum thinking to do a get together if she gets this job?” Kai asked because how he knows about the get together was his mum talking about to to his dad. Nya did an ‘oh yeah’ look because she forgot about her mum talking about it.
“Well yeah? But now I’m starting to think that it might not happen.” Lloyd leaned back on the tree and sighs. Both Pixel and Jay exchanged looks.
“Maybe it won’t but there is a small possibility according to my calculations, that it’ll happen.” Pixel analysis the situation and calculated in her mind.
“It might be wrong but I am confident that your mum might get this job and the small celebration will happen” Pixel smiles at Lloyd, he looks at Pixel and bowed his head.
“Thanks Pixel. That does give me a bit of hope.” Lloyd again smiles at her. So only after the bell rings and the group all departed ways to their final class of the week.
As Lloyd walks to his final class, Physical Education with Kai and Zane, he checked his phone and there was no notification from his mum or dad. So he really hopes that interview goes out well.

At the end of the day Lloyd hanged out with his friends because it was the weekend so they all went to the arcade to play some games together. Both Jay and Nya went to ‘Just dance’ and they both danced together to make a great combo together, Kai and Cole just played on the plushie machine, and try to get plushies for themselves or something. While Zane, Pixel and Lloyd was trying to look around to find a game they would all like to play, there was some games around them that never caught their eye. But eventually they stopped at the air hockey and thought that’ll be fun. First round was Lloyd and Pixel and whoever wins swap with the loser.
A couple of hours went by and it was around 7pm and they were all still playing arcade games. Jay and Nya are no longer playing ‘Just Dance’ and started to play the car racing which can lead to 4 plays so Nya, Lloyd, Kai and Zane played together while Cole, Jay and Pixel cheers for everyone!
“Come on Nya, I believe in you!” Jay squealed as he cheered on his love, and he claps his hands that Nya was so ahead of the others that he nearly shakes her shoulders but stopped himself or that’ll make her distracted.
At the end of their final game, Nya came frist and then Zane and there was a draw between Kai and Lloyd but Lloyd beats him to the 3rd place in the last minute. Everyone cheers and congrats to the players, there was a huge audience around the ninja group and they cheered on each of the ninjas who were playing against each other.
“Alright I think we should all head home for now” Jay said to the group as they all double checked their belongings and they all exited the building and stopped to the right of the exit. They checked their phones if their parents had messaged them at all but the only ones that messaged was Lloyd of course, Cole and Pixel. The messages from any of their parents was a good message like with Lloyd, he saw that his mum had the interview but wishes to talk to him about something so he was kinda scared that his dad might have told her everything. He also saw his dad messaged him about the interview but also mentioned to prepare himself what Misako is going to say to him. Lloyd looks at that final message and have a bad feeling about this.
“Oh boy…” Lloyd made a big sigh, he accepted his fate.
“Well I’ll see you guys tomorrow at the Monastery tomorrow for training?” Cole pointed out to the group and they all agreed. They all said their goodbyes all all departed separate ways. Some went the same direction because they live nearby and some went alone because they live on different sides of the city.
As Lloyd walks through the streets alone, he messaged his father back and then switched contacts to his mum's one and messaged her that he’s on his way home now. He saw a bubble from his mum and it says ‘that’s fine honey, I made dinner but get home soon because there’s something I have to ask you.’ He felt a nervous tingle down his throat and replied with a thumbs up emoji and got out of the scrolls app (messages) and clicked on Tunewaves (Spotify) and clicked on his favourite playlist and clicked on shuffle, placing his phone in his pocket.

Misako turned off her phone as Lloyd replied with a thumbs up emoji, she quickly finished making the vegetables and went over to the rice cooker and opened the lid. Steam came out of the cooker and she opened the drawer and grabbed the rice spoon and scooped 2 servings for both herself and Lloyd. She placed the rice on the counter and went over to the stove and grabbed two pieces of kitchen clothes very slowly to grab the soup and slowly turns around to place it on the counter and placed it on top of a tablecloth. Once she placed it and turns around again to put all the veggies on two separate places because she made 2 dishes and put the two of them on the plates and placed them down on the table.
Misako looks at the prepared food for her and Lloyd, in the back of her mind she still thinks about the job offer.
-Flash back-
“Why would you think this is a suitable job for you Misako?” Garmadon asked, looking down at the resume that he printed out and looks over at the employment history and volunteer work. He was surprised that she has been digging a lot of artefacts and the was only successful with one and it was one of the Serpentine fang blades.
“In my personal experiences I have been doing over the last 2 decades, not only I found some old relics of the past but there are many places I would like to look into and have a big research team that I used to have” Garmadon nods and has few ideas and teams that Misako can actually join and is suitable for.
“I feel like I might be a good suitable person as a Chef Archaeologist. Because of past experience when I found old relics and artefacts.” As she said that, she saw Garmadon writing something but couldn’t make out and he placed his pen on his desk. Garmadon looks up to Misako.
“Is there any questions you have for me or the company?” He asked, Misako had a quick thought about it.
“If I do get this job would I start next week or in 2 weeks?” Misako looks at Garmadon, and he quickly eyed his emails and leaned forward. Not too close to her face but leaned forward and puts his hand together on the table.
“You’ll start next week. If you get this job… But do you trust me?” He eyes Misako and she had a change of facial expression. She blink a few times and straighten herself up.
“I don’t fully trust you yet but, I believe things will get better over time.” Garmadon nods his head, and there was a small silence between the two of them.
“That’s fair. There is one more interview I have at 4pm, and I will email both of you guys who will get the job.” Misako bowed her head.
“Thank you for the interview, Garmadon.” Misako smiles, she stands up and bows. She straightens up and walks over to the door and opens it, she quickly turns back to see Garmadon looking at his computer.
“I don’t trust you yet but it’s good that we covered ‘that night’ incident. But I am open to start over again.” She said to Garmadon and left the room. Garmadon was about to say something but Misako left the room but he had a smile on his face.
Garmadon looks back at his computer to check the time and it says, 2:00pm. Lunch time. He’s stomach growled and he checked his work bag but he didn’t bag anything, well he’s going to go down to the local bakery to get his regular order.
“Heh. I guess this is the beginning.” Garmadon said to himself and smiles at the idea that he might have a chance to get back together with Misako and possibly remarry and have the family back together again.

“Sorry ma I’m late, I was at the arcade with the gang and since it’s the weekend we planned to go there for a while. Sorry again of not telling you” Lloyd placed his bag on the couch as he saw his mother sat down at the kitchen table. He quickly went to the counter and saw the yummy food that his mother made. Once he got to the table, he couldn’t choose where to start.
“Hungry?” Misako asked, Lloyd nods his head and she giggles letting him taking the first bite. Once Lloyd takes bits of each food, Misako followed him and together they ate dinner in silence.
Misako got up and leaned forward to grab the ladle and poured soup for herself and for Lloyd because they have separate bowls for the soup and placed each bowl down for the both of them. Misako again sat down and looks at her son.
“Be honest with me Lloyd, did you gave me that business card because you knew your father was the owner of the place?” Misako asked as she had another bite of her food and chewed on it and then swallowing it afterwards. Lloyd looks at her gaze and then finishes the soup that his mum gave him and placed it down.
“Yeah. I saw him not long ago and wanted to talk to him? Well It was a harsh meeting because I kinda yelled at him because I wanted some answers and I guess it led to a small argument. It wasn’t bad but he told me that he wouldn’t do such things because he loves you and would do anything just for you.” Lloyd told his mum, he grabbed his chopsticks and reached over to get more food on his plate and then stand up to walk into the kitchen to grab another serving of rice and sat down afterwards.
“I see.” Misako glances over to the roses that were still healthy and bit her lip. She finished her food was still hungry so she did the same as Lloyd and came back.
“He knew that the only way to see you again was through a job interview and I guess it didn’t go too well?” Lloyd looks at his mum with a sorry face of keeping this away from her. Her face relaxed and smiled at her boy and patted his head.
“No, it did went well. There was a heated moment I’ll say that but at the very end we had the interview and he told me he has another interview person at 4pm so I guess either today or tomorrow he’ll reach out.” Lloyd stares into his food because he still feels guilty but he knows his mum well that things worked out well. Lloyd finished his food again and placed the chopsticks on top of the bowl and swings the chair around to face his mum.
“So you’re not mad…?” He made a guilty face because he doesn’t know if Misako was mad or not. He looks up to see her smiling.
“No, I’m not mad. I guess you can say I’m glad that you did this.” Misako reassured Lloyd that she wasn’t mad and gave him a hug. Lloyd was feeling a lot better and hugged his mother back.
Lloyd nearly cried but he didn’t because he was stressing out if he did the wrong thing because after his dad messaged him about it, so he was worried but he calmed down and was happy.
After they finished dinner, Lloyd helped his mother out with the dishes and he asked his mum if she wanted to do a movie night and she likes the idea very much. When the dishes were done, Lloyd told his mum that he has homework to do which was Maths. She was fine with him doing homework and before Lloyd started to do his homework it was 7pm, and they both agreed to start watching a movie around 9pm because getting ready and stuff like that. They both went to their rooms for a bit.
Misako looks at herself in the mirror, nothing has changed other than her having the mark that Garmadon gave to her. She touched it. She doesn’t know what the mark does at all, because she knows about the mating season or some say ‘heat cycle’, but when she looks or touches the mark she doesn’t even know what it does. She shrugged at the thought because it’ll do no harm and just put cream on her face and some on top of her shoulders and chest. She left her bedroom bathroom and looked at the time, 7:45pm. She had plenty of time so she went to her mini bookshelf and grabbed a book and sat on her bed reading the first couple of chapters.
Lloyd was struggling at the question, it was trigonometry. It wasn’t his favourite topic but he knows what to do though. He always draws out the SOH CAH TOA and how it is done so that he never forgets it at all.
He looks at the final question, he reads it and tries to make many different answers on a separate sheet but couldn’t find the right answer. After an hour has passed, he looked at the time and it was 8:15pm and he was still stuck on the final question. He groaned and face palmed on the table, he was about to give up until he had an idea. He quickly brought Grindalcord (Discord) up on his computer and asked his group how to do the final question. 5 minutes later, both Zane and Cole responded and told him the answer and showed him how they calculated it. He quickly thanked them and made his own equation and how he get the answer.
“Yes I’m done!” He cheered as he got up from his gaming chair and flopped on his bed. He again checked the time and its now 8:30pm. He quickly looked at himself, he was still in his school clothes, quickly grabbed his towel and bed clothes and headed towards the bathroom.
9pm strolls around both Misako and Lloyd were sitting on the couch and looking through TV to see if any films was rolling and stopped when they saw ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’, a classic film.
“Didn’t we finish the series?” Lloyd asked his mum, Misako nods.
“Yeah but who doesn’t like an old classic film” Misako smiles and Lloyd agrees to her statement and they watched the film together.

Sunday night came around and Misako was swiping down the kitchen stove and then the counter. She heard a ding coming from her phone, Misako quickly finished cleaning the stove and walked over to the other side of the kitchen where her phone was on the counter. She turned it on and saw an email from Garmadon. She bit her lip getting all anxious, she looked around the kitchen if she was missing any spots. The stove was clean, the dishes was put away, she put fresh new water fro the roses and glanced over to the living room and it was clean. She went over to where the light switch was and it was near the door, she switched off the first 2 buttons on the top left and the bottom right. She guided herself towards her bedroom and locked the door behind her, she turned her bedroom light on and walked over to her bag. She grabbed out her laptop and went to her bed and sat on top of the sheets.
Once she turned it on she clicked on the mail app and clicked on the email that Garmadon sent her and she opens it.

I hope that your weekend is going well, I’m here to email you that you got the job. After reviewing your applications and reaching out to your old employers, you are suitable for this job. We are excited to offer the position of Head chief archaeologist and would love for you to come in for your first day of training.
If you accept, your starting date will be on Tuesday, 8th May at 8am at History of the Forgotten, please meet Blossom, the lady at the reception and she’ll lead you to me at my office and then I'll give you a tour around the place.

Misako finished reading the email and saw that Garmadon attached his phone number. She grabbed her phone and opened the phone and went to the contacts app and created a new one labeling, ‘Garmadon’, and ‘Boss’, she put down the place she was working under his name so that she wouldn’t get confused at all. She thinks that this is his work phone because it’d be quite weird if he gave her his personal number.
Misako quickly clicked on ‘new mail’ and started to type out her response. She gave a good thought about how she could respond to the email, she grabbed her glasses from her nightstand to help her concentrate.

Misako quickly read through again before hitting send, the time was 10:15pm so it was getting late for her. She put away her glasses on the nightstand, turned off her laptop, and placed it underneath her glasses. She got out of bed and went over to the light switch, switched it off and went back to her bed again and went under the covers.
Her weekend with Lloyd was fun, on Saturday they went to the amusement park to enjoy the day to themselves and then Misako made Lloyd’s favourite dinner dish as a special occasion and watched the next film of Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets.
Sunday Morning it was a relaxed day, Lloyd went out with his buddies and came home around 9pm, he told Misako beforehand that he’ll go out for dinner with the buddies and she was fine with it.
When he returned home, he kissed his mother goodnight on the cheek and went to his room.
Time skip to the current time, Misako doubled checked that everything has been done before Monday like Lloyd’s clothes were ready to go and she has plenty of food for the rest of the week. She quickly reminded herself to see Maya again and tell her the news and when she can repay her for everything she has done for herself and Lloyd.
‘I’ll tell Lloyd the good news tomorrow morning when she takes Lloyd to school.’ Misako thought to herself as she quickly sent Maya a quick message asking for a Girl’s Day with just herself, Maya and Edna.

“Lloyd, honey I got the job!” Misako said with excitement in her voice, Lloyd looked up from his phone and stopped his tracks, hugging his mother.
“That’s great news! I’m so happy that you got the job ma!” Lloyd smiles at his mum and she hugs back and strokes his hair a bit.
“When do you start?” Lloyd looks up to his mother.
“8th May. So next week I start.” Lloyd hums and they start to walk down the street again. They reached the school gates and stopped walking. Lloyd quickly hugged his mum and kissed her cheek.
“I’m so happy that you got the job Mum! I’ll try to plan something out for all of us!” He said as he hugged his mum and then legs go, he waved his mum goodbye and walked through the school gates and Misako lost sight of him when he was walking through the sea of students outside.
Misako waved back and turned back and started to head home.
Along the way her phone vibrated, she checked and it was Maya saying she’d be down meeting Wednesday, soonly after Enda was ok with the idea and couldn’t wait to see them again.
‘Great we meet at 10am?’ Misako texted the group, and the girls were ok with the time.
As Misako was walking back home she saw a familiar figure. She tried to squint her eyes to see who it is but couldn’t. As she walks closer she can’t figure out who it is, once she gets near the figure, they disappeared into the sea of citizens. Misako tried to look around her surroundings, there was just people walking around and she can’t find the figure who was near her building gates.
“Who was that?” Misako asked herself as she took out the keycard and tapped the gate’s keypad. She entered through the building gates and tapped again on her complex’s keypad and opened the door.
Little did she know the figure was still watching her from afar.

A teenage boy was watching Misako walking into her building. The boy just watched her from afar. He checked his phone and it was sure it was his Auntie Misako. The boy only knows so little about his Aunt. His dad, Wu talks about her. Not in a romantic way but a sibling love way. He really wants to talk to her because he’s sort of interested in History like she does and maybe make a bond between the two of them. Maybe grow close to his Cousin, Lloyd but he doesn’t know how to because he is in his last year of high school and he never approached him because he knew Lloyd when he was a baby.
“So this is where they live. I guess father was right.” he said to himself, suddenly his phone rang, he checked the phone and it was his father. He also checked the time, Shit school already started.
He picked up, and placed it near his ear. “Morro! Why aren’t you at school!” Wu shouted through the phone, Morro moved the phone away from his ear because he knew how loud his dad can get on the phone.
“This is the second time this has happened this year, tell me son is someone bullying you?” Wu sighed over the phone and asked his son in worry.
“No Father, I just wanted to visit somewhere before school and lost track of time. Sorry again Father.” Morro apologised and Wu forgave him. They had a small chat that lasted 10 minutes and ended the call once Morro entered the school gates.
As Morro walked into the building and headed towards the office, he was still thinking about the conversation he just had with his father. Morro told Wu that he was at Misako’s complex trying to see if he got the place right, Wu told him that he was at the right place but asked why he was there. Morro told his dad that he wanted to get close to his cousin and Wu understood him. Wu mentioned that Lloyd goes to the Monastery every weekend but last weekend he had to cancel because he was looking after his son, Morro. Morro felt guilty that his dad had to cancel but was happy that Wu allowed him to visit anytime.
Morro entered his class apologising to the teacher and went to his seat. Morro’s seat was located near the window, not at the back of the class but at the centre row. He glanced over at the window and he saw Lloyd playing basketball with few of his friends. He guessed that it was Physical education class for him so he just continued watching Lloyd’s game.

Misako entered the building and stopped near the lobby and went to the mailbox which was also in the lobby. She opened her box with her key and saw there was some mail dedicated to her and one for Lloyd. Misako quickly opened one of the mails and it was the renting bill, she quickly went to the lobby and pressed on the ‘up button’ and a few moments later the elevator dings and she walked in.
Misako closed the door behind her, took off her shoes, placed the mail on the kitchen counter and then went towards the couch. She sat down and slowly sank into the nice soft couch. She slowly dozed of because how comfortable she was and how tired she was as well. Misako is a young middle-aged tagged woman in her 40s gets tried easier but is strong so that she’s able to work through the day till the night. The only time she takes a nap if she feels exhausted after cleaning the house or after a long day at work.
As the day went by, Misako slept soundly on the couch. Lloyd was at school learning things that he already learned from his mother, he was also learning new things as well and he was also hanging out with his mates during break times. Garmadon watches his business run through CTTV cameras, greets his workers and very rarely gives tours in his Musesmn itself. Garmadon mostly tries to distract himself though. So today he took the 3rd tourist group of the day and led them all around the lobby, then lead them to the frist and second floors.

Garmadon walks around the 3rd floor of the museum trying to cure his boredom. After the third tour that he was leading around the place, he started to stroll around the 3rd floor. He passed by a semi-related statue of the Great Devourer. He stopped his tracks and looks at the statue. He glared at the statue because the snake bit him when he was a child. Garmadon looks around the 3rd floor and there was few things missing for the third floor to be opened to the public. He reminded himself that he has a meeting with Pythor allowing the public to see the floor and what he thinks about the entire room format.
Garmadon left the third floor because there was workers working on the floors and placing artefacts that Garmadon has in store which was approved with the Serpentine people and allows the Serpentine to look at the floor before the grand opening. Once he got in the elevator and clicked on ‘floor 25’, which was the food court, he got on his phone and messaged Pythor about the meeting and when they should meet up. He put his phone away as the elevator dings, applying that Garmadon reached floor 25.
“One 10 nugget meal with Coke No Sugar.” Garmadon told the person who was at the register and the person at the other side of the register nods and tapped on the tablet. The man looks at Garmadon
“Would that be cash or card Lord Garmadon?” Garmadon took out a 10 out of his pocket and handed it towards the guy, the guy took it and gave his receipt straight away. After a couple of minutes later, Garmadon received his food and started to head back to the elevators again and clicked on the last floor, which was 40 and it was his office room and a place where he likes to nap when he feels like it.
He reachs his office and shuts it behind him. He walked over to his desk and started to eat his lunch. As he was eating he scrolled through Springram (Instagram) and saw his son’s post and he saw that it was Lloyd and Misako smiling together at the amusement park and swiped another 3 times and the last 3 photos was him and his friends but the last slide, slide 4 was Misako sleeping and Garmadon is guessing a movie night? He pressed the ‘heart’ button and was staring at the sleeping Misako on the couch and Lloyd was very close to the camera that you can see his dark emerald eyes staring into your eyes. Garmadon found that cute because he knows how goofy his son can get. A memory flashed by Garmadon’s mind and it was Lloyd when he was 3, Lloyd ran around the house without a nappy both him and Misako chased after him but couldn’t for over an hour but in the end, they put the nappy on Lloyd but it was too tiring. When Lloyd was 3 he was hyperactive, he started to walk when he was around a year and 10 months and now he has so much energy.
Garmadon smiles at the memory and within that he finished his food. He saw his phone lit up and he checked it and it was from Pythor, Pythor said that they can meet up this Thursday Mid-day, 1pm. Garmadon messaged back and started to work again on his computer.
Few hours gone by and Garmadon was just reading the daily news and also trying to map out where other artefacts are. He knows that his father had many artefacts lying around but he can’t find it himself. He knows that his dad gave Wu the Golden Weapons of Spinjitsu for safekeeping and for the next Fire, Earth, Lightning and Ice masters. Wu never gave his brother the weapons which Garmadon understands so Wu kept it at the Monastery.
In Garmadon’s office, he has his Katana from when he was little, The Dragon Amour, The Helment that controlled the Stone Armies, and his old Kimono. Most of the stuff that their father passed down was in a safe sacred place or Wu has it. He was fine with it, but since there is a section on the second floor about Ninjago’s history in general and there was a statue of his father in the centre.
By the end the day Garmadon left the building and headed home.

Misako woke up from the couch and checked the time and it was 3pm. She was alseep for 5 hours. She sighed and started to do something like making afternoon tea for herself and Lloyd. She got to the kitchen and saw the roses on the counter and they were slowly withering but she never figured out who it was so she messaged Garamdon asking if he had given her the roses.
‘Afternoon Garmadon, I just have a question. It has nothing to do with the job but a general question.’ Misako sent the message and waited patiently for the kettle to boil so that she can have her afternoon green tea.
‘Yeah ask away.’ Misako looked at the message and took a deep breath and typed away.
‘Did you send me roses?’ she asked and attached the roses. It wasn’t the now withering ones but the first time she got the bach and sent the image to him. She waited for his response.
‘Yeah, I did.’ Her eyes widened

‘Yeah, I did.’ Her eyes widened
Misako doesn’t know to either cry or wants to throw her phone. She went over to the couch, completely forgetting about the tea and sat down. She remained calm and as she looks back at the roses, her heart felt that after all this time he still remembered her favourite flowers. She took a deep breath and replied back to him.
‘I see and you didn’t stalk me right..?’ She asked
‘No. I’m not a monster Misako. I dropped Lloyd off at your place the other night and I entered your building with Lloyd’s card. I already returned it to him, but I’m not a stalker Misako. I don’t mean any harm. I just wanted to be friendly to you.’ He does have a point there, but she still wonders how did Wu got in, maybe he told the guards on patrol and he was allowed in.
‘Sorry. Shouldn’t be jumping into conclusions.’ Misako apologised, and he forgave her. Both Misako and Garmadon had been texting for over an hour about things in general. Garmadon gave her his actual number so that the conversation they were having kept on his personal phone then his work phone. Since the meeting where Misako saw Garmadon again, she decided to start things all over again and taking it slow. As she was waiting for Garmadon’s response, she massaged her neck because her neck was growing sore. There was text bubbles that appears but they keep on disappearing every 2 minutes and she thinks that Garmadon is taking his time to answer her. Little did she know it was something else.

Garmadon was typing his response when Misako asked him what he was doing for the last 10 years he was about to finish typing until he felt a trigger of pleasure. Garmadon was in the lounge room and he tried his very best to quickly send Misako a message but failed to. He doesn’t know why he is feeling like this because this has happened at least a couple of times.
Gamradon wandered around the room back and forth, he tries to run many ideas through his head but nothing came out. Until he stops and realises that Misako still has the mark that claimed her as his mate.
“Shit, does she still remember?” He asked himself and sat back down and sent her the message and buried his head in his hands. He should’ve known but at the same time he forgets easily. He bit his lip and he realised it’s spring. Fuck he has to bloody hibernate because he’s not going to last a very long when Misako is near him. He knows how to control himself, but after smelling her scent from afar when she frist came into Ninjago City again, he controlled himself and remained calm. When Lloyd reached out to him he was thinking that there might be a possible chance that things will get better over time.
Garmadon saw his phone light up and saw a message from Misako, ‘I’m planning to make a small get-together with family and friends and I was thinking if you, Wu and his son would come over. It’ll be on this Saturday. The entire thing will be a whole event and if Lloyd’s friends wish to stay they are more welcome to.’ His face light up, she wants him there? Garmadon smiles at the thought.
‘I’d be happy to come along. Is there anything I should bring along?’ Garmadon looks at her text again just in case and sure enough it was an invitation.
‘Just you would be lovely’, Garmadon looks at the text and he feels like she was flirting with him but he’s very unsure. After the invention, they continued to chat until 4:30pm and separate ways to do their own things.
Again Garmadon felt the shock of pleasure, he really wants to ask Misako badly if she knows about the mark because if she does that's one way to tease your ex-husband and your boss. He growls as he headed towards his room and takes a shower so that hopefully he doesn’t have to think.

Lloyd entered the apartment and saw his mum massaging her neck. He put away his shoes and went over to her. “Hey mum, are you sore there?” Misako nods her head.
“Yeah. Not sure why I’m always sore. I guess it’s because I sleep on my side a lot?” Lloyd shrugged but he made his way to the kitchen to make his mum some Green tea. As Lloyd was making his mum tea and microwaving the fried rice that was in the fridge, his mum told him something that he was never expecting.
“This Saturday I’ve invited your friends and our family to come by and all hang out as one.” Lloyd hummed and wasn’t expecting this to happen at all. The kettle whistled and Lloyd poured the hot water into the teapot and grabbed two tea cups and placed them on the tray. Lloyd walked over to where his mum was and poured the Green tea for the both of them and then handed the cup to Misako.
“Thanks, sweetie.” Misako smiles at Lloyd. They both drank in silence and Lloyd was eating the fried rice along the way. Lloyd finished his tea and had a small portion left of the rice, he glanced over at his mum.
“Mum when you said ‘our family’, do you mean Dad?” Lloyd asked his mother, she placed down her cup and nods her head.
“Yeah but also Wu. If I remember correctly you might also meet your Cousin, Morro.” Lloyd looks at his mother with a confused look.
“I have a cousin?” Misako nods her head, “Since when? I thought it was just me, you dad and Uncle Wu.” Lloyd heard his mum laughed at him. He gave her a serious face but then softened up.
“You only met him when you were a baby, at the age of 3 years old just a month before you turned 4. Wu adopted morro when he was only 2 years old. ” Lloyd was having a deep thought because he heard of a ‘Morro’ before but can’t figure out where.
“Do you have a photo?” Miskao brought her phone up and scrolled through Scrollbook(Facebook) and saw a family photo of Wu and Morro. She double check the date if it was a recent one and luckily for her, it was a recent one.
“Here, if I remember correctly he goes to the same school as you but he’s in his last year.” Misako showed him the photo and once Lloyd looks at it, he made a shocked face.
“I know that kid! He’s like the popular kid at school and most girls flaw over him” Lloyd rolled his eyes and Misako giggled and ruffled his hair.
“I’m sure there's someone out there who likes you” Misako smiled at him, he made a small pout face and leaned on his mum's shoulders.
They were both lost in thought. Both of them were thinking different things like Misako was thinking about what everyone can do on the day and Lloyd was thinking all over the place. He was thinking about the party and like what games he could play together like Minecraft, any Switch games, Tekken 8 or binge watch anime. But his main thought was his mum and dad. Would they eventually get back together after all that has happened? And he was also thinks that he needs ‘a talk’ with either his dad or mum. Lloyd looks up at Misako who was on her phone looking up places and looked away real quick.
“Hey, mum?” Misako hummed in acknowledgement, Lloyd thought about what he’d say first and he cleared his mind and throat.
“I know that I have already hit puberty but I have been researching about dad’s side of the family… I’ve looked into it, and it’s something that they go through yearly, called ‘mating season’... Eventually when I find someone… I have to claim them as mine right…?” Lloyd straightens himself up and looks away from his mother, Misako kinda freezes herself. Misako was semi-panicking in her mind as of right now. She already told him about puberty but not ‘those things’, she took a deep breath and curses at herself wishing Garmadon was here to tell Lloyd everything.
“Y-yes. Ok uh… Gi-give me a moment..” Misako excused herself and quickly ran to her room and called Garmadon’s number. She left Lloyd at the lounge room because she doesn’t know what to tell him at all. She bit her lip hoping he picks up..
‘Hello?’ Garmadon picked up and she felt a wave of relief and told Garmadon everything in a fast tone and a bit of panicking with it. She heard him chuckled at her, Misako rolls her eyes at Garmadon’s chuckling.
‘The age for him to have feelings for anyone is around the age of 16 yes, but it’s more 18 years older to find a true mate. But for myself I only found one mate and that was you Misako. I never had any feelings for anyone else but you. I used to have female friends but I never found them romantically until I met you.’ Misako took note about finding a mate at the age of 18 Years old and then dropped her pen when he mentioned that he never found someone to be his mate until he met her. Her heart was flattered.
‘If you wish, I don’t mind stopping by to give him a brief about this?’ Garmadon asked Misako, she was still shocked at the last thing he said about his part but then thought about his request. It has been a while since Lloyd spent time with his father so I guess this is a good way to start?
“That will be lovely. Just message me or Lloyd when you are here and then we can open the gate for the residence parking. Please try to be here in 20 minutes…” Misako added the last part before they ended the call and she sat down on her bed. She knew eventually that Lloyd would ask her such things but she only knew little, like heat cycles, and marking. But the thing with the marking was that, the mark that Garmadon gave to Misako she doesn’t know that whenever she touches the mark or even rub/ massage it, it gives a slight of pleasure to Garmadon.
Misako laid back on her bed and stares at the ceiling, after a couple of minutes she exited her room and saw Lloyd watching TV. She took a deep breath and walked over to the couch and sat next to him. She fiddled with her hands and then told Lloyd about the last 15 minutes. Lloyd was shocked that his mum invited dad over because he thought she knew about it but he guessed that it was a thing for the boys to discuss.
20 minutes went by and Misako saw a message from Garmadon saying he’s here. She stood up from the couch and grabbed a coat because it’s a bit cold tonight.
“I’ll be right back” Lloyd gave her a thumbs up and she closed the door behind her, as she was in the elevator down she had many thoughts running though her mind. She shakes her head and tries to relax her mind and exited the elevator and left the building. Misako went to the metal gates and took her keycard out and tapped on it, the gate slowly opened and she saw a black Subaru with dragon symbols on both sides of the car.
‘Nice car’ She thought to herself and saw Garmadon parking near the entrance of the door and stepping right out. Garmadon saw Misako and waved at her, she quickly turned her head to see if the gate is closed and it was, so she walked towards him.
“Thanks for coming so fast, I didn’t think that I would explain well to Lloyd well.” Both Misako and Garmadon walking together side by side and she quickly bowed her head as thanks for coming agian.
“It’s ok. It was bound to happen.” Misako nodded her head and once they reached the lobby they were waiting on the lift. As always there was an awkard silent period between the two, Gamradon looking at Misako while she was trying to avoid eye contact.
They got in the elevator and silence met them again. After for so long, Garmadon thought he knew what he was doing but he always surpsies himself. With Misako she has a clear mindset because her head was full of thoughts, she will have to admit that Garmadon looks attractive when he’s in casual clothes but then having the image of him wearing a suit just makes her face red.

Lloyd heard the door unlocking itself and saw his mum rushing to her bedroom while his dad was at the door. Lloyd was so confused, but he was so happy to see his father again so he gave him a big hug. Garmadon hugs his son back with a big smile on his face.
“DAD! I’m so happy you’re here!” He sinks his head in his dad’s shirt and looks up with a big smile on his face too. He closed one eye as his dad also ruffled his hair and they both went back to the couch talking about ‘boy things’ and catching up.
With Misako, she was looking at the mirror with her face being all red. She looks at herself, she looks like a complete mess, she looks like she was having a hard core make out session with Garmadon but she quickly turns the shower on hoping that’ll go by.
Back with the boys, they were having a good conversation about things that Lloyd will have to go through, Garmadon also mentions about how he can like isolate himself from other people like his friends. The cycle will last for an entire week to two weeks depending on how bad it can get. Lloyd took notes on this in his notebook and asked few questions like, ‘bite marks’ and ‘claiming a true mate’.
“Bite marks is like giving out hickeys to your partner, so that’s completely different to a ‘mate mark’. Lloyd nods his head, he puts his pen down and looks at his notes.
“How about claiming a true mate?” he asked, Garmadon looked at Lloyd thinking if he’s old enough to know but yet again boys his age would do anything.
“To keep it child-friendly for your sake and I know you don’t like it that way but it’s basically when two mates mark each other on each other’s shoulders, the dragon/oni or any creature who is in season. They will leave a scar on their mates mark applying that the mate is taken.” Lloyd pouted at the first sentence but as he listens to his dad talking about it, he understood it. Kind of. Lloyd started to remember that some men tries to ask his mum out but I guess they had the feeling she was taken. He laughed at the memory.
“What’s so funny son?” Garamdon looks at his son with a confused look. Lloyd looks at his dad with a silly smile.
“Oh nothing just remembering that guys used to stare at mum a lot but they never come by, so I have a feeling that the mark you gave to mum kept them away” Lloyd pointed that out and he continued to laugh, Garmadon couldn’t stop himself but smirk at the idea. As the boys were talking Misako came out of her room in her night gown, Garmadon couldn’t but glanced over at her.
Misako as wearing a light green gown, both of her sleeves were short but sort of see-through. Garmadon couldn’t stop himself but to stare for a bit and then looks away to face Lloyd as he was still laughing.
Misako didn’t notice his glance but was on her way to the kitchen to prepare a small dinner for the three of them. Chicken noodle soup. As she was making soup for the boys and herself, she couldn’t stop herself from smiling at the two boys bounding.
“Alright boys dinners ready” Misako looks at the lounge room where both Lloyd and Garmadon was watching TV. The two boys turned their heads, looked back at each other and grinned at each other and then dashed to the kitchen counter. They sat on the chairs waiting for Misako to take a seat.
“Children I swear” Misako commented and softly giggled and sat down with them. Shortly after they all ate together.
‘This isn’t so bad after all.’ Misako smiled to herself as she glanced over to Lloyd and Garmadon. She knows that everything will be alright again.

Chapter Text
As the night progressed, Lloyd and Garmadon was having their boys conversation while Misako was reading a book on the kitchen counter. She glanced over at the clock and it was around 10pm, then she bookmarked where she was up to and walked over to the boys.
Garmadon sensed that Misako was nearby, turned around, and greeted her with a smile. She smiled back. Lloyd was getting the aurora sense that his father was talking to him and sensed that his parents were happy to see each other, he smiles to himself because he has a strong feeling everything will change.
Misako leaned on the couch and tilted her head towards Garmadon. She’s trying to figure out what to say to Garmadon because she knows that Garmadon has to go to work tomorrow and has a meeting with Pythor because she overheard Lloyd and Garmadon’s conversation and Garmadon told Lloyd that he’s having a meeting with him about opening the third floor of the museum.
Misako takes a deep breath and makes eye contact with Garmadon. As she was about to speak, Lloyd interrupted her. “Dad, you should definitely have a sleepover!” Lloyd grins, the parents break the eye contact and both looked at Lloyd.
“If mum allows… That is..” Lloyd looks down at his lap.
Misako softly smiles and ruffles Lloyd’s hair, “If your father wants to, he’s more the merrier.” Lloyd faced his mum with sparkles in his eyes.
“Really?!” Lloyd said it with excitement in his tone. Misako looks at Garmadon, he was having a good moment to think about it and nods his head.
“I don’t have the meeting until 2pm. So I don’t mind staying over and possibly drop you to school kiddo” Garmadon smiles at Lloyd, Lloyd was over the moon that his father is staying with them for a night and he was too excited, he ran to his room to get ready for bed. When Lloyd left the room, Garmadon and Misako doesn’t know what else to say to each other.
“Garmadon.” Misako sat down next to Garmadon but not too close because there was a small distance between them, she was trying to figure out words to say to him. “Since the meeting, I said to you that I am open to start over again, I’ve been thinking and I don’t want to rush things too fast because I only returned to Ninjago City last month…” She bit her lip, “Would you like to start coming over whenever you are free and start having family time with me and Lloyd..?”
Garmadon was shocked at the news. He knows that she doesn’t fully trust him but if she’s willing to start over by inviting and allowing him to come over to have a family bonding time, he’ll be gladly to come by. “I would love that. I know you don’t fully trust me but I’ll be happy to come to spend time with you and Lloyd” Garamdon turned his head to face Misako who was biting on her nails, and grabbed her hand softly, he smiled at her.
The two adults continued to have a small chat until Lloyd came out of his room and swung his body to his parents and hugged them. The adults laughed at their child. They all watched a film together and then they all fell asleep in each others arms.

Garmadon suddenly woke up and looks around the dark empty place, not long ago he was with Lloyd and Misako but now they are no longer there. He roamed around the dark room until he stumbled across Lloyd’s room, he opens it and entered the room. The room he entered was not Lloyd’s room but his and Misako’s room. He realised that he was in his bedroom when Misako walked out of the bathroom wearing a long dark purple dress with silver accessories around her waist and her left arm. Misako didn’t saw Garmadon standing at the door and once she looked around the room and saw Garmadon, she walked over to him and kissed his cheek.
“Gram-honey, did you forget it’s our 2 year anniversary and you’re not wearing that are you?” Misako giggled at Garmadon and Garmadon looked down at himself and he was wearing the causal clothes that he was just with Misako and Lloyd on the couch. He touched his cheek where she kissed him and couldn’t stop staring at her.
Garmadon shakes his head and tries to pinch himself and it was in fact his dreaming but dreaming an old memory that played a lot in his dreams. He doesn’t complain about it because he cherishes all of his dreams especially when they have Lloyd or Misako in them. Garmadon quickly went to the shower to get ready and when he got out he saw Misako twerling in her dress he couldn’t help himself but to pick her up and sping the pair around. Misako squealed and grabbed Garmadon’s neck tightly.
“Garmadon!!” Misako squealed his name in a high-pitch tone and closes her eyes as Gamradon both spun the two around. He eventually stops and brought her back to her feet, Misako couldn’t help herself but to smile at Garmadon and placed her hand on his cheek. Garmadon leaned into the touch, he misses her touch, her love, her everything.

Garmadon took Misako to a new restaurant called ‘Chen’s noodles’, as they waited to be seated, Garmadon saw his best friend Clouse with a client he sees monthly. He was surprised to see them here but was happy enough that they knew each other and possibly they might be on a date. Garmadon couldn’t get his attention but once Misako and himself sat down, they looked at the options in the drinks section and a waitress came by, serving them water and asking them for any drinks to start off with. Misako ordered Sake (Rice wine) for herself and Garamdon to share and the waitress bowed and walked over to the bar to get their drinks ready.
The night went by very well, Garmadon ordered Egg roll and Fried rice and Misako ordered Three ingredient sizzling rice with Fortune cookies on the side. The pair was discussing their work life, Misako was still an apprentice trying to help her team with the research on the Great Devourer and the Stone armies. So far they found the statues of the soldiers but they are trying their best to find old scrolls about the soldiers. As Misako was talking about her job, Garmadon couldn’t stop himself from staring at her with loving eyes. Misako noticed that Garmadon was silent and she saw him staring at her, she read his eyes and she smiles at him. Garmadon has love in his eyes and Misako noticed them, she brings his hand to her lips and kisses it.
“Garmadon, I’m so happy that I’ve met you. You make me the happiest woman alive” Misako keeps his hand on her lips. He can feel a smile on her face. Garmadon wouldn’t change anything at all because he’s so deeply in love with Misako, he was finally happy with someone
“You’ve inspired me to become who I am today.”

Garmadon and Misako walking down the quiet streets of Ninjago City hand in hand, they have decided to walk for a while before heading home together. They bumped into Maya and Ray who was sitting on the grass at the park. They greeted them and stopped by to have a small chat with them. The girls were talking about girl stuff while the boys were being boys.
“So Misako…” there was a tone that Misako didn’t up, and Maya gave her a smirk.
“When are you going to let Garmadon ‘claim you’” Maya grinned, Misako choked on the water that Maya gave to her and coughs. The two boys looks back at the girls with confusion on ther faces and a bit off worry in Garmadons.
“Don’t worry Garmadon and Sweetie! The water went up the wrong pipe” Maya smiled innocently and the boys turned their heads again. Once Misako got the water out, she quickly shot a glare at Maya.
“What are you talking about.” Misako said in a harsh whisper tone.
“You don’t know?” Misako gave her a look, “Oh Misako, Misako. Did you ever know that Garmadona is Half Dragon and Half Oni?” Maya looks over to her friend.
“I know about the Dragon and Oni part but what do you mean by ‘claim’.” Maya shakes her head, she looks over at the boys who were having their ‘boys talk’ and moved closer to Misako.
“At some point, Garmadon will claim you as his true mate” Maya whispered in Misako’s ear and Misako fell back and hugged her body in embarrassment. Maya laughed at her friend, she knew that Misako would be embarrassed. Maya patted Misako’s back and Misako covered her face because it was truly red.
With the boys before they saw Misako curled like a ball with Maya comforting her, the boys were discussing the same topic but very differently. Ray nudged Garmadon’s shoulders telling him he should do it because it’s nearly in season for him and he’s gotta claim Misako before any other guys would.
“Ray, I know what has to be done but do you think Misako is ready?” Garmadon glanced over to his friend and Ray nodded his head as a yes.
“I think she’s ready, I mean I heard enough girls talk from my fiance there talking about bedroom details and like it seems enough you and Misako are ready to settle down and for you bro to mark her.” Ray grinned at Garmadon, the two boys kept on talking about the cycles and also being the best man for Ray and Maya’s wedding that is happening in 3 months time.

Garmadon opened the door for Misako to walk in and they both took their shoes off and Misako went to the bathroom first to get ready for bed, while Garmadon was at the kitchen thinking about the conversation that he had with Ray. Garmadon looks at the time and it was nearly 1am, he’s thinking to go to Misako and talk to her about it but he knows that she was exhausted from today and she needs her rest.
“I’ll tell her tomorrow” Garmadon told himself as he took his coat off and place it in the coat hanger.

Garmadon was panicking it’s Spring and HE still hasn’t told Misako anything about his cycle and settling down. He bits his nails because he was very anxious about the situation, as he is thinking of many scenarios on his way home. He has an idea and will talk to Misako about it and hopefully she understands it because Garmadon will have to shut himself in the guest bedroom to hibernate so that after a week everything will be fine.
Eventually he got home, he parked his car and got out. When he got inside the lights were off which was odd because whenever he comes back from work he always sees Misako writing in her journal on top of the kitchen counter. Garmadon continues looking around for Misako on the first floor of their home that they brought together.
Misako stares at herself in the mirror. She wants to strangle both Maya and Edna for dragging her to the lingerie shop. She is wearing a dark purple lingerie that only covered her chest and her private area. The pattern on the lingerie has flowers that was half see-through and half covered. She doesn’t know why they want to help her so badly, is she that bad of a partner? Misako thinks to herself and then hears the front door opened, she starts to panic because she knows that Garmadon will freak the hell out if he sees her like this. Before she went to the bathroom to lock herself there, the door of the bedroom opened. She completely froze and slowly turns to face Garmadon at the door, eyes opened and a look she couldn’t recognise.
”L-look Garmadon, sweetie. This is not what it looks like, I got dragged into the lingerie shop and and I thought to myself to see myself in it when I got home. I thought you won’t be home for an hour.” Luckily she got Garmadon’s large shirt and wore over it. Misako looks over to Garmadon because he hasn’t said a word to her at all. She slowly walks over to him and touches his arms.
”Garmadon, honey..?” Before anything Garmadon swooped her off her feet and closed the bedroom door behind them.

I'M SORRY FOR THE DELAY I'M TRULY SORRY! I OVERSLEPT AND HAD THINGS GOING ON AND I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DO THIS ON TIME, I'M SO SORRY AGAIN.. I'm just trying to deal with personal issues right now but I'm doing ok! The other reason why it's also took a bit is because writing sexy things is hella hard. I'm 19 and like this is my first time writing things like this so I'm so sorry if it's not as good but I have tried my best and read some other resources to make me understand and how to format it.

Chapter Text
The bedroom atmosphere started to become more cold all around them. Misako looks up at Garmadon, there was something in his eyes that she could make out but couldn’t at the same time. Garmadon carried her to their bedroom, laid her down and stares down at her. In Garmadon’s eyes, he really wants to take the lingerie off Miskao because she looks so sexy and adorable wearing it. But before he could take her as his mate, and turned into his Oni form.
Standing before her she saw Garmadon turning into a demon of some sort. She’s guessing this is what Garmadon looks like in his Oni form or dragon form? Misako studied Garmadon’s form, his skin turned black, there are two pairs of horns and at the very top of the horns, there are white shades that combined with the black. his eyes turned purple and she thinks the eyes are glowing? Before she looks all the way down, aside of the beautiful violet eyes that is staring into her eyes. There are white markings on his face, never in her life she has this experience. Especially when it’s the love of your life. She can see two pairs of wings, they look like bat wings but more bigger and has 3 horns. If she remembers correctly those are fingers on the wings so Garmadon has 4 fingers, 3 at the bottom and one at the top but thats called a thumb. As Misako continues to look she stumbled across that Garmadon has 4 arms! She shakes her head to double check if she’s seeing what she is actually seeing and she was right, Garmadon has 4 arms. At the very end he has a tail, there are a few spikes on them but not that sharp enough to hurt her.
Misako stands up and cups his cheek. “I never seen something so beautiful.” There was a gentle tone in her voice as she stroked his cheeks. Suddenly she felt his strong arms wrapping around her waist, there was his first pair of arms hugging her chest, not too tightly and the second pair was beneath the first pair. Misako glanced up and saw Garmadons glowing eyes, she could tell that he was scared that she would never accept his other self.
“You are not ashamed…?” Garmadon asked Misako with sadness in his tone, he saw her smile at him and tippy-toed to kiss him on the lips. Misako pulls back from their lips intertwined, and shakes her head ‘no’.
“Why would I be ashamed? You look beautiful in or without your Oni or Dragon form. I never would ever think to see an Oni or Dragon form ever. But you, I still see the same Garmadon that I loved in there” Misako smiled at Garmadon with a sweet tone with a little of reassurance. She looks up to Garmadon’s face and what she sees is still fear in his eyes but she can also see happiness in them.
“If I may, may I touch your horns and possibly wings?” Misako leaned her head on Garmadon’s chest feeling his heart beat and breathing. Garmadon looks down and uses one of his arms to pet her hair. He heard her softly groan because she loves affection from Garmadon.
“Yes. But before anything can I ask and tell you something?” Garmadon felt her head nodding up and down, he took a small deep breath. Garmadon slowly picked her up with his second pair of arms and his first set of arms around her waist so that she wouldn't fall. He looks at her. “Would you like to be my mate for life…?”
Misako’s eyes widened, she researched more about the mate stuff. According to her resources, the creature who is in the cycle or found their mate for life. The site also said that to become the ‘mate for life’ for the creature, they have to know each other for a bit, if they are together after a brief period the creature will ask for consent to mark their mates and from there they will have their ‘mate bounding’. She was deep in thought, as she was thinking she felt that she was placed on the bed. Misako looked up and saw Garmadon with a sad expression. She panicked and wrapped her arms around his waist, barring her head on his back.
“Sorry, Garm. I was thinking for a moment but I would love to be your mate for life.” Misako tries her best to move Garmadon’s body to face her and luckily Garmadon moves his body to face her.
“Really…?” Garmadon looks down where Misako’s head is resting on his chest. He can feel her nodding her head and he smiles.
“Yes, I really mean it” they both stared into each other eyes and smiles. Garmadon softly tackles Misako onto the bed, both of his arms and tail slowly wrapped around her. Garmadon began to softly kisses her on the cheek, he heard Misako giggling as he rapidly giving her kisses.
After a brief moment of Garmadon planting kisses all over her, he gently lays his face near her neck. He softly smells her, and hell he would love to smell the sweet essence of strawberry blossoms for the rest of his life. He softly groans as he smells her. Garmadon knows that Misako allows him to kiss her everywhere but he’s the type of person who would always ask for permission and if she says no that’s completely fine. Garmadon moved away from her neck and laid on her chest and tilts his head.
“Misako, may I give you love bites? And soonly after may I get ‘into it’?” Garmadon asked her, Misako looks down to Garmadon and nods her head ‘yes’ to allow him to go forward. Garmadon kisses her chest and brings himself back to her neck and kisses her neck. As Garmadon kisses Misako’s neck, Misako on the other hand, roams her hands around Garmadon’s waist and slowly stops near his pants. Garmadon left the bathroom to fix the issue and he saw a silhouette of someone sitting up on the couch. He cursed at himself that he woke up Misako but went back to the couch to greet her. When he got back, he can tell Misako was still tired. "Why are you up Misako?" Garmadon whispered and sat back down, Misako gently turns her head to face him.
"You woke me up. I thought you were going to leave us, but then heard the bathroom fan on." Garmadon can tell she was still tired but there was a gimp of sadness in it. He hopes that what he's doing next is fine with Misako, so he softly grabs her shoulders and allowing her to fall on his lap again.
"I just needed the bathroom. Sorry to wake you" he heard a soft hum in acknowledgement and brought the big blanket around them and Lloyd. Lloyd was still sleeping, and when Garmadon brought the big blanket around him and Misako, he did the same by bringing Lloyd closer so that he doesn't get cold at all.
"Garm... I really missed you. I regret of divorcing you." Garmadon couldn't hear what he was hearing, in the back of his mind she was probably tired and not thinking well because it's 3am. And usually around that time, people don't think straight when they are woken up at that time. But just to be sure he asked her.
"Really?" He asked and within the next couple of minutes, there was silence. He chuckled at himself, she was tired. But he had a smile on his face because now he knows that Misako is slowly trusting him again.

Thursday morning comes around, Lloyd wakes up first and reaches his phone, looking at the time. It was 6:45am. It was strange for Lloyd to wake up so early, especially on school days. He groans as he sat up and was very confused why he was in the lounge room. Lloyd felt a movement on his right and when he turned his head it was Lloyd’s parents sleeping peacefully. Lloyd formed a smirk on his face and slowly moved away from them, standing up slowly as well. Lloyd saw his dad move a bit and placed his arms around her body. He grinned and then proceeded to take a photo of the sleeping couple, luckily for him it wasn’t too dark because the sun rises around 6:30am. Lloyd can not wait to tease his parents about the photo because it was too sweet and adorable to take a photo of his father cuddling his mother in his arms while having the blanket around them.
‘Oh this’ll be good to show in the future’ Lloyd softly chuckles to himself, then proceeds to leave to his room to get ready for school and figuring out what to do with the photo he just took.
Soonly after Lloyd went to his room, Misako wakes up and yawns. When Misako was slowly waking up she realised that she was on Garmadon’s lap, also feeling his arms around her. Realising everything she made a small squeak, trying to figure out how to get out of the position because she gotta get breakfast ready and also get Lloyd to school. So many scenarios ran through her head, suddenly she heard a sleepy groan coming from Garmadon and as she looks up, she sees Garmadon’s eyes looking around and then looks down to his lap to see Misako staring at him. There was a brief moment when they stared into each other's eyes and then Misako turning all red, falling onto the floor. Misako quickly stood up and walked towards the kitchen.
“Pfft haha, are you ok Misako?” Garmadon laughed at her when she fell on the floor and turned his body to face her in the kitchen. Misako was standing and was barring her face with her hands. Gramadon thought to himself, the way Misako is acting is very cute.
“Good morning to you too, Misako” Garmadon finished laughing and smiles at her behaviour. Misako looks back at Garmadon, saying good morning back to him and then turns her focus on breakfast. Garmadon softly grins to himself and then looks at his phone. He saw that Pythor messaged him about the meeting today and was thrilled that the third floor looks good so far, he also pointed out that Garmadon should talk to his ex-wife about the Fangbaldes she has in her possession. He agrees to it so he got off the couch and walked over to the kitchen. Once he sat down on the chair, Misako’s back was facing him and to take a big guess what Misako was making. She was making 2 sets of waffles on 3 plates. If he’s being honest he truly misses her cooking, the feeling and the taste of eating the food again brings back so many memories. There was silence in the room until Lloyd came out of his room and greeted his parents.
“Good morning Mum and Dad, did you guys sleep well?” Lloyd asked them in a cheery voice and have a grin on his face. Misako turns her body with two plates in her hands, she walks over to the counter and places the two plates in front of the boys.
“Eat up boys, and also Lloyd your father will be taking you to school today. Is that fine?” The boys started to eat their food, Lloyd had maple syrup on his waffles while Garmadon had whipped cream with a little bit of a mixture of blueberries and raspberries.
“Yeah that’s fine with me” Lloyd said as he was talking with his mouth full. Misako quickly gave Lloyd a glare and then he apologised, finishing his food. The family of three were peacefully eating the food that Misako made, Misako has a small chat with Garmadon about the Fangblades and she is happy enough to give the artefact to him and Pythor because she only found it during her times digging ancient artefacts and found one of the blades.
Misako finished her food first and got up from the table, “Before you leave, let me grab it and you can take it when you drop Lloyd off at school, Garmadon.” As she left the table and went to her room to grab the artefact which was in a glass case that has a lock around it.
With the boys, Garmadon finished his food and helped out cleaning the dishes so that Misako doesn’t have to clean up after them. So he helped her out. When Garmadon was cleaning the dishes, Lloyd was on his phone scrolling through Scrollbook (Facebook) and stumbled across an old picture of Garmadon in his Oni form. Lloyd looks up to look at his father, he doesn’t have 4 arms, 2 sets of wings, horns and a tail. Not to be rude to other races as well, his dad doesn’t have dark skin. His dad is pale, not completely pale but he has a bit of tan.
“Dad? Why do you look different in this photo?” Lloyd asked his father, by showing a photo of him next to Misako and Wu.
Garmadon dried his hands with the tablecloth, turning his attention to Lloyd and looks at the phone. He takes the phone and looks at it very closely. “Oh that’s me, it’s the Oni form.” Garmadon gave back Lloyd’s phone as he told him about the appearance.
“So what I’m getting at is that, at a certain age we can transform into that!?” Lloyd said with excitement in his voice, Garmadon smiles at his son and nodded his head ‘yes’.
“Can you show me…?” Lloyd looks at his dad with puppy eyes wanting to see his dad's cool form.
Garmadon looks over at the time, 7:50am. Garmadon hears the door open from Misako’s room and then turns his attention to his son with a pleading look. He sighs in defeat because he can’t handle puppy dog eyes. ‘God damnit.’
Lloyd steps back a little, then he sees a purple aurora surrounding his father, and suddenly Lloyd sees two horns growing out of his dad’s hair, two wings popped, another set of arms crossed each other and then the tail coming out from behind. Lloyd was so shocked, he never knew that his own dad was so much cooler then some Anime characters in their demon forms.
“Son…?” Garmadon took a glimpse of his son's reaction and it was very similar to his mother's when she first saw it. Suddenly he saw Lloyd hugs him.
“This looks amazing father! Why do you only show it now? Is there a pacific time for this to be seen?” Lloyd looks up to his dad, he must say his dad is bloody tall. Like Lloyd is guessing 7, 5 foot? He must be exaggerating but he’s taking his guesses.
As the two boys were casually hugging things out, Misako exited her room seeing the transformation and couldn’t help herself but to smile. It has been a while since she has seen the Oni form, and walked over to the boys. Misako accidentally stepped on Garmadon’s tail and he was very alarmed, turning his direction to his tail where he saw Misako with the Fangblades in a glass case.
“Sorry, Garmadon” Misako quickly apologised. Garmadon forgave her and Misako gave him the case. Before they left the building, Misako made bento boxes for the two, one for Garmadon and one for Lloyd. She gave them a hug and kisses Lloyd on the head, waving them goodbye.
While waiting on the elevator, Lloyd looks over to his dad who was on his phone, probably checking emails. “Sooh Dad.” They both entered the elevator, Lloyd looks over at his father.
Garmadon gave a hum in response, but didn’t give him a look because he was reading an important email.
“Are you jealous that Mum gave me a kiss and not you” Lloyd gave his dad a teasing smirk, he saw his dad twitch a little but tried to act professional around his son.
“She gives me kisses every day when she drops me to school and every now and then she kisses me goodnight” Lloyd softly chuckled as he saw his father put away his phone in his pocket and gave him a side stare.
Garmadon cleared his throat, “Of course not Lloyd.” He told Lloyd with a bit of jealousy in his tone, and they both walked out of the elevator and then the building. Once they got to the car, Garmadon turned on the engine and reverse drove out of the parking bay, then headed towards the gates. They automatically opened by the guards on site, and quickly turn right when it’s safe.
On the ride to Lloyd’s high school, Lloyd strikes a conversation with his father about finding a job for the remainder of high school to buy things he wants and wants to help out Misako a lot. Garmadon gave him some places like his food court is hiring people, there are also some flyers in shopping malls that are looking for people so Lloyd can make a resume with his teachers or Garmadon can show him how to make one.
Lloyd got out of the car and before he left the school parking lot, Lloyd turns his directions to his father. “Hey Dad, do you want a small gift from me?” Lloyd smiles innocently, Garmadon looks at Lloyd. Before he could respond, he double checked that he was in park position.
“Sure, what's the gift?” Garmadon responded, Lloyd took his phone out and sent his dad the photo from this morning. Before Garmadon checked his phone, Lloyd gave his dad through the window and left the parking lot. When Lloyd left he checked his phone because he saw Lloyd pilled his phone out and sent him something, so he clicked on the message and saw the picture.
Garmadon looked at his phone, it was a photo of him wrapping his own arms around Misako. He looked over at Misako’s face if she felt any uncomfortable at all, and it seemed there was a smile on her face. Garmadon actually likes the gift, so he saves it and quickly sends Lloyd a thank you message.

“Ssso, thiss is what the third floor looksss like..” Pythor slithers around the floor, looking at the structures of the Great Devourer and saw the 4 fang blades right next to the statue, 2 on each side.
“Very immprrressivee… I mussst say, thiss is pretty good.” Pythor continued to look around and then stops near the paintings of the Serpentine War. “I ssaw the Venomari Fangbalde from your ex mistresss.” Pythor faced Garmadon with his two arms behind his back.
“You missss her, I can ssmell her on you Garmadon.” Pythor shot him a playful smirk and then proceeds to look around one last time. After Pythor looks around, he gave Garmadon the permission to open the third floor with some assistance from the Serpentine people, and Garmadon agreed to it.
When Garmadon reached his floor, greeting some of his employees and he entered his room. He was still looking at the photo that Lloyd sent to him, he couldn’t smile at the picture because he can keep it and cherish it. Once he was on his computer, he was thinking about Saturday. Misako invited him to come over again to their palace to do a small get together, he’s thinking it’s about getting the job so she wants to celebrate it. But he was also thinking, wouldn’t it be weird if your boss who is an ex-husband being there?
His work phone vibrated and he saw who was the caller, it was Wu. He picked up the phone. Garmadon heard Wu spoke over the phone, “Hello Garmadon?” Wu spoke.
“Hello, why did you call me?” Garmadon asked his brother as he was skimming through his emails and then looking at the photo again.
“Has Misako invited you this Saturday?” Wu asked over the phone, waiting for his brother to respond.
“Yeah, I’m coming along” Garmadon responded, he heard a small gasp over the phone. Was it that surprising?
“That’s great news! That means you’ll be able to meet Morro again, how thrilling is that?” Wu spoke with a happy tone that Garmadon can tell imminently.
Over the next hour, the two brothers were having a small conversation about their lives, and some events that’s happening in the next coming months. Wu told Garmadon that Morro is planning to go to the expedition to meet his favourite voice actors and maybe taking photos with new people in the current Anime fandom he likes, Jojo Bizarre Adventures. For Garmadon’s side, he was telling Wu that he can’t wait to work with Misako and Clutch Powers. He knows that they are both in the same department but he knows for a fact that they are good at working together. Hopefully. The call shortly ended and Garmadon was bored out of his mind.
“Ugh.. What to do…” Garmadon grumbled as he was scrolling through Videotube (Youtube), then he remembered that Misako made him and Lloyd lunch so he took out the food and can not wait to eat her food again. As he was eating the food Misako made for him, he was in heaven because he misses everything. He misses, Misako, Lloyd, having time with them, creating memories and so much more. Garmadon decided to play back some old photos and videos he saved on his computer and proceeded to look and watch through all of them.

Thursday night came around, Garmadon entered his home alone. He took his clock off, then placed his keys on the kitchen counter. Garmadon looks around the house, he wants to say he got used to the feeling but after spending the night with Misako and Lloyd but he wouldn’t be the same. In the next couple of minutes, he was in the kitchen making a small dinner for himself. What Garmadon made was beef Gyoza with a bowl of steamed rice. He takes a look of it and himself. He really is lonely, even after a decade he accepted that he’ll be alone forever. He couldn’t find another woman because he was still deeply in love with Misako.
An hour and a half has passed, and Garmadon decided to clean out the old master bedroom that he shared with Misako. He was cleaning the room out because of the evidence he saw so he might turn it into a storage unit. When he was cleaning the room, he has stumbled across old wedding photos. Garmadon stopped his tracks and sat down on the bed. Garmadon was now holding the wedding photo of him and Misako’s big day. Garmadon forgot that he has placed the wedding photo in this room, but he couldn’t stop staring at the beautiful wedding dress Misako was wearing. Goodness, she was so beautiful, Garmadon would die to see her again in the dress again and her dancing in his arms.

“You look gorgeous Misako!” Maya squealed in excitement as she entered the room where all the bridesmaids were getting ready. Misako looked through the mirror's reflection where Maya was closing the door behind her and Misako can see little sparkles in her eyes.
“Is this a bit too much? The white floral hairpiece on each side and then a long vale coming down from my braided bun?” Misako looked at Maya in the mirror's reflection, Maya walked over and asked Edna for her to finish putting the last accessory on Misako’s hair.
“Misako you are the first girl out of all of us getting married! You know most of the time brides gotta wear hair accessories that suits the dress well.” Before Maya put the last accessory on Misako’s hair, she quickly looked in the mirror and then moved some of Misako’s hair away from her face. Moments later Maya finished her part and was smiling at her masterpiece.
“Looking beautiful as ever Misako” Maya looks at Misako’s reflection in the mirror and some of the bridesmaids all gasp in awe. Edna nearly formed a tear because of how beautiful Misako is.
“And you know, outshine all of us bridesmaids!” Maya had the biggest smile on her face then all of the girls besides Misako, giggled.
There was a knock on the door and a male voice asking if everyone is ready. All the bridesmaids were ready and they all exited the room, and standing at the door was Neuro. After Misako’s parents died when she was only 12 years old, Neuro took her in as his own and raised her as his daughter. Neuro’s face looks like he was going to cry because of Misako is getting married, and he’s taking her down the aisle.
“I wish you’re family was here because I know they will be so proud of you and will do the same thing as me and your father taking you down the aisle.” Neuro had a happy sad smile on his face when he mentioned her parents. Misako walked over to Neuro and hugged him.
“I wish so as well but I’m also glad you’re here with me. They’ll be proud of both of us” Misako continued hugging Neuro, and then both waited for the wedding music to start. They had a small chat and then left the room once the music played…
Garmadon was super nervous about seeing Misako for the first time. It’s been nearly 2 weeks he has seen her. In every wedding, both the Groom and the Bride has to be away from each other for some time for the Bachelor party with just the boys doing guy things and the Bachelorette party with the girlies doing girl things.
When the wedding music started to play Garmadon looked over at the Church’s doors and they slowly opened and there he sees, Misako and Neuro walking down the aisle. He didn’t know whether to cry or run over to her but in weddings, the Bride’s father figure or guardian take them down the aisle and hands them over to their husband.
“You look beautiful, Mrs. Garmadon” Garmadon couldn’t stop himself from teasing her a little, Misako playfully nudged him and when she faced him, she saw love in his eyes. As the wedding comends, the priest started the ceremony by greeting the holy lord and at the very end of it everyone says, ‘ And with your Spirit’. From there onwards the Priest started to read firstly off from the Old Testament, Second reading from the book of the New Testament, and Third reading from the Gospel.
The ceremony went smoothly well, Church bells rang the newlywed couple as they walked out of the Church side by side. Outside there was a small party where everyone was involved with the wedding planning and who was invited, both of the Bridesmaids and the Bride herself was all giggling and talking to each other. Some bridemaids were jumping up and down in joy, and some were dancing with Misako. The Groom and the Groomsman were staring at there significant other in awe. Garmadon couldn’t stop watching Misako having fun with her girlies, he really wanst to kiss her again and twirl her in her beautiful dress. As the guys were watching their beloveds, they saw that Misako was going to throw the bunch of flowers in the air, throwing them backwards. Every guy eyes each other, giving each other smirking faces.
“I bet Ray is next, I can see Maya trying to catch the flowers. So my bet is on him” Ed said so confidently, nudging Ray with a devious smirk. Ray shot back a glare, so for the next couple of minutes the guys were fighting who’s next on the list.
“You girls ready?” Misako looks back to her bridesmaids and they all nodded their heads very quickly. Misako then turns her back to the girls and then throws the flowers behind her. She quickly turns her body to see who catches it…
Silence and then Edna jumps and catches the flowers. All the girls gathered around her, congratulating her. With the guys Ed was so shocked, his mouth was wide opened and the guys saw the girls coming to the group with big smiles on their faces.
“Sssooo… When’s the wedding Ed” Ray gave him a smirk, 2 other guys gave him a smirk as well and cheered the next wedding. With Misako and Garmadon, they were holding hands and watching their friends having fun. Misako placed her head on Garmadon’s shoulders and can smell the cologne, Bleu De Chanel he uses. It smells good on him. As the two separated from their friends, Garmadon took his hand out, asking for a dance. Misako saw the hand and happily took the hand, Garmadon grinned and spun her around. The couple slow danced and everyone watched them. The parent’s and Guardian of the couple danced with the Bride and Groom. Slowly everyone gathered around to dance with them, swapping partners in the process and everyone had a lovely night.

Garmadon was looking through the Wedding album and so many memories were coming back to him. There was a group photo of the Groom’s people, Wu was the Best Man and he was next to Garmadon, Ray, Ed, and other two men was in the photo smiling. The next page was the Bride and her Bridesmaids. The maid of Honour is Maya because she knew Misako when they were in High school and they kept a strong bond and both Misako and Maya loved the idea and promised each other that they would be the Maid of Honour to each other’s weddings. He continued to look through the album and there was many funny moments taken and was saved in the album to cherish forever.
“I wish I could relive that moment again.” Garmadon said to himself with a sad expression, standing up from the bed and walked out of the room to keep the album he found in his room.
Few hours passed and now it was midnight, Garmadon officially finished cleaning the room, moving everything that was important in his bedroom and from there he’ll start making that room a storage unit.
Before he went to bed, he saw a message from Lloyd saying ‘Goodnight Father’ with a heart emoji and a smile. There was an attachment and it was Misako and Lloyd smiling at the camera. Garmadon responded back to him, and had a smile on his face before he drifted to sleep.

Friday went by very quickly for everyone, everything went very smoothly and both Misako and Clutch Powers came in for their tour of the facility before they start on the 15th May due to the grand opening of the Serpentine Floor in the museum.
Saturday morning rolls around and Garmadon was getting ready to drive over to Misako and Lloyd’s place. He checks the time and it was 9:15am, everyone should have arrived around 10am but he really wanted to see both Misako and Lloyd again. Before he left he quickly grabbed the fruit dish he prepared on Friday afternoon, he stopped by the local supermarket buying Watermelons, Oranges, Pineapples, Grapes, and Peaches.
On the way to the apartment, Garmadon got lost in thought and was on autopilot the journey there. He was thinking about the Wedding album and early baby photos of Lloyd when he was born and a toddler. Garmadon had copied some of the baby photos of Lloyd and there was some that had Misako in them so he wanted to give the photos to both Misako and Lloyd.

”Mummm, are you ready? Cause Dad, the Smith family will be here soon! Cole, Jay, Pixel Zane, and their family will come around 10:30am.” Lloyd shouted through the door, on the other side was Misako wearing a simple floral dress that has short long sleeves only covering the top half of her shoulders. Misako was looking at herself through the mirror, she must say she looks lovely in the dress and it has been a while since she last wore a dress.
One more glance at herself in the mirror and then headed towards her door where she was greeted with a hug by Lloyd. “Yes, I’m ready. How do I look?” Misako asked Lloyd as she was brushing through his hair gently.
”You look gorgeous Mum!” Lloyd had a big smile on his face.
As they embraced each other, there was a knock on the door and both Misako and Lloyd walked towards the door together and Misako looked through the peephole. There stood Garmadon at the door, he was looking nervous but he was holding a dish. Misako happily opened the door and signalled him to walk in.
“I uh… I brought a refreshing fruit dish that everyone can enjoy for today.” Garmadon rubbed behind his neck and placed down the dish. Lloyd looked over at the counter and saw one of his favourite fruit which was Watermelons. He couldn’t stop himself by grabbing a few pieces of the sliced Watermelons.
”Lloyd.” Misako couldn’t stop herself from shaking her head and laughing at her son who was eating a Few pieces of the Watermelons. Garmadon was smiling at his son. He reached for something in his satchel and softly passed the photo album to the pair.
“What’s this?” Misako took the album and gave Garmadon a confused face.
“Two nights ago I cleared out our old room, don’t worry I didn’t throw anything away but just made that room a storage unit… I stumbled across some albums that I’ve kept so now I wanted you guys to keep it.” Garmadon smiled at them and had a strange tone of sadness when he spoke. When Misako opened it, a wave of déjà vu overflowing her head.
“Woah is that was me when I was little!??” Lloyd looked over his Mum’s shoulders and saw a baby photo of him and Morro next to each other. There was silence coming from Misako because she didn’t know what to say to Garmadon.
“Indeed you were kiddo” Garmadon smiled at Lloyd and saw that Misako was silent when he passed her the albums. He really really hopes he didn’t cross a boundary. Garmadon slightly walked backwards but that’s when Misako spoke.
”Th… Thank you.” Misako spoke very quietly, she began to look through the album which had Lloyd as a child with Misako holding him and smiling at the camera. Throughout looking at the album, there were some photos of herself and Garmadon together, there was some at the beach, birthday parties, date nights and silly moments together.
“No worries.. I hope I didn’t cross any boundaries.” Garmadon looks at Misako with a worried expression, he shortly after looks down. Lloyd saw and eyes both of his parents, he knows that his dad is hurt by the thought of mum being quiet and just going through the pages. Silence filled the room, both Garmadon and Lloyd was looking at each other because Misako still hadn’t said anything in the past 10 minutes, the silence broke as there was a knock on the door. At that moment Garmadon wanted to reach out to Misako’s hand but he didn’t.
“I’ll get it!” Lloyd quickly left his parents as they were still standing near the kitchen, just in pure silence. When Lloyd opened the door he was baraided with Nya tackling him to the ground. They both fell on the ground and Lloyd felt like he was .K.O. from Nya, Kai was leaning on the wall seeing his sister tackled Lloyd to the ground. He chuckled at the slight.
“Nya I’m pretty bloody sure you’re stronger then Lloyd. The poor kid banged his head on the carpet floor.” Kai told his sister, shaking his head. Kai lends a hand to Nya and Lloyd so that they can get off the floor and out of the doorway.
Lloyd groaned, rubbing back of his head. “Hey mum, Auntie Maya and Uncle Ray is here” Lloyd looked over where now Garmadon was hugging Misako. The Smith siblings looked over where Lloyd turned his head and they saw Garmadon hugging Misako. Nya squealed in awe and clapped her hands softly.
“I knew that she still loves him!!!” Nya had a the strongest feeling but only ranted this to Pixel and her mum a bit. Maya was questioning why her daughter was so excited as she entered through the door with her husband, Ray. Maya looked over and also saw the hugging pair.
“Sooo.. Misako, care to explain yourself?” Maya gave her a smirk as she closed the door behind her and raising an eyebrow.
Misako quickly realised that everyone was staring at them. She quickly stopped hugging Garmadon, even though she doesn’t want to and gave everyone an awkward smile. Both Nya and her mother Maya was giving her a smirk while the boys were giving each other looks because they didn’t know what to say.

“I didn’t know that this place has a pool place!” Lloyd was looking around the room. In the room there was pool tables and there was a door that leads to an actual pool room that you can swim in and have fun. Plus it has both indoor and outdoors! Lloyd continued to look at the place with a shocked expression and if you look closely you can see there are stars shining because how amazing it is.
”Nether did I. The other day when I came back from my orientation I explored a bit and entered this room which had amazing stuff! So I decided to come here to celebrate” Misako dropped some of the food plates she was carrying and placed them on the tables.
“Well kids, what do you want to do first?” Misako asked the kids, they huddled real quick to make a decision and after 5 minutes of talking to each other they all together agreed to do pool.
“Pool!” Both Jay and Lloyd said in excitement. A quick thumbs up from Cole and Kai liking the idea.
Some of the parents like, Ed, Misako, Ray and Lou was showing examples of how to play the game. Ed and Lou was on one team and Misako and Ray was on the other. As the two teams was showing a brief idea of how the game works, people were rooting on team Rock-lighter and some rooted on team Fyre-idea.
The two teams were having a tense match, team rock-lighter has a good head start while team Fyre-idea is behind. Kai, Lloyd and Jay was eating snacks that the parents brought, luckily Jay had teh idea to bring three package of popcorn one for entertainment and one for the sleepover. Everyone of the Ninja gang is having a sleepover so that means Misako is going to sleep on the couch, which she doesn’t mind at all.
Morro was observing the match, he was going to say that Ed and Lou will win because they have a strategy. Don’t get him wrong, his Aunt, Misako. She has an amazing talent when she does her history, she also knows how to plan things in advance so there’s a possibility that team Fyre-idea would win but he is betting on team Rock-lighter.
It was Misako’s turn, she walked around the table and then stopped where the white ball was. Misako leaned a bit forward and trying to calculate when hitting the white ball it doesn’t hit the stripped one. Why? if you hit the opposite ball then the other team has 2 shots so she’s not going to let that happen, she leaned in and then gently moved the stick. The white ball moved and it hit the full ball, she was quite happy with herself.
After a long game of pool team Rock-lighter won, just a ball away to win for team Fyre-idea. Shortly after the kids started to play the game as well, Nya picked on Cole, Kai and Pixel to be on her team and Zane picked on Jay, Morro and Lloyd.
The game started and the adults in the room were chatting amongst themselves, Maya, Misako and Edna was talking to each other. Maya brought up the whole ideal of Garmadon hugging Misako, Edna gave a suspicious look to her friend while Misako blushed at the thought.
“Sooo… Are you guys together again or you are still adjusting to trust him?” Maya crosses her arms together, smirking and then raising her eyebrows. Edna gave a look to Misako.
“If I’m honest with you girls…” Misako took a deep breath, and then glanced over to Garmadon who was talking to the husbands about… Business? She looks back, “You know what? I do trust him. After when I saw him not long ago, I feel like I’m open to start again.” Misak smiles at the thought when she woke up on his lap and I think she started to have feelings for him again.
Maya playfully punched Misako in the arm, Edna giggled.
“Oh Misako dear. I knew that you two might get back together eventually” Edna smiled at Misako, patting her back.
“Yeah… Eventually.” She smiles at the girls and then again glances over at Garmadon.
The rest of the afternoon the kids were playing pool while the adults were talking to each other. Wu and Lou was preparing tea for the adults, Pixel, and Ed and Ray was preparing cold drinks for everyone.

“Lloyd! Where are you kiddo!” Garmadon was yelling Lloyd’s name as he was walking around the second floor. He heavily sighed, “Where is that kid…” he continued to look for him everywhere, his bedroom, the bathroom, and when he was about to give up until he heard some noises in Lloyd’s room.
“Lloyd?” Garmadon approaches the door and then open the door to see baby Lloyd making a card for someone. Garmadon smiled and then walked up behind him, he sat down next to him. “What are you up too kiddo?”
Baby Lloyd looks up to his father, “I’vm mwaking ah cward for mama” Garmadon looks over to the card and saw a drawing of the family and a writing that says ‘Happy Mother’s day’ but Lloyd made some mistakes like spelling happy wrong, whcih was fine because he’s a baby learning how to write by himself.
“I think mummy will love this” Garmadon said to Lloyd and kissing his head. Baby Lloyd giggled and continue colouring the drawing of Garmadon with his crayons. After some time together, Garmadon helped out Lloyd to decorate the front page of the card and then when they have finished the card for Misako both Baby Lloyd and Garmadon went downstairs and saw Misako making dinner for the Mother’s Day hangout with al the families that were coming at 5pm.
They hid behind a corner, and then suddenly Garmadon has this interesting idea. “Do you want to jumpscare mummy?” Garmadon asked baby Lloyd, baby Lloyd looked up to his father and looked over to where his mother was making some snacks for the kids. Baby Lloyd looks back to his father and nods his head.
“Great” Garmadon grins.
Very slowly Garmadon holds Lloyd in his arms and tipey-toed towards Misako. Once they reached the kitchen and where Misako’s back was facing them, Garmadon was quickly looking what Misako was going and she was preparing a small dinner for everyone. Now this was the opportunity to strike and they did.
“Boo!” Both Garmadon and Baby Lloyd screamed and suddenly Misako got frightened, swinging her body with the knife in hand and was about to strike and saw Garmadon and baby Lloyd laughing at her with big smiles on their faces. Misako sighed in relief because she was thinking it was a stranger.
“You boys scared me to death.. Don’t do that again” Misako placed down the knife on the chopping board and walked a few steps to give them kisses on their foreheads. Misako quickly felt Lloyd tagging on her shirt indicating for her to look at him.
“What is it honey?” Misako asked.
“I’vm mwade a.. a cward fwor you.” Baby Lloyd handed over a card that was mostly made but his father helped him to design the cover page. Misako saw the card that Lloyd gave her and saw the cover page which says ‘Happy Mother’s Day’, she saw that Garmadon helped him with the designing and once she opened the card, it was filled with a lot of heartfelt messages from Lloyd.
When she was finished reading the card, she was about to cry with happy tears. “Thank you Lloyd” She thanked him and picks him up from his father’s arms, giving Lloyd soft kisses on his face. Garmadon couldn’t stop himself but to smile at the sight and taking a photo of the pair.
The afternoon approaches, Garmadon helped out Misako for the last dish for the Mother’s Day gathering and Lloyd was watching some kids tv show on the TV. The gate’s bell rang and Garmadon went over to check who was at the metal gates, when he opened the door he saw Ray, Maya, baby Kai and he saw Lou, Lily and baby Cole at the gate, the parents waved at Garmadon and he opened the gate by using the remote keys he had in his pockets.
The two families walked in the gate and greeted them, both Cole and Kai was watching TV with Lloyd. While the parents were talking amongst themselves. Shortly after the Walker family came and last Wu and his new adopted son, Morro came around as well.
All the kids were watching TV together, both Morro and Kai grew close by tackling each other. Playfighting about who gets the toy that Misako gave to them all to play together or in duos.
“I wwant to have a turn on it! It’s mwy turn” Kai growled at Morro as he was trying to pull the toy train off Morro’s hands. Morro shakes his head.
”Nah uh!” Morro glared at Kai. They both gave each other a glare, you could feel like there was a heated moment between the kids.
“Who is that Wu?” Garmadon asked his brother who just finished his conversation with Ray. Wu looked over to Garmadon and then looked over to Morro who was trying to get the jenga blocks from Kai. Wu sighed.
“That’s Morro. I adopted him not long ago, he is a few years older then everyone else but he is a nice kid.” Wu reassured Garmadon about Morro and they had a talk about kids and life afterwards.
Misako and Maya came around from the kitchen to give out snacks to the kids frist and placed the plate on the coffee table. “Alright kids, please don’t rush and fight for the food and eat very slowly, ok?” Maya told the kids and saw their heads nodding in agreement.
At the age of 3 and a half besides Lloyd who was a year younger, knows how to eat by themselves. Misako stayed by Lloyd’s side because he was still learning how to pick up the kids utensils and grabbing things off the plate himself.
Slowly all the parents gathered around their kids and all agreed to watch Disney, Brave. But before they watched the film, all the kids gave their Mother’s gifts for their special day and gave them a big hug and kisses.
Together all the mothers have a group photo with their gifts and smiles at the camera. There was 3 photos in total, one with all the mothers, the second one was with the kids and lastly with everyone in one photo. Morro was still included in the second one even though he was adopted but he was happy that Misako asked him to join her and Lloyd.
Throughout the film, some people shed tears while some had to comfort them. By the end of the film everyone enjoyed the film, especially the kids. Even though it was not their kind of film they watched, they enjoyed it anyway. 7pm rolls around and Misako prepared a Mother’s Day dish for everyone and it was rice with drumsticks. There was some side dishes that came along with it, everyone ate in peace and some conversations were happening all around.

”Bye!! Thank you for everything, Misako!” The three girls waved at Misako as they all entered their separate cars and drove off. Misako, Garmadon and Lloyd was at the door saying their goodbyes to their friends and wishing them a goodnight. The only other person that stayed was Wu, but he was preparing to leave with Morro in his hand.
“Thank you again, Auntie Misako” Morro smiled at Misako as he hugged her. “Happy Mother’s Day”
Misako giggled and brushed through his hair. “Anytime.”
Wu and Morro left, waving them goodbye and they started to walk down the street. Garmadon closed the door behind them. Both parents heard their child yawn and looked at each other.
“I’ll take Lloyd to bed and I’ll put everything away, ok?” Garmadon smiled, slowly handed Lloyd to Misako and gave the two a kiss. Misako nodded and started to head to the stairs.
With Garmadon, he was finishing off cleaning the pots which was on the stove and then leaving it to dry on the rack. He dried off his hands and also headed up the stairs to greet Misako who was putting Lloyd to bed.
“Goodnight my Prince.” Misako kissed Lloyd’s head, putting his blanket over his body. She saw that Lloyd was smiling with the nickname and was hugging his toy plushie.
“Nigwt Mama, Dada.”
“Goodnight Lloyd.” Garmadon walked behind Misako and booped Lloyd’s nose. Misako didn’t realise that Garmadon was behind her, so she was startled by the sudden hand that booped Lloyd’s nose.
“He kinda reminds me of you when you were little” Misako whispered as she was putting away some toys around Lloyd’s room.
The parents left his room and headed to their room to get ready for bed. Misako was wearing a long light purple sleeping robe, while Garmadon was only wearing his boxers. The pair went under the covers and closed the night stand light off.
There was a brief silence before Garmadon turned on his side to look at Misako. Putting her hair behind her ear.
“Misako, Happy Mother’s Day. Sorry if I couldn’t get you anything” he said in a soft tone with a hint of guilt in his voice and Misako gave him a kiss.
“Thank you. And it’s ok. You and Lloyd is all I want, I couldn’t trade the world.” Misako smiled at him and then brought her body close to him and hugged him.
“And you know, being an archaeologist that studies ancient history and finding old artefacts. Because it was you who inspired me” Misako looked up to face Garmadon in the eyes and smiled at him. Garmadon couldn’t help himself but to kiss her on the lips again.
They broke the kiss a few minutes later, Garmadon having his arms around Misako’s waist a as they slowly drifted to sleep.
“Goodnight, love”

“Argh! I had enough of this game!” Cole raged at the pool game. He scuffed and decided to get his swimming trunks. He left the room to go to the bathroom, which was outside to get into his swimming trunks with his towel.
“Yeah I agree.” Both Lloyd, and Nya said at the same time. At the same time they were putting away the sticks and the balls so that it’ll be neat and tidy for the next group of people when they came in.
“Hey Mum, me and the gang will go out to the pool for a bit, ok?” Lloyd looked over to Misako who was talking to both Wu and Morro. Misako looked back and gave him the nod of approval and he left soonly after with Jay to get ready.
Back with Misako, Morro and Wu. Morro brought up his last history exam grades and asked for Misako if he was in the right or wrong. When Misako looked at it she saw that Morro did extremely well but there was some questions he got wrong like the, FangBlades, the Air Jutsu temple, and the Golden Weapons. Master Yang. Since it was his second exam before the final, she left the room for a bit to get her books that she brought and kept for a long period of time.
When Misako left, Ray and Ed were giving questionable looks to Garmadon. Not judging ones but a confused to you gotta explain yourself look.
“So Garmadon my friend, are you and Misako together again?” Ed took a sip of his drink and turned to face Garamdon who was biting on the watermelon pieces.
“No. But we are on good terms though, so that’s a start.” Both of the guys nodded their heads.
Soonly after the 3 boys were talking amongst themselves. Garmadon mentioned to them after Misako’s first week at the company he might try to ask her on a date and also he was looking forward to see how well Clutch Powers and Misako would be together. When he interviewed Clutch, he can see potential in him because he doesn’t have a big employment history but he is on the same level with Misako so he decided to take them both in and have them work in the same department. Misako being the head of the team of course.
“Honestly Garmadon, when I heard the girls teasing Misako about the hug and looking at the girls it seems that everything is going smoothly for you, Garmadon.” Ed turned his head to look at his wife Edna, giggling and then turning his head back.
Garmadon felt embarrassed. He scratched his head from behind and giving the boys an awkward smile.
“Yes it is. But like I said, I’ll try to ask her on a date later and hopefully things will get better from there” Garmadon let out a smile. Just thinking about the thought makes him easier then suddenly he felt a shock of pleasure and quickly gave a quick glance to Misako who was massaging herself as she placed down the books on the table.
‘This woman would be the death of me’ Garmadon thought to himself as he excused himself to walk outside where Lloyd and his friends were. Garmadon closed the door behind him and walked towards where Lloyd was about to do a cannonball into the pool.
Lloyd was about to jump when he felt someone picking him up and when Lloyd look it was his father having the biggest grin on his face.
“Hi dad! Are you going to join us?” Lloyd asked his dad, Garmadon shakes his head and then suddenly threw him in the pool.
Lloyd swims up to the surface and glares at his father. “That’s a bit mean dad!” Lloyd shouted at him and made a pouty face. Lloyd swam a bit closer and splashed his dad with the pool water.
“Oh you little…” Garmadon chuckled and used his right arm to flick back water at Lloyd.
Both Garmadon and Lloyd was playing with each other by flicking water back at each other, when Misako walked out with Wu and Morro, she saw her ex-husband playing with Lloyd and honestly she wanted to join along with them but couldn’t because she was smiling at the sight.
Misako had an idea…
“Dad, you should get in! The water is warm, you as well Aunties and Uncles!” Lloyd looked at his dad at first and then looked at the other parents.
Maya and Edna nodded in agreement and headed towards the change rooms, while Lou, Ed, Wu and Morro turned down the offer.
When the two women were getting ready in the change room, Misako was watching Lloyd and Garmadon playing in the pool. Both her and Garmadon knows that, things will get better. If she wanted to start now, today might be the day will start everything off. The idea she had was basically childsplay… Pushing someone into the pool.
Misako slowly approached Garmadon who was standing crossing his arms together. And before anything Misako nudged him into the pool, giggling. Before Misako pushed Garmadon, Lloyd saw his mother approaching them but he wanted to say something but he really wants to see his dads reaction.
“Ok. Who has pushed me…” Garmadon turns around and to see Misako giggling her ass off. Garmadon couldn’t resist but to swim closer to the edge and did a big jump to grab her and pulled her into the pool.
“GARMADON!” Misako swam to the surface and playfully hit him on the shoulders. She saw both of her boys laughing at her. Did she say both of her boys? Misako sighed at herself because slowly she’s starting to like Garmadon again..
“Pay back” Garmadon winked at her. Misako couldn’t hide her face because a small tint of red appeared on her face and buried her head in the water.
“First it was dad then now mum. How cute” Lloyd smiled at his parents, and then Maya and Edna came out they saw both Misako and Garmadon in the pool with their clothes?
”Did… Did we miss something dear?” Edna asked her husband when she placed down her bag with her clothes next to the table full of food and drinks. Wu looked at them.
”Yes. My brother, Garmadon threw Lloyd in the pool, then Misako pushed my brother Garmadon in the pool and then Garmadon jumped and grabbed her.” Wu gave a thumbs up and rolling his eyes. Maya and Edna looked at each other.
“Right….” Maya said and gave Ray a kiss on the cheek and went into the pool.
The afternoon went well, the parents were happy to watch their kids to play pool games with each other, Morro shortly after joined in because he wants to reconnect with Lloyd and wanted to know more about himself and his group of friends. For both Misako and Garmadon, they were still talking and then Maya stole Misako away from Garmadon giving him a playful smirk. Garmadon growled a bit but let it because it was Misako’s day so he wants her to be happy. When the night came around, all the mothers helped out Misako making dinner, while the kids were playing video games in the lounge room, for the guys they were all laughing at each other.

“Oh look guys I found diamonds!” Kai said in excitement and was about to mine it when a blue figure came by him.
“Haha yoink!” Jay chuckled and started to mine Kai’s diamonds. Kai, Jay, Nya, and Lloyd went to the caves to grab materials for their base. Nya was the person who defended the boys because they really don’t watch out for their surroundings. Kai nearly died from an ender man attack, Jay nearly died in lava twice and for Lloyd he was going to die to a baby zombie. Luckily to all of this Nya was the one to save the day.
“GOD DAMNIT JAY, GIVE ME BACK THE DIAMONDS I HAVE FOUND!!” Kai shouted at Jay and started to chase him down the cave with his enchanted iron sword. Jay started to laugh hysterically as he started to run off with Kai’s diamonds. The group was playing Minecraft in their realm; they all played regularly for the last 2 years together. Lloyd was mining iron ores and then heard the cave sound and got creeped out by it and turned his Minecraft self, there was nothing. Lloyd sighed. They moved playing Minecraft in Lloyd’s room because they were playing Smash Bros on Cole’s switch but then they all agreed to play on their Minecraft realm for a bit.
“Jay… Can you give back the diamonds back to Kai please?” Nya chased down Jay with Kai and then cornered him in the cave corner. While this was happening, both Cole and Zane was busy making the base for everyone to share, Pixel was looking for flowers for her house because everyone was planning to live near each other and she was looking for roses, dandelions, blue orchids and cornflowers. But she loves any type of flowers but her favourite one is blue orchids.
“Nah uh!” Jay looked at both Nya and Kai.
“The FUCK YOU MEAN, NAH UH!” Kai was so ready to kill Jay in the corner of the cave. Lloyd came around the corner and saw the situation, in his inventory he had like what 1 block of diamonds and 4 diamonds on the side, he didn’t tell anyone cause he knew that it’ll cause a war.
“Guys I think we should keep our voices down… Cause yes my walls are sound proof but I don’t like loud noises.” Lloyd told off Kai and told everyone in the room just to let them know. Everyone understood and both Kai and Jay apologised.
“Thank you, now I’m not staying in this cave because of the bloody cave noises are creepy as hell.” Kai, Cole and Jay nodded their heads because they too hate the cave noises.
“Technically according to my calculations, if we had the haunted texture packs with the horror creatures I’ve seen on the internet, we’d all be scared and hate going mining, including the night times as well.” Zane smiled at the group and yes they do agree with him because it was quite popular but luckily this was vanilla Minecraft with the normal mobs.
“Yeah I ain’t gonna last a day if that’s the case..” Jay started to get scared and looked around the caves and luckily, the spiders or the skeletons were killed off by Nya who was also helping to track down Jay who had still have Kai’s diamonds.
Back with the adults, they were setting up the table for everyone and was getting ready to knock on Lloyd’s door to say dinner was ready. Once the table was set, Ray walked over to Garmadon with a mischievous grin on his face. When Garmadon was looking at his phone looking through emails, he sensed that someone was coming over and he saw Ray having the most evil smile on his face.
“Why do you have a smile…” Garmadon gave Ray his ‘tired look not caring face’, and Ray wrapped is arms around Garmadon’s shoulders.
“Welllll, you’re dear old Misako needs a hand orrr you can like try to flirt with her again” Ray had a cat grinned smile on his face. Garmadon just stood there, phone in is hand and lightly truns his head.
“ARE YOU CRAZY?!” Garmadon whispered loudly so that just himself, Ray and Edna can hear. Edna didn’t say anything, she did hear it but decided to grab the children from Lloyd’s room.
“Well a little birdy tells me that you already made your move already is that right?” Ray raised his eyebrows and grinned. Garmadon squinted his eyes to see if Ray was bluffing about the situation but it turns out he was telling the truth.
“Depends.” Garmadon gently take’s Ray’s arm off of his shoulder. Ray looks back to see his wife, Maya talking to Misako and they were both giggling about something.
“I heard that you had slept over here before and Misako was sleeping on your lap.” Ray looked into Garmadon’s body language and he was right.
“Lloyd told you.” Garmadon rolled his eyes. Ray shook his head.
“Maya told me. Misako was having a girl talk on the phone and I overheard Maya being all fangirling about it.” Garmadon sighed, he should’ve thought it was the girls but never knew Misako would tell. Yet again Misako and Maya are close so gossip spreads. He just hopes that no one else knows.
“I was right!” Ray punched the air.
“So you should, like flirt with Misako in the kitchen” Ray playfully punched Garmadon’s shoulders.
“No thank you. And besides I would rather not show my terrible flirting” Garmadon blushed slightly.
“Says the person who flirted with Misako when we were younger and made a move” Garmadon widened his eyes and grumbled a bit. Before Ray could say more, Misako came by and told the gentlemen that the food was ready and to be seated down.
“You’re lucky Misako came by or I’d find a way to make you flirt with her” Ray playfully flicked Garmadon’s forehead and sat down next to Maya and Kai who was next to Nya and Jay.
“Yeah.. Luckily.” Garmadon rolled his eyes and then went over to sit between Lloyd and Cole. He really wanted to sit next to Misako but he was too shy to ask.
As the night progressed, Ed and Edna had to leave because they couldn’t leave their JunkYard for an amount of time but they did hugged Misako and congratulate her on the job. Before Ed walked out he eyed Garmadon and gave him a smirk and left. Garmadon saw and couldn’t tell if Ed wanted him to make a move but he won’t do that just yet.
“Hey Mum, is it just us kids going to have a sleepover?” Lloyd looked across the dinner table and eyed his mum. Misako finished the last of her food and swallowed it.
“I believe so because some of your parents have things to do in the mornings. So I wouldn’t mind if it’s just you guys and myself.” Misako smiled and placed her utensils on the plate neatly. Lloyd looked over to his dad and waited to see if he’ll be able to stay with them.
“Lloyd… I’m not sure” Garmadon looks at Lloyd, he did had the time to stay because his original plan for tomorrow was basically to watch the F1 racing. But he’ll try to stay as much as he can.
“Pleeaasseeee…” Lloyd groaned and nudged his dad.
“We’ll see kiddo” Garmadon smiles.
After dinner the kids left to Lloyd’s room again to play on their realm, the adults helped Misako out to clean the dishes and clean up the place. Maya and Misako was cleaning the dishes and putting it away while Lou, Wu, Garmadon and Ray was tidying up the place. Both brothers were sweeping the living room, while the other two was cleaning up the tables by wiping the table down and waiting for the brothers to sweep it up.
Everyone shortly finished their parts, Wu and Lou had to leave because they have pets waiting for them and it was nearly 10pm and they don’t like to be out past 10pm. Wu will pick up Morro tomorrow morning or if Morro messages him, he’ll see him at home. So the two guys all said their farewells and left the apartment. Funny enough it was the Smiths and the Garmadons.
“Hey Ray, darling. We’re going to leave soon as well but feel free to catch up or make plans with Garmadon.” Maya glanced over to the boys, Ray gave her a thumbs up and shot back to Garmadon.
“When we leave… You’re gonna stay here… Am I right?” Ray said it with a bit of a playful tone in his voice.
“Yes.. Lloyd wants me to stay so.” Garmadon looked away.
“Oh really?” Ray grinned.
“Yes. But even so, I’ll want to spend more time with my family.” Garmadon had a tint of red on his face.
“Rigghhttt…” Ray chuckled.
Soonly after Ray and Maya left and now it’s just Garmadon and Misako. Misako came out of her room, while Garmadon was in the living room scrolling through the internet. Misako thought Garmadon would’ve left with Ray and stuff but she’s glad that he is staying.
“Garmadon.” Misako slowly approached him, Garmadon could smell the strawberry conditioner that she used. Garmadon startled for a moment.
“Yes..?” Garmadon responded.
“Why are you still here?” Misako asked him and sat down next to him on the couch.
“I wanted…. I wanted to spend time with you and Lloyd.” Garmadon looked away. He heard a slight giggle and turned to see Misako giggling at him. Misako opened her eyes and made eye contact.
“You are more then welcome to stay here, when Lloyd has friends over or even just him. You are welcome here anytime Garmadon.” Misako smiled at him.
Shortly after the two had a deep conversation about the job and their lives. One another both mentioned that they can try to start again all over again and which Misako agreed to and Garmadon couldn’t be more happy to spend time with his one true love again. After the party, on the same week Garmadon was quite jealous of Clutch Powers of how close he was to Misako but he had to keep it professional so that not just Clutch but other people wouldn’t notice it at all.
Garmadon was busy on his computer looking for more research sites where people are digging some old records about the Realm Crystal. Then he heard a knock on his door.
“Garmadon sir, can I come in? I found new things about the Golden weapons and I think you should see this” He heard Misako’s voice from the other side.
“Yeah you can come in.” Garmadon responded and eyed the door. Misako opened the door, walked in and headed over to Garmadon’s office chairs.
“Before we start, please if it’s just us. Garmadon.” Garmadon looked at Misako.
“I mean.. Yeah I can work with that” Misako smiles.
“So what have you found?” Garmadon sat up. Misako slides over the flies to Garmadon and he opened them. After briefly looking through the file, he took a deep breath.
“I see. Well… I’ll have to contact Wu now about this.” Garmadon said while Misako was slowly nodding her head. Garmadon sighed and looked at the time. Lunch time, 1pm. Garmadon looks up and touches Misako’s hand.
“Wanna grab lunch with me?” Garmadon politely asked. Misako noticed the hand and then turned to look at Garmadon.
“I like that” Misako smiles, they both stood up and walked out of the door together. As they walked out together, some of the staff members saw them. Some of them were looking at each other but luckily Bloom the head manager, Garamdon’s trustworthy head manager, told them off and told them to continue with their work. They left the building shortly after and wandered around Ninjago City.
“Do you want to stop by a local Cafe or just a quick stop at a supermarket?” Garmadon asked Misako as she was looking around the city for options.
“I’ll go with a cafe, I’d love to have a Hot Chocolate with a croissant” Misako grins as she is already picturing the food in front of her. Garmadon chuckled at Misako.
“Sure thing.” Garmadon lead her to his local cafe that he visits from time to time and introduces her to the lovely waitress, Sunny. The two ladies were having a small chat and then sat down at the window where Garmadon was viewing Misako of her beauty.
“What? Do I have something on my face?” Misako looks at Garmadon and tilted her head.
“No. But I can’t stop thinking how beautiful you are.” Garmadon told Misako and Misako blushed a little.
“You flatter me too much.” Misako waved her hand, Garmadon shook his head.
“But it’s the truth. You are the most beautiful woman I ever laid my eyes upon.” Garmadon and Misako made eye contact and this time Misako reached her hand over to his and placed it on top.
The cafe music started to play ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri. The tension was there but they couldn’t stop looking at each other.

“Oh look, It’s Garmadon.” A mysterious figure looks at Misako and Garmadon through the cafe window with a slight confusion in their face.
“I thought they got divorced Master.” The other figure looked up to their master. Without a doubt, the other chuckled.
“They are Clous, but something tells me that they’ll be together again.” The master looks at Clous, signalling for them to walk in.
The little bell rings, the waitress Sunny looked over when she gave both Garmadon and Misako their drinks and saw Clous and Master Chen. Sunny glanced over where Garmadon was talking to Misako about his plans for the company and mentioning a family day out with him, Misako and Lloyd.
‘This cannot be good.’ Sunny thought to herself as she smiled at the two gentlemen entering the door and walking up to them.
“Good afternoon, are you guys taking away or dining in for today?” Sunny had to fake her smile because she knew what they did to the Garmadon family, so she kept her posure and remained professional.
Master Chen looked at her, and glanced over where Garmadon and Misako was sitting and if you look closely, you can tell he is smirking. Master Chen looked back at the waitress.
“A table for two and may we have a table that is near the window, please?” He said in a polite way possible, even though Sunny can detect that there was a bit of sarcasm in his voice.
Sunny nodded her head and lead the two gentlemen to their table and walked in front of Garmadon so that Garmadon doesn’t suspect that they are here. But it was too late, Garmadon sensed that his old Master was here and before Sunny blocked his view, he gave a pissed off look to his Master and Clous.
“Garmadon?” Misako didn’t even notice that Clous was looking at her, she just thought it was someone outside. But when Garmadon stopped talking to her, she was worried if she said something wrong to him.
“Garmadon… Is there something wrong? Did I say something bad to cross your boundraies..?” Misako said in a worried voice and brought her left hand to his and it made him lost his focused and looked at Misako.
“Shit..” Garmadon said in a whisper and retracted his hand and shook his head. Garmadon looked at Misako.
“Sorry. What did you say?” Garmadon asked, with a slight hint of annoyance because of Chen and Clous was right beside them.
Before Misako could reply, Clous interrupted them.
“So how’s it going? Enjoying your lovely dateee??” Clous said in a teasing tone with a cat like grin face as he looked at both Misako and Garmadon.
Misako looked at Garmadon with a surprised look of concern. Garmadon looked back at her with a small smile so that Misako doesn’t think he is pissed off with her and started to bounce his right leg up and down because Clous just ruined the atmosphere for them.
“C-Clous? What are you doing here?” Misako asked with a confused expression. Clous looks at her with his grin.
“Oh you know. Catching up with old friends.” He grinned.
Misako looked around the cafe and saw no one she knew besides herself, Clous and Garmadon. “Who, may I ask?” Misako asked.
“It’s you guys, silly” Clous playfully rolled his eyes.
“Why…?” Garmadon was silent when Misako was asking all the questions. He as too anxious of what Clous was going to say so he kept silent until he has a reason to talk.
“Nothing really. I was just curious of why you two are together after the ‘down fall’, that’s all.” And within that, Garmadon’s leg stopped bouncing, clinching his hands into a fist ready to punch him right there and then.
“The ‘down fall’ you are referring too is your success right?” Misako calmly asked as she was drinking her hot chocolate.
Silence filled up the space around the group, Misako calmly placed down her cup and quickly grabbed Clous by the collar making him slam his left arms to balance himself on the table.
“Thanks to your bullshit Clous, you made me have a blind eye not realising that it was a set-up from you and that lady it’s been a decade since me and Garmadon been divorced but only fucking recently that we saw the CCTV footages, you fucking…
Disguised yourself as Garmadon but did unforgivable things in that room. YOU. ARE. DISGUSTING. PIG.” Misako remained calm and the very last part she snapped, she let go of Clous’s collar and slightly pushed him with her arm.
Garmadon seeing all of this, he was quite surprised that his Misako, well not ‘his’ but she’s still his mate nonetheless but wow he was surprised and not gonna lie he was thinking about something…
“So if you’re only here only to harass us then I’ll be gladly shove this lovely teaspoon down your throat.” Misako smiles innocently…
…
“Garmadon you married or were married to a feisty woman.” Master Chen said to himself as he drank his long black.
The Cafe customers were looking at Misako and Clous. Some gave worried glances and some were giving the side eyes but they all continued on doing their own businesses. Sunny the waitress she saw the entire thing and was surprised that Garmadon never mentioned that he was married to a fiesty woman. Good on him.
“I’d like to see you…” before Clous finished his sentence, Master Chen got the information he needed and kicked Clous’s leg.
“Clous, sit down.” Clous looked back at his Master and sat down. Garmadon was looking at Clous with a glare but was laughing inside where Misako basically stood her ground.
Misako straightened herself up and looked at Garmadon. “Ready to go? I’ll eat the croissant on the way back to work” Misako smiles at him.
“Yeah, sounds fine with me” Garmadon agreed and bowed to be respectful to Master Chen and Clous.
They left the cafe.
“Lloyd! Lloyd…” Someone was saying Lloyd’s name. Lloyd slowly pulled his head up and saw that Nya was there with a worried look on her face.
“N..Nya..? What time is it” Lloyd asked Nya I’m a croaky tone, Nya simply laughed and pointed at the time.
“You fell asleep in class, and since we shared the same class I didn’t want to bother you” Nya patted Lloyd’s hair.
“So it’s the last period of the day…?” Lloyd looks up and saw that it was just himself, Nya and Cole in the room.
“Yeah it is” Cole got down from the table and walked towards the two. Lloyd was now standing up, packing his belongings.
“Oh… Sorry.” Lloyd apologised to Nya and Cole.
“It’s ok Lloyd. We should’ve told you to get off when all of us were logging out for the night.” Nya reassured him.
“And besides, we’re close to defeat the Winter. We just need potions ready to go.” Cole had his bag around his neck because it was a messenger bag.
“Yeah, I was up trying to get good enchantments. Sorry again” Lloyd pulled his chair in and the trio walked out of the class and headed towards their last subject of the day.
At the end of the day Lloyd, was waiting for his Mhm to pick him up. He said goodbye to Zane and Cole when their parents picked them up, then saw his dad pulled up at the car parks and saw his Mum and Dad walked out, together.
Lloyd and everyone else was so shocked of what they are seeing right now. All the teachers who were on duty saw the two and had their mouths open because of what they are witnessing. A few single parents were jealous that Misako was next to Garmadon. But all attention was on the Garamdon family.
“This is so embarrassing” Lloyd gripped his hoodie and hid his face with his red blushing faces. He wish that a black hole would emerged from the group and gobbled him up.
“Dang you’re mum and dad knows how to make an entrance” Kai nudged Lloyd and was chuckling at his little bro because both Nya and Kai see Lloyd as a little brother of their own, being the RGB siblings of the friend group.
“Yeahh they do…” Lloyd was still covering his embarrassment with his hoodie. From afar, Morro saw his Auntie and Uncle coming out of the same car, he made a small grin knowing that someday that he’ll see the two of them making a huge impact in front of the entire school.
“It feels like it was yesterday.” Morro walked past parents who were still shocked with what they are witnessing and he proceeded to walk home.
“Lloyd! Me and your father decided to pick you up” Misako waved to Llyod with a big smile and didn’t care or even realise that they made a huge scene.
“Y-yeah… I can see that Mum..” Llyod looked at her and the back down on the ground because he was too shy to show his red face to his mum.
“Let’s go, your father and I will be taking you to the movies and then dinner together!” Misako smiles and holds Lloyd’s hands and when she grabbed his hand softly, Garmadon was watching and actually noticed that some of the parents were watching the entire thing.
‘What can I say? We make a hella good entrance’ Garmadon confidently said it to himself because when himself, Misako and Wu were in high school both of the sons of the Spin Jutsu Master made an entrance with their father and everyone was watching them. What can he say, he likes to make big entrances sometimes.
As they drove off, Lloyd sank to the car seat.
“You guys are too embarrassing. You looked like you guys looked too powerful. I can sensed it when Mum walked out with you father but even her alone! Mum has a huge aurora around her” Lloyd looks at the car mirror and saw that his dad was looking at him.
Lloyd heard laughter from his parents.
“You’ll get used to us kiddo.” Garmadon said to Lloyd as he looked at the traffic lights.

“I missed a Garmadon entrance?!” Cole shouted through his mic. Lloyd finches a little because he doesn’t like people yelling through the microphone.
“Yeah…? It’s not a big deal…?” Lloyd looked at Cole’s avatar on SoulWorker. Cole’s avatar, Iris looks at Lloyd’s avatar.
“Not a big deal to you but man I haven’t seen any of your parents making a huge entrance!” Cole ran around Lloyd as they were waiting for everyone else to log on for the weekend. Due to having a long weekend, they all agreed on playing SoulWorker because it’s been a while since they played it as a group.
“But you seen them in person…” Lloyd let out a sigh.
“Yeah, yeah. I know” Cole rolled his eyes on the over end of the screen.
Shortly after everyone was online. Meanwhile with Misako who was doing some important emails to her team about the next month's trip to Hiroshi’s Labyrinth. Misako sank on the couch because of the tiring day she had today.
“Today was a mess…” Misako looked over at Lloyd’s door and could tell he was playing games with his buddies. She shortly got off the couch and walked to the kitchen to make dinner for herself and Lloyd.

A month and a half went by, the relationship between Garmadon and Misako has improved significantly a lot since 2 months ago that they first encountered and had a chat to one another. Frequently both Misako and Garmadon asked out each other out, some days Lloyd comes along and some other days it’s just them alone. When it was just the two of them, there are times that things started to get ‘heated’ and after that everything is all fine.

“Seven Deadly Sins is way much better then Bleach!” Silence…
“How… Dare… You!!!” Jay slammed the desk table and some students walked by the classroom and saw that Jay was ready to strangle Kai. Everyone in the friend group knows that both Jay and Kai are hardcore Anime nerds. Cole, and Nya likes anime but they are not hardcore fans like Jay and Kai are.
“You’re just upset that King from the series looks a lot like you” Kai jokingly said to Jay, and Jay made a ‘how dare you face’.
“I am insulted!” Jay huffed and crossed his arms.
The two boys keep on yapping at each other, some insults were made but other then that everyone else is all chilling and watching the show.
Lloyd was looking at the time on the clock, 2:30pm. ‘One more class and then it’s over.’ He sighs.
Lloyd gently lay down his head and resting it on his arms. He really wants to sleep right then and there because he has a late night shift tonight after school and it ends at 11pm. Which Misako was fine with.
“King is eh, but you know who isn’t? Gilthunder and Toshiro. They are more handsome then King, Meliodas, Ichigo and Ban.” Pixel spoke up between the two. Nya giggled as she agreed with Pixel.
Both boys looked at her. Kai looked up and down, analysing the sentence.
“Knowing girls, they’ll like whoever is attractive.” Kai shrugged, Jay didn’t want to nod his head because he knows that not all the girls always fall head over heels of popular characters.
“Not true Kai. You might not know this, some girls don’t always like popular characters. I heard one of the girls in Morro’s Grade heavily dislikes Sasuke Uchiha. She says that he’s too much and not sure why people like him. And then I heard that, by saying that chiming in Sakura is useless blah blah blah. Which she defended because she actually likes Sakura as a character. But I’m not getting into that” Zane places down his book, putting it away in his bag and took out his drink bottle.
“Yeah I don’t want to rant on how much…” Before Kai could finish, Jay interrupted him.
“ANYWAYS, Lloyd you ok buddy?” Jay slightly nudged him, Lloyd made a groan sound indicating he doesn’t want to be disturbed.
“I think Lloyd has the late night shift tonight” Cole responded to Jay.
“Oh.. Is he trying to get his licence?” Jay asked
“Well we all past our test to get our Learners, but yeah since Lloyd doesn’t want to relay on his parents he wants to get as many shifts as he can so that he can get at least 60 hours, he wants an extra 10 to be prepared for his test”Jay hummed in response, and left Lloyd to rest.
“Luckily, we all have the same class here so we’re all good” Everyone nodded their heads.
As the afternoon rolled around, Misako was making an afternoon snack for herself and Garmadon. As she was making food, her thoughts were spinning around and different memories emerged.

“Misako, darling come on out let us see you!” Lilly asked through the red curtains. Misako looks at herself in the mirror, she was completely embarrassed.
“No!! This is embarrassing” Misako semi-yelled, she was looking at herself. Misako was wearing dark purple lingerie with a rose pattern on the top and bottom.
“I wish I never agreed to this!” Misako took a deep breath
“Can’t believe that I agreed to come here again!” As she said that, she walked out. All the girls looks at her and gasped.
“In full honesty honey, you look amazing!” Lilly called her hands in excitement. Edna nodded her head while Maya was looking for more options for her in the store.
“More like embarrassing… I’m not sure if Garmadon would like this.” Misako was looking down at herself, she wasn’t wearing any shoes, only the lingerie and her hair was in a braided bun.
“He definitely would love it. Who knows… He might ‘devour’ you again” all the girls besides Misako agreed to Bloom’s statement.
Maya came back and this time she came back with two more fits for Misako to wear. Both Edna and Lily gave a widen look expression, because they all know that Maya likes to take action but the fits that she has chosen will definitely make Misako more attractive and embarrassed.
Misako looks at them and quickly took her phone out to message Maya because she can’t really yell in the store. After Misako sent the message out, Maya giggled.
“Ok this one is more like ‘Please take me here and now’ while this one is more ‘Come and get your gift, Honey’” Maya showed the two fits, Misako likes the one on the left more then the one she’s wearing now and the one on the right.
“This’ll be the last one, I promise” Maya smiled and Misako sighed and walked back in.
“I’m not doing this again” Misako had her back turned to the girls and they giggled at her statement because they all know that, they’ll be doing this again.

“Misako, I’m home!” Garmadon closed the door behind him and placed the keys on the table. Odd. Garmadon was expecting Misako in the living room reading her fantasy novels she adores, but she was nowhere to be seen. He placed his jacket on the coatrack and proceeded to look downstairs and then went upstairs.

Garmadon approached the door and as he opens it, there was a few candles lit up and he saw Misako reading her book. It didn’t take long for her to realise that Garmadon was at their bedroom door. Misako bookmarked her chapter and greeted Garmadon with a smile.
“Garmadon, your home early. How was your day?” Misako asked so innocently and still had her bathrobe wrapped around her.
Garmadon closed the door behind him and walked over to the bed, his back was turned as he sat down.
“Horrible. Clous was too annoying because he always wanted Master Chen's approval. He’s always trying his hardest to beat me, sure he’s strong but he’s too stubborn.” Garmadon growled and laid down. He shortly after turned his head to face Misako.
“What about you? What did you do today?” Garmadon asked. Misako looked around the room, the candles is set, the lingerie that she brought under her robe and a new bed-style she wants to try out.
“Before I answer, do I have consent to you?” Misako looks at him and looks away straight away. Garmadon rosed his eyebrows at the question.
“Like… what do you mean?” Garmadon rolled over to his side and looking at Misako’s lovely braided hair. He touches the hair tip and was swirling around his finger.
There was nothing coming from Misako but she rolled over her side and now she was on top of Garmadon, he was shocked and saw she was bright red.
“I meant… Sexually..” Misako looks into Garmadon’s eyes.
“Yes, you do have my full consent. And you don’t have to always ask me, you know.” Garmadon gave her a smirk.
“I-I know but I like to ask..” Misako heard a small chuckle from Garmadon.
“You’re too cute” within that they capture each others lips, Garmadon now sitting up wrapping his right hand on Misako’s hair and his left near her ass.
Before Garmadon could make a move on…
Misako was woken up from her daydream by the doorbell ringing.
‘Shit!!’ Misako straightened herself up and opened the door where Garmadon bought her roses.
“Here, it’s been a while since I gave you roses” Garmadon smiled and Misako happily took them, allowing Garmadon to walk in the door.
“Thank you but you shouldn’t have” Misako brought the roses to an empty vase and put water in the vase.
Garmadon swung his hand in his face, indicating that he didn’t mind at all. Every now and then he likes buying her gifts, like taking her to her favourite film or a even a walk in the park.
“I like giving you roses, because it always reminds me of our first date” Garmadon smiled and he sat down at the kitchen table.
“That’s fair, but thank you again” Misako kissed his cheek. Garmadon smiled.
Misako walked around the kitchen table and started to continue making the afternoon snack, Garmadon was watching her making food. Oh how he misses her cooking.
Shortly after Misako made their food, both herself and Garmadon watched a movie together, since it was quite chilly, she wrapped herself and Garmadon in the blanket and cuddled.
As the afternoon progressed, Lloyd was working at his job and Garmadon agreed to pick him up because Misako was fine with Garmadon saying over.
6:30pm rolled around, Misako was biting her fingernails, being anxious. In the back of her mind she really wants to know if Garmadon ever had the thought of the sexy times.
“Hey Garm..” Garmadon responded with a hum.
“Have you ever dream or thought about us together… like sexually..?” Garmadon stopped scrolling on his phone and then looks at her.
“Yes. And frequently sometimes.” Misako slightly turned red.

I am so sorry for the month delay. I recently got sick and on top of that I had to manage two jobs and also maintaining my uni life. I also have to let you guys know that from 25th August till 16th September I will be in Japan for a bit. So I’ll try to manage two more chapters and then I’ll be away of writing this up, I’ll admit when I was away for a month I felt very bad of not finishing this story so once I get better and hopefully soon, i can get at least 2 chapters out. But in my time off I’ve been doing Artfight and it was very fun for myself.

Thinking for a moment, Garmadon has to be honest because he does has those dreams but he maintained himself of finding Misako due to her scent. After the divorce he wasn’t himself but tried to maintain a healthy lifestyle without his beloved wife and his son.
“Even when we had the divorce…?” Misako looked at his direction to see his reaction. There was a brief moment for Garmadon to think about. He doesn’t know if he should be honest up front or lie. But Garmadon always likes the truths. After he told Misako about the letter, there was some distrust from both Misako and Wu but slowly over time they forgive him and loved him of who he is.
“…Yes..” Garmadon looked into Misako’s eyes, he began to move closer to her and cupping her face with his left hand.
“But I always stopped myself to go to you though. I respected the boundaries you placed and I didn’t want to come on you like a predator of wanting just sex. So over time I’ve just imaged us again and the most pleasurable times we had together.” Misako’s face slowly turned red, Garmadon started to stroke her cheek with his hand and smiled.
“What… what’s stopping you now…?” Misako asked.
“You’re busy work life and also we’re not together again”
“We can take it slow..” Now they are both touching each others body. (Like shoulder to shoulder, not like that!!)
“Your jealous of how busy I am?” Misako giggled.
“Mhm..” Garmadon grumbled.
“Well it’s just us two here and we can always start fresh” Misako say back and stretched her arms out.

“Definitely.” Misako smiled at him and Garmadon fell into her arms and this time Misako put the first move and kissed him.

“Ugh this job sucks.” Lloyd rested on his arms while looking at the entrance of his store.
“Well no shit, no one likes fast food Lloyd.” Lloyd didn’t bother to turn his head because he knows it was Harumi.
“Why aren’t you in the back?” Lloyd asked and he heard a giggle.
“There’s no orders darling~ So I’m just bored out of my mind.” Lloyd didn’t budge at the nickname and agreed with her.
“Aren’t you on break soon?” Lloyd finally straightened himself up, looked at Harumi with his arms crossed.
“Yeah, but can’t I talk to my favourite ninja boy~” Harumi gave a peaceful smirk, not evil but peaceful.
“I thought you hated my guts.” Lloyd leaned back on the counter while giving a quick glimpse of the entrance. No one.
“Used to. But I’m slowly liking you” Harumi passed him a cup of water.
“Funny I used to like you before you hated me” Lloyd said in a whisper. Harumi didn’t catch that but didn’t budge.
“So.. You seeing anyone?” Harumi striked the question of her interest. That caught Lloyd off guard.
“Noo… wh…” Lloyd got interrupted by the manager telling him to go on break.
“I’ll ask later” Lloyd nodded and clocked on for his break.
When Lloyd was on break, he scrolled through Springram and liked a few meme posts on his feed. While he was scrolling through his feed, he was thinking about his parents. He knows that his parents will be together tonight and his father will be picking me up.
‘I wonder what’s happening on their end..’ Lloyd began to go into deep daydream.

Garmadon was now in his Oni/dragon form because how excited he is and it was Misako’s wish to see all of him again. Garmadon gently pinned Misako on the wall and passionately kissing her on the lips, slowly gaining access into her mouth and then fought with her tongue with his. As he was doing this, he slithered his hands up her thighs and played around with her.
Misako gave out a small moan and wrapped her arms around his neck. A small gasp escaped her lips. She didn’t like how Garmadon is teasing but at the same time she misses it, moments later she felt 2 of his fingers in her and squeezed her eyes shut quickly from the pleasure.
“Y..You know. I realllyyy missed all of you” Misako whispered in Garmadon’s ear and that triggered him to incert an other 2 fingeres, which lead to Misako moaning more loudly.
Garmadon chuckled at the state of Misako is in. Oh how badly he misses her and seeing her like this makes him to have Misako even more.
“Heheh… Are you ready?” Garmadon whispered in Misako’s right ears.

“Eh. I think they’ll watch sappy love dramas or whatever” Lloyd rolled his eyes and continuing scrolling through the internet.
Half an hour went by, Lloyd was about to clog back onto the floor but then heard a customer yelling at his manager. Lloyd quickly clogged back on and try to put a ‘good customer service’ face and body language.
“No restaurant I’ve been too gave our old cold fries! I would like to have some compensation about this!” A young man banged his food on the counter which splattered on the counter and got on Lloyd and his manager.
“Let me take care of this” Lloyd said to his manager with his hand on their shoulders. He could sense a relief and thanked him.
“Oh yeah go ahead and just leave it to your employees. Fucking typical.” The man said with crossing his arms together. Lloyd was already irritated.
“Sorry. Is there I could help you with?” Lloyd cleared his voice and put on his fake positive face.
“Actually yes. I would love to have a refund or get a free item of my choice.” The man smirked.
“Tell me. How long ago did you get your servings?” Lloyd asked politely.
“5 minutes ago.”
Lloyd tried his hardest of not to laugh. He blinked and saw Harumi shaking her head and was about to throw something at the customer. But instead, he picked up the fries and it was still quite hot.
“I’m sorry but these fries here are hot.” Lloyd gave Harumi a signal of making the same bunch, then he heard a scoff.
“They are cold! How dare you..” The man got cut off.
“Don’t come complaining at us employees because we are doing the right thing. So instead, I’ll give you the same bunch and be off your way ok?” Lloyd was starting to get pissed off and was ready to add more fuel to the fire.
Lloyd couldn’t make out what the man was saying but he knows it was sarcasm and also stubbornness.
“Thank you, have a good day” Lloyd bowed and he can sensed that the customer wasn’t happy, Harumi and his manager was surprised on how he dealt with the situation.
“Dang Lloyd, never knew you had some guts” Harumi clapped her hands slowly but it was an amusement one.
Lloyd rolled his eyes. “Thanks”
After a long shift, Lloyd was getting ready to leave and he saw a notification on his phone.
『Father: Hey La-loyd, I’ll be 5 minutes away see you soon!』
“La-Lloyd..” Lloyd scoffed and playfully shakes his head and put away his clothes in his cabinet, opened the change rooms.
Before he left he saw Harumi, she was typing on her phone probably to her friends.
“Bye Harumi. Have a lovely night” Lloyd smiled at her and then proceed to walk down the stairs, when he was walking down he heard her say ’goodnight’ and once he left the building he saw his father.
“Hiya dad. How’s it going?” Lloyd began a conversation when he opened the car door and closed it. Garmadon looked at him.
“Been alright, your mother has your dinner prepared for you” Garmadon heard ‘yum’ from Lloyd and chuckled.
The two of them proceeded to talk to each other on the car ride home and once they left the car to enter the building, Lloyd swore he saw a dark purple spot but he didn’t want to say anything so he kept it to himself.

“Sooohhhh… Father, Mother. What have you guys been doing when I was working?” Lloyd finished the tofu soup that his mum made.
Misako stopped washing the dishes, Garmadon was drinking tea and nearly spat it out onto the counter. The two gave each other a look and for a moment, Lloyd saw a blush forming on his mothers face.
“And why does it smell like dad was in his Oni/dragon form?” Lloyd asked.
After the two spoke to each other by eye contact, Misako rolled her eyes and went back to doing the dishes. Garmadon cleared his throat and looks at his son.
“Son before we answer, I have an important question for you.” Garmadon swang his chair to face his son. Lloyd wasn’t ready for what his dad was going to ask him but he took a deep breath and looked at his father.
“Shoot it” Llyod gulped.
“Ok so you know that myself, your uncle Wu and yourself is part Oni/Dragon?” Garmadon said it very calmly and started to fiddle with his fingers.
“Yes…”
“Ok at your age you don’t need to find love straight away but you might later on.” Garmadon sipped on his tea.
“Look Father, if you are wondering about ‘mating season’. I’m honestly fine not dating for a while and even if I do find someone, I’ll come to you or mum because I know for a fact I cannot stand of ‘heat’ at all.” Lloyd scoffed and took off his jacket and placed it on the coatrack.
Misako giggled and smiled at Lloyd. She finished the dishes and grabbed the rest of the Dinner out of the microwave for Lloyd and then smirked.
When Lloyd sat down he can sense that his Mum will talk to him about something.
“So not even Harumi…?” Misako smirked.
Silence…
“MUM!” Lloyd semi-yelled. “She’s only an acquaintance, Ma” Misako playfully rolled her eyes.
“Sure” Misako giggled. Misako guided herself to her bedroom and said goodnight to the boys. Lloyd was going to tell her mum about something he has discovered but he’ll tell her soon. So it’s just the two boys in the living room.
It was a quiet evening, the two boys has been exchanging conversation about life, jobs and even the future. Garmadon mentioned to Lloyd that he might propose to Misako in the next couple of months or a year, and hopefully this time there is no complications at all. But he’s going to think for a while though. Lloyd was happy with that, he’s down to help his father and mother so that he can have a loving family again. He has a great loving family but he wants to be one big happy family again. Living in his old childhood home so that his father won’t feel alone.
The next couple of weeks, everything has been great. Lloyd was up to his last hours of driving and thanks to his instructor that gave him notes, he was doing very well. He also had help from his parents and he can tell that they were growing closer together each time, but one evening everything all changed.
“Ma, have you seen my…” As Lloyd was walking to the living room, he saw his mother crying on the counter crying while he didn’t sense that his father was no where to be seen. Lloyd slowly walked up to her, and tapped on her shoulders.
Misako felt a hand, but quickly turned her head and saw Lloyd looking at her with a worried expression. She quickly wiped her tears and tried to straighten herself up.
“Hey Lloyd, so sorry.” Misako straightened herself up again and looks at Lloyd.
“What’s wrong mum?” Lloyd asked as he sat down next to her.
“I just miss my parents. It’s been a while since they have passed.” Misako sniffled and gripped on a photo she has in her hand. Lloyd looked over her shoulder and saw a family photo of his mum with three grown adults, Lloyd is guessing that on his mum’s left and right side is his grandparents. But he didn’t recognise the third one.
“Hey mum, who’s that guy?” Lloyd pointed out to Neruo, who was next to his grandfather. Misako looked with her eyes of where Lloyd was pointing at.
“Ohhh.. Neruo. He was a surrogate father to me. After my parents died when I was 12, Neruo took their role as a parent for me. It still pains me to this day.” Lloyd gave his mum a hug while she was telling her story.
“But after a couple of years, after I married your father, Garmadon… Neruo died to a heart stabbing attack while he was a sleep. That was after I had you. I was so excited to tell him that you were out of the hospital. But when I tried to visit him, he didn’t answer which worried me because he and I used to see each other monthly to catch up. I didn’t tell you because I wasn’t sure if you were informed or even knew about it.” Tears started to form in her eyes as she remembered that unfaithful day when she saw her father dead in his own pool of blood.

“I wonder what Neruo is up to nowadays, I tried calling him this morning to see if we are still catching up.” Misako said to herself as she was walking down her childhood street. She had Llyod with her to visit his grandpa, because he was straight out of the hospital.
Misako looks around her street, a few new houses were replaced with newer models that had different designs to the older models. Misako just hopped that her childhood home wasn’t remodelled.
“Look Llyod, this is where I grew up.” Baby Lloyd was tired to look but he did try to have a glance around his surroundings. He cried because this is all new to him, Misako giggled and patted his back and singing a lullaby.
Once they both arrived, the lights in the kitchen and the master bedroom was the only thing that was lit up. Misako found that strange because Neruo wasn’t the type of person that would leave the lights opened. Misako had this odd feeling in her chest that something was up and she doesn’t like the feeling she was getting at all. Misako took her spear key to the house and opened it, and when she opened it there was a strange smell coming upstairs.
‘Did a rat or an animal die here?’ Misako thought to herself. She closed the door behind her and started to look around for this said ‘dead animal’ and wondered around the place. She checked the living room, bathroom, the sink cabinet and some of the drawers. The sickening feeling was growing and she was not ready to look upstairs.
Baby Lloyd started to cry because he didn’t like the smell whatsoever, Misako looked at him and quickly went to the garden at the back which was smelling fine. Misako was panicking a little and rocked baby Lloyd back and forth, and grabbed her phone and phoned Garmadon.
‘Pick up, pick up!!’ Misako walked around in circles while baby Lloyd was playing with the grass and saw a flower and gave it to his mum. Misako stopped walking in circles and gave baby Lloyd a kiss on the forehead.
“Thank you, honey” Misako smiled and then she heard Garamdon’s husky overworked voice.
“Garm! Ok I need you as soon as possible, Neruo isn’t anywhere and I need you here because I can smell a dead animal in the house. I don’t want to continue looking around becuase Lloyd doesn’t like the smell whatsoever. Are you able to leave work?” Misako asked Garmadon and when she was asking him, she didn’t even once take a breath because everything is going super quickly.
“Misako, my love. Take a deep breath.. I will be happily to meet you and Lloyd. Where are you?” Before Misako responded, she could hear him packing his bag and heard him groan in tiredness. She was going to apologise but before she did Garmadon stopped her.
“Please don’t apologise. I missed you lot and La-Lloyd.” Misako softly giggled at the nickname that Garmadon gave Lloyd.
“Ok.. We’re at Neuro’s house it’s in the same neighbourhood I grew up with but I will send the address now.. we’re in the backyard. Thank you again, and I love you” Misako picked up Lloyd with her arms while the phone was on her shoulders near her ear so that she doesn’t drop the phone while picking up Lloyd.
“I love you too.” Garmadon told Misako back. Then she hanged up on him and put her phone in her pockets.
An hour passed and Garmadon arrived to Neruo’s house. He told Misako to stay in the back and call the authorities but luckily for him, she did and they are at least 10 minutes away. Garmadon got there before them but she only called them only half an hour before. Misako told them about the situation and they will send the ambulance and the police together to investigate.
“Ok, the master bedroom is locked. That’s where the smell is coming from.” Garmadon told one of the police offers.
“How would you know that?” They asked him. Garmadon chuckled.
“Well Alex, I am part oni and dragon, I can detect the smell easily. The smell itself seems like a dead animal but what I Believe it was a cover up for whoever murder my wife’s father.” Garmadon slowly shifted to his form and began to walk slowly backwards. Then suddenly he rammed into the door and saw Neruo’s eyes opened, his body covered in blood and saw the dead animal on top of him to cover the smell.
“Oh shit. I’m going to vomit” Alex saw the scene and nearly gagged themself.
“This is quite disgusting. And if you do need to vomit I believe the bathroom downstairs hasn’t been touched. You are welcomed to use that if you wish to” Alex quickly nodded and sped-walked down the stairs.
Another cop came in, and what she saw was disgusting. She grabbed a set of gloves and mask from her small pockets and handed another set to Garmadon.
“I’ll grab the dead…. Rat..” Garmadon told the woman, and she nodded her head. Once he did, the woman examined the stabbed victim and saw that not only he was stabbed in the heart, he was also stabbed in the throat.
“Poor man.. Can you grab Dylan and Kacy. They need to get him to the hospital asasp. But I know for sure that this poor lad here was trying to call your wife, because when opening the phone it has no password but he was going to send a message to her. Here Garmadon.” Before Garamdon left he took the phone from the woman and saw the message.

Before it was sent: I cannot wait to see you and Lloyd after his release from hospital. If I am not awake form your morning phone calls I might be sleeping in because I had a pretty late night. But I am very excited to see you both. 😊

Hiya! Ever so sorry again with the 6 months hiatus. Like this year alone has been a hella of a rollercoaster, had to deal with personals issues and now trying to finishing this series. I have a lot more to this story so it’s not going to end like what next chapter. Don’t worry. My goal is to finish this story by the end of this year or beginning of next year.

The funeral was a ceremony celebration of Neruo’s life, achievements and accomplishments. The sky was gloomy as the rain pours down on the group of people. Most of Neruo’s alive relatives were surrounding Misako and was all grieving.
At the very back of the crowd, Garamdon was holding baby Lloyd in his arms and was watching as the coffin went down and slowly covering with dirt. Garmadon saw Misako and the relatives crying heavily because of how deeply they missed him.
As the funeral commence, the relatives all say their goodbyes and shared some stories about Neruo, some were his early stages of life and some where his stories from Adulthood. When it was time for Misako to say her goodbyes, Garmadon was right next to her, trying to be there for her and all of the relatives.
Misako was ready, she was still shaking but was ready to say her goodbyes and how much she loved Neruo.

“So how long do you think this break would last Garmadon?” Ray asked Garmadon as he did Kai’s diaper. Once he finished changing the diaper there was a bin right next to the table and used his foot to open it.
“It’s really up to Misako, honestly. Ever since her father died, she has been very different. Like she stopped doing her research and was slowly like rotting in bed all the time. No motivation for anything.” Garmadon leaned on the wall, he watched as baby Kai giggling. Ray picked Kai up and turned to face Garmadon.
“What about you? Breaks are not just one person thing, it’s both of you guys. What you want in a relationship and your future.” The two men exited the room and headed towards the living room.
“I… I haven’t really thought about that. Master Chen says if Misako really loves me and wants a future, try to date other people. Which honestly is a no for me, because why the fuck would you go on a break to see another person?! Try to make the relationship better if we see others. And I’m pretty bloody sure Misako wouldn’t do that.” Garmadon gritted his teeth, Ray knew and saw Garmadon getting more angry because of the thought of Misako dating other men.
“Maya told me, don’t tell her this becuase she will actually kill me that I told you this.” Ray placed Kai down on the floor, baby Kai started to crawl towards Garmadon.
“Basically, Misako is not dating or seeing anyone so you can remain calm but she is trying to find her true spark. Like something she’s very passionate about. It might take longer after the break but like, she is trying new things like painting, crafting or even like a manager in retail. But I haven’t heard much since last week.” Kai finally reached Garmadon’s legs and started to tug on it. Trying to get Garmadon’s attention.
“Mn.” Garmadon stares down at Kai.
“Loosen up, try to find what you want also. Maybe start a business, you always wanted to be a CEO of something.” Ray relaxed his head on the top of the couch.
Garmadon didn’t say much but picked up Kai, Kai grabbed one of Garmadon’s ears.
“Welf Man Ef man!” Kai giggled as he tugged on Garmadon’s ears. Garmadon growled at Kai because how hard he is tugging on the ears.
“That’s right Kai, that is an Elf man” Ray cat grinned.
“I hate you” Garmadon mouthed to Ray, and Ray just rolled his eyes.
“Love you too buddy” Ray laughed.
Whilest the two men were chatting about life again, watching baby Kai as well. Maya had plans to take our Misako for a girls night out.
“Mmnnn.. Maya, why are you here?” Misako looked up and down at her friend as she sleep deprived.
“Well, I want you to go out with me and the girls tonight! You need it especially on how hard you are putting yourself through as of right now.” Maya pushed herself in and saw the state of Misako’s temporary home.
“Who says, I am perfectly fine.” Misako crossed her arms, and just glared at her friend who is sorta cleaning her mess.
“Bull crap, get cleaned and we’re going out. I already told the girls to meet here so we can go as a group.” Maya picked up a few dishes off the floor and walked over to the sink, placing the dishes down.
“Yeah no.” Misako began to walk away as she felt water rushing to her legs. Chaining her to stay where she is.
“Really? Usuing your elemental now?” Misako just stared at her friend.
“Yes, yes I am. Now I’ll let you go once you’d tell me you are going to go get ready.”
“Ugh. Fine” Misako rolled her eyes and feels the chains finally getting loosen and she headed towards her room.
When Misako left the room, Maya just looked around the place and started to clean this mess up. Still surprised that both Garmadon and Misako still saw each other because of Lloyd. But she didn’t ask or question about the relationship because the two are on break, and also Misako is still trying to find herself.
After an hour, Misako was ready to go. She had her hair up into two separate buns, and wearing a black and green cocktail dress. She also had small make up on, just a blush and eyeliner.
“Dang girl, trying to get your man back?” Maya teased her as she looked up and down at Misako.
“Har har har. No I’m not and sides I’ll be seeing him next week anyways.” Misako rolls her eyes.
“But then you saw him earlier this week, which doesn’t make sense because like you guys aren’t supposed to see each other during the breaks.” Maya pointed it out, the other girls in the room didn’t say much because it’s not their place to say.
“Well we are doing just fine, Maya. It’s not a big deal.” Misako eyed her friend. Maya just looked at her friend and just raised her hands in surrender.

‘Drugs & Money - New mix’ started to play at the clubs as all of the girls finsihed getting ID from the guards at the front door. Misako, Lily and Edna were looking around, saw many creatures dancing with each other. Some were erotic but they do not judge. Maya on the other hand started to go to the bar and gestured all the girls to follow her.
“Maya you do realise I cannot drink right?” Edna said as she sat down next to Misako who was next to Maya.
“Yeah I know, they just don’t sell alcohol right? They have other drinks.” Maya laughed.
“and it has been a while since we all gone out as an girls night out.” Lily pointed it out, she ordered a shot of vodka. Misako just only ordered a glass of coke which was $7 and that was just for a small glass. What a rip off. Maya ordered ‘Sex on the beach’, and Edna got a glass of water for the start.
“$7 for a small cup of Coke, what a joke” Misako scoffed as she drank the $7 coke.
“That’s the clubs for you. Some bartenders are shocked you guys only ordered coke or even water. Clubbers here and there always orders alcohol.” Maya thanked the bartender as she looked over to her friends.
“I mean what, back in the day you were a huge party girl Maya, including you Lilly and Edna. What changed?” Misako asked the two ladies, the two girls looked at Misako.
“Love, and also promises” the two responded.
After the DJ played Drugs & money, the songs continued with E.T from Katy Perry, It’s ok, I’m ok from Tate McRae, Heartbeat from Childish Gambino and many others.
After a couple of hours, the ladies spend the rest of their time on the dance floor. Dancing alongside each other. They have been hit on but they all showed their proud wedding rings and were happily married to their love of their lives.
“Tsk what a joke, why are you here in the clubs if you guys are married. Aren’t you supposed to make dinner for your husbands and only be a house wife. What a joke” One of the guys that hit on them snickered. And then the other guys followed along and just started being total sexist morons.
“Wanna know something my husband thought me?” Misako smiled innocently, as she walked up towards the main sexist idiot.
“Sure sweetheart.” He grinned, lowing his head to meet her face.
Everyone heard the next music, All night (ft. Trevor Jackson).
‘So I'm just gonna go all night, sick of feeling so out of place. I'm always stuck on the sidelines, feeling like I could be replaced. So I'm just gonna go’ The song started to play and when the beat drops, Misako punched the guy in the face.
“Before you start being a sexist prick, why not look in the mirror on how ugly you are. Especially your perosnality, I do not know any gender, or creature would ever love someone like you if you treat others like garbage.” Misako shook her hand because it was sore a bit, but was ready to blow another hit. She looked over to the rest of the men who was slowly backing away.
“If any of you guys start again to harass me and my girls, I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my husband here who in fact is a powerful creature and wouldn’t hesitate to murder you all. He is very overprotective, if he’s busy I wouldn’t hesitate to call the authorities and press charges for sexual harassment and assault.” Misako rammed into her purse to grab pepper spray and her mobile. Preparing herself.
“Slut” the bloodied man said as he retreated to the restroom. All the girls saw what Misako did and ran towards her, looking at her bloodied fist.
“I’m fine, sides are you ok? Especially you Lils” misako turned to face her friend with worry in her eyes. Misako cupped Lily’s hands with hers and brought them close to her chest.
“Yes I’m ok. Thank you for that Misa” Lily smiled at her, tightening the strength of the hand holding.
For the rest of the night, the girls left the clubs around 1am to grab a midnight snack at ‘Chen’s noodles’.

“Going forward, I feel like this is the very last chance I’ll give to us. If this does happen again, it might be a break up if it happens but I believe we’ll go past this stage at some point and be happy again.” Garmadon looked at Misako as she was slowly tearing up.
“Look. I know you initiated it and I’ve been doing some thinking, and I realised that we needed a break sooner then later. But I am happy for you that you are going to get better for yourself and for our relationship.” Garmadon smiled at her, trying to reassure her that everything will be ok.
“But please never do what you did. That was something I didn’t know. Like I didn’t see this side of you before, and it was getting to the point that I didn’t recognise you at all. But I’m happy that you realised your mistakes.” Garmadon took a drink of his long black coffee.
“I love you Misako, and nothing will ever change ok?” Garamdon stood up and walked over to Misako’s seat and hugged her from behind. Misako couldn’t hold the tears no longer and balled out.
“I’m scared…” Misako said with a shaky voice, and trying to keep herself together but fails every time.
“I’m here for you, please just reach out for help if you need anything. Ok?” Garamdon looked at Misako in her eyes. Misako nodded.
“Good.” Garmadon smiled and then kissed her.

“Garmadon, honey?” Misako looked around the house as she came out to the kitchen to look for her husband and Lloyd. She wanted to ask Garmadon about something but he was no where downstairs, so she went upstairs to check if he was in their bedroom or with Lloyd.
“Garmadon?” Misako opened the door and saw a sleeping Garmadon hugging baby Lloyd. She smiled at the sight, walked over where Lloyds crochet blanket she made and went back to the boys, putting the blanket over them. Misako leaned down and kissed both of their heads and closed the door behind her.
Around 8 in the evening, Garmadon woken up by a crying baby Lloyd, crying for food. Garmadon didn’t know what to do, so he panicked and picked Lloyd up, then proceeds to rush downstairs to find Misako laying food on the table.
Misako looked at Garmadon with a confused look becuase she heard the door swang opened and heard heavy footsteps.
“Are… Is everything ok?” Misako placed down the last bowl of rice, straightening herself up. Misako walked over to the crying Lloyd and a stressed out Garmadon.
“H..he’s crying.. I do not know why.” Garamdon looks at her with tired eyes. Misako smiled and reached over to grab the crying child.
“Go sit down for dinner Garm-honey. I’ll breastfeed him now.” Misako gestured him to the table and start the dinner without her.
Garamdon nodded and walked over to the dinner table, and Misako went over to the lounge room and started to breastfeed Lloyd.
By the end of the night, Misako has put Lloyd to bed in his baby room with a lullaby that he dearly likes and plays for the next 6 hours. When Misako returned from Lloyd’s room, she saw Garmadon looking down at something.
“What are you looking at?” Misako asked him, Garamdon looked over and hand over the photo he has found.
“Been looking through some files I have saved over the years and I found some photos of Neruo. Especially some with your parents as well, I think Neruo has kept them safe for you for a while now and when I was looking through some of the boxes that his relatives gave to us. I found these for you.” As Garmadon was speaking, Misako looked at the photos and smiled at them.
“Thank you for these, Garmadon” Misako smiled and then kissed his cheek.
