Chapter Text
I have little memory of that day, almost none at all. All I really remember is the feeling of being left, all alone (with an owl) on an Island I had never seen before then. That feeling, that moment, has never left me. I don’t think it ever will. Maybe I don’t want to. The past hurts, like the truth, I try to avoid thinking about it as much as I can; but it’s nearly impossible.
“…help…please…”
“NO... don’t…”
“…I… be alone.”
Shadow’s head snapped up suddenly, pupils widening then returning to the right size. A growl tears its way through his throat. He doesn’t remember what happened. But he doesn’t care. None of it matters. Not anymore. There is a need that has appeared, burning inside of his heart. Nothing will stop him from getting what he wants. And what he wants… is to escape this planet. To go… he doesn’t remember where actually… whatever. Doesn’t matter. We’ll cross that bridge when we get there. For now, escape is imminent. His hand shoots toward the bulletproof glass of the container that he has been trapped in for so many years. He should have escaped sooner, really. Never mind that he was unconscious, he woke up now, that’s no excuse. He flat palms the glass and it instantly shatters raining down on the unfortunate metal floor beneath the container. The liquid that had joined him in this prison followed the path of least resistance, flowing out of the previously seemingly impenetrable tube and pooling around its base. Shadow snarls. Then vanishes in a whirlwind of lightning and orange smoke.
Notes:
sorry I changed it, just got another burst of inspiration that was too similar to just create something else, plus it was way better developed than the other one.

Chapter Text
One of the greatest mysteries of this world, is one that we just don’t talk about. We leave it on the shelf, over it up— lest our minds discover the horrid truth.
Sonic the Hedgehog, one of the greatest and most well known heroes in history; but do we ever really wonder where the story started? Or do we let ourselves get to caught up in the tales and legends to wonder; where did he come from?
you can look for years, centuries even; but there is one thing that you will never find. The hedgehog’s full story. We never learn about his past, at least not much of it, who were his childhood friends? His parents? Did he have siblings?
If you have ever wondered this, then you are in luck, you’re about to find out. But be prepared, it’s not a pretty story.
Chapter 3: The Story Begins
Summary:
Exactly what the title says.

Chapter Text
It was ten years before Sonic started his fight against Eggman. Back when the only heroes, were the ones no one saw. The Agency, it was known as. For the true name was unknown. Its members were lethal, and silent; their names and information kept under lock and key, but none was as carefully protected as the information of one lone warrior hedgehog. Aadhar. Aadhar was a mysterious character, not even The Agency knew where he came from; he had no weaknesses and strictly works alone. His methods can get questionable, but he gets the job done.
If he was not a part of The Agency, then Dr. Robertson would have destroyed all Möbius years before. The Agency highly respected Aadhar for his work in their cause.
At least, they used to.
Agent Aadhar knelt on the gravel, red, demonic, eyes watching the guardsman patrol on the strange metal Headquarters. Waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
These moments, the time of anticipation, when he knew exactly what was about to happen; but his adversary didn’t even know he was there. These were his favorite moments in a job.
The guard turns, striking up a conversation with his comrades; Aadhar smirks, then leaps.
“No. No, no, no, NO!” Aadhar thought, horror ripping through to his very soul. “Not him, please not him!” But it was, nothing could change that fact; it was his only weakness, his little brother. Arvan.
