Act 3 But Depressing (beta)

Sooo I'm just gonna be frank here
It's somewhere between the Der Freischütz opera and the Lobotomy Corp version of the story. ie, everything goes horribly wrong. Because why would I just let them have a happy ending why on earth would I ever do that :,)

Notes:

~• Note: I am eventually planning on remaking this comic, now that I've come a lot farther and have a better grasp on what I want to do with the characters and world. This will stand as a sort of first draft, though. •~

~• Additional note: Idk if this matters to anyone but I now consider this a sort of.. an AU of the AU that most of the other things I'm writing/will write take place in. Just to make that clear. Offshoot operaverse, that's what this is. Not to be confused with other, very similar-looking Main Operaverse. •~

This picks up in the middle of the story of the opera. Hopefully you should be able to understand what's going on without knowledge of that, but if you have the time and patience, I'd recommend watching/reading/listening to at least the first two acts for the context. And also just because I like it a lot in its own right. There's plenty of translations out there; take your pick. Or if you're feeling extra german you could go for the original that works too.
For those of you who are familiar with the opera's story, basically everything goes as normal up until the start of act three, except with a few tweaks. Namely, I'm taking out Ottokar cause that's one less character to deal with, and I'm taking out the hermit because he's the reason things went relatively okay in the first place. And also, Max didn't chicken out at the top of the hill this time :P other than that though it's pretty much the same.

Let it be known that I don't know jack shit about guns. Or 17th century german fashion. Nor do I really care. I'm pulling these designs out of my ass (aside from max, to an extent) and I do what I want
