??? (2): “GAHHH!! WHO THE HELL?!”
???: “Wo-Whoa! Come on! I don’t-”
??? (2): “STATE YOUR NAME!”
???: “M-My name?! Why are you overreacting to begin with when nothing has happened?”
??? (2): “You… sorry, never mind I did just overreact.”
The light clears up
???: “Now that you have calmed down, my name is Shuichi Saihara. And yours?”
??? (2): “My… My name is Hajime Hinata.”
Shuichi: “Where exactly are we..?”
Hajime: “Somewhere, that’s for sure. This appears to be some sort of room. But, you seem familiar…”
Shuichi: “I do?”
Hajime: “Where have I seen you…?”
Shuichi: “(I just stared at him with worry as he kept examining me but soon that just stopped. We looked at each other as Hajime went for the door. )”
Hajime: “Might as well just take a look at what is outside, surely it’s nothing that bad.”
Shuichi: “Is that a good idea?”
Hajime: “We just got to check, we’re just seemingly here for no reason.”
Shuichi: “(I followed Hajime out of the door and just… looked outside to… )”
Shuichi: “A sky?”
Hajime: “Where are we even?”
Shuichi: “This does seem to be a sky of some sort-”
???: “WELCOME! WELCOME!!!”
Shuichi: “GAH! WH-WHAT-”
???: “Welcome! Welcome! You’ve come to the Hero Islands! My name is Monokists! I’m going to be your tour guide!”
Hajime: “A… fox?”
Monokists: “Correct! Mr. Monokists!”
Shuichi: “You're… weird.”

Monokists: “Welcome, welcome everyone!”
Shuichi: “What the hell are we doing on this island?”
Monokists: “You were one of the twenty-six people invited to the Hero Islands! As well as the Academy of Heroes!”
Hajime: “So… why are we on this island?”
Monokists: “Well that’s because the academy is hosted on this island! I’ll be more than happy to help you get introduced with everyone!”
Shuichi: “So there’s more people here.”
Monokists: “Right you are! Let’s get going everyone!”
Shuichi: “(The fox happily walked ahead as Hajime and I just stared at one another. Were we just dreaming? Also the fox was… a robot it seemed like. )”
Hajime: “Come on, maybe we’ll find some familiar folks.”
Shuichi: “(We followed the fox around the island. There were the dorms and the dining hall but he really wanted us to find where everyone else was gathered up. )”
Hajime: “This place isn’t as bad-”
Shuichi: “I cannot believe you’re adjusting already.”
Hajime: “What? I don’t want to feel uncomfortable forever…”
Shuichi: “Regardless… We just need to keep following this fox around the entire island. This place is definitely not what I suspected to happen.”
Shuichi: “( As we continued following the fox I just got overwhelmed with the whole tropical setting. Mr. Monokists was a kind fellow but how do I know that for sure and that he isn’t going to do anything ridiculous? Hajime was somewhat content with this while I? I was just tired. But then… we saw everyone. )”
Monokists: “I have gathered all the students together and-”
The others: “SHUICHI?!”
Shuichi: “T-Team Hero?!”
Hajime: “What?!”

ISLAND OF HEROES AND DESPAIR
PROLOGUE
??? (1): “Shuichi! Thank goodness you’re okay! We were all so worried about you since this fox creature was shoving us around.”
Monokits: “That’s very rude you know! But the point is that this island is something for us to live on!”
Shuichi: “For… us to live on? We don’t even-”
Monokists: “Nonsense! You heroes all deserve a well deserved break!”
Hajime: “Did you… mistake me for a hero?”
??? (2): “He’s right! After all, you were kicked off the team!”
Hajime: “Excuse me… but huh?”
Shuichi: “I…”
??? (3): “Forget it, he’s not going to care.”
Monokists: “Attention all students! May I gather your attention everyone!”
Shuichi: “What is it?”
Monokists: “Well, you all. You all seem to be here; I think we should all get to know each other.”
??? (4): “We already do know each other though.”
Monokists: “Also, you’re all wearing just some academy uniforms. I think we should change that up but I have to do a couple of things beforehand.”
Shuichi: “Like… what?”
Monokists: “Well our introductions even though you all know each other. As well as revealing your talents, as we like to call them, Hero Levels!”
??? (1): “Reveal our talents… Do we even have any of that to begin with? And Hero Levels…? What does that mean?”
Monokists: “I mean you’re all heroes, you should know that you all will! Just know that…”
??? (5): “Wh-What are you even talking about?”
Monokists: “So, we’re a tropical resort alongside an academy. All of you are wearing academy uniforms right now. Therefore, I think I got a good idea of what to do. You should be dressed in your actual uniforms!”
Hajime: “A-Actual uniforms? What are we talking about remotely?”
Monokists: “I don’t think any of you are understanding me.”
??? (6): “Of course we aren't, you aren’t making any sense.”
Monokists: “Okay here, just… change into these uniforms. You’re familiar with them right?”
Shuichi: “( We just stared at each other in silence as Monokists just ran off to grab some uniforms. I just… didn’t know what to say. What… was going on? )”
Hajime: “Shuichi, do you understand the situation?”
Shuichi: “Not at all… I wish I did.”
Shuichi: “( Maybe I will… eventually… )”
Monokists: “Okay! Here are your uniforms!”
Shuichi: “( He threw the uniforms over one by one and they were all in boxes. Each of them has our names on there. )”
Hajime: “Do we just change into these?”
Monokists: “Yep! I can lead you all to your dorms in order to get changed!”
Shuichi: “( And so, he led the group over to our dorms. They were like little homes to some degree but they were just definitely living spaces for us. We just stared at one another wondering what was going on. Then we each went into our dorms. I went into mine and just stared down at the box. I opened it up and immediately recognized the uniform. This was the one uniform I wore all the time. Huh, I wonder why I wasn’t wearing that from the beginning.
I got dressed into it and felt a lot more familiar and comfortable with myself. I wanted to examine the dorm room a little but knew everyone else would soon be finished. Eventually, I heard the sounds of an announcement go off. )”
???: “Ahem, good day everyone! This is your secretary headmaster speaking, Mr. Monokists! Now, I’m certain you’re all done changing so head on over to the beachside location where we all were! Thank you!
Shuichi: Already…”
Shuichi: “( I felt a wave of just fear overwhelm my body. There was something strange about that announcement. Something ominous was hiding amongst that voice. Apparently, Monokists was just a secretary headmaster… So he is the headmaster in this regard? I’m… so confused. Once I walked my way to the beachside, a few people were already there. )”
??? (1): “Shuichi! There you are.”
Shuichi: “Glad to see you. This entire place just feels… god awful.”
??? (1): “Yeah I know, it’s scaring me quite a bit but, I’m sure we’re going to gather some answers.”
Shuichi: “( Soon everyone else arrived and we just stood there staring at each other in silence. Waiting for Monokists to appear. But then… )”
??? (2): “Another… fox?”
Hajime: “That’s certainly not Monokists…”
??? (3): “Hello! Hello my wonderful and sweet heroes! I am your headmaster speaking Monokitsune!”
??? (4): “Monokitsune?!”
Monokitsune: “Yep that’s me! I’m a fox as you couldn’t tell, but that should be obvious given that you met my brother already!”
Shuichi: “What… are you doing here?”
Monokitsune: “Like I said, I’m the headmaster of the hero islands! I’m glad everyone is dressed properly for the occasion!”
Monokists: “You betcha!”
Hajime: “W-What the?!”
Shuichi: “Hajime…”
Monokitsune: “Regardless of that, something is odd about all of you. Ah that’s right! You’re supposed to have your memories wiped!”
??? (5): “Memories wiped? What are you talking about?!”
??? (6): “She’s obviously trying to make us forget one another so whatever is going on will go smoothly.”
Monokitsune: “Aww, are you trying to appear tough? Because it won’t work! Now everyone, I need you to all stand still and…”
Shuichi: “(S ome of the group started to back away but soon it was too late. )”
“(Everything went to black.)”

Shuichi: “Ngh… my head is spinning. Where exactly am… I?”
???: “GAH! WHO ARE YOU?!”
Shuichi: “W-Who are you?!”
???: “My name is Hajime Hinata! Name yourself now!”
Shuichi: “Shuichi Saihara… there’s no reason for panic!”
Hajime: “How certain are you… you and I are just… in this room seemingly for no reason.”
Shuichi: “I’m trying to remember what occurred but nothing is actually making sense to me. It’s all hazy, it’s like nearly everything I know is hazy.”
Hajime: “How strange… I feel similar in a way.”
Shuichi: “We should look around to see if anyone-”
Shuichi: “( Then I heard the sounds of some sort of radio turning on. )”
???: “Attention! Attention! May I have your attention everyone! Wonderful, welcome to the Hero Islands! I want you all to gather on the beachside next to the island restaurant! Everything will be explained there!”
Shuichi: “Who… was that?”
Hajime: “Sounded serious. We better head out.”
Shuichi: “( We walked out of our room and appeared just to witness sunlight. It was strangely daunting as I continued walking down the pathway to the beachside. Hajime kept looking around to see if there was anyone we recognized but nothing. Once we got to the beachside everyone was waiting there.)”
??? (1): “W-Who are you guys?!”
Shuichi: “Who are you all anyways?!”
??? (2): “Well none of us know each other, so… we’re just all going to ask each other names or… something?”
??? (3): “Nope!”
??? (2): “GAH!! WHO ARE YOU?!”
??? (3): “My name is Monokists! Glad to see all the students are all gathered here!”
??? (4): “We’re all graduated, not even students.”
Monokists: “Is that so? Most interesting! But anyways, I’m glad you’re all here as I am your tour guide!”
Hajime: “Tour guide?”
Monokists: “Yep! For the Hero Islands! So now, we're all gathered here. Let’s see what life has in store for you all.”
??? (5): “Can’t we look around in peace?!”
??? (1): “I don’t want a fox following me. It feels… weird.”
Monokists: “Oh how saddening. Fine! You can explore on your own but get to know each other at least!”
Shuichi: “( I stood there staring at Monokists as the rest of the group disbanded in different directions. All I was there with was Hajime, and he was a stranger to me. I didn’t know anything about him… or anything about anyone for that matter. What brought me here? And who is… everyone else? )”

Shuichi: “We’re all heroes here; do you know your hero level?”
Hajime: “Mine?”
Shuichi: “Yeah, it’s what we’re supposedly good at, something heroic I guess?”
Hajime: “Huh.”
Shuichi: “Like mine, I’m Shuichi Saihara Hero Level Detective.”

Hajime: “Huh, okay. Uhm…”
Hajime: “My name is Hajime Hinata, Hero Level Hope.”

Shuichi: “Hero Level Hope?!”
Hajime: “Yeah, that’s the one I remember the most.”
Shuichi: “I-Impressive…”
Hajime: “Yeah, but that’s enough about me. Let’s go search around and see if we see anyone. Ask how they are and what their names and hero levels are.”
Shuichi: “Good idea. Where should we go first?”
Hajime: “Hm… let’s just take a look around the island first.”
Shuichi: “( Me and Hajime headed out to search around for any places. The first place we went to check out was the dorm and restaurant area. From there I saw two people talking to one another. A blue haired guy talking to… what appeared to be an octopus humanoid. )”
Shuichi: “Hello, sorry to bother you two.”
??? (1): “Oh no worries! We were just having a friendly chat with one another.”
??? (2): “Yes, are you curious about something?”
Shuichi: “Not a whole lot, just how are you two doing in this… setting?”
??? (1): “Leaves me a bit nervous, I’m not too used to dealing with water all over the place but luckily there’s bridges to help ease the worries a little!”
??? (2): “I’m just conflicted about everything. What brought us here and I’m still trying to get everyone’s names.”
Hajime: “Interesting, I’m still trying to adjust as well. Everything is just all wild and weird to me.”
Shuichi: “Same here, speaking of names. What are your names?”
??? (1): “Oh! My name is Agent 8, Hero Level Tester!”

Shuichi: “Tester?”
Agent 8: “I mean I work on testing a lot of things. It just became what I was best known for. I don’t know why either but hey it’s nothing that bad!”
Hajime: “Interesting to know. Hope you’ll do well.”
Agent 8: “How sweet!”
??? (2): “I’ll go then, my name is Chrom Lowell, Hero Level Exalt.”

Hajime: “An Exalt?”
Chrom: “Yes, that is a role I have back home.”
Shuichi: “Interesting, you must mean a lot to the people in order to have such a title.”
Chrom: “Well yes, I do. I do everything I can to help all those who are in need of help.”
Shuichi: “That’s very sweet of you.”
Chrom: “Always want to follow the steps of my elder sister.”
Agent 8: “Anyways, there’s still a lot to explore if you’re curious! We just started!”
Chrom: “Yes, hope you two do well in your journey.”
Hajime: “Ah, thank you.”
Agent 8: “One more thing.”
Hajime: “What’s that?”
Chrom: “There is an academy across the fox statue, there is a bridge that leads up to it. Pretty sure there’s some other things there.”
Shuichi: “Is that so…”
Agent 8: “We need to check it out ourselves but pretty sure you’ll find some people over there!”
Shuichi: “Thanks for the insight Chrom and Eight. A-Ah… sorry for calling you eight…”
Agent 8: “Don’t worry about it! I don’t mind!”
Shuichi: “Very well… then… see you guys another time.”
Chrom: “To you as well.”
Shuichi: “( Me and Hajime waved goodbye to the two as we made our way to the restaurant and there were three people there. They were all in a group talking to one another and soon me and Hajime approached them. )”
Shuichi: “Hey…”
??? (1): “Oh! Hello there!”
??? (2): “Nice to meet you! Who are you two?”
Shuichi: “Shuichi Saihara and Hajime Hinata.”
??? (3): “Interesting… What brings you guys around?”
Hajime: “Just trying to meet everyone. We don’t want to bother you guys a lot; just trying to get friendly meetings for everyone here.”
??? (1): “Very well, my name is Furina De Fontaine, Hero Level Supreme Justice!”

Hajime: “Quite the role you have there. That’s interesting.”
Furina: “Glad to hear you guys are interested! But don’t worry whenever anything comes to the law I’ll be able to do what I can do to make it all fair!”
??? (2): “That’s wonderful to hear. You seem promising.”
Furina: “I will make you all proud!”
??? (2): “I’ll go next! My name is Sonic The Hedgehog! Hero Level Speedster!”

Hajime: “Do you enjoy doing track a lot?”
Sonic: “Yeah, but I do a lot of races in my free time. Mostly on my own but trust me, I’m hella fast!”
Shuichi: “Wow… guess it does fit you.”
Furina: “You should’ve seen him! He was running around the whole island so rapidly! He came back within a minute!”
Hajime: “That fast?”
Sonic: “Yep! Now watch and learn.”
Shuichi: “( Sonic zipped off like the wind carried him. Amazing, I wish I had that amount of speed.)”
??? (3): “While he is running around, I should introduce myself. My name is Link, Hero Level Warrior.”
LINK, HERO LEVEL WARRIOR
Sonic: “BACK! What did I miss?”
Furina: “Just Link making his introduction.”
Shuichi: “That was incredibly fast! Goodness…”
Sonic: “Eh, it’s not a lot! It’s just something that was given to me!”
Hajime: “That’s wow… incredible!”
Shuichi: “Link was it? Are you a warrior for a place?"
Link: “Yes, I am from Hyrule and I am quite important over there.”
Shuichi: “Hyrule… I’m certain I’ve heard of it.”
Link: “It’s a famous place so that’s a given.”
Shuichi: “Fair assessment. Well glad to have met you all.”
Furina: “Leaving so soon?"
Shuichi: “Unfortunately, I got places to be so I can meet everyone. There’s a big group of people.”
Hajime: “I do too.”
Furina: “I wish you both good luck!”
Shuichi: “Thank you.”
Shuichi: “( Me and Hajime wished them a goodbye as we walked our way down the pathway once more. We just continued walking there and then started making our way to another part of the island. From this part of the island, there was a supermarket. We got there and saw someone in there. )”
Hajime: “Hello, how are you?”
???: “I’m doing fine, thank you for asking.”
Shuichi: “Sorry to come out of nowhere, what’s your name? That’s all we’ll bother you for.”
???: “… M-My name is… Marianne Von Edmund. Hero Level Tamer.”

Shuichi: “Are you an animal tamer?”
Marianne: “Correct, I am. I love animals and just want to keep them safe.”
Hajime: “Aww that’s sweet to hear.”
Marianne: “Heh, glad to hear. Sorry… I’m not very good with conversations.”
Shuichi: “Not to worry, we’ll leave you be.”
Shuichi: “( That was a quick conversation but I don’t wish to leave people nervous. So we continued onward and from there we made it to the next section of the island. And with that, we found a couple of people standing around while heading onto the next part. There were just two this time around. )”
???: “How are you getting accustomed to the place?”
??? (2): “I’m having a bit of a hard time myself, but I’m certain as more time passes I’ll be able to do just fine!”
Shuichi: “Hello you two, we’re just walking around asking for introductions from people.”
???: “Oh look at that! New people!”
Hajime: “Haha, yep. What are your names?”
???: “My name is Kaede Akamastu, Hero Level Pianist!”

Shuichi: “That’s… cool.”
Kaede: “What are yours?”
Shuichi: “I’m just the Hero Level Detective.”
Kaede: “Ooh cool! Heh, I'm just a pianist.”
Shuichi: “…You’re interesting”
Hajime: “Are you growing an interest already?!”
Shuichi: “W-What?! No, that's crazy talk! I’m not-”
Kaede: “Hehe. You go ahead and have your fun. How about you, the one with the brown hair?”
Hajime: “And I’m the Hero Level Hope…”
??? (2): “Wow, hope?! You must be very important in order to achieve such a title! My name is Micaiah, Hero level Healer.”
MICAIAH, HERO LEVEL HEALER
Shuichi: “Being a healer must be really helpful for us.”
Micaiah: “Yeah, I can help anyone who ends up getting injured!”
Shuichi: “Yeah, that’ll help a lot given our circumstances. I’m still trying to figure that out.”
Kaede: “I as well, I don’t know what brought us here.”
Hajime: “Yeah. But we’re going to find a way to find answers.”
Shuichi: “Anyways, we got to head out. See you all later.”
Kaede: “Goodbye!”
Shuichi: “( Something about their energies seemed to get me a lot more excited. We were going to take a break from the island and began our way to the academy. As we crossed the bridge you could hear the waves crashing gently. It was calming but I couldn't get accustomed to anything. Why are we here and what brought us here? )”
Hajime: “The academy setting… This place feels rather ominous.”
Shuichi: “It does, it feels less light-hearted compared to the island. Let’s see if anyone is here.”
Shuichi: “(We looked around the area and we first went to the dining hall. There was someone eating a meal and another group talking with each other. We first went to the group since we didn’t want to disturb the one eating.)”
Shuichi: “Hello you two, we’re just here for some quick introductions.”
???: “Oh wow, I remember you two standing in front of everyone.”
??? (2): “I do too!”
Hajime: “Okay…?”
Shuichi: “Just go ahead and state your names. We don’t wish to waste your time.”
???: “My name is Kirby, Hero Level Star Warrior!”
KIRBY, HERO LEVEL STAR WARRIOR
Shuichi: “A… star warrior?”
Kirby: “I knew someone would get confused. But that’s something that comes from my homeland! I’m very important there!”
??? (2): “Apparently so, even though we’re from the same place.”
Hajime: “Did you just happen to forget?”
??? (2): “Who knows, my name is Bandana Waddle Dee! Hero Level Spearman!”

Shuichi: “Intriguing, you use spears a lot?”
Bandana Dee: “Yeah, I do it’s my main fighting type and so I always try to use it to my advantage!”
Hajime: “Make sure you don’t use that against us…”
Bandana Dee: “No worries! I would never hurt anyone!”
Kirby: “Yeah, he doesn’t seem to be the guy to do so.”
Shuichi: “Figured as much…”
Hajime: “Well we’re going to be leaving and checking in with the other person. See you two.”
Bandana Dee: “Goodbye!”
Shuichi “( We walked over to the person eating and appeared to be startled. )”
Shuichi: “S-Sorry to scare you like that. Are you okay?”
???: “Y-Yeah! Sorry about that, I didn't think you'd be finished talking with the two.”
Hajime: “We’re just asking for names and we’ll do the same.”
???: “Okay… My name is Miles ‘Tails’ Prower! Call me Tails for short. Hero Level Mechanic at your service!”
MILES ‘TAILS’ PROWER, HERO LEVEL MECHANIC
Shuichi: “A mechanic… you must be able to do a lot with machinery.”
Tails: “I mean that’s what a speciality is!”
Hajime: “Guess so. Sorry to bother, let’s go.”
Shuichi: “( Suddenly everything felt like we were in a time crunch. We ran down the hallway into a classroom and we saw two people looking around in it. )”
Shuichi: “Hello you two, sorry to bother but what are your names?”
???: “What a quick introduction.”
Hajime: “We want to get done soon so we’re just acting a bit quickly.”
??? (2): “Alright, I mean that sounds reasonable enough.”
???: “Yeah… Byleth Eisner, Hero Level Professor”

??? (2): “My name is Shez, Hero Level Mercenary!”

Byleth: “She’s quite the loud one…”
Shuichi: “Oh… but anyways, we’ll be heading off now.”
Byleth: “Hope we can see each other again without a rush.”
Shuichi: “Me too.”
Shuichi: “( We continued running around and then we saw a rather big group of people. Actually it wasn’t super big but it was good to gather introductions from four people. We got over there and just stood there patiently. )”
???: “Ah! Were you two there for a while?”
Hajime: “Not for a super long time. But anyways, we just want an idea of your names. Nothing too serious and we’ll be on our way.”
???: “Very well, I’m Mario! Hero Level Hero!”
MARIO, HERO LEVEL HERO
Mario: “Well… I just became the definitive title.”
Shuichi: “Hero Level Hero… well I guess whatever works.”
Mario: “Yep!”
??? (2): “M-Mario… are you sure you’re supposed to be saying that to strangers?”
??? (3): “They won’t be strangers for long. They want introductions from us.”
??? (2): “Suppose that’s alright… My name is Luigi. Hero Level Ghost Hunter.”

??? (3): “Now it's my turn. Ahem, my name is Neuvillette, Hero Level Judge.”

Shuichi: “So many of them…”
??? (4): “You got one more left! Name’s Knuckles the Echidna, Hero Level Fighter.”

Hajime: “Thank you for your introductions. My name is Hajime Hinata and he’s Shuichi Saihara. Hero Level Hope and Detective respectively.”
Neuvillette: “I see… Intriguing.”
Knuckles: “How is Hope even… actually I shouldn’t judge.”
Mario: “Exactly everyone! I think they’re very cool. Regardless, hope you guys meet everyone else!”
Shuichi: “We will.”
Shuichi: “( Me and Hajime dashed out of the room and looked around the academy a little more. There was a gym but nobody was there. Not only that but there appeared to be a greenhouse as well. But that was the only outdoor light there was. As we continued running around we didn’t find anyone. So we just decided to make our way back onto the island. )”
Shuichi “( We made our way to the next part of the island and this appeared to be an… airport? Why was there an airport? None of the planes were taking off so this was basically useless. But still we found someone here looking around. )”
???: “This whole place… reminds me a bit of Marlin Airport!”
Shuichi: “Uh… hey there.”
???: “OH! Hey there! What do you need?”
Shuichi: “Just going around asking for introductions. If you can introduce yourself, that’ll be wonderful.”
???: “Great! My name is Agent 4, Hero Level Agent!”
AGENT 4, HERO LEVEL AGENT
Shuichi: “An agent…”
Agent 4: “Yeah, I worked for Marie. Apparently she’s famous but I don’t know.”
Shuichi: “Are you familiar with Agent 8? She was someone we met a while ago…”
Agent 4: “A little, not very much other than she’s pretty close with Off the Hook.”
Hajime: “And… who is that?”
Agent 4: “An idol band from Inkopolis Square.”
Shuichi: “Maybe I should stop myself from asking anymore questions. Regardless of that, thank you.”
Agent 4: “No problem, be safe you two!”
Shuichi: “( We walked out of the airport and continued running around, we were getting closer to circling around but soon we found a farm. There were two people looking around at the animals.)”
???: “The animals are so adorable. I love farm animals.”
??? (2): “I do too… but sometimes th-they leave me a bit nervous.”
???: “Aww cheer up, they’re not so bad!”
Shuichi: “Hello, we just came by to say hi.”
???: “Oh hello!”
Shuichi: “Oh yeah, forgot to mention that we just want to know your names. Nothing more as we’re starting to run out of time.”
??? (2): “T-Time… but there’s still a lot.”
Shuichi: “I’m not too sure about that but just want to make sure.”
???: “My name is Celica, Hero Level Priestess.”
CELICA, HERO LEVEL PRIESTESS
Hajime: “Nice to meet you. Are you just another healer?”
Celica: “Sorta, but not really! Understand that I have a lot that makes me important than just being a healer.”
Shuichi: “Alright, I’m not one to judge but… alrighty.”
Celica: “Heh, sorry to sound defensive.”
??? (2): “I should probably go next. M-My name is Alcryst, Hero Level Archer…”

Shuichi: “An Archer… wow that’s interesting to see one.”
Alcryst: “You… you both flatter me a lot. But regardless…”
Shuichi: “Sorry, I should probably go. Got a few more people left to go.”

Hajime: “Shuichi!”
Shuichi: “( Hajime followed directly after me as I continued running around. From there I saw someone looking around at the tropical setting and we just stopped them there. )”
Shuichi: “Sorry! Sorry to bother, what is your name?”
???: “That’s sudden.”
Hajime: “It won’t be long and then we’ll be on our way.”
???: “My name is Shadow The Hedgehog, Hero Level Lifeform.”

Shuichi: “Thank you kindly! We’ll leave you alone now.”
Shadow: “Hmph, whatever.”
Shuichi: “( Me and Hajime continued running ahead as we got toward a fountain. From there I saw two people talking to one another. As well as third person just showing up out of the blue. This was the group we needed. )”
Hajime: “Hello everyone, we’re just here to ask about some introductions.”
Shuichi: “Yeah, you’re our last group so no rush. We were just nervous about time.”
???: “Oh that’s not a problem, I’ll go ahead and save you some time by introducing myself now. Lumine, Hero Level Assistant!”
LUMINE, HERO LEVEL ASSISTANT
Hajime: “Oh wow, do you help others a lot?”
Lumine: “Usually, I work with a variety of different people and a lot say I’m good at my job!”
??? (2): “She is indeed, I heard her stories from a couple of the folks here and she seems to do a good enough job.”
Lumine: “Heh, you’re too kind.”
??? (2): “Sorry, Claude Von Riegan. Hero Level Schemer.”

Hajime: “Your title leaves me a little worried.”
Claude: “I promise I won’t do anything serious. I’m not that type of person to screw things up. Only… sometimes.”
Shuichi: “That sounds reassuring…”
??? (3): “I’m going last then. My name is Tsumugi Shirogane, Hero Level Cosplayer!”

Shuichi: “You seem to be familiar… Well, I’ve met so many people with so many different titles. You all are such a diverse bunch.”
Claude: “Guess that’s what happens when you’re in a class. Or I guess a group of heroes as the fox keeps calling us…”
Lumine: “Well… glad we were-”
Shuichi: “( But then… the sounds of an intercom turned on. )”
*Ding dong, bing bong*
???: “Testing, testing! Good day everyone and welcome to the Hero Islands! Now I know this is all very sudden but everyone please meet at the fox statue as soon as you can! This is going to be a very serious event so I don’t want anyone to miss it! Thank you very much and don’t be late!”
Lumine: “W-What… is going on?”
Hajime: “Something serious has to be going on… otherwise… forget it. Let’s go before we face any sort of trouble.”
Shuichi: “( We all started running off to where the fox statue was. It wasn’t far off and we were one of the first ones there. We stood there staring at one another as curiosity started filling our minds. What was going on? )”
Agent 8: “What could be so serious that we would need to gather around this strange fox statue?”
Neuvillette: “Everyone, we have to stay calm about the situation.”
Furina: “He’s right… but at the same time I can’t help but feel nervous.”
Agent 4: “Let’s not feel nervous everyone…”
Mario: “But whatever could bring us together at this hour? It’s nearly bedtime based on the sky…”
Shuichi: “It has to be dead serious if they’re dragging us out nearly around bedtime. Speaking of, what time is it even?”
Chrom: “Just 9 pm, I don’t think it’s that late for bedtime but it’s all personal preference.”
Hajime: “Good point…”
Shuichi: “( We continued mumbling things to one another until we heard a sound… )”
*A fox jumps out from the behind statue*
Sonic: “The hell? Is that a fox?”
Tails: “It… It seems like it.”
Shadow: “It seems to be a stuffed fox. Like a plush…”
???: “I am not a stuffed fox plushie! I am a real fox named Monokitsune!”
Alcryst: “Similar to… Monokists?”
Monokitsune: “Yep! You all met my brother and only now are you going to meet me!”
Mario: “Uhm… but what brings you around?”
Celica: “Y-You’re not the headmaster are you?”
Byleth: “God I hope not, I wouldn’t take her that seriously if she is.”
Monokitsune: “Be NICE! Okay!? I’m giving you all a place to stay so give some respect to your headmaster NOW! Do I make myself loud and clear? No? Then you guys are just a bunch of assholes! Heroes should be so much better than this!”
Chrom: “W-We didn’t even do anything?”
Kaede: “And… heroes?! What is it with this hero stuff?!”
Monokitsune: “That doesn’t MATTER! Now listen to me right now, as I’m going to explain your entire island life! Okay everyone? Let’s do this!”
Lumine: “Our island life has restrictions?”
Monokitsune: “This is still an academy but anyways. Together, you heroes will live in harmony together within the whole island. A happy go lucky life within the wonderful Hero Islands! This is going to be great! Now, everyone will all be here till the day you pass away! All together living a happy life…”
Alcryst: “T-Together?!”
Kirby: “Heroes??”
Marianne: “P-Pass way…? What are you talking about?”
Monokitsune: “You guys love talking over me a lot don’t you? You’re all so disrespectful when I try to explain things. Now be quiet everyone! This is going to be your life until the day you die whether you like it or not! Do I make myself clear?”
Claude: “Not enough, I want to ask a question.”
Monokitsune: “Ooh? What do you wish to ask?”
Claude: “Are you sure we’re going to be… stuck on this island forever?”
Tsumugi: “There has to be a way out.”
Micaiah: “Yes! You have to provide a way somehow… I’m certain nobody wishes to stay here.”
Monokitsune: “Do you want a way out? Fine! You simply just need to graduate! If anyone were to disturb the happy go lucky life you guys are having. Then you have the right to leave the island!”
Chrom: “That… seems confusing.”
Monokitsune: “MONOKISTS!”
Monokists: “Hi everyone! Seems like Monokitsune wants me to explain the whole situation regarding the disruption of the happy life?”
Agent 8: “I guess….”
Monokists: “Ehehehe…”
Sonic: “What has you giggling like that…?”
Monokists: “Well that’s not hard to do. All you guys need to do is…”
Monokists: “Murdering someone! That doesn’t sound too hard!”
Hajime: “M-Murder?!”
Shuichi: “You’re asking us to kill each other in order to escape the islands?! That’s complete nonsense!”
Monokitsune: “No it isn’t! You wanted a way out, you're going to fight your way out by killing each other!”
Alcryst: “N-No way is anyone going to fall for this!”
Monokitsune: “Are you sure about that…? I doubt it because I know ways to see through you all. I’ll find a way eventually.”
Furina: “So stuck here… forever.”
Shez: “Unless a murder happens.”
Monokitsune: “Yep! Which is why we’re now introducing the E-handbooks! The key to having a great life here! Now here are the rules of the island as well as information about you all. Don’t you DARE lose these e-handbooks or else there will be consequences! Do I make myself clear? Any violation of the academy rules will be punished accordingly!”
Shuichi: “Are you really forcing us to do… this?”
Monokitsune: “Certainly! Now here you all go and I’ll be off! See you all later!”
Monokists: “Wait for me!”
Shuichi: “( Then the two left as quickly as they appeared. All of us were just standing there completely flabbergasted. )”
Hajime: “Okay everyone, we just need to stay calm and make sure nothing serious happens. Alright?”
Shadow: “How positive are you that everyone is going to actually listen to that?”
Celica: “Well… we have to believe in one another! We cannot let such a thing get to our heads.”
Kaede: “I agree!”
Marianne: “Yes… Monokitsune did say we can live together in a happy communal life.”
Tsumugi: “But of course she won’t be happy with that.”
Tails: “How do you know for sure she won’t like that?!”
Shez: “She definitely looks like the type of person to not like when things go accordingly.”
Lumine: “I can assure everyone that nobody is going to do anything irrational. Do I make myself clear?”
Byleth: “Not enough…”
Kaede: “S-Shut Up! We’re going to find a way to ensure nobody dies. Do you hear me, everyone? Nobody is going to die here.”
Celica: “I love your spirit Kaede! Yes! Let’s keep this up!”
Luigi: “Y-Yes…”
Shuichi: “(Even though people were feeling lightened up about the situation. I myself felt… conflicted about the whole situation. Then we just broke the act and stared at one another.)”
Shuichi: “( We all just stood there staring at one another in confusion, disgust and anger. Monokitsune was going to find a way into our heads if we liked it or not. I couldn’t control that, nobody could. Even if we tried… Those haunting words echoed in my head. “To graduate you need to kill someone.” I wanted to believe that nothing serious would happen but how did I know? I couldn’t control anything that everyone could do. )”
“( But at the same time… the eeriness of everyone staring at each other left me nerve-wracked. I couldn’t do this alone, I had Hajime for sure but at the same time I couldn’t trust him with my heart. It was do or die. Someone was going to eventually die and I felt it inside of me. But I couldn’t control that, there’s no way I actually could. )”
“( And that began the life of the Hero Islands. The life of all of us “heroes.” Why were we given that title? Did it hold any meaning? Of course it did… but… )”
“(This was an island of complete and utter despair. Nothing will change that even if I wanted to. This was our life now, and it was filled with fear.)”
