Ok so here’s the logic crap. After StarCourt, Will was sick of being ignored. Joyce dies at star Court (I’m so sorry, but it was the only way it would make sense). Hopper mourned her so deeply that he ignored everyone else. Mike was still being S3 Mike, and Jonathan was set to go off to college with Nancy. So he called Lonnie and moved to Denver with him. He changed his name to get away from “Zombie boy.” He still talked to Hopper, El, Steve, Robin, and Jonathan once a week but otherwise he doesn’t really talk to anyone in Hawkins. He quit D&D because it reminded him of Hawkins. Then he met Robin, and Bruce. Those were the only two he knew pre-kidnapping. Instead of the boys dying, the Grabber would just put them in the other basement and starve them. Will/Finney got out completely on his Upside Down experience. After the “Casper Crew” got super close and trauma bonded. Finney is tentatively together with Robin, Vance asked Bruce out and they’re in the “chill” phase, and Griffin and Billy were already together pre-Grabber. For sake of ease on my part, the Casper crew already know about the upside down and El and everything (not like FULLY fully, but they know supernatural shit is real). But the Hawkins crew is not aware of the kidnappings.
If it’s from a Stranger Things Character’s perspective, I will be calling Finney-Will Will. If it’s a Black Phone character or Finney-Will’s perspective I’ll call him Finney.
