Request: World's Finest Assassins & Split Crossover

Summary:

After dying in agony in the arms of poor Casey, Kevin Wendell Crumb together with all his personalities end up in the presence of a Goddess who offers each of them the possibility of reincarnating in a new world with the only condition of killing the hero within 18 years since their rebirth.

Notes:

Hello to all the newcomers and to those few who by pure miracle find what I write interesting. This is an idea that I have cultivated and kept in my mind for a couple of years ever since I searched for Fanfiction about this anime only to discover that it is among the most deserted sections on all 3 major sites. Seriously, the first time I checked the only Fanfiction it was on Ao3 while all the other sites were empty and it's not like things have changed that much now.

But I'm not here to criticize the fandom, everyone is free to write when and how they want and to receive real compelling reviews, just as I hope to entice someone to make this story. I make another small premise to tell you that I have a profound knowledge of the films Split and Glass by director M. Night Shaymalan while I have only seen the anime of the isekkai in question which for convenience I will call with the acronym TWFA so this request focuses on the 12 episodes that compose it then if some of you are more informed about the manga all the better. And now we can leave.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: Guidelines

Chapter Text

I should also give a summary of Kevin's character history and the events that led to his death: Since he was a child, this man's life has been filled with suffering beyond almost any imagination due to the terrible physical and psychological abuse of a psychopathic mother and the absence of his father who died in a train wreck that Kevin did not know about until shortly before his death and always thought that he had abandoned him.

Unable to bear all the pain and suffering, Kevin's psyche began to break down giving birth to his dissociative identity disorder or multiple personalities which continued to worsen as his life went on until he had developed 23 personalities in his body.

It goes without saying that not all of these personalities exist in harmony with each other because some of them, in addition to being born from Kevin's traumas and therefore very dangerous and unstable like the main antagonists of the film who were prevented from "taking control" for a long time, especially because of their sick ideology, according to which only people who have suffered enormous suffering such as the abuse suffered by Kevin are "pure" and therefore worthy of living, and for this reason all the other personalities label them as "The Horde".

During the events of the first film, the dangerous personalities manage to take control and kidnap three girls with the intention of using them for a kind of ceremony awakening Kevin's 24th personality: The Beast.

The scientific explanation of the dissociative identity disorder within the film is clearly very imaginative, but it is said that a person with different identities can not only develop the hidden potential of the brain, but even change the chemistry and physiognomy of his body.

One of my favorite examples is the scene where one of the personalities aggressively asks that if they are always the same person how do they explain that only she has to take insulin injections for diabetes while all the others don't.

The most impressive of all is obviously the Beast who, although he doesn't change his physical appearance much, has the ability to climb any wall, to have skin impenetrable even to gunshots and a superhuman strength with which he can bend steel and easily break bones.

I won't summarize here in detail all the events of the films in which this superhuman serial killer appears, but the fact remains that a deep knowledge is needed to write this crossover and transpose these characters in a dignified way.

If you've read the description, you've already understood that this story is set immediately after Kevin's death in the finale of Glass. I leave it up to you to decide whether to do it in a similar way to the first episode of the anime describing the events of the film or to explain it through the reflections he has after death shortly before finding himself in front of the throne of the Goddess.

Although it is not accurate to define Kevin as the protagonist using the singular because this story focuses on the psychological study of the 24 personalities that inhabit his body developed during his first and tormented life. Obviously, asking to tell them all including how and when they were "born" is a colossal undertaking, especially trying in the meantime not to bore the readers, creating a coherent narration.

On this topic I had an interesting idea about the scene of their meeting with the Goddess: In the second episode of TWFA the lady implies that she calls the souls of humans to her presence, so strictly speaking these people do not have their body that remained on earth but rather a solid projection of their souls. All this serves to justify the possibility that perhaps all the personalities reform as separate individuals. In practice, at least for the duration of the interview, they have the possibility of having a "body" each and precisely by virtue of the fact that they are the manifestation of their souls no longer locked in Kevin's body they could all have a different appearance.

Although my idea of treating each of the personalities as a self-sufficient individual despite being generated from Kevin's psyche might raise questions for readers as to why the Goddess called all 24 of them instead of selecting the ones useful for her plan or even better why not reincarnate each one in a new body, then it is necessary for the Goddess in her monologue to add a plausible explanation as to why she reborns them all in the body of Lugh Tuatha De (knowing her it is possible that she did it just for fun and made up a lie). Perhaps it would have been inconvenient for the Goddess to have them reborn at the same time, but scattered all over the world.

Of course, I admit that even physically imagining each personality can be an exaggerated mental work for an element that will last for a chapter at most since they will all be reincarnated in the body of the protagonist Lugh, and in fact I think a detailed description is needed only for the 6 most relevant personalities in the story of Split and Glass: Being the original Kevin should have exactly the appearance that James McAvoy has in the film maybe with just simple jeans and a t-shirt.

Dennis is the leader of the Horde and one of the most dominant and dangerous personalities, as well as responsible for the majority of violent behavior and the kidnapping of the three girls. He also suffers from an obsessive-compulsive disorder and this makes him obsessed with order and cleanliness, so his projection could wear a well-ironed shirt and dark pants and maybe leather gloves, without forgetting the glasses he always wears. He is perhaps the first of all the personalities, having formed when Kevin was only 3 years old, so his appearance could also be that of a man older than all the others with short hair, a light, well-groomed beard and expression lines to accentuate his serious and rigid face.

Patricia is the priestess of the Horde and a calm and collected mother figure, but who is just as threatening as Dennis. Precisely because of this similarity, she could have the features of a middle-aged woman with dark brown hair tied in a bun and a sweetly authoritative face. Her dress could be the same as the one she wears in Split without any particular changes.

Then there is Hedwin, the nine-year-old boy who is apparently very innocent and childish and who is greatly influenced by the first two personalities, although he cannot be defined as intentionally evil. He is very important because he has the ability to take control when and how he wants and also decide who should have it, which gives him great power over others.

Hedwin could simply be a young version of Kevin perhaps with quite long and messy hair and wearing a colorful striped shirt with shorts, sneakers on his feet and a baseball cap with the visor backwards as a reference to his passion for Rap music.

Another very important personality is Barry who identified as an extroverted leader is one of the most likeable personalities and had the main control before Hedwin took it away from him. He is a very effeminate designer with a strong artistic streak and this can be transmitted with his fashionable clothes such as a leather jacket, a shirt and designer jeans and perhaps wearing various accessories such as bracelets or a scarf. We must also transmit his quite confident and casual behavior as in the film where he often assumes relaxed poses and a straight posture in order to transmit security and obviously his lively and very engaging way of speaking.

Last but not least, the mysterious Beast: There's no need to discuss clothing given his propensity to remain bare-chested and bare-footed, leaving only his pants on. In the movies, when the Beast is in control, all of Kevin's muscles are tense to the point of showing dark veins under the skin of his chest and his pupils are dilated from physical exertion while he lets out real roars when he attacks. In Split, when Dennis describes the Beast, he says that he is much larger than him, with fingers twice as long as his own and a thick mane of dark hair. It would be quite comical if the Beast immediately tried to attack the goddess and without losing his mocking nature, said "good. Go to bed, boy" and a wave of his hand was enough to bring her to her knees.

There is really too little information about the other personalities to advance hypotheses similar to those I just expressed, but I think I will make a list of all of them in the next chapter so that you can decide whether to exploit them or not. Some will definitely have to be completely invented, but I want to point out that they will not all have to be equally present and the main ones remain those that we have met in the movies that are the most dominant.

Obviously, the advice on clothes and attitude are also valid for after the reincarnation because, in the same way as the various personalities dress and behave differently in the movies (incredibly rendered by the great James McAvoy), even in this story the exact same job must be done, and in reality it would be perfectly in line with the role of hitman that Lugh had in TWFA.

Returning to the present it is easy to understand that almost all the personalities are very skeptical about the situation they find themselves in and above all horrified at the task of killing the hero of that world so the Goddess would realistically have a hard time trying to convince them, especially Kevin who hoped to have put an end to his suffering.

The most inclined to accept are obviously the members of the Horde because of the possibility of starting a new life with a greater probability of being free. It occurs to me that the Goddess might have even told them that if they kill the hero within 18 years of their rebirth she will use her magic to give all 24 of them individual bodies so they can live completely free (I'll leave it up to you to decide whether or not it's a lie).

Let's remember that we don't know all the personalities in depth, but from how their conflictual relationship is shown in the movies it's quite easy to think that everyone would take the opportunity to separate, Kevin first and foremost. Although I've received a suggestion that some of them act as "crutches" for others and maybe some insecurity about the idea of living separately after years in that condition can easily arise.

Once everyone has accepted, we move on to choosing the skills with which they will reincarnate and this is also a very difficult point not only because each of the personalities will make their choice individually, but also because at least in the anime there is no information on which skills are present in the lists except for those chosen by the protagonist. Of course, the chosen skills are specific to the personality that chose them, so if Dennis chose quick recovery, he is the only one who can benefit from it.

Despite my research I have not been able to find out if there is a detailed list in the original work, but if not I fear that one would have to imagine one by borrowing skills from other isekai and fantasy stories in general, and unfortunately I do not think I am industrious enough to succeed.

But I do not rule out that in the future I could add a list that can be updated periodically. A new one that comes to mind is an instant translation skill because unlike the protagonist of the anime it is very unlikely that all the personalities can easily learn the language even with the help of childish learning.

Now it's time to start talking about the reincarnation in the young Lugh and the new family dynamics of the Tuatha De: So, as much as all the personalities are aware of the situation, we know from the film how internal conflicts are very frequent between them and if this is quite obvious to us viewers surely the expert assassin Cian Tuatha De would immediately realize the true nature of his son. I do not know if the members of the Horde could try to kill their new parents, but if so even the beast would be easily neutralized by the skills of the leader of this noble family of assassins, especially since he would still have the features of a child.

This would quickly make the beast realize that they are not the strongest in this world and need training from their new father. Also, the beast might consider them "pure" in his philosophy, once he hears the story of how the family is forced to do the dirty work for the royal family and the pain they suffered from the early loss of their first child.

Of course, Cian and his wife Esri would be incredibly worried about the condition of their dear son and would seek even magical remedies to find out the whole truth about this disturbing situation. I believe that an expert interrogation hitman like Mr. Tuatha De would be able to quickly discover how the dissociative identity disorder works and using psychological tricks he would be able to recognize and "unlock" all the personalities in order to talk to them and find out every single piece of information about Kevin's story.

This new baggage of information is very difficult to process, but I am convinced that Cian would not give up his role as a father and would see it as an opportunity to give these identities the loving family they have never had, a thought also shared by his wife who is obviously moved by everything.

Although I want all the various personalities to accept their new life, I think that the quickest to get used to it would be little Hedwin, starting to be cuddled by his new mother, and thinking about the original in which Esri complained about her child becoming independent too quickly I imagine she would be over the moon to have such an energetic little son to spoil.

The lady would also be enthusiastic about Patricia and the other female identities because then she would have daughters to dress her clothes. Speaking of clothes, Barry could be happy to share his ideas as a designer with Esri and maybe create a modern clothing line with the support of his new noble condition.

Speaking instead of training as a hitman, the most suitable would be Dennis, perhaps Patricia and also The Beast. Mr. Tuatha De could have focused his lessons on them by giving each of them the mystical eyes of the family.

Remember the explanation in the film according to which the personalities change the physiognomy of the body? In this case only the three of them undergo the eye surgery and consequently they are the only ones who have to keep them at rest, so it is enough for them to stay aside leaving the others in command.

Similar to how in the original Lugh trains Tarte, perhaps the father would entrust them with the task of training the other personalities. Let's remember the famous saying "Not everyone uses weapons to fight". So each of them will have skills in their respective fields.

Similar speech also for the medical lessons in which I imagine that the most suited are Dennis and Patricia, in addition to being able to invent a personality that is already a doctor and it would not be strange given that in the films we see for a short time a Japanese cinema professor and an expert in ancient history. With the training as hitmen, the first three personalities would also refine the hunting techniques that they partly knew in their previous life through work at the zoo.

Another funny scene would be Hedwin complaining to Esri because he believes that his father does not love him because he spends most of his time training Dennis, Patricia and the beast.

I received another suggestion that by no longer being in an adult body and having the possibility of being born and raised as a real child Hedwin could have matured psychologically and in fact it could be said that all personalities learn and evolve, we have also seen it in the movies, which would be even more evident in an episodic story.

It would be nice to see how Kevin begins to have more of a say especially in the most complicated and tense situations: Being the original and therefore the most psychologically wounded I imagine that the new father would try to use his knowledge as a doctor to build a therapeutic path for him. A path in which he slowly tries to bring Kevin out of his shell and give more importance to what he really wants rather than being suffocated. In practice, Mr. Tuatha De would be a replacement for Dr. Fletcher.

Once they turn 7, it's time for lessons with Lugh's biological cousin and sorceress, Dia: I think the parents would trust the girl to share the secret behind their multiple children and I think she would have no problem accepting the information, in fact it's very likely that she would bombard them with questions given her scientific interest even if it's not a subject related to magic.

Unfortunately I am not creative enough to make any major changes to the plot and the sequence of events, so you will have to rely on your registration to write this Fanfiction and the same goes for the lessons with Dia because I really don't know how to expand them compared to the anime episodes: It must be remembered that the various personalities do not have the same in-depth knowledge as the most expert assassin in the world, so the experiments and Innovations will have to have some differences.

I think Dennis would be able to come to the same conclusion as Lugh about spells that can be written on paper to be used even by those who did not invent it, but as far as the study of minerals and the creation of various alloys goes, a new personality would need to be a petrologist or someone who has metalworking as a hobby.

I think Patricia would establish the closest bond with Dia and she would see her as a sister, but she would use more or less the same teasing about the fact that she is the biologically older.

The discovery of Tarte and her adoption would be practically the same as canon and thinking about it the recruitment of all the girls from the original story could be considered an extension of the ritual of the beast that in this new world finds many suffering people and therefore considered worthy.

Another interesting change that I am not able to invent both for my lack of creativity and because I do not know the events after the first season would be to also add males among the people considered pure by the Horde. Here too I leave it up to you to choose whether to invent new characters or find some kids within the series.

Now I would like to discuss the modus operandi of the new heir of the Tuatha De: Obviously the members of the Horde have no problem with murders especially because in this case they are directed towards people who have committed serious and disgusting crimes and therefore the beast can freely vent against them in the same way seen in Split and Glass. In reality, even the beast's work can be useful as a cover if the discovery of dismembered and devoured bodies are considered by the population as attacks by wild animals.

But this does not mean that the beast together with Dennis and Patricia have not taken their father's training seriously by learning all his techniques and this must be shown through more reasoned movements and real combat strategies.

Especially in episode 5 in which Lugh faces his final exam against his father, it is necessary to describe well the differences not only with the original protagonist, but also between the various styles of the personalities and the way in which they combine with each other. To make things more realistic, you could say that they "fail" the test since they are forced to activate their secret abilities rather than relying only on their intuition. Or if you want, you could say that they win anyway thanks to their very refined senses.

While the work of acting undercover would be incredibly easy on the one hand, it would be enough to leave the command to one of the many personalities and have them do a job under a false name such as, for example, instead of creating a cosmetics shop like in the original, Barry could establish himself as the very talented stylist that he was also in the modern world and create his own line for both nobles and commoners, and as a result Maha and her girls once saved would become excellent seamstresses.

Speaking of the blue-haired girl who is honestly my favorite, I thought of a dynamic just like the original one, Dennis shows up with the identity of Illing Balor with the excuse of adopting one of the girls forced into forced labor and prostitution by those disgusting criminals and once Maha is saved and after the beast has massacred his tormentors I would like there to be a scene with the exact same atmosphere as Split where the beast carefully observes the young women, especially the girl, with the cuts on her face and with an almost tearful smile exclaims his famous "Rejoice... Rejoice" and since the gratitude for their Savior overcomes the anxiety they feel they could all go and hug him in tears. And unlike the original the cuts on the girl's face are not erased because the beast tells her that she must be proud of them as a sign of her purity.

I had a dialogue that was very similar to another one in Glass where the protagonist faces Maha and the kidnappers and when they turn to Mr. Balor they receive the following response: "Do you know what's about to happen now, you stupid idiots?! That the Horde will have to kill you! And all why? Because you guys can't keep it in your pants! You can see your erections from here!"

Then I repeat that I really don't know how to change events in a more creative way, but the fact is that in the anime there were many time jumps that left little room for the growth of characters like Tarte and Maha and in particular the latter who seems to go from a traumatized girl to an assassin spy in a very short time, so in a Fanfiction divided into several chapters there is all the space to tell their evolution.

On the romantic theme, the only thing I'm pretty sure about is that Dennis, due to his obsession with order and cleanliness, would like him to develop feelings for Maha who is the most elegant and feminine of all. Then it occurred to me that maybe Barry would be a suitable companion for Tarte or some of the girls in her shop because of his kindness and helpfulness, also because despite his effeminate attitude I don't think he's gay. Although the beginning of a romantic relationship could raise big doubts in some personalities causing them to close themselves off again and become unstable again.

Decide for yourself which solution you think is right, but no rivalries and love triangles. Don't even think about it. IT DOESN'T EXIST! This story cannot be classified as a harem.

For the rest I continue to reiterate that I don't have any clear ideas: The assassin tasks would have practically the same development and also the subsequent events in which there is the spear-wielding berserker to defeat and all I can think of is an epic clash with the beast that would see her defeated in a similar way to her duel against David Dunn and for this reason the personalities must start collaborating by putting together their individual skills to create a winning strategy.

Chapter 2: All personalities

Notes:

Hello again. Not sorry for a delay of almost two days and for such a short chapter, but it's time to make the list of all 24 entities that coexisted in Kevin's body and now in that of Lugh Tuatha De. Technically I've already described in detail the 6 personalities that I think should be the main characters of the fanfiction, so most of their information will be repeated below, however, written slightly differently. Remember that some advice on the physical appearance of personalities only applies to the scene in which they are in the presence of the Goddess and their souls are separated from the body they have always shared.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Kevin Wendell Crumb:Being the original it is the nucleus around which all other personalities have developed. Kevin represents the real person, the most vulnerable and traumatized part of his being. Naturally reserved and tends to withdraw into himself. Avoids confrontation and social interaction, preferring to remain in the shadows. His shyness is accentuated by the fear and insecurity he constantly feels. Despite his reserve, Kevin desperately craves affection and understanding, something he has never received in his life.

Physically he should have the exact same appearance as James McAvoy in the films Split and Glass while for clothing I would opt for simple and anonymous clothes, such as a light t-shirt and jeans. You may appear unkempt, with clothing that reflects a lack of care or interest in your appearance.

His posture may be hunched, with his shoulders facing forward, as if he wants to protect himself. His speech would be soft, with a low and perhaps tremulous tone of voice, reflecting his inner pain and emotional fragility.

Dennis: One of the first personalities to form when Kevin was only 3 years old, as well as one of the most disturbing, as he has a perverse predilection for watching girls dance naked. He also has an obsessive-compulsive disorder particularly interested in cleanliness and order. He is also very intelligent, manipulative, and tough, and is mostly able to act like a different personality. Even though he is sometimes cold, he seems to have a lighter side, especially towards children.

Dennis might wear smart but practical clothing, such as a well-ironed white shirt and dark pants. He may have leather gloves, a symbol of his obsession with cleanliness. The projection of his soul could be a middle-aged man with short, well-groomed hair and a light but well-groomed beard. His face may show constant tension, with deep expression lines on his forehead and around his eyes.

Patricia: A soft-spoken British personality who is considered the high priestess of "The Horde". She represents a maternal but equally sinister figure. Patricia is calm and collected, but is also deeply involved in the plans of the darkest personalities, supporting the emergence of the Beast.

She may be dressed elegantly and formally, with a long, dark-colored dress and a scarf. Her look could be completed with glasses and a pearl necklace while her Dennis-like appearance would be of a middle-aged woman, with hair pulled back into a well-groomed bun. His face could be sweetly authoritative, with light but precise makeup.

Hedwig: The nine year old who seems frozen in this mental age. Despite his apparent innocence, he is incredibly influential because the other personalities see him as a possible conduit to gain control of Kevin. Unlike the other personalities, Hedwig has the power to steal "the light" from Barry, the dominant personality, and although she is not intentionally evil, Hedwig chooses to give the light to Dennis and Patricia so as not to be made fun of. He enjoys using the term "Etcetera".

In addition to truly giving him the features of a child, one could add that he has unkempt hair and large, curious eyes. His face could be full of childish expressions, with an infectious smile and a lively look. Not too different from the movies. Hedwig may wear children's clothes, such as a colorful striped t-shirt and shorts. He may have sneakers on his feet and a baseball cap worn backwards.

Barry: He is the one who often presents himself as the dominant and "normal" personality compared to the others. An extroverted and effeminate fashion designer who is one of the nicest personalities, and is the dominant personality before being taken over by the Horde. Barry is the personality who tries to maintain the illusion of normality for Kevin, and is often the one who interfaces with the outside world in the most accepting and adjusted way, although he too is part of Kevin's complex internal system.

Barry may have a well-groomed and attractive appearance, with well-cut and modernly styled hair. His face may show a friendly and reassuring smile, with an open and sociable expression. The eyes may be lively and alert, always looking for new ideas and inspiration. He might wear trendy clothes, such as a leather jacket or a smart blazer, paired with a colorful shirt and designer jeans. She may also wear accessories such as bracelets or a scarf, reflecting her interest in fashion and style.

The Beast: The final and most feared of the personas. Manifests as a superhuman creature with incredible strength and endurance, and represents the pinnacle of Kevin's madness and danger. This persona changes Kevin's body chemistry and physiology to the point where his skin is impenetrable and he can develop superhuman speed, strength, and endurance. He has been shown to be able to climb walls, bend metal bars, and survive gunshot wounds. He believes that those who are "broken" are pure.

In my opinion, he should retain most of his humanoid features even without Kevin's body. He should still be A towering figure, with a tall, massive stature. The skin may appear to be almost stretched over the muscles, with prominent veins. The eyes may be a dark, piercing color, with dilated pupils, while the teeth may be sharp, almost animalistic. And let's not forget that Dennis in the movie mentions having long hair and fingers twice the length of a human.

Jade: A fast-talking girl who only appears in a video recorded on Kevin's computer in Split complaining about being the only one who has to take insulin shots and then send them to the doctors (except for Dr. Fletcher of course).

Orwell: A very intelligent man in the field of history who tends to compare historical events, mostly those of the 11th and 12th centuries, to the feud between the Horde and the other 20 personalities, including himself.

Mr. Pritchar: In Glass, Mr. Pritchard is revealed to be a professor of film, especially Japanese from the 1950s to the 1980s at UMass Amherst. He is one of the personalities against the Horde and hopes for Kevin's return.

Norma: An apologetic (constantly apologetic) personality. She appears briefly only in Glass. She speaks with a slight southern accent and apologizes for being with the Horde.

Luke: He takes the light when Elaija is trying to free Kevin from his room. He has a Texan accent, a big mouth, and apparently ruins the endings of the movies, as he says, "everyone knows the priest dies at the end of The Exorcist." (sorry for the spoiler)

Felida: Very briefly appears in Glass. No official name has been given for this identity, but the name Felida appears in the credits and by elimination that turns out to be her name.

Mary Reynolds: Only appears in Glass. Mary has an Irish accent, is very aggressive, and does not support the Horde.

Ian (Reynolds): He is Mary's twin, so while it is not confirmed, they should logically have the same last name. He also has an Irish accent and is very foul-mouthed, just like his sister.

Ansel: Briefly appears in Glass. Says he "shouldn't be in the light," voice soft and shaky, as if anxious.

Samuel: Never appeared and only mentioned by Dr. Fletcher in Split. Sends her an email in an attempt to warn her about the Horde.

Heinrich: Never appeared and only mentioned by Dr. Fletcher in Split. Sends her an email in an attempt to warn her about the Horde.

Bernice: Never appeared or mentioned. A folder with his name is seen on Kevin's computer in Split.

Goddard: Never appeared or mentioned. A folder with his name is seen on Kevin's computer in Split.

Polly: Never appeared or mentioned. A folder with his name is seen on Kevin's computer in Split.

Rakel: Never appeared or mentioned. A folder with his name is seen on Kevin's computer in Split.

Kat: Never appeared or mentioned. A folder with his name is seen on Kevin's computer in Split.

B.T. : Never appeared or mentioned. A folder with his name is seen on Kevin's computer in Split.

Notes:

Here you are. These are all the names and official information on Kevin's 24 personalities, including himself. As I wrote in the first and main chapter, they do not all have to be equally present, but unfortunately, excluding the tiny suggestions that I have left, any author will be forced to use their imagination if they want to build more complex characters. I didn't expect to come up with such a dense chapter despite the information from the first identities. However, the next list will be on the abilities shown in the anime and if I think of other options I will include them periodically. Thank you all for reading and see you next time.

Chapter 3: Skill Archive

Notes:

Hello again. The last chapter of the request and the construction of a list of all the skills we can imagine since I could not figure out if in the original story of TWFA there is actually a list of skills that the protagonist could choose from. Anyway, for the first update, I will simply rewrite the skills that our hitman has and incredibly I discovered that in the later stages of the story he obtained more.

Chapter Text

I will divide the skills into the original groups, that is, those of grade S, A, B, C, D.

If you remember, however, when the protagonist is choosing his grade D skill we are not told which one it is, but given his surprise we can guess that it is a very useful skill but not at all flashy because otherwise the gods would not have put it there. For now there are only fan speculations, but I will also include those to further enrich this short list.

Finally, all the skills already present in the series will be marked with an asterisk and I will write the name of the original bearer at the end of the description.

Grade S Skills

* Rapid Recovery: Increases the recovery rate of the user's stamina, mana, healing, etc. The recovery rate increases by a factor of 100. This multiplier can be increased with training. Skill acquired by the goddess before the complete reincarnation. Lugh thought that this was the best choice to match or exceed the hero's resistance.

*Bestiality: When invoked, it transforms the user into a half-beast. The ability grants the user the abilities pertaining to their animal, while also enhancing their senses and physical capabilities (The Beast should have this innately, so it wouldn't make sense to give it to them).

*My Faithful Knights: Grants the ability to give some of their abilities to exactly three people. Once each person is a "loyal knight", the blessing would be revoked if they lost a battle or denied an order given by the master. The ability cannot be given a second time to the same person. Through this ability, he is bonded to the hero while also receiving much of their innate strength.

*Multi-Chant: After obtaining the ability from Epona (the hero's real name), Lugh obtained an S-rank ability called Multi-Chant. It allows him to cast multiple spells at once.

Authority: Allows the user to command others with words, but the power of the effect depends on the user's will, which allows them to command from simple creatures such as small animals to the most ferocious beasts and even some humans.

Lightning Spear: The user can summon a cluster of long, narrow lightning bolts into their hands, which once thrown at the target will act like a homing missile and will chase it everywhere until it hits it and causes a medium-sized electromagnetic explosion. It is said that these spears never miss. The only drawback is that they obviously consume so much magic that there are few who can use them even once without risking collapse. Mistakenly considered a simple lightning spell, it is actually a technique that is almost impossible to replicate for those who do not possess this ability from birth.

Genome: Allows you to communicate with any animal and similarly to the beast ability, it allows you to gain the abilities of the animals you interact with. But its true potential lies in being able to use genetic data to blend the best of each animal characteristic (basically you can create an identical and even stronger version of the Beast. It would be quite a challenge if they met an enemy with this ability).

Vampirism: Those born with this ability have many characteristics in common with the vampires of our folklore with the only weakness being sunlight which inhibits the powers that are stronger during the night. The most powerful are to draw blood from a distance and to hypnotize enemies by looking into their eyes.

A-Rank Skills

*Spell Interest: Described as the ability to invent new spells, granting unlimited possibilities. Skill acquired from the goddess before her full reincarnation. Lugh only saw access to 100 spells as a handicap; so he decided to create his own spells to give him an edge.

*Squire's Devotion: While this ability is active, every skill of both the user and the master is greatly improved. Additionally, if the master dies, the user can revive them in exchange for their own life. Also allows Tarte to telepathically contact Lugh within a range of up to 200 meters. Active after establishing a connection with Tarte.

*Egg of Possibility: An ability that changes into another ability depending on the nature of the user, ranging from S-rank to B-rank.

Vanishment: A more powerful version of invisibility that does not simply make the body transparent, but completely hides every trace of its presence such as breathing, heartbeat and even magical power. Not even the mystical eyes of the Tuatha De can surpass this ability.

Flight: Innate ability to soar in the sky without the aid of special spells and that in rare cases can be developed as an extension of the ability to levitate. The main contraindications are the difficulty in remaining stable during flight and the gradual consumption of physical energy and magic.

B-Rank Ability

*Unlimited Growth: Allows the user to surpass their natural limits. Ability acquired by the goddess before complete reincarnation. Combined with Rapid Recovery, this allows Lugh to surpass and surpass normal human limits with his continuous training.

Invisibility: The name is quite comprehensive and allows one to become invisible to the naked eye (except for some creatures or humans with vision enhanced by another ability). There is a tiny chance that with training the user can evolve it to achieve disappearance.

Levitation: The innate ability to lift one's body and small objects into the air, but it can be improved with practice and in rare cases the ability to fly can be unlocked through it.

C-Rank Ability

*Martial Arts: Grants excellent melee combat ability and enhanced reflexes. Ability acquired by the goddess before her full reincarnation. Lugh thought that an assassin would need melee combat skills; kills will not always be single, long-range strikes on targets.

D-Rank Ability

*Unrevealed: Described as an ability that the gods did not anticipate or recognize the potential of. It was said to be his final trump card, though the condition and use of this ability will become questionable if the details of this power are revealed to others; though the Goddess is an exception, as she was able to choose the abilities. Ability acquired by the Goddess before her full reincarnation.

Perfect Memory: He says he is "confident in his memory" and having a perfect memory for all of his abilities would be a godsend.

Accelerated Perception or Dodge Ability: Several times during his match against his father, he is about to be attacked, but dodges at the last second. While he is almost certainly fast enough to do so thanks to Unlimited Growth, even he would not be able to react naturally to a knife flying right at his eye by anything other than instinct... or skill.

Notes:

It is possible that I will update the information in this chapter in the future, but I would be much more interested in reading your opinions even if you are not interested in making Fanfiction. I will also add the chapters with the list of all the personalities and the list of possible special abilities. That's all. I look forward to your comments and say goodbye. Until next time.
