Chapter 1: Words that broke her
Chapter Text
“Then Yoko told me that he went to class high as hell! Like can you believe that he-“
“Enid, can we talk?” Wednesday interrupted Enid who was excitedly babbling to her beloved roommate the story that she heard her best friend earlier. The blonde tilted her head in surprise as Wednesday doesn’t normally cuts her off like this ever since they’ve gotten together. It’s been five years since the Crackstone incident and a year after that she finally steeled herself enough to ask the raven out, even begging Thing to teach her the Addams way of asking someone out. She remembered the time she had to hunt a deer and embalm it herself to give the goth a worthy present for an Addams.
“Sure Weds, What do you want to talk about?” Enid asked her cheerfully as she tried to lean against the goth, who avoided her touch. She raised an eyebrow at the sudden coldness, Wednesday doesn’t normally push her away ever since they started dating. She glanced at her hurt yet she didn’t try to pry. Wednesday avoided her gaze which made the werewolf worry.
“Is there something wrong, Weds?” she asked carefully, as she didn’t want to push the boundaries of the raven. Yet the Addams didn’t answered her with silence. She bit her lower lip and tried to reach out towards the brunette who merely takes a step back away from her. Enid was hurt at the goth’s actions as she tried to stop her tears from forming.
“Babe? What’s wrong?” she asked her voice quivering as Wednesday takes a deep breath before looking straight in her eyes.
“Everything, this is wrong. Our relationship was a mistake.” Her words stabbed the werewolf’s heart. She did everything to make sure this relationship work, she fought for her against the pack’s decision which resulted into her getting disowned by her family. She worked extra hard to be able to get into the chosen college of the Addams, doing part-time jobs while studying hard for the scholarship. She made sure to support her the best she could but why would the raven say such words now?
“What do you mean a mistake? Wednesday tell me this is just a cruel joke!” She answered weakly, her body trembling as the tears she desperately held back was released. Wednesday merely glanced at her with a cold, uncaring gaze.
“Let’s break up, I am tired.” Wednesday said in a ruthless tone, Enid fell to her knees at her cold words like ice-cold water was splashed over ice in the middle of winter. She tried to grab the goth’s hand but was slapped away by the brunette.
“What did I do wrong, Wednesday. Tell me I can change , I-“ Enid desperately begged for answers but Wednesday merely look at her in annoyance.
“This is what’s wrong, Sinclair.” Wednesday answered, the werewolf flinched at the mention of her old surname that she doesn’t use anymore.
“Was it because I’m weak? Desperate?” Enid asked weakly as she kneeled in front of her , the hopelessness on her face was obvious. Her body screamed in vexation, her mind desperate for reasons and her soul wailed in agony.
“Precisely, you and I aren’t suited for each other.” Wednesday explained as Enid’s world continued to break further. “You are someone that my existence shouldn’t tolerate any further.”
Every word said stabbed her heart, breaking her even further. She wants to cling to her Wednesday even more, she won’t be able to survive if she’s beside her after all she’s all that she have.
“Please, Wednesday don’t do this to me.” Enid cried out to Wednesday who simply turned around ignoring her words she opens the door and merely glances towards the werewolf who was kneeling on the floor.
“A wolf like you shouldn’t beg, such a shame.” She muttered in clear displeasure as she slammed the door closed.
Enid stayed on the ground howling in anguish as tears flowed on her face, her claws pierced the wooden boards of the floor as she wallowed in heartbreak and misery. As she drained every last bit of her tears , something snapped inside her. Her last piece of sanity gone, the peace she carefully protected from pain gone like the wind. Slowly she stood up, the gentle and positive Enid could no longer be seen.
“Fine, no more weak Enid.” She muttered as she turns around only to see a picture of her and Wednesday hugging. She bit her lip as she grabbed it ripping it apart coldly. “You want to run away from me? Try your worst, Wednesday Addams. Even hell can’t take you away from me.” She growled.
Yoko knocked on the door of her best friend’s apartment, she’s anxious and worried as she haven’t heard from her in a week. In her fear she contacted Wednesday who merely told her that she and the werewolf are no longer together thus her best friend’s business is no longer her mine to meddle in. She remembered cursing the goth for her coldness.
“Come on, Wolfie. Open the door.” She muttered as she desperately banged on the door, she fighting the urge to break the door down. Her best friend better be still alive , Wednesday or she swears that she will kill her. “ Enid ! Open the damn door , Please!” she shouted her eyes glowing in anger and worry. Unbeknownst to her the neighboring apartment’s door opened and an upset woman stepped out. The noise the vampire was making was strong enough to disturb her sleep.
“If you’re looking for the blonde she moved out three days ago.” She grumbled in annoyance towards the vampire who turned around in hurry to grab her shoulders.
“What? She moved out? Do you know where she went?!” Yoko desperately asked the woman while her hold on her shoulder tightened. Yoko’s actions surprised the neighbor so much that it shook her awake. ‘Hey, let me go first! I have no idea where she went. All I remember was people taking out her stuff.” The woman answered as Yoko bit her lips , she can sense that the human was telling the truth. Taking a deep breath she lets her go and apologizes for actions. Pulling out a phone from her pocket she dials Enid’s number.
Every time second that passed by while the number rang made her more anxious for her best friend’s wellbeing. Yoko paced around while waiting for the werewolf to answer. “Come on, answer me.” She muttered nervously.
As if her prayers were answered, the call connected and she immediately spoke. “ Enid? Tell me where you are! Are you safe? Come on, Wolfie. You worried me.”
“I’m alive, don’t go looking for me.” Enid’s cold voice greeted her but before she can even answer the call dropped. Yoko was surprised and concern for the werewolf as she tried to dial the number again but this time it didn’t even ring as if she was blocked by her own best friend.
Yoko ran out of the apartment building in worry as she contacted the rest of her friend group. “Enid’s gone missing, can you guys try to contact her?” she said immediately the moment Divina and the rest entered the call. She opens her car and drives off in hurry as she tried to search for Enid in places she normally hang around but not a single sight of her was seen.
“Where the hell are you, Wolfie?” Yoko cried out in distress as she held back her tears.
“Consigliere, Il capo ti sta cercando.” (Counselor, The boss is looking for you ) A man spoke as a tall blonde was busy removing a pair of blood stained leather gloves from her hand. The blonde threw the gloves on a table full of torture devices covered in blood. The blonde reaches out towards the man who respectfully hands her a handkerchief , she accepts it and wipes the blood that splattered on her face during the interrogation of her precious guest.
“Ci sarò, vado al solito posto o nella casa grande?” (I will be there, the usual place or to the big house?) The blonde asked her voice emotionless, as she cleaned herself up. Her piercing blue eyes gazed on the man. The man couldn’t help but shudder, the presence of this woman was overwhelming, the feats she did for la famiglia were no joke. She’s a legend on this side of the world. He gulps before answering her question.
“Il solito posto, Consigliere”( The usual place, Councilor) he said as the blonde hummed before walking out the room, the man takes a deep breath of the air and couldn’t help but flinched at the sight of the blonde’s guest sitting on the chair bounded and beaten beyond recognition.
“Fa schifo essere te stesso, immagino sia ciò che meriti per aver tentato di tradire la famiglia.” (It sucks to be you, I guess that's what you deserve for trying to betray your family.) He muttered under his breath as he turned around to follow the blonde woman. After all he is required to bring her to the meeting place with the capo famiglia.
It’s been three years since Enid left America, she wandered around the world with what’s little left of her savings trying to find a way to get stronger. In luck she saved someone when she was in Italy and that some ended up owing her a favor. She asked this person for a job and the man eagerly gave her one, one that she didn’t expect. She learned how to speak Italian from them, they taught her how to be ruthless, the blood she spilled while serving this person ended up with her getting a position in their family. Her skills in interrogation and her strong senses gave her valuable advantage when it comes to picking up lies and eliminating traitors.
Enid removed her blood-stained shirt and tosses it on the chair, she needs to clean herself up after all it would be rude to appear her boss with such unkempt appearance. She sighs as she takes a quick shower and now she stands in front of a foggy mirror, she reaches out and wipes the mirror with her hand and the sight of her cold eyes greeted her. She touches the scar left by a certain Hyde attack in Nevermore and bites her lip. This scar was a remainder of the time she saved Wednesday from that attack, sometimes the thought of regretting her actions gnawed at her but in the end it helped her to remember the promise she made to herself when Wednesday left her.
“Mio caro corvo, spero che non dimenticherai a chi appartieni.” (My dear raven, I hope you will not forget who you belong to.) Enid whispered coldly as she walks out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her waist. If you tell anyone who knew her before that her current appearance she is Enid they would’ve scoffed at you and laughed, her current appearance was the total opposite of her jolly self. Once she was bright as the sun but now she’s as cold and cruel as the moon. Enid quickly dries herself up as she donned a black suit with gold lining at the cuffs, she doesn’t dare make the boss wait for too long.
The abilities of her being a werewolf was blessing, she doesn’t need weapons nor worry about getting hurt especially in her current choice of career where she has enemies left to right , attempts to kill her was rampant before ,until she decided that it was too annoying. Enid went to the opposing’s family alone and killed them all before sunrise. The news of her actions was quickly spread in the underworld that it stopped all attempts from enemies, some even offered her to join them promising money and power yet she ignored them.
One of her people opened the door to the car for her and she entered it gracefully, sitting on the back with her phone in her hand as she read reports sent to her by her people.
“Il solito posto? Consigliere” (The usual place? Councilor) The driver asked as Enid glanced up towards him with a raised eyebrow.
“Sì, il solito posto.”( Yes, the usual place.) Enid answered coldly as she observed the driver, This man normally doesn’t talk to her. During the ride , she kept her guard up. Anticipating any sudden actions the driver would do but nothing came when they arrived at the usual meeting place. A club owned by their family.
Another man opens the door for her and she cautiously glanced around the moment she walked of the car until she entered the door of the establishment. Enid calms herself down as she was guided to one of the private booths of the club. As she followed her guide , she glanced at the crowd enjoying their time unaware of the fact that this place is a meeting place for the mafia. She held back a scoff at their innocence and smiles mockingly as she reminded of her past self.
Her guide opens a door for her and she enters it, her boss was a weird person if she must say. He never mentioned it but she knew that he must be an outcast like herself. A hairy being he was, fully covered from head to toe in brown hair. Not a single sight of his body can be seen as they’ve covered by his hair. Often she wonders what he really looks like though she never dared to ask him.
“Capo, mi hai chiamato?”( Boss, you called for me?) Enid respectfully asked him, as the man sitting on the chair glanced at her excitedly. He was weird in all sense, normally adorning a round glasses and a bowler hat.
“Ah, mio caro consigliere. Vorrei chiederti un favore.” (Ah, my dear counselor. I would like to ask you a favor.) His voice opposite of his job and appearance. A high-pitch gibberish that oddly resembles Italian.
“Davvero un onore, in cosa posso aiutarti?” (Truly an honor, what can I help you with?) Enid answered as hairy being offered her a glass of whiskey. She sits down in front of him and accepts the drink, savoring the burning sensation of liquor as if slid down her throat.
“Vieni in America con me.” (Go to America with me.) He said as Enid froze the moment she heard his words. She didn’t expect that he would ask her such thing, it’s not like she travels to other countries for work but America was something that she doesn’t normally go to especially with her boss.
“Capo, per quale motivo? E' per la famiglia?” Enid replied curiously, as the hairy being chuckled before handing her a cut cigar in which she accepts. Placing it on her lips, her boss offered to light it up for her. She mutters her thanks as her boss leans back on the chair.
“E' per motivi personali. Una famiglia lontana sta organizzando un evento e vorrei portarvi con me.” (It's for personal reasons. A distant family is holding an event and I would like to bring you with me.) He explained as Enid nodded her head in understanding.
“Capo, non capisco perché debba farlo a me?” (Boss, I don’t understand why it does have to me ?) she asked in wonder, after all this must be a rather event as all blood-related family member’s must be in this party.
“Call me Ignatius, Enid. Haven’t we’ve known each other for a while now?” Ignatius spoke in his usual high-pitch voice but this time resembling English. Enid sighs before a small smile appears on her face.
“I believe that it would be rude of me-“
“Nonsense, aren’t we family?” Ignatius interrupted her, Enid held back the surging emotions the moment he mentioned the term family. For years, she worked under him and he called her part of his family but she tried to not to take it to heart. Being attached to something that might leave her is something she doesn’t want to feel again.
“Understood, Sir Ignatius.” She answered, clenching her jaw as she controlled herself. Ignatius laughs before taking a whiff of his cigar. The smoke lingered in air , twirling alluringly.
“You’ve done so much for the Bigodini Family, It is just right that I return the favor somehow.” He continued he glances at the blonde in front of him, a slight hint of mischief in his eyes.
“I’ve received enough from you.” Enid answered her voice cold yet the hint of gratefulness can be noticed. Ignatius smiled underneath all his hair as he continued to think about his precious child’s reward. He was reminded of the time, that he met her. His familgia was small yet with lots of enemies. During one of his lone rides he was attacked and was injured, he thought that he will die shamefully when a blonde girl rushed towards his approaching enemies. The view of her shifting into a ferocious bloodthirsty werewolf was magnificent. She teared through them ruthlessly, blood splattering everywhere. He thought that he will be next and for a second he thought death by a werewolf wasn’t such a bad way to go but consider his surprise when she merely helped him up and offered to bring him to a nearby hospital. He was so grateful that he offered her anything but all she asked was a job in which he eagerly took.
“Not enough, why don’t go to a vacation with me. Attend the event with me and go for a month long vacation.” Ignatius offered as Enid titled her head.
“I believe a month is too long.” Enid answered as she didn’t even try to change his mind, she knew her attempts to convince him would be futile.
“I believe it is adequate, aren’t you from America? Meet some old acquaintances or perhaps an old lover. Do whatever you desire during your vacation, the family is stable enough due to your efforts.” Ignatius said hinting the fact he did investigate her background.
“In that case, I shall take your offer. When do we leave?” Enid replied as she takes another whiff of her cigar. It may be nice to meet, Yoko for once… perhaps she can see if her precious raven was still alive and preferably single. The mere thought of her finding a new lover makes her want to rip that person apart in front of Wednesday.
“Tomorrow.”
“I didn’t expect to that your relatives live in New Jersey.” Enid muttered as she’s greeted by the cold gust of wind. Ignatius gestures her to follow him towards a yellow classic yet luxurious car. “A Chevrolet Impala 1964 “ She whistles at its appearance, the plate number was interesting though it spelled CUZ.
“I booked a hotel for a night, I don’t want to be early.” Ignatius mentioned as she sat beside him, she offered to drive for him but he turned down his offer while muttering that he’s the only one allowed to drive his baby.
They arrive at a hotel that was known for its service and expensive price, accustomed to luxury Enid follows him to their rooms, she specifically asked for two rooms beside each other as she wanted to make sure she would be able to respond immediately when required.
“I’ll be in my room, my wife and son are on their way as well. You are free to do whatever you want please be sure to meet me here tomorrow.” Ignatius said as Enid bowed her head towards him before entering her suite.
She sits on a leather couch glancing at her old phone, a number of her old acquaintance was visible. Contemplating if she should contact her or not. A talk is long overdue, though her friend didn’t do anything to her but actually tried to help her she didn’t want to bother her. Sighing as she grabs the wine bottle on the table and pours some on a glass.
She changed her phone number over the years but she always kept her old one with her. Deciding that she should try to contact her at least perhaps to apologize for leaving her in the dark for years. Unblocking Yoko’s number, she glanced at the sudden amount of messages and calls attempts the vampire did to her, she laughed before noticing the that the most recent received message was today.
“She didn’t even stop huh?” Enid muttered as she pressed the call button, it didn’t even ring long before it was answered immediately.
“Enid? Is this you? Are you okay? You stupid wolf ! You worried me !” The familiar voice of her best friend made her smile, a real smile.
“It is me, I am doing fine.” She answered in heavily accented English, the years she spent in Italy caused her accent to change as she adapted their language.
“You sound different, where are you? I don’t care if you don’t want to meet me but at least let me see you Wolfie.” Yoko shouted, Enid can hear her sniffling as if she’s currently crying.
“A lot has happened to me throughout the years, I don’t mind meeting you though I am in New Jersey right now for my job.” Enid answered as Yoko takes a deep breath.
“New Jersey? That’s- okay, Location though? I am nearby New Jersey anyway.” Yoko replied as Enid takes her wine glass and takes a sip.
“Borgata Hotel. Let’s meet somewhere nearby. I’ll sent you the address.” Enid said as she checked her other phone for any bar’s connected to her group nearby. Luckily there’s one just a drive away.
“Okay don’t you dare ghost me, Wolfie. I’ll be there less than hour. You better show up, Enid or I swear I’ll make you regret it.” Yoko answered as Enid raised an eyebrow in surprise.
“Don’t worry I will not run this time. See you soon, Yoko.” Enid said as she dropped the call, she glanced at the huge window that gave her the view of the city. She grabs her other phone and dials a number.
“Puoi prenotarmi un tavolo nella lounge qui vicino? Oh, una macchina.” (Can you get me a reservation for a table in the lounge nearby ? Oh, a car.) she ordered as the other person told her that the car will arrive for her in thirty minutes. She drops the call as she downs the remaining wine in her glass in one gulp.
She stands up as she changes her shirt into something else, she needs to be presentable especially she’s meeting someone from her past. One thing that changed was not only her personality but her appearance, her body was covered and scars and tattoos. A full sleeve on her left arm, her back with a spine tattoo and a tattoo around her v line that she admits swooned a couple of women and men who was lucky enough to see it.
She grabs a burgundy long sleeve shirt and puts it on, other accessories such as a gold watch and rings. She pierced her ears as well, but as her hair normally cover her ears few ever saw it. Enid glanced at the mirror in front of her observing if she’s presentable enough, her hand reaches out towards her scar once more as she reminded herself of her promise.
“Mio caro corvo, spero che non dimenticherai a chi appartieni.”
Enid found herself in VIP lounge in the club she’s supposed to meet Yoko, she asked for a couple of bottles of her favorite whiskey and some cigarette’s. From her sharp senses she can hear people dancing with the blaring club music. It used to bother her the loud noise but she learned to tolerate it throughout years. Taking a sip of her drink she reminisce of her past, she often wondered was she really that pitiful that her own lover forsaken her? What did she do wrong? Was she merely a passing fancy for the raven? Or perhaps a toy that she found amusing and had gotten tired off?
Yoko drove like her life depended on it, arriving at the location that Enid gave her she nervously entered the club. It’s been years of trying to contact her best friend, she searched the best she can asking for help for her fellow kin if they even catch a glimpse of her. Consider her surprised when Enid finally called her after three damn fucking years, for a vampire like her time was supposed to past fast but instead it was painfully slow for her , the fear and worried drowned her thoughts. She cares for the werewolf, to the point she treated her as if she was her sibling. When she heard Enid’s voice, she can’t help but tear up though she was astonished to hear her speak in a different accent. The werewolf didn’t even sound like the old her, she was a bit colder and much more serious. Taking a deep breath , she approached the room where Enid was supposed to be. A bouncer stopped her in her tracks and she tried to explain that she’s here to meet a friend. The man shakes his head and tries to keep her away.
“Per favore, non voglio finire nei guai se hai incasinato il Consigliere.”( Please I don't want to be in trouble if you messed with the Councilor.) She heard him mutter in another language. Yoko bit her lip in anger as she tried to explain that her best friend is waiting for her in that room.
“Look, You can tell the person inside that Yoko is here.” She gritted her teeth in anger as her eyes glowed red in annoyance. The man stops as he touches the earpiece on his left ear, she can see his eyes widen fearfully before apologizing towards her as he lets her in.
“Listen to me next time for fucks sake.” Yoko whispered as she entered the room, the scent of cigarette smoke greeted. Her eyes widened as she didn’t expect Enid to be smoking . The thought of actually entering the wrong room and meeting a stranger popped in her head. She stops in her tracks ready to turn around. The chairs were blocked by a curtain and she couldn’t fully see who was the person sitting inside.
“Ah, are you here Yoko?” A voice said in heavily accented English. The vampire stands up straight then she rushed towards the curtain and pulls it aside, from the voice alone she knew that it’s her best friend. Her jaw drops as she saw Enid’s current appearance, mysterious, cold yet seductive blonde. She looks so different, it’s still the same features but the aura this person excludes was cold and dangerous.
“Enid?” Yoko asked as the person sitting chuckled towards her and gestures her to sit beside her.
“I’ve changed a little right? Come and sit beside me. A talk is long overdue.” Enid replied as Yoko slowly sits beside her, still observing her appearance. The vampire is probably comprehending everything.
“A little?? I didn’t even recognize you??? What the hell happened to you ?” Yoko shouted in exasperation. Her best friends current appearance surprised the shit out of her that she almost slapped her face to see if this was a dream.
Enid merely takes a whiff of her cigarette and leans back, when she raised her arm Yoko’s eyes widened even further as she saw the tattoo on her arm.
“A tattoo? Oh my god, don’t tell me you’ve join some sort of gang!” Yoko exclaimed. Enid raised an eyebrow at her words, she didn’t expect that she would’ve guess that so fast immediately. Her silence to the vampire’s words confirmed it. The vampire grabs her collar so fast, the moment she understood the werewolf’s answer.
“Enid? You didn’t join a gang right??” Yoko shriek as she tightened her hold on Enid’s collar.
“I didn’t join a gang.” Enid answered as Yoko takes a deep breath of relief and releases her hold on her collar.
“Although it may be similar to a gang.” She continued as Yoko eyes widened then she grabbed her collar again this time much rougher. The vampire bit her lip as her eyes glowed brightly.
“Similar? Shit! A mafia??? What the fuck, Sinclair!” Yoko shouted as she stops as she made a mistake of calling the werewolf her old surname. Enid’s eyes darkened at the mention of her old family.
“I prefer the surname Bigodini.” Enid said in a cold, warning voice as Yoko releases her hold and apologizes for her mistake.
“I just didn’t expect you to do illegal stuff or joining the mafia in general.” The vampire whispers weakly, she can feel tears stinging the edge of her eyes. She finally found her best friend after years of searching only to find out that she’s gone on the wrong side of the world.
“I didn’t either but it suits me.” Enid answered as she pulls out a handkerchief from her pocket and offers it to the vampire who eagerly accepts it.
“Where have been all these years? You didn’t even contact me. Did you know how worried we were? I swear if I meet that damn bitch I’ll stab her.” Yoko cursed out loud as Enid found her amusing.
“I’ve been living in Italy. I wanted some peace of mind so I decided to go no contact with anyone.” The werewolf explained as she fills another glass with whiskey and offers it to Yoko.
“No wonder, I couldn’t find you. I’ve been searching in the wrong continent.” The vampire mutters in annoyance as she accepts the glass of whiskey.
“I didn’t expect you to be a whiskey enjoyer though.” She added as she glanced at the half-empty bottle of whiskey on the table.
“Acquired the taste for it during my stay in Italy, I personally prefer red wine but this place doesn’t have my favorite one so I went for whiskey.” Enid casually explained as Yoko downs the glass in one gulp.
“You won’t go and leave me again won’t you?” Yoko asked weakly as Enid leans on her hand in a teasing manner she answered.
“Why would you be sad? Aren’t you afraid of meddling someone associated with the mafia?” Yoko glares at her words.
“Of course, I’ll be fucking sad. I couldn’t care regardless of you being associated with the mafia. Tanaka are connected to the Yakuza anyways. I was just worried of you getting hurt and all that.” The vampire grumbled as Enid chuckled.
“Hm, You’re allowed to visit me anytime I’m free in Italy. I’m only here because the boss asked me to join him for a vacation.” The blonde replied as Yoko takes a deep breath.
“A vacation huh? Out of all places New Jersey though.” The vampire said as she leans forwards to pour herself some whiskey. “That I have no idea at all.”
“What your plans now ?” Yoko asked curiously as a cold smirk formed on Enid’s face. The vampire shivered at the sight.
“I don’t know, perhaps I should go and hunt myself a raven to keep as a pet.” Enid answered as Yoko swore she paled even further as vampire can as the werewolf words confirmed her thoughts.
“Enid, you would love my relatives!” Ignatius exclaimed as Enid sat in the back of his car beside his son. In front sat his lovely wife Margaret. She met them a couple of times before when they visited Italy, her precious boss doesn’t normally stay in the country after all. His son has his appearance. Fully covered in hair from head to toe.
“I am looking forward to meet your relatives, are they perhaps part of Bigodini Family?” Enid asked as Ignatuis shakes his head.
“They’re not, After all the Addams are entirely separated when it comes to Mafia but I do consider them as honorable members.” Ignatius explained as Enid was stunned at what surname she just heard.
“Pardon? Can you just repeat what you just said?” Enid asked her tone obviously shaken. She didn’t expect that fate can be so cruel, she was left behind by an Addams and only to be taken in by another Addams. She wants to laugh at herself, what a fucking joke.
“The Addams Family! If I remember right you mentioned once that you went to Nevermore, perhaps you may be acquainted to Wednesday?” Ignatuis asked, his eyes carefully observing her reaction from the rear view mirror.
“I guess you can say I knew her but we aren’t that close anymore.” Enid explained coldly as she internally cursed herself.
“Ah, such a shame. But I suggest you enjoy yourself , this is once a decade event for the family.” Ignatius exclaimed.
“I would like to ask you a favor to call me under a different name when I’m there and don’t mention of my past to Wednesday or anyone else.” Enid asked Ignatius who steps on the breaks suddenly and turns around.
“Why?” he asked curiosity in his tone and manner.
“Consider it starting a new.” Enid explained as Ignatius titled his head before laughing out loud. “I see , what should we call you then? He asked amused.
“Lupa Bigodini.” Enid answered as Ignatius laughed once more. “ We shall call you that then. Ah, my family calls me Cousin Itt.”
“Cousin Itt?” the werewolf repeated as she finds the name weird. “ Ignatius Itt at your service. Bigodini was a name I’ve made for the family.”
“Are they perhaps aware of our family’s occupation?”
“Fully aware and exhilarated!”
“Dying of jealousy if I may add.” Margaret added with a gleeful smile on her face.
She stands in front of the familiar Addams Manor, she’s been here many times before. She admits she does miss the members of this family. They’ve always treated like she was part of their family. Enid wonders if they missed her at all or perhaps they’ve forgotten her all these years.
“Nothing has changed huh?” she muttered under her breath as she observed the surroundings. Before Ignatius could even knock on the door, it slammed open and a man wearing a suit ran towards him.
“Cousin Itt! Margaret! What!” He exclaimed as he reached out for a hug towards her boss, she stood behind them. “You’re loathful as always, Gomez.” Ignatius said as Gomez laughed. He approaches Margeret and respectfully kisses her hand like a gentleman and proceeds to hug What.
Then his gaze falls on her, she can see that he’s shaken by her appearance. “Enid?” he muttered as Enid gave him a cold smile and shakes her head.
“Temo che tu mi abbia scambiato per un'altra persona.” (I fear you mistook me for another person.) The blonde said in Italian which surprised Gomez.
“Lupa Bigodini, Davvero un piacere conoscerti.” (Truly a pleasure to meet you) she continued as Gomez tried to calm himself down.
“Apologies, you look like someone I knew and missed so much.” Gomez said with sad smile, Enid holds a hand out for a handshake.
“None taken, Signore.” Enid said as Gomez accepted her hand. She made sure to thicken her accent than usual. Gomez smiles again and turns back as Lurch took their luggage from their car .
“A rather impressive manor you’ve got here, Signore?” Enid said as she titled her head as she asked Gomez for his name as if she never knew him.
Gomez glances at her one more time sadness can be seen on his face yet he still answered her. “Gomez Addams, dear. Please call me Gomez.”
“Signore Gomez.” Enid said respectfully, as the man visibly flinched. “I haven’t you seen before, are you part of the Bigodini Family?” Gomez asked her.
“Si signore. Sto con la famiglia ormai da molto tempo.” (Yes, Sir. I've been with the family for a long time now.) Enid answered as Gomez still studied her appearance. She folded her long black sleeve , showing off her tattoos and scars.
“You speak Italian rather well.” Gomez mentioned as Enid gave him a small smile for his compliment.
“Se preferisci posso parlare inglese.” (If you prefer I can speak English.) The blonde offered only for Gomez to shake his head.
“Dear Lupa, You can speak in a way you prefer. Our family can speak and understand Italian.” Gomez explained, Enid can feel her heart beating faster as the man in front him basically implied that she’s part of the family now.
“Your family are rather impressive ,Signore.” She answered carefully testing his boundaries.
“Ha! Don’t act like a stranger dear! You are Cousin Itt’s family now, right? You are still part of the Addams then!” Gomez exclaimed as Enid gulps. He still thinks I’m family huh? It’s obvious that he had an idea of who really she is and adapted.
“Such an honor.” She said with a bow, when suddenly she felt like something was thrown towards her. She immediately catches the axe the was thrown towards her head, a single line of blood appeared by her right cheek. Reaching out to touch her wound, she can feel it healing immediately.
“Enid! You’re back!” A voice shouted happily, she glances towards the person who threw the axe and saw a familiar boy, perhaps a young man now. Pugsley.
“Presumo che tu abbia riconosciuto la persona sbagliata.” (I presume, you recognized the wrong person.) Enid said in a cold voice. Pugsley who was dashing towards her stopped in his tracks as he studied her appearance.
“Ah, there’s no wa- I see, You’re not her. I’m sorry. “ Pugsley who was obviously shaken and confused apologized towards her. Enid merely handed him the axe in which he accepted trembling.
“Senza offesa, ti consiglio di controllare prima la prossima volta.” (No offense taken, I suggest you check first next time.) Enid said as she grabs a handkerchief and cleans the blood from her face.
“I am Lupa Bigodini, A member of Sir Ignatius Family.” She continued as she spoke in heavily accented English.
“Lupa? Cousin Itt’s family? Oh! The mafia! That’s so cool!” Pugsley exclaimed as he continued to observe her appearance. Everything about is different from the Enid he knew , this one stinks of blood and as cold of ice while the other one is as gentle and bright as the sun.
“If you mind, may I ask what your name?” she asked him as if she hasn’t met him before.
Pugsley visibly trembled at her words, the way she’s acting hurts him. “ Pugsley Addams. It’s nice to meet you.” He answered as he desperately gaze towards her eyes.
She gave him a serious yet respectful smile as she spoke gently. “May I ask where is my room?”
“Sure! Let me show you!” he exclaimed happily.
As Enid followed behind the young Addams she can help but reminisce about this place, so many precious memories in this place. It hurts to think that Wednesday didn’t think the same as her.
She stopped in front of familiar door and trembled, she wants to scream and react violently but she held herself back. In front of her was the room of her old room that she stayed in when she was staying over here during the early years of their relation and just beside this room was a certain raven’s room.
“Uh, we didn’t expect that Cousin Itt would bring someone over. So this is the only available room we have at the moment.” Pugsley nervously explained as if she’s afraid of her reaction.
She gave him the same smile as earlier and spoke in a gentle tone. ” Non mi dispiace, spero che questa stanza non appartenga a qualcuno altrimenti mi sentirei un'intrusione.” (I don't mind, I hope this room doesn't belong to somebody or I would feel like I am intruding.) She opened the door and the familiar room was like she never left. The same decoration and same bed sheet except that it seemed like it was kept tidy by someone regularly.
“Someone important to us owns this room but I don’t think she would mind if you borrow it for a couple of days.” Pugsley muttered.
“Allora le chiedo comprensione ma ti dispiace se chiedo il cambio delle lenzuola? Non sono un grande fan del colore rosa.” (Then I ask for her understanding but do you mind if I ask for a change of bed sheets? I am not a big fan of the color pink.) Enid asked Pugsley who just smiles at her sadly before speaking.
“You’re Enid right?” He asked weakly, tears seem to appear on his face. Enid can feel her heart aching as she saw the desperation on his face.
“I apologize but I do not know anyone named Enid, It seems like I look similar to her?” she said as Pugsley cried in front of her. “I’m sorry for causing you distress but I am not acquainted with her.” She continued as she lied to the young man.
“You’re lying, you have the same scars on your face like her! Please tell me you’re just messing with us.” Pugsley pleaded with her. Enid can hear her heart break even further as he spoke.
“I have many scars like this due to my profession, child. I apologize but I am not the person you are looking for.” She explained as gentle as possible. Pugsley continued to wail in front of her and she watched as he slowly calmed down.
“I’m sorry for disturbing you, I’ll come again later to guide you back when the party starts. I’ll ask Lurch to give you bedsheets later.” He muttered weakly as he wiped his tears and snot from his face.
“Grazie, Pugsley.” (Thank you). She said as the young man closed the door. Taking a deep breath she glanced around her old room, she sits on the bed and freezes as she noticed the scent of her beloved raven on her bed as if she laid here recently.
“Impossible, she despises the old me.” She muttered under her breath , glancing at the corner of the room she noticed her luggage carefully placed. “It seems Lurch noticed that it was me huh?”
She lays down on the bed and laughs coldly. “Oh my dearest Raven, I can’t help but be excited to see your face when you see the new me.”
When Lurch came and replaced her bedsheets, she couldn’t help but make a mistake when she spoked to him. “Thanks Lurch.” She said as the huge man groaned at her then left her room. She was too casual with him, for years she mastered her ability to manipulate and act like another person but by being here in this godforsaken manor muddled her ability. It’s true she misses the people in this place but she can’t make any mistakes now.
"Dai, tieniti sotto controllo." ( Come on, keep your shit together.) she muttered under her breath as she stood in front of the mirror. She wore a black backless Italian suit with gold embroidery, specifically made to her tastes. Touching the embroidered raven on her cuff she smiled cruelly.
A knock from the door grabbed her attention, she checks her appearance one last time before proceeding to walkout of the door. She was greeted by Pugsley wearing a suit as well.
“Grazie per aver dedicato del tempo per venirmi a prendere.” ( Thank you for taking your time to pick me up.)
The young merely glanced at her astounded after her current clothes was so different from the old her. “Wow, you look so different.” He muttered weakly.
“Dovremmo andare ? I can’t wait to meet the rest of your famiglia” (Should we go?) Enid asked as Pugsley nodded his head and guided her to the ball room. Though Enid knew this place like the back of her hand, she had to act like she had no idea about this manor. She listened carefully to the young man who eagerly showed her around as they walked.
“This Enid person you and your father kept confusing me about. Was she related to your kin?” Enid asked Pugsley as he froze before turning his head towards her direction.
“To my sister she was a lover, for my father and mother she was their daughter, for Pubert and me she was an irreplaceable best friend.” Pugsley answered seriously as she saw glimpse of longing in his eyes.
“I understand, what happened to her? Did she leave or perhaps died?” Enid continued asking , Pugsley glared at her at the notion of her death.
“Enid is not dead, no matter how much my sister may had hurt her and killed her heart . You’re still standing in front me alive.” Pugsley told her in anger.
“I apologize for my rude words, but please do not confuse her with me anymore.” Enid gently said but her eyes were cold as ice. It pierced through Pugsley’s soul cold enough to quench his fury.
“Sorry, Lupa.” Pugsley muttered as Enid answered “Apology accepted.”
“ We are here, I hope you enjoy the party. Cousin Itt is probably by the drinking station with my father and Uncle Fester.” Pugsley said as he hurriedly ran away from her. She held back a laugh as she searched through the crowd for her boss, only to spot him beside Gomez and Morticia. She steeled her nerves as she knew that Morticia will see through her lies in an instance no matter how much she tried but it doesn’t mean she should stop pretending to not know them.
“Capo, sono qui. Ti dispiacerebbe presentarmi questa adorabile signora?” (Boss, I am here. Do you mind to introduce me to this lovely lady ?) Enid said as she stood beside Ignatius, her tone cold and respectful. She saw Morticia’s eyes widen at the sight of her, she clenched her jaw as she expected the older woman to say her real name.
“Enid?” Morticia muttered, as Enid bowed her head and asked for hand like a gentleman would do. In a daze Morticia reached her hand out to Enid as she gently kissed the back of hand.
“No, signora. Sono Lupa Bigodini, Consigliere di Bigodini Famiglia. È davvero un piacere conoscerti, anche se apprezzerei se non mi confondessi con un'altra persona.” (No, Lady. I am Lupa Bigodini ,Councilor of Bigodini Family. Truly a pleasure to meet you though I would appreciate if you dont confused me with another person.) Enid explained as she lets go of Morticia’s hand.
Morticia observed the blonde in front of her, she looks like Enid even the scar on her face was the same location as their daughter’s ex-lover but the aura and tone of voice was different. This one was cold, stinks like murder and blood. “Apologies, you look like someone we knew.” Morticia answered.
“Morticia Addams, A displeasure to meet you.” She said as her mind tried to search for any signs that can prove that this person is truly their Enid.
“Senza offesa, signora Morticia. Sono piuttosto onorato di poter essere in questo posto.” (No offense taken, Mrs. Morticia. I am rather honored that I am allowed to be in this place.) The werewolf replied with a cold, fake smile.
“You’re part of Cousin Itt’s Family? It’s the first time I’ve seen you here.” Morticia said with a smile on her face, her eyes though discerning any falsehoods from Enid.
“I’ve mentioned her to you last time ! The werewolf who ripped apart the family’s enemies ruthlessly.” Ignatius interrupted as Morticia raised an eyebrow and Gomez smiled in glee.
“A werewolf? Such a coincidence.” Morticia said with a knowing smile on her face. Enid cursed as she knew her cover was blown quickly.
“Was the person that you confused me with really similar to me?” Enid tested their reactions and answer.
“Indeed from appearance and the scars even the fact that she was a werewolf.” Morticia answered.
“Spero che la troverai presto.” (I hope you find her soon.)
Wednesday wasn’t such in a good mood, she didn’t want to attend the family’s reunion. She would rather search for the person she left behind years ago due to her fear and idiocy. Her precious Enid, she remembered the night she told her that they should separate. If she can go back to time, she wished that she could stab the old her the moment they started thinking about their relationship like that. She regretted it too late, after two weeks of thinking she decided that she should apologize for her words and try to ask the werewolf for a chance no matter how long it takes but she was greeted by the sight of an empty apartment.
There was not a single sign of someone who used to lived there. Desperately she went to Yoko, who was her lover’s best friend but she was greeted with a slap so hard that she tasted blood in her mouth. She deserved that admittedly. That day from the vampire’s shouts of anger, she learned that Enid disappeared. Wednesday remembered the searing pain from her heart as the thought of Enid gone, she went home and begged for help from her family as she explained what she did to their relationship. They were furious, It took her a year to make Pugsley talk to her again. Pubert called out all her wrong doings cold and straight to the point yet she accepted all of it. She was foolish, fearing the change that Enid brought to her life made her think that she getting weaker…soft.
Even her parents were disappointed by her actions but they still tried their best to search for the werewolf’s whereabouts but even when she tried to call Enid’s number nothing came through. Every day she travelled around searching for any sign of Enid’s presence. If it wasn’t for this party she would’ve drove around the city searching Enid once again.
She wore a black dress as she walked towards the ball room, she looked around and saw her parent’s and decided to approach them only to stop on her tracks when she saw a blonde woman near them.
Her heart stopped, her breath hitched. Her whole body froze in place, taking a deep breath she ran towards them. In a desperate voice she called the woman. “Enid !“ she stopped in front of the blonde who merely glanced at her like she didn’t know her. No, she must be acting like she doesn’t know me.
“Mi scusi? Penso che tu abbia preso la persona sbagliata.” (Excuse me? I think you've got the wrong person.) The woman answered in a confused voice. Wednesday heart dropped when she observed the woman in front of her. She looks like her Enid, same scars but she doesn’t feel like Enid. This one has the stench of blood around her and a cold, emotionless face.
“Enid, Please don’t act like this.” Wednesday pleaded, she hoped that Enid was merely messing with her for revenge.
“Signora , penso che mi abbia davvero confuso con un'altra persona. Mi chiamo Lupa Bigodini, Consigliere della famiglia Bigodini.” (Miss, I think you've really confused me with another person. My name is Lupa Bigodini , the Counselor of the Bigodini family.)
With every word, Wednesday’s heart broke even further. This person looks like her Enid but it doesn’t seem to be her anymore. The accent, the presence this was merely a stranger wearing her beloved’s appearance. What had she done?
Tears flowed down her face, as the blonde eye’s widened and offer her a black handkerchief. “Mi scuso se il mio aspetto ti ha fatto ricordare qualcuno che una volta amavi, ma non sono lei. Bella signora.” (I apologize if my appearance made you remember someone you once loved but I am not her. Pretty lady.)
“Enid please it doesn’t matter if you hate me or curse at me, just don’t pretend you don’t know me.” Wednesday pleaded with her , waiting for any reaction from the blonde yet nothing came but pity and nonchalance.
“Miss, I am not the person you are looking for.” The woman said in apologetic manner before turning around to grab some drinks from the table. Wednesday tried to grab her sleeves but her father stopped her.
“What are you doing? Let me go, I need to talk to her.” She snapped towards her father.
“Little Viper, Don’t be rash.” He warned her as Wednesday stops and takes a deep breath, she followed his instructions and merely observed the blonde woman throughout the night. Halting any attempts from approaching her and kissing her.
She doesn’t have the right anymore to kiss her lips, to basked in her touch but it doesn’t stop the surging emotions in her heart. Oh, how much she yearned to see her again, all the things she would do just to merely catch a glimpse of her face once more.
When Enid heard her precious raven’s voice, she knew she had to focus on acting like she didn’t knew her. The moment she turned around she was greeted by the face of the woman who broke her, she should furious but all she felt was the intensity of her heart yearning for her once more.
How long has it been? How she wants to grab her right there and hide her away from the rest of the world. She wants Wednesday to be hers alone. She wonders if any other person had touched her skin, kissed those luscious lips. Did she moan their name? Did she let any man claim her as theirs? Dangerous thoughts filled her mind. It took her every ounce of her power to keep control of her rising emotions.
The way Wednesday pleaded with tears in her eyes, awakened something dark inside her. How she wanted to hear her cries as she laid on her bed naked, desperate for her touch. Every minute that passed by made her feel like she couldn’t hold back anymore. Deciding to leave and grab something to drink to calm down, if she stayed longer she would’ve pounced on her and feasted on her lips for everyone to see.
The party ended with the scene of various family member’s drunk or bruised, Enid was amused. She heard stories about this event from Wednesday and Pugsley before but seeing it with her own eyes was even more entertaining. She chuckled as she tried to ignore the piercing stare coming from the brunette from the other side of the room. Enid felt a tap on her shoulder and was surprised to see an appendage walking around.
“Oh mio Dio, che diavolo è quello? Una mano?” (Oh my god, what the hell is that? A hand?) The werewolf exclaimed as if she never saw Thing before. The appendage gestured towards her but she pretended to not understand him.
“Scusa, ma non riesco a capirti. Sei piuttosto interessante però.” (Sorry, But I can't understand you. You're quite interesting though.) She said as tries to pat the hand. She glanced at her raven again this time she got caught staring at her. A smirk appears on her face as she raised the glass beside her.
“Ti piace guardarmi?” (Do you like watching me?) she mouthed, she knew that the raven would be able to read her lips from that distance. She saw the way her eyes changed, Enid smirk grew bigger and colder as she gulped her drink down making sure to keep her gaze on the brunette. Finishing the drink, she licked her lips seductively. The way Wednesday clenched her fist made her chuckle. She’s gotten more easier to read now, like an open book. The raven was vulnerable.
Enid finds Ignatius who was busy laughing with another relative and tells him that she’s done for the night and would like to go back to rest. He allows her and tells her to be ready for breakfast tomorrow.
The werewolf walked out of the room, carefully controlling her pace as she knew the raven will follow her. Sensing the brunette sneaking behind her as she walked to her room , a plan slowly brewed in her mind. She arrives in front her door and enters it.
Deciding that she would take a shower and tease the raven who would probably attempt to sneak inside of the room is an amazing idea to gauge her current interest on her. Perhaps she would be able to get a taste of her.
Shedding her clothes off and placing it on the chair near the bed, she walked inside the shower to take an icy cold shower to tone down her excitement.
She got fucking caught observing the blonde who claims she’s not her Enid, No matter how much she tries to deny it something inside her knew that she’s her beloved werewolf. The way the bastard teased her snapped something deep in her body. She can’t deny her appearance was way more suited to taste but it wasn’t Enid she knew. This version of her was cold, manipulative and ruthless. If the love that Enid gave her was untainted this one was tainted beyond recognition. She projects an aura of domination, something much bestial yet cruel.
Seeing her walked out of the room, she carefully followed behind her. If it wasn’t for the fact she was trained by Uncle Fester to hide her presence and steps she would’ve been noticed. Observing as the blonde walked like she knew place like the back of hand confirmed her suspicions that this was really Enid. She held back a gasp as this person entered her Enid’s room like it was hers.
“It’s really you.” She muttered as she stood in front of the door, her thoughts were running wild. The sound of her heart beating faster as her hand trembled in fear and relief. Her Enid was alive, she was alive and is currently inside of the room in front of her. What should she do? What should she say? Should she beg for mercy? That’s unbecoming of her but it might be the only way for her Enid to actually give her a chance. What if Enid kills her? That’s a reward at this point for her but what if Enid doesn’t even acknowledge her presence? That’s torment beyond anything this realm.
Taking another deep breath she carefully opens the door, surprised that is wasn’t even locked. Slowly she opens it and slips in. Noticing that the old pink sheets was replaced by black bed sheets her eyes darkened. Does she no longer like pink? Her heart broke as the goth felt all the changes that Enid went through was probably due to her words. If she can make a deal with Chronos himself so she can back in time she would do it.
She can hear someone taking a shower, a singing voice can be heard . Wednesday listened carefully as she heard song the blonde was singing.
(AN: This song is Måneskin - LA PAURA DEL BUIO)
With every word she heard, she knew that it was message meant for her. Biting her lips until it bleed she was lost in daze that she didn’t noticed the door to the bathroom opening. Enid was greeted by the sight of a frozen Wednesday standing by the door.
“Non mi aspettavo che fossi un guardone. Sei un po' pervertito, vero?” (I didn't expect you to be a peeping tom. You're a little pervert aren't you?) Enid voice snapped the goth awake from her thoughts. The sight of the blonde wearing nothing but a black silk robe was enough to make her brain short-circuit.
“Why are you acting like an innocent lady? You sneak into my room and expect me to be wearing something presentable?” Enid said in a teasing manner as Wednesday can feel the blood rushing up her cheeks. She tried to avoid from glancing at now smirking werewolf’s seductive appearance.
“Oh, sono così sgradevole che distogli lo sguardo da me?” (Oh, am I that unsightly that you turn your gaze away from me?)
“No io sono-“ (No, I am-) Wednesday choked on her words as Enid steps closer towards her.
“Tu cosa sei, tesoro?” (You are what, Darling?) Enid whispered seductively as she touches her the raven’s chin forcing her to look at her face.
“timida?” (Shy?) Wednesday averted her gaze as the cold and dominating gaze of the werewolf was becoming unbearable.
“Non mi aspettavo che fossi così timido adesso. Prima mi hai praticamente spogliato con gli occhi.” (I didn't expect that you be so shy now. You practically undressing me with your eyes earlier.)
“But before that, May I ask for your name?” Enid asked Wednesday whose heart stopped at the way her werewolf was acting towards her. “Enid, please I beg of you don’t act like you don’t know me.” Wednesday whispered as she can feel her tears pooling at the corner of her eyes.
“I am not Enid, My name is Lupa Bigodini.” Enid said in a warning tone as she tightened her hold on Wednesday’s face. “Now can you please tell me your name?” she continued as Wednesday tears flowed down her pale skin.
“Wednesday Friday Addams.” The raven whispered as Enid smirked, she lets go of the goth’s face and turns around to grab some clothes to change into.
“Non è stato difficile, vero?” (That wasn't hard, was it not?) Enid whispered, she glances behind her to see the goth silently crying. She sighs and steps closer to her.
“Faresti la brava ragazza e smetteresti di piangere?” (Would you be a good girl and stop crying?) Enid said as she reached out and tried to wipe the tears away with her hand.
“Anche se non mi importa se piangi mentre ti scopo sul letto.” (Though I don't mind if you're crying as I fuck you on the bed.) she continued as she licks the tear on her finger suggestively.
“Le tue lacrime hanno un sapore dolce.” (Your tears taste sweet.) she said as Wednesday bit her lower lip. This werewolf knew the power she holds over and knows exactly how to use it.
“Now if you don’t mind , I would like to change my clothes in peace.” Enid said as she gestured towards the door. Wednesday glared towards her as she wiped the tears on her face.
“puoi lasciarmi spiegare prima?” (can you let me explain first?) Wednesday rebutted as the werewolf merely raised an eyebrow. The memory from the past when the raven said something similar before she broke up with her.
“Tesoro, l'unico momento in cui ti è permesso parlare in questa stanza è quando mi implori di smetterla. Vattene mentre avrò un minimo di controllo.” Darling, the only time you're allowed to speak in this room is when you beg me to stop. Leave while I have any sense of control. Enid said coldly as she glared towards the raven as a warning.
“Non me ne andrò finché non me lo permetterai.”( I won't leave until you let me.) Wednesday stood on her ground challenging the werewolf’s patience.
“You love seeking danger, don’t you?” Enid growled as her eyes darkened, she grabbed Wednesday and tossed her onto the bed. Roughly ,she seized her wrist and pinned it above her head, effectively trapping her.
Leaning forward until their noses barely touched, the werewolf whispered “Farò in modo che il dolore sia pari al piacere che sto per darti.” (I'll make sure that the pain will equal the pleasure I am about to give you.)
“Let me go.” Wednesday warned ,struggling to get out of the werewolf’s hold. She glared at Enid, while something deep inside finds this all exciting. The dominant and ruthless Enid was truly sight to behold and worship.
“I warned you, little raven and you didn’t listen.” Enid answered ,back her voice full of lust and possessiveness. “Bad girls like you deserved to be punished you know?”
Enid kissed her roughly, their lips clashing with an intense passion. Wednesday, stubborn as ever, bit Enid’s lip, drawing a small gasp of pain and anger from the werewolf. Enid’s eyes darkened further, her rage mixing with desire.
“You’re going to regret that.” Enid growled. Her other hand slid down between Wednesday’s legs, her fingers tracing the goth’s skin in a slow yet sensual manner on her inner thighs. Wednesday shivered, the sensation sending a mix of excitement through her body.
Enid’s touch grew braver, her fingers inching closer, teasingly slow, as she maintained her firm grip on Wednesday’s wrist. “Vediamo per quanto tempo riuscirai a mantenere questo atteggiamento” (Let’s see how long you can keep that attitude) she whispered, her breath hot against Wednesday’s skin.
Teasingly she caressed the cloth that prevented her finger from directly touching the raven’s core. Wednesday held back a moan as Enid roughly kissed her neck while her other finger teased her lower entrance. “I’ll stop when you ask me to stop.” Enid whispered as she left a hickey on the brunette’s neck. Sliding in her hand under the goth’s lace underwear, as she traced her fingers against her outer lower lips. The raven let out a muffled moan as the warmth and touch of the werewolf sent another wave of arousement through her entire body.
“We barely even started and you’re already so wet, Darling.” The blonde teased the brunette. She continued to rub her lower lips slowly eliciting more moans from the raven.
“Dimmi se devo fermarmi” (Tell me if I should stop.) Enid muttered softly as more cries of passion was heard from Wednesday who was breathing heavily.
“Speak, should I stop or continue?” The werewolf commanded the raven who was in dazed from the pleasure she’s currently receiving. The silence triggered the limit of the werewolf’s patience as she reached out and bit Wednesday’s collar bone roughly. Enid expected a cry of pain but was surprised to hear loud moan of pleasure instead.
“Piccola troia.” (You little slut.) she said amused as Wednesday whispered weakly. “Please, don’t stop.” A cruel smirk appears on the werewolf’s face as she removes her grip on the raven’s wrist. While removing the hand between the goth’s legs.
“Lick it.” She commanded Wednesday as puts her finger in front of her face, they’ve never made love like this before. It was always slow and sensual lovemaking, soft and gentle perhaps she was too gentle with this slut of hers before. If she knew that she would prefer rough sex, she would’ve done it a long time ago.
Wednesday followed her orders, and eagerly licked her fingers. Putting inside her mouth making sure that its soaked enough, the mere thought of her beloved werewolf’s pounding her with her long finger’s roughly and without care was enough to raise her excitement to levels she’d never felt before.
“Brava ragazza.” (Good girl) Enid whispered as she caressed her head with her other hand. She pulls her finger out of the raven’s mouth.
“Once we start, don’t tell me to stop.” Enid warned as she used her other hand to rip the goth’s lace underwear apart.
Without hesitation she slid two fingers in, making Wednesday moan in pain and pleasure. The raven wraps her arms around her head as the werewolf ruthlessly plunged her fingers inside her in a fast pace. The sounds of moans echoed throughout the room followed by the sounds of wet flesh.
“More.” Wednesday moaned as Enid can felt her hugging her tighter her nails scratched her back, slowly piercing through skin. The werewolf obeyed her words as she fastened her pace.
Wednesday can feel she about to reach her climax as she bit the blonde’s shoulder until it bled. Enid can feel the walls of the raven tighten as she kept her pace rough yet fast. The moment she felt the walls clenched her fingers, and the loud muffled moan that came out of Wednesday mouth as she bit her shoulder harder. She knew that the raven came.
Pulling out her finger slowly she raised her soaked hand towards her mouth and licked it slowly as Wednesday gulped at the sight.
“You’re quite amusing, who the hell lets a person they’ve met for the first time finger her?” Enid asked out loud as Wednesday glared at her.
“You’re not a just any stranger, you’re my Enid” she spat back as Enid laughed out loud clearly amused.
“I see that’s your kind of role play, huh?” the blonde whispered “ I’ll go along with it, La mia puttana” (My bitch)
“Vediamo se riesci a resistere tutta la notte senza svenire.” (Let's see if you can last all night without fainting.) She seductively whispered as she positions her head between Wednesday’s legs.
“ Buon appetite”
Wednesday woke in agony, her whole body ached from head to toe. She feel bruises all over skin from bites to scratches. The memory of last’s nights event flashed through her mind and can feel heat going up on her face. She glanced around the room but was surprised to see herself laying down on her own bed room. Panicking she ran towards the mirror to check on her body , she fears that everything that happened all night including meeting Enid wasn’t just a dream. Taking a deep relieved sigh, she carefully caressed the bite mark on her collar bone. It stings to touch but she didn’t mind as it was a proof that Enid is back. Finally, she’s able to apologize for her mistake.
Running towards her bathroom, she studied her the marks littered all of her body. Every mark a memory appeared in her mind. Every moan, every kiss, every touch and every dirty talk. She can feel herself getting excited at the mere thought. Immediately turning on the knob for the shower, dousing herself in icy cold water.
After taking a shower and making sure she’s presentable she knocked on Enid’s door, but no one answered her. Anxiously she ran towards the dining room to check if her beloved wolf was still there. Pugsley greeted her while Pubert offered her a cup of black coffee.
“Where’s she?” she asked them as Pugsley merely pointed towards the garden, rushing towards garden she was astonished to see Enid holding a hunting riffle aimed towards one of the targets. Beside her were her parents and Cousin Itt with his wife.
“Normally, Lupa prefers to fight with her claws but she’s quite exceptional with guns.” Cousin Itt explained as Enid shot the target perfect in the middle. Gomez noticed her appearance and immediately beckoned her to come closer.
“Little Viper! Would you like to join our little bet?” Gomez enthusiastically asked her, it was definitely an smart idea for her to wear a turtle neck today. The battle scars of their love making last night was eye-catching. Glancing towards the werewolf who bravely wore a white long-sleeve, The marks around her neck weren’t that obvious. Damn werewolf regeneration.
“A bet? What are you betting on?” Wednesday asked her eyes sneaking a peek towards the blonde who is currently reloading the riffle before aiming at the target.
“The loser owes the winner a favor.” Cousin Itt said as Wednesday smirked, she points her finger towards Enid.
“Can I go against her?” She asked, as Gomez grinned while Cousin Itt laughed. Morticia watched them amused.
“Did you hear that Lupa? She wants to have a round against you.” Gomez said as Wednesday watched her father in wonder, he didn’t expect that he would actually go along with her beloved’s play of pretending to be someone else.
“Forte e chiaro, il migliore dei tre?”( Loud and clear, Best out of three?)Enid offered as Wednesday grabbed the other hunting riffle on the table confidently.
“Prepare to lose, Lupa.” Wednesday growled towards Enid who merely smirked at her, this little raven of her is quite feisty isn’t she?
“Gioco per perdere, piccolo corvo.” (I don’t play to lose, little raven.) Enid said as Gomez explained the rules.
“Each player would shoot three bullets, the first one to shoot would be decided by a coin toss.”
“Shall play it the Addams way?” Wednesday asked as Gomez grinned towards her while Enid tilted her head in confusion.
“Of course, play dirty as much as you desire.” He continued as Enid eye’s widened at the new rule before smirking towards the goth.
“Heads or Tails?” Gomez asked while Enid merely gesturing her towards Wednesday. “ Ladies first.” She mouthed.
“Heads.” Wednesday said as Enid merely said .” Tails for me then.”
Gomez flips the coin in the air and expertly catches it with one hand, he dramatically bows as he showed the coin.
“Werewolf first.” Wednesday said playfully as Enid grabbed her gun before checking the bullet is correctly loaded. The blonde positioned herself as she prepared to aim at the target.
When suddenly she felt arms wrapping her waist. Despite their height difference, Wednesday managed to reach her ears. “Can you miss this shot for me, Lupa?” she whispered seductively as Gomez and Cousin Itt whistled in amusement.
“Honey trap? I didn’t expect to see our daughter to actually use that technique.” Morticia exclaimed as Margaret gasped.
Enid bit her lip as she can feel how naughty the raven is acting, her hands suggestively caressing her body while gently bit her earlobe.
“Quando hai detto gioca sporco non intendevo questo tipo di sporco.” (When you said play dirty I didn’t mean this type of dirty.) Enid growled as she focused on aiming the target.
“Lupo mio, perché non mi fai un favore?”( My wolf, why don’t you do me a favor ?) Wednesday whispered once more as her hand’s barely touched her under boobs.
Enid takes a deep breath as she focused on ignoring the raven, when she felt that she aimed perfectly she pulled the trigger and the bullet hit the target right on the middle. She smirked proudly when she noticed Wednesday eyes darken.
“Didn’t even work?” Wednesday muttered as she decided to take it up a notch. For the second shot Enid can feel her self-control wavering , the raven’s hand was more aggressive. She can even feel her breasts purposely rubbing against her back.
“Can’t you just miss this shot for me?” Wednesday said even more seductively as Gomez’s jaw dropped from what he’s seeing. He would never he’d expect to see he’s daughter purposely seducing someone right in front of him.
She licks her earlobe before gently biting it, as Enid pulled the trigger. She cursed internally as she knew she missed the middle. The bullet hit the second inner circle this time which caused the raven to smile at her small victory.
“Non hai paura quando è il tuo turno di sparare?” (Aren't you afraid when it's your turn to shoot?)
"No, I love the thrill."
Chapter 2: Drive me insane (I beg of you)
Summary:
Enid, Enid, Enid, all that was inside her mind was her name. Again. And again. And again. Her name plague her mind like an infection, the raven’s hand trembled as she reached out for the cigarette, inhaling the poison stick and exhaling its fumes.
Her Enid gone, Lupa replaced her. Cold and indifferent.
Notes:
Uh Hi? I know this is so super late but the recent season just gave me a slight push to write (when I meant slight push I mean I wrote from 2 am to 7 am straight) Look, I know it’s been such a long time since I updated this story and all of my stories actually but here I am! I’m currently writing more of the other chapters of all my fics. Like for Like Lovers Do is around 75% done for the next chapter, while the rest are stuck on 50%. I’m really sorry for making you guys wait. I’ve been really busy with my university (I am a law student) that I wasn’t really able to indulge in my guilty pleasures (writing and drawing).
• So First I decided to extend this fic to 3-5 chapters at least. The chapters are actually longer than my usual chapters in other fics, so this one takes more time.
• Second, English isn’t my first language, so forgive me if I make a lot of grammar mistakes and stuff. I am still practicing writing and honestly this type of writing is super different from what I’m used to.
• Third, I am super grateful to all my readers who waited. I might not be able to reply to your comments, but I really do appreciate it. Thank you for staying by my side and supporting my guilty pleasures.
• Fourth, it may take some time but if you guys want a specific one-shot fic please do tell. (I work better when someone expects something from me) I might actually make you that specific one-shot (as long it falls on fandoms I like.)
• This chapter is inspired by Chris Grey - HAUNTED and Daniel Di Angelo - Drive You Insane.
• That’s all I hope you enjoy this chapter. Thank you guys and I love y’all. <3
Chapter Text
Gomez smiled sadly as he watched his beloved daughter and daughter-in-law. Normally, he would be pleased to see them bonding over a cherished family tradition, but this time, his heart was heavy. He feared their motives were rooted in something far from innocent. Perhaps his daughter-in-law sought revenge, while his daughter used this game as an attempt to mend their fragile relationship.
A little rivalry wouldn't hurt anyone—at least not physically, much to his disappointment. However, the heart is a fragile thing, and wounds inflicted there are not so easily healed, no matter how one tries. True, their bickering was entertaining, reminiscent of his own younger days with Morticia. Still, he found it fascinating—and somewhat alarming—that they dared to carry on so brazenly in front of everyone.
"Who do you think will win?" he whispered to Cousin Itt, who was taking a leisurely puff of his cigar.
"My bets on the Consigliere," the hairy man replied confidently. Gomez raised an eyebrow at his answer.
"No faith in my precious daughter?" Gomez asked, his tone light but probing.
Cousin Itt chuckled, then turned to face Gomez, tilting his head. "Aren't they technically both your daughters?"
The comment sent a chill down Gomez’s spine. His eyes darkened as a cold smile curled his lips. "Touché," he replied softly.
Wednesday froze as she heard Enid’s calm, confident voice. The werewolf’s piercing gaze made her hesitate, but she quickly masked her discomfort.
"Me, afraid? Lupa, you know me. I’m not afraid of anything," Wednesday retorted, her voice firm.
Enid took a measured step back, reloading another bullet into the chamber of her gun. "Is that so?" she mused, her tone sharp. "Then, if you win this little wager of ours, what boon would you request of me?"
Wednesday’s eyes narrowed. "Perhaps I’d ask you to stop talking in riddles," she replied curtly.
The werewolf smirked, her movements swift and deliberate. She raised her gun, aimed, and fired—missing the target by a hair’s breadth. Enid lowered the weapon, her smirk widening as she turned to face Wednesday, who stood frozen, wide-eyed.
"Ma tesoro, non c'è bisogno che tu chieda una cosa del genere (But darling, you don’t need to request such a thing)," Enid whispered, leaning closer to Wednesday and gently brushing her fingers through the raven’s hair.
"Devi solo implorare ancora una volta (You just have to beg once more)," she added, her voice a chilling mix of seduction and command.
Wednesday snapped out of her daze as Enid approached Gomez and Cousin Itt.
"I didn’t expect you to lose on purpose," Cousin Itt remarked, handing Enid a glass of whiskey. She accepted it with a polite smile, downing it in one gulp.
"I normally wouldn’t," Enid admitted, her voice light. "But my opponent is rather… distracting."
Her words made Wednesday bristle with anger. A victory gained through her opponent's mercy was no victory at all.
"That wasn’t valid," Wednesday snapped. "It was charity."
Enid chuckled, clearly amused. "I’ve heard of sore losers, but never a sore winner," she teased, smirking as Wednesday glared at her.
"Accept it," Enid said calmly, her tone firm. "And tell me what you want me to do."
Wednesday clenched her teeth, her frustration boiling over. "It wasn’t a victory," she spat. "It was charity!"
With a sigh, Enid stepped closer, her imposing stature making Wednesday feel cornered. She grabbed the raven’s chin, forcing her to look up.
"Tell me," Enid demanded, her voice low and commanding.
"Fine," Wednesday growled. "For the duration of your vacation, you are to attend to my needs. Accompany me anywhere. Be ready to respond to my calls. You are not allowed to decline."
Enid froze, then burst into laughter. Releasing her hold, she ruffled her blonde hair. "Sei piuttosto coraggioso (You’re rather brave)," she said, smirking. "Accetto questa tua richiesta (I accept this request of yours). Make sure you don’t regret it, enjoy it, savor it like I did last night.”
With that, she turned and walked toward the mansion, leaving everyone in stunned silence.
"You already did what?!" Gomez’s shout shattered the silence, his jaw dropping as he processed the exchange.
"Father, shut up," Wednesday muttered, avoiding everyone’s curious gazes. Her hand unconsciously brushed her neck, recalling the events of the previous night.
"Ah! You little vixen!" Cousin Itt exclaimed, pointing a finger as he noticed Wednesday’s flustered state.
Morticia raised a perfectly arched brow, sipping her tea with quiet amusement, while Margaret let out a delighted squeal of pure joy.
It was rather a surprising request made by her raven, she didn’t expect that she will make such demand from her. At first she anticipated that the raven will order her to tell the truth or something with those lines but to think that her request would be ordering her to stay when she herself told her to leave makes her laugh.
“Vediamo come va.” (Let's see how this goes.) she muttered as she stood beside the window of her old room with a amused smirk on her face.
Amused. Enid was undeniably amused by the blatant, desperate attempts of her little raven to apologize. She inwardly scoffed at the effort, her lips twitching into a faint smirk as she strode back to her room. With every step, the sharp click of her heels echoed through the empty hallway, a steady rhythm that mirrored the thoughts racing in her mind.
Images of Wednesday flashed unbidden, vivid and consuming. The things she wanted to do to that infuriatingly captivating woman played out in her imagination, sending a thrill through her. She bit her lip, the faint taste of the raven still lingering on her tongue. It was maddening, intoxicating a ghostly sensation of her touch still imprinted on her skin, setting her nerves alight.
How could such a woman exist? Enid's heart clenched at the thought, an ache blooming in her chest, raw and insistent. Why did she yearn so fiercely for Wednesday’s touch, her presence, her everything yet loathe her with all her heart and soul? She didn’t know whether to curse her or crave her more. Either way, she was powerless to resist the pull.
“Perhaps you would like a drink?” a young man’s voice asked, snapping the werewolf out of her thoughts. Glancing at the person, the blonde barely registered the way her pupils dilated. Pubert Addams stood in front her with a polite yet cold smile on his face.
“Mio Dio, mi hai sorpreso.”(My, You startled me.) Enid greeted him politely. “ A drink? I wouldn’t mind but alas I have some matters to attend to.” The young man merely tilted his head at her answer before chuckling. “Weren’t you supposed to be here on vacation? A drink or two shouldn’t matter.” He answered with that cold yet respectful tone. Pubert takes a step closer to the werewolf, his head almost the same as her compared to his stature years ago.
“Or you don’t like hanging with me anymore, big sis?” he whispered as he gaze into her eyes defiantly. "Enid’s eyes widened before she let out a dry laugh. Bowing her head slightly, she ran a hand through her hair, then met his gaze once more. ‘I believe we aren’t acquainted enough to call each other by such terms?’"
"Please, I know a liar when I see one. You are Enid perhaps not the Enid I once knew, but still the Enid my sister once loved," Pubert said, his gaze unwavering.
The werewolf sighed, parting her lips as if to speak, then clenched her teeth. "I am not the person you're searching for," she muttered, her voice filled with restrained frustration.
"Is this the game you're playing?" Pubert asked, his gaze carefully studying her reaction.
Enid cursed under her breath. Had her mask slipped? Perhaps coming here truly had been a big mistake. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes for a brief moment before opening them again this time, they burned with murderous intent.
"I am not playing a game with you," she growled, her voice low and dangerous.
The young Addams raised an eyebrow, momentarily freezing at the intensity of her glare. Then unexpectedly, he laughed. "I see what's going on," he murmured, his eyes gleaming with an unsettling joy as he fixed his gaze on Enid.
“I shall keep my mouth shut about this.” He said hiding the obvious joy in his voice. “My sister deserves this hmm… punishment from you.” Pubert whispers. Enid stared at him with wonder in her eyes. She didn’t expect this at all.
“Just promise me one thing.” Pubert whispered as Enid titled her head in confusion. She didn’t answer him but the young man continued to speak.
“Normally in such cases one would say ‘don’t hurt her too much’ but I won’t say such thing I am anything but normal. She deserves this punishment of yours however I warn you Lupa. You can hurt her yes, break whatever is left of her heart but if you disappear again from our lives after doing such thing. I will hunt you down myself.” Pubert promised as he gave the blonde one final glance before leaving.
Enid stared at him in bafflement as she covered her mouth with her right hand, she held back the urge to laugh as his words echoed in her mind. Leave? Disappear? She would never let the raven escape from her clutches again. She will imprison that woman , tie her down with chains if she must. Wednesday would be hers alone.
“You’ve truly grown , Pubert.” She muttered as she walked back to her room. Despite the fact that her boss said that it is a vacation there are still things she need to take care of. The family may not be based in America it doesn’t mean that they have no territory in the country. Enid chuckled as she remembered that the family had the largest business in New Jersey, given her boss’s relation to the Addams family she should’ve connected the dots earlier. It was a mistake on her behalf.
Enid opened the door to her room without a care, she grabs her a coat hanging from the chair and picks up her phone to dial a number. “Rapporto.” (Report) she said the moment the call connected.
“Consigliere, qualcuno vuole parlarle.” (Councillor, Someone wants to talk to you.) a man answered as Enid carefully puts on her coat.
“Veramente?” (Really?) she mused as she glanced at the door. Someone is eavesdropping. It must be a certain raven. She smirked as she decided perhaps a little game wouldn’t hurt that much right?
” Mandami una macchina. Oh, e preparami un paio di ragazze, per favore?” (Send a car here. Oh, and prepare a couple of ladies for me would you?) Enid swore she heard the raven’s jaw clenched as she held back her jealousy.
“Naturalmente, anche una delle ospiti fa parte della yakuza. Afferma di essere associata a te.” (Of course, Also one of the guests is a part of the yakuza. She claims to be associated with you.)
“Capisco, dille di prepararsi per me. Mi è mancata la sua compagnia.” (I see, tell her to prepare for me. I did miss her company.) Enid said in tone meant to annoy the eavesdropper.
“dai tuoi ordini” (by your orders). The man answered as Enid dropped the call, sighing as she pockets the phone.
“I don’t think eavesdropping is polite isn’t it?” Enid said as Wednesday opened the door with anger apparent in her eyes.
“Where are you going?” Wednesday growled her eyes filled with possessiveness. Enid merely chuckled as she walked towards the table and poured herself a glass of whiskey.
“That is none of your business.” Enid nonchantly answered as she takes a sip of her drink. Wednesday walked towards her and grab her by the collar of her shirt.
“We had a deal remember? You are to serve me.”
“Oh, now you want me to obey ? Didn’t you claim it was charity?” Enid answered with a raised eyebrow as Wednesday bit her lower lip.
“Who are you meeting?”
“A precious friend of mine.” Enid said as she grabs Wednesday wrist and gripped it hard. “Someone whose company I’ve been longing for.”
Wednesday takes a deep breath as Enid’s hold on her wrist tightened , the way the werewolf looked down her with so much oppression made her knees tremble.
“Let me join.” Wednesday spatted as Enid froze before laughing and she lets go of the raven.
“Is that an order?” Enid asked as the goth glared at her while holding her now bruised wrist.
“Do you even have to ask?” Wednesday snapped back while Enid coldly chuckled. “Then dress up ? I rather not be associated with someone who doesn’t know how to have fun in club.”
“You don’t want to embarrass me right?” Enid whispered as her eyes darkened. “I-“
“Hurry up then, The car will be here in 15 minutes.” Enid said as Wednesday slammed the door shut. She sighed then covers her mouth with her right hand as she held back the building laugh from her mouth, her eyes glowed eerily for a second.
“Take it slow, Lupa.” She muttered as she closed her eyes, imagining scenes in her mind so cruel, so oppressive that even an Addams would shiver at such thoughts. Enid can’t wait to chain the defiant raven that clawed her heart out so ruthlessly.
“She can’t blame me right? After all she wanted this version of me.” The werewolf whispered as she grabbed another glass of whiskey from the table. The slow-building heat burns her throat slowly, savoring the mellow smoky oak flavor as slowly as possible. For such a drink, merely gulping it down is an insult. A drink of this caliber deserves to savored slowly like a certain raven she’s about to devour.
It’s true that Enid prefers the taste of wine but the taste of whiskey always remind her of Wednesday. The scent alone reminds her of her, deep smoky sometimes almost like medicinal flavors depending on what brand. But it’s so much like the raven, dry, deep, so much layers. It isn’t sweet nor bitter and the way the taste lingered on her tongue it haunts her mind and body. She craves her very essence, her obedience, her defiance, her anger, her lust , her love and her everything.
And just the way she savored this drink, she would make sure that she will drink her heart and soul until the raven truly belongs to her alone. Wednesday would never escape her again and she would never crave another person’s touch ever again. If anyone dares to lay their hands on her pet, less say Enid would present their heart to Wednesday and crush it in front of her with her bare hands.
The club is boring, it always had been but tonight something in it was brewing and Enid couldn’t help but hold back the smirk forming on her face as she entered the place with Wednesday following behind her in a strapless black dress. She admits she didn’t expect the raven to actually wear such a daring outfit. Holding herself from lunging towards her during the car ride was pure torture.
She merely raised an eyebrow when the brunette sat right in front of her on the car when the raven merely grinned and leaned forward towards her “I hope this is fits your idea of a presentable outfit for a club right?”
“It will…suffice.” Enid answered as her eyes darkened at the revealing dress. The ride was suffocating, the silence weight heavy on the air.
Enid merely followed one of the waiters as he guided them towards a special booth on the second floor, it faced the dance floor and one can leer over the intoxicated lambs as they pleased. The blonde merely glanced at the raven who looked at her as she poured herself a glass of whiskey.
“What now?” Wednesday asked her as Enid ignored her and lounged herself at the velvet couch like a queen on a throne she didn’t ask for but owned anyway. Her head tilted back as her eyes glowed faintly under the neon lights, her fingers wrapped around a glass the way Wednesday wished it was her neck instead.
Wednesday’s gaze lingered as Enid answered her with silence. The raven clenched her fist as the werewolf sipped her drink without a care.
“I said what now?” Wednesday asked once more, her voice tinted with annoyance as Enid sighed and places the glass on the table casually.
“Do as you please, I am merely waiting for someone.” Enid answered her voice low and husky as she slowly devoured Wednesday in her mind.
“Hm, do you suggest that I find someone down there who is willing to spend the rest of this tiring night with me?” Wednesday said, her eyes testing the reaction of the werewolf sitting in front of her. Her gaze never faltered , she couldn’t look away from Enid’s captivating eyes.
“Do as you please.” Enid answered her eyes daring the raven to follow through her words, her voice cold. She gave the raven a venomous smile as Wednesday turned around and left the room and she didn’t even glance back towards the werewolf but Enid’s eyes never left hers, the glass of whiskey back in her hand as downed the whole glass in one gulp.
‘Dull, everything is so dull’ as she steered through the crowdy club, her eyes looking for a pawn she can use in her game of cat and mouse with a certain werewolf. In the corner of her eye she noticed a blonde man and a cold smile form on her face.
She approached him and sat beside him at the counter, it didn’t take long till her noticed her and gave her a gaze filled with so much lust that it disgusts her.
“Here for a good time?” he asked her as Wednesday sensually leaned on her hand by the counter and gave her seductive smile. “I am.” She said as the man gestured towards the bartender.
“Order something then, it’s on me.” The poor man said as he gave her a smile, perhaps he thought it was an attractive smile but for Wednesday it was a poor attempt at being smooth but she held her act.
“Oh, I didn’t expect that the good time would come so early in the night.” Wednesday answered as the man winked at her. ‘disgusting’
“Well, perhaps I can even complete your night with a surprise.” The man whispered as he leaned closer towards her.
“Surprise me then?” Wednesday answered as she held back the bile coming up her throat.
Enid watched from the booth the glass no longer in her hand but across the room broken into pieces. She really dare to test her limits, brave but truly foolish.
” Scopri tutto su quel bastardo.” (Find everything about that bastard.) she ordered her assistant that stood by the entrance of the room.
“inteso” (understood) the man answered as he left the room.
“Seeing you acting like really sends shivers down my back.” A voice said as Enid glanced at the person who just entered the room. Yoko grinned as Enid nodded her head as a greeting.
“I saw your girl when I entered the club, cozying up a rando.” The vampire mentioned as she drops right at the couch. She reached towards the table grabbing a glass and pouring herself a drink.
“I am not acting.” Enid answered as she gaze down at the goth who is now dancing with the man, the way the man laid his hands on her waist as Wednesday swayed her body through the beat of the music playing.
“You know I did some research on you when I returned and consider me surprised to learn about how you lived these past years. You’ve truly left the realm of being a law-abiding citizen.” Yoko said as she takes a sip of the whiskey, it left a burning trail down her throat. Her friend has left dozens of bodies in her path.
“And does that bother you?” Enid asked her, her eyes glowing as the vampire merely laughed before gulping the drink in her hand in one go.
“The hell it does! But if that means I’ll have my best friend back I don’t fucking care.” Yoko exclaimed as she slammed the glass onto the table, the tremor of her anger lingered in the air.
“You’ve always been kind.” Enid answered , amusement visible in her eyes as she leaned on the railing of the booth as she stare at Wednesday who went back to the counter as the pest continued talking to her.
“But I’m afraid I no longer have that kindness I used to have.” The blonde continued as Yoko sighed before running her hands through her hair in frustration.
“Yeah, I kinda guess when I read through the report. I just want to say that I’ll help you out.” The vampire answered as the werewolf stared at her bafflement.
“Pardon?”
“I said I will help you out, use my connections if you must just let me help you like a good old friend should do.”
“You might regret that.”
“For you? Never.” Yoko answered like it was a fact.
Wednesday sat at the counter with boredom in her eyes but her kept on entertaining the man who talked about his life, attempting to lure her into his bed. The raven merely waited for the werewolf to barged in and whisk her away in jealousy but nothing happened so far. Earlier she glanced at the booth and saw that a woman was standing beside Enid too close for her liking and she almost dropped her act. She couldn’t precisely see who was that woman but she wanted to stab her to death.
The pawn sitting beside her suddenly coughed, spilling some of his drink on his shirt and gave her an apologetic smile “I apologize but I must go to the bathroom.” He said as Wednesday gave him a calculated smile. “Go, I’ll still be here.” She answered softly as the man grinned at her before leaving.
Wednesday sighed before taking sip from her old-fashion and felt a slight twitch of annoyance as she felt someone just sat beside her. She put back her acting face only to be surprised when a familiar face appeared in front of her.
“You’ve got some nerve showing up here.” Yoko said as Wednesday glared at her. The vampire merely glanced at the bartender and he puts down an ashtray in front of her.
Yoko merely places the cigarette between her lips as the bartender reaches over and lights it up for her. She takes a deep breath and puffed it right in front of Wednesday who glared at her.
“I have some unfinished business with her.”
The vampire scoffs , her voice low and venomous “Business? Is that what you call it now? You shattered her into pieces and left her to rot, Addams.”
Wednesday glares at her hard, eyes cold and sharp as a knife. “That wasn’t my intention.”
“Intent doesn’t erase the damage done, Addams.” Yoko snaps as Wednesday winced at the vampire’s truthful words. “Enid died the moment you walked away and whatever returned isn’t Enid anymore.”
“She’s still there.” Wednesday snapped back as she clenches her jaw.
Yoko takes another drag of her cigarette while giving the raven a cold gaze. “You keep believing that huh?” she said as Wednesday grabs her drink and finishes it.
“Chasing a ghost of your past, stupid. Let me be the one to welcome you then…” Yoko said as she extinguishes her cigarette on the ashtray then she leans close, voice devoid of emotions yet her eyes brutal.
“Welcome to the hell you created, Wednesday. Let’s see if you can survive the monster you’ve created.” She said as she stood up and walked away, leaving the raven alone at the counter, her fingers turned pale as she gripped the glass tighter, the taste of bitterness and regret clinging on her tongue.
Somewhere hidden at the back of the club, a room dimly lit , bare concrete walls , a single spotlight hanged as the shadows lurking like predators in the dark. The smell of smoke and expensive cologne filled the air as the faint music from the club can be heard like a heartbeat hidden behind closed walls.
A trembling blonde man is tied to a steel chair in the center, his lips cracked and blooded while his left eyes swelled.
“I- I didn’t know. I swear, I don’t know anythi-“ he begged at the two suited man standing behind him. The door opens and silence filled the room.
Enid steps in like the devil in heels, her shirt rolled up to her arms, her tattooed arm a warming against her pale skin. Her blonde hair tied back yet not a single strand seems to be out of place. Elegant, cruel and calm. A man gently places a chair in front of the bounded man as Enid slowly sat down.
Her assistant hands her a cigar and lights it up for her, the man froze as he struggled to speak. The silence was choking him, it engulf his whole body and soul.
“P-please. I don’t know what I did to offend you.” The man begged as the Enid closed her eyes and takes a drag from her cigar.
“If it was about the woman earlier- I swear I didn’t know she was yours- I didn’t mean to touch what yours. Please-“
Enid opened her eyes yet she didn’t respond to the pitiful cries of the man in front of her. Slow and poised she places the cigar between her lips, inhales and exhales the smoke directly towards his face.
“You didn’t mean to?” Enid says, voice flat yet almost amused.
The man stammers “I didn’t know she was yours-“
“Mine huh? You touched her like she was available ,like she was ordinary, like you were worthy.” Enid said, her eyes glowing faintly under the light inhuman, monstrous even. She stared at him like he was a pest, not worth her rage.
“You didn’t do anything wrong.” Enid whispered softly. “She let you dance with her, she even gave you a smile.” The man saw a faint glimpse of hope. “You should be thanking her.” The blonde continued.
Immediately the man open his mouth. “Yes. Thank you- thank yo-“ his head nodding like his life depended on it. Enid smiles and leans closer to the man as if she was about to whisper a secret. “and you should be also on your knees groveling for forgiveness.” The man froze as he almost peed his pants.
The next words sent shivers down his spine . “but we both know, I don’t forgive.” Enid growled as she press the cigar right down his right hand, the dared to touch her raven. The man screamed in pain as the werewolf stood up. “Break both his hands, he doesn’t need them anymore.” She ordered her men as they moved instantly, the man screams and begs for forgiveness as Enid turned around and left the room, she didn’t even flinch as she heard the sound of bones breaking as the man cried for help. ‘How wonderful, like music to my ears.’
Enid walked back to the booth like nothing happened and was greeted by the sight of Wednesday sitting at the couch with boredom evident on her beautiful face.
“Done dancing?” Enid asked as Wednesday glanced at the werewolf, she noticed the blonde tied her hair up and folded her shirt to her arms. She bit her lip at the sight of Enid.
“I fear that more people would end up disappearing if I continued.” Wednesday answered as Enid froze for a second before chuckling. The blonde grabs another glass and pours herself another drink as Wednesday observed her. The way the shirt cling into her body, the way the muscles on her arms twisted with every moved. The raven cant help but get aroused at the sight. She knew that her little act would get the werewolf jealous somehow and consider her surprise when the pawn she used didn’t return. She connected the dots when she went back to the second floor and found it empty.
“Oh that would be a shame. I was rather getting bored.” Enid casually said as she takes a sip her eyes on Wednesday, a faint warning.
“You’ve changed.” Wednesday whispered as Enid laughed coldly at her words. “I don’t have the faintest idea about what you’re talking about.”
“This isn’t you, Enid.” The raven added as Enid stood silently her gaze turned cold, cruel as she places the glass down.
“That’s the problem, darling. This is me now. You liked that weak version of me that begged for your affection. You don’t have the right to be surprised when she died.”
“I didn’t want her dead.”
“Oh you didn’t?” Enid said as she walked closer towards Wednesday, every inch of her a slow, dangerous predator ready to lunged at her prey. “ You watched her fall apart. Every word you said gutted her and when she bled out you twisted it harder. The funny thing is that after everything you’ve done, you blamed the knife.” Enid growled the last words as she grabbed Wednesday chin her fingers held her tight. Wednesday’s throat was dry as she whispered. “I never meant to kill her.”
“But you did.” Enid said as she leaned closer, their lips barely touching as Enid stare right through Wednesday’s eyes. The raven can smell her breath, tobacco, whiskey and danger.
“And here’s a little twist in your redemption arc, Wednesday Friday Addams. You don’t get to fix this. You don’t get to win her back.” Enid whispered weakly as she leaned closer and kissed Wednesday roughly. She kissed her like she wanted to devour the raven whole, biting her lip till she tasted iron in her tongue but she didn’t stop. She wanted to bruise those lips of her, she wanted to claim her, her very body and soul.
Enid takes a step back, leaving Wednesday heaving and grasping for air. She licks her lips still tasting the blood of the raven, it lingered in her mouth.
“I am not here to win.” Wednesday snapped back, still out of air. “I’m here to see if I can still have whatever is left of her.”
A pause, Enid looked at her, truly looked at her. Something inside flickered and its not warmth but a memory the kind that burned. “There’s nothing for you to claim then.” She whispered as she turned her back.
Wednesday sat frozen. Unmoving, she wanted to grab Enid back, she wanted to beg, she wanted to speak but she didn’t. She couldn’t even refute her last words.
She clenched her fist and the storm inside her heart broke through her carefully constructed walls. Standing up, she walked out of the room, her footsteps echoed as she walked through the crowd and out of the club. The night seemed loud despite being so late, the passing cars, the faint bass of the club that bleed out of the walls. It seemed so distant yet near, as if the whole world had turned into a puppet show mocking her.
“What should I do?” Wednesday muttered under her breath as she stood by the curb near the club, people passed by her, their faces blur. Her chest rising and falling too fast her liking. For the first time in her life, she doesn’t have a plan. She didn’t know what to do, she didn’t know how to even start. Enid’s voice echoed in her mind ‘You don’t get to win her back.’
Enid watched from the window of the club as Wednesday rushed out of the building, she gestures towards her assistant who immediately calls for a car to pick a certain brunette now standing by the curb. The werewolf touched her lips as she remembered the sensation of Wednesday’s lips against hers. In her other hand, an empty glass is held and yet she swirled it, watching the remnants cling to the sides before slowing sliding down in slow trails. Wednesday’s absence always cut deeper than her presence. The raven truly knows how to haunt a person.
“I wonder what you’re going to do now, my raven.” She muttered as her eyes lingered on the silhouette of a broken woman. One that she would break even more.
“You’ll be back, You always come back even if it meant your impending doom.”
Wednesday takes a deep breath and freezes as a person walked towards her, she glanced at the man wearing a suit and was about to tell him to fuck off when the man bowed his head towards her and car slowly pulled over towards her.
“Madam, Consigliere ordered us to take you home.” He said respectfully as Wednesday glared at him.
“Let me be.” She said coldly as the man, merely bows his head before grabbing something from his pocket. A cigarette case and a lighter was offered to her. The raven raised an brow but still accepted the gifts. She watched as the man entered the car and left.
She glanced at the cigarette case in her hand and stare at the club before walking away. Wednesday places the cigarette between her lips and pulls out the lighter, she lit it up like a seasoned smoker.
Enid’s words continued to gnaw at her mind, her lips still clung to her lips like a wound that refused to heal. The memory of their conversation kept on repeating, shredding her composure piece by piece. A prey that’s what she felt.
Every step she took reminded her of the conversation she had with the certain werewolf. She knew what Enid said is the truth. It was all her fault but she isn’t willing to let Enid go again. No matter how much this new version of her beloved wolf hurts her she is a willing sacrifice, a willing prey.
“If you think this will stop me then you’re wrong, Lupa.” She muttered.
“You look fucking pathetic, Addams.” Wednesday didn’t even look at the person who appeared behind her. She didn’t even need to. Yoko slid beside her like a ghost, a cigarette already on her lips burning as the smoke curled up in the air.
“You think standing here with that broken look will make her pity you? Cause news flash- it wont fucking work. She doesn’t have that anymore.” Yoko glanced at Wednesday who ignored her.
“I mean I don’t think even you don’t have that. I mean, you didn’t even hesitate to drag a random person as a pawn in this sick play of yours.” The vampire mocked as she flicked the ashes of her cigarette.
Wednesday glares at her and Yoko smirked. “And what do you expect me to do? Walk back inside and fall to my knees while begging?” the goth snarked at the vampire who gave her a disgusted look. “Ew, though that would be such an entertaining sight to see.” Then she takes another drag of her cigarette and exhaling the smoke directly into Wednesday’s face causing the raven to glare at the vampire harder.
“But actually that might be the only way for her to actually notice.” Yoko muttered. As a bitter silence fell between them. Suffocating silence that Wednesday used to love but now it feels like its gnawing her insides with rusted blade.
Then the vampire sighed and spoke her voice lowered, almost too soft. “She’s not the girl you knew. You want her back? Burn with her. Fucking bleed for her. Allow her to hurt you the way you did to her”
Wednesday flicked the ashes of her cigarette and turned her gaze away from the vampire, her eyes so empty yet full of something. “and if I refuse?” she whispered.
Yoko titled her head “then what’s the point of this?”
“I just want her back.”
“Then keep chasing her ghost, and she might just let you. That’s the cruelest part of her, she’ll let you believe you have a chance then she will rip it away, just the way you did and if I’ll be honest you deserve it.” Yoko said as she takes once last drag and steps on her cigarette.
“Why are you telling me this?” Wednesday asked the vampire.
“Perhaps I want to see you suffer, perhaps I want to see Enid achieve her goals. You will never know. Enjoy your hell, Addams.” Yoko answered as she left the same way she did like a ghost.
Wednesday stood there alone once again inhaling her cigarette and exhaling it ,watching the way the smoke curled up and twisted in the air. If I must beg, I will. If I must bleed, I will. If she wants to chain me? I will chose the chains she will put on me.
The moment Wednesday returned to the manor she immediately went to her room. Removing her clothes and tossing it by a chair, she walked to her shower and let the icy cold water touch her skin. The vampire’s words lingered in her ear ‘Burn with her. Bleed for her.’
The audacity of that bitch to be speaking the truth. It annoys her, it frustrates her. She growls in anger punching the wall. The sensation of pain made her snap out of her thoughts as she goes out of the bathroom.
She sat at her desk, wearing nothing but a robe. Her wet hair drip on the table as she stare at the lone candle flickering beside her. A half-smoked cigarette lay on the ashtray, the bitter stench clung to her hair and body like guilt. On the table lay her journal, and it simply laid there pages blank as if even the ink refused her, her own mind abandoned her.
Enid, Enid , Enid all that was inside her mind was her name. Again. And again. And again. Her name plague her mind like an infection, the raven’s hand trembled as she reached out for the cigarette inhaling the poison stick and exhaling its fumes.
Her Enid gone, Lupa replaced her. Cold and indifferent.
Burn with her
Bleed with her
“You want me in chains, Enid? I’ll wear them. You want my blood on your lips? Take it. Just look at me again. I beg of you.”
The candle flickered, as a single tear drop flowed down her pale face and for the first time in her life, Wednesday Addams prayed, she prayed for her own damnation.
“Lupa, you left with my niece last night yet she returned alone.” Itt said as Enid sat in front of him. The hairy man merely watched the blonde who remained silent.
“Did something eventful happen? “ Itt asked as Enid froze. “Enid.” He warned as the werewolf takes a deep breath.
“I offered her a ride home, she said decline. Ho perso la scommessa, quindi ho semplicemente seguito i suoi desideri.” ( I lost the bet, so I merely followed her wishes.) Enid answered as Itt merely hummed.
“Is that so?” he casually said as the werewolf sat obediently, behaved.
“Mia preziosa bambina, sono a conoscenza del tuo passato con lei e ho un'idea di cosa stai progettando di fare.” (My precious child, I am aware of your past with her and I have a feeling about what you're planning to do.)
“Capo, voglio solo-“ (Boss, I just want-) Enid interrupted but stopped as the hairy man raised a hand.
“You have my permission, I and the others won’t stop you. “ Itt said as Enid gazed at him her eyes filled with thanks.
“Ti avverto solo che se la rompi, allora sarai tu a dovertene assumere la responsabilità.:” (Just be warned, If you break her, then you must be responsible for her.)
“ Enid, I'm telling this to you because you are family.” Itt continued as he grabbed a cigar and took a drag. “
“You are to stay here longer.”
“Perdono?” (Pardon)
Itt raised two fingers as Enid’s eyes widened. “ Hai due mesi.” (You have two months).
“Don’t disappoint me.” Itt whispered as Enid nodded her head in thanks before leaving the room. Itt shakes his head and inhales the cigar. If he has a face one can see a grin forming on his face as he thought about a certain werewolf becoming part of the Addams family.
Enid sat inside her room in the Addams manor, leaning on the couch wearing nothing but a bathrobe , in her hand were reports from Italy. Financial records, anything the family had business in. but she couldn’t focus, she has to think about what she should do to break her raven’s wings. Two months, that was plenty of time to make her Wednesday crawl.
She puts down her papers on the table and walks towards her bag. Pulling out a box of something she made a long time ago. A silver bracelet , one that she made with her own hands, inside it an etching she carved herself. ‘Mine till death’ but recently, she specially added another word. ‘Prey.’
This was a special bracelet once worn, it can never be removed. Like a tattoo that will stay with you till you wither and die.
“Oh, perhaps branding her with my initials is satisfying to see.” She muttered, her eyes darkened at the image of her raven’s pale skin, her mark scarring her forever.
Enid smirked as she places the bracelet on the table from now her plan will start. Changing into simple black slacks and a white long sleeve shirt. She pockets the bracelet and walks out of the room. She stood in front of Wednesday’s room and opened the door. She was surprised that it was unlocked.
“A bit reckless aren’t you?” she muttered. She was greeted by a sight she didn’t expect to see. The raven wasn’t in her bed but sleeping by her desk wearing nothing but a disheveled bathrobe.
“Foolish.” Enid muttered as she walked towards the raven, she glances at the desk and saw an crumpled pages beside a messily written journal.
Sighing the werewolf pinched the bridge of her nose and approached the raven, who didn’t even react. Enid carefully took her into her arms to place her back to her bed. She expected the raven to wake up but she didn’t instead the woman in her arms seem to lean closer to her chest as if she unconsciously seek her scent.
“You’re playing a dangerous game, pet.” She whispered as the raven nuzzled towards her neck, the way she breathed against the werewolf’s skin made the blonde bit her lower lip.
The werewolf takes a deep breath as gently placed the brunette back to her bed. Her eyes unconsciously glancing at the revealing appearance of the woman.
Enid turns around only to feel a hand gripping her wrist, she turned around only to see Wednesday looking at her. “Where are you going?” the raven asked.
“Leaving.” The werewolf answered as she tried to pry off the hand gripping her wrist but the raven tightened her hold.
“Why?” Wednesday asked her voice daring.
Enid didn’t answer as she tried to pull away once more. “Why?” Wednesday asked once more. The werewolf takes a deep breath and faces the raven.
“Because if I don’t I might just devour a raven for breakfast.”
“Then starve or feed.” Wednesday titled her chin, her eyes daring as she curved her lips into a seductive smile. Enid lost all semblance of control and pushed the raven back to bed. The werewolf laid on top of her , gripping her wrist above her head as Wednesday smirked.
“Don’t test me.” Enid growled as she leaned closer to Wednesday’s face. Their lips barely touching. The memory of last night’s kiss still lingered in both of their minds.
“If I am, would you punish me?” Wednesday answered her tone still confident.
“Wednesday, I am warning you.” Enid said in a cold tone, her eyes burning with anger and lust.
“Punish me then.” Wednesday whispered as Enid kissed her roughly, the werewolf hands ripped the robe off the raven as the Wednesday smirked as she reached towards Enid’s shirt and pulled the buttons of her shirt.
Wednesday knew that what she’s doing is dangerous but the alluring werewolf didn’t leave her any choice. Who told Enid that she can just waltz into her room looking that delicious?
