Eyes from afar, a woman upon a terrace with another,
An aching sensation floods the chest,
burning like flames,
She was so far that one face hadn't met at all though they once belonged to each other's gazes and tantalizing heartache was inevitable,
Each day passing slower and slower than the last, each one making oneself fall apart without their other piece,
Another, the woman thrives as she brims with happiness whilst with her newer companion and lover, so she forgets about the one she abandoned in an empty house,
Whose soul is slowly shattering like a car front window within a wreck, only the bodies within truly damaged with the glass within their locks,
Blood dripping out of their wounds from the shattered glass, an after-effect that stunned the victim, who shall be the one to heal the sliced and broken heart,
their mind becoming duller and plainer by the hour before internal passing? Or shall they go to her, gain a response, and confess their love before they fall to pieces like shattered glass inflicting even more people?
