Work Text:

A shooting noise echoed in the dark alley; a man was running from his opponent since he got shot. He had internal bleeding and needed a place to hide from them. The man was limping and trying to figure a way out. A place appeared in his head, his safe haven, he would settle there for a while. He managed to escape from the person who shot him by pretending to be dead. When the unknown individual left the scene, the bleeding man fled from the alley. As he arrived, he immediately rang the bell to notify the person inside the house. The door opened and the injured man found his beloved standing there with bewilderment on his face.

“Hyung, what the f*ck happened to you?” The man instantly checked his injury when he noticed the blood seeping out and tainted the wounded man’s white shirt.

“Can I at least come inside, first?” The wounded man was close to passing, and the owner of the house rapidly brought the half-dazed man into his home. The man took the first aid kit to treat the other man. Lee Heeseung, the wounded man, was in his late 30s and involved in a gang since he was young. Heeseung was elected as the new leader of the gang and chaos ensued. There was a rat in the gang and someone shot to kill Heeseung. Luckily, he had a place to hide by staying at his partner’s house momentarily. Park Sunghoon, Heeseung’s beloved, worked as a doctor, Heeseung’s healer, and lifesaver, you can name it all.

They had been together for three years and first met at the hospital where Sunghoon worked. Heeseung loathed the hospital but he was severely fractured and his men forced him to be treated in the hospital. Sunghoon was the one who treated him and it was love at first sight with Heeseung who flirted with him first. Nevertheless, Sunghoon only provided a short response as he had no time or bother to be in a relationship. It did not hinder Heeseung from trying harder as he constantly visited the hospital to meet Sunghoon. In the end, Sunghoon determined to give Heeseung a chance.

Heeseung sighed in relief when Sunghoon pulled the bullet out of his body, he thanked God that it did not puncture his organ. “Stop worrying much, I am fine.” Heeseung perceived that his beloved was about to cry sooner if he pressed the wrong button.

“No, you are fu*king not.” Sunghoon clicked his tongue while dabbing the cotton to absorb the blood, the wound was gaping and he needed to suture it quickly before Heeseung lost plenty of blood. “I hate you, I hate you so much.” Heeseung laughed lightly at Sunghoon’s comment but winced when the sterilised needle pierced his skin.

“You are adorable when you are mad.” Heeseung never failed to make Sunghoon’s heart pounded faster, even when the situation was frantic, Heeseung had his tactic to light up the circumstances. “Do you want me to make up to you? I let you use me till you satisfy…” The older man leaned on him after the doctor finished suturing him.

“You just had been shot.” Sunghoon’s face was rigid but his heart never stopped pulsing hastily. He did not want the older to get his access easily, Sunghoon sought to punish him because Heeseung constantly agitated him.

“Since when it stopped us?” Well, they had done this before, nothing could prevent them from it. Yet, Sunghoon desired to be the only one who tore Heeseung apart, no one could harm the older except him.

“Well, you asked for it, then there is no turning back.” Sunghoon directly smashed his lips on the older one.

Sunghoon knew Heeseung was not a good civilian when the older stepped into the hospital. The younger was aware that he was dangerous because of the number of scars Heeseung had on his body. Practically, the older was tarnished. His life was f*cked but God knows why Sunghoon chose to join his life too. He was supposed to settle with someone like him, who did not have a complicated living and always showed up in a great state when he opened his door.

Likewise, Heeseung emerged like an angel in disguise to contaminate him in a pleasurable way. Sunghoon was addicted to him and he would become restless if the older did not text him or visit him. The younger was concerned about his state because Heeseung’s life was invariably in jeopardy, his enemies were everywhere. Nonetheless, as soon as Heeseung was in Sunghoon’s arms, everything would be all right.

For Heeseung, including Sunghoon in his gang’s life, was reckless, he should not or never bring an innocent individual to something treacherous. However, Heeseung did not care as long as his beloved was safe under his care. The older sent someone to look over Sunghoon but the younger was unaware. Heeseung did not want to tell the doctor that he was being watched because he knew Sunghoon would be against and outraged about the idea.

Therefore, that would be his little secret. Heeseung’s life was above the law because he could get away with every crime he committed, the law and the government could not cease him. Only death and his beloved could end him right away as Heeseung could not bear living without Sunghoon, he was his soul, oxygen and future. The white and black merged which created pandemonium in their life.

After their heated coitus, Heeseung was extremely exhausted, his energy drained completely with marks and bruises blemished on his skin. The bullet injury had been long forgotten but Sunghoon never missed to treat the wound. When Heeseung was deeply asleep, Sunghoon got up from his bed and covered the older with the duvet. The doctor kissed him for the last time before entering the bathroom to wash himself.

He spent minutes in the shower thinking about a plan, a plan to find the person who shot Heeseung. Sunghoon was going to find the individual and torture him to death, the doctor was not a sane person either. He killed people if they were hurting the older. Every time Heeseung’s men discovered the traitors, they perished, left to be rotted. Sunghoon was not foolish, he glimpsed he was being followed by these men but opted not to say anything as he let Heeseung do whatever he wished for.

“Do not worry, my love, I will find this person while you rest.” The doctor whispered to his sleeping lover, and before Heeseung was fully unconscious, Sunghoon provided him medication stating it was a painkiller. The truth was that the tablets were sleeping pills, so Heeseung would not notice that Sunghoon had gone for a while.

They were lunatics for each other and would do anything to protect one another.
