Chapter Text
All foe one has always been curious about how or even if he could pass his quirk on to any children he might have. After all, he’d been there in the beginning, when ‘quirks’ were meta abilities and had seen quirks get stronger with every generation. He just hadn’t focused on it in the same way as he was focused on getting back the quirk that rightfully belonged to him.
That didn’t mean that he didn’t focus on the second part of his obsession, just that it fell to the wayside as ‘not as important’. He already had an heir in Tomura, but that boy was a bit of a loose cannon and wasn’t of his own blood. Sure he loved the twisted irony in that he was the one to save Tomura when no hero would, when they all looked at him as if he were a leper or a villain. He reveled I. The idea of watching All Might twist when he’d eventually reveal that he had stolen All Mights masters grandson and turned him into a villain.
srill, he wanted to know how a child of his own would take to his quirk, and if they did, it would have to increase in power. He’d seen it over the generations, how a relatively ‘simple’ or ‘weak’ quirk could turn into a powerhouse in just a few generations. So he was fascinated with the idea of finding a way to strengthen his own overpowered quirk by passing it on, and then, oh the possibilities. Maybe he’d even get a child who could steal back what rightfully belonged to him.
So he started looking. Looking for quirks that would compliment his. He started with a woman who could copy the quirk of a single person, thinking that it was already so much like his own. Testing the genes of that child with a quirk he’d forgotten he had he’d found out that the child would be able to copy up to five quirks, a good start but the testing quirk told him that the child’s quirk would not allow them to copy stockpiling quirks, so that first child was a bustz he let the woman live after wiping her memory. If nothing else he could steal that child’s quirk when they got older.
The next batch of women he tried all ended up either having children with random mutations of their mother’s quirks or ended up with miscarriages. So many mistakes. It didn’t stop him from selecting his latest ‘experiment’. Her name was Midoeiya Inko and she has a fascinating quirk called ‘Pull’ that she was severely underutilizing. He theorizes that with his quirk and hers perhaps the child they’d create would be able to ‘pull’ the quirks from people. But the genetic testing quirk told him that while the child in her womb registered as having a quirk, it was dormant and he couldn’t tell what it really was due to that fact. A dormant quirk meant the child would most likely present as ‘quirkless’.
He was going to try again with a woman he’d heard was in a quirk marriage with Endeavor, who’s already shown potential in having born children that had hints of both of their parents quirks when All Might had stumbled upon his operations. Due to having his head caved in, he didn’t remember that he’d even begun the ‘side’ project and because he didn’t trust Dr.Garaki, he hadn’t told him. That would come back to bite him much much later.
