League of Legends

Summary:

Izumi was left at an orphanage as her parents left for America, living in an orphanage with a lady who didn’t treat those under her care differently because of quirks. But sadly life loves to torment her.

Powder was orphaned at a young age with her older twin sisters. But after being called a Jinx by the people who took the three of them in they sent her back to the orphanage separating the sisters.

Kin didn’t know why they left. She care for them and thought of them as family, so why did they leave without at least telling them goodbye or leaving a note or something?

Chapter 1: Runaways

Chapter Text

I’m not seen as much of anything in my world. You see, I am born quirkless, but that’s not all. I have always wanted to be a hero, even after my mother and my father tossed me to the orphanage when I was four and moved to America. I suppose that I got lucky after I was moved to an orphanage called Kimura Home for Healing Children. The people there actually cared for me. They treated me with respect and kindness. There were actually other kids who were there because they had “villainous” or “weak” quirks and a few were even like me and quirkless.

The old lady that ran the place was named Yukina Kimura. She had a quirk that made her look like a willow tree. She was a first generation quirked woman who’s quirk had allowed her to live for over a hundred years. She had been running the orphanage since the beginning, taking in kids whose parents got rid of them for having quirks in general. She cared for all of us equally. There were twelve of us in the orphanage that were all close to the same age for the seven years that I spent there, before tragedy struck us.

A villain fight happened on the street in front of the orphanage and an attack managed to hit the building. Ms.Yukina Kimura was hit and ended up dying before the medics could arrive. All of us were immediately in fear of being separated and sent to worse places, but fate took pity on us, or so we thought at the time.

“Don’t worry young ones, we will help you,” said a beautiful woman with long blonde hair with fox ears and tail. She wore leggings and a skirt with a nice blouse. I recognized her as a member of the K-Pop group that were also part time heroes, Ahri of KDA. “I grew up in Ms. Kimura’s orphanage years ago, and I know that she helped take care of all of you in ways that most orphanages won’t. It was already an agreement I had with her, if anything was to happen to her that my group and I would take all of you in with our own private orphanage,” she explained. “While the others are finishing setting up the new building, I will be helping all of you pack up your stuff so we can all live there. So why don’t you all introduce yourselves?”

“I’m Powder, and I don’t have a quirk so you better not judge me nor them lady,” Powder declared.

“Hokage Hineta, my quirk is Vengeful Spirit,” a taller boy who was skinny with short brown hair introduced.

“Yugo Shiria, my quirk is called Hollowfication,” the boy with longer black hair said.

“Goichi Akagi, Enhanced Senses,” the blind boy said, walking up with his cane and messing with his dark brown hair.

“Doku Ayoki, my quirk is Rage Beast,” the boy with short black hair explained.

“Kineko Shira, Acrobatics,” the girl with long silvery white hair said.

“Blake Belladonna, Shadow Cat,” the girl with long black hair with two cat ears and a black tail waving behind her said.

“Ilia Amitola, Chameleon,” the smaller girl with longer dark brown hair said

“Yume Damura, Memory Smoke,” a girl with medium pink hair said.

“Anna, Power/Energy Absorption,” the smaller girl who was standing behind me said, fixing her gloves.

“Himiko, Transform,” the girl who had recently moved in said.

“Izumi Midoriya, quirkless,” I said.

“Alright, well, as most of you probably know, I am Ahri Vesani, leader of KDA,” she introduced herself.

We all slowly began to pack up our belongings, which wasn’t much. After we were all packed up we were loaded into a massive van, which how it could hold all of us was odd. When we arrived at the new location I was instantly convinced that this was going to change a lot. Unlike the brick building that was in the city this looked more like a modern day mansion in size and look. We were led into the building and were met with the other three members of KDA standing there. Akali was wearing a jacket over a loose shirt and jeans. Kai’Sa was wearing a tight crop top with leggings. Evelynn was wearing leather leggings and a shiny purple shirt.

“Hey, I’m Akali Tethi, nice to meet ya,” the rapper said.

“Hi, I’m Kai’sa Ariti, let me know if you need anything,” the dancer offered with a small smile.

“Hello, I’m Evelynn Slivia, I hope to provide you all the best lives we can provide,” the diva said, her voice softer than her normal tone.

“Um, h-hi,” a smaller voice said from behind them as two fox ears poked out from behind Kai’sa’s legs along with a tail. “I-I’m Kin Vesani,” a girl with golden blonde hair said, stepping out.

“So, a few things that we suppose we need to explain to you all is that all of us are married and this is our daughter Kin,” Ahri explained. “She’s twelve years old right now.”

The next two years were both wonderful and terrible times for us. KDA had decided that we should all go to a private school, the same as their daughter, but there we were treated worse than at Aldara. The students were all from affluent families and we weren’t, we were orphans whose parents hadn’t wanted us. Even worse, they were even more quirkist than anyone else. Once it came out what our quirks were, what they could do, and if we didn’t have any at all they all treated us as nothing more than tools for them to use. We were all banned from clubs and teams.

However, at our new “home” it wasn’t too much better. Whenever Kin had some form of event we were left alone so KDA could all go cheer her on. When they were all there they did try to help us with different things. Kineko, Ilia, and I usually hung out with Akali who would help us get more nimble and work on our acrobatics.

“Wow, you three are doing wonderful,” she praised.

“Well, it helps when people always chase you and you need to escape bullies,” I muttered.

“Come on, I know it’s probably difficult at school but it couldn’t have been that bad,” Akali said.

“You wouldn’t understand, you have a quirk,” I shot back.

“But I grew up as if I was quirkless, until I got my back tattoo,” she explained, motioning towards the dragon that was partially visible under her tank top.

“And that was how long ago? It’s well known that KDA has been together for over twenty years and you don’t look much older than twenty so it must make you age slower like the others. Times have changed, being quirkless might as well as be a death sentence,” I said. “I’m done,” I decided, walking out to my room shared with Powder.

That night the band left for Kin’s concert since she took after them and was a singer. All of us gathered up in my room.

“I’m fed up!” Powder shouted. “We’ve been here for two years and it’s been terrible. We would be better off just leaving and going on our own!”

“But then we won’t be able to become heroes,” Yugo sighed.

“Why be heroes? They haven’t helped us,” Himiko muttered.

“You’re right, we can be better,” I said. “Heroes do it for the money, but we can do it for the right thing and be vigilantes. I mean, with our abilities and such we can easily take down lower powered villains and criminals.”

“Izumi, are you sure about that?” Blake asked.

“Yeah, I mean, you know how strong you are, and Powder-”

“Jinx,” she interrupted.

“What?” Kineko asked.

“I won’t be Powder anymore, I’ll be what the people who took my sisters called me, a Jinx,” she decided.

“Well, we can build a lot of things. We have more mechanical knowledge than most adults do,” I explained, recalling the mechanical engineering books we read all the time.

“But what should we call ourselves?” Doku asked.

“We’ll be the League of Legendary People,” Goichi said.

“Why don’t we shorten it to League of Legends?” I asked.

“I like it,” Powder (Jinx?) said.

“Then we should move now, everyone, pack a single bag and we can head out now,” I said, recalling a place we could use as a starting base.

Once we were all packed up I led us down the road and while it took us two days eventually I got us to the beach I had passed as a child all the time, it was filled with trash and was the perfect place for us to stay hidden.

Two Years Later

“Remember your group’s job, deal with the teachers. Got it Zero?” the hand guy said.

“Yeah, whatever,” I said, adjusting my pistol as I looked at my crew in their assorted costumes.

Jinx had grown her hair into two extra long braids with her blue hair. She wore a crop top with tight pants and crossed belts. She had her cannon on her back and pistol in her hand as her eyes glowed an odd purple color from the chemicals she had accidentally inhaled.

Hokage was wearing black leather pants and jacket as his skull was visible through the flames that engulfed him. His motorcycle that Jinx and I built looked like a vehicle from hell as it matched his moniker, Ghost Rider.

Yugo’s face was covered with a white mask as he wore a black and white outfit similar to a newer hero whose powers are somewhat similar to his own. He had a large blade from his quirk on his back as well as one on his waist. He went by the name Zangetsu.

Goichi wore a fully red armored costume with DD on the chest and two small horns on the head with his eyes covered by the mask. His name was Daredevil.

Doku messed with the metal bracer we built to control his other form as he wore size changing shorts and tank top. His name was what his quirk called itself, Hulk.

Kineko wore a skin tight black catsuit with white fur around her neck and a domino mask. Her father was a thief and used a similar costume. Her body had grown a lot more than most of us and she filled out the chest of her new costume. Her name was Black Cat.

Blake wore a fully covered black and purple costume with armour. Her costume was cat themed as was her name, Black Panther.

Ilia was wearing a skin tight shirt that shifted colors with her along with booty shorts. She went by Shifter.

Yume wore a simple shirt and skirt combo with a mask covering her eyes and forehead. She decided she wanted to be called Dreamer.

Anna wore a black tank top under a thin green shirt. She also wore a black skirt and green leggings with black boots. She went by Rogue.

Himiko chose to wear a full cover catsuit with knives hidden all over that would fill canisters with blood for her to use. We called her Dhampir.

I had a tactical suit that protected me from attacks and used guns and katanas. My costume was white and black with the eyes being enlarged and a Z on the belt. (Deadpool’s X-Force suit)

We had agreed to an attack we heard about on UA. It was supposed to be on the students of the hero course and teachers with them at an off site location. However we had a different plan, fight the villains and take them out before they could do anything. The plan included killing All Might, and despite us not fully agreeing with him and his opinions on certain topics, I knew that it was better to keep him alive, especially with his condition that I learned about after a chance meeting with him.

We were all prepared to split up and take out all of the people before they could do anything. Dhampir would get some of their DNA to secretly give to the authorities to identify them if they managed to escape.

“Alright, let’s go,” Handyman said, walking through the purple portal as the large bird-like creature followed him.

“Don’t forget the plan guys,” I said, holstering my pistol as we followed.

Chapter 2: The USJ

Chapter Text

POV Jinx

I smirked as I stood behind the hand man as we walked through the portal. He started his boring announcement to the students at the entrance which I didn’t really pay attention to. Then Zero gave me the go ahead for the plan and my grin widened as I lifted up my pistol and shot Handjob in the leg.

As he fell Hulk went green and grabbed the giant black dude and threw him into the mountain area before leaping after him.

“What the hell are you doing!?” Handjob asked.

“Did you really think vigilantes would help you attack students?” Zero asked, pulling out her pistol and shooting him in the chest.

Her bullets were rubber, unlike mine. I then took out my cannon and shot at the feet of the thugs that were brought around as the rest of the League took them out.

“Ya know, your League of Villains is kinda infringing on our League of Legends,” I said, laughing as I watched Hulk fly from the mountain area. “Hey Green, what happened?”

“He seems to ignore hits, I hate to admit it but I can’t take him down,” he explained.

“Hmm,” I hummed as Zero and Handjob fought. “Zero, permission to break rule one on big black monster?”

“Sure, use it,” she said.

“Perfect,” I grinned, as I loaded my fire shot into the cannon and waited for the beast to jump down after Hulk. “Eat This!” I yelled, shooting him as he appeared.

“Nomu was bioengineered to kill All Might, a blast like that won’t do anything to him! Nomu kill her!” Handjob yelled.

I stood for a second as my grin grew.

“Wanna know something interesting? When people can regenerate you can stop it by cauterizing the wound and the flames of the shot I just sent at him made it so he can’t regenerate and I hit his legs so he isn’t walking anytime soon,” I laughed.

“What! Nomu! Kill her now!” He yelled as Zero managed to slice one of the hands off his costume. “Kurogiri! Get me out of here!”

“So, who’s next?” I asked, aiming at the thugs only to find a familiar white cloth to shoot out at me. “Hey! Eraser, I am trying to protect your class here!”

“You are also a known villain and terrorist, one good thing doesn’t get rid of many wrongs. The whole League will be arrested,” he said.

“Who’s orders?” Zero asked.

“The law,” he growled.

Just then the doors burst open and teachers flooded in.

“Ghost Rider, Hulk, Zangetsu, Rogue, cover our retreat!” Zero called out before a rush of wind shot past us.

“Sorry to ruin your plans,” a deep voice boomed as All Might held Hulk in a headlock.

Zero, code grey!” Hulk said, adjusting his bracer to zero personal control of his strong form. His skin went from a brighter green to a light grey tone as his body grew to be a little bigger than All Might. “Hulk Smash!”

“Everyone! Move out!” Zero said as a massive tank-like vehicle smashed into the building.

“That won’t be necessary, Izumi Midoriya,” a high pitched voice said as the vehicle deactivated and the doors didn’t open.

“Who are you?” I demanded as I turned around with my pistol.

“Am I a mouse, a bear, a dog? Who knows? All that matters is that I am the principal of UA, and I want to chat with all of you, privately of course,” a small white rodent said, making his way towards us. “Now then, if you could please calm the Hulk down I would love to make this a much better conversation.”

“Code Green,” Zero said into her communicator that acted as a secondary control for Hulk’s bracer.

“Zero?” I asked.

“If we surrender right now, will you ensure that we won’t be separated?” She asked the rat.

“Even better, I will help you be able to legally be heroes,” he said.

“Deal,” she said. “Jinx, put your guns down,” Zero added, tossing her guns and swords down.

“Fine,” I muttered, tossing them down.

“You know, after looking at some of the stuff that you have made, I can’t wait to see what your quirk is,” Excavator Man said, picking them up.

“Well, sorry to disappoint you, but I don’t have a quirk,” I snarked back.

“You seriously built stuff like this quirkless? Sorry but I can’t believe that,” he said.

Eventually we were all handcuffed and taken to a special room in UA where we could wait until Zero and Nezu finished their conversation in the room next to us. The two people they had in the room with us were a porn star and the hobo hero.

“What? No!” Izumi yelled.

“Oi, what’s going on in there?” Yugo asked.

“Nothing that I can tell you,” Eraser said.

“Come on, we came peacefully and now our bosses are talking, if Zumi’s shouting like that then this might not end well for some people,” I said.

“You are all cuffed with quirk suppressants and have two pro heroes in the room, do you really like your odds?” the porn star asked.

“I mean, if you think these cuffs are supposed to stay on then yeah,” I said, holding four pairs of cuffs. “The only question is, who’s cuffs did I remove?”

“How did you do that?” Eraser asked.

The door then opened and the rat appeared.

“Jinx, if you would join us for a second opinion,” he said, leaving no option of discussion.

I got up and dropped the four cuffs I held out as well as four more where I was sitting. I walked into the room and sat next to Izumi who looked pissed.

“So, whatcha want my opinion for?” I asked.

“Simply put, I am starting a class for young vigilantes and villains who I believe aren’t truly evil but just dealt a bad hand. Now with this class they would be living in UA in a special dorm with a group of heroes living there, I will also move a normal hero student to the class to give them someone who isn’t like them to assist them in opening up and learning to do the right thing even if people don’t accept them,” he explained. “I already have a full class roster and was planning on offering this to you later, however this felt like the right time.”

“So, what’s the catch that made Zumi mad?” I asked.

“Well, Miss Powder-”

“Jinx.”

“I beg your pardon?”

“My name is Jinx, not Powder,” I corrected.

“I see, well, Miss Jinx, the heroes that I planned on leading this class is Midnight as well as the members of KDA-”

“Fuck no! Those chicks don’t know how to treat kids like us at all. They thought it would be a good idea to send us to a rich kid school and would leave us high and dry to go do anything with their daughter,” I shot back.

“I understand that is how you feel, but I have discussed it with them after revealing the fact that I knew you were under their care before running away, and they said that they know where they went wrong, but had the best intentions,” he explained. “Let me put it this way, either you agree to this, or I have no choice but to send you to jail.”

“Jinx, I don’t want to be under them again, and I doubt that any of the others will either, but I think we should go for it, give them a chance,” Izumi said, her voice strained.

“Hmm, fine, but on the condition that you don’t try to make the others wear quirk suppressants that can be activated randomly. Those things mess up a person’s quirk and cause damage to their brain,” I said.

“Deal,” he agreed.

We walked back into the room with the rest and Izumi explained the deal to the rest of them. None were overly happy, but accepted it. The heroes led us through campus to the dorm we would be using. It was a brick building, but I could tell that it was reinforced. The floors were separated with two sides, boys on the left and girls on the right. Four rooms per floor. We stuck to the ones that were the lowest floors since we wanted to be as close as we could be. The doors going from side to side would lock at nine at night from what he explained as we walked up and showed us the plans. When we walked in we were greeted with a sight that made most of us pissed. KDA was standing there with a fifth person. She had long blue hair and bright eyes with a Star piercing on her cheek. Along with them was also Kin.

“Who’s this? Your new fuck buddy?” I asked, looking at the girl.

“Powder!”

“Jinx, my name is Jinx. Powder died the day you took us in, I just didn’t know it,” I said.

“Powder,” Kin said, almost sad.

“If you don’t call me by my name then don’t bother,” I growled, not being able to hold back my anger much longer.

“Screw it, I’m going to bed,” I said, storming past them and to the stairs.

I walked into the last room on the first floor and found a basic bed with a desk and dresser. There was also a private bathroom. I laid on the bed and shut my eyes as I felt the drugs I made flow through my body as I craved more.

Damn it, guess I will have to find a way to sneakily make more.

AN-

A little fast paced here, but it’s Jinx and her mind doesn’t pay attention to moments when there’s nothing interesting going on so it just doesn’t stick to her mind. I hope you all enjoyed it and please leave a comment if you can because I am terrified of how this fic is going to be accepted by everyone. I know that you probably think I am being overly sensitive and I probably am, but I just want to make sure that people aren’t hating it because I really enjoy this idea. Chapter 3: Questions

Chapter Text

I have some questions and want your opinions!

First, should I change the rating to E and make some more explicit scenes or keep it at M and make them less explicit?

Also, should I include the ships that I am thinking about including or wait?

Finally, what should Bakugou’s reaction to Izumi being a vigilante be?

Thank you all for reading and giving me your opinions on these thoughts. Make sure to follow, favorite, comment, and kudos! Link Out’

Chapter 4: Conversations

Chapter Text

POV Jinx

I woke up and immediately felt like shit. My whole body felt heavy and as if I was encased in concrete.

You know your body needs the shimmer you make. The voice in my head said.

Or I need my HRT which is at the base, fuck me. I thought back.

A knock at the door stopped my thought process.

“What the fuck do you want?” I called out.

“Um, Pow-Jinx, I was asked to deliver you your medicine,” Kin’s voice said. “I um, also wanted to see if we could just talk for a bit. Izumi and I talked last night and I wanted to ask you a couple of questions.”

“Come on in,” I said, getting out of bed in just my underwear and grabbing my shorts, putting them back on as the door opened.

“They’re um, HRT,” Kin said, looking away from me probably since I didn’t have a shirt or bra on at the moment.

“Thanks,” I took the bottle from her. I downed one of the pills quickly. “So, what cha want to know?”

“Why didn’t you tell me anything?”

“Simple, you wouldn’t understand.”

“But still-”

“You were born with a golden spoon in your mouth. How could you understand what a kid who was born to a family that lived in poverty was going through? How I felt every time someone made a comment or looked at me as if I was a shit stain?” I asked. “You can’t, you were always showered with praise, looked at and treated as a princess. You don’t know what it feels to be thrown back to an orphanage while your sisters are kept by a family that doesn’t deserve to take them away from you just because you want to be who you truly are even if it wasn’t how you were born, but the worst part is when you learn that they have another sister from the people who adopted them and treat her better than they ever did you!” I shouted as my anger rose from my spying on my “sisters”.

“I-”

“You don’t know what it’s like to be abandoned by your own family.”

“But that’s what you did to me,” she said. “I thought that we were basically a family, but I guess that’s not what you all thought.”

“We are a family, you weren’t one of us,” I declared.

She stood there for a moment as tears pricked the edges of her eyes. Then she silently left.

I stood there as I tried to figure out how to make some more shimmer before I got dressed.

POV Izumi

“So, when can we recover the rest of our gear?” I asked, looking at Ahri.

“Nezu hasn’t told us, this was all tossed together yesterday,” Evelynn said, walking down with the blue haired girl behind her.

“Hey, sorry about what Jinx said yesterday. Honestly we aren’t all that excited to be living with them again after last time but most of us are willing to try to put that to the side for now. She’s just not the type to keep her thoughts in her head,” I explained.

“Why do you keep calling Powder Jinx?” Ahri asked.

“It’s her name, I’m sure you read her file, but there’s a lot that you don’t know since it wasn’t put in her file and she only explained it to me given reasons,” I said.

“It’s fine, I suppose given their not so normal relationship that she might assume that, but no, I am just part of the band,” she said. “Your name is Izumi right?”

“Yeah, Seraphine?”

“Correct,” she said. “So, what exactly have you been doing as vigilantes?”

“Well, we spend most of our time in the areas of Japan where heroes avoid going. Kamino, Zaun, and places like that,” I explained. “We’ve been protecting the people there that are forgotten.”

“Isn’t Zaun where I-Island is docked?” she asked.

“Yeah, it’s the slums with zero heroes. Crime runs rampant there. Drug dealers at every turn, killers in every alley, rapists in every bar, it’s a crime den,” Goichi said, walking into the room without his cane.

“Ok, so- um, I had a brief explanation of your quirks, but are you really blind?” Seraphine asked, looking at him.

“Well yes, but actually no,” Goichi chuckled. “My eyes don’t work, but with my quirk all of my senses were enhanced to the extreme. I can make a model of the world around me in my head. I can tell that you have long hair, skin smooth by a lotion with coconut oil, and either you accidentally used some of Ahri’s shampoo and conditioner or you were-”

“I-I think that’s e-enough. I think I understand,” she said, her face blushing and I noticed a small shake in her voice.

“Oh, hey Kin,” I said as she walked down the stairs slowly. “How was your talk with Jinx?”

“It was something,” she said, her voice rough as if she was crying.

“Jinx doesn’t mince words, she comes off as an ass when she can’t say something only in a nice way. Don’t take everything personal from her. Doesn’t help she’s been having to take street HRT and not the regular stuff a doctor prescribes,” I explained. “It makes her mood swings a lot worse.”

“Then there are the days she’s just a bitch,” Hokage added.

“That too,” I admitted.

“When did all of you change?” Kin asked.

“We haven’t changed a bit, we just were able to drop our masks around others,” Anna spoke up, her southern American accent cutting through the air with her words. “When we had to be around rich folk we had to act as if we were normal folk, sugah.”

“Really? But why didn’t you act like this around us?” Kin asked.

“You guys are rich and famous, do you really think anyone would act like this around you?” Yugo asked. “When you have fan meet and greets do they tend to treat you all as if you are higher than them and never curse in any form?” he asked, looking at Akali.

“Yeah, basically. Never really understood or cared why,” Akali said.

“See, now we just don’t care,” I said. “Other than our shadows.”

“Shadows?” Kai’Sa asked.

“Blake, Ilya, Kiniko, and Himiko. They all work purely in the shadows and sneak around everywhere they can so we call them shadows,” Yume said.

“Nezu said that a couple of your new classmates will be arriving later today, try not to kill them or make them kill you was his only request,” Ahri sighed, looking at her phone.

“No promises other than we will try our best,” I offered.

“Better than I expected,” Evelynn sighed.
