Symphony of The Damned

Summary:

With every year more and more demons die at the hands of Adam and his exterminator army but the princess of hell is tired of the fighting and so against her parents wishes creates the Hazbin Hotel in an attempt to rehabilitate her people and get them into Heaven.

Though she is quickly going to learn not everything is easy and maybe everyone can be redeemed.

Here are some of the changes I made in this AU, more information of my AU will be on my Tumblr PhantomBrain.

The WattPad version is called Welcome to Safe Haven

First off Charlie and her family keep their last name as Magne like it was in the pilot.

Secondly, Vaggie isn't going to be an Exterminator like her canon counterpart (more on that later)

Third, Alastor is going to be a tragic character that will have people divided on if he is truly irredeemable kind of like his canon counterpart. Alastor is also going to have a character digression and progression.

Also Heaven is going to be way more friendly and the Exterminators are going to serve a purpose in Heaven as the protectors and this is all the main civilians know.

Chapter 1: Characters and Lore!

Summary:

Just a simple lore chapter which talks about the characters lore and what chapters they will appear in.

Notes:

This is going to only contain the "necessary" characters.

So with this being a rewrite obviously that means i changed some things but what I think I should state is this takes inspiration from ZooPhobia, Helluva Boss, and Hazbin Hotel (only the pilot)

 

Here are all the characters that will be featured in my rewrite, trust me you can skip this, it really is just a ton of lore and when these characters will appear.

 

Charlie Magne 

Charlie is going to be very similar to her pilot variant. Vaggie and Charlie actually meet as kids in my rewrite and are honestly adorable together, Charlie will be in every chapter no matter what. Charlie will do actual royal stuff and we will also see her act naive but not dumb there will be scenes where she acts dumb and naive like when she first meets Vox but she isn't going to be flat out stupid, I mainly don't have a lot to add because she is just an adorable little bean.

 

Vaggie

Vaggie is first introduced in "Overture" and like Charlie is pretty much in every chapter, Vaggie and Angel Dust share a punishment which in my lore is a quirk sinners have to torment their lives, Vaggie's punishment is when anytime she is stressed, sad, or angry eyes will float around her and make her more insecure. Vaggie is not going to be an Exterminator in my rewrite and instead she is going to be a sinner, well for the most part. 

 

Angel Dust

Angel Dust will remain a fashionable and adorable drag queen, Angel Dust does bad things but means well in the end. Angel Dust will spend most chapters and parts in the background but during the chapter "Hellywood" we see him in a darker light as Charlie follows him to his work. The next time Angel Dust appears in a starring role is the chapter "Family Web" which will be about his family as they come to the hotel to get Angel to rejoin the mafia though Husk is quick to defend Angel but this results in a fight with Angel being kidnapped and forced to marry a girl from a rival mob.

 

Husk

Husk is the bartender and concierge for the Hazbin Hotel, Husk is going to keep a lot of his original story but Husk will do anything to gain freedom from Alastor even betraying the person he loves. Husk first appears in the chapter "Now Open For Business" and doesn't reappear in a major role till "Hellywood" Husk is pretty much the exact same as i stated before but you'll see how he acts in the story.

 

Baxter

Baxter is the hotel's resident scientist and bellboy, Baxter was roped into the hotel because Alastor couldn't think of anyone else to summon so as he puts it in "Now Open For Business" Baxter is practically his most worthless soul that he owns. Baxter is weak in almost everything he does and is the weakest soul in probably all of Hell. 

 

Alastor, Rosie and the Other Cannibals

Alastor first appears in "Now Open For Business" and is again almost every chapter, Alastor can speak French and does it often when his around people he trusts. Alastor is always super stylish and he has family in Hell some you will be surprised to meet. 

The next is Rosie, Rosie appears in "Now Open For Business" but doesn't appear and is really only mentioned, she doesn't appear again until "Moth to a Flame" this chapter has Vaggie deal with her punishment getting to bad to wear nothing can calm her down except the motherly talk of Rosie, Alastor and Rosie have a very mother son relationship as Rosie will usually be seen stroking his hair to help him calm down or sleep. All the cannibals are fashionable and only dance to "Hello Dolly" if you wear anything past 1950 you're dead.

 

Niffty is just Niffty, she's batshit insane!

 

Now we move onto the side characters have a very minor role.

 

Cherri Bomb

Cherri Bomb is the best friend to Angel Dust and is quite a party girl but she understands when enough is enough like when she comforts him in "Hellywood" which is when she first appears in the story, I wanted to differentiate my version of Cherri Bomb from canon and fan interpretations by making her ftm. Cherri Bomb doesn't join the hotel until real late in the story she'll join the hotel in the second season as a means of protecting Angel Dust as she views the hotel unsafe to protect him.

 

Sir Pentious

The wannabe Overlord, Sir Pentious. Pentious really doesn't appear and is only mentioned by Cherri Bomb when she talks about how bad their fights can get with Cherri mentioning how despite losing all the time Pentious continues to fight against her until it is revealed he has a crush at the end of season 2 by kissing her directly on extermination day. Sir Pentious is a master of hypnotism and despite being very powerful Pentious can be idiotic and this causes his powers to no longer work.

 

Adam

Adam is going to be antagonistic like his canon counterpart but there will be more to him than him just being a misogynist, he's complex and part of him is hurt by the exterminations as he still sees every sinner as his descendant but since he works under Adina he can do nothing but watch and obey her command. Now with Lute I changed her from being Adam's girlfriend to being Adam's daughter, while it may seem like an odd change I believe Adam and Eve should stay together.

 

Adina:

For those who don't know who Adina is, she is from the ZooPhobia series which is the parent comic to the original Hazbin Hotel, basicallly Adina was like canon Adam. Adina enjoys watching sinners suffer and states it is in the good will of the lord which is just false but no dares to defy her, also in this rewrite Adina is the mother of Sera and Emily. Get ready for the drama

Next up on characters is Lucifer and Lilith (yes I am talking about them both at once)

We all know how Lucifer acts in the show, a cute ducky boy which hey I like it but come on he can be so much more threatening so this rewrite basically will make Lucifer like the fan interpretations from before the show. Lucifer is never going to be supportive to Charlie's dream and doesn't appear until late in the story in the chapter "LuLu World." Now for Lilith I rewrote her to be on tour throughout the other rings and she'll appear in season 2/ the second arc. 

 

God:

While God technically doesn't exist in the canon of the Hellaverse for my rewrite God is going to be way different than most interpretations I've seen, for my version God is going to be a theatrical character always strutting and always treating life as a performance. God appears first through flashbacks by Lucifer and during the flashback chapter Lucifer talks about his mother and father during a bedtime story for Charlie. God then finally makes his grand debut in the chapter "Welcome to Heaven"

Mother Earth:

Mother Earth is the Goddess of Life and the wife to God and mother of every first gen angel. Mother Earth loves to spread life anf fertility everywhere and she loves her kids so much even Lucifer, unlike God who has become bitter Mother Earth still loves her son and is ecstatic when she learns she has a granddaughter. Mother Earth first appears in chapter "Mother's Day" and then appears in "Welcome to Heaven"

Head canon Voice: Christina Vee.

 

Emily:

Emily is the daughter to the divine judge Adina, Emily is adorable and naive and absolutely loves Charlie's idea for the hotel. I don't want to change much about Emily and my only real change is Emily's origins and who her family is as I want to keep her mostly the same but with a few changes to change her to make her different from her canon counterpart. Emily will appear in the chapter "Welcome to Heaven"

 

Seraphiel "Sera"

Sera is the Head Seraph of Heaven and works directly under her mother, I wanted to make Sera basically two characters in one, when Sera is with her mother she enjoys the exterminations and revels in the thought of watching Hell burn but when she is with Emily she puts on a soft sisterly tone to ease her pain. My version of Sera can best be described as a mix of Kovu from the Lion King and The Golden Guard from the Owl House. Sera doesn't appear in "Welcome to Heaven" and her debut appearance is in the chapter "Never Meet Your Heroes"

 

Now here are the villains

 

Valentino

Valentino is the Overlord of Pornography and all other forms of sin, Valentino is a smug horrible jerk like his canon counterpart but he is shown to have a soft spot for Velvet as he sees her as a daughter and will do anything to protect her. Valentino first appears in the chapter "Hellywood" where we see two sides of Valentino, the side we saw in the show who is an abusive director and "boyfriend" to Angel Dust but a very fatherly version of his character is shown when we see him with Velvet as the main message of Hazbin has always been "Anyone can be redeemed if they try" I want to pull the heartstrings of those who read for my version of Valentino.

 

Vox

Vox is the Overlord of Television and technology and owns the souls to almost all the entertainment overlords (aside from Valentino and Velvet) Vox is a massive jerk who is basically Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Walt Disney all in one. Vox and Valentino's relationship is very rocky and annoying for both of them as they both have differing opinions on their "daughter" Valentino loves Velvet and treats her like she is a toddler while Vox couldn't both either having her in his life and has on numerous occasions tried to mail her away, jokes aside Vox first appears in the chapter "Revamption Not Allowed" 

 

Velvet

Velvet is the Overlord of Social Media and Fashion, and is the PR for her two "dads" though she doesn't do a very good job at it. Velvet is very childish and just plain stupid, I based my version off of the old Voxtagram posts combined with some of my own ideas. Velvet is first mentioned in the chapter "Revamption Not Allowed" and makes her debut in "Hellywood" where she attempts to get Vaggie to sign a modeling contract and attempts to own her soul. Velvet may not physically abuse her workers but she gives them eating disorders and emotionally abuses them.

 

Carmilla Carmine

Carmilla Carmine is the Overlord of Weaponry and Protection, Carmilla appears in the season 2 chapter "Meet Your Masters" at the end of the chapter she and Vaggie have a conversation where she describes herself as "an angel without the gift of wings" she is a very morbid and sad character that will honestly shock you when I do the final season. Carmilla really is just a more depressed version of her canon self as she is very motherly towards her daughters and even Vaggie.

 

Camilla 

Camilla is a character from ZooPhobia who I have repurposed for my rewrite of Hazbin Hotel, I want to emulate a lot of what ZooPhobia did with this character mixed in with my own ideas. Camilla is a twenty one year old human sinner who is most notably the most human looking reflecting her nature, she is very misunderstood and everyone in Hell thinks of her as an easy side piece to have though she is much more than that. Camilla will appear in the season 1b chapter "Dancin' Dirty"

Roo

Roo is going to be the main villain, i am not revealing any lore for her until her debut.

Chapter 2: Overture

Summary:

The story of the princess of Hell and how she and her girlfriend plan on rehabilitating sinners

The Princess of Hell sat alone on a skyscraper, she was on the balcony and she looked at the sky in which Heaven sat, their exorcists ravaged Hell yet again and killed more people, she tried once to convince Heaven to stop the exterminations but...

They turned her away for the leader of the exorcists views clashed with Charlotte and the young princess was left in tears so she turned to her father and her uncle Satan expecting some word of advice or maybe a song to cheer her up but no when she arrived at her palace and went to her uncle anf father crying, begging them to tell Heaven to call it off the two merely pointed outside in which the exorcists descended upon the earth leaving the young princess worse than she was.

Why did they not care? Why did they turn a blind eye to their people? It was unfair, and so the young princess wept alone from outside her palace, her tears staining her dress and making her eyes red and puffy. It didn't make sense to her. Her father and uncle were two of the most powerful people in Hell, yet they would rather hide! Charlotte couldn't take it, and she stood up screaming, screaming the anguish of those who died because Heaven played judge and jury.

Charlotte heard singing, it intrigued her, she loved theatre and wanted to know who carried such an amazing voice with them, the princess curiously walked through the destroyed streets, she had that still on her mind but possibly this song could help distract her, then her mind actually focused on the lyrics. Whoever sung this song was filled with sorrow, and the young Charlotte wanted to give whoever the person was a hug.

A young girl no older than the princes stood alone with eyes around her and umbrella in hand. She was singing the song that had infatuated the princess. Charlotte found the woman and was interested. Why was she all alone? Especially on Exterminations Day! Charlotte walked to the girl, "hi..I liked your song" Charlotte spoke soft as if trying not to embarrass the girl, but it was to late as the girl was blushing "I didn't realize I was singing out loud!" 

Charlotte noticed the girl's reaction and felt bad. She didn't mean to embarrass the girl, and besides, no one was there! Why did everyone always act weird when the princess was near!? "Please, no need to be embarrassed! I liked your song, though why are you all alone? Isn't it dangerous?" The princess asked. The girl was taken aback by the kindness, she'd only ever had the same once and that was a long time ago "I just arrived here in Hell" Charlotte frowned she didn't even know it was possible for humans to die this young and be sent to Hell, the young girl was probably younger than her by a year or two. The girl sighed, "I don;t like talking about my past, and ever since I got here, these floating eyes have been bothering me." The girl swatted the eyes but more reappeared. "Oh, that's your punishment." The girl looked confused as both she and the princess sat on a steps "Punishment?" Charlotte nodded "yeah every sinner has a different one, and yours is eyes float around you. " The young girl was shocked and confused. Why were they following her? Was it something she did in life?

Charlotte then had a thought and turned to the young girl, smiling a bit as an idea popped into her head. Maybe this would help the young girl! Charlotte hugged the younger girl tightly, "Hey, it's okay, think happy thoughts, and the eyes might go away! If they do you can come to my palace and we can watch a movie and have ice cream! How does that sound?" The girl smiled, and her heart began beating fast, a friend! She hadn't had one of those in a long time! Her smile was large but then Charlotte took notice to the girls one eye, the left was freshly gouged out and the blood still dripped down the girls cheek, Charlotte was shocked and the girl was embarrassed, she hid her left side of her face away, hoping not to be made fun of, her punishment was eyes, a reminder of what had happened to her and now the princess saw it. Charlotte was surprised it took her this long to notice it, the eye was so noticeable, but she didn't think anything of it, the young girl didn't like talking about her past, the princess wasn't going to force her. Charlotte didn't want the young girl to be upset, so she hugged her again. The girl was surprised, but let it happen "sorry I'm a hugger."

The young girl smiled, "I'm Vaggie, by the way," the Princess let out another smile "well that's a fun name. I'm Charlotte, but everyone calls me Charlie. " Vaggie had to admit it, but this girls enthusiasm was infectious.

Charlotte became fast friends with Vaggie, and soon, the two became girlfriends, and years later, with a whole tone of ambition and stolen money from her parents, Charlotte opened the Happy Hotel to rehabilitate sinners. Though her parents disowned her, that did not stop the young princess and her goal of rehabilitating sinners to get into Heaven.

Chapter 3: Now Open For Business!

Summary:

Charlie and her girlfriend decide to pitch the hotel to all of Hell but it ends up blowing up in her face though luckily for her she gets one of the best or worst surprises

Charlie walked with her girlfriend down the street to Channel 666 news which after the young princess's constant begging was allowed to go on the air to discuss her passion project.

Charlie walked into the news station to see the news reporters Katie Killjoy and Tom Trench, the two watched as the two filmed the news for the day "hello sinners, I'm Katie Killjoy and this is my limp dick husband Tom Trench!" The two began talking about how the two demons, Sir Pentious and Cherri Bomb were having a turf war

"These two keep fighting tooth and nail for that hot spot after the last extermination" right after Katie said that Tom mentioned how he would love to nail Cherri Bomb's hot spot, Katie then grabbed her coffee and poured coffee on her husband's crotch as the feed cut, Vaggie tightened Charlie's bow tie "you remember what to say?" Vaggie questioned, "yeah I know what to say I just think we should spruce up your script" Vaggie raised an eyebrow from her one eye "I think we should you know up your script to be more theatrical" Vaggie sighed "life isn't a musical hon..just follow my talking points and this can't fail" Charlie pouted "not even one song?" Vaggie couldn't help but smile "just go out there and be yourself" Charlie walked on the TV set and stuck her hand out and smiled "hi I'm here for the interview I'm Charlie" Katie Killjoy smoked from a cigar "Katie Killjoy, I'd say that it's a pleasure to meet you but that'd be a lie, you can put that away I don't touch the gays" Charlie frowned "I'm bi, I'm not gay actually-" Katie instantly interrupted her and sat her in her seat "and we're live, here we have the daughter of Hell's very own king and she's here to tell us about her brand new passion project, so Charlotte what is this passion project you keep pestering our news station about?"

Charlie sighed "as you all know I was born here in Hell, and in this last extermination we suffered worse than ever and I hate to see my people be slaughtered every day because they aren't given a chance to prove themselves so I'm opening the first of its kind; a hotel that rehabilitates sinners!" Hell went quiet as the princess attempted to pitch her idea.

The princess was then mocked "so you just expect people to just be good just because?" Katie Killjoy mocked, Charlie nodded "yeah I do and we have our first client who has been clean for three weeks" Katie raised an eyebrow "and who would that be?" Charlie sat on the desk and tried to look confident "oh you know just a demon named; Angel Dust.

"The porn star?" Tom questioned, Katie's nails scratched across the desk "you fuckin' would Tom"

Then the news instantly changed to Angel Dust joining in on the turf war, "wow look what we have here porn actor Angel Dust joining in the battle against Sir Pentious, looks like your project is dead on arrival and how does it feel to be such a huge failure?" Charlie looked down but then put on fake confidence "well how does it feel that I got your pen? Huh, bitch?" Katie Killjoy got angry and her mantis legs appeared from her back. The two had fought which ended with Charlie, Vaggie, and Angel Dust all silent in the back of a limo.

The silence was then broken by Angel Dust looking for liquor inside the limo, Vaggie groaned, "Why are you like this?" Angel Dust raised an eyebrow jokingly."Why am I like what?" Vaggie scoffed, Angel Dust chuckled and opened a bottle of champagne "because I'm a fucking slut" Vaggie then looked at him "this isn't a joke" Angel Dust drank from his glass "oh come on lighten up Vagina, it's not like your girlfriend got hurt and it's not like I got hurt, you still have your main star, me" Vaggie sighed and shook her head "fine" Angel Dust smiled "hey if you wanna make the next commercial a threesome I can work something out" Charlie sighed and looked at her girlfriend "Vaggie are you ok?" Vaggie sighed "I just...we were on live TV and all of Hell saw our joke of a hotel and the fact that our one and only patron is a fuckboy who just ruined it on live TV" 

Angel Dust gasped, offended "what?! I'm not a fuckboy, I'm a fuckgirl too" Charlie sighed "we should've done better" Angel Dust smirked "well you can still all you need is to appeal to the masses" Angel Dust's bottom arms grabbed his chest fluff and his top arms gestured to his face and body. Vaggie sighed and shook her head again "no" Angel Dust raised an eyebrow and smiled "oh come on Vags, just let me have a crack at the publicity, I promise you, I'll do right this time" "No! You are on probation at this point" Angel Dust pouted, "oh come on Vagina" Vaggie snapped "It's VAGGIE" "Vaggie, it's just a little sex appeal, you gotta play to your audience" Angel Dust laughed, "come on I have the legs, the chest, the gag reflex, and the best ass in Hell, what else would they want" Vaggie instantly interjected "A good role model!" Vaggie shouted "you don't get far without some kind of scandal" Charlie sighed and shook her head, "look Angel Dust, I appreciate you trying to help but I can't just make this better by making it sexy or gross, I just have to try and work harder and make it a place that people can rely on" the three exited the limo "you go on inside my moth, I have to call someone" Charlie said.

Charlie stood outside and called her mom though she was left to voice mail, "hey mom I know I keep calling you but I could use some advice; our commercial blew up in our face and I'm unsure what to do..I feel like a failure....I think..dad was right about me" Charlie sniffled as she went inside and sat up against the door, she felt like she was a failure and was worthless. Vaggie noticed her girlfriend's sorrow and cuddled up to her "it'll be okay we'll think of something. There was three knocks at the door, both Charlie and Vaggie stood up shocked and confused, Charlie with a swing opened the door to reveal a man who was predominantly red.

"Hel-" Charlie quickly closed the door and then opened it again, "-lo" Charlie closed it one more time "Vaggie, the Radio Demon is at the door what should I do?" Angel Dust raised an eyebrow not recognizing the name while Vaggie looked shocked "well don't let him in" Charlie contemplated, what she to do? Let him in and probably die or finally have her first real tenant. Charlie opened the door "may I speak now?" Charlie nodded "you may-" 

"Alastor, pleasure to meet you sweetheart quite a pleasure. Excuse my sudden visit but I saw your fiasco in the picture show and I just couldn't resist, what a performance! Why I haven't been that entertained since the stock market crash of 1929 oh so many orphans...." Alastor walked forward until Vaggie's spear met his chin "stop right there! I know your game and I'm not going to let you hurt anyone here you pompous cheesy talk show shitlord" Alastor smile deepened and moved the spear from his face "dear if I wanted to hurt anyone here...I WOULD HAVE DONE SO ALREADY" the world seemed to glitch around them as Alastor tilted his head, "now I'm here because I want to help with this hotel, I saw your commercial and I saw such entertainment that could fill me for a life time"

Vaggie looked down still not trusting him but having her guard slightly lowered Alastor walked along with Charlie "yes indeedy I see big things coming your way and who better to help you than I?" 

Vaggie sat next to Angel Dust "so uh what's the deal with smiles over there?" Vaggie raised an eyebrow on her working eye "the Radio Demon the most powerful being Hell has ever seen?" Angel Dust shrugged "eh not big on politics" Vaggie huffed before telling her story. "Decades ago Alastor manifested in Hell seemingly over night, he began to topple Overlords who had been dominant for centuries and sinners started calling him the "Radio Demon"..as lazy at that is...many have speculated what unimaginable force allowed him to rival our worlds most destructive evils. One things for certain, he's a wicked spirit and I violent monster who we shouldn't get involved with unless we want to end up erased!" Angel Dust laughed "ya done? Haha, he looks like a strawberry pimp" Vaggie slouched "well I don't trust him."

"To be fair do you trust any man? Men?" Angel Dust laughed as Vaggie groaned and walked to Charlie setting her hands on her shoulders "Charlie Alastor is dangerous" Charlie set her hands on her girlfriends shoulders "relax it'll be okay, how can I turn someone like him away? I can't it goes against what we're trying to do, everything we believe" Vaggie ushered Charlie not to make a deal with Alastor.

"It's okay Vaggie I picked up one thing from my dad "you don't take shit from other demons" okay so Al your sketchy as fuck and clearly see what I'm trying to do as a joke well I don't so I'm taking your offer to help" Alastor stuck his hand out "so it's a deal then?" 

"Nope no shaking no deals as Princess of Hell and heir to the throne I order for you to help with this hotel as long as you desire sound fair?" Alastor fakely stroked his chin "hm fair enough" Alastor then noticed the lack of a staff "so where is your hotel staff?"

Vaggie gave a glare with Alastor laughing "I suppose I can cash in a few favors to lighten things up" Alastor went to the fireplace and summoned a portal and out popped a mini cyclops who wore a red maid outfit, "hi I'm Niffty it's nice to meet you! It's been awhile since I've made new friends..why are you all women? Are there any men here!?" With the snap of his fingers Alastor portaled a bar where a cat demon appeared holding cards "ha! Read 'em and weep boys.." Everyone looked at the cat demon confused then Alastor stepped forward "ah Husker so glad you could make it" "YOU" Husk stepped forward "don't you "Husker" me you son of a bitch I was about to win the whole damn pot!" The money faded away and Alastor laughed.

"You see my friend I was doing some charity work and I require your service, I hope that's okay" Husk looked at ALastor annoyed "are you shitting me!?" Alastor grabbed ahold of Husk and a laugh track played "no I don't think so" Husk stepped away from Alastor "I ain't doing no fucking charity job" Alastor laughed and materialized a bottle of booze "I can make this more enticing if you wish" everyone watched the display "introducing Husk the hotels concierge!" Husk sat behind the bar drinking the booze. Alastor walked towards Charlie "so what other jobs do you think this hotel requires?" Charlie shrugged "I don't know...what about a bellboy?" Alastor laughed "I know just the demon" Alastor went to stairs and snapped his fingers and with a puff of smoke a small angler fish demon appeared "introducing the alchemist now your bellhop" Alastor smiled as the hotel came together "the stage is set now stay tuned." 

Notes:

So for each heavy chapter like this there will be two short chapters that are all fluff so we can have the characters bond.

Chapter 4: Movie Night

Summary:

Charlie insists to bond better the group should watch a Hellsney movie though Alastor decides to not watch

I will update this a lot do to the motivation and personally I think these shorter chapters are much better because it allows me to take a break.

Charlie sat on the couch, she laid down sleeping bags and treated this like it was some high-school sleepover. Everyone got dressed in their pajamas except for Angel Dust who wore a pig themed onesie, "so tell me again why I have to be doing this shit?" Husk complained, "because it's a good way for us to get to know each other!–wait where's Alastor?" Husk let out a low chuckle "Al doesn't like movies unless they're made in the 20s" Charlie pouted "well he is going to sit down and watch this movie with us." 

Charlie knocked on the door of Alastor's room, "Al open up!" No answer.

Charlie sighed and used her demon strength to knock the door down, "what is the meaning of this?" Alastor asked, his voice was filled with static and he had his shadow behind him. Charlie grabbed Alastor and dragged him over to the couch, "I'm not watching some shitty modern movie!" Charlie sat him down between her and Angel Dust, "okay! Fine we'll watch something else how about Bambi?" Alastor's deer ears perk up "what?" Alastor seemed shocked "they made a film of that book?" Charlie and everyone except for Husk, Niffty, and Baxter looked confused then it clicked in them, Alastor died in 33' and there was only black and white films back then. Charlie put on the movie and Alastor seemed to be enjoying the movie.

Then the mom scene happened and Alastor burst into tears.

"Al are you crying?" Charlie questioned, Alastor sniffled "no dear of course not who'd be crying at....hunting malpractice...everyone knows you can't hunt does with the children still around that's just...common sense" Angel Dust was lightly giggling at Alastor, he found it funny the fact that it wasn't about Bambi's mom dying but the fact he was crying over hunting malpractice of all things. 

After the film Alastor left back for his room, "what a mockery it was to watch that. What a mockery it was to think of you" Alastor mumbled. His shadow had a wicked grin as it watched with glee "and I hate the fact I can't see you anymore" he sighed. He laid down in his bed and closed his eyes, "oh if only I could see you again."

Notes:

I think none of what Alastor said was important and will have no importance to the plot what so ever.

Chapter 5: The Hotel Gets a Pool

Summary:

Charlie decides to create a pool at the Hazbin Hotel to try and see if that could convince people to stay though this makes her learn two new things about the people she cares for.

Angel Dust was in his room, he was sitting in front of a vanity, putting on makeup and getting ready to go swimming. "This is gonna be a great day!" He exclaimed as he went to his closet and took out a bright pink swimsuit that had a skirt on it and his signature heart. Angel left his room and went outside to see if anyone else was going swimming with him, "alright who wants to come swimming with me?"

"We don't have a pool Angel" Vaggie stated, Angel Dust did an overdramatic gasp, "what kind of hotel doesn't have a pool?" Angel was confused on why Charlie wouldn't have a pool in her own hotel, "I mean we have the garden but no pool" Niffty replied. Charlie walked into the lobby, "what are you guys talking about?" Charlie asked, "we're talking about the pool" Niffty explained.

"Wait you want a pool? Why didn't you say so!" Charlie snapped her fingers and now wore construction gear, "where did she even get that?" Angel questioned. Charlie went outside and used her demonic power to make a pool, she even had a diving board and a slide, "okay who wants to come swimming first?" Charlie asked, in an instant everyone except for Husk didn't enter the pool.

"What's wrong Husk is the water to cold?" Charlie asked, Husk sighed and muttered "I can't swim" everyone except for Niffty gasped, "how can you not know how to swim? Weren't you in the military?" Vaggie questioned, Husk shrugged, "I was went through the swamps by walking never had to swim before and I was never taught how to." Charlie's eyes widen and she gasped "well then that settles it!" Charlie picked Husk up bridal style and jumped into the pool with him, Husk had his ears down and his tail tucked between his legs.

"Okay so I'll teach you how to swim" Charlie explained, Husk crossed his arms and said, "I'm not fucking swimming, I can just drown." Charlie chuckled "watch me it's easy!" Charlie did a doggy paddle "see you try it" Husk sighed and did a doggy paddle, "I'm floating what the fuck?" Husk questioned. Charlie grinned and swam away, Husk tried to swim and found it wasn't too difficult but it still felt weird to him.

"Ya need some motivation Husk?~" Angel Dust attempted to flirt, "Angel! This isn't a strip club or a porn shoot keep your clothes on!" Vaggie exclaimed, Angel Dust stuck his tongue out at her, "it's called a speedo and I'll wear it if I damn well please!" Vaggie glared, "it's inappropriate, people don't wear speedos outside of sports!" Angel scoffed "you're just jealous cause I look better in this than you" Angel did a pose to prove his point.

"First off I could...I COULD look good in it" Vaggie stuttered, Angel Dust smirked "yeah keep telling yourself that."

Vaggie sighed and turned away going into her room "it's fine your fine Angel was just playing a joke" an eye resembling Angel Dust's floated around her "yeah keep telling yerself dat."

"What's wrong Vaggie are you okay?" Charlie asked, her girlfriend was laying down in her bed, she didn't look upset but more so annoyed "yeah I'm fine" Vaggie answered, "did something happen while I was teaching Husk how to swim?" Charlie asked.

"You want me to be honest or not?" Vaggie asked, Charlie laid down next to her, "of course" Vaggie took a deep breath "I don't like my body" Charlie merely smiled and laid next to her girlfriend "what's there not to like?" Charlie questioned attempting to be flirtatious, "have you looked at me? No tits, hips as wide as can be, I'm hideous" Charlie attempted to suppress a giggle "if that is what you call ugly then you need to get that eye checked."

Vaggie sighed, "I love you."

Chapter 6: Revamption Not Allowed

Summary:

In a drastic attempt to renovate and revamp the hotel Charlie decides to go against the trust of Alastor and visits the Overlord Vox

Notes:

Sorry for the long wait after the leaks I had to take a break but now I welcome you to the second half of my version of season 1.

Charlie sighed as she heard Vaggie shout at Alastor from the lobby, she stretched from her bed and heard Alastor and Vaggie arguing. She went into the main lobby to find Vaggie shouting in Spanish while Alastor was tuning her out, “what is it this time?” She asked groggily “Alastor broke my phone” Charlie’s face dampened then brightened “wait this is a good first lesson, how to apologize! Okay so Al what you’re going to do is say sorry for breaking Vaggie’s phone” Alastor snickered “now why would I do that?”

Charlie frowned, her eyes darkening, Alastor sighed then held his hands together, his grin tight as he apologized to Vaggie who was still fuming. Charlie clapped her hands and smiled at her handiwork, she turned to Vaggie and smiled brightly at her girlfriend who still was grumbling but was less angry.

“He’ll come around eventually..hopefully” just then the TV in the lobby buzzed on and the Overlord of Television appeared on screen “you looking to revamp your business? Show everyone you’re not a loser? Well I have a solution for you, I am Vox the Overlord of Television and me and the rest of the Vees will revamp and renovate your business to your hearts content!” Alastor glared at the television and snapped his fingers, the television screen cracked and shut off. Vaggie sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose, Charlie frowned and turned to Vaggie.

The two lovers went into their room.

Charlie crossed her arms and sat on their bed “maybe we should contact Vox” Charlie said, Vaggie looked at Charlie like she was crazy “babe look all the Overlords are bad and will hurt you, we still don’t know Alastor’s intentions, why bring another Overlord into this mess? He could be a bigger problem than Alastor will ever be, we already have a shit ton on our plate with Angel and Husk and Niffty, let alone Alastor being an asshole, and I know we have been dating for awhile but, Charlie I don't know if I can handle anymore stress and shit in my life, I am worried about you, you need to stop thinking so much about everyone else and more about yourself” Charlie blinked “let’s just meet with him maybe he’ll surprise us” Charlie said quietly, Vaggie groaned.

Vaggie was tired of arguing and didn’t want to start a fight with her girlfriend, Charlie had a way of making you feel bad for fighting with her even when it wasn't her fault. Vaggie had her fair share of dealing with Charlie's over-emotional self and had learned that it was better to not argue and just let her do her thing and hope that everything will go right.

The two went to a building called “VOX INDUSTRIES” 

Charlie and Vaggie both stepped into the building and then were face to face with the TV faced demon, “if it isn’t the Princess of Hell, charmed to make your acquaintance” Vox kissed Charlie’s hand which made her blush, Vaggie cleared her throat and Vox grinned at her, Charlie smiled shyly and rubbed the back of her neck, Vox led the girls to his office not before stepping on a bunch of dolls “don’t step lightly now they’re my daughters” Vox said to the girls, who glanced at each other.

Vox led the two to his office, it was filled with screens and had a desk with a chair and two chairs facing it, Vox motioned for the two girls to sit down and they did, Vox sat behind his desk and leaned back, Charlie smiled and put her hands on her lap, Vaggie glared at Vox who smirked at her, then turned his attention back to Charlie, “so doll what you need from ol’ Voxxy here?” Charlie blushed and smiled at him, Vaggie was fuming.

Charlie cleared her throat, “you see I run a hotel called the Hazbin Hotel and it’s job is to rehabilitate sinners but you see…” Vaggie butted in “our workers don’t listen, the Overlord who said he’d help doesn’t do shit” Vox nodded his head, Vaggie and Charlie were surprised, they thought that he would mock them and say that he wouldn't help, he would be just like every other asshole.

“You know I like the idea but one issue you see Alastor..he’s old news and I can’t invest in a hotel that he is apart of. I want you to fire Alastor and in return I will fund your hotel” Charlie was in shock, she had never imagined that someone would offer her a deal, Vaggie stood up, her eyes glowing, her teeth clenched.

Charlie put her hand on Vaggie and sat her down, Charlie sighed and thought about the deal, she was so close to finally getting the hotel on its feet and she didn’t want to lose out on it but on the other hand she didn't want to fire Alastor he was a great asset, sure he could be bashful but she knew he meant well “give me time to think about it” Charlie said quietly, Vox grinned at her.

Vox then pressed a button and his henchman came out, the girls were escorted out of the building, they walked for a bit then got into a cab and went home.

As soon as the two were back at the hotel, Alastor approached the girls, his smile wide, his eyes glowing red.

“Where were you two dames?” He asked, his voice filled with static, his eyes glowing brighter and his shadow appeared behind him, his eyes glowing and his sharp smile growing wider, he looked more monstrous than usual, Charlie gulped and felt her heart pounding and her palms sweaty, her throat dried up, Vaggie glared at him, she had a look of determination, her mouth was set in a thin line. “Look Alastor we decided to speak with Vox and his deal sounds good for the hotel” Alastor’s eye twitched.

Alastor turned away “you know what fine watch as Vox walks over you princess, he doesn’t do deals he does contracts, while my deals may result in a loss of soul or two they are fair to some extent Vox on the other hand lures you with promises that he knows you can’t resist and controls you” Alastor sounded worried though Vaggie wasn’t buying that Alastor could even feel emotions for other people that didn’t benefit himself. Vaggie and Charlie went back to Vox though unbeknownst to them Alastor followed by transforming into a shadow and replacing Charlie’s. The two women returned to Vox “we will take your offer, Alastor hasn’t helped us and he is a man child” Vaggie stated, Vox snickered “figured as much well here’s the contract and all you have to do is sign on the dotted line” Vox slid a contract to Charlie’s hand. 

With this contract 50% of all profits will go to VOX INDUSTRIES. This deal will cause the immediate ownership of your soul to Vox once signing this you are permitted to anything Vox or the other Vees command, failure to comply will result in termination of soul_____________________.

 

“I’m sorry why would I sign this?” Charlie questioned, Vox’s voice went monotone “because we both get all we want” with the press of a button Vaggie and Charlie were restrained, “your hands are still free so sign the damn thing” Charlie looked around what choice did she have? Charlie signed to where it only said “Charlotte” because as she signed Alastor emerged from her shadow “hello Vox" Alastor got in a battle stance.

Vox let out a mechanical laugh "Alastor it's been a long while since we've seen each other and I can't imagine why you're here" 

Alastor punched Vox on his screen and then removed Charlie and Vaggie from their bonds "your lucky Vox but remember who the stronger one is" Vox laughed as he stood up his screen now broken "like I give a shit you—" Vaggie punched him in the face causing his screen to break more.

Back at the hotel Alastor returned into his room "Coniuro te, magne spiritus. I require more power, Vox can easily swoop in and I don't want that" with no answer Alastor went to bed.

Vox awoke from the massive damage he sustained, "just you wait Alastor right now I hold all the cards" Vox snickers as he holds the half signed contract.

Chapter 7: Warning

These next few chapters mainly the next two will be really dark and deal with stuff such as abuse and rape, if you are uncomfortable reading such you don't have to read it. With that I welcome you to the darkest thing I have wrote.
