Rise of the Power Ghouls

Summary:

Clawdeen Wolf has been enjoying a life of fighting as the heroine Night Wolf, but when she stumbles across Super Unversity, a hideout for the superheroes, she comes across a group of superheroes who have been secretly fighting crime and immediately falls for Deuce, the son of Medusa, and must learn how to manage her powers.
But when a new villain emerges from the shadows connected to the death of Clawdeen’s mother, can the squad work together to stop him before he destroys the whole city?

Chapter 1: Cast

Clawdeen Wolf-
Gender: Female.
Age: 17.
Hero name: Night Wolf.
Personality: Clawdeen is fierce, protective, and loyal.
Certain.. powers take over when the full moon rises. She wants to prove that she has what it takes to be a hero.
Bio: Clawdeen’s powers manifested when she was 13, after her mother died, she gave into her instincts and tore up her whole backyard. Her dad eventually realized she was a superhero and put her through training, which led her to the hero she is today.
Powers:
Enhanced strength.
Super speed.
Sense of smell.
Durability.
Agility.
Night vision.
Weaknesses: Sliver and anger.
Love interest: Deuce Gorgon.

Draculaura:
Gender: Female.
Age: 19.
Hero name: Lady Vamp.
Personality:
Bio-
Draculaura is tough around the edges and closed off, but once you get to know her, she is protective of the people she loves and is tired of the pressure her father is putting on her to be the best hero.
Powers:
Regeneration.
Flight.
Can turn into a bat.
Has to survive by drinking blood.
Weaknesses-
Garlic.
Claustrophobia.
Anxiety

Frankie Stein:
Gender: Non-binary.
Age: 18.
Hero name: Franken- ghoul.
Personality:
Frankie was just created 15 days ago and is non-binary. They’re trying to find their place in the world, which causes them to immediately connect to Clawdeen as she is also new, and tends to blurt out random facts. Bio- Frankie was created by two legendary scientists, who treat Frankie as their actual child and not an experiment, but are very overprotective of her, this is why Frankie is very happy to be at university. Powers- Removable body parts and limbs. Intelligence. Extended lifespan. Can bring people back to life. Weaknesses- Too naive. Loose limbs. Scared no one will like her. Cleo De Nile: Gender: Female. Age: 18. Hero name: The Mummy. Personality: At first glance, Cleo may seem like a spoiled brat, but does have a kind heart once you get to know her. She is one of the highest students at Monster Unversity, and is intimidated when Clawdeen arrives, even more so when she becomes the object of Deuce’s affections. Bio- Cleo is the second born of the De Nile’s, and is often treated better compared to her older sister, Nefera. The two have had a sibling rivalry since Cleo became a superhero, which only increased Nefera’s jealously. Power: Enhanced lifespan. Extended durability. Can talk and control scarabs. Weaknesses- Being compared to her sister. Lagoona Blue: Gender: Female. Age: 17. Hero name: Agua Girl. Personality: Lagoona is cheerful and bubbly, and loves a good telenova. She often has to rein in her best friend Cleo when she goes too far, but they have a good friendship. Additionally, she has a budding romance with Gil Webber. Boys- Heath Burns- Gender: Male. Age: 18. Hero name: Fire Boy. Personality: Heath has a charming personality and doesn’t hesitate to flirt with the ghouls, especially Abby. Abby does have a crush on him too, but doesn’t approve of his flirting ways. But like any other super, he wants to protect the city and is there for anyone when they need him, and is best friends with Deuce and Gil. Gillington ‘ Gil’ Webber- Gender: Male. Age: 15. Hero name: Aqua Boy. Personality: Gil is a cool dude, and has the surfer boy stereotype, as he can be seen in the training pool when there are no missions, or relaxing with a comic book. But he loves being a superhero, and has a budding romance with Lagoona. Bio- Gil first discovered his powers when he accidentally made a pipe burst in his bedroom, and his parents immediately enrolled him in Monster University, and haven’t spoken to him since. This saddens him, and hopes one day they can reconnect. Powers: Water powers. Telekinesis. Elastic. Deuce Gorgon- Gender: Male. Age: 18. Hero name: Viper. Personality: Deuce lives up to the cool and laidback kid stereotype at Monster University, and often has to hide his snakes under a hat so they don’t bite people, and is the big monster on campus. He immediately takes an interest in Clawdeen, and is one of the few supes who are nice to her, and feels like he can open up to her. Additionally, he is best friends with Heath and Gil, and has a pet rat named Perseus. Bio- Deuce discovered his powers when he accidentally turned his whole backyard into stone, and was immediately enrolled into Monster University. He is the son of Medusa, and has a younger cousin named Viperine. Additionally, his father is an antihero, and is unaware of his son’s secret identity. Powers: Petrification. Enhanced durability. Enhanced strength. Can climb high things. Weaknesses- Anti venom. Wraith sliver. Admin- Headmistress Bloodgood: Gender: Female. Age: 46. Job: Headmistress of Monster University. Personality: Bloodgood is the tough but fair headmistress of Monster University, and expects her students to live up to their standards.

Chapter 2: Chapter 1

Summary:

After a tough mission, Apollo makes a decision about Clawdeen.

She let the villain get away. She let the villain get away. All her training and he was gone. “ Baby cub?’ Apollo asked, as he gently knocked on her door. “ What?’ Clawdeen sniffled, as she gently petted her cat. “ Are you okay? You barely touched your food?’ Apollo asked. “ I let him get away, Dad. I let him get away! He took Mom away from me and he’s still-‘ Clawdeen began, as she stood up.
“ I know, I know’ Apollo sighed, as he stared at the ceiling for a minute. “ Dad? What’s wrong?’ Clawdeen asked. “ Baby cub, I’ve been thinking..’ Apollo began. “ About what? I can’t give up being a superhero, Dad. I have to get justice for-‘ Clawdeen began. “ I know, I know. But, there might be a way you can do that, and still be a normal teenager’ Apollo answered. “ How?’ Clawdeen asked. “ You know that school your mom went to?’ Apollo asked. “ Monster University?’ Clawdeen asked. “ I want you to be safe, baby cub. But most importantly, I want you to have a chance to be a normal teenager’ Apollo soflty answered. “ Thanks, Dad’ Clawdeen grinned, as she tightly hugged him. “ Of course, baby cub’ Apollo grinned.

Chapter 3: Chapter 3

" Hey, did anyone else get that email from Bloodgood about a new student?' Deuce asked, taking a granola bar of the fridge. " Yeah, and it's a ghoul, so obiviously she'll-' Heath began. " Hey, Deuce. And your hair will scare her, Heath' Cleo greeted, as she flirtatiously stared att he gorgon. " Then I'll charm her with my good looks' Heath grinned. " What's up, Cleo? Are you using the gym for training again?' Deuce asked. " No, just eanted to tell you I'm officially over our breakup. Faboolous, actually. I have a long list of interested creatures, just waiting to fate me' Cleo grinned. " It's good to see that you've moved on, Cleo, and that you're still the same obsessively self- involved hero I broke up with' Deuce answered, as he walked off. " He totally wants you back' Lagoona whispered.
" Dad, are you sure this is a good idea? What if my wolf instincts come out?' Clawdeen asked.
" You can control them, sweetheart. Trust me, this'll be good for you' Apollo assured. " But what about you, Dad?' Clawdeen asked. " Don't worry about me, baby cub. Go live your life' Apollo grinned. " I love you, Dad' Clawdeen sniffled, as she tightly hugged. " I love you too, baby cub' Apollo murmured, as someone cleared their throat. " Apollo, so good to see you again. And this must be Clawdeen. I'm Headmistress Bloodgood, welcome to Monster University' Bloodgood greeted. " Thank you. So, are there are other supes here?' Clawdeen asked. " Yes, there are, and two of them will show you around. Abby, Lagoona!' Bloodgood called, as two ghouls suddenly appeared in front of them. " Hi! I'm Abby, and this is Lagoona. You must be Clawdeen, nice to meet you' Abby greeted. " Nice to meet you guys too' Clawdeen grinned, as they shook hands. " Do you like telenovelas?' Lagoona asked. " Uh.. yes?' Clawdeen answered, confused. " Great, then we can watch one together!' Lagoona cried, as they rode up the elevator. " Word of advice, if Heath Burns tries to flirt with you, ignore. He is show- off' Abby warned. " Good to know' Clawdeen muttered, as the elevator stopped and she gasped. This was more then a university. " Abby, where's the fire- Oh' Deuce began, as he stopped when he noticed the she- wolf and blushed. " Clawdeen, this is Deuce. Deuce, this is our new student' Abby greeted. " Hi' Deuce grinned, dreamily. " Hi' Clawdeen dreamily answered, as a small squeak came from his pocket. " What was that?' Clawdeen asked. " Oh! This is my uh, pet rat, Perseus. He's friendly, if you give him cheese' Deuce laughed. " He's cute. Hi, little guy' Clawdeen cooed, as she gently petted his fur, unaware a certain supe was watching from the hall. " The new girl better watch out before she gets any closer to Deuce' Cleo muttered.

Chapter 4: Chapter 4

Summary:

As Clawdeen meets her roommates for the first time, Deuce confides in Heath.

As Clawdeen entered her dorm, her eyes widened in amazement. She could get used to this. " Wow, this is for me?' Clawdeen murmured. " I know, right? The university totally customized our rooms for us. I'm Frankie, pronouns they/them. I'm only 15 days old, and a superhero' Frankie greeted. " Clawdeen, she/her. Nice to meet you' Clawdeen grinned. " My full name is Frankie Stein. I was just created by my parents, but not in the way others are created by their parents. I was actually made in a lab using some of the world's most impressive historical figures as parts. Did you know that werewolf comes from the old English ' werewulf', although many believe the original one is the Norse which is ' varùlfur', which is hard to say. It means one in wolf's skin' Frankie explained. " I did not know any of that' Clawdeen laughed.
" I didn't know I knew any of that. I've got a bunch of famous brain parts in my head, like Plato, Marie Curie, some lady named Liz who apparently invented the internet but didn't get any credit. I guess I've got all the knowledge- Oh, sorry, loose joints' Frankie murmured. " So, is it just us creeps in here?' Clawdeen asked. " I don't think so, because there's also that' Frankie answered, as they pointed to a closed coffin. " How can you tell if they're home?' Clawdeen asked. " Maybe we knock?' Frankie asked. " Never knock on a closed coffin' Draculaura answered, firmly. " Hi, I'm Clawdeen, and this is Frankie. And we are your new-' Clawdeen began. " Roommates. Welcome, I'm Draculaura. Is this your first time sharing a dorm room?' Draculaura asked, as they nodded in agreement. " Okay, cool. Let's talk ground rules. And don't take this the wrong way, I'm just a very private person. That side of the room is yours, this side is mine. Got it?' Draculaura asked. " Yeah' Clawdeen murmured. " Do you think of this as like a house or a bed?' Frankie asked. " Okay, out. My side, remember?' Draculaura answered, as the coffin closed after a few mins, and the werewolf began unpacking her things, as she stared at a picture of her parents. " I'm gonna get justice for you, Mom. I promise' Clawdeen muttered.
" So, the new girl's here?' Heath asked. " Mm- hmm. And you've already been warned to stay away from her' Deuce laughed. " I can still charm her, bro' Heath laughed. " No, you can't. She's already got her heart set on me' Deuce laughed. " Haha, but what about a certain princess?' Heath teased " Cleo and I aren't together anymore, I don't really care what she thinks' Deuce retorted. " True, but happy for you, bro' Heath murmured.

Chapter 5: Chapter 5

Summary:

As Clawdeen adjusts to her new surroundigns and starts researching the villain, Deuce tries to befriend her.

" Oh, hi, Clawdeen!' Frankie greeted. " Oh, hey, Frankie. You seem energetic this morning' Clawdeen murmured, as she was looking at the list of the villains. " Energetic- Means showing energy in something and great activity- Ooh, what are you looking at?' Frankie asked. " Uh, nothing! Are you liking school so far?' Clawdeen asked. " I am. I've never seen it in movies. Also, what's a movie?' Frankie asked. " Hello, ladies. Name's Heath, Heath Burns. See anything you like?' Heath greeted, in a flirtatious tone. " Abbey warned us about y- Do you smell something burning?' Clawdeen asked. “ Dang it’ Heath muttered, as he ran off. “ You must be the new girl, Clawdeen. You know who I am, right?’ Cleo asked. “ Yes, everyone knows who you are, you’re Cleo De Nile, you probably funded this school’ Clawdeen scoffed. “ Whatever. And, stay away from Deuce, got it?’ Cleo hissed. “ Cleo-‘ Lagoona began, as she stepped in between them. “ Oh, I wasn’t aware you two were a thing’ Clawdeen murmured, slightly disappointed. She genuinely liked Deuce. “ We’re not. Cleo, leave her alone’ Deuce intervened. “ Come on, you don’t want to get in trouble’ Lagoona chimed in, as she dragged her away. “ Sorry’ Lagoona mouthed. “ So, you dated her?’ Clawdeen asked. “ Uh, yes. B- But I’m trying not to be w- who I was anymore, if that makes any sense’ Deuce grinned. “ Weirdly, it does’ Clawdeen grinned. “ Anysnake, I was about to head to the creepateria. Want to come with me?’ Deuce suggested. “ Uh, sure’ Clawdeen grinned, as they both walked off.
