Bloodshed caused by hope;
Hope of freedom,
Hope of joy,
Hope of self,
Never wish of blood,
Blood leaked and poured;
From the insolence of the elders,
Foolishness of our gods,
Ignorance of our protectors,
Selfishness that will rebound,
The effect of asininity;
Saught by the witless,
Bestowed to the young,
Bound to the spectator,
Sown to the ones who fought,
Death fallen upon us,
Did he ever hear our prayers?
Dull eyes caused by the blind,
Drowned in the shame of theirs,
Why have though done such harm?
