Feel The Bite Between My Jaw (So Tasty)

Summary:

Sunoo is dealing with way too many strange problems in his life. Ranging from his used underwear missing, to a cheap spy camera falling out of his dresser as he was preparing for school, he even noticed his toothbrush is starting to smell and taste weird.

Good thing he found the best and most reliable roommate in the world, Nishimura Riki.

놀자, 같이

You make me so thirsty

Sunoo huffs, tossing the remaining clothes to the washer. What should've been an uneventful day of him doing laundry turned grim quickly. Two of his underwear is missing- again. They weren't even expensive or those high-end ones, they're just a pair of white cotton panties. This has been happening to him for the past month, and he's getting more frustrated.

Leaving his dorm has crossed his mind multiple times, and he would if it weren't for how cheap this place is. It is also the most decent dorm near his uni, and spending more for rent and deposit is not in the picture right now either, it's the middle of the semester and he still hasn't found a new part time job.

He's been having these weird experiences in which he never really paid attention to before, all after he moved schools. He's been losing couple of his things. At first, they're just random and mundane things he doesn't really mind losing. However, in just a couple of weeks, things escalated from missing hair ties to his own underwear. He even thought he was just being careless, he probably just left them somewhere. But this time, he's sure someone is deliberately going inside his dorm and taking his stuff. For what god forsaken reason, he doesn't want to know. Thinking about it sends chills up to his spine. He doesn't really feel safe here anymore.

Groaning, he dialed his landlord's number. He's been bugging him, but he doesn't seem to take Sunoo seriously. The ringing stopped as soon as it began, his landlord has rejected his call again for the nth time.

"God this man is so insufferable!" Sunoo yelled out his frustration, deciding to leave his dorm for the mean time to grab something to eat. Staying at his place is slowly eating his sanity and his energy.

It was 2 in the afternoon, all of his classes done for the day. He initially planned to relax at his dorm and catch up on his favorite k-dramas, but all of his plans were ruined due to the fiasco earlier. He entered the nearest convenience store, grabbing his go-to instant ramen cup and a can of Milkis. He sees an empty table at the corner of the store and settled down. Placing his drink and a bunch of other snacks he grabbed along the way; he made a bee line to the hot water dispenser for his ramen.

Just as he was almost finished filling his cup with hot water, he felt a presence behind him. He turned around, nerves still buzzing from his discoveries earlier.

"Uhm, hi. You're Kim Sunoo right?" The stranger, clad in a thick black hoodie with a baseball hat over his head asked. His face is hidden due to the shadow of the hat, but Sunoo can tell he's really pale and got good skin. He looked at the taller stranger warily, "Y-yes? How can I help you?"

The stranger took of his hat, and Sunoo has to force himself not to gasp at the now visible face of the strange man. He looked like he was younger than him despite his tall and lean build, moles adorn his face, and Sunoo can't believe how this man seemed to rival him in the lips department despite him being a self-proclaimed skincare pro, his lip balm being his best friend. The man looked incredibly gorgeous without even trying and Sunoo thinks it's kind of unfair.

"I'm Nishimura Riki, you live at the dorm just few blocks away, right?" Sunoo furrowed his brows, borderline feeling weirded out with how much knowledge this stranger- now Riki knows about him. He's rapidly debating inside his head whether to answer the man's question or not, considering his current situation at his dorm.

Riki, seemingly sensing his worries immediately added, "Sorry if that weirded you out. Our landlord sent me your details, something about getting to know my new roommate. Didn't mean to scare you, really." He scratched the back of his head, seemingly embarrassed by his actions. Sunoo was taken aback, the latter's words ringing in his ears.

"Sorry, our landlord did what?"

"Uh, he sent me your info, along with your picture. Here, you can look at our convo."

And just as what the other man said, his insufferable landlord really did give out his details without his permission. He rolled his eyes as he read the conversation on Riki's phone. No wonder anyone could come in his room, that man doesn't give a shit about his privacy at all.

He massaged his temples, overwhelmed by the new information. "Phew, okay Riki. Nice to meet you. I'm sorry, I was just surprised. That old man didn't notify me at all, totally not giving a fuck about my privacy whatsoever." He mumbled the last bit to himself, still annoyed.

Riki chuckled as he still heard it, oddly entertained while Sunoo on the other hand is losing his mind. He jokingly gave a sharp side eye to the other, making Riki press his lips together, playfully feigning innocence as he shook his head as if to say, "I'm not laughing".

"Well, he seems fun at least...." Sunoo thought, his soggy cup of ramen completely forgotten.

His new roommate is actually pretty cool, Sunoo admits. He found out he's a freshman at his uni, taking Computer Engineering. And that his nickname is actually Ni-ki but he "-don't really mind what you wanna call me, hyung." as he would say. He's also from Japan and only moved to Korea due to familial issues, in which he didn't pry anymore as it seems like a sensitive issue for the younger.

"Hyung, I cooked us some breakfast. I'm not sure how you like your eggs but..." Ni-ki knocked against the door of Sunoo's room before opening it slightly, his head poking in as he called out the older.

Sunoo stretched, looking at his phone to check the time before getting out of his bed. He smiles at the younger, grateful for his ever so hardworking roommate. His life really got easier the moment he started living with Ni-ki. He now has someone to share chores with, and the younger is a really good cook- despite being chaotically experimental sometimes. Really, who microwaves their strawberries?

"This is exactly how I like my eggs! You're a genius Riki." Sunoo exclaims as he walked to the small dining table of their dorm. Riki grins, a bit too smug for Sunoo's liking.

"Don't mention it hyung, I know I am." Sunoo rolled his eyes playfully, taking a seat beside the younger. The two of them began eating their breakfast, conversation easily flowing. It feels like Sunoo has known Ni-ki for years, despite only meeting a week and a half ago. He has taken care of Sunoo more than any friend of Sunoo has, and he can only reciprocate by bringing Riki few snacks from the convenience store they first met after his classes. Ni-ki seems happy with it and so is he.

They parted ways after having breakfast, having different classes in different buildings. Sunoo sent a little "Take care!" text to Riki, something that has become a habit for him. The younger immediately replied with a "You too, Sunshine. :)"  Sunoo shakes his head, an embarrassed grin on his face. The younger has taken a liking in calling him Sunshine, something about him having a nickname and Sunoo having none. The older thinks it's stupid but let Riki, it's kind of endearing anyways.

Just as he was about to enter his building, a familiar figure enters his vision.

"Hey Sun, what's up?", Heeseung greets, a handsome smile present on his face as per usual. Sunoo averted his gaze a bit before responding, nervous with the sudden attention.

"Hello Lee Heeseung, what do you need?" The man chuckles with the formality, still finding it adorable how Sunoo would get all clammy around him. "Full government name, really? As if we weren't-" Sunoo immediately covers Heeseung's mouth, glaring at the older. "Are you crazy?", he whispers shouts, panic all over his face. He could feel the latter's cheeks raising, his smile not visible under Sunoo's palm but he doesn't have to see it to know how annoyingly handsome it is. Heeseung really has a way at getting at his nerves, always using their drunk-one night stand rendezvous at any chance he could get. Sunoo thinks it's blackmailing at this point.

He slowly removes his hand, now getting conscious at their close proximity. The shit eating grin still present on Heeseung's face, and Sunoo doesn't even hide how he rolls his eyes at him.

"Why are you embarrassed? You were clearly into it too, wanna do it again sometime?" The taller bends down, whispering directly on his ear. "Your place?" He adds. Sunoo immediately pushes him away, huffing in annoyance. "No, besides I have a roommate now." Heeseung visibly quips at that, "So suddenly? I thought you don't like the idea of having one?"

Sunoo shrugs, "It wasn't my choice, and it's a long story. He's chill though, really easy to live with." The older raises a brow, entertained by the sudden fondness in Sunoo's voice. His face became unreadable, and he just looked at Sunoo with an indescribable expression, not uttering any more words. "Bye Hee." Sunoo breaks the sudden awkwardness in the air, making his way to his class, Heeseung's expression still lingering in his mind.

Feel the bite between my jaw

So tasty

Sunoo feels like all of his problems magically disappeared the moment Riki appeared in his life. His stuff no longer went missing and he no longer feels uneasy at his own dorm. In fact, it became so much livelier and cozy due to the natural warmth the younger has. Sunoo is introverted and keeps to himself most of the times, whereas Riki is more of a playful and energetic person despite being shy at times too. They match each other so well that living together is just seamless.

Or Sunoo thought it was.

"AHHH!"

Sunoo shrieked, falling on his butt. He immediately scoots away from his drawer, as if burned by it. A cheap and poorly disguised spy camera fell from his folded clothes. It was so carelessly hidden too, and Sunoo was sure it was just recently placed. He would've spotted it anytime soon, as it was just hidden on the first few layers of his sweaters, as if deliberately placed for him to see.

"Sunshine? What happened?"

Ni-ki immediately hurries towards the older, hearing his scream from the kitchen.

"God, the- m-my stalker! He-" Sunoo stammers, still shaken from what he saw. He was visibly shaking, cold sweat dropping from his forehead as he fails to control his breathing, he could feel himself having an anxiety attack.

"Okay, I need you to breathe in slowly. There you go, now breathe out. Very good, hyung. One more..." Ni-ki sits down at Sunoo's eye level as he instructed the older, calming down his jagged breathing.

Sunoo's pupils were dilated and unfocused, but his breathing is becoming more stable. The younger cups his cheeks with his warm and large hands, maintaining eye contact as he guides the older into breathing in and out. Sunoo would've leaned into his touch if it weren't  for his brain going haywire with everything he's feeling.

"Feeling better?" Riki asks, voice warm and comforting- as usual. Sunoo silently nods, blinking the tears that formed in his eyes from his panic attack.

"Can you tell me now what happened?", the younger inquires. Sunoo could feel his heartbeat rising again as he was reminded once again, Riki notices and immediately shushes him. Wrapping him into a hug as he gently rubs his back.

"No, no i'm sorry, i'm sorry. Let's talk about it later." He gently guides the older into standing, still hugging him. Sunoo wraps his arms around Riki, terrified of letting go. He's scared to see the stupid camera at the floor, still blinking red as if still recording. He just wants to drown in the taller's warmth, bask in it until he's safe.

"Better?" Riki hands him a warm cup of chocolate as he settled down at the couch, feeling much better.

He smiles tiredly at the younger, appreciating how he's so caring and kind to him despite them just being roommates. Oh what would he do without Riki.

"Thank you Riki, I know I don't say it much but I really appreciate you being here with me," Sunoo takes a sip of his hot chocolate, looking down at his feet as he feels his cheeks and ears flush from the confession. He's not one to be outspoken about how he feels but today is an exception.

He looks up and sees a wide grin from the younger, still boyish and teasing as ever. It made Sunoo smile too, temporarily forgetting his problems.

"Awww, is little Sunshine being shyyy?" Riki teases, in which Sunoo inevitably rolled his eyes, "Forget I ever said anything." Riki laughs.

"Okay sooo... what happened back there?" Riki asks, whispering quietly as if scared someone might hear.

"My stalker... or I don't know... someone was probably playing a prank on me, but it has been months since it started. It wasn't this bad before but today, there was a camera on my closet."

Riki raises an eyebrow at that, "A fucking what?" Sunoo grips his cup tighter, a bit taken aback by Riki's sudden anger.

"A camera, I-I don't know. I have no idea how it got there... I was- I was so sure it would stop now that I have you here with me but-"

Riki immediately stood up, trudging towards his room. He came back soon enough, holding the offending gadget on his hand. He held it up, inspecting the camera. Then to Sunoo's surprise, slammed it on the floor and stepped on it multiple times- completely disintegrating it.

Sunoo was dumbfounded, not knowing how to react.

"Wh- why did you do that?"

Ni-ki looks up at him, some of his hair falling in front of his eyes. Sunoo almost jumped as he saw the sudden darkness in the younger's eyes, his emotions unreadable.

"Why? Wanna give that motherfucker more clips?" Sunoo gasped, taken aback by Ni-ki's bluntness. "What? No I was just-" Riki once again cut him off, now sitting beside him and pulling him into a hug.

His sudden change in attitude gave Sunoo a whiplash. He thought he knew all sides to the younger from the months of living together but this was new to him. He never cussed in front of him nor was ever rude to him. Something akin to uneasiness grew in Sunoo's chest.

"So so sorry hyung. I was just really furious someone did that to you..." The younger whispered to his ears, still hugging him tightly. Hesitantly, the older wrapped his arms around Ni-ki as well, albeit not as tight as the younger's.

"I will catch whoever that man is. Don't worry hyung, you're safe here with me. I won't let anyone touch you." Riki muttered, voice laced with conviction. Sunoo wondered how Riki seems so sure that it was a man, but he brushed off that thought as it seems impossible for a girl to go to such lengths anyways.

Riki removed a hand and started playing with Sunoo's hair, the other still wrapped around the shorter's waist. Sunoo could feel the butterflies in his stomach from the sudden gesture. Riki has been his anchor for the past months, and he's grateful someone cares about him this much.

"Thank you Riki, I don't know what I would do without you..." He mutters honestly, burying his head into Riki's chest. "I could get used to this...", he thinks.

The warmth is back, the comfort, the safety, the peace. And it was in the form of Nishimura Riki.

Chapter Text

아무 감흥도 없어 feel nothing
뜨거워질 수록 더 feel nothing
사실 이 순간도 feel no tasty

The first time Sunoo saw Heeseung, he immediately knew that the man is devil incarnate. He has this commanding aura that makes everyone around him follow him obediently without them even knowing, Heeseung probably knows it and uses it to his advantage. The man is intimidating- tall, broad but lean, with dark hair that matches his equally dark eyes. His lips always curved in a sly grin that seems to never reach his eyes. He's breathtakingly handsome, Sunoo admits. Even he has to distance himself from the man to avoid falling for his trap. One that Heeseung personally crafted for him.

Sunoo thinks that what makes him even more attractive. He masks his intentions so well.

He loves the game, loves how Heeseung plays along with his silly little game of tug of war. He would tease the older, only to back out when he gets too close to his liking. As flirty as Sunoo can be, he doesn't really want to commit to anyone- especially not the infamous casanova of their campus, Lee Heeseung. Cause he's the devil incarnate, and Sunoo sees through him. And Heeseung likes that Sunoo sees through him, enjoying the fact that someone could finally see behind his front. He could only pretend to be nice for so long anyways.

The first time Heeseung saw Sunoo, he knew he was different. And maybe that was what drawn him into the younger. He's got the brightest smile he has ever seen, the prettiest too. The simplest compliments could make his cheeks flush adorably, feigning nonchalance as Sunoo rolls his eyes like usual. He has this odd combination of innocence and confidence that Heeseung wants to uncover, to know more. His friends would often tease him, seeing how he would unabashedly watch the younger from a distance- like a hunter to its prey. He would just shrug and chuckle, not giving away any denial nor confirmation, always playing safe.

They would often run into each other, as they are on the same program, just different years with Heeseung being 2 years older, much to Sunoo's annoyance and to Heeseung's joy. Seeing Sunoo daily is like a part of his schedule, one that he cannot miss. He hasn't been this interested to anyone in years, contrary to everyone's beliefs. He sleeps around a lot sure, but they were all just a way to kill time, to distract himself from whichever party he attended that moment- it was never serious for him. Until he got a taste of the nectar he's been craving and waiting for almost half a year.

"You like that baby? Yeah?"

Heeseung grips Sunoo's hips tightly, his chest meeting the younger's back as he increased the pace of his thrusts. He licks a fat stripe at Sunoo's neck, salty with his sweat and tears. He could smell the strawberry perfume the younger had put on earlier, although now subtle. He could just eat him up like this.

"Fuck, yes right there- Heeseung please-"

His hand reaches out to the younger's clit, swollen and red from being played numerous times. Sunoo lets out a sob from oversensitivity, but Heeseung just takes and takes and takes what he wants. He circles his finger around the sensitive bud, timing it with his thrusts. Sunoo could only sob and moan, nearing another climax again. He feels the older suck and bite the skin of his neck, and that brought him to reach his high. He shakes throughout his climax, arms completely given out and his face planted on the bed. Heeseung's still thrusting with no remorse whatsoever, each movement of his hips only to serve one purpose- to breed the fuck out of Sunoo.

The loud sound of rave music is still penetrating the room they're currently in, loud bass making the walls and floors vibrate but Heeseung could not care less. He's been waiting for this for so fucking long and he finally got Sunoo where he deserves to be- under him, on all fours, bangs wet from his sweat and Heeseung's cum, pussy dripping and squelching with each hard thrust Heeseung gives him. They could play Ed Sheeran and he wouldn't bat an eye. Sunoo's moans and whimpers of "-pleasepleasepleaseplease," are more than enough music to Heeseung's ears.

Heeseung thinks that what makes Sunoo a cut above the rest. He is an enigma, an out of life experience.

He is more than just a pretty face, his body is as addicting as his smile, and if he could just tie him up to use all day, Heeseung would undoubtedly would.

After that drunken one-night stand (he wasn't drunk at all nor tipsy), Heeseung barely saw the younger again. He knows the younger would be embarrassed about it, would probably avoid looking at his eyes, but to completely avoid him like a plague? Heeseung was slightly offended. He knows he's good in bed, knows how much the younger also enjoyed that night considering how much the younger came and how much he has to clean up (with his tongue, of course). He didn't let it get to him though, at least not from the outside.

Sunoo's probably just a little shy, right?

And so Heeseung would make quick trips to the younger's classroom every now and then, accidentally of course. He just has a friend who is coincidentally Sunoo's block mate and is 2 years younger that he really needs to visit. He would scan the room and if he sees Sunoo's not around, he will dismiss the poor guy with a simple "Uh, never mind I forgot what I needed."

The classroom trips were ineffective, not like Heeseung was purposely searching for Sunoo anyways. So, he changed his routine after class and started walking down the opposite street of his house, to get something to eat at the convenience store right in front of Sunoo's dorm- coincidentally, of course. And no, he didn't have to stalk Sunoo's best friend, Jungwon, to find out where the younger lives. He just happened to see Jungwon's post that his good ole friend Jay had liked. How crazy is that, right?

Heeseung could feel himself breaking. Sunoo is so addictive, and he's having withdrawals. He needs to see him soon, missing the strawberry scented boy more than he would admit.

Then he remembered something, a crucial thing that just flew right above his head while talking to the younger during the party, completely hypnotized by the way Sunoo's lips shine against the dim lights.

"Dorm, huh? That's neat, really convenient too cause you could just walk 5 mins before the classes start." Heeseung takes a sip of his drink, eyes never leaving the personification of an angel in front of him.

"Yeah, it is. Plus, I have no room mates, so more freedom I guess?" Sunoo giggles, visibly tipsy from the way his cheeks were flushed a deep shade of pink. Heeseung chuckles, just speechless with how effortlessly gorgeous Sunoo is. He's got to have him tonight, so this curiosity of his dies down (spoiler alert, it got worse).

Heeseung chuckled at himself, both from the adorable memory of the younger and his stupidity. He takes a few items from the shelves of the convenience store, and as he pay at the counter, he dialed a familiar number.

"Hey Ni-ki, how are things going?"

Chapter Text

다시 한 번, sip, sip, sip

느껴봐 너의 lip, lip, lips

아침이면 사라질

It's my love, daydream, dream, dream

Ni-ki threw the butt of the cigarette on the pavement as he blew out the smoke from his last hit. He stood up, digging his heel on the cigarette. He looked around, the streets a complete 180 compared to the hectic and noisy day. The only people left are on the opposite side of the road- inside the convenience store, and soon enough they will all be going home as well. He glances at his smart watch, 2:46 AM. He hums to himself in contentment as he made his way inside the dorm building.

He adjusted his black cap and his face mask, although not really necessary, he just likes to be prepared. A single mistake is not allowed when he does his job- not when it could potentially ruin his schedule for the night. He subtly looks up, eyes observing the CCTV cameras on the lobby. He grins inwardly, not out of malice but out of absurdity. Not a single one of the cameras are working, and he almost laughed, "This is way too easy, hyung."

It didn't take long before he's standing on the room of his unsuspecting victim. Apparently his name was Kim Sunoo, living on the 2nd floor of the building. He's not the type to know anything about the target of his job, unless necessary for his work. Heeseung paid him quite a nice sum, and he didn't really want to disappoint a regular customer. This is definitely the first time he asked about something of this sort which intrigued him, but Ni-ki's not complaining. The thrill is enough to make him do it, and his curiosity needs to be satiated. Just who is this person that his hyung has to resort to contacting him?

He took out the wire from his pocket, inserting it on the keyhole of the doorknob. He twisted for a few seconds then he heard a click. He twisted the doorknob, gently opening the door with ease.

"What kind of building has no double locks?", he thought to himself, finding the situation of the dorm silly. The owner of this building definitely has no common sense, much to Ni-ki's convenience.

He slowly walked in, steps light and careful as he assessed the entirety of the room. It's quite spacious, definitely meant for 2 people to live in. It was neat and tidy, obviously well maintained. Although it was dark, he could make out the light-colored furniture and the picture frames that were hung on the tiny living room. It was well decorated, cozy if you may.

But Ni-ki's not there to rate the overall appearance of the room, he's got a job to do.

"Hey Ni-ki, how are things going?"

Ni-ki raised a brow as he answered Heeseung's call. It's been a while since his hyung has contacted him, the last time was after he asked for some party drugs, as Ni-ki was his personal plug.

"Hey hyung, what's up?", He situates his phone on his shoulder and his cheek, sandwiching it as he continued playing on his computer. "Need some molly again?" He hears the older laugh from the other line.

"Ah no I don't need those anymore. I found something much better," He could hear the grin from his voice, the double meaning piquing his curiosity. "Mm, you found another plug huh?"

Heeseung laughs out loudly for real this time, "No way bro. You know I only get my stuff from you since forever. I... have a little job I want you to do. You in?"

Ni-ki stares blankly at his screen, the graphics gray as he's dead already for the round. He decided to finally focus on what Heeseung has to say. He picks up his phone and holds it next to his ear properly.

"What kind of job? You know I only sell drugs as a side hustle, right?" Heeseung hums, knowing that the younger really only sells drugs for fun. He doesn't even use them nor does he need to work illegally to get by- he just wants his own money as a student.

"Yeah, I know that. This one's really easy though. Just want you to... scare someone for me." He furrows his brows, is he asking him to kill someone?

"Hit and run type of scare or ghost shit type of scare? C'mon hyung, you gotta be specific." He hears Heeseung laugh again.

"No, no. Just stalking type of scare. You catchin' my drift?" Ni-ki sits up straight from lounging, he hums to the older, encouraging him to tell him more about this little job he wants to get done.

There weren't any clear instructions given to him by Heeseung. All that he's said was that he wants to frighten Kim Sunoo a bit because he was being difficult. Ni-ki didn't ask what his motive was or what he's planning after he scares the poor guy; guess he could just ask him after he's done with his job. It's pretty evident though that whoever this person is, is someone special to his hyung. He knows how fucked up that guy is, and how he would resort to the most unconventional ways to get what he wants. Heeseung might not even know it, but this Sunoo definitely impacted him so much and he couldn't process it well enough, so much so that he could only resort to one thing Heeseung's familiar with- fear and manipulation.

Focusing on his task at hand, he slowly made his way inside one of the two rooms. He noticed that the other one was empty and was mainly used as a storage room, signifying that the other door is where Sunoo is currently sleeping. He straightened the wire he used earlier, just in case the door was locked and he has to pick on the keyhole again. He slowly twisted the doorknob as to not make any noise, checking if it is locked, and much to his happiness, it is conveniently unlocked.

Then the real thing begins.

This was the first time of him doing something like this, and he's quite unsure what would trigger fear the most for someone so independent, someone so used to live alone.

Ah, the thought of someone being inside his room maybe?

Ni-ki chuckles, realizing how absurd this whole thing is, but still wanting to get it over with already with effective results. He's a perfectionist after all.

He finally sees the infamous Kim Sunoo, sleeping soundly without any idea that a man is inside his room. Even with just the moonlight, he could tell that the man is beautiful. He looked so serene sleeping, his bangs forming a little halo on his head. He's wearing what looks to be a pair of white silk pajamas, which made him look even more like an angel.

He slowly approached him, careful as to not make any sound- not because he's afraid to be caught but because the thought of waking Sunoo up without his permission feels like a crime. Seeing him up close, Ni-ki finally understood Heeseung. They may not be as different as he thought.

The primal urge to own someone has never come across Ni-ki's mind. He's not the possessive type, not even into relationships compared to his peers. He's content with just playing with his friends, partying, and just letting loose. He sees relationships as shackles that would hinder his day-to-day life. He loves his freedom way too much to give it up anytime soon.

Well maybe not until now.

He pokes his tongue at the inside of his cheek, his mind racing with thoughts of him slightly altering his plans. Heeseung didn't specify the terms of this job now, did he? If he were to involve himself with this guy, would his hyung get mad? If he put it under the guise of scaring him, it would be okay, right?

He stares at the sleeping beauty once again, new motive now fully formed from just few minutes of spending time with a sleeping and unaware Kim Sunoo. He looked so adorable he almost felt bad for him. Almost

He finally moves away, picking up few items off of Sunoo's bedside table. Just little things that Sunoo wouldn't feel bad for losing, although he would question how it disappeared overnight. Sunoo would probably shrug it off as him being careless. But as time pass by, it will get worse.

Oh how much he can't wait to see how this will work out.

And we're so close I can taste it, I see it in your eyes
If there's a chance I'ma take it
I'm beggin' you, just please give me a sign

The pitter-patter of the rain drops fill the silence of the room. Sunoo stretches his neck as he fixed his sitting position, groaning from the slight burn of his muscles from sitting for hours. He sets his pen on the desk, closing his notebook as he stood up. He has an exam tomorrow, and so he decided to study- quite extensively as he didn't even notice the hours passing. He checks his digital clock, 2:40 AM right on the dot. Sunoo decides to finally sleep and rest, his class a little before noon so he figured he could probably oversleep.

He settles in his bed, giddily going under the covers to finally soothe his aching shoulders. He sets an alarm at 11:00 AM, just in case he oversleeps way too much. Sleep soon reaches him, eyes getting heavier by the second, the cozy ambiance of his dark room with the sound of the rain drops on his roof as his lullaby. At 2:46, Sunoo is knocked out cold, adorably snuggled under his warm covers.

Until he wasn't.

Sunoo's eyes were wide open, he wasn't even aware he's holding in his breath, afraid to make any sound. He hears more rustling, as if someone's trying to open his door. Memories of his unknown stalker came crashing down on him, just when he thought he no longer has to fear anything. His paranoia made him extra careful; his curtains are always drawn- afraid to be seen by anyone, afraid to see anyone; he made sure to change all the locks and doorknobs on the dorm, even Riki's, to which the younger wordlessly complied; even checking his closet multiple times to see if any of his garments were missing; double, triple checking everyday if any of his stuff moved or changed places. It has been draining for him, and probably for his roommate too, seeing him so paranoid. But Riki always assures him he's not overreacting, and that he will always take measures to keep him safe too. After the last time he discovered a hidden camera where Riki got mad (apparently for not destroying it right away, he's not mad at Sunoo at all.), he also became wary of changing clothes on his own room, his own dorm. Riki did a survey and checked his entire room to see if there are more cameras hidden while Sunoo stood by the doorway, biting his fingernails anxiously. The younger didn't find any and that's the only time he was able to breathe properly.

So why is this happening right now?

He glances nervously at his clock, 2:49 AM.

Riki told him earlier that he will go out with his friends after his class, and Sunoo knows that his classes end at around 7 PM. Could this be him? Could this be Riki just trying to wake Sunoo... to ask for something? A phone charger maybe? Is he even home yet? Asleep? Is he also hearing the shuffling behind his door?

Sunoo's heart is racing, he could feel a panic attack surfacing, and with his best efforts he tried to normalize his breathing. Silently praying that Riki would be there to save him, or that this is just Riki drunkenly opening his door.

The door swings open loudly, Sunoo immediately panics and sits from his position, tugging his duvet closer to himself. A tuff of dark hair pops from the doorway- he could vaguely make out the tall stature of the person but he knows that this person's eyes were on him, Sunoo has to blink multiple times to clearly see from the darkness.

"Sunoo, you're awake?”

Sunoo jolts from the sudden question, the voice strangely familiar to him, sending shivers to his spine.

"Heeseung? What the fuck?"

He recognized Heeseung's voice immediately, and questions began to form in his head. Is he his stalker? He saw the older look around warily before closing the door. Sunoo squeaked, nervous and scared by how the other has been acting. Heeseung took quick strides to his bed, pulling off the blanket from him, Sunoo is close to crying- tugging the sheets back to him with all the strength he could muster.

"Why- what are you doing here? You're scaring me, Hee." Sunoo bursted out crying, beyond terrified from the way Heeseung has been acting.

"I'm so sorry for doing this Sunoo, but you have to leave. Your roommate, Ni-ki, he's a dangerous guy. You have to come with me right now." Heeseung said, strong conviction in his voice. He held Sunoo’s wrists with his left hand, the pressure making him whine. Heeseung is staring at him directly, the faintest light from the moon reflecting on his eyes. He's kneeling his left leg on the bed as he slowly pulled Sunoo up. Sunoo could feel the seriousness in his voice, but everything is moving too fast for his brain to process things.

"W-what? What are you saying? He's not like-", Sunoo asked between his sobs, still terrified but even more puzzled. Heeseung sighed before quickly pulling up his phone from the back pocket of his jeans. He made quick motions with his thumb before placing the screen right infront of Sunoo, the sudden brightness making him wince. There he showed Sunoo a picture of him sleeping on the bed. He squinted, immediately recognizing the place as his room, his very own bed, with the same clock on his study table. He could faintly make out the reflection of the person who took the picture from the large frame above his bed. Sunoo gasped loudly, bursting into tears as he covered his mouth from disbelief.

It was indeed Ni-ki.

He recognized the hoodie that the younger always wore, the chrome hearts beanie he never takes off even inside the dorm, and the phone case. The phone case that he himself gave the younger couple months ago.

He cried loudly from the realization. Several questions formed in Sunoo's brain, but he mostly felt betrayed. A part of his brain is still in denial, holding onto the bond that he and the younger had. How he made him feel happy, safe, and comfortable. How the younger always take care of him despite him being older. How he calls him Sunshine. Heeseung wiped his tears, rubbing his back gently as he cried from his misfortune.

So it was Riki all along?

"Let's go before he comes home, you have to get out of here Sunoo. I'll handle the rest." Heeseung assured him, gently picking him up from his bed. He sags into his arms, mentally tired from everything that has happened and physically tired from the lack of sleep. He lets himself get carried, no fight left in him. The person he trusted the most, the one he expects to protect him from his stalker, is his stalker himself.

Sunoo shuts his eyes, his brain shutting off from stress; finally drifting off to the sleep and peace that was taken from him. Unfortunately, had he stayed awake for one more second, he probably would be able to see the smirk on Heeseung's lips. But for now, he is at rest. Ignorance the only bliss he could afford.

Chapter Text

No virtue signaling, just wanna have you

Angels and demons up all night, I need melatonin

Ni-ki was frantic. It was the very first time in his entire 20 years of living that he felt so nervous and miserable. The wind gushed through his hair; body fully soaked from the rain as he sped up with his motorcycle. His favorite black leather jacket is now ruined, but he couldn't care less. It was a little past 3 am, still a little tipsy and baked but he felt something odd that he immediately left his friend Jake's party. He wasn't sure if it was how he saw Heeseung left right away after greeting their friends or if it was how he smugly grinned at him- knowing. Always knowing something. Ni-ki cursed, clenching his fist as he sped up even more, blatantly ignoring all the traffic lights just to get home right away, just to see Sunoo right away.

Ni-ki threw his helmet as he busted in the door of their dorm, he's so soaked that he's making a puddle on the floor. The dorm was eerily quiet, Ni-ki noticed right away. The lights all turned off, which isn't unusual especially when during this time Sunoo is already asleep. But something feels off. Something doesn't feel quite right

He took off his jacket, wet and heavy- and dropped it on the floor, no longer caring about the mess he's making. He slowly made his way towards the older's room, his breathe held in.

Why is he so nervous?

He wasn't even mine.

He went in for a knock, but to his surprise, the door opened the moment his knuckles hit the door. Not locked, the door just swung open with no resistance. Fear started creeping up on Ni-ki's body, his nightmare is starting to materialize right before his eyes. But he was too late, 30 minutes a little too late.

He noticed the wire still stuck inside the doorknob. Did that motherfucker really picked Sunoo's door? What an idiot.

But he might be a bigger idiot seeing that Sunoo is no longer in his bed. His indoor slippers discarded at the foot of his bed. Everything inside his room was clean and organized- as expected of him. Except for his bed. It was messy, his blanket all over the place, some of it already landed on the carpet. His pillows on the floor. Did he put up a fight? He at least wished Heeseung didn't hurt Sunoo.

"Was he forcibly taken?", Ni-ki inspected the area, nibbling his bottom lip nervously. If only he put up an actual camera (instead of the one he obviously placed to scare the younger), this wouldn't have happened. He would've seen what transpired just few minutes ago after Heeseung left. Just thinking about that motherfucker fuels his veins with rage.

But he knows Sunoo wasn't his- he was a job, a task.

And it was his fault for falling for his supposed to be victim. And now it has come to bite him in the ass.

It was a little past midnight, Ni-ki was on his bed, playing a shooter game when a notification popped up on his screen. He tsked, annoyed of the notification taking up a space on his screen. He ignored it until it went away and continued playing.

Until another one came, then another. The sound keeps on popping up as well, infuriating him even further.

'Who the fuck keeps on texting me? Should've set my phone on dnd, this is so fucking annoying.", he groaned as he quit the game, completely not in the mood to play anymore. Not even caring anymore that the game was a ranked game. His friends would probably curse him for rage quitting but that's the least of his worries right now.

He swiped down, opening the notification screen.

Lee Heeseung has sent a message.

Lee Heeseung has sent a message.

Lee Heeseung has sent a message.

Lee Heeseung has sent a message.

Lee Heeseung has sent a message.

Lee Heeseung has sent a message.

Lee Heeseung has sent a message.

Lee Heeseung has sent a message.

Lee Heeseung has sent a message.

Ni-ki cursed, completely sitting straight. Fuck, he completely forgot about this man.

Heeseung: Ni-ki

Heeseung: You haven't given me a single update

Heeseung: It has been weeks

Heeseung: I wired an advance payment already

Heeseung: And not even a single picture of him?

Heeseung: You little shit

Heeseung: Should've known you're useless

Heeseung: or you want him for yourself now?

Heeseung: reply NOW.

Ni-ki threw his phone at his bed, pulling his hair on his head from distress.

Why does it have to be Sunoo? Why does he have to fall for him too?

He should've known Heeseung wouldn't simply back down. He tried scaring Sunoo into making himself dependent to Heeseung, but before he knew it, he wanted Sunoo's safe space to be him. His hunger for the older's attention and recognition became stronger. He thought his plan was foolproof- but he forgot to take himself into account.

He sighed, fixing his hoodie as he stood up. He slowly made his way into the older's room, easily opening the locked door using their dorm room keys. He slid in quietly, observing the sleeping boy.

"What an angel." He whispered to himself.

He took a quick snap of Sunoo, immediately sending it to Heeseung.

Ni-ki: here

Ni-ki: You sent an image.

Ni-ki: i was busy with school, which you forced me to take btw

Ni-ki: and don't be stupid, he's all yours

Ni-ki laughed bitterly, as if.
