Another day goes by working with Dream and Ink

Another day dealing with his brother

Another day he gets left behind

Another day and he's room is being occupied by another swapped variant

Wait why is there another him in the stars base???

Ink and Dream abandoned Azure in another collapsing AU but when he returns to the base, he finds his area is occupied by another him but smaller and looks like an absolute nuisance with how much positivity is radiating off him (makes sense why Dream would pick him for his energy)

He goes to talk about it with the others of the group, but it turns into a big fight which leads blue to be trapped in an isolated AU left to die till someone from the shadows goes to pay him a visit

Chapter 1

Chapter 1

 

Azure was getting ready to go see Alphys and Undyne in her lab seeing that today was his free day. Normally it would be him sleeping in and catching up on the lack of sleep seeing as the other two monsters apart of the group didn't have the same necessities as him but that was fine! He just needs to adapt to this way of life.

 

He was humming a random tune till his phone started buzzing with many messages from one of his teammates ‘Wonder What That Could Be’ he thought as he checked his phone.

 

Paint Man: Hey blue we need your help

 

Azure: First of all my name is Azure i thought you knew this by now and second wdym you need help? It's my day off.

 

Paint Man: Okay Blue but still we need your help Nightmares gang started attacking in an undertale variant 

 

Azure: Okay and? You guys do well without me anyways

 

Paint Man: we need you to distract his lackeys and ill distract Error while Dream can finally get Nightmare and maybe he can stop being so soft towards him but wtv… Anyways see you in 5!!!

 

Azure: .

 

He takes a deep sigh as he instead gets ready for battle, sending a quick text to Alphys saying he won't be able to make it tonight as something comes up and he has to take care of it. He does feel bad as he keeps missing out of days to go back to his AU ‘You don't mean that Blue~ you've never looked back after leaving’

 

He sudders the thought away and starts to teleport to the AU being attacked.

 

As soon as he arrives he is met with a knife barley missing his head from the determination dripping skeleton 

 

“Hey blue took you long enough!” Killer shouted as he was getting ready to rush him

 

Azure inwardly cringed ‘my name is Azure but whatever’ he thought starting to summon his gaster hammer and slamming it down crashing into the ground, sending a shockwave through the air. Killer grinned, his eyes glinting with excitement. "Nice try, but you're gonna need more than that!"

 

Azure's eyes narrowed. He swung the hammer again, but this time, Killer dodged with a swift roll, slashing at Azure’s side with his knife. Azure winced as the blade scraped his armor having the sound like nails on a chalk board, but he wasn’t going to let it distract him. He reared back and summoned a barrage of bone spikes, launching them in Killer's direction.

 

Killer danced around the attacks, his laughter echoing through the battlefield. "You're too slow, Blue!"

 

But Azure had already anticipated his movements. With a quick flick of his wrist, he summoned purple strings, sending Killer flying back into the crater. 

 

Breathing heavily, Azure stood tall. "I'm not done yet.”

 

“Holy what was that!?” Exclaimed Killer as he is slammed into the ground from the strings ‘’when did baby blue get strings??’

 

Azure glared at Killer and continued with the battle soon Horror and Dust join in leaving it to be a 1v3 

 

(I'm sorry I'm not that good with fighting scenes!)

 

“Blue were retreating! This AU is a lost cause”

 

Azure was too focused on the battle to even register his words till he hears Nightmare telling his gang to retreat. He lands a hit on killer once more before jumping back to where Ink original portal was only to find it to just be Ink splats 

 

“God damnit again?? Jesus they call me on my day off and this is the thanks I get? Some teammates..” He's just gonna have to wait till they notice or he has enough magic to teleport

 

(Back with the MTT)

“Hey Dusty~”

 

Dust looks at Killer with an unamused look

 

“Ya know when our good ol got strings??? Things hurt like a bitch.”

 

Dust looks at Killer confusingly and looks towards Horror for some understanding only to see him looking at Azure with a somber look

 

“He's… left behind.. again”

 

Horror wasn't much for words so him talking must've been serious and also hints this issue has been happening for a while.

 

Nightmare goes over to the three after gathering Cross and making sure Error was making his way to destroying this world “Come on you three Error is about to finish this one off” he opens a portal into the castle 

 

The gang leave through the portal Nightmare being last to make sure everyone made it before closing it. He asked Horror if he could make dinner while he goes to check the rest for any injuries.

 

(Back to Azure)

 

He seeing the world crumble around him, endless screaming and melted monsters before it just becomes a white void once again and seeing Error in front of him

 

“Ww-wh-at ar3 y0u St1lL d0InG h3rE AzuR3?”

 

“Waiting To Gather Magic To Teleport, Need Something?”

 

He was lucky to have befriended the destroyer or else who knows what would've happened ‘he wished you were dead pretty Blue~’

 

He ignores what ever is being said from that mysterious voice and hear's Error making a portal to the Anti-Void, seeing that he left it open Azure walks into the void and takes a seat on a bean bag and starts to crochet with random needles he found and his strings till his magic and good enough to teleport back to base 

 

He wonders how things are holding up for Dream and Ink

A little while later he bids a farewell to Error before teleporting to the base 

 

He enters and walks the halls to his room thinking about if he should talk with Ink about his off days and whens the last times he's had a meal 

 

Once he enters his room he feels another presence quickly he summons some bones to protect himself only to be left confused looking at the MUCH shorter version of him looking at him with big bright teal eyelights shaped in a round star ‘why this even here what is that’ looking the skeleton he seems to be 3’4 and just looks to be a walking headache 

 

"HEWO I'M BLUEBERRY AND I JUST BECAME A STAR ISN'T THAT EXCITED!!!” The smaller shrieks already Azure can feel a headache forming from the amount of volume that things voice has.

 

“Uh Yeah Hi? Um Why Are You In My Room?”

 

The small looks at him confused “THIS IS MY ROOM THOUGH WHAT DO YOU MEAN??” 

 

“Uh Lemme Just Go See The Others And Get This Sorted” he leaves the room and the smaller tails him around till they find Ink and Dream in the planning room

 

“Yo Ink Dream why is this thing in my room?”

 

“EXCUSE YOU IM NOT A THING!?”

 

Dream looks at him weirdly “Blue your supposed to be dead why are you here?*

 

This is where Azure then looks at him confused ‘why did he stop called me Azure? What does he mean ‘dead’??? Did they already replace me?’ before another thought was brought on Ink grabs him and shoves him into a deserted AU with dream following

 

“Hey Uh What's Going On?” Azure asked nervously Ink's eyes change from the orange ! And ? (Orange means Surprise) To a green spiral and diamond (Green means Disgust) “You're supposed to be gone Blue. We thought we finally got rid of you by making you eat less and having less sleep, that when we left you in that AU you would've died along with it.”

 

Azure just looks at him in shocked then looks over to Dream but he stands there looking a bit guilty then he speaks up “Azu- Blue your positivity is barley even their especially if I try and drown you with my aura you don't react to it and if I can't get positivity too help with my arrows then you might as well be useless.”

 

Azure doesn't even know how to feel anymore or react. Hearing all this out of the blue is just insane.

 

“So What Are You Gonna Do Now That I'm ‘Back From The Dead'. He challenges them with his word choice Ink grabs his brush and before Azure can even move he is trapped in Ink chains and Dream is pointing at him with a positivity arrow.

 

“It wouldn't be the first time we had to do this… and most likely not the last” Ink says his eyelights slowly fading from the green to white “But then again you Swap variants have always been bother some” Ink looked at Dream and nodded his head then a moment later he teleported away leaving only him and Ink.

 

“So then let's get this finished quickly it's not like anyone will miss you… minus your Undyne and Alphys.” Ink grabs a cloth and covers his mouth with it to minimize the noise then starts shooting sharp ink splats towards his way leaving all sorts of small cuts making everything uncomfortable till Ink comes closer and forms a pick made of ink then stabbing his eyelights.

 

He tried to scream to fight everything but he couldn't.. not at all.

 

He doesn't know how much time goes by before he blacks out from being hit in the back of his neck all he could think of before everything goes black is 

 

‘Please Stop This Everything Hurts’

 

Chapter 2

Summary:

Azure gets saved from who???? And why is he being interrogated???

I have made some minor changes with the spelling and word placement! As you can tell in this I made it very late at night running one a monster or two

Holy I can finally sleep 😭 but Yea expect the next one in a week or two

Chapter 2

 

He doesn't know how long it's been 

 

He can't stop hearing them

 

‘But we are you’

 

‘You can't ignore us any longer~’

 

He wishes that Ink just finished the job instead of leaving him here, it's not like he can see correctly anyways.

 

He is barely awake and can feel dried up marrow and dust all over him.

 

He's so lost in thought that he didn't even hear someone teleport in. It takes him a couple minutes before he feels the chains being broken. His voice barely a whisper and hints of glitching “pp-pl3asE n0t aga-a1n, 1m s0r-Ry I cAn't d1E” 

 

He feels cold and rather goopy ropes take hold of him gently, he doesn't know whether to give in and accept his fate or try and fight but from the looks of it he can barely do anything let alone see so how would he be able to fight whoever is there.

 

Something like a hand touched softly on his skull “Sleep” was the last thing before he promptly passed out once again.

Nightmare has been feeling this powerful sense of negativity and finally decided to check it out. Making a portal to the AU with this sense of negativity and despair, walking into this isolated AU he looks around to where the negativity is but he never expected to find Azure on the brink of death. He breaks his chains and feels his fear spike up. He hears mumbling and glitching but pays no mind as he's on the brink of dusting.

 

He takes hold of him and forces him into a slumber. Carrying Azure with the help of his tentacles towards the portal into the castle and walking down the hallways to the infirmary room setting him down gently and getting to work on healing him the best he could.

 

‘How did you get this way?’

 

He thought as he cleaned up the dried marrow and started to use healing magic on his wounds to stop the dusting process. Once the process had stopped he worked on wrapping his arm seeing as it needed to be in a sling for a bit before it healed fully.

 

After taking care of Azure making sure he wouldn't dust if he left him alone for a bit he goes to Horror and ask him if he could make chicken soup and then went to Dust and asked him if he and Killer could arrange a room for their guest.

 

He returned to the infirmary with soup in tow waiting for the the injured one to wake up seeing as he desperately needed the sleep if his eye bags were anything to go by.

Azure opened his eyes only seeing white bright light so he turned his head to the side and saw Nightmare sitting near him. Shocked he sits up quickly but then he stops at the feeling of pain up his spine. He feels those cold like ropes again and melts into the feeling of the coolness and healing magic.

 

“Careful now your still injured” 

 

Azure looks at him wondering if this is actually Nightmare or if he's just saved him to end him later. Either way if he's away from the whiteness that the world displays then he is content.

 

Lost in his own skull he doesn't even register that Nightmare is talking to him till he feels the coldness on his head. 

 

“Are you okay Azure?”

 

Azure looks at him with a threatening look despite almost knocking on death's door.

 

“Relax star, I don't fight the injured” Nightmare looked at him with a gentle gaze.

 

Azure nods his skull lightly so as to not injure himself anymore than what Ink has already done.

 

Nightmare thinks for a minute or so before talking again seeing as the injured one doesn't want to speak currently “It seems that your so called ‘teammates’ left you again… but it is weird that he put his chains on you”

 

Azure looked away from Nightmare after the mention of his ‘friends’

 

'They're not your friends anymore now’

 

‘They wanted you gone because you became useless’

 

‘Just worthless Baby Blue~’

 

Azure feels the cool touch again being more prominent so he leans into it feeling the wave of sleep pulling him into a slumber.

Azure wakes up but is in a different room with darker lighting ‘Ah good no blinding lights to awake too'. He looks around at his surroundings before hearing a knock at the door then it opens releasing Killer.

 

Azure reacted instantly trying to summon his hammer but he feels a wave of pain up his spine instead leaving him to fall on one knee.

 

“Woah there Baby Blue! Careful now boss healed ya up all nice and pretty and here you are gonna ruin it all.” Killer goes over to help him up and Azure looks at him confused 

 

“Why Are Y0u Help1ng M3?” He winces at the glitching but hopes the other doesn't hear it.

 

“Welp, it was bosses orders! Now you up for some chow?” Killer says 

 

“Uh I D0n't Rea- W0aH!” Azure is now being dragged by Killer down the twisted hallways into what looks to be a dinning room and being forced into a chair.

 

Killer then goes to the other side of the table and just stares at him before trying to make conversation.

 

“Soooo Baby Blue-”

 

“My Name Is Azur3” blue mumbled 

 

Killer having good hearing rephrases his sentence.

 

“Soooooo Big Boy Azure, how's ya arm right now?”

 

“Uh It's Fine I Gu3s$”

 

“Oka okay good good now how's ya sleep schedule.”

 

“Um” Azure thinks for a moment “I guess About 21 Hours Per W3ek… 0r S0m3th1ng L1k3 Th@t..”

 

“Yea That's Not Gonna Fly By While You're Here!”

 

Azure looks at him puzzled “What D0 Y0u Me@n Wh1L3 1m H3rE???” The glitching becoming more prominent.

 

“Well ya bud while you're here getting healed you will be getting a good schedule! Tell me Azure when was the last time you ate? Last time you slept a good solid 8 hours? Or how bout a last time you actually got to have a break from fighting?” Killer says his voice becomes more monotone the more he goes on.

 

Azure feels shamed and looks down as the floor is really interesting to look at as Killer keeps going on making this whole list of things he most likely hasn't been able to do but one struck a little too close to home.

 

“When was the last time you've been loved? Or how bout last time you let someone else take care of you Azure?”

 

Azure is just silent as he sits at the table while the thoughts swarm into his mind. 

 

'When was the Last time?’

 

'Has that ever even happened before?

 

'Why hasn't it happen? Or am I just undesirable’

 

As the thoughts keep swarming into his mind making him space out. Killer stands from his seat and makes his way to Azure “Helloooooo Big Guy?? You back with me?”

 

Azure snapped his eyelights to Killer before nodding softly.

 

Killer hummed before walking into another room and returning with a glass of water and hands it to Azure. “Don't worry I ain't that low to put anything in a drink”

 

Azure drinks some of the water not even realizing how parched his throat was “Um.. Thanks..”

 

Killer nods his head “I'll take you back to your room and after a couple hours someone will go to your room to get ya for dinner.” Killer explained before helping Azure from his seat and leading him back to his room.

 

He still has so many questions to ask once Killer left but decided he could probably ask during dinner or something.

 

With nothing left to do he feels the lures of sleep as he lays on the bed and falls into a quiet slumber.

Nightmare was busy doing paperwork till Killer walks through the door “hey sexy~”

 

Nightmare looks up at Killer unamused “Hello to you too” Nightmare puts the feathered pen down and he leans back into his chair.

 

“So what have you gathered?”

 

Killer explains how Azure doesn't get good sleep, he has a poor eating schedule, has never received affection for anything and how he has never been healed for past injuries and how his speaking had weird noises and kept cutting out like losing a connection on call.

 

“Hmm thank you Killer you may go back to whatever you were doing before”

 

“Yes sir!” Killer

walks out of the offices and closes the door behind him.

 

Nightmare let's out a sigh and continued to finish his paperwork so he can make it in time for dinner.

Notes:

I have ideas for making one where Nightmare and Blue made a deal.

Blue bring Dream to him and Nightmare gets rid of Ink.

But they fall in love?!?!?

(We need more Nightberry)
