Art inspired by the song Jealous by Labrinth for this year’s AFTG mixtape exchange

Thanks so much for the prompt, I hope you enjoy! I loved listening to this song on loop and thinking about how it relates to their dynamic, I think it’s really fitting and heartbreaking all at the same time. The art is partially inspired by art nouveau posters of the early 1900s, and the flowers growing around Jean are hyacinths which commonly represent jealousy. I wanted to show Jean in this darker place for this piece, in contrast to how Kevin has managed to step more fully into himself and face some of his fears. I love their dynamic and I loved drawing this, I’m so excited to see how The Golden Raven will expand upon their relationship as well! I really enjoyed making this piece, I hope I did the prompt justice :)
