Summary:

Raven and Apple have to act out a song from Epic The Musical, and of course, the song was 'Not Sorry For Loving You', before Apple can sing the final verse, Raven confesses her bottled up feelings.

Chapter 1: the play starts here and I'm terrified

Raven could feel her heart pouncing nervously, she gently tugged at her Odysseus costume, she has never performed a musical with her crush and millions people watching her doing it.

 

The stage set was ocean themed and as she walked across the stage to get in her spot, she saw Apple in a Calypso inspired costume, she was breathtaking and almost too pretty to be playing Calypso. 

 

"You ready, Raven?" Apple smiled with glee, Raven nodded nervously, getting in her place now, since she barely has any lines, she stood back, in a kneeling position.

 

The lights dimmed and the stage lights were so bright, almost blinding Raven, she was surprised by Apple's singing voice. The light was now on Apple as she prepared herself.

 

"Someone arrived today, they said they're taking you away." Apple sung with much-needed melancholy as possible, as she lifted Raven's chin, gosh she was so pretty.

 

"That you're not mine to save, and soon I won't get to see your face." Raven stayed calm, trying her hardest not to cry and embarrass herself.

 

"So I came to say, you're unlike anyone I have ever known, cause you're all I've ever known." 

 

Apple paused again, walking away from Raven, and then she turned around again, reaching a desperate hand out to Raven from a distance. 

 

"And if I pushed you or if I came on too strong, or if I ambushed you." 

 

"For that I'll say I was wrong, and if you hate me, then I'm sorry my love's too much for you." Raven raised an eyebrow, she gasped and realized who Apple was referring to.

 

Don't play dumb Raven.

Raven thought to herself. Apple continued verse she just got done singing.

Raven stood up, walking up to Apple, they were now face-to-face. "Calypso." 

 

"Let me speak, I've spent my whole life here, was cast away when I was young, alone for a hundred years, I had no friends but the sky and sun."

 

Apple took Raven's hand, slowly thumbing it while singing so softly.

 

"So when you washed ashore, I thought for sure you were my dream come true, I thought I knew." Apple lightly pushed Raven away, again.

 

"So if I pushed you, or if I came on too strong, or if I ambushed you, for that I'll say I was wrong."

 

"And if you hate me, then I'm sorry my love's too much for you.." Apple let out a shakily, scared inhale and exhale.

 

"But I'm not sorry for loving you."

Apple's knees collapsed on the hardwood floor, pouncing on the floor, trying to show enough emotions that stayed in character while she did it.

 

"I'm not sorry, I'm angry and tired and restless and sad! I'm stuck in the moments I swore we had!"

 

"I wished that you chased me or try to embrace me, for once I'd wish you would lie and say–"

 

"I love you."

 

"You do?" 

 

"But not in the way you want me to."

 

Apple paused, her arms dropping loosely and she tugged onto her, tears flowing down like a riverside, Raven knew she fucked up when Apple grabbed her dress.

 

"I hate that I fell in love with you!"

"Why did I fall in love with you?" Apple pushed her on the ground, but that wasn't in the script at all, Raven groaned.

Apple cupped both of Raven's cheeks, staring at her violet eyes, still crying, voice breaking and Raven felt so bad.

 

"How am I supposed to get over you."

"Why in the world won't you love me too?" Before Apple could finish, Raven admitted her true feelings right there and now.

 

"I do, I do love you! Seriously, I really love you.. I've been too afraid to tell you and, I've kept this bottled for about a whole fucking month! Now, I know I seem like I'm lying but–"

 

Apple kisses her, wrapping her arms around Raven's waist, the pink trio could be heard cheering them on and the audience's applause.

 

They both bowed down and hugged each other after that, and thank goodness it wasn't so bad like Raven thought it was.

Chapter 2: the aftermath of hell

Briar sat at the makeup station where she did Apple's makeup, her hair and asked Lizzie to make her outfit.

 

She could see her reflection and rolled her eyes, feeling so betrayed by the love of her life, even though Apple's feelings were platonic, Briar felt a burning desire for Apple.

 

All she wanted was to push her lips against hers, in a totally bestfriends way – nope, in a very romantic way.

 

Apple waved in a friendly gesture to Briar while walking up to her, standing behind her in the mirror.

 

"Did you like the performance? Did you like my singing?"

 

"Yeah, you have a gorgeous voice." Briar wearily spoke, Apple giggled eagerly.

 

"And you have a beautiful vocalizing voice! Why don't you sing very often?" 

 

"Stage fright." Apple nodded.

 

"Yeah, my heart was racing when Raven kissed me." 

 

Fuck–WAIT WHAT?!

 

"You kissed her back?"

 

"Yes, why wouldn't I?"

 

"Apple... you really kissed her? Please be honest with me." 

 

"I am." 

 

Briar shook her head, eyes flooding with tears, she ran away without explaining what happened.

 

She ended up throwing up too, she sat near the trash can and her makeup was smeared.

 

She was still crying in the halls until Maddie spotted her, she ran to her and kneeled down, sitting on her bent knees.

 

"Bri?" Maddie's voice was so insouciance and sweet that Briar couldn't resist to ignore her.

 

"What the fuck do you want, Mads? I'm not in the mood to talk."

 

 

"Why are you crying? What happened at the play?" 

 

"I saw–" She'd gnash her teeth, wiping her eyelids aggressively while Maddie placed a hand on her shoulder, smiling with warmth.

 

"Go on, I'm listening."

 

"Raven kissed Apple. My heart just shattered into a million pieces, she knew my feelings were strong and meaningful!"

 

"Oh my God, that's terrible. Look, I'm so sorry that happened tonight." Briar slightly smiled, sighing.

 

"Yeah, I know."

 

"If it makes you feel better, wanna hang with Lizzie, Kitty and me?" Briar nodded merely, now standing at her feet and taking Madeline's soft, frigid hand.

 

"Yeah, let's go."

 

Apple saw the whole thing from a distance, her hands were shaking with fear and rejection.

 

She didn't know that Briar's feelings were actually true, thought it was just mutual feelings and platonic.

 

Nope.

 

Just a dyke who wanted her true heart's desire, and she's gonna get her one way or another.

 

Even if revenge is an option.

Chapter 3: revenge is the best way to go out

Summary:

Briar finally seeks revenge on Apple by secretly dating Maddie as a joke.

Maddie eagerly bounced to Briar, hugging her from behind. "Briar! Yesterday was SUCH a blast! You're so good at telling jokes!" 

 

Briar chuckled surprisingly. "I learned from the best. And I mean you, Mads." 

 

"Awh. I'm flattered!" Briar smiled, the hallways started to smell like apple blossom perfume, that meant Apple White was approaching them.

 

Briar scoffed, and pulled Maddie to an alcove to tell her a plan, after they got done talking about the plan, the brunette smeared her lipstick all over the shorter girl's neck to make it seem real.

 

"Headed to class lovebirds?" Apple flicked her curls while smiling.

 

"Yeah, we are." Briar rolled her eyes while dragging Maddie away with her, hand-in-hand.

 

"What's ruffled her feathers?" Apple frowned, turning to Raven for moral support. 

 

"Raven!" Apple lightly yelled, making Raven flinch in fear. 

 

"Sorry.. I was zoned out." Raven mumbled, rubbing the back of her head. 

 

"What's wrong? You've been tuning out all day." She heard Raven sigh miserably.

 

"It's just the play, the problems with Briar? She seemed pretty upset with you." Apple huffed, rolling her eyes.

 

"It was just a kiss! You confessed your feelings to me, not the other way around." 

 

"But she had feelings for you!" 

 

"I don't care! Her feelings were platonic anyways!" Apple dramatically rolled her eyes and walked to Princessology. 

 

"Love you too?" Raven turned her back and walked to her class for the day.

Briar was chatting with Maddie until she heard a familiar voice shouting.

 

"You're so worthless!" Apple came in the Castleteria with tears flowing down her cheeks, didn't even have the energy to argue with Briar instead. 

 

Maddie raised her eyebrow. "Is she yelling at.. Raven?" 

 

"There's been some problems in their relationship but we don't say anything about it."

 

"Okay." As the time passed, there was no sight of Apple coming into the Castleteria any time soon, she's probably in her dorm crying her eyes out by now.

 

"C'mon Mads, let's go check on her.." 

 

"Sure."

"Leave me alone!" Briar wasn't expecting Apple to scream so angrily and get a pillow thrown at her.

 

"Listen, I know you're upset with me.. I'm sorry."

 

"You should be apologizing to Maddie! You two are dating, right?!" 

 

Briar blushed, shaking her head. "N-Not the slightest, It was fake, okay?" Maddie nodded solemnly, "It was fake, she's deeply ashamed Apple! Just forgive her already."

 

"If you really want my forgiveness, kiss me.." Apple challenged while wiping her eyes. 

 

"Aren't you dating Raven?" 

 

"She's not here so it doesn't matter right now. Just do it." Apple was starting to get impatient but she calmed down. 

 

Briar did what she was told, she kissed Apple, they slowly started to melt into the warmth and softness of each other's lips, Apple pulled her by her waist and kissed her on the neck before letting her go, smiling stupidly.

 

"Is this what you wanted?"

 

"All I wanted."

Chapter 4: too much tension between us girls

"She cheated on you with Briar? The Briar Beauty?" Darling didn't even attend the play and somehow knew this shit, maybe Blondie spelled it out, again. 

 

"Yeah, it's fucking weird." Raven spat while grabbing her textbook and slamming it with her elbow.

 

"But if I cheated, it'll be so worth it." 

 

"You're difficult to deal with, you know that right?" Darling Charming chuckled. 

 

"But you're dealing with me right now.. ironic coming from a pretty girl." Raven smirked seductively, rolling her eyes. 

 

"It's hard being pretty, y'know?" Darling played along, she knew exactly what Raven was doing.

 

She placed her hand on Raven's cheek, that cheeky smirk remained on her face. 

 

"Oh really?" 

 

"Yeah." Raven smirked, taking Darling by the wrist and heading to the bathroom, shoving her against the wall to straight up devour her with kisses, hickeys and bruises all over.

 

Who could've blamed her? Darling Charming was the prettiest girl in that school besides Apple White but she wanted Darling here and now.

 

Fuck them.

 

It's just us alone in the girls' bathroom, nothing more, right? 

 

As Raven crashed her soft lips against hers, the tension between them was already steamy and obvious.

 

Darling made a sound that wasn't a groan or whimper– moaning.

 

Darling was moaning Raven Queen's name in the fucking bathroom, knowing someone could've heard them – but, Raven didn't care.

 

Raven pulled away breathlessly, same for Darling, they were two horny dykes in the bathroom together.

 

"You tasted like heaven. That just makes me wanna kiss you even more.." Darling felt Raven touch her waist and stared at her in hypnosis.

 

Holy fuck her eyes were beautiful even while trying not to hypnotize someone.

 

Darling did wanna kiss her again but was scared of Apple finding out.

 

Raven could read her like a book, she raised her eyebrow.

 

"Scared of miss-goodie-two-shoes finding out? Please. She'll never know if we keep it a secret, okay?" Darling nodded her head, smiling while showing her teeth.

Apple eventually found out. She was getting Raven back one way or another, but it wasn't gonna be easy to confort Raven, knowing all her manipulative tactics and skills.

 

After putting on one of Raven's oversized t-shirts and only in her underwear, she knew Raven would crawl back to her any minute.

 

After Raven stumbled back into their shared dorm, Apple was suddenly pinning her to a wall, her face expression was pissed off, balling up Raven's shirt and kissing her so aggressively and roughly was the last thing she expected. 

 

"I.. I fucking knew it." Apple angrily stated in-between pants. 

 

"I'm not surprised, and Blondie spelled it out to the whole fucking school anyways." Raven smirked, running her fingers through Apple's blonde curls. 

 

"And your way of winning me back was by wearing my oversized t-shirt and underwear, huh? It's kind of working, sweetheart." Apple smirked smugly. 

 

"Kind of? It should be working fully after all the shit you've done to me!" Raven wasn't expecting Apple's sudden change of attitude.

 

"Didn't you make out with Briar behind my back?"

 

"And didn't you make out with Darling in the bathroom?"

 

They're both cheating at this point.

 

Raven ached for Darling meanwhile Briar didn't give two shits about Apple after what happened at the play.

 

The play that Apple fucked up in less than a second by kissing Raven.

 

Seeing her kissing Raven made her sick in her stomach, literally. After storming out of the auditorium she threw up by a nearby trash can. 

 

"Still, she doesn't deserve you, I do!"

 

"Saids the whore of the school. Apple, I don't think this relationship is working out. Take your shit and go." Raven rolled her eyes and sat on her bed, raising her eyebrow. 

 

"Take my shirt off!" Apple scoffed absurdly, putting the shirt over her head. 

 

"You need me, Raven! It's our destiny!"

 

"Apple get the fuck out before I call Headmaster Grimm!" Raven threatened her, that made Apple get out quickly with her regular clothes on.

 

Raven screamed in her pillow, she was sick of Apple's bullshit and her recent behavior.

Briar was running her hands on Raven's sides, enjoying that Raven was desperate enough to let her make her even higher than she actually was.

 

Her lips made their way down to Raven's collarbone, trying to mark her much as possible, she really didn't know what possessed her to have a one night stand with Raven Queen. 

 

Briar forcefully took off Raven's dress and climbed on top of her, kissing her nonstop and took a minute to breathe, grabbing her left-over vodka and chucked it down her sore throat. 

 

"You're gonna be sick if you keep that up and this unhealthy sex addiction you have." Raven sat up, locking eyes with the brunette. 

 

"Saids the girl who fucked Darling Charming." Briar

 

"Fuck you!"

 

"I'm already doing that?" Briar seductively smirked, yanking Raven by the back of her hair and kissing her aggressively, Raven suddenly became wet.

 

Removing the soaked panties from Raven and throwing them on the floor, she was was too busy moaning to realize that Briar stuck two fingers in and she came, staining Briar's sheets was last thing she expected. Totally accidental, but Briar didn't care, she'll just clean them later.

 

 I'm so sorry about that."

 

"It's fine I'll get them cleaned, but promise me you won't tell anyone about this?" Briar whispered quietly in her ear.

 

"Hey, Bri?" Raven fixed her hair into a ponytail.

 

"Hm?" 

 

"I had fun, we should do this more often? If you're cool with that."

 

"Another getting high with me and fucking session?" 

 

"Just keep it on the down low, okay?" 

 

"Of course." Briar chuckled nervously, "I got you." Raven slammed the door behind her while she left a questioning-about-her-sexuality Briar.

 

Fuck, she was so confused.

Chapter 5: you're mine to gatekeep

Darling Charming was fucking bored, ridiculously bored. God knows what her brothers are doing right now, Daring was probably flirting with ever girl his eyes laid on, and Dexter was just – Dexter.

 

Word got out that he's in love with Raven Queen but Darling has never seen her with him.

 

Was Raven Queen bisexual? No way. 

 

"You okay?" Darling shot a mean glare at Cupid, she did not have the patience to make small talk. 

 

"No, It's Briar! She's snatching Raven away from me! They even had sex, which I didn't know about." Cupid wasn't expecting that last bit, but she placed a comforting hand on Darling's shoulder. 

 

"It'll be okay.. maybe you two will be back together in no time."

 

"We're not dating, just because we made out in the bathroom doesn't mean shit to me." Darling fixed her camisole while Cupid frowned a little.

 

"But, you were just complaining about how Briar's taking her away from you. Is it jealously?" 

 

Darling almost choked after hearing that word, she shot another look at Cupid. "Jealously? Hell, it might be."

 

"Huh, how did you feel when Raven kissed Apple during the play?"

 

Darling blinked twice, twice.

 

That meant she was pissed off.

 

"What, they kissed!?" Darling stood up, her hands now balled up, trying her hardest not to go and argue with Apple. 

 

"Briar saw it too, she ended up running out of the auditorium and threw up." 

 

"I'm gonna fucking kill them both!" Darling left. Cupid didn't have any energy to chase after her ethier, overall she was very scared for Raven.

Raven sat up on her bed, she was hesitant to go hang out with Briar behind Darling's back – but word got out that her and Briar had sex, which wasn't her fault.

 

She couldn't help the fact that Briar had an unhealthy habit and Apple wasn't seen after the altercation with Raven, which was a little weird.

 

Two days without Apple nagging In Raven's face about destiny, it made her miss her,  wear her hoodies unexpectedly, she even made Apple her lockscreen.

 

That's how much hell she's been through without her roommate. 

 

"Raven?" A familiar soft, vibrant voice made Raven shot up, squinting her eyes and reaching out for Apple's hand.

 

Apple giggled, so it was Apple and not a fucking hallucination.

 

"Hey, relax, silly. It's just me.." Apple looked so pretty after all that went down. 

 

"I'm sorry.." Raven wasn't expecting to be the one apologizing first. "I'm sorry for kissing you at the play.. it was an accident." 

 

"It was just a kiss.. and I'm sorry for calling you useless.. you're way stronger than me, and worth something unlike me–" 

 

"You are worth something." Apple paused, locking eyes with Raven.

 

She shed a tear, the second time she cried when she was in Raven's presence. 

 

They hugged it out affectionately, but that's not enough for Raven, she wants to kiss her again and again.

Darling did get the chance to talk to Raven, it felt like a huge weight was off her shoulders.

 

But something else was bothering her at the back of her head that she just couldn't get.

 

Briar stepped into her dorm, standing stiffly in the doorframe. "Hey.. Darling." 

 

Darling rolled her eyes, flipping Briar off with the back of her finger.

 

"Leave me alone. Don't you have someone else to talk to?" 

 

Briar stared to walk over to Darling until she stopped dead in her tracks and stared at her solely, Darling did the same. 

 

"I guess we're both head over heels for Raven Queen?" Darling lightly chuckled.

 

"Yeah.. I guess." 

 

"Why the 'down in the dumps' face, Bri? You should be proud that-" 

 

"Proud that I fucked the Evil Queen's daughter? No, it was a honest mistake and we were both high as fuck that night."

 

Briar bit her tongue, she had to come clean with someone, and that someone wasn't supposed to be Darling.

 

"You shouldn't feel guilty about it, I mean.. you're the prettiest girl in this school! So, who wouldn't have sexual relations with you?"

 

"Would you?" Briar lifted her chin up, locking eyes with Darling, who was giggling nervously.

 

"I'm dating someone already." Briar held her laughter, she knew when Darling was lying.

 

"I know you like a book, Darling. No way your dating anyone, besides Raven." 

 

Darling could feel her stomach tingling, fingers twisting in knots, mind going fuzzy and black, she's gonna faint.

Chapter 6: rekindling the past isn't that easy to do

Raven's POV

I saw Apple stretching, getting ready for a royally enchanting day until she locked eyes with me, I sworn that I was gonna pass out. But luckily I didn't. I was about to ask her a question until my mind wandering off to that kiss.

 

I kissed Apple White, my roommate, soulmate that is.

 

It wasn't unintentionally, I swear.

 

To continue this, her hands were shaking. What the fuck was happening right now? 

 

She was staring at me sadly like she wanted to ask me a serious question. 

 

As long if it isn't about Briar or Darling I'm okay with it.

 

"Raven." Her voice dipped with worry, "We need to talk about that incident."

 

My heart pounced a little.

 

Is she talking about that incident?

 

Maybe she is.

 

Calm down, Raven.

 

All she wants to have a talk, nothing more than that.

Apple's POV 

 

Raven was shaking, her body was trembling.

 

What the hell was I suppose to do? Stand there and let her cry?

 

"Raven.." Her voice was soft, laced with ease. "Calm down, I just want to talk to you." 

 

She stopped shaking, thank Grimm. 

 

"Sure.." Her voice came out squeaky and unsure.

 

She nodded and smiled, Apple took her hand and left the dorm, she wanted to take her to the Commoners' Room so they can have a little alone time.

The two girls sat near the fireplace, their laughter filled the quiet, eerie halls of Ever After High.

 

Apple sat elegantly on her bent knees, staring at Raven softly. 

 

"Listen.. I wanted to talk to you about that kiss incident. It wasn't your fault, but I liked it." 

 

"You what?"

 

"I liked the kiss, It was sweet and passionate."

 

Raven stared at the fire, then back at Apple.

 

"I felt like I was gonna throw up, It felt weird kissing Darling and fucking Briar." Apple smirked.

 

"Who's next on your list?"

 

"Apple, what the fuck?" She said in-between laughs, Apple joined in on the laughter.

 

She wanted to kiss Apple here and now but she kept her lips concealed, not trying to cause any more problems.

 

"I'm just kidding! I do like you. I don't like you as a friend, Raven will you be my–"

Raven's POV 

 

"Will you be my partner for eternity, Raven?" Apple nervously fidgeting with her hair.

 

"Apple," Raven said sheepishly, once again. "I don't know if I actually love you back."

 

Apple paused dead in her tracks.

 

Raven know that look anywhere.

 

"That's fine. It's..okay." Apple stood up, her voice trembling and became unrecognizable.

 

She's not gonna chase after her ethier.

 

She'll just apologize.

 

Best thing to do, right?

Apple's POV 

 

Her heart feels ripped out of her chest.

 

She thought they had something special?

 

Apple guessed not..

 

She don't wanna see Raven's face ever again.

 

She's just like her mother.

 

Cold-hearted and non-trusting.

 

She hates her!

 

Why the lies, why did Raven do this?!

Raven's POV 

 

She tried to apologize to her.

 

Apple didn't wanna hear her say anything.

 

She's so stupid for rejecting her like that.

 

Raven should've kissed her again when she had the chance to.

Chapter 7: destroying her stuff for my sanity

Briar made sure her fingers were strolling rapidly while on Apple's MyChapter page, they started to burn, her nails nearly broke off.

 

Apple was at her vanity set nursing her lips with her signature strawberry lipstick, the one that Briar couldn't absolutely stand. 

 

The scent always rotted in her nose, when Apple doesn't have any more to use, Briar always has spares in her purse.

 

For some reason. 

 

"I'm going out." Briar didn't dare to look at Apple's giddy grin. 

 

"Have fun." Her voice dripped tenderness, rolling her eyes angrily. 

 

"You sound mad, are you okay?"

 

"I'm not mad. Go on your special little date with Raven, okay? I'll be fine here.. by myself."

 

Raven Q. (3:21 a.m)

 apple's going on a date with you?

Briar heard the door slamming, she placed her phone facedown, screaming into her hands; great, she was alone, all she could do is fuck herself and think that's Apple pleasing her but instead it's her stupid pink acrylic nails doing the work. 

 

All she needed was Apple.

Raven and Apple were snuggled comfortably in the Commoners' room, they'd just got done singing One Reflections songs to the top of their lungs. 

 

"That was fun! We should do it again sometime." Raven smiled. 

 

"Yeah, it was fun.." 

 

"What's the matter?" Raven shook her head, looking away.

 

"Nothing, just exhausted." 

 

"Oh, it's natural to feel.. exhausted." Apple adds nervously. 

 

"Mhm."

 

Briar could hear Raven's laughter and Apple's sweet-hearted voice. 

 

It made her mad.

 

After walking in and pretending to look for something, her eyes narrowed to them.. kissing.

 

Her stomach painfully  tightened, it was the same feeling when she was at the play backstage singing her heart out. 

 

Just to get played like a fucking joke by the future Snow White, total bummer.

 

Briar knew Raven was a good friend, but when you pull stupid stunts like this, It makes you feel like you're about to destroy something. 

 

Briar went to Raven's and Apple dorm, her side of the room was destroyed, her mirror was cracked. Madness struck into Briar. 

 

After seeing them holding hands in the hallways or anywhere in general, she completely ghosted Apple. 

 

Blocked her on all socials, who could've blamed her? She was a hopeless romantic for a long time even before the play happened.

Chapter 8: the poison ivy doesn't itch anymore

Apple wants her relationship with Raven to be healthy, and sex emotionally is the best way to go out 🤷🏽‍♀️ (not heavily sex, just kissing and possibly leaning towards yk)

Apple was quietly listening to Tailor Quick in her headphones, singing the lyrics with a soft, vibrant tone.

 

Raven was sitting on the edge of the bed as well, playing with the hem of her black hoodie, hair up in a ponytail.

 

"Can we have sex emotionally?" Raven asked in one breath, Apple paused her music and raised her eyebrow, face flushed.

 

"Huh?" 

 

"I'm asking.. can we have sex emotionally. We don't have to take things seriously, I just wanna spend more time with you." 

 

Apple just made a sound, but nothing came out of her mouth. They never had sex, especially not emotionally.

 

How the fuck can it work? They're already toxic enough. 

 

Apple heavily sighed, removing her headphones and placing them to the side. "C'mere, get on top of me."

 

"Are you sure? I don't wanna.. hurt you by taking it too far."

 

"You won't. We can handle this." Apple's voice was leaving Raven in a trance.. it was so hypnotizing.

 

Raven was on top of her now.

 

Legs intertwined in knots, Apple smiled sympathetically and locked eyes with her roommate.

 

"You won't mess up, it's just kissing, remember?"

 

"Right, yeah." They kissed, their little hearts were on cloud nine, Raven had her hands firmly on Apple's small waist, and lipstick was starting to get on Apple's neck, but she didn't care.

 

Raven pulled away, now laying in her lap, breathing softly, she continued to satisfy Apple by kissing her nonstop; giving her hickeys all across her collarbone and neck, this probably lasted for an hour but it was no biggie, they stayed in silence until Apple spoke to her softly.

 

"You did well, my birdie. Just breathe, okay?"

 

"I am.. I'm sorry for being such a horrible girlfriend."

 

"Hey, what happened with Bri and Darling is in the past... I'm over it, we're taking things slowly, okay? You're the prettiest girl I've ever met."

 

Raven looked up, something soft were behind her eyes, she blushed. "Holy fuck, Apple.. do you really mean that?"

 

"Yeah, of course. No lies were told, you're gorgeous." Apple kissed her nose, smiling. 

 

"Here," Apple grabbed her headphones and placed them on Raven's head, putting the volume on low. "Just relax, I'm here." 

 

Raven eventually fell asleep in her arms, Apple just held her like she was a puppy or something. They needed this little bonding experience after all the shit that happened at the play.

 

And for once, the both of them didn't run away this time, It was finally the biggest weight off their shoulders and they also started communicating with each other again. Raven prays that they stay healthy.

Chapter 9: coming clean with the devil 1/2

Briar looked at her vanity set that stood before her, her fist balled up. She should punch the mirror, herself or Apple White.

 

She can't decide what's worse, them kissing or having sex the other day. She knew that Apple and Raven were close – extremely close. 

 

Her heart nearly died when she saw her and Raven kissing after the play, everywhere they went, they had to kiss each other sloppily, tenderly and she hated it.

 

She pictures that she's Raven, that she's singing in Raven's voice, she's–

 

"Bri?" 

 

"What the fuck?!" Apple was standing in the doorway with her lacey nightgown and her fucking tits are not helping Briar contracte.

 

"Are you okay?"

 

I was about to punch you.

 

"I was doing my makeup.. yeah."

 

"Really?"

 

I'm fucking sick of you putting Raven before me.

 

Am I not good enough?

 

"It's not pretty enough.." 

 

"It is."

 

Always being so innocently stupid.. fuck you're so stupid!

 

"Thanks." 

 

"Of course, I'm gonna head back to sleep, love you."

 

"Mhm." Briar sits there, clenching her fist even tighter than the first time, she was about to do something hellbent to Apple and Raven, she couldn't take it anymore, she wanted them to feel pain.

 

Endless pain.

 

It was making her brain itch everytime Apple did something with Raven.. it was sickening.

 

She hated being the third wheeler, the one that always pretends that everything is okay when it really isn't.

 

The one that has to pretend that she loves them together when she actually doesn't give two shits about them.

 

She was losing her mind, and she needed to talk to Maddie and Cupid, her only friends who understood her pain.

Chapter 10: coming clean with the devil 2/2

Cupid and Maddie were sitting across from Briar, Apple and Raven.

 

They had no idea why they were the ones giving them therapy sessions when Apple could've done it herself.

 

"Okay, who's the.. how should I put this–"

 

"Who's the problem in this relationship?" Maddie cocked her head, she didn't know why she was even here, Cupid sighed, nodding her head.

 

"I didn't want put it like that but sure." 

 

"Well, Raven and I are on excellent terms, but we're trying to be a healthier couple." 

 

"Yeah, and I love that for us–"

 

"I'm sorry." Briar kindly interrupted them, her eyes were starting to feel glassy, and her lip wobbled.

 

"I'm sorry for being such a horrible friend! It was wrong for me to even have an one night stand with Raven in the first fucking place! I know she didn't wanna turn me down but I–"

 

Apple hugged her, Raven joined in on the friendship hug.

 

"Are we on good terms now?" Briar chuckled, wiping her eyes. "Yeah, we are. I'm sorry for dragging you two in my mess as well, I'm so sorry Mads and Cupid."

 

"It's no biggie, I'm okay if you're okay!" Maddie smiled toothy at her, giving her a thumbs up.

 

"Yeah, it's okay!" Briar did the gesture back, smiling, for the rest of that time, they had a sleepover, they watched movies and just enjoyed the warmth.

 

They were back bestfriends, no more problems between the five girls, they were happier than ever.

 

And it was gonna stay like that.
