I have oft read, in stories, about characters going on long journeys or meditating for days to learn their 'true name', a name that sums up the entirety of their person, which gives them power enough to overcome their enemies. Though I have no enemy to beat except my own mind, and no magical power to gain, I hope that what i write in the coming pages, a summary of my life, experiences and thoughts, will be enough to gain me power through understanding, to learn who I truly am. In that vein, everything within these pages is the truth, in so far as I remember and know.
