AUs and Art

Summary:

I have a lot of ideas for things I’d like to write. I don’t have as much motivation/ability to write as I do to draw, so I thought it’d simply be fun to make some art and/or au idea references. Kinda so if I ever decide to actually write something, I can have references, cuz those are great help in visuals (also hoping that perhaps drawing will motivate me to writing about them)!

Chapter 1: Experiment: Kennel (Izuku) - Ref

And because I say so, ima try to do some explaining about the au too, just to give a tad of bg.
No major explanations since this is an art space. Warning, I’m kinda sucky with storylines and lore, so expect things to not make sense from me, even with the bare knowledge I give.

This au is as the name suggests an experiment Izuku au I came up with :3

It’s comparable to a Nomu version, where this one has multiple quirks. It’s not the Doctor who does this though, and they are living and capable of their own decisions. That is a major difference between it being Nomu vs an Experiment au.

 

Kinda Quick summary:

Izuku is found out to be Quirkless, gets kidnapped by this experiment organization to be used as a Quirkless test subject receiving quirks (along with at least 3 other kidnapped younglings, which I’ve decided upon one being agal with water hair, a werewolf quirk kid, and a hypnosis quirk- all of which I have ideas for designs, just need to actually draw them out). The others happen to all not be compatible for other quirks compared to Izuku’s baseline Quirkless self, so only Izuku happens to be successful.

He gets trained up to be a weapon with his quirks, and be able to do work/orders from The Kennel (which is what I’m calling the place of which these experiments took place). He is a Guard Dog (which is one of his nicknames, alongside Puppy, which is what he mainly goes by- yes, strange, I know) and The Kennel exchanges Izuku’s services of protection to other groups for money.

This leads to when Eri escapes and I decided cuz yes Izuku gets brought to the Shie Hissaki to be Eri’s guard dog.

Raid happens (Bakugo is part of it in place of Izuku) and the one group that Bakugo is in finds them. Izuku manages to recognize Bakugo, easily accepting to go along because of him (he is far more toned down in personality, though gots rbf and angry still- just not nearly as much as the usual). Then woooo they’re saved and brought back to UA.

 

Bad explanation? Probably, but I was just trying to throw my brain at the page and hope words fell out and stuck, so guess I’ll take it.

Anyways, art time, that’s the point of this and it’s all been words (sorry)

Here is a lil chibi of him :3 (and what is meant to be a younger looking version of him, off a quirk he gained I refer to as “Young Disguise”) and then I drew over my drawing with the “Ink Demon” (bet the name of the quirk reminds ya of Bendy, ain’t it?) quirk showing.

Aaaand then I also have the full “Ink Demon” form!

For his full form, the ink of his quirk kinda goes over top his clothes (that’s the only explanation I have for it) since he’s growing in size, so it all just layers on.

 

Additionally, the pink eyes are another quirk, I just wanted to get a reference on the color pink I needed.

 

Anyways, that’s all I have for now. If I make anything else on Izuku of this au, it will be edited in here. Other character will get their own space :3
