"You can't hurt me anymore" "Sunoo please don't do this" "No, I'm done with you, I've had enough." This was the last conversation Sunoo and Sunghoon had before Sunoo took a year hiatus from Enhypen. Sunghoon and Sunoo had a secret on and off relationship for 2 years until Sunoo called it quits. But the reason Sunoo took his hiatus wasn't shared with the public or even the other members. The first few months of their relationship was straight out of a movie. Sunghoon would shower Sunoo with gifts and affection every chance he could get. Since it was a secret relationship they tried to meet in private as many times as they could. But after the one year mark things started to get a little toxic.
Sunoo had planned a one year anniversary date night. He spent 3 hours getting ready a picnic date and even drove 2 hours out of Seoul to get Sunghoons favorite cake. Sunghoon usually took care of the date logistics so Sunoo really wanted to do this for him. But when the time came they had planned to meet, Sunghoon was nowhere to be found. 2 hours had passed and Sunoo still hadn't heard anything from Sunghoon. He was furious, so he packed everything up and drove home. Sunoo arrived back at the dorm and still hadn't heard anything from Sunghoon. It was now around 2AM and Sunoo couldn't sleep because of how livid he was so he decided to go to Sunghoons dorm since Sunoo stays in the one downstairs. He enters the front door and goes straight into Sunghoons room, but since it was dark he could only see the silhouette of his bed cover so he turns the light on and sees a woman in bed with Sunghoon.
Sunoo couldn't believe what he was seeing and left the room immediately. Sunghoon got up right away and followed Sunoo out the door. Since it was late they were arguing in their whispering voices "Fuck you Sunghoon, really? After I set everything up for our anniversary date?" "Sunoo please I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I don't know what happened. I was at the bar one minute then the second I was in bed with this random woman" "Right so you not only forgot about our anniversary but you cheated, well happy anniversary us." Sunoo continued making his way to the front door but Sunghoon wasn't letting him leave. "Please Sunoo don't leave" Sunghoon started pleading with him "You're the one I want not her, please" he grabs Sunoos hand and starts kissing it. However Sunoo hates seeing him all pitiful "Hyung.. I.. I you have to give me a minute-" Sunghoon then begins kissing Sunoos neck "Hyung.. I- I-" Sunoo is trembling, he knows he can't resist Sunghoons kisses on his skin.
Sunghoon continues to plead with Sunoo "Please I'll get rid of her and we can talk" "Okay, but I don't want to see her" "Yes, yes fine please just don't go." So Sunghoon kicks the woman out of his dorm leaving Sunoo and Sunghoon alone on his bed. They talked for hours and ended up sleeping with each other. Sunoo really thought after that night it was going to be a new beginning for them but things only got even worse from that point onward. Sunghoon kept lying, cheating and manipulating Sunoo to the point it started to take a mental toll on him and even started affecting their schedules. Sunoo felt all alone because he knew no one could understand what he was going through and that's when he decided to put an end to everything with Sunghoon and take a hiatus. Now, a year later he's ready to rejoin the group. He's spoken and hung out with all the members during his hiatus except for Sunghoon who he hasn't seen or heard from in a year. Although he's nervous about continuing his position in Enhypen he knows he's in a much better mental space than he was a year ago and this is still something he loves doing, and nobody is going to stop him from doing just that not even Sunghoon.
