The girl hailed a cab, which pulled over and stopped in front of her, and the girl sat in the backseat.
"Where to?" The cab driver asked
"MDC fashion house." The girl said, which made the cab driver nod his head as he pulled out and started driving into the city of Paris
"Are you going to sign up at Rolling Stone Records?" The cab driver asked as he looked in his rear mirror
"You can say that." The girl said, and when they entered Paris City, the girl was shocked at what she saw as they drove through the streets of Paris
The girl saw multiple muggings, a couple of murders, kidnappings, gang shootouts, gang wars, robberies, drug deals being made, Arson, Homicide, prostitution, shoplifting, and black market activity happening on the streets of Paris
"What happened here?" The girl asked as she turned away from the window, which made the cab driver sigh
"A lot happened after 10 years when Ladybug announced her retirement and left Paris. It was the same with her best friend." The cab driver said
"Who was Ladybug's best friend?" The girl asked
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng." The cab driver said, and then he sighed
"I used to be friends with Marinette." The cab driver said
"What happened between the two of you?" The girl asked
"We had a falling out over a girl who we all thought was living a wonderful life, while Marinette kept telling us that it was all a lie and that we would fall with the girl when her lies reveal themselves." The cab driver said
"We didn't believe her until the girl revealed everything to us in court, and that's when our world came crashing down." The cab driver said
"We all lost our futures, no colleges wanted us, no high-paying jobs wanted to hire us, and the entire city hates us after what we said and did to Ladybug's best friend." The cab driver said
"Can I ask what your name is?" The girl asked, which made the man look back
Ivan Bruel. Ivan said, which made the girl smile
"Nice to meet you, Ivan." The girl said
"Can I get to know your name?" Ivan asked
Sure, you can call me Marissa, but my friends call me Mari. Marissa said as the cab pulled up in front of the MDC fashion house, where Marissa paid her fare and got out
"It was nice talking to you, Ivan." Marissa said with a smile on her face
"Nice meeting you as well, Marissa." Ivan said, then Marissa closed the door, and the cab drove off while Marissa looked at the MDC fashion house building. Then she walked through the door, where she entered the foyer, where she saw it was tagged up heavily as she walked and entered the elevator.
