How to Save a Life

Summary:

Lily finds herself in the world of Magi after a half-hearted prayer, and she is determined to not let Al Thamen get away with their plans and maybe build a small harem along the way.

Notes:

I have an odd soft spot for Ithnan so he well get some favoritism but I also adore two other idiots I'm sure you can figure out who they are.

Chapter 1: Isekaied but not by truck chan

Anyone looking at me would think I have the best life, a Twenty-three year old with a house, fashionable, outgoing and certifications to work as a personal trainer.
Unfortunately thats just how it is people look at someone and make assumptions but it's not always what people assume like right now as this woman is gushing about how lucky and blessed I am when I'd rather be born on a different planet at this point.

I smile and nod as she keeps going until I hear someone calling for me. I politely excuse myself and head over to one of my coworkers and let out a heavy sigh.
As it so happens it seems we are wrapping up for the day since we had some cancelations and I couldn't be happier to finally head home. I've had to much human interaction today and I'd rather be at home curled up with a book right now.

I grabbed my stuff from my locker and head out waving by to my coworkers and gym goers that greet me as I pass. I look up at the sky as the first rain drop falls and I groan. One thing I hate is driving home in the rain, for some reason people in my state don't know how to drive ever and it just gets worse when it's something other than sun.

I run over to my car as the rain starts to down pour and I sigh tossing my bag into the back seat.
"Well at least the worse things to happen today was someone dropping a weight on my foot and getting down poured on can't get worse right?"

Honestly I should have kept my mouth shut cause now here I am in some final destination shit waiting to see what the after life is like. Seriously If I was going to go out I'd want to go out by shark not because some dumb ass cut in front of a flat bed truck and caused an accident affecting others around.

I look down at the thin pipe through my chest and try to breathe.
"Well if there's any gods could yall please send me somewhere filled with adventure and maybe some cult shit to keep me on my toes....that would be great thanks."

I close my eyes and let out a ragged sigh accepting the outcome as my vision wavers. I could see the tell tale lights of police and ambulances but that doesn't matter for me cause I know I'm very much going to die. "And let me be the only death please."

I let out one last shaky breathe as I feel the coldness set in.

I feel like I'm being shook but that's not right I died so why? I slowly open my eyes and groan."ugh my head what's going on?"

I hear a happy gasp.
"Oh thank goodness, look Alibaba, Morg she's okay."
I sit up straight..Alibaba...Morg...you got to be kidding me. I stare at the kid that was shaking me before i raise my hands and rub my temples.
"Awesome...when I prayed this is not what I was expecting."

I looked up at Aladdin and saw his curious face.
"Hey kid what does the Rukh look like around me?"

I watched as his eyes lit up and then he grinned a bit.
"They are like Sinbad's, there's so many it's almost blinding."
I hum and pat his head.
"Well at least now your not the only one that's been shoved into a world you're a stranger too."

I watched Aladdin frown before it slowly dawned on him that I'm not from here.
"Did you also come from a tower miss?"
I sigh and smile, he's such a sweet kid.
"No, a different world...I died in mine so I'm honestly surprised I get a second chance in a place as amazing as this."

Aladdin smiled and held his hand out for me to take and who was I to leave the little guy hanging. I took his hand and stood up while I look around, this is Balbaad...before everything hits the fan. I squat down and gesture for Aladdin to come closer and he did with a curious look in his eyes.
"What if I told you I could help change the flow of this world for the better?"

I saw his eyes light up with a understanding I wasn't expecting.
"Do you know something miss?"
I hum and nod with a smile.
"In my world someone wrote about yours I know up to a certain extent how things will happen and alot of them I dont like nor do I want to happen. I want to help save as many people as possible."

Aladdin smiled widely before stepping back.
"I knew I was right to wake you. You are a very kind lady. Where do we start?"

I look at the small group and smile.
"The palace!"
I see Alibaba flinch and I walk towards him and pat his head.
"You are capable of great things Alibaba don't let your self doubt get in your way especially when you have such a wonderful support group."

Alibaba looks up at me with a look of confusion.
"But I can't even understand how to use my weapon how can I be capable of great things when I can't even communicate properly with my djinn."

I hum and glance at his blade.
"Your not Sinbad so don't hold yourself to his standards. Your Alibaba and there's only one you, you'll figure it out. Now let's go cause your brother has done something unforgivable."

I start walking to the palace and the three kids follow. Getting in was quite easy thanks to Alibaba being one of the Princes of Balbaad. As we enter the throne room I watch Aladdin dash forward towards the two men in the middle.

Hmmmm they must have just had 'that' discussion. I glance over at the banker and narrow my eyes as he smiles at me. I turn and walk over to him and lean forward to whisper in his ear.
"I want you to know I'm going to be every member of Al Thamen's worst nightmare. I won't let your lot get away with your shit anymore."
I stand back up and smirk at the look of shock on his face. I turn around to see Aladdin waving me over and I walk to him.
"Miss I never got your name."
I chuckle softly patting his head.
"It's Lily!"

"Such a beautiful name for a beautiful flower."
I hear a tired sigh and fight a smile as I glance over my shoulder to the man behind me.
"Hmmm and you must be the womanizer of the seven seas...King Sinbad correct?"

I watch his face to see a quick moment of shock appear as quickly as it vanished leaving behind a smile...such a playboy, but I could also hear Jafar let out a small laugh before going back to business.
"Aladdin said you knew something important."
I turned to the prince sitting on the throne and tilted my head.
"How no one has dragged you from that throne is beyond me."
I saw Alibaba cross his arms in a sign for me to stop and I could hear Sinbad and Jafar let out a soft gasp.

"Excuse you! I am the current king of Balbadd you will respect me."

I let out a laugh and then sneer at him.
"I have no respect for a King that would willing sale his people into slavery."

I watch him flinch and shift, I could feel the tension rise and I know exactly who is pissed by this knowledge.
Sinbad being the level headed man as usually places his hand on my shoulder.
"That's a very dangerous accusation towards a King."

I huff and brush his hand off my shoulder.
"It's no accusation it's fact. Isn't that right Banker?"

The banker chuckles!
"Well I didn't think I'd have to discuss this so soon but the lady is correct. After all it was part of the deal it can't be changed."

I hum and look back at the Prince.
"Your honestly a disgrace and you father is definitely highly disappointed. You should be ashamed for destroying the kingdom your father cared for."

I turn and walk over to the Banker, I could feel both Sinbad and Jafar watching me.
"I'm curious...is this the King of Kou's plan or are you acting for Arba...I wonder what would happen to your head if the King knew what your little group was up to especially in his own country."

I watched the Banker adjust his collar and I hummed.
"Arba it is then and that would mean you'd loose your head correct."

I watch him swallow before glancing away I grab his face and make him look at me.
"No no non of that. No communicating with your little friend Ithnan."

I grinned as his eyes go wide.
"Yeah...I know about him too."
I grab him by the back of his head and drag him forward and throw him on the ground.

"Honestly I'm a nice person but I dispise when someone's plans involve using a naive child regardless of how selfish and greedy he is."

I look at the prince
"Fix...your...mess."
The prince shivered and looked at the Banker.
"Place the banker in a cell until I can figure out how to fix this."

I hum and glance at Sinbad he's still watching me but he has that smile that screams he's plotting.
"Maybe you should ask the King of Sindria for advice."

I watched the prince hum and nod
"Yes yes I agree."
I eye him as he rubs his hands together.
"I should cancel my engagement with Kou's princess and take you instead. What do you say you'd make a wise queen."

I visibly gag
"Ugh ew no, not only are you too young your so far from my type."

I watch him frown at me.
"I am a king! You think you can do better than me? Hah!"

I burst out laughing gaining everyone's attention.
"Oh....oh...my...God pffft. Oh honey my own hand is immensely better than you."
I could see the confusion on the younger ones but I can hear sinbad muffling a chuckle and Jafar sighing and something that suspiciously sound like 'oh god there's two of them' come out of his mouth.

The young prince huffed a bit as his own guards chuckled before he sighed and waved us away.
"I'm tired of this please remove yourselves I will discuss with King Sinbad on how to fix this."

I hum and follow Aladdin and his group out.
Alibaba turned towards me with sparkling eyes.
"Your amazing miss. I wish I could have been capable of what you just did in there."

I sigh and look at Alibaba.
"Hun I am me and you are you. I had knowledge that you didn't and I plan on using the knowledge I have to help others and to prevent as many disasters as possible. You are capable of amazing things and I tell you this because I know what you will do and the man you will become. Do not discredit yourself do you understand me."
Alibaba looked down and then back up at me a small smile on his face.
"I understand and thank you for helping my father's people...my people."

I pat his head head softly
"Of course hun."
I glance at Morgiana and smile at her pouting face. I take my hand and pat her head as well.
"And you...you will become an absolute force to be reckoned with and I can't wait to see it."

Morgiana looked up at me with a smile in her eyes as she nodded.

"Now...there is two things that will happen at some point going forward and to an extent I will not assist because it is vital you all experience them but I will step in to keep people safe. Understood?"

I watch them nod and I smile.
"Well...the Prince certainly made a mess of everything but I'm quite happy you stepped in when you did beautiful flower."
I inwardly groan before I turn around and stare at Sinbad.

"You are very lucky your a king or else I'd call you a few choice words."
Jafar snickered
"It's wonderful to see there's a woman your charm won't work on."
I could see Sinbad deflate at Jafars words.
"Really...do you have to say it when it's clear enough."

I snicker
"I have standards King Sinbad and regardless of how handsome you are you lack a very specific quality that I like."

Sinbad perked up and walked forward
"And that would be?"
I smirk up at him
"Marriageable!"
I watch him flinch again and I snicker
"Shame really other than that you fit every other aspect. Oh well can't be helped."

Jafar hummed
"If he would to take a wife would you be interested in such a positon?".

I hum and look over at Jafar
"Depends if it interferes with what I want to do then no.

Jafar quirks an eyebrow at me before narrowing his eyes.
"And that would be?"

I snicker before tilting my head
"Getting rid of the shadows of that group that hide in this world."

Sinbad perks up once more
"What do you know of that group?"

I smirk at him
"A lot more than you...I even know where they call home and I plan on smoking them out of their little hole. The stunt with the Banker is the first step. I'm going to hunt for the other one so if you'll excuse me."

I turn and walk off towards the slums. I won't let them hurt Cassim either the boys lost and hurt.
That deal should be happening soon I sneak around the guards and slip through the hallways finding the door that the meeting is taking place in. I can hear Ithnan speaking to Cassim and his group he's close enough to the door I'd be able to smack him with it. I grin wickedly before I kicking in the door hearing it collide with Ithnan and a loud oof as he hits the floor.

I walk in snickering and stare down at him before crouching above over him.
"Mmmm how far you've fallen Ithnan and how easily she manipulated you. A shame such a waste for someone so cute."

"How dare you interrupted us."
I glance up with a bored expression and tilt my head at Cassim.
"You sweet angry thing...I'm actually hear to help. You don't need those things he plans on offering you. Look around you at all the people that are following you. As soon as it gets out that the current king planned on selling his people into slavery you'll have even more to follow you. Imagine the numbers of angry citizens you wouldn't even need these weapons."

Cassim quietly observed me and glanced at his group they nodded and he directed his attention back to me.
"And who would be spreading this?"

I smiled and looked down at Ithnan to notice a slight red tint and I smirked at him as I fully sat on his stomach.
"Alibaba of course."

*earlier*
"Miss wait up!"
I turn to see Alibaba chasing after me.
"Actually I need to speak with you so this is perfect."

Alibaba stopped and tilted his head
"What about?"

I smile at him and cross my arms.
"I need you to spread to everyone you can of what the kings plan was it's the only way I can guide Cassim away from using drastic measures. If he knows he will have numbers his current plan won't even become a thing."

Alibaba frowned
"Can I ask what his plan was?"
I pat him on his head
"You may but I won't tell you because it won't come to pass so there's no need to worry about it. Now get to it kiddo ralley your people and let's guide the people of Balbaad to a brighter future."

I watch Alibaba run off with a determined look on his face. I feel like a proud mother and I plan on guiding these kids when I can especially when it's needed.

*present time*
I look down at Ithnan and tilt my head as I reach out to hook a finger under his mask.
I pause to see if he'll stop me and when he doesn't I remove it to see the blush on his face.
"Cute...now Ithnan if I gave you an out..would you take it or are you truly dedicated to arba and Al Thamen?"

Ithnan stared at me before blinking and opening his mouth before closing it. He was clearly trying to think of the best response.
I lean forward my lips touching the lobe of his ear.
"I want an honest answer not the one you think I'd like to hear."
I lean back up watching the red spread over his face. He really is cute but I don't think he'll turn completely against Arba even though I wish he would, after all he was one of my favorites.
"I assume you want me to team up with that singularity."

I tilt my head and smirk
"Well that is an idea but no I'd rather you at my side cause if you do one thing around Sinbad that Jafar finds fishy it's your head. At least with me you wouldn't have to worry about that."

His eyes widen
"With...you?"
I nod my head and smile as I pat his cheek softly.
"Yes with me...I'd rather you not die for some dumb woman's petty revenge against her creator."

Ithnan closed his eyes in thought and sat up causing me to slide into his lap. He looks down at me and I return his stare.
"Hmmm very well but if you disapoint me I will leave and go back to Al Thamen."
I tap his lower lip with my finger watching the red come back to his cheeks making me smile.
"Sounds fair to me...hopefully I don't disappoint you."

I stand up and turn to leave but not before glancing at him and then the bag of weapons.
"Get rid of those abominations."
Ithnan looks at the weapons and grabs them before slaming the bag against the ground shattering the weapons. He walks over to me and I pull him to me and kiss him on his cheek.
"Good boy!"
I grin as his face grows red once more before I turn away with a happy smile.

I can't wait to see Sinbads face when I bring Ithnan along and oh Judar heh his will be even more priceless.

Chapter 2: Just a little Scheming

Summary:

Certain events happen and reader decides to be a bit more threatening.

I've labeled the character lily just so I can write more cohesively due to my brain being weird but you can go with whatever name you want since her name will not frequently be used.

Any intimate scenes I write in the future will be left ambiguous in regards to gender so anyone can enjoy them.

As Ithnan and I walk back to the hotel everyone was staying at I looked around and frowned there was so much poverty and it angered me that this once prosperous kingdom was reduced to almost nothing because they put that fool on the throne.

"I'm still going to punch that fat pigglet in the face."
Ithnan glanced at me and gave me a sly smirk.
"The King?"
I scoff "That thing doesn't deserve such a title. A King is nothing without his subjects and he willingly sacrificed them for his own greed."

Ithnan hummed in thought. "Have you thought of capturing a dungeon?"
I pause and turn to him quirking an eyebrow.
"Maybe...I would be lying if I said the idea didn't pass through my head a few times."

Ithnan leaned forward as he stepped into my space. "Do you want to?"
I hum as I cross my arms, once again glancing around.
"Yes...more than one. If I can surpass the amount of Djinns that Sinbad has that would be ideal."

Ithnan burst out in laughter, genuine laughter. Even in the anime he never laughed like this, it caused a smile to break out on to my face.
"Lofty goals, I'm sure Judar would love to help you with that."

I hum and turn my head as a loud ruckus got my attention.
"Ah it's that incident."
I glance at Ithnan, he seemed curious about my comment and I smirk.
"Come I have people to help."

Ithnan nods and follows behind me as we turn I spot Judar taunting the group.
"ANY CIVILLAINS PRESENT LEAVE THIS AREA NOW."
My voice projected and some of them shift Judar turns and glance at Ithnan behind me.
I stepped forward and grabbed a man and I hissed
"I said now..."
The civilians present scattered and I circled around to stand with the kids, Ithnan following, making Judar narrow his eyes.
"So...are you betraying the organization?"
Before he could speak I pat his cheek and stare straight at Judar.
"In a way, you could say I'm quite persuasive...Judar."

Judar blinked at me and laughed manically.
"You...you're the one they warned me about aren't you?"

I waved my hand dismissively
"I have no idea what your talking about but sure. Why? Is Arba feeling threatened?"
Ithnan looked at me, an eyebrow raised.

Judar cackled again and grinned.
"Threatend! Now why should she be worried about an ant like you."

I hummed and patted Aladdins head making him smile.
"Because I know more than she does, because I can uproot their entire plans. Which by the way I will do and because I have a proposition for you as well."

Sinbad stepped in not pleased one bit that I seem to be acting friendly with Judar.
"That is not a wise idea Lily."

I rolled my eyes and waved the king off.
"Oh hush Sinbad, I'm fully aware of what he's capable of I don't need you lecturing me."

Sinbad had a look of shock before shaking his head and opened his mouth to try and lecture me again. I whip around to face him and poked his chest aggressively.
"You mind yourself Highness, I have knowledge that can and will be useful and if you want it you are going to mind your buisness and let me handle myself."
I heard Jafar snicker and say 'she would make a good quren for you' both me and Sinbad ignore the comment. Sinbad stepped back and blinked at me as I turned around.
"Now then I will not be discussing the proposition at this time I'm sure you can find me when ever it fits your fancy. I've done what I needed to do, got the innocent out of the path of the chaos that you are going to make. But fore warning you will lose this fight your picking and when your unconscious I suggest you heed the advice you are given instead of being a brat about it. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to pay a visit to that little piglet. Ithnan!"

I walk past Judar with Ithnan following before Alibaba stops me.
"Is this one of the things you mentioned you won't interfere with."

I glance over my shoulder and smile sadly.
"Yes, it is. It is necessary and don't worry too much everything will end up being okay."
Alibaba nodded and I continue walking. We got a few blocks away before Aladdin was forced to summon Ugo causing me to turn around and look at the giant Djinn in the distance and I snickered.

"Well I did warn him he'd lose he should have listened and weighed his options before following orders like a dog."
Ithnan glanced back and then to me
"What do you mean."
I smirk at him
"That's Uraltugo, they know him as Ugo! You remember that name don't you?"

Ithnan turned fully to take the raging Ugo in and opened is mouth only to close it again.
"That blue haired boy...Aladdin...he's from Solomons line. I'm sure you can peace together why Ugo is with him."

Ithnan nods his head and we continue to the palace. As we enter I glance at the guards and sigh the one I'm looking for I don't see. I walk over to one of the guards greeting him.
"I'm looking for Barkak, is it possible for me to see him. I have something important to discuss with him."

The guard looks me over and than at Ithnan before nodding and guiding me to a room and leaving us there. A few minutes later Barkak comes in and looks at me with a knowing look.
"And what is so important at this hour that you need to disturb me?"

I smile and cross my legs as I lean back in the seat I'm in.
"Other than that Alibaba will come to a decision to make Balbaad a democracy? I don't trust your little piglet King, I know he won't try and fix his mess, he'll make excuses. He has no moral grounds, nor does he care about the people of this kingdom. Tell me has he visited the Banker in the dungeons?

Barkak gives me a more serious and thoughtful look before walking around and sitting in the opposite seat.
"You seem to know alot. Yes he did visit the Banker."

I hum and lean my chin into my hand.
"Did he make the guards leave?"

I watched Barkak nod his head causing me to stand. "Take me to the Bankers cell."
Barkak eyed me before standing and leading us to the dungeons. We walked until we came upon the Bankers cell.
"Well don't you look comfortable!"

His cell was more like a cushy hotel room than a cell making me disgusted.
He chuckled and leaned back against the pillows and throws he was currently laying on.
"The King is generous."

I hum "of course he is...generous and a filthy little lying pigglet."

I glance at Barkak "can you let me in the cell?"
Barkak unlocks the cell and I walk in as he locks it back.
I stalk towards the Banker as he sits up rigidly.
I chuckle darkly as I grab the collar of his clothes and yank him up.
"Now you are going to tell me what you and the little pigglet discussed or I'm going to show you a darker side of me."

The banker let's out a laugh making me quirk an eyebrow before I slam him against a wall.
"I won't ask again however I will inform I have immense knowledge of the human body and know exactly which parts to break to cause immense pain. I know where the areas are that I can easily tear to let you bleed out. Now what did you two discuss."

His eyes widen and he glanced at Ithnan who was smirking.
"Don't look at me, I'm liking her more and more. I won't be helping you."

The Banker let's out a shuddering sigh and looks back at me.
"He won't be listening to you or the Singularity."

I let go of him and smile mischievously.
"I figured as much I just wanted to hear it."
I turn and Barkak opens the cell for me to exit.
"I want to make a visit to your King I do not care if he is asleep I want him up."
Barkak eyes me
"He is still a king."
I hum "where I am from our military takes an oath to the people not our government if you can not guide your king or dipose him I will before I watch this kingdom suffer further. No you can either let me beat some sense into the idiot or escort me out your call."

I watch as he thinks it over and sighs
"I will take you, I will not interfere but do not kill him."

I hum "as much as this kingdom would be better off with him dead I do not fancy a cell."

He turns and we follow. We find ourselves outside a beautiful ornate door and I kick it in making the king shoot up from bed blinking in confusion.
"Hello little piggy, I hear you plan on disregarding what you and the King of Sindria discussed and my advice."

As I spoke realization dawned on him, he went to scream for the guards but before he could I rushed over and grabbed some cloth shoving it into his mouth.
"Non of that pigglet, now I can be very nice but I can also make you wish you you were dead. Either you can stay to your word about correct your mess or I can beat you within an inch of your life. Which will it be shake your head yes for fixing your mess or no for a beating of your life."

I watch as he frantically shakes his head yes and I pat his cheek.
"Good, no keep to word because if you don't trust me I will know and it won't be a beating you recieve but your head. Do you understand me?"

He shakes his head yes again and I notice he's pissed himself and I laugh.
"Good pigglet, now go back to sleep."

I leave the room and gesture to Ithnan to follow and we leave the palace and I grin.
"Well that was fun and it seems they are done with their fight."
Ithnan glances towards the direction Ugo was at early and than back at me.
"So where to now?"

I smile and start walking as he falls in step with me.
"Back to the hotel I have a feeling Sinbad has a huge lecture for me. But my main goal is to check up on the kids."

We walk in silence until we reach the hotel and I spy Sinbad and Jafar waiting for us and they both level me with a distrusting look and I scoff.
I walk towards them and cross my arms.
"So distrustful even though my goal is to prevent as much bloodshed as possible."

Sinbad steps forward and glares at me, well that's kind of hot.
"You knew Aladdin would get hurt, you knew Ugo would vanish. Why would you allow that to happen?"

I tilt my head and smile.
"Now why would I prevent him getting Solomons wisdom?"
Sinbad's glare vanished, replaced with a look of suprise.
"What!?"
I laugh a bit
"That's why I didn't step in, plus those kids need to learn sometimes you need to pick your battles...they'll have plenty of learning lessons for that. Judar also needed to get his ass handed to him it won't fully humble him but he'll learn he isn't invincible."

Jafar watched Ithnan before giving me his attention.
"And what of him?"
I smile softly at Jafar
"Ithnan? Oh he's just my precious buddy. I also enjoy pissing Arba off, I'm sure that organization and it's head are aware one member is in a cell and the other has switched sides for now."
I glance at Ithnan
"Speaking of...what do you think so far?"

Ithnan hummed and walked forward before wrapping his arms around my waist.
"I like this one, she's entertaining and has lofty goals that I want to help her with. Much more entertaining than the organization. So I think...I will stay with her."

I snicker a bit and nudge his head with mine.
"Am I hearing you're going full traitor?"
I hear him softly laugh
"Yes, she will not be happy."

I hum "don't worry about her, I plan on putting her in her place before she gets her hands on what she wants."

I glance at Sinbad at notice an odd pout on his face.
"Awww what's wrong Sin? Are you upset he gets to hang on me and you dont?"

I hear Jafar chuckle again as Sinbad stands up straight and adverts his eyes.
"I wonder...Jafar if men can have harems what of women?"
Ithnan chuckles as Jafar gives me a thoughtful look.
"It has never happend but there is no law against it. Why?"

I snicker and look over Sinbad.
"Hmmm I wonder why indeed. Come Ithnan I need to check on the kids I'm sure they're shaken."
Ithnan nods and let's go of me, he glances back at Sinbad taking note of the irritated look he was giving him and smirks before following behind me.

Notes:

There will be a lot of tension between reader and Sinbad because of the knowledge reader holds and doesn't want to let him know everything.
But reader will not view him as an enemy, at somepoint he will see them as an ally...maybe more.

Chapter 3: I done goofed

So unfortunately I did a big goof and I lost the whole chapter so I have to rewrite it so the next chapter will be delayed.
