Chapter Text
“Why are you even wearing heels on a mission?” Cecilia huffs as she hears Gigi’s voice through the earpiece. They were on a mission, located at some anonymous party and has been accused of having suspicious activity.
Cecilia wore a dark green dress, a black vest to cover up her arms, hiding her automaton features.
Also wearing a bunny mask to cover her upper face.
“Ignore her, she’s just jealous that she has to stay behind and look outside for evidence.” Elizabeth says as she scans through the crowd, and sighing in annoyance as she adjusts her catlike mask.
The red haired girl herself wore casual black pants and a black blouse.
“Liz, we’ve been here for two hours, I’ve seen nothing out of the ordinary.” The red haired woman turning her way as Cecilia speaks. Elizabeth checks her watch and opens her mouth to respond but Raura’s voice beats her to it.
“Girls? There are two persons blocking the woman’s restroom and arguing with the people that try to get in.”
Cecilia turns around and sees two girls walking away, one of them flipping off the other two.
Both wearing fully black, one has a hood on and the other has full white hair, the masks hiding their faces completely.
“I can’t really see anything other than the restrooms but if you open the door I my all seeing eyes could look further.”
And with that they start walking towards said door.
When they get near, the hooded person notices and gestures to the other to get inside the room.
“Only one person at a time.” Elizabeth frowns, stepping closer towards the door but gets halted, “The other woman first!”
At that Cecilia looks up at Elizabeth and she nods, stepping back. Cecilia opens the door and enters the room, the door behind her immediately closing.
The first thing she notices is the strong smell of gasoline. The second thing is that the white haired person is leaning against the wall, opposite of her direction.
“You got here earlier than expected.” The person moved from the wall walking closer.
“Yeah, my boss let me out of work earlier so thought I could come immediately afterwards.” Cecilia lied as she tried to come off relaxed.
The person stops walking, two steps away.
“I see you’re busy as always.”
Cecilia’s breath hitches, surprised that the lame escuse worked. Her breath hitches again as she suddenly gets slammed by something in the face, making her vision turn black as she hits the ground.
“Fuck.” Cecilia curses as she rubs her eyes, hearing ruckus from the other side of the door.
She feels a hand on her throat, pushing her against the ground, making her grab the hand in response.
“How dumb have these junkies become,” Cecilia groans as she hears them talking, trying to push her off. “Could’ve atleast hid your key.”
Cecilia shudders as she feels her key being touched, and gasps as it is forced to stop spinning.
The effects are immediate, making her feel weakened. She tries to push the other woman but her arms give out and apparently her body does too as it stops working.
…
Cecilia feels her key slowly spinning, her body starting to warm as the cogs are working again.
She hears murmuring in the background but she can’t focus on it, shivering as her body tries to get her energy back.
“Justice? More like fucking idiots.” Is the first thing she hears followed by a familiar snort.
Cecilia opens her eyes, and squints as her vision isn’t returned.
“Gigi, aren’t you atleast a little weirded out?” She hears Raura say.
The next words come from an unfamiliar voice, but they sure made her key hitch.
“Did you guys really never think that she would’ve had prototypes?”
Cecilia tries to sit up, feeling a hand on her shoulder gently pushing her down, “Hey, let yourself get to fully working first.” She hears the same voice say.
“I can’t see anything.” Cecilia says as she brings her hands to her face, trying to feel if her faceplate is damaged.
“It will return, give it a few minutes.” And coincidentally when Cecilia heard that, her eyes started working again.
She stares at her own face, lacking the green eyes and green strands of hair, instead replaced with white.
The key on her head also lacks.
She moves her gaze, noticing that they’re outside nearby the bus they came with.
Cecilia meets herself again talking with Liz, this one with red appearances.
“Did I accidentally drink lighter fuel again?”
The women next her chuckles, and she moves her gaze to her.
“How do you do that accidentally?”
Cecilia hears Gigi snickering, “I poured it once in her tea because she said sniffing it makes her high.”
Cecilia sighs, feeling a headache coming up.
“Immergreen right? I heard Immerred say that you’re one of the newer models.” The woman stands up and dusts herself off, offering Cecilia a hand.
She grabs it.
She feels herself, literally, hoisting her up.
“Are… are there more Cecilia’s?” She murmurs, rubbing her head. The automaton feels tired, the sight not sinking into her data, making it feel like some kind of fever dream.
“Yeah, a whole lot actually, I’m surprised you didn’t know, the woman points to herself while smiling, “I’m Cecilia Immerwhite! The other Cecilia is Immerred.”
The girl then moves her hand behind her head scratching it sheepishly, “Also sorry for hitting you, I thought that you were the suspect of our mission.” Immerwhite says ashamed.
“How did she lose her vision though? That’s never happened before and she has taken quite some brunts before but nothing really happened.” Liz stepped in, followed by Immerred.
Immerred apparently does have a key, hers being grey.
“We know how our bodies work and made weapons to take other Cecilia’s easier out.” And it made Cecilia more confused than she already is and opens her mouth.
“Why would you do that?” Immerred grabs a tiny vial filled with some red substance from her pocket.
“This is RP-1, some form of kerosine, a strong fuel for rockets.”
Cecilia doesn’t really look at the object, more interested as to how her hands look more machinery and the same grey as her key.
“Cecilia’s get high by fuels, this one addictive as heroine, and it makes them agressive, dangerous.”
She puts the vial back into her pocket and sighing loudly as she glares at Elizabeth. “We would’ve had them finally captured if you hadn’t decided to intervene.”
Elizabeth shrugs, “I didn’t know that there was some other organisation already working behind this.” And that receives a shout from Immerwhite.
“That’s because were an illegal organisation!”
Immerred bonks her shoulder in response, hissing, “You’re making it sound like we’re fucking criminals.”
The white haired woman moves away, rubbing her offended shoulder and says, “You mean Immercriminals.”
Gigi starts cackling.
Immerred slaps her hand to her face.
“Organisation, so you have a whole group with Cecilia’s?”
Immerred turns her head towards Cecilia, smirks missing one tooth. “More like a nation.”
Suddenly the sound of an engine fills the place, lights shining as a black appears in sight. The driver rolls the window down and peeks her head out, another Cecilia, this one being brown.
“How did you girls mess up when we’ve come this far?!” She shouts.
Immerwhite walks towards the car, “It was fun meeting you guys!” Followed by Immered, and opens the car door but hesitates.
She then grabs something, and moves back to Cecilia, handing her a card with numbers.
“If you’d ever like to.. you know take a peek at our place just hit me up with a text and I’ll take you there.”
They hear someone whistle, followed by honking and both girls look towards the source.
“Charmer!”
Immerred scowls as she walks back to the car. “Fucking Immershit” Cecilia hears her mutter before entering the car and leaving the four girls.
“A whole nation- shouldn’t we be worried?” Elizabeth says, breaking the silence.
“I’m more worried of how we never noticed.” Raura says before walking up to Cecilia and putting her hand on her shoulder.
“So you planning on visiting?” She hears the panther say, and it makes her look back at the card.
“Well duh, of course she would, who wouldn’t after getting hit up by such a hottie.”
“Gigi, shut up!”
