Operation: Take Dad to Meet Mom (and Hope They Don’t Duel)

Summary:

in 1978, a kid appeared in Nurmengard.

Agarth: “Dad, why didn’t you tell me Mom was a beautiful old lady with a mustache?”
Grindelwald: “The word is handsome, Agarth.”
Agarth: “Okay, but why didn’t you say she was a pretty little handsome guy, then?”

When Dumbledore’s name appears in the Hogwarts admission book tied to a child… he shows up to deliver the letter personally. Only to find himself face to face with a child—boy? girl? gremlin?—with blue eyes, fiery red hair, and zero understanding of personal space.

Agarth: “Mom, your beard looks amazing! Can I have it?”
(rips it off magically)
Agarth: “Look, Dad! Now your beard and Mom’s beard can be together forever. Like soulmates. Like me and chaos. Isn’t that romantic?”

Dumbledore: (…)
Grindelwald: (…help)

This is the chaotic tale of a possibly schizophrenic child who may or may not have been born from magic, fire, and spite—now dead set on helping his dad win back his “mom.”
Mostly daily life. Very little plot. A lot of weird, magical family drama.

Chapter Text

Austria, Nurmengard, 1978.

At this time, the sun, which had not yet set, shone with a little orange afterglow on the top of the tower in Nurmengard.

As a red light flashed from the top of the tower, the sun set and the sky gradually turned gray.

The woman in the dark green satin wizard robe looked at the child in the small cradle and said, "Gellert, although the Muggle's artificial incubation operation was successful, you can't be sure whether this child can become a wizard."

"No, Vinda." Grindelwald, who was standing next to the baby's cradle, lowered his eyes and said lightly, "He must be a wizard. The first time I saw him, I saw the distant future."

At this time, the baby in the cradle, who had not yet woken up from the previous explosion, could only hear some familiar English words, such as "Gellert, Wenda, wizard, Muggle."

Beautiful! Hard mode loaded successfully!

My Restarted Life: The First Thing I Saw was Gellert "Hard Start Mode, How to Deal with the Master of Legilimency?"

《Hello, my friend, come and conquer Muggles with me! 》

Song Chung, who is familiar with the Harry Potter masterpiece, howled with saliva. Although everyone wants to wait for their own owl when they reach the right age, this does not mean that Song Chung wants to travel to such a world full of killing curse! !

"Well, little one, welcome to the wizarding world." Grindelwald suddenly came close to Song Chung and gently kissed him on the forehead. "Of course, I hope you can understand English, so that we can communicate better, right?"

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, I’m dirty, I’m dirty, I’m dirty, he insulted me with his saliva!!!!!” Song Chung screamed madly. Although he couldn’t understand English, it didn’t matter, this old man was insulting people, insulting people with his saliva!!

“Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!” the piercing howl pierced Grindelwald’s ears, and Vinda Rosier at the side curled her lips and laughed.

"Gellert, you can't expect a child to control himself from crying." Vinda reached out and patted Song Chung's little chest to comfort him, "Oh well, it seems that he doesn't like others touching him."

Under the humiliation of being insulted with saliva and having his chest touched by giant hands, Song Chung's magic power erupted.

After the baby cradle was destroyed by a powerful red vortex, the surrounding air suddenly fell into a state of stagnation and distortion.

Grindelwald stretched out his right hand and waved it, and the distorted and terrifying magic was confined to a small circle. "It seems that my little friend has proved to us that he is a very capable little wizard."

After saying that, a silver medicine bottle floated out from the cabinet nearby. Grindelwald moved his fingers, and the liquid in the bottle formed a beautiful parabola and accurately hit the howling throat of little Song Chung.

“Waaaaaaah… cough cough cough.” Attack! Revenge! Too much! Too much! Too much! Song Chung had never seen a pig run, but he had eaten pork. He also knew that this medicine was probably used to stabilize his magic riot. 'However, I’m a baby, a cute, soft, and floppy little baby. Everyone knows how to feed a baby! ! ! !'

As the bottle of potion was empty, the red vortex around Song Chung gradually calmed down. Song Chung, who had finally calmed down, looked at Grindelwald who was looking at him with his head tilted.

Suddenly he grinned 'You deserve it, no wonder Dumbledore's favorite is not you, you are not as gentle as Newt, nor as cheerful as Potter, you deserve it!!' Of course, Song Chung couldn't say these words now, and could only utter a series of screams.
At the same time, Grindelwald, who had been looking into Song Chung's eyes and was well versed in telepathy, looked grim.

"Kaka, prepare a bottle for Agarth. I think he likes goat milk very much, right?"

'Who said that? Who said that? ! You bastard, you bastard, you bastard!' Agarth, who vomited violently whenever he drank goat milk, wailed.

As Grindelwald finished speaking, a short and thin house-elf wearing tattered sheets, with huge pupils, appeared next to Song Chung.

"Yes, Kaka will prepare it right away. Kaka will take good care of young master Agarth." After Kaka said that, he stared at Song Chung again, snapped his fingers and disappeared in front of Song Chung.

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa” 'You’re going to die a horrible death! You deserve to not be able to get a wife! You deserve to be abandoned by your wife! You deserve to…' Before Song Chung could finish his scolding, Grindelwald narrowed his eyes and smiled.

"Children should just keep their mouths shut more often."

“……” Song Chung couldn’t howl anymore.

“……” He opened his mouth and screamed again, but still no sound came out.
Song Chung opened his mouth and finally looked at Grindelwald pitifully: 'I was wrong.'

"Then, can we talk quietly?" Grindelwald moved closer to Song Chung and held him in his arms. "Although you can't speak, it seems that you know that I can see what you are thinking. Agarth Albus Grindelwald, this is your name, my child (Agarth heard 'kiss')."

Song Chung, should be called Agarth.
Agarth understood. 'This English sentence means I have a name now, but what does my kiss mean? My kiss? Damn it? Are you going to insult me with his mouth again?'

Agarth's face darkened for a moment, and then he looked at Grindelwald, who was smiling brightly, and his toothless gums tightened. 'Old! Man! At worst, I'll give you a kiss and then pull out your beard.'
Thinking of this, Agarth closed his eyes, waiting for the another insult.

"..." Grindelwald felt that his life had never been so short, "Kid! Kid! I'm talking about a child, not a kiss!!!"

“Waaaaa!” 'Why didn’t you say so earlier!' Agarth threatened with his eyes wide open, 'causing me to misunderstand.'

"Agarth, I hope that before you can speak, you can learn your English well, at least, it will not affect our daily communication."

Grindelwald took a deep breath and handed Agarth to Vinda, who had been watching the drama for a long time. "I think you will definitely help me with this, Vinda."

"Of course." Vinda smiled and performed a ladylike manner, taking Agarth as she stood up. "For the greater good."

For the greater good.

"Waaaaaa!" 'I understand this!' Agarth yawned and fell into sleep.

"Take this little monster to rest." Grindelwald turned to look at the bright moon in the darkness, waved his hand and asked Vinda to leave first.

'Albus, see you again in eleven years.'

'I hope it doesn't scare you.'

Baby Agarth finally take dad's beard

Chapter Text

Nurmengard Castle, Austria, 1986.

On the first floor of the castle, on a small stool at the lower left corner of the kitchen counter, Agarth was eating with his face greasy, his calves dangling and a huge piece of meat in his hand.

"Kaka, do you think Aunt Vinda will bring me the wand?" Agarth tore off a piece of meat fiercely. Although the old Englishman Grindelwald, oh, the old man could not always express himself well, Agarth heard the word "wand" clearly.

"Kaka, Kaka doesn't know either." Kaka, who stood up and was as tall as Agarth, stroked the tattered pillowcase with both hands and blinked his big eyes, "Little Master Agarth, you can't...can't eat anymore. The old master will scold you when he sees that you can't eat. It's all Kaka's fault, it's all Kaka's fault."

Kaka screamed and banged his head against the stove. "Kaka shouldn't have roasted dragon legs for the little master at this time. It's all Kaka's fault, all Kaka's fault."

Agarth wiped the oil off his face with his clothes, licked his lips, and looked at the roasted dragon leg in his hand reluctantly. It was really delicious. The dragon's leg was marinated with special nectar sauce for a day and then roasted for another day. It was really delicious.

'Damn Grindelwald, damn the dictator, damn the culture of serving meals at set times, damn German rubbish food, it's really disgusting.'

"Okay then, but can this be my afternoon tea?" Agarth held up the remaining roasted dragon leg in his hand and licked his lips.

"Of course, Kaka will definitely satisfy you and prepare your favorite Muggle food for you." Kaka stopped banging his head against the wall, turned around and snapped his fingers, and the roasted dragon leg in Agarth's hand disappeared.

Agarth looked at his empty hands, pursed his lips, and let out a long sigh. Suddenly, as if he remembered something, he jumped down from the small stool.

He ran excitedly to the study on the third floor.
"Dad, dad, dad, when will Aunt Vinda come back?" Agarth rushed forward and hugged Grindelwald who was sitting on the sofa.
"Agarth, do you know that you are eight years old?" Grindelwald put down the Daily Prophet in his hand and looked indifferently at the huge thing in his arms.

"Yes, yes, eight years old. In three years, I will receive letters from Hogwarts." Agarth rubbed his face in Grindelwald's arms excitedly, and hugged Grindelwald tightly with both hands, "I will be able to see my mother~"

"I'm sorry, but you have to know that Albus doesn't know you exist." Grindelwald raised his eyebrows, moved his left hand slightly, and the giant thing stuck to his body suddenly froze.

"Besides, washing hands after eating is something that every Asians should do, right?"
As soon as the words fell, Agarth was lifted into the air motionlessly, and a large bucket of clear water fell from the sky and landed accurately on Agarth.

"Washing makes it cleaner, but rubbing won't make it clean."

"..." Agarth widened his eyes and cursed in his heart, but he was unable to move his body. He could only hope to defeat the old man in front of him mentally.

Grindelwald looked at the child in front of him who only seemed particularly quiet when he closed his mouth, twitched his mouth slightly, and then put him down.

"Since I promised to give you the magic wand, Vinda will definitely bring it to you. However, Agarth, I hope you can get rid of the constraints of the magic wand and better experience the charm of wandless casting."

"Is the magic you're talking about the electric current that passes through my blood and is transmitted to my fingertips?" Agarth rubbed his face that was hit by the water flow, raised his right hand towards Grindelwald's face, "Cut it off!"

Agarth clearly felt the vibrations in his body, which were then transmitted to his fingertips through his right arm. A red light was emitted from his fingertips and hit Grindelwald's face accurately. Well, to be precise, it should be the lower half of his face, the beard.

'Beautiful! I'll pull out your beard if I say so!' Agarth was secretly delighted, and then he moved his body and suddenly appeared in front of Grindelwald, catching the shaved beard.

Then he quickly stuffed his dry silver beard into the ring with the untraceable extension spell that Vinda had given him as a birthday gift this year.

Grindelwald thought Agarth could not cast the spell and was going to use this failure to teach Agarth a lesson. However, he watched his beard being shaved off and then he shouted angrily, "The spell has not been verified, how can you use it casually!"

Grindelwald took a deep breath. "There is no shortage of smart geniuses in this world, but more geniuses die from the spells they developed."

"Agarth, you have to promise me that if you use unknown spells again, someone must be with you. I don't want to see my bloodline die in stupid experiments." Grindelwald squatted down and stared into Agarth's eyes seriously. "In your past, the world you saw may be just a small microcosm, not the whole wizarding world. I don't want you to look at the real world with the eyes of the future, which will make you fall hard."

Agarth nodded blankly, as if an elder had said this to him in the past, but for some reason the impression gradually blurred and only became the appearance of the person in front of him.
"Well, Dad, can you give me your beard?"

Changing the subject, Agarth tentatively put forward his humble request.

"What's the price?" Grindelwald narrowed his eyes. "You cut off my beard, and I'll cut off your hair."

"I don't..." Before Agarth could finish his words, his beautiful long red hair fell off his forehead with a "swish".

A few seconds later, Agarth looked at his bald, slippery forehead, and then looked at Grindelwald who was smiling beside him.

Suddenly he burst into tears. Agarth, who had just turned eighteen in his previous life and eight in this life, could no longer hold back his anger. He stretched out his right hand towards Grindelwald's forehead while crying, ready to chop him off again.

"I have to say, Agarth, your magic is very useful." Grindelwald waved his hand to control Agarth who was screaming at the moment, "Since you have learned how to use magic without telling me, then starting from tomorrow morning, get up on time at 8 o'clock. Our class is about to begin."

"Then I will teach you the first magic today, stupefy."
"......" 'You x@#$x. Before he fainted, the only thing that flashed through Agarth's mind was this classic curse, who the hell taught him that the first magic was a stun spell.
“Kaka.”

"Master, master." Kaka appeared in the corner of the study with his head hung.
"When did Agarth learn to cast spells without a wand?" Grindelwald carried Agarth and placed him on the recliner in the study.

"When the little master was six years old, he was frightened by the appearance of Abu and released Protego." Kaka raised his eyes and glanced nervously at the unconscious little master.

"The young master said he wanted to give you a surprise, and ordered Kaka not to tell the master. It's all Kaka's fault. Please, please don't blame the young master." After saying that, he slowly moved to the edge of the recliner and stretched out a slender arm to block Grindelwald's view of Agarth.

Grindelwald was silent for a moment, "Vinda is here, just wake this kid up and take him back to his room now."

"Yes, Master." Kaka replied, bending down, then stretched out his right hand to hold Agarth's small hand and disappeared into the room.

Chapter 3: Agarth's Reason

Summary:

Baby's 8th birthday 🎂

Chapter Text

When Agarth woke up again, he had missed dinner. Night had fallen and the entire castle was shrouded in the deep blue starry sky.

"Tempus." Agarth waved his right hand into the air.

“19:18”

'Damn it. Bastard Grindelwald.' Agarth thought to himself and cursed at the same time.

"Although I know you really want to duel with Gellert now, there's no need to curse out loud, right?" Vinda leaned back in the soft chair beside Agarth's bed, crossed her legs, and handed over a bottle of potion while flipping through the Daily Prophet in her hand.

"Aunt Vinda!" Agarth looked at Wenda in surprise, took the potion and shook it under his nose.

"What medicine is this time?"

"Hair growth potion, if you don't want to turn into Rapunzel..." Before Vinda could finish her words, she saw Agarth unscrew the cork and pour the medicine into his mouth.

"Hmm..." Just two sips will be enough, actually.

"Just what?" Agarth held up his wildly growing hair with both hands, blinked his big blue eyes resentfully, and looked at Vinda motionlessly.

"..." Vinda sometimes wondered if Agarth had only inherited Aberforth Dumbledore's recklessness and impulsiveness, and had not inherited the shrewdness and foresight from Gellert and Albus Dumbledore at all.

"Believe me, Agarth, you look more pleasing now than with short hair." Vinda said, raised her eyebrows, raised the wand in her right hand and began to trim Agarth's hair.

"Okay, take a look, doesn't it look better this way?" Vinda held up a water mirror and stood in front of Agarth.

In the mirror, a child with blue eyes, chubby cheeks, and shoulder-length red hair appeared. The child in the mirror frowned in pretend anger, grinned happily, or raised his right hand to make a "yeah" sign, muttering, "I'm so damn good-looking."

"Okay, get up." Vinda reached out and pulled Agarth up, then motioned him to look at the box on the desk in the room.

"Go and open the present Gellert gave you this year."

Agarth walked quickly to the table and sat down, looking at the long box decorated with dark blue wrapping paper in front of him, with a very personal note next to it.

"Bless my child."

"This is the wand that Gellert took from Abu on the day she showed up. He used the feather as the core of the wand and added elderberry to it. He asked Gregorovitch to make it for him."

Agarth looked at the dark brown, almost black wand in the box, touched the shaft, and took it out of the box.

"Lumos!" A bright bean-sized light emerged from the tip of the stick.

"Aunt Vinda! This is the best gift I have ever received. There is no wand more suitable for me than this one." The wand in Agarth's hand seemed to be able to feel the owner's excitement and shook its body as well.

"Abu! Abu!" As Agarth called Abu, a red light suddenly appeared in front of their eyes, and a red-feathered bird with intense flames flashed out.

"Chirp!" The red bird spread its wings, flew over Wenda and landed on Agarth's shoulder.

"Abu! Look! Your tail feathers are so full of life!" Agarth slightly bent his index finger and rubbed Abu's head.

"Chirp!" Abu tilted his head, looked at the wand in Agarth's hand with his eyes as big as rice grains, and then moved close to Agarth's face and rubbed it affectionately.

"Hahahahahahahaha, okay okay, I'll ask Kaka to make you some snacks later!"

"It's time to eat, my little master." Vinda raised his eyebrows, slightly raised the corners of her mouth, and motioned Agarth to go downstairs to eat.

"Aunt Vinda, has Gellert had his meal?" Agarth asked as he trotted towards the dining room.

"If Gellert has already eaten, can I apply not to eat potatoes? I can eat..." The excited Agarth saw Grindelwald already sitting at the head seat at the dining table, and his high-pitched voice gradually dropped until it became silent.

"Agarth, I'm really sorry that our dinner is grilled steak and sauerkraut potatoes." Grindelwald said slowly, picking up a piece of potato with a fork.

Yes, that's right, Grindelwald actually knows that Agarth doesn't like German food, but what Agarth doesn't like, Grindelwald likes it very much.

Who can blame poor Kaka for having to listen to his greatest master?

Grindelwald ate even more happily when he saw Agarth, who had grown hair.

Vinda, who was following Agarth closely, looked at the dinner on the table, then looked at Agarth's sad expression, and couldn't help laughing out loud.

"Gellert, there should be Chinese noodles tonight. After all, today is Agarth's birthday, right?"

Agarth heard it, raised his drooping head, and looked at Grindelwald with wide eyes in surprise.

"Really? Really? Is it Chinese longevity noodles? In my previous life, when I was eighteen years old, no one remembered to give me noodles! Do I really have noodles to eat?" As Agarth's voice became louder, the items on the table suddenly rose into the air uncontrollably.

"Yes, Agarth, don't be impulsive, calm down." Vinda watched the scene nervously, stretched out her right hand and slowly touched Agarth's head.

"Agarth, I taught you that you must learn to control your emotions and not let them dominate you." Grindelwald also put down his dining knife and stared at Agarth with eagle-like eyes.

"Hehe." Agarth touched his head sheepishly, looked at the objects rising around him, and slowly calmed down.

This is the power that comes from blood. Since the blood of Grindelwald and Dumbledore is too strong and grows very fast in Agarth's body, once Agarth cannot control his emotions, it is easy to cause a magical riot.

Moreover, since the blood symbol of the Dumbledore family, the Phoenix Abu, appeared when Agarth was six years old, the Dumbledore blood in Agarth's body became too strong, suppressing the power of Grindelwald's blood inheritance and destroying the balance of the two bloodlines in the body.

In fact, to put it simply, if Agarth was born normally from a mother's womb, he would have been a little wizard with extremely powerful innate magical powers.

However, Agarth was not conceived by a mother and lacked the mother's nourishment. Instead, he was born from the artificial breeding technology of Muggles + the blood of both parents + the eggs of magical animals. His body inherently lacks the ability to self-regulate and can only be forcibly regulated by consciousness.

Grindelwald looked at Agarth, who was gradually calming down, with appreciation, and then pointed at the dining table with his index finger. A series of sumptuous Eastern dishes replaced the Western food that looked unappetizing on the table just now.

"Kaka went to the Muggle city specifically to learn how to make these dishes. Let's eat them."

Agarth looked at his favorite dishes on the table, such as braised spareribs, braised chicken, rice, soup, etc., as well as the longevity noodles for his birthday, and suddenly grinned at Grindelwald.

Then he buried his head and began to enjoy it with a grunt.

Although Grindelwald can be forceful at times, he is the best person in the world to Agarth.

This is a reason why Agarth is willing to stay in this world, okay?

Chapter 4: Song Chung

Summary:

Baby's past memory

Chapter Text

"Song Chung!" a loud shout came from behind.

The moment Song Chung turned around, a huge fist rushed into his left eye socket with a "swish".

Before Song Chung could react, another punch came at his chin. Song Chung dodged and moved back to the side, then raised his right hand and swung forward.

"A sneak attack is not something a member of the Song family would do." The visitor was angered by Song Chung's words.

"You dirty fellow, if it weren't for Grandpa protecting you, I would have killed you, a bastard."

"I warned you not to mention this word in front of me." Song Chung punched the man in the stomach. A flash of blood rushed to his eyeballs, dyeing Song Chung's entire eye sockets red.

"Bastard, get out of the Song family!"

"Bastard!"

"Bastard!"

"Shut up!" A righteous roar came from Agarth's mouth while he was sleeping. Kaka, who was standing aside, looked nervously at the little master on the bed.

"Master, the young master said something in Chinese." Kaka looked at Grindelwald who was preparing a potion next to him.

"Kaka, wake him up." Grindelwald stirred the potion in the pot while flipping through the book at hand. 'There was a problem with the magic stabilizing potion. I don't know if it was because Agarth took too much. Recently, Agarth's demand for stabilizing potions has increased.

What exactly was the problem?' Grindelwald frowned and closed his eyes to think, but he found that his innate ability could not tell him the answer.

In the future scene, all you can see is Agarth wearing a Hogwarts school robe and standing next to the old bastard, smiling innocently.

'Bastard, this little bastard has never smiled at me like this before.' Grindelwald exhaled angrily and angrily put the potion, which had already entered the final stage, into the bottle.

"Master, the little master won't wake up no matter how much we call him." Kaka grabbed the tattered clothes on his chest, worried and scared, and said to Grindelwald tremblingly.

"Get out of the way." Grindelwald stretched out his right hand towards Agarth, and a stream of water appeared from the air with a "puff!" sound and shot into Agarth's cursing mouth. The water flow did not stop until the water flowed out of his mouth and Agarth made a choking sound, as if waking up from a dream.

"Cough cough cough." Agarth opened his eyes wide in a daze, coughing and pointing his index finger at Grindelwald in a reproachful manner.

"Old man, you are committing murder! Murder!"

"If I don't wake you up, you'll fight with someone in your sleep, and die from exhaustion of magic power." Grindelwald snorted coldly and looked at Agarth, who was lying on the bed without any elegance.

'The more I look at this kid, the more he looks like that old fool Aberforth. He hasn't inherited Albus's handsomeness at all.'

"Hehehehehe, so you were saving me, why didn't you say it earlier? Otherwise, I misunderstood you." Agarth recalled the scene in his dream and smiled awkwardly.

'According to my understanding of myself, if I continue this dream, my magic power may really go riot. Damn it, my temper is really hard to control.' Agarth thought, and then thought of his body in this life, which is also quite strange. It is different from that of normal humans. It is normal to suddenly feel out of control.

After all, there are no normal people in this magical world!

'Although, I am not a normal person, but when I think about it this way, hehe,' Agarth really feels that he is a perfect match for this world!

After all, this is a world that treats human life as worthless, and a random Avada Kedavra curse can bring a person's life to an end.

Although Agarth only lived to the age of eighteen in his previous life and died in the Song family laboratory, everything went as he had imagined. The data of the entire laboratory, including those so-called experimental talents, *bang!* With just a simple loud noise, all the data flew in the red flames.

The Song family is a disgusting human-making factory. The people who can be seen in the open are the so-called successful human experiments, while the ones that cannot be seen, such as Song Chung, who can only be trapped in the laboratory and used as a subject for experiments, are the so-called failed experiments.

The Song family is committed to transforming human blood, hoping to find the most suitable secret for human longevity and health through the combination of human and animal species. Song Chung is the only one who survived among the experimental subjects.

Of course, it is what the Song family calls a "bastard", which is quite consistent with the description.

Perhaps fate was too kind to Song Chung. As he grew older, his family discovered that the blood in his body had mutated, which would have a further impact on the development of human race research. So with Song Chung's limited life span, he could only stay in the laboratory, where people frantically took blood samples from him.

However, because Song Chung was too special, the Song family's care for Song Chung also led to their death.

An entire family was burned to death in the laboratory.

Perhaps in this life, maybe God really thought that Agarth had done good things in his previous life, so he rewarded him with a world suitable for the survival of a madman.

"What are you thinking about? Drink it. I need to think about how to help you learn to control your magic." Grindelwald handed the bottle of medicine in his hand to Agarth, looked at Agarth's ruddy face, and breathed a sigh of relief after confirming that he was in good health.

"Dad, this potion is grape-flavored. It's delicious." Agarth squinted his big eyes in comfort as the sweet taste of the potion moistened his mouth.

"But to control my magic power, you just need to teach me how to cast spells, so that my magic power won't go riot because it's too much."

"Idiot! You are not yet an adult. Using magic carelessly will cause the depletion of magic power, which will make it easier for you to become a Squib." Grindelwald glared at Agarth, annoyed at his carelessness.

"But you reminded me, if my memory serves me correctly, there is something that can help you control your magic power."

However, the owner of that thing is in England.

Grindelwald turned his back to Agarth, thinking about how to get the things from that person. He was afraid that even if he got the things, Agarth would be exposed to this person. Agarth was not suitable to appear in Dumbledore's eyes at the moment.

'It's really distressing.'

Chapter 5: No wonder it scolds you so badly

Summary:

Baby's first journey

Chapter Text

The next day, early morning.

Agarth, who was pulled out of bed by Grindelwald early in the morning, stretched out his chubby little hand and pinched his right fat face, trying to wake himself up from his sleep.

"Why do you have to get up so early?" Agarth was full of resentment. He looked at the big clock hanging in the living room and slapped his legs indignantly. It's six o'clock. Agarth would not get up unless Abu came to wake him up every day! !

"Okay, be quiet. You have to go to America today. Someone will receive you there." Grindelwald put a small black round hat on Agarth and stretched out his wand to touch Agarth's hair.

"No! You can't do that to my hair!" Agarth thought Grindelwald was going to shave his head again, so he quickly stretched out his two little hands to block the tip of the stick.

"Change color, otherwise you will be exposed as soon as you go out. Do you want Dumbledore to know you now?" Grindelwald thought of the future scene he saw, narrowed his eyes, raised his eyebrows and asked with a sneer.

"If mom knew me now, wouldn't you be able to rekindle your old love with him, and love him again, you and him, *smooch* *smooch* muah..." Agarth said as he jumped on his short legs and circled around Grindelwald.

"I do know. If you keep talking, I will let you know what it means to be reborn in love, to be in love with each other, and to have a swollen butt."

'Humph, you don't know how to appreciate a good person.' Agarth closed his mouth wisely, pouted his lips and hummed, then took out a water mirror and looked at himself in the mirror, which had changed color.

The originally dazzling red shoulder-length hair had turned into a dark black like ink. The slightly curly hair now stood up and stuck tightly to Agarth's face, making the originally chubby face look even rounder.

"But black isn't as pretty as red. I can change it to gold! It's the color of your hair." Agarth was annoyed. Black was too ordinary.

"No." Grindelwald crouched down and looked into Agarth's blue eyes.

"Agarth, remember, you are going to New York this time to meet Newt Scamander." After saying that, he patted the small black hat on Agarth's forehead, "The journey has begun, stand still."

Agarth didn't understand what was going on, but he suddenly felt something like a hook hooked on his belly button. In a flash, everything in front of him was as if he was sitting in the drum of a washing machine, and everything outside was twisted and spinning.

'Asshole! Ugh!' When the object in front of him stopped spinning and moving, Agarth cursed and ran to the nearest Rubbish bucket and started vomiting.

"I hate New York." Seeing that Agarth had stopped vomiting and stood up straight and said this quietly, Rocky Colt was surprised to find that this child was surprisingly similar to the leader in his impression.

"The taste of the portkey is indeed unpleasant, but you looked very similar to the leader just now." Rocky handed Agarth a glass of boiled water and a towel.

“Agarth Albus Grindelwald,what's your name?”

“Rocky Colt.”

"Okay, now you can tell me how to find Newt?"

Agarth shrugged indifferently, took a sip of water, straightened his slightly wrinkled shirt, and then looked up at Rocky, who was much taller than Grindelwald.

"That depends on you." Rocky curled the corners of his mouth mysteriously, and his brown eyes were suddenly filled with a smile.

"Look at me? What can I do? Hey, have you forgotten that I'm a kid? I haven't met Newt yet!"

Agarth ran to Rocky, stretched out his little hand and patted the man in front of him who looked like a giant to him.

"No, a Thunderbird sneaked into New York City recently. The sunny weather suddenly became cloudy. The owner of the Thunderbird met Newt while looking for the Thunderbird." Rocky stretched out his right hand to Agarth, motioning him to hold his hand.

"Well, let me think, this thunderbird might be the one that ran out from the valley behind Nurmengard Castle a few days ago?" Agarth pinched his chin and thought for a while, then suddenly widened his eyes and looked at Rocky in shock.

"The master you are talking about is me?!!!! That big bird has a terrible temper, and you actually said I am her master!!" Agarth avoided Rocky's hand, thinking that this approach was not feasible.

"You know, that bird was particularly resentful of me because I accidentally burned her fur last time. You even said that I was her master. It was her kindness that she didn't give me a lightning bolt when she saw me. I am lucky."

"Hahahaha, but Vinda told me that you are an animal expert and the thunderbird is still in its larval stage. Don't worry." Rocky laughed and stretched out his right hand to clamp Agarth who wanted to dodge, and held the golden key on his chest with his left hand.

'Damn it! What bad luck! Two Portkey trips in one day, what a nightmare.' This is what Agarth muttered after the second trip.

After a short roller tour, the two suddenly landed on the rooftop of a street building. At this time, the sky above the city was covered with dark clouds, and the clouds were very close to the city on the ground. In the thick clouds, a few thin lightning flashes could be vaguely seen, accompanied by a few bird calls.

Agarth jumped off Rocky beside him, leaned out slightly, raised his head, and looked at the sky.

"I say, how did you transport it here?" After saying that, he closed his eyes and moved his ears, trying to listen to what the thunderbird was saying.

"The master said that this thunderbird is the most special one in the flock. It will always follow if it sees something delicious. So I asked a few subordinates to use some fruits to attract it here." Rocky said this, puffing out his chest proudly. You know, thunderbirds are XXXX-level magical animals that fly very fast. If his subordinates did not have superior flying skills and defense capabilities, they might not be able to attract this thunderbird.

“No wonder then.” Agarth nodded.

"No wonder?" Rocky was puzzled.

"No wonder it cursed you so badly." Agarth smiled brightly, showing his teeth. "You despicable, shameless human being, a biped without hands, a defective animal without a heroic sharp beak, too much!

"......" Rocky looked at the thunder and lightning in the sky, and heard the sound of birds singing in his ears. He looked at Agarth speechlessly, and the corners of his mouth twitched slightly. 'It's strange, this kid can understand what this bird is saying? I'm afraid it's deliberately pointing at me?'

"I understand. I'm not making this up. You have to know that animals and humans speak differently. This is what it means when translated." Agarth put his little hands in front of his eyes and squinted at the thunderbird in the sky.

"If that person doesn't show up, Coco will go crazy and New York will be in trouble."

If you ignore Agarth's slightly gloating expression at this moment, and just listen to the tone of his voice, you really get the feeling that he is a good person.

Chapter 6: I Forgot Where My Home Is

Summary:

Baby and his angry Thunderbird

Chapter Text

"You, you said her name is Coco?" A head suddenly popped out of the air and asked Agarth in a slightly stuttering tone.

"Yes, that was one of the name I wrote on more than a dozen pieces of paper, and it was the only one that remained intact from between Coco's claws. Doesn't this prove that she really likes the name Coco?" Agarth nodded, his little hand still in front of his eyes, observing the increasingly irritable Thunderbird Coco in the sky.

"But Coco is obviously very irritable now. I dare not go up to her. I pissed her off last time and she almost got me struck by lightning and turned black." What a irritable bird. No wonder no other birds like to play with him.

"Can you communicate with her?" The man came with a suitcase and spread it out next to Agarth.

Seeing Agarth nodded, a flying magic carpet suddenly rushed out of the suitcase and floated in front of the two of them with a "swish".

Agarth thought to himself, this Rocky knows that he can communicate with animals, why is he still so long-winded. He put down the small hand in front of his eyes and turned back to argue with Rocky, but he didn't find Rocky's figure. Instead, he was suddenly pulled into the air by a big hand.

"Ahhhh, what are you doing! Who are you?"

Agarth, who had lost his balance for a moment, knelt on the flying magic carpet, raised his little head angrily and shouted at the person who came.

The old man with short curly hair touched the back of his head embarrassedly, looked at the distance between the flying carpet and the Thunderbird at this moment, glanced at Agarth, and then said hesitantly, "She is too angry now. If the American Aurors go up now, they will only die."

The old man paused here, smiled sheepishly, and patted Agarth's head soothingly, "But you know her and can communicate with her. See if you can calm her down first."

"The Aurors can't do anything, so I am even more helpless. Let me go." Agarth looked at Coco in the air again, as if he thought of something bad, and hurriedly said to the old man in front of him.

"Besides! And! I just accidentally burned Coco's feathers last month. If she sees me now, she will definitely be even angrier!"

The old man was shocked when he heard Agarth's words, and thought about sending the little baby down first, but out of the corner of his eye he saw the thunderbird that was originally flying towards the east turn and fly towards them.

It's really too late.

"Listen, it's too late to send you down now. Try to comfort her. If that doesn't work, do you see this box?" The old man squatted down and looked at Agarth, picked up the box next to Agarth and put it in his arms.

"When I lead her over later, you open it and lead Coco into the box. Can you do that?"

The old man saw Agarth nodded, took out another bag of fruit from the box, and waved it at the thunderbird in the sky.

Agarth tilted his head and looked at the old man in front of him. It turned out that this was the socially anxious patient mentioned in the book, the animal master Newt Scamander.

'However, Coco is really in a tricky situation now. I don’t know what kind of idiots Grindelwald’s subordinates are. If you want to make the cows work, you have to feed them well. Just attracting people, bah, just attracting birds to work without giving them any benefits, any person would be furious, let alone birds, let alone Coco, this stupid bird.'

"You despicable bipeds, I will kill you, kill you." Coco in the air made bird sounds and flapped its wings frantically. The lightning in the sky brought up by its wings made crackling sounds, which hurt people's ears.

"Coo! Coo!" Newt made sounds similar to those of a Thunderbird, trying to attract the Thunderbird to fly over here.

Coco flew above the two of them in the blink of an eye. Its huge wings drove the flow of air, causing the flying carpet they were on to fly uncontrollably.

"Annoying little biped! Annoying little biped!" Coco saw a familiar figure on the flying carpet and suddenly started screaming again.

"Is it you who did this again? Attacking me again! Trying to force me to leave the tribe!" Coco flapped her wings angrily to attack the flying carpet.

Agarth felt that he was more wronged. 'I was wrong to burn your wings last time, but I picked my favorite fruit for you to eat and apologized to you. It was not my fault this time, and you still  wronged me.'

"It's not me this time! Do you think I can fly faster than you? Can I attack you?" Agarth shouted.

"The man next to me and I are here to save you. The human Aurors will be here soon. If you continue to make trouble, I will tell your clan leader! I can't save you!

As soon as Agarth finished speaking, he saw that Coco, who was originally furious, seemed to calm down, and her wings, which were originally dancing extremely fast, also began to slow down.

Newt on the side looked at Agarth approvingly, motioning him to continue persuading Coco, while slowly moving to the side of the box.

Agarth glanced at Newt's movements, raised his hand as a megaphone and continued to shout.

"Coco, come down here quickly, the human Auror is coming soon, I have fruits here, I am not those despicable and shameless bipeds who tricked you out, you still don't trust me!"

"There are fruits?" Coco's tone became noticeably gentler.

Agarth then turned back to look at Newt, who nodded and raised a large bag of fruit in his hand.

"Yes! There are tons of them! Come down and smell them and you'll know!

"You annoying jerk! Don't lie to me!" Coco said, and then she swooped down towards the two of them.

Newt hurriedly spread out his small suitcase and shook it in the direction Coco was flying from. Coco rushed into Newt's suitcase in an instant and disappeared from their sight.

Newt let out a long breath, closed the button of the box neatly, glanced at the smiling child in front of him, then looked at the clouds gradually dispersing in the sky, and laughed.

"Luckily, you know this Thunderbird." Newt patted Agarth's head gently. "If we don't rescue her, the American Aurors will just shoot him in the end."

"Why, why shoot the Thunderbird when you can just lure it away?" Agarth asked puzzled.

"If it was just a Thunderbird passing by, it would be easy to lead it away, but this Thunderbird is too close to the ground and is obviously in a state of rage, so it's impossible to lead it away." Newt controlled the flying carpet and slowly descended to the rooftop where they came from.

"And since they can't lure away a XXXX-level magical animal, they can only shoot it. After all, it's just one thunderbird, not a flock of thunderbirds."

"Okay, I'm sorry to have scared you. Is your home near the ptarmigan flock? Where is it? I can take you home with this ptarmigan."

"But, I forgot where my home is." Agarth grinned sheepishly, grabbing Newt's pants with his little hands and shaking them.

Chapter 7: Naughty Child

Summary:

Mischievous baby

Chapter Text

On the rooftop of a building on a street in Manhattan, New York, Newt, who was packing his suitcase, stopped what he was doing when he heard Agarth's words.

"My name is Newt Scamander. Didn't you come to New York with your parents?" Newt scratched his head and looked at Agarth in confusion.

"Ah! You are Newt! The author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them!" Agarth pretended to be shocked and put his hand over his mouth. "My name is Agarth! I came to the United States with my butler, but he got lost!"

'Lost? Are you sure it's not you who's lost?' Newt was speechless for a moment, and subconsciously twitched his mouth. Then he heard Agarth say something shocking.

"I have read your book several times. Can you tell me if a Bowtruckle can really pick locks? The little Bowtruckle at home spits at me every time he sees me!"

Agarth was very angry when he said this! 'That Bowtruckle was really ungrateful!' Whenever he got close to it, it would run out of the bushes and spit at him.

“Well, generally speaking, Bowtruckles are good at picking locks, but unless they are angered, they tend to be quite shy.” Newt looked at the child in front of him, who looked younger than his grandson, with a strange look.

It's no wonder Newt found it strange. After all, Bowtruckle always maintained a gentle attitude towards human cubs and rarely spit at them when they met.

unless…

“You didn’t burn the tree they live in, did you?!”

Newt thought of the child in front of him who had burned the feathers of the Thunderbird, and subconsciously asked back, but then he felt something was wrong and was about to say sorry.

Newt saw Agarth looking calm, as if to say, "How come you are so good that you can guess this?", and nodded.

???????

'Really???' Newt tilted his head and asked with his eyes.

It wasn't until he saw Agarth nod again that he smiled awkwardly.

'Whose family raised this naughty kid? Has no one ever told him not to mess with animals?'

"Well, that's Agarth, right?" Newt reached out his hand and patted Agarth's shoulder.

"Well, I mean, your name is Agarth, right? What's your last name? I can help you find your parents."

"No need to look for me. I've been waiting for you." Agarth waved his hand nonchalantly, speaking so calmly.

"Dad said that Mr. Scamander once helped an Obscurus, so I came to America to find you."

Agarth reached out and patted Newt's trouser legs, as if to comfort his shocked mood at the moment.

"But don't worry, I am not an Obscurus."

“Please finish your sentence.” Newt swallowed.

"I'm just, just weird." Agarth began standing on tiptoe sheepishly.

"Why is it that whenever I can't control my emotions, my magic will go haywire? No one can stop me except my dad. My magic will hurt everyone!"

Newt felt that the child in front of him didn't seem to be embarrassed at all. Looking at his proud expression, he was just about to tell himself that his magic power was awesome.

"Your father told you, You're not an Obscurus, right? ?"

nod.

"He just told you to come find me?"

Agarth nodded again.

'Magic riot? In his past decades of experience, Newt has only encountered one child who became a Squib due to magic riot, and this was because the child's body could not withstand the powerful magic in his body. So is this child in front of me also for this reason?'

"Dear Mr. Scamander, good afternoon." Rocky suddenly appeared behind Newt and Agarth and extended his right hand to Newt very politely.

"Excuse me, who are you?" Newt reached out and held Rocky's fingertips and immediately let go.

"Rocky Colt, Mr. Scamander, this is a coin you once gave me. I brought Master Agarth with me this time to ask you for something."

Rocky handed over a slightly old coin.

Newt looked at the coin in front of him without saying a word, and then glanced at Agarth beside him.

Agarth looked at Rocky in confusion. 'This subordinate didn't tell me that he had a token. I thought i had to pretend to be a lost child and go home with Newt.'

"The head of the family said that this is a deal between the Rozier family and you." Rocky smiled and put the coin in Agarth's hand.

"Magic riots are something every child will experience. Aren't you making too much of a fuss about it?" Newt complained in a low voice.

"Uh..." Rocky thought of the scene that Ms. Rosier described to him, and felt that his young master might be different from what Newt said.

After all, as long as the emotions are excited, the surrounding objects will float up, including wizards with weak magic power will be lifted up by their own master, not to mention the extremely dangerous red vortex in the air that will distort the space.

"The young master may not be what you imagined." Rocky smiled very stiffly.

"This is a gift from the master of the family. It's a dragon egg from the East. You know, it's not easy to collect magical animals from the East. After all, the care of animals in that country is much stricter than ours." Rocky handed Newt a box with a hollow lotus carved on it in his left hand.

"In that case, I'll have to trouble you to take care of the young master for a while." Rocky raised the small wooden box in his right hand with the traceless extension spell cast on it.

"Here is the magic stabilizing potion made by the master himself. If you really can't help the young master control himself, you can only give him this to drink."

"I'll take it." Newt took the box, opened it, and saw the huge dragon egg inside that was pure white and blue. He hurriedly agreed.

Western dragon eggs are uncommon, but Eastern dragon eggs are even rarer, and the mother dragons are extremely ferocious.

It's just about helping a kid control his own magical riot. If Newt can't do it, can his friends do it? If it doesn't work, just ask Nico. He must know the answer after living for so long.

Agarth looked at the dragon egg in the box puzzledly. 'Why did it look more and more familiar?'

Why does the blue color of this dragon egg look so familiar?

Agarth was about to reach out and touch the faint blue on the dragon egg when he was grabbed by Newt.

"Agarth, don't touch it yet, let me take a look first."

Agarth was speechless.

'Now I am sure that this egg is the one I often use practicing for painting. If I remember correctly, the blue color is the one I painted last time.'

"That's strange, why do you want to dye it blue so much?" Newt observed the eggs in the box and always felt that the blue color was strange.

Chapter 8: Magic Control Ball

Summary:

Cautious baby

Chapter Text

"By the way, you just said you wanted the same thing from me, what is it?" Newt looked up at Rocky.

"Magic control ball." Rocky restrained the smile on his face and said to Newt with a serious face.

"Magic Control Ball?" Newt licked his lips. If he remembered correctly, the last owner of this thing was a man named Obscurus.

"Young master is not Obscurus, and there can't be an Obscurus in his body." Seeing Newt's hesitation, Rocky quickly added.

"If you spend some time with the young master, you will understand why our master wants to borrow something like this from you." After saying this, Rocky nodded to Agarth, and with a "pop", he used Apparition to disappear from the sight of the two.

Seeing that the man left without even asking the question, Newt could only hold Agarth's hand and said to Agarth, "Agarth, I'm just passing through the United States this time to help the Aurors persuade this Thunderbird that suddenly appeared in the city to leave. I have to go back to the UK in two days. Would you like to go to the UK with me and live there for a while?"

"Mr. Scamander, I'll listen to you, as long as you can help me solve my little physical problem."

Agarth smiled. 'Going back to England, that would be great. I wonder if I'll have the chance to meet Dumbledore?'

"Don't worry, now that I have received the dragon egg, I will take good care of you." Newt took out a branch and motioned Agarth to hold it.

"This is a portkey. I think your body can't adapt to Apparition, so I'll have to ask you to use the portkey."

"Ugh!" Agarth felt nauseous just by hearing the word "portkey" before he even touched the branch, and he felt his intestines were wriggling wildly.

"Can't we just walk there? Don't look at me because I'm small, but I really..." Agarth didn't even finish his words before he was teleported away by the branch handed to him by Newt.

Agarth, who was becoming more and more familiar with the vision of the washing machine drum, had lifeless eyes until the spinning vision stopped and he was supported by a short-haired woman and slowly sat down on the floor. Only then did he realize that he had arrived.

The woman in front of me had big, bright eyes and looked old, but her movements were extremely agile.

The woman smiled at Agarth, then looked at Newt who appeared in the air and slowly landed on the ground, "Newt, where did you find this baby?"

"Tina, I didn't find this. It came to me on its own."

Newt smiled, walked up to Tina, hugged her and kissed her forehead.

"Thank you for taking care of him. I still have to deal with this matter with the Aurors." Newt waved his hand at Agarth, motioning him to look over.

"This is my wife, Tina, you can call her Grandma Tina, Tina, this is Agarth, um, Agarth, what's your last name?" Newt introduced here and realized that Agarth still didn't introduce his last name to him.

Agarth pursed his lips, thinking whether to tell him directly? Or tell him? Or tell him?

'But if I told him my last name was Grindelwald, I'm afraid he would tie me up in a second.

Well, let's make one up.'

"Agarth Ward Lindger, that's my name!"

"Aren't you from the Rosier family? Why does your last name sound so strange?" Newt wondered.

"Hey, my mother's last name is Rosier." Agarth thought, godmother, godmother is Vinda Rosier, this is not a lie.

"Oh~" Newt and Tina looked at each other, and suddenly they responded in tacit understanding.

Agarth looked at the expressions of the two and knew that they probably arranged some bitter and vengeful background story for themselves.

"Okay, go and get busy. Leave this to me." Tina pushed Newt and turned to Agarth. "Agarth, are you hungry? Let's go. I'll take you to eat something delicious."

Agarth nodded happily. He had been hungry for a long time. He was woken up early in the morning, smuggled into the United States from a long distance, and vomited twice on the way.

Which time traveler could be as miserable as him.

Newt looked at Tina and Agarth leaving, then he took out the coin from his shirt pocket and slowly stroked the coin in front of him with his calloused right hand. This coin was given to a young man who saved his life when he was in the Fire Dragon Training Ground.

'What was the young man's last name? What was it? Lindger? It didn't seem like it. This last name was so rare. This should be the first time I heard it. Forget it, I don’t want to think about it anymore. I still have to go to the Ministry of Magic.'

When Newt returned home again, it was already dark. He saw Tina curled up on the sofa in the middle of the living room, reading a newspaper, and a little kid was lying on the small sofa next to her.

“He fell asleep?” Newt asked softly.

"Agarth said he wanted to wait for you to come back, but he was too tired and fell asleep after waiting with me for a while." Tina smiled and patted the seat next to Newt.

"This child does have some physical problems. You can guess how old he is." Tina looked at Agarth with gentle eyes.

Newt took one look at Agarth's figure and rubbed his chin, "Five?"

Tina frowned, "Even you think he's only five years old?"

"Isn't it?"

"Agarth told me that he is eight years old this year. If nothing goes wrong, he will be able to go to magic school in three years."

Newt's eyes widened, and he hurried to Agarth's side, gently lifted the blanket covering Agarth, looked at Agarth's body under the blanket, which was smaller than that of a normal five-year-old child, and turned back to ask Tina in disbelief.

"Did he really tell you that he is 8 years old? Born in 1978?"

"Yes, he is like an animal, his body is much smaller than a normal child, and he seems to have very powerful magic."

Tina recalled that when she was having afternoon tea with Agarth in the afternoon, a piece of dessert accidentally fell off the tea table, but Agarth reacted immediately. He just took a look at the small cake that was about to fall to the floor. The cake instantly stopped in the air and then slowly returned to the plate.

And Agarth seemed to be accustomed to this, and was extremely skilled in using the magic power in his body.

"Newt, why did you bring this child back?" Tina took the blanket from Newt and covered Agarth with it, gently soothing Agarth who was a little awakened.

"His family wants to borrow the magic control ball from me for the child to use." Newt avoided Tina's gaze and spoke in a lower and lower voice.

"Newt Scamander! Didn't you tell me that this thing is for out-of-control animals?" Tina looked at Newt in disbelief.

“This was proposed by their family themselves, so they must know what this thing is used for.” Newt retorted in a low voice.

Chapter 9: Grow Up Quickly

Chapter Text

"Tina, pack up tomorrow. It's time to go back to England." Newt raised his wand and tapped Agarth. Agarth floated in the air and was lifted up and placed on the bed in the guest room.

"With this child?" Tina was puzzled.

"I'm afraid that if the child's physical condition is not resolved, he will always be with us." Newt smiled helplessly.

"Are you sure the magic control ball works on Agarth? After all, he looks like a malnourished little wizard. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes this afternoon, I really wouldn't be sure that he has such strong magic power in his body." Tina touched Agarth's head lovingly and tucked in the quilt for him.

"I'm not sure, but I'm also not sure whether there is Obscurus in his body. I can only keep him with me and observe him first." Newt sighed. The wizarding world has finally been peaceful for a few years, and no one wants to see another powerful Obscurus appear. After all, this is the sadness of the wizarding world, isn't it?

Obviously, there could be a powerful wizard in the future, but due to various reasons, the little wizard has become an animal without humanity.

However, it would be nice if we could prevent the tragedy before it happened. But wouldn't it be better if Agarth was not an Obscurial, but just a little wizard with powerful magic?

A hint of determination flashed in Newt's eyes, and he gently hugged Tina, who was accompanying him everywhere.

"This way, he can keep Rolf company, right? After all, little Rolf's friends are still missing a human."

Tina thought of her little grandson and slapped Newt's shoulder angrily. It was all this old guy's fault, otherwise Rolf wouldn't have always loved playing with animals at such a young age, and wouldn't have been able to play with children from wizarding families.

'I hope Agarth and Rolf have something in common,' Tina prayed silently.

In the guest room of the Scamander house, Agarth, who should have been fast asleep, felt that the Scamander couple had closed the door and left. He then slightly moved his eyelids and opened his sleepless eyes.

Because of his past life, Agarth was actually very wary of people. It was not possible for him to fall asleep peacefully. He could only fall asleep peacefully after eliminating all the dangers around him.

This time, no less.

But, "They look like good people." Agarth muttered to himself. There are so many good people in this world, even though it is such a dangerous world.

Thinking of this, Agarth looked at his small and weak body again and couldn't help but sigh. He didn't know if the magic control ball would be useful for his body. After all, it could only be used by uncontrolled animals. Strictly speaking, he wasn't an animal, right? Right?

Oh, this is not fun anymore. It's all because of this old man Grindelwald, what a lousy body he made for himself. Agarth clenched his fist in indignation and made up his mind to pull out this old man's beard again next time, it's all because he bullies people like this every day.

Endless thoughts filled his mind, and as the moon rose high in the sky, Agarth gradually fell into sleep.

The next morning, Agarth felt as if a huge rock was pressing down on his chest, making it hard for him to breathe. He tried to push the rock away from his body, but no matter what he did, the rock remained firmly on his body.

Until finally the boulder seemed to be tired of being pushed, and a "meow~" sound came from its chest.

Agarth was instantly awakened!

'A cat? A cat? A cat!'

Agarth looked at the huge, fat, huge, and fleshy cat in disbelief. Where did this cat come from?

'No wonder I always feel short of breath in my sleep. This thickness, if it presses on me again, I will suffocate. However, this cat is too fat. Can such a fat cat catch mice? I'm afraid it can't even run.'

Agarth's mouth twitched slightly, thinking that he seemed to still be in Scamander's house, this fat cat might have run out of Newt's box.

"Knock knock!" There was a gentle knock on the door, and Tina was heard calling Agarth gently through the door.

"Agarth, are you awake? It's time to get up and have breakfast."

"I'm awake, but Grandma Tina, I can't get up. There's a cat on me." Agarth shouted at the door in his sweet voice.

The cat was so heavy that it couldn't move at all. Agarth pushed the fat cat on his chest manually, but it really didn't move at all.

The fat cat moved its ears, as if it understood what Agarth said, and meowed slightly angrily.

Suddenly, it quickly jumped up from Agarth's chest, pounced on Agarth's head, and bit Agarth's hair.

"Meow~ Meow~"

"Ouch." Agarth was not paying attention for a moment and felt a huge creature covering his eyes, followed by the pain of his scalp being torn.

When Tina heard Agarth's reply, she quickly opened the door and went in, wondering where the cat came from.

She shouted to Newt who was resting and reading a newspaper in the living room "Newt! Come and see if one of your animals is missing again."

Tina raised her wand, pointed at the towel beside her and waved it at the fat cat that was biting Agarth's hair "Vadi Vasi."

The towel hit the fat cat, and with a spell of "Incarcerous!", the towel rolled up the fat cat and prevented it from flying towards Agarth.

"Wenchet!" When Newt entered the room, he saw that the kitten he had carefully fed was entangled with the towel. When Wenchet saw Newt coming in, he stopped his active actions and pretended to be pitiful, meowing at Newt continuously.

"Newt! If you don't take good care of this cat, I will give him to Hagrid! Hagrid likes him very much!" Tina looked at Agarth nervously, while gently helping Agarth to tidy up his hair.

"Winchet won't hurt Agarth. Wenchet will only stay with people he likes. Look, Agarth is fine now." Newt gently untied the towel wrapped around Wenchet, glanced at Agarth with messy hair, and then spoke in a low voice with a guilty conscience.

"I'm fine, Grandma Tina, I'm just not strong enough, so I was pinned down by this fat, um, Wenchet." Although Agarth was reluctant to admit that he was bullied by a cat, he had no choice, as he was indeed not as strong as a cat.

Thinking of this, Agarth shook his head again at his short stature and sighed.

Tina observed the entire process of Agarth's actions, turned her head and laughed softly.

"Don't worry, you are still young and you will grow up quickly."

Chapter 10: Three Days

Summary:

Baby's 2nd time journey, (1st with boat)

Chapter Text

"So, he really likes me, that's why he keeps pestering me."

Agarth helplessly pulled Wenchet who was lying on his hair. He knew that he was not tall to begin with, and what could he do if this fat cat kept lying on his forehead and made him even shorter?

"You should be happy. Wenchet doesn't allow ordinary people to touch him, but look, he's still sticking to you." Newt stretched out his hand to help Agarth take Wenchet away, but the cat stretched out its tail and slapped Newt's hand to express its refusal.

"Don't worry, this is a Kneazle, he likes you and will protect you." Newt said and looked at Agarth jealously. He didn't know what ability this kid had, and how he could communicate with the Thunderbird without any obstacles, and why Wenchet liked him so much.

"Don't worry, don't be fooled by how fat he is. He is Hobby's most outstanding offspring, although he is a little fat." Newt looked at Agarth's neck that could not bear the weight, and smiled a little embarrassedly.

“Hobby is our first Kneazle and he is very smart.”

"Okay, we should go to the port." Tina said to Newt and Agarth, carrying a suitcase.

"Agarth, can you get in touch with your family now? We have to leave for England."

"I can do it! Kaka!" Agarth nodded and summoned Kaka.

When Agarth woke up in the morning, he saw that his clothes had been packed up, folded and placed on the hanger, and there was a pocket watch under his pillow that he had forgotten to take with him when he went out. He knew that Kaka must have followed him out.

Otherwise Agarth wouldn't have slept so soundly last night that he didn't even notice Wenchet coming into the room and pressing on him.

"Yes, the little master found Kaka, and Kaka said good morning to the little master." Kaka looked at his little master happily, feeling happy that the little master could discover his existence.

"Thank you both for taking care of the young master." Kaka bowed madly to the Scamander couple to express his gratitude, because Kaka had watched Agarth grow up. Kaka was very worried about the fact that Agarth was still not tall at the age of eight. He was also afraid that one day Agarth would become a squib who could not use magic because of a magic riot.

"Hello Kaka, please tell your master that Agarth has to go back to Dorset with us to live. We are just passing through the United States this time."

Newt squatted down and whispered to Kaka.

"Kaka...Kaka..." Kaka looked at Agarth hesitantly.

"Young master, Britain... Britain, but..." Kaka spoke hesitantly. After all, Britain was Dumbledore's territory, and he was afraid that if the young master was discovered by Dumbledore, it would be over.

"Okay Kaka, I will go back to England with Mr. Scamander and Grandma Tina. Nothing will happen. You go back and tell Dad, don't worry."

Agarth interrupted what Kaka was about to say, nodded at Kaka, indicating that nothing would happen, and touched his hair.

Kaka looked at the little master's dark hair and short stature, blinked his big eyes, then happily bowed to Agarth and the Scamanders, snapped his fingers, and disappeared in front of the three people.

"No matter how many times I see it, I'm always amazed by the magic of the house-elves." Tina looked at the place where Kaka disappeared and exclaimed.

After all, being able to Apparate over long distances without considering the limitations of space is something that wizards cannot do. But the magic of house-elves can do it, which is really amazing.

Newt noticed Kaka's hesitant expression. Although he didn't know why the house-elf reacted like this to Agarth going to England, he just thought that the elf was worried about the little master being far away from his hometown.

"Let's go!" The two men took Agarth's hands and took Agarth to the port where wizards traveled across borders.

At the port of New York, the Scamanders brought Agarth to a tattered wooden sign and stood there. Newt took out his wand and tapped a ferry sign on the sign. Suddenly, a small boat rose from the bottom of the sea and appeared in front of the three of them.

Agarth looked at the slightly old boat in front of him, then looked at the Scamanders who were preparing to board the boat. He was silent for a moment before he spoke haltingly, "Is this the means of transportation from the United States to the United Kingdom?"

Newt and Tina nodded. They both thought that this was Agarth's first long journey. Newt picked up Agarth and explained to him, "Don't be fooled by the small size of this ship. The space inside is quite large. Moreover, since the release of the Statute of Wizarding Secrecy, there will still be a division between the wizard world and the Muggle world."

'But this division is too big, my goodness. No wonder the old man wants to break the confidentiality law, this kind of transportation is far inferior to the transportation of ordinary people.'

Agarth missed the plane more than the boat.

“How long will it take to get to England?” Agarth asked.

"It won't take long, just three days. Crossing the country by sea is much safer than taking the Knight Bus."

Agarth was completely silent. If it were in the previous life, it would take less than nine hours to get there by plane. So when would the wizards discover the usefulness of airplanes and modify them properly?

But it was easier to break the Statute of Wizarding Secrecy yourself than to expect wizards to accept Muggle things.

"Welcome, all three." At the entrance of the boat stood a man in a wizard robe.

"Hello, it's a two-bedroom apartment in Dorset, England," Newt said to the man.

"Okay, the trip is to the UK, and we'll arrive in three days. Three gold Galleons per person, a total of nine Galleons, plus one gold Galleon for three days of meals. May I ask who you are?" the man spoke fluently and quickly.

"Meals are included." Tina handed over ten gold galleons and took Agarth on board.

The ship you see from the outside is indeed different from the ship you see from the inside. The ship looks a bit shabby from the outside, but once you get inside, you will find that there is a whole new world inside.

There were not only Agarth and his three companions in the cabin, but also many wizards in robes walking around in the cabin. As soon as you entered the first floor of the cabin, you would see a large restaurant. Passing through the restaurant, you would reach the second floor where the guest rooms would begin.

The man brought Agarth and the other two to the door of room 205, handed Newt a bunch of keys, and left.

Newt opened the door. The room was not what Agarth had imagined. After entering the door, there was a large living room with rooms on both sides of the living room.

"Come on, let's start our three-day sailing life."

Tina put down the box in her hand and smiled at Agarth.

Chapter 11: It's really unusual

Summary:

1st night magic riot away from home

Chapter Text

"Get out! Get out!" A loud noise came from Agarth's room. The Scamanders, who had just fallen asleep in the opposite room, were awakened by the roar and quickly put on their clothes and ran to Agarth's room with their wands.

"Agarth? Agarth!" Newt knocked on Agarth's door and heard no response from inside,

"Alohomora!"

Newt cast a spell and quickly opened the door of Agarth's room. All the objects in the room rose into the air and the surrounding space seemed to be in a strange stagnation. There was also a faint red light cutting through the space, tightly wrapping around Agarth lying on the bed.

Wenchet, who was resting beside Agarth's pillow, was suspended high on the ceiling by a powerful magic. His hair stood up, and his sharp claws stretched out, scratching the air around him, as if he wanted to return to Agarth's side, but he couldn't move. He could only frantically howl at Agarth, who was talking in his sleep on the bed and was lost in sleep: "Meow~"

“No, Tina.” Newt stopped Tina from moving forward and stretched out a finger to slowly touch this strange space.

However, the unprotected index finger was cut by an invisible barrier in front of him, and blood gushed out instantly.

"Newt!" Tina looked worriedly at Newt's bleeding finger, and then looked at Agarth in the center of the barrier in disbelief.

For a moment, the two were at a loss as to what to do with the scene before them.

"No, this is not a simple magic riot." Newt cast a spell to restore the wound to its original state. The wound on his finger seemed to heal slowly under the effect of magic, but the next moment, the wound that had already healed suddenly split open a bigger hole, and under the blurred flesh and blood, the white bones underneath could be vaguely seen.

"Newt! Your finger! Come on, Dittany Potion!" Tina looked at the increasingly horrific wound and summoned Dittany Potion, which she hastily covered the wound with. After pouring out a whole bottle of Dittany Potion, she saw that the wound gradually stopped bleeding and slowly began to heal, but the healing speed was extremely slow.

The two of them silently looked at the space in front of them that seemed to be split. As time passed, they only felt that more and more powerful magic was spreading outward from around Agarth.

Gradually, sharp edges slashed towards the objects within the barrier. Except for Agarth in the center which was unscathed, the surrounding objects were shattered.

Wenchet couldn't dodge and was scratched by several sharp edges. His hair was instantly covered in blood and he could only scream.

"No, we have to wake Agarth up, or Wenchet will die." Tina said calmly, lighting up a shield charm and putting it on herself, trying to get closer to Agarth.

"Don't move Tina, there must be a way." Newt stopped Tina, looked at the wailing Wenchet in the air with distress, and kept patting his head, trying to recall if there was any solution.

Suddenly he remembered the other wooden box that Rocky gave him yesterday.

"The wooden box. Yes, that box." Newt ran to the bedroom, opened the suitcase, and took out another box that Rocky had given him yesterday.

It contained several rows of silver cans of potions.

"The man who sent Agarth here said that this potion can help Agarth stabilize his emotions."

Newt ran back to the opposite room with the potion and shook it at Tina.

"But now, we can't enter this barrier." Tina looked at the barrier in front of her that had expanded again and could only slowly step back a few steps.

Suddenly, a short figure flashed in front of the two of them and said anxiously "Let Kaka come! Let Kaka come!"

"Kaka?" Newt said and handed the potion in his hand to Kaka.

Kaka took the potion, and a light flashed from the tip of the elf's extremely slender index finger. He pointed at the potion in his hand and poured a thin stream into Agarth's yelling mouth.

As the potion was finished, the silent space around it began to flow, the faintly visible red light gradually disappeared, and the objects originally floating in the air suddenly disappeared, slowly dispersing into gray smoke and slowly falling to the ground.

Newt rushed forward to catch Wenchet, whose flesh was torn apart, and took out bottle after bottle of Dittany Potion to apply medicine to Wenchet's wounds.

Kaka watched Tina pick up Agarth and could only stand at Tina's feet, calling out to his little master anxiously.

"Agarth? Agarth? Wake up." Tina looked at Agarth, who was sweating and pale, with a distressed look. She reached out and gently touched Agarth's head, and then gently checked whether Agarth had any other wounds.

Agarth was awakened by the incessant shouting. He felt his whole body was limp, his throat was sore and he couldn't make a sound.

When he opened his heavy eyelids, he saw that the originally cozy bedroom had become messy, and he was held in Tina's arms, with a baby rising up and jumping beside him from time to time, calling his Kaka in a shrill voice.

Not far away, Newt had a bloody mess in his arms.

"Grandma Tina?" Agarth said hoarsely, looking at the Scamanders with a hint of guilt.

"Agarth, I'm so glad you're okay." Tina laughed happily. Hearing the voice, Newt walked to the bedside holding Wenchet, whose bleeding had stopped, and looked at Agarth.

"Hey, it looks like this is another time you've survived a disaster." Newt noticed Agarth's guilty look at this moment, touched Agarth's chubby little face, and comforted him with a smile.

"Mr. Scamander, I'm sorry, and Wenchet." Agarth spoke softly, looking at Newt, whose fingers were bandaged, and Wenchet, whose body was covered with white spots.

"You didn't mean to do that, did you? I don't think Wenchet will blame you." Newt put Wenchet, who was pupating towards Agarth, next to him.

"Touch him. He doesn't blame you. Instead, he's worried about you."

Agarth looked at Wenchet who was licking his hand gently with a complicated look.

"Meow~" Wenchet touched Agarth's little hand with its nose, and the whole cat curled up beside Agarth, slowly closed its eyes and rested.

"I'm sorry." Agarth touched Wenchet's little head before looking up at the Scamanders.

"Agarth, I was wondering why your family was so worried about a magic riot, but it wasn't until tonight that I realized that your magic riot was indeed very unusual." Newt smiled bitterly, feeling guilty for his previous careless conclusion that led to everything that happened tonight.

'If I had paid a little more attention to what Rocky said that day and asked more carefully, perhaps Agarth's magic would not have rioted tonight and I would not be helpless.'

Chapter 12: Kaka Didn't Lie

Summary:

Bit of origin of 'magical' baby

Chapter Text

Agarth shook his head when he heard what Newt said. In fact, it was not Newt's fault, because the magic riot of a normal person was not so terrifying. It was just because Agarth was not a normal person.

"I..."

"Okay, let Agarth rest first. If you have any questions, ask him tomorrow." Tina interrupted what Agarth was about to say, motioned Newt to go out first, and gently covered Agarth with a blanket.

"Agarth, you are tired, take a rest first." Tina looked at Agarth with her bright eyes, nodded affirmatively, then stood up and left the room.

"Kaka, can we talk to you?" Tina suddenly smiled at Kaka as she closed the door.

"Of course! It's Kaka's honor." Kaka nodded, looked at his little master again, and then slowly walked out of the room with dragging steps.

Watching several people leaving the room one after another, Agarth sighed leisurely, feeling that life is not easy.

The power of the magic riot is getting stronger and stronger. 'If it only affects me, it doesn't matter, I have been living a life of stealth.'

But today, the uncontrolled magic power hurt the people around him again. Agarth is not a fool. After each magic riot, Kaka would secretly replace the surrounding things with exactly the same ones to prevent him from noticing.

'Every time I woke up, I saw Kaka and Grindelwald intact. What about when I was still asleep? Was someone injured? Or was he injured in a place that I couldn't see.'

After all, after every magic riot, there was Vinda who disappeared, Grindelwald who improved the magic stabilizer, and Kaka who dodged for several days and did not appear in front of him.

These are all evidence that you have hurt the people around you.

In the living room outside the room, Newt and Tina sat relaxedly on the sofa, looking at Kaka who was standing nervously on the side.

"Kaka, I'm sorry that I couldn't stop a magical riot tonight." Newt suddenly spoke.

"No! No! Mr. Scamander, this is the first time you have seen the little master's magical riot, and it has been resolved very well." Kaka took a few steps forward excitedly, pricked up his ears, and looked at Newt with wide eyes.

"The first time, the little master's magic rioted and Kaka's legs were cut off." Kaka seemed to remember something horrible. He spoke tremblingly and slapped his head excitedly. "No! Kaka can't say bad things about the little master! Kaka is a bad elf! A bad elf!"

Tina and Newt looked at each other and hurriedly stopped Kaka from hurting himself.

"Kaka, calm down." Newt held Kaka's slender arm, "Can you tell me why Agarth has such powerful magic?"

There are many secrets in the inheritance of wizarding families that are unknown to the world. Newt guessed that perhaps the Agarth family used some secret method to make Agarth's magic power far surpass that of children of the same age.

"No, Kaka can't say it!" Kaka covered his mouth, stammered, and glanced at Newt and Tina.

"Kaka, then can you tell us what you can say?" Tina suddenly had an idea and asked tentatively.

"Kaka, Kaka..."

"Don't worry, we understand all this just to help Agarth stabilize his magic, right? You don't want Agarth to become a squib, do you?" Tina smiled at Kaka, squatted beside Kaka, and reached out to hold Kaka's other arm.

"Muggle technology! It must be the wrong Muggle technology!" Kaka shouted excitedly.

"Muggle?"

"The master visited the Muggle world and found that Muggles had developed a technology called in vitro fertilization, which can reproduce offspring in this way."

"Unfortunately, the Muggle technology was immature at that time, so the master modified the Muggle technology, studied something about embryos, and transplanted them into a huge egg that had lost its life. He kept pouring blood into the egg. In order to connect the blood and the embryo, he needed to continuously transmit magic power every day. Seven months later, the little master was born from the egg."

Kaka told everything he knew in one breath. Seeing the couple who were already lost in thought, his eyes moved slightly. He only said it was blood, not Dumbledore's blood. He also only said the egg, not the phoenix egg. He said he was born from the egg, not because the egg was given to a fire dragon and incubated at high temperatures day and night, so the little master was born.

Therefore, Kaka did not lie or deceive anyone, he just told less of the truth.

"This is dark magic!" Newt said angrily.

"No, Newt, you know, there is such technology in the No-Maj world." Tina said awkwardly.

"It's just that the No-Maj technique is to transfer the father's sperm into the woman's body, thereby making her pregnant."

"And what the wizard does is just to turn a pregnant woman into an egg." Tina thought of her own country. The No-Maj's did have this technology a long time ago, but the wizards just modified the technology, and it was not considered as black magic.

Newt was silent.

"So, Kaka, what you want to tell us is that Agarth has such powerful magic because he was born from an egg?" Tina thought for a while and asked her question again.

"Kaka doesn't know. Kaka only knows that the little master has powerful magic power since birth and is a very powerful little wizard." Kaka shook his head and refused to answer this question.

Egg? "What kind of egg is it?" Newt looked at Kaka.

"Kaka doesn't know! Kaka doesn't know!" Kaka shouted that he didn't know, then broke free from the couple's hands, turned around and rushed back to Agarth's room.

"Newt?" Tina looked at Newt. "What kind of egg could have such a magical explosion that destroyed everything around it and made the space seem stagnant?"

Newt shook his head. The only magical animal that could bring destruction to space that he could think of was Dumbledore's phoenix. But as far as he knew, apart from Fawkes' phoenix, there hadn't been a phoenix in the wizarding world for a long time.

Not to mention the lifeless phoenix eggs. The phoenix's characteristic of rebirth from the ashes means that there can be no lifeless eggs.

"I don't know, but if Agarth is real and was born from an egg, then the magic control ball might really be useful to him." Newt smiled at Tina in a relaxed manner.

"After all, that thing was given to me by Nico. He said that the more powerful the animal's magic, the more effective it is. So Agarth can definitely use it."

Tina looked at Newt's determined expression, then nodded and patted Newt's hand, "Go back and have a rest. I'm not young anymore. I can't stay up late with you like before."

Newt smiled and hugged Tina back to the room.

Chapter 13: It's outrageous

Chapter Text

The next morning, Agarth woke up to a loud noise.

All I could hear was Kaka's shrill voice quarreling with a cat next to my ear.

"Smelly cat! Come down now!"

"Meow! Meow!"

"You are too dirty, get down quickly! The little master will be angry if he sees you!" Kaka raised his fingertips, threatening Wenchet, who was lying on Agarth's hair with his whole body covered in dirt.

When Wenchet heard Kaka's words, a hint of cunning flashed in his eyes. Under Kaka's gaze, he deliberately rubbed Agarth's face again, licked it, and then meowed at Kaka.

"Stinky cat!!"

"Okay, okay, Kaka." Agarth just woke up and saw this scene. He could only sigh, dissuade Kaka for a while, and then touched Wenchet's head.

"Wenchet, are you all right?"

"Meow~" Wenchet squinted his eyes because of Agarth's touch. He turned over, spread out his belly, rubbed his head against Agarth's palm, and used his little paws to ask Agarth to touch his belly.

"Haha, little guy." Agarth picked up Wenchet and got out of bed.

"Kaka, is there anything to eat? I'm hungry." Agarth looked at Kaka, who was about the same height as him.

"Young master, please go to the living room quickly. Mr. and Mrs. Scamander are waiting for you." Kaka handed Agarth a coat and put it on him.

Agarth nodded, ran to the bathroom nearby and quickly washed up before leaving the room.

"Grandma Tina, Mr. Scamander! Good morning!" Agarth ran to Tina who was sitting at the dining table, threw himself into her arms and rubbed against her, then raised his head and greeted her with a smile.

"Agarth, good morning. Come on, you must be hungry. Eat something." Tina picked up Agarth's small body and put it on a chair beside her.

"Agarth, you call Tina grandma, but you call me Mr. Scamander. You know, I knew you before Tina." Newt pretended to be angry and handed Agarth a knife and fork.

"You can call him Newt, he won't mind," Tina added.

Agarth touched his suddenly itchy neck and replied with a grin, "Okay, Grandpa Newt."

"Agarth, the magic in your body." Newt ate the bread in his mouth, hesitated for a moment, and looked at Agarth and said seriously: "I'm not sure if I can help you solve the magic in your body, but don't worry, since I have accepted the gift from your family, I will definitely do my best to help you."

"It's okay, Grandpa Newt." Agarth took a big bite of food without caring. He really didn't care about the magic riot in his body. After all, as long as he didn't die, it didn't matter if he was a squib. We are big modern people, so what can't we do? Besides, in another 40 or 50 years, in the era of rapid development of the Internet, it is still a question whether wizards can still hide.

However, Agarth's indifferent attitude at this time made Newt and Tina misunderstand. They just thought that this child, at such a young age, was indifferent to life and death and had no attachment to life.

Tina glared at Newt. This old guy had gotten older, but his emotional intelligence hadn't improved at all.

Newt gagged and dodged.

"Grandma Tina, my neck is itchy!" Agarth suddenly felt that his neck was so itchy that he couldn't stand it. He stretched out his little hand to scratch it, and then he couldn't help complaining to Tina beside him.

"Let me see." Tina looked at her neck which had been scratched red by Agarth, and found that there were suddenly dense and fine hairs on Agarth's neck.

"What is this?!" Newt exclaimed. The hairs were clearly visible, and the roots where they connected to the skin were slightly white, making them look like the feathers of a newly hatched thunderbird.

"Agarth, the thunderbird in the box you mentioned, its tribe is near your home?" Newt thought of the thunderbird he had just captured the day before yesterday, and remembered what Kaka said last night, that Agarth was born from a lifeless egg. He wondered if the source of Agarth's powerful magic was because the egg was a thunderbird egg, and thus he inherited the abilities of magical animals.

After all, it is not easy to find a ptarmigan egg. Ptarmigans are social animals, and solitary eggs are even rarer.

"Although it's near my home, it's still quite far away." Agarth nodded. He stretched out his little hand and kept scratching his neck. It was so itchy, as if the skin was expanding inch by inch, but it wasn't painful, just an unbearable itch.

"Okay, stop scratching, just bear with it." Newt reached out and touched Agarth's neck. He immediately felt a slight tingling sensation on his fingers, but Agarth's tender little hand seemed to feel nothing at all.

"It's good for you. It's not that easy for others to learn Animagus. I think I can guess why your body is so small, but your magic is so strong." Newt pinched Agarth's face and said something irrelevant.

"Huh? What is that?" Agarth hurriedly grabbed Newt. After all, he was at least 1.8 meters tall in his previous life. But in this life, he was eight years old and still less than 1 meter tall. It was really outrageous.

“Do you know the infancy of some animals?” Newt returned to his seat and continued with his unfinished breakfast.

"For young animals, the magic power in their bodies will continue to grow over time. At the same time, the increasing magic power will also refine their bodies, allowing their bodies to gradually adapt to the magic power in their bodies. This is why some magical animals shed their feathers, and the new feathers actually represent that their bodies have entered the next stage of growth."

Newt said, handing Agarth a mirror and motioning Agarth to look at his neck.

"You only feel your neck itchy, but when I touched you just now, I felt the feathers on your body prick my hand. Look carefully and see if there are any feathers growing out."

Upon hearing this, Agarth held the mirror against his neck. As Agarth breathed, he could vaguely see some tiny hairs floating.

"Does this, does this, does that mean that I will become an animal instead of a human?" Agarth asked anxiously.

"No, on the contrary. Have you heard of Animagus?" Newt shook his head. For a moment, he didn't know whether he should envy the boy's good luck or feel sad for his miserable growth period in the future.

Agarth nodded. Animagus, everyone knows this. Anyone who has read the original novel would want to rub the older cat lady, Professor McGonagall, one of the seven Animagus existing in this century.

"The conditions for a wizard to become an Animagus are extremely harsh, but you, Agarth, you are born an Natural Animagus."

Chapter 14: Where are the stairs?

Chapter Text

"Huh? A natural Animagus? Grandpa Newt, I've only heard of a natural Metamorphmagus. Is there such a thing as a natural Animagus?" Agarth was puzzled.

"We call it a natural Animagus, but in fact, it's just because you have the blood of magical animals, inherited the abilities from magical animals, and possess the characteristics of magical animals." Newt smiled with a little pride when talking about his strengths.

After all, ordinary wizards may feel that their bodies have changed when encountering these problems. However, Newt once met a wizard with unicorn blood. Although he could not transform into a unicorn, the blood of this wizard was the same as that of a unicorn, which was silver-white and could bring people back to life. However, people who drank his blood only had half life, and the other half was a life that had been cursed from the moment they drank its blood.

But even so, this wizard still couldn't escape the fate of being hunted like an animal. Thinking of this, a trace of sadness flashed in Newt's eyes.

"So, Agarth, don't show your abilities to others easily, and don't let others know about the changes in you." Newt touched Agarth's head and spoke lightly.

"The most difficult thing to guess in the world is the human heart, especially in the wizarding world."

Agarth nodded. Perhaps no one could understand this better than Agarth. After all, Song Chung in his previous life was exploited, became crazy, and died because of his specialness.

"So, Agarth, the reason why your body cannot grow is because you are still in the larval stage. Once your magic power increases again, it will cause your body to start growing. At that time, you will enter a crazy growth period like an animal."

"Look, the feathers on your neck are the best proof."

At this point, Newt seemed to have thought of something and suddenly burst into laughter.

"However, there is also a possibility that you may remain in the larval stage and fail to grow up. In other words, you may still be the same when you are eleven years old."

Newt noticed that Agarth's face darkened instantly after hearing what he said, and tried to comfort Agarth, but he couldn't help laughing even louder.

"Hahahaha, Agarth, don't be afraid. If this is really the case, it's actually better. This also shows that your bloodline is very powerful."

"Then there is no way to make my magic power grow at a rate that matches my body?" Agarth pondered for a while and put forward his idea again.

"No, the growth rules of animals are the same as those of wizards. Since magical animals grow in a harsher environment, powerful magic constantly refines their bodies. So you will find that the more powerful the magical animals are, the more difficult it is to break their shells with magic."

"But wizards are different. As their bodies grow, their magic power will also grow. However, the wizard's body is extremely fragile." Newt looked at the little person in front of him, whose brows were furrowed with worry, and stretched out his finger to touch Agarth's brow.

"Don't worry. If this happens, you won't be able to use the magic control ball. Instead, you need to train your body so that your body can catch up with the growth rate of your magic power."

Agarth suddenly realized something when he heard this, and said excitedly: "So, I don't have to suppress my magic power, but release it instead, is that what you mean?"

Because he was afraid that the magic riot would bring harm to the people around him, Agarth was suppressing the magic that was flowing wildly in his body all the time. However, the violent magic kept overflowing from his body, making Agarth always feel like he had to hold back his shit, but the shit just flowed out on its own.

That’s enough.

"Uh, what do you mean? You usually have to control your own magic?" Newt was shocked. After all, the scene last night was quite scary.

Agarth's unconscious magic riot is difficult to control, not to mention that if he no longer suppresses his magic, the scene will probably be an unimaginable disaster.

Agarth nodded.

"Suppressing your own magic power can easily cause Obscurus in your body. Did you know this?" Newt said angrily. He didn't know how Agarth's family taught this child. Didn't they know the harm of Obscurus?

"So Daddy prepared a magic wand for me, and told me to wave it whenever I feel itchy!" Of course Agarth knew this, otherwise why would Grindelwald agree to prepare a magic wand for a child under the age of eleven.

As he spoke, Agarth took out his wand from the ring in his hand and waved it towards Newt.

"Look! This is my wand!" Agarth held up the wand in his hand proudly.

Newt and Tina looked at Agarth's wand, which was as long as an A4 paper. He could only hold the small tail of the wand with one hand. They observed Agarth's height and were silent for a while.

Agarth noticed the two people's gazes, and angrily sank into the chair, trying to use the table to block their sight, and said angrily "Although, although it looks very long now, much longer than my hand, but I will definitely grow up in the future."

The two were silent for a while. Not knowing how to comfort Agarth, but seeing Agarth's angry look, Tina pinched Newt's waist and changed the subject.

"So, can you tell us about the core?"

"Of course, it's made of Abu's tail feathers. Abu is my best friend. She will take me wherever I ask her to go."

Speaking of Abu, Agarth just remembered that he couldn't let Newt know that Abu was a phoenix. He could only roll his eyes and shout, "I'm full, and you haven't told me how to exercise my body!"

"I only know that some magical animals use sleep to allow their bodies to keep up with the speed of changes in magic, but you definitely can't use this." Newt said this, as if he remembered something, he took Agarth's hand and walked to the suitcase in the bedroom.

He opened the suitcase and jumped in. After a while, he stretched out his hand from the suitcase and waved to Agarth, motioning him to come in.

Agarth didn't even wait for Newt to retract his hand before he leaped up and dove into the box.

Agarth had watched the movie Fantastic Beasts in his previous life, and knew that there was a staircase after entering the box, but why, where was the staircase? Where was the staircase?

Agarth screamed as his feet were empty and he continued to fall.

Newt, who was below, waved his wand hastily "Arresto Momentum!"

"I forgot to tell you, Agarth, if I want to get my box in, I have to hold on to the edge of the box first, until I feel something under my feet, then I can let go and come in."

Chapter 15: He did it on purpose

Chapter Text

Agarth rolled his eyes when he heard Newt say this, 'so why don't you just finish your words before letting me in.'

There is a staircase in the movie, where is this staircase???

Agarth was slowly carried to the ground by an invisible object.

'Looking up at the gap from which I came, I could see the remnants of a wooden handrail at the place where the gap was connected. It turns out there really is a staircase, where are the stairs? ?'

"What are you looking at?" Newt rolled up his sleeves, carrying a bucket of water, and looked down at Agarth who was looking up.

"Oh, you were looking at the stairs." Newt shrugged and waved his hand in front of Agarth's face.

"Because, some little guys always came out of the box using the stairs, so I took down the stairs. If you want to come down, you have to wait for a hidden staircase."

Newt smiled sheepishly at Agarth.

Agarth rolled his eyes at him again. 'Really? You let me in, why didn't you tell me earlier?'

"Hahahaha, let's go. You're lucky anyway, so it's okay!" Newt took Agarth's hand with his free hand, "I'll take you to broaden your horizons."

"Wow, this is the box world where you cast the Traceless Extension Spell and the Weather Spell!" Agarth passed through the utility room and walked out of the room. He was surprised to see the world suddenly bright in front of him.

It is summer outside and the weather is very hot, but the space inside the box is full of spring.

Under the sunlight, you can clearly see the green guardian trees growing in clusters not far away.

Newt grabbed a handful of insects hiding in the mud nearby, walked a few steps forward to the guardian tree, and called out to the bushes a few times.

"North! Nicole! Richie!" Newt raised a handful of insects in his hand and placed them next to the bushes. Several small green figures emerged from the bushes.

When he saw Newt, he started chattering to Newt.

For a moment, Agarth could only hear the voices of these Bowtruckles. They were either complaining about Newt being too slow in delivering food, or saying that Newt went out to play without them. There was also a particularly shy one that was hiding aside and secretly keeping an eye on Agarth.

"Okay, okay, this little guy is called Agarth. Don't be angry. I'll let you out when we get back to England. Not now." Newt pointed at the short Agarth.

Agarth looked at Newt strangely. Agarth could understand what these little guys were saying, but that was because he was born from a phoenix egg. But how could Newt understand the names of these animals?

"Although I don't understand what they are saying, I can understand what they are saying."

Newt knew what Agarth was confused about without even looking at his expression.

"I understand now." Agarth put his hand on his chin and nodded thoughtfully. Newt is indeed one of Dumbledore's favorites. 'If I were Dumbledore, I would love him too.'

"What do you understand?" Newt picked up the bucket beside him and ran to another slightly desolate sandy area. The weather here had turned into night. Newt put down the bucket, lowered his body and let out a thin howl.

"Nothing." Agarth chuckled, not daring to tell Newt what he was thinking.

"Moo~" A loud response came from the distance, and I felt a commotion underground. In just a moment, several huge horned beasts appeared in front of me.

Newt motioned Agarth to move aside, reached out his hand and touched the horned beasts in front of him affectionately, picked up the rag in the bucket at his feet, and gave the horned beasts in front of him a bath.

"These little guys have been with me for a long time. I have to give them a bath today, otherwise they will stink." Newt glanced at Agarth's small body.

"Agarth, stay away from them. You are too young. Last time Rolf came in, he was almost teased by these little bastards. You are even younger than Rolf, so stay away from them."

Agarth stuck out his tongue at Newt and took a few more steps back with an angry gait.

Although these guys actually didn't dare to provoke Agarth at all, after all, Agarth not only had the smell of the fake phoenix but also the smell of the real phoenix Abu, so they didn't believe that these animals dared to provoke him.

Even Coco, the thunderbird, only dared to scold Agarth instead of bullying him.

But Newt doesn't know this, 'so I'd better step back and bear it for now! I'll tell Newt later and shock him! Let him laugh at my body now!'

Humph. Agarth snorted coldly and looked up at Newt who was busy in front of him with his head held high.

'Little guy, you have a bad temper.' Newt took the time to look back at Agarth, smiling as he washed.

"Okay, we'll come back to the rest tonight. Now come with me." Newt finished the work in his hands, straightened his wrinkled clothes, and then said to Agarth who was about to fall asleep.

"Where are we going?" Agarth followed Newt's steps and slowly walked into a jungle with very tall bushes.

Some of the shortest shrubs around seemed much taller than Agarth.

"Troll." Newt took out a mask and handed it to Agarth.

"Troll?" Agarth took the mask and put it on, wondering why Newt would keep a troll in a box, knowing that trolls are very smelly and violent.

"This is Lackey. Don't think he is stupid just because he is a troll. He is the most intelligent troll I have ever seen." Newt pointed at the huge monster lying in the mud and picked up a small stone on the ground and threw it next to the giant monster.

"When you get close to Lackey, remember to throw a stone first, otherwise when he stands up, he accidentally steps on you and you're done for."

'Lackey? Ugh!' Agarth covered his nose and sighed. The name was really appropriate. The air around here was really suffocating. No wonder Grindelwald didn't agree to put trolls as security guards near Nurmengard. It was too smelly.

"Why aren't you talking?" Newt looked at Agarth at his feet.

Agarth raised his head and looked at Newt, trying to make his eyes speak so that Newt could see the speechlessness in his eyes.

"Oh, that stinks." Newt waved his wand at Agarth's nose. "Sniff it out."

"Hey, I almost forgot, you don't know magic yet."

Agarth was certain at this moment that Newt was deliberately playing a trick on him, otherwise, why would he remember to give him a mask but forget that he couldn't use magic?

He did it on purpose!! Agarth couldn't help but roll his eyes at Newt again.

"So, what are we doing here to see this giant?"

"Don't worry, didn't I tell you to release your magic and exercise your body? It just so happens that Lackey is perfect for playing with you."

Chapter 16: I Won't Be Too Gentle With You

Summary:

Poor baby

Chapter Text

"Hey! Lackey! We're coming over." Newt waved and shouted at Lackey who was slowly waking up in front of him.

"Woo woo~" Lackey in the distance responded to Newt, and Newt ran forward a few steps and spoke a few words in the troll language to Lackey.

Agarth didn't understand Newt specialness, but he could see Newt pointing at him while speaking, and then the troll kept waving the stick in his hand and making several excited noises.

Newt then ran back to Agarth and smiled at him.

"Remember what I said, release your magic and go play with Lackey. Don't worry, I just communicated with Lackey, he said he will treat you well and won't be too gentle with you."

'Huh?' Before Agarth could react, he saw Newt running away. After a sudden tremor, Lackey, who was far away, walked up to him in a few steps and stretched out a huge index finger to "gently" tap Agarth's head.

Agarth couldn't resist and with a "bang", he kissed the ground with his butt.

It hurts. Not only his head hurts, his butt hurts too. Agarth could feel a lump on his head after the finger went down, not to mention his butt hitting the ground hard.

"What are you doing!" Agarth touched his head with one hand and rubbed his butt with the other, yelling at Lackey.

"Ah?" Lackey was stunned. He could understand what the little guy said.

"Newt, play, with you." Lackey responded cryptically.

"You mean, Newt, let me play with you?" Agarth understood and translated it again.

Yeah!” Lackey nodded.

"Did he tell me how to play? Why does he want me to play with you? You are so big and I am so small." As he said that, Agarth used his hands to simulate the hugeness of Lackey and used his little finger to pinch out his own size for comparison.

"Like this!" Lackey stretched out his hand again, made a orchid finger shape, and flicked it towards Agarth's belly.

"@#$%! @#$%!" Agarth, flying in the air, cursed out a classic colorful curse.

What the hell is this called playing? This is one-sided masochism, okay? It's just playing with a chicken.

"Okay, fun." Lackey reached out to catch Agarth who was about to fall to the ground and smiled at Agarth.

"Play." As soon as he finished speaking, Lackey threw Agarth up, caught it, and threw it again, over and over again.

"Asshole." Agarth was shaken uncomfortably and felt pain all over his body. After all, the troll's skin was very hard, and when his body touched it, it was like an egg hitting a stone.

"Play, again." Lackey saw that the little thing in his hand suddenly stopped moving, so he brought Agarth closer to his eyes and rubbed it with a finger.

"Dead?" Agarth was tossed over and over, but there was no movement. Lackey thought he had killed him and started to get anxious. After all, he had promised Newt not to kill Agarth.

Just when Lackey was extremely anxious and just put Agarth on the ground, he saw several red lights suddenly flashing from inside Agarth's body, and these red lights rushed towards Lackey's legs with a sharp edge.

With a "swish" sound, several tiny cuts appeared on the skin of Lackey's legs, and some green blood flowed out of the wounds.

"Ah, hurts." Lackey cried out, and sat down on the ground with a thud. He looked stupidly at his calf that was bleeding, and looked at Agarth angrily.

Newt told him it was just fun, but now that he was bleeding, it wasn't fun anymore.

"Who told you to be so rough with me?" Agarth stepped back before yelling at Lackey.

"Newt, play! No!" Lackey explained.

"This is the price of playing with me." Agarth didn't want to listen anymore, so he took out his wand from his ring and pointed it at Lackey.

But the wand didn't stay in his hand for long before it suddenly flew out.

"Expelliarmus!"

Newt, who was hanging on a tall bush, caught the flying wand with his left hand and said to Agarth, "Release your magic power like you did just now, but don't use the wand."

"You need to carefully experience the feeling of the magic passing through every part of your body. This feeling is the feeling of your body growing."

"Lackey, that's it, keep playing."

Hearing Newt's words, Lackey nodded, grabbed Agarth, and threw him again, but in the process of catching him, he kept hitting Agarth's butt with his other hand.

"Too much!" Agarth covered his butt with his hands and was tossed around helplessly, but there was nothing he could do. He could only use all his strength to release his magic as Newt said.

However, Lackey had learned from the lesson just now that as soon as he saw Agarth about to release the red light, he would throw Agarth to the ground, and the rolling dust on the ground would instantly bury Agarth.

The magic released by Agarth would only lift up the dust that had just buried him, and then he would be caught by Lackey again, thrown, caught, and thrown.

To be caught, thrown, caught, and thrown.

After repeating this several times, Agarth felt that he could no longer generate any magic power in his body and could only lie in Lackey's palm like a salted fish.

However, the strange thing is that after all the magic power was released this time, the body did not feel torn apart. Instead, the blood in the body seemed to be flowing rapidly, and there was no longer the feeling of wanting to release magic power due to the blockage in the past.

"Okay, Lackey, that's all for now. I'll play with you again tomorrow." Newt fell back to the ground and stretched out his hand to Lackey.

Lackey glanced reluctantly at Agarth in his palm and whimpered at Newt.

"Tomorrow, continue playing?"

"Yes, we'll continue tomorrow. I'm not lying to you." Newt responded.

Lackey then nodded and placed the now limp Agarth in Newt's arms.

Newt then realized that Agarth's face was bruised and his clothes were torn. The skin exposed by the torn parts was blue-black.

Newt said in a panic, "Agarth, I'm helping you. If Tina sees this, you have to explain it to her."

Agarth wanted to open his eyes and roll his eyes at Newt, but his eyes were so swollen that he could only roll his eyeballs to indicate that he was still alive.

But Newt thought Agarth had promised to explain himself, so he carried Agarth and prepared to walk out of the box.

"Don't think I'm torturing you. Only in this way can your body be beaten up and keep up with the growth rate of magic power. Otherwise, no matter how powerful the magic power is, it will only be blocked in the body and cannot burst out, becoming a dud."

Although Agarth thought Newt's method was crude, he had to admit that it was effective.

At least, it's more useful than what Grindelwald said, that if you feel itchy hands, just wave the magic wand.

Chapter 17: Warm Feeling

Chapter Text

"Newt, what did you do!" Tina put down the book in her hand and looked up to see Newt coming out of the box holding Agarth, who was dirty and had blue-black skin on his bare arms.

He hurriedly took a few steps forward, reached out and gently touched Agarth, whose face was already bruised and swollen, and glared at Newt with his big eyes filled with anger.

"Well, Tina, heal Agarth first." Newt put Agarth on a chair beside him, reached into the box, took out a huge medicine box, and took out several bottles of Dittany and several jars of medicine from the box and handed them to Tina.

"Have you forgotten that he is only eight years old and not even as tall as little Rolf?" Tina complained while applying medicine to Agarth.

Although Agarth's wounds healed quickly due to the effects of the potion, the horrific scars looked even more terrifying.

"Look, Tina, do you think Agarth's hair seems to have grown a little longer?" Newt squinted his eyes and observed that Agarth's originally shoulder-length black hair had now grown to an inch below his shoulders.

It was much longer than when I first saw Agarth, but the color of the hair that was emerging from the roots was somehow glowing red.

Newt suddenly remembered the flashes of red light when Agarth released his magic just now, and thought that it was Agarth's magic that caused the hair to change color. He observed Agarth carefully again to see if there would be any other changes.

"It does seem to have grown a little, but that's not a reason for you to hurt him like this!" Tina dealt with Agarth, turned around and gave Newt a loving pinch. Newt cried out in pain.

"I'm helping this kid, why don't you ask him!"

Newt retorted in a low voice, but did not avoid Tina's "love pinch". He just used his eyes to hint to Agarth who had woken up to explain himself.

At this time, the pain in his body gradually subsided. Instead, Agarth felt extremely comfortable. He pretended to frown, and with his bruised face, he pretended to look at Tina who was not far away from him with blurry eyes, and said vaguely,

"Grandma Tina, don't be angry. Grandpa Newt just asked Lackey to play with me. It doesn't matter to me. It's all for my own good."

"Lackey?" Tina's tone suddenly rose.

"Is it the troll you rescued from Edinburgh?" Tina didn't finish her words and reached out to pinch Newt's waist again.

"The teeth of that troll are bigger than Agarth's. You let them play together? What are they playing? Are they playing with you like I am?"

"No, no! It's just an ordinary little game, like chasing me or something." The more Newt spoke, the more he thought of Agarth being thrown and caught in Lackey's hands, and his tone became lower and lower, until only a few humming and mumbling remained.

"Agarth, hurry up and drink this bottle of stabilizing potion now." Newt cleverly changed the subject and handed Agarth the magic stabilizing potion given by his family.

"Great!" After drinking a bottle of grape-flavored potion in one breath, the blood in the body flowed smoothly to the heart, "Boom!" The powerful sound seemed to tell Agarth that the previous practice of suppressing magic power was wrong. Only at this moment did Agarth truly gain control over his own body.

"Meow~" Wenchet, who smelled the scent of grapes, rushed from the living room into Agarth's arms, and kept calling out to Agarth's mouth, occasionally using his little paws to pick at the medicine bottle in Agarth's hand.

"Okay, okay, Wenchet, I've finished all of this. I'll ask Kaka to make you other more delicious drinks later." Agarth stroked Wenchet's hair and responded to the little fat cat who kept saying "Smells good! Smells good!" to him.

Wenchet stopped what he was doing after hearing what Agarth said, yawned, and climbed onto Agarth's shoulder. He curled up on Agarth's neck, rested his head on Agarth's right shoulder, and fell asleep.

"This bottle of magic stabilizer your family gave me is very effective, but I don't know what's in it. It smells greasy." Newt smelled the sweet smell in the air, frowned and waved his hand, trying to get rid of the smell.

Agarth blinked his eyes. Although he didn't know what Newt meant by "greasy", this smell was specially developed by Grindelwald because he knew he liked the taste of grapes. It smelled so good. Newt really didn't know what appreciation was.

"Agarth, do you feel unwell now?" Tina looked at Agarth's face and asked with relief.

"I feel so comfortable now, I've never been more comfortable than now!" Agarth seemed extremely excited when talking about this.

After all, a good person who travels through time and space has to hold back his poop for several years, which is not only very uncomfortable, but also tests one's mentality.

'But now it feels like every pore of my body is releasing air, and the flow of magic power in my body is very smooth. It's not like before when it was blocked and wanted to come out, but it can't all come out at once, and I have to hold it back and let it out bit by bit. Really, this kind of description makes anyone feel like they are holding in shit, right?'

“Then let’s continue after lunch. Maybe you can grow to the height of an eight-year-old before you go to school at the age of 11.” Newt chuckled, holding his chin with his hand and glancing around Agarth’s short stature.

"Don't worry, I will definitely grow taller than you in the future!" Agarth glared back at Newt angrily.

The book clearly said that Newt Scamander was gentle and shy, and would be very socially anxious when meeting strangers.

However, who would have thought that the real Newt was indeed a gentle old man when they first met, but the more they got along with him, the more they felt that Newt was very childish at heart and looked very naive.

"Okay, Newt, don't be angry with Agarth." Tina looked at Newt who was fighting with the child in front of her, and coaxed Agarth a few more words.

"Agarth, look, your hair has grown longer. It looks like Newt's method is really working."

When Agarth heard Tina say this, he quickly took out a mirror to look at himself. Under the orange light in the room, he could vaguely see that the newly grown hair was red.

'Red! Hide!'

Agarth hurriedly pulled out a huge baseball cap from the ring and put it on his head, swaying his body in a rock and roll style, singing a few words of an English song that was completely out of tune.

After singing, he looked at Newt and Tina with anticipation "am I handsome? Does it give you a warm feeling?"

Chapter 18: Handsome Looks

Chapter Text

Although at this moment, Newt and Tina had a bit of a hard time understanding what Agarth was saying.

But by looking at Agarth, who now has one foot on the ground and the other on the chair, swinging his flowing long hair wildly, one can guess a little bit, probably asking himself if he dances well?

"Hmm..." Tina pondered for a while, thinking about how to tell him that his behavior was stupid without hurting the little guy's feelings.

But Newt had no such concerns at all. Instead, he laughed and patted Agarth on the shoulder,

"Agarth, I think the Weird Sisters will definitely like you. You fit the spirit of their band perfectly."

'What spirit? The spirit of a fool?' Agarth, who was filled with hatred and resentment, could not help but roar in his heart.

'If it wasn't for covering up the color of my new hair, would I have done such a stupid thing!'

'If my face didn't look so much like Dumbledore, would I still need to hide like this?'

If not, if that old guy Grindelwald hadn't been thinking of Dumbledore when he was transferring magic power to himself, he wouldn't have looked so much like a little girl, and instead would not have inherited the handsomeness of the Emperor at all.

He should be thankful that Grindelwald didn't know Agarth's inner thoughts at the moment, otherwise Grindelwald would have come all the way from Nurmengard to assassinate him.

Moreover, it is not the transfer of magic that causes Agarth and Dumbledore to be similar. It is clearly the role played by Dumbledore's blood when the blood is transferred into the eggshell.

Grindelwald's original idea was to have a child who looked very similar to himself, so that when the child went to Hogwarts, he would be able to see Dumbledore's shocked expression.

But what he never expected was that the older Agarth got, the more he looked like Dumbledore. This didn't shock Dumbledore at all, but instead made him feel more and more complicated.

Especially since Agarth had a face like a smaller version of Dumbledore, but kept pretending to be a good boy in front of him. The more he thought about it, the more angry he became.

But, unfortunately, Agarth didn't know any of these things.

"Don't listen to what Newt says, that band doesn't sing well." Tina wrinkled her nose in disgust. Although she didn't agree with Agarth's taste, she still put on a stiff smile and comforted Agarth.

"But, you're only eight years old, you should be playing something lively."

"Agarth, when you get home, I'll introduce you to little Rolf. He's like a taciturn person. He just stays in his box every day and doesn't want to go out to play."

This was not the first time Agarth had heard of little Rolf from the two men. He wondered who this character was, since he was not mentioned in the book.

"Little Rolf?"

"He's my little grandson, the same age as you," Tina replied.

"Although Rolf is the same age as you, he is much taller than you." Newt once again rubbed salt into Agarth's wounds.

Although Agarth knew that Newt was seeking revenge for his recent snitching, he still couldn't help but roll his eyes at Newt.

In his little account book, he wrote down the following line at the bottom of the Grindelwald page, Before returning to Austria, kidnap Newt Scamander's most beloved magical creature!

Seeing that Agarth didn't respond to him, and seeing that Tina's eyes were already blazing with anger, Newt took a few steps back tactfully, "I remembered that Momo didn't see him today. I wonder where this little guy went. I have to look for him."

After saying that, he turned around and ran back to the box. His movements were so fast that he seemed afraid that Agarth would catch up and punch him.

Agarth curled his lips and said, "You're lucky you ran fast, otherwise I would have used the beard-shaving technique on you and left you with Grindelwald's beard!"

"Grandma Tina, I want to go back to my room and sleep." Agarth said with a slight yawn.

"Go quickly, it's time for lunch, I'll let Kaka call you later."

Agarth nodded, hopped off his chair, and trotted back to his room.

As soon as he closed the door, Agarth took out a small mirror that looked very delicate and small, and called "Dad" several times into the mirror.

The handle of the mirror felt slightly hot, and the mirror that originally reflected Agarth's face suddenly lit up, and Grindelwald's appearance flashed on the other side of the mirror.

"Agarth, have you finally remembered me?" Grindelwald asked in a slightly low voice with raised eyebrows.

"I wanted to contact you yesterday, but the magic power was rioting yesterday." Agarth scratched his head embarrassedly, not daring to tell Grindelwald that he had indeed forgotten to contact him. He just thought that he had finally been able to go out and play without having to face Grindelwald's face.

"Kaka didn't tell me about this when he came back yesterday." Grindelwald put down the pen in his hand after hearing this.

"That's because it happened after Kaka came back here." Thinking of this, Agarth put the mirror to his neck, stroked the fine hair on his neck with his small hands, and pinched out a strand to show Grindelwald.

"Look, my feathers are growing out, Grandpa Newt said it's because I was born an Animagus."

Although Grindelwald couldn't see the changes in Agarth very clearly through the two-way mirror, his extensive knowledge allowed him to instantly understand the meaning of Agarth's words.

No wonder Agarth's body showed no signs of growth after the age of four, but his magic power became stronger and stronger as he got older. If this happened to a magical animal, it would answer this question very well.

However, He's afraid that Agarth's body will not be able to keep up with the growth rate of magic power. In the end, the weak body will be broken by the surging magic power, or the magic power will not have enough space to grow and become a dud who can no longer cast magic.

"And more! My hair has grown longer. It's not from hair growth potion, it's really growing on its own! Look, it's red when it grows out." Agarth took off his hat and tried hard to pull his hair apart with his little hands to show Grindelwald.

"..." Grindelwald was silent for a moment.

"Did you see it?" Agarth raised his little head excitedly and asked with his big eyes blinking.

"Agarth, the two-way mirror can only let me see your appearance and communicate with you in real time. It doesn't mean that I can see all your hair clearly."

"Oh." 'What a bummer. If you didn't see it, just say you didn't see it, but you still have to say a lot of nonsense.'

Agarth put his hands on his hips again, happily stood the mirror on the desk, turned around and jumped around the room.

He was finally growing up. Thinking about his height in his previous life, which was 179.8 or 185.2 (fact. 180.2, he's in delusion) cm when rounded off, Agarth couldn't help but clench his fists.

'My handsome look is finally coming back!'

Chapter 19: Unable to Destroy

Chapter Text

"......" Grindelwald on the other side of the two-way mirror clenched his back teeth, put down the mirror standing next to the desk, and hung up this "long-distance call" with no beginning or end.

However, it is not that there are no discoveries.

Agarth's face has indeed grown a little since he left. After all, it's a face that Grindelwald faces every day, so he can't help but notice this little change.

This means that the previous methods have always been wrong. No wonder Agarth never grew up after the age of four.

'It is also my fault that I was too nervous. I only thought about the changes in the wizard's magic power and ignored Agarth's peculiarity.'

It seems that there is no need to improve any magic stabilizing potion in the future.

Of course, Agarth, who was still upstairs, didn't notice that the person he was talking to on the other side of the two-way mirror had already left.

Agarth made a fuss for a while, but couldn't hold back his eyelids from fighting each other, so he cast a "Cleanse" spell on himself and fell onto the bed. Then, a small breathing sound was heard in the room.

When Agarth was sleeping soundly, the quilt beside him floated up and slowly covered Agarth's waist and abdomen.

When Agarth was awakened from his sleep by hunger, the room had already become dim.

Through the window, he could faintly hear the sound of waves hitting the hull.

“20:11”

Agarth looked at the time in the air and touched his stomach. No wonder he felt so hungry. He had slept from day to night.

"Kaka, is there anything to eat? Don't wake up Grandma Tina and Grandpa Newt. Bring me something to eat." Agarth thought about it and called Kaka.

"Little master! You're finally awake!" As soon as Agarth's voice fell, Kaka appeared in front of the bed. Kaka clenched his little hands and leaned his head to observe Agarth.

"Mrs. Scamander ordered that you tell her if you wake up." This time, Kaka did not listen to Agarth. Instead, he shook his head and ran outside to call Tina and Newt.

The soundproofing inside the ship was not very good, and Kaka's sharp voice alone had actually attracted Newt and Tina from the living room.

"Thank Merlin! Agarth, you finally woke up. If you didn't wake up, we would have to let Kaka take you home." Newt complained to Agarth with a bitter face.

"No! I won't go back." Agarth, who didn't even hear what Newt said, shook his head frantically when he heard that he was asked to go home.

'I finally managed to get out of Nurmengard, but now I have to go back. That would be so boring.'

"I'm glad you woke up. You slept from yesterday to tonight, and we will be in England tomorrow." Tina breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Agarth's rosy face.

"Newt said that because it's your first time to fully release your magic, your body needs an adaptation process, which is why you sleep so deeply, just like some magical animals."

'So I slept for two days? No wonder I was so hungry and my stomach was growling.'

Agarth got up from the bed and was about to get out when Tina stopped him.

Tina took the plate handed to her by Kaka and placed it in front of Agarth.

"Don't get up, just eat like this, Agarth, you must be very hungry now."

Agarth nodded, picked up the bread and started to eat it. Although he really hated eating bread with butter and ham, he was so hungry that he didn't care about it. As long as he could fill his stomach, it was good enough.

"But, Agarth, your hair seems to have grown longer after you slept?"

Newt had actually noticed Agarth's new hair when he entered the room, but the new hair was actually red, while the ends of the hair were black. Was it a mutation?

Agarth paused chewing and thought, 'This is bad.'

Before he even swallowed the food he was chewing, he said, "Really? I'll have to take a closer look later."

"How come your hair is red?" Newt asked again.

"Red? It's probably because of my magic. No matter what kind of magic I use, it's always red."

Agarth thought quickly and made up an excuse.

He ate all the food in big mouthfuls, then took out his wand and raised it, "Lumos!"

At this moment, the tip of the wand suddenly emitted a dazzling red light, and Agarth's fluorescent flash was very different from that of ordinary wizards.

When other wizards cast a fluorescent flash, it was a white light the size of a soybean, but Agarth's fluorescent flash was not only red, but as Agarth input magic power, the light suddenly grew larger and larger, turning into a sphere with a diameter of about thirteen inches, before it detached from the tip of the wand and floated into the air. At this time, the entire room was shrouded in red light.

"..." Tina twitched the corner of her mouth. She didn't dare to look directly at the dazzling red ball in the sky. She just looked at Agarth for a long time without saying a word.

"Agarth, are you going to sleep tonight?" Newt blinked his dry eyes and reached out to take Agarth's wand.

"When you can completely control your magic power, I will give it back to you."

After all, if you don't put away this kid's wand, you don't know what tricks he will play, especially when he is such a powerful little monster.

Agarth could only watch helplessly as the wand he had just obtained slipped away from him.

However, when he heard Newt mention sleep, he felt more and more sleepy, and he could hardly open his eyes. He had just woken up, so why was he sleepy again?

"Grandpa Newt, I think I really want to sleep again." Agarth spoke softly, his whole body slowly slid back, fell back onto the bed, and fell into a deep sleep.

Tina quickly looked at Newt: "Agarth, is this really okay?"

"It's okay. The more he sleeps now, the faster he will grow when he wakes up. Otherwise, he will always be like this and never grow up."

"Okay." Tina nodded and pointed her wand at the "red ball" in the air.

"Nox!"

Tina's magic wand flashed, but the "red ball" in the air showed no sign of extinguishing, and it hung in the air without any fluctuations.

"Nox!" Tina pointed again.

"Can't extinguish it? Tina, has your aim deteriorated?" Newt said in a low voice while looking at the unchanged red light, but Tina rolled her eyes in return.

"Then you try it."

"I'll try, Nox!" Newt shrugged and waved Agarth's wand.

However, not only did the magic not come out, but the light from the tip of the wand went along the body of the wand and reached Newt's hand holding the wand. The entire wand emitted a scorching heat, which directly burned a wound on the palm of Newt's hand.

"Ouch!"

Newt subconsciously let go, and Agarth's wand fell from the air. In an instant, as if it had regained consciousness, it slowly flew back to Agarth's hand. As it flew back, the wand shook towards Newt, as if laughing at Newt's panic.

"This wand doesn't seem to like me using it."

Chapter 20: Coco doesn't eat his fruit

Chapter Text

"That's because, because only the young master can use her." Kaka carefully covered Agarth with the quilt, but did not dare to touch the wand in Agarth's hand.

"Her?" Newt and Tina looked at Kaka strangely.

"Because Abu is a bad bird! Her feathers are bad feathers too! No one is allowed to touch her except her little master!"

"Oh, I remember now. So, Agarth said that the core of his magic wand is made of feathers from a bird called Abu? Abu is a female?"

"Kaka doesn't know, Kaka can't say!" Kaka then remembered that he couldn't let anyone find out that Abu was a phoenix. He could only mutter that he didn't know and disappeared in the room.

"Okay, don't ask all kinds of questions when it comes to animals." Tina interrupted Newt's thoughts. She was helpless about the dazzling red light in the sky, so she could only pull Newt out of the room.

"I don't know how long it will take for this red light to dissipate on its own."

"Looking at Agarth's magic power, it will probably be light tomorrow." Newt made a conservative estimate. After all, the ability to cut the troll's skin without using magic, but just using a little bit of magic power, is not something that an ordinary wizard can do.

The morning sun rose along the coastline. The ship that was originally sailing on the seabed suddenly rose from the sea to the sea level. Rays of sunlight shone through the window onto Agarth's face.

Agarth mumbled something, turned over, and went back to sleep.

Newt and Tina knocked on the door and looked at the "red ball" in the sky whose light was getting weaker and weaker. They called Agarth who was still sleeping a few times, and when they saw that Agarth had no response, they left the room.

"Kaka, pack up Agarth's things. He may have to sleep until tomorrow. We are about to get off the ship." Newt gave Kaka some instructions.

"Poor Agarth, he slept for three days without even getting out of the room to have some fun."

Tina felt sorry for Agarth. After all, she saw many cute little girls on the cross-border cruise ship.

But, luckily Tina didn't mention it to Agarth.

Otherwise, Agarth would have to tear off his clothes to show Tina his true face. I am more than a 1.8-meter-tall man! A man!

How could I do such a thing that would destroy the flowers of the future! I am not Grindelwald, the bad boy who kidnapped teenagers.

However, Agarth didn't know any of this. After all, who would have thought that there was a 26-year-old soul living in Agarth's small body.

However, considering Agarth's pretending to be well-behaved and lovely, it's no wonder that Tina likes Agarth so much.

In just a blink of an eye, Newt picked up Agarth from the room, followed Tina, and looked at the ship docked at the port. Kaka helped carry the box and got off the ship.

The few of them walked quickly to a shabby little bar, gave the owner two Sickles, and then walked to the fireplace nearby.

"Kaka, let's go to Inka Bookstore first." Newt told Kaka. After Tina walked into the fireplace, he grabbed a handful of Floo powder and sprinkled it on the fireplace. After the green light flashed, he hugged Agarth and said, "Inka Bookstore."

After passing the fireplace and coming out of the bookstore, they walked to a street lamp on the corner, touched a small stone on the ground, and were instantly transported to the door of a manor covered with vines.

"I don't know if little Rolf misses me." Tina looked at the house in front of her, quickly opened the door, and walked quickly into the hall.

"Don't worry. I guess Rolf is definitely in the garden right now. At this time, he is probably helping take care of the Augurey bird that is about to give birth."

After Newt finished speaking, he carried Agarth up to the second floor, opened the room at the corner of the second floor stairs, and put Agarth on the bed that had been made long ago.

“It seems like this little guy is really growing up. Just after holding him for a while, I can feel that he has become a lot heavier.” Newt rubbed his wrist and sighed.

"Grandma! Grandpa! Are you back?" A timid voice came from downstairs to the second floor.

Looking down the stairs, they saw a curly-haired boy in a gray robe rolling up his sleeves, holding the handrail with his little hands, and slowly walking up the stairs.

"Rolf, how have you been these days? Have you taken good care of those little guys?" Newt asked his grandson whether he had taken good care of his animals.

But Rolf didn't care about it. Instead, he nodded happily and smiled shyly, "They are willing to get close to me and take care of me."

Rolf inherited Newt's characteristics and seems to have a unique charm, which makes him very popular with magical animals. He is also very shy and does not like to deal with people. He only likes to stay with magical animals.

"What about you guys? Did you rescue the Thunderbird?" Rolf walked to Tina's side.

Although he was curious about who was lying on the bed, the Thunderbird seemed to be more attractive to him.

"Yes, it's inside." Tina pointed to the box at her feet and winked at Rolf.

Then he pointed to Agarth on the bed and said, "This is a child who is recuperating in our home. He is asleep now. I will introduce him to you after Agarth wakes up. Now let's go see Thunderbirds, shall we?"

Rolf nodded excitedly not really heard completely only the thunderbird part.

During the three days that Agarth was asleep, Newt and Tina went into the box many times to say hello to Coco. Now Coco wants to live in the box.

After all, when he was in the tribe, he would be bullied by his brothers and sisters just because he ate too much. But in Newt's box, he could find all kinds of fruits, and no birds would compete with him for them. This life was much better than before.

Coco in the box flew in the air, flapped her wings excitedly, and seemed to smell a hint of Newt's scent.

It fluttered its huge wings, descended from the sky to the ground, and called out a few times to Newt and his group.

Rolf stared at Coco, who had powerful wings and silver-white feathers, and pulled Newt's trouser legs tightly, pushing and pulling Newt, wanting him to introduce himself to the thunderbird quickly.

"Don't worry, Coco has a good personality. As long as she has food, she will be very well behaved." Newt stroked Rolf's little curly hair and understood his excitement.

'When I was young, wasn't I just like Rolf?'

"Come, like this, hold up the fruit, slowly approach Coco, and slowly introduce yourself. If Coco is willing to eat your fruit, you can touch him, understand?"

The moment Newt raised the fruit, Coco came over, ate the fruit in Newt's hand, and glanced at Rolf who was holding the fruit and waiting for his favor.

#This human has the smell of a good person in front of him. However, I don’t know if he is as annoying as an annoying person. He looks just as pretentious as an annoying person.

But Coco did not eat his fruit.

Coco flapped her wings at Rolf, took a few steps back, and flew away.

Chapter 21: Deceptive Statement

Chapter Text

Rolf stared blankly at the flying cocoa, then looked at the unpicked fruit in his hand, pursed his lips, and looked at Newt with tears in his eyes.

"Grandpa, Ro- Rolf..." Rolf grew up to know everyone, except for some magical animals that were obviously malicious towards humans.

However, it was obvious that the thunderbird in front of him, which his grandfather had rescued from the United States, clearly did not like him.

Newt watched Coco snatch away a handful of his fruits, tease Rolf with her wings, and then fly into the air, howling. Under Rolf's pitiful gaze, Newt could only retract his open palm, clench it into a fist, hold back the smile on his lips, and cough lightly.

"Rolf, this thunderbird might have been hurt by the little wizard, so it has a lot of malice towards the little wizard." Newt thought of what Agarth said, that he burned Coco's feathers, and looking at Coco's attitude towards the little wizard, it was obvious that it was holding a grudge.

But it's not surprising, as the Thunderbird is indeed an animal that holds grudges, not to mention that Agarth angered the same Thunderbird once or twice.

"But, the Thunderbird is so powerful, how could it be hurt by a little wizard? The little wizard is not even as big as one of the Thunderbird's legs."

Rolf didn't understand. The little wizard couldn't even use magic, so how could he hurt a magical animal classified as XXXX level.

Grandpa thinks Rolf is stupid for saying that the little wizard hurt the thunderbird! Rolf wrinkled his nose and scratched a few strands of hair that were blowing into his eyes. At this time, his dark brown curls were already messed up by the strong wind created by Coco.

"There is still some." Newt thought of Lackey's scratched calf, the red ball that could not be extinguished, and Agarth's powerful magic, and replied silently.

“Yes? Bigger than the Thunderbird’s legs?” Rolf thought Newt was talking about a little wizard whose legs were bigger than those of a Thunderbird. He looked at Newt in shock and curiosity, wishing that Newt would introduce him to a little wizard.

"No, there are still little wizards who can harm some powerful magical animals."

"Oh, who is that? Grandpa, do you know them?"

Rolf racked his brains but couldn't remember any child that was so amazing among the people Newt knew.

"Didn't you just see it?" Newt smiled at Rolf.

Rolf then remembered that his grandparents had brought back a child, but he was so eager to see the Thunderbird that he didn't even see what the child looked like and just pulled his grandfather into the box.

"Oh, Grandpa, you haven't told me why you brought back someone younger than me!" Rolf said coquettishly with a slightly jealous tone and pouted his lips.

“Didn’t Tina say the child came to our house to recuperate?” Newt took Rolf’s hand and pulled him out of the box.

"Come on, let's go check on Wendy. Is she about to give birth?"

"Yes! I was going to ask Sally to send you a letter to hurry you home."

Rolf then remembered the Augurey bird at home that was about to give birth. Although the bird was about to give birth, its feelings for Rolf were not as deep as those for Newt. So in recent days, whenever Rolf approached Wendy's nest, he would be driven away by Wendy's cries.

"Go and have a look."

After the two came out of the box, they went straight to the basement, passed through layers of stairs, and arrived at a garden with a huge lawn. The southeast corner of the garden was overgrown with weeds.

The two looked at a corner covered with thorns, and saw a teardrop-shaped nest between the tree trunks, in the middle of which was a divination bird with dark green feathers and a sharp long beak lying.

In the nest, Wendy heard the sound and raised her head alertly. It was not until she saw Newt and Rolf that she called out a few times in relief.

"Hey, Wendy, are you okay?" Newt slowly reached out his hand, took Wendy out of the nest, and carefully observed Wendy's abdomen.

"Chi~" Wendy pecked Newt's finger with her sharp peck.

"Good girl, let me see." Newt touched Wendy's bulging belly and felt it was hard.

At this time, the feathers on Wendy's abdomen had been inflated by her bulging body, and she would rub her bulging abdomen with her sharp pecks from time to time.

The originally dense feathers on her abdomen were rubbed by her and some of them fell off. It can be seen that the egg in her stomach seemed to make Wendy extremely uncomfortable.

"Wendy has been pecking at her own feathers this morning. I think she is about to give birth, otherwise she wouldn't be in such pain." Rolf moved closer to Newt and looked at Wendy in his arms with heartache.

"Yes." Newt felt Wendy's abdomen start to beat wildly, and hurriedly ordered Rolf: "Go get some white fresh."

Rolf heard it, nodded, and turned to run to the tool room in the basement. The family's usual potions and herbs were all placed in the tool room.

"Good girl, take your time, don't be in a hurry."

Newt stroked Wendy's head and gently put Wendy back into the nest.

Newt cannot interfere too much with the laws of the animal world.

The augury bird in front of us is about to give birth. After the augury bird becomes pregnant, the eggs in its belly will become bigger and bigger, causing great pain to the mother bird. However, as long as the birth goes smoothly and the mother bird is well taken care of, nothing will go wrong.

Many augury birds die as soon as their eggs fall to the ground. This is because the eggshells are hard and huge, which makes the mother bird very uncomfortable. It is difficult for an augury bird to survive without an owner.

In addition, the divination bird can predict the coming heavy rain by making a howling sound, but wizards have always believed that the divination bird's shrill cry foreshadows death, so they will not choose to raise the divination bird.

This is also the reason why Augurey eggs are valuable but Augurey birds are not.

In the nest, Wendy lay there in pain, shallow breaths coming out of her nostrils, and the beating of her abdomen became more and more intense.

Along with Wendy's painful howls, a drizzle began to fall in the small garden. The raindrops gradually became larger, and Newt stood aside, and could only reach out his hand from time to time to gently soothe Wendy's head.

Rolf, who took the potion and ran back, also clenched his fists and cheered Wendy on.

After a long time, until Wendy's breathing became rapid, a gray-green egg slid out of Wendy's body with streams of mucus, and Wendy seemed to have used up all her strength.

He could only look at Newt with his eyes and make small noises, as if he was saying something to Newt.

Newt took the difficile from Rolf and applied the medicine to Wendy's bloody abdomen that she had bitten herself.

While praising Wendy in her mouth, "Good girl, good girl, it's very healthy."

Newt placed the Augurey egg laid by Wendy under her wings. Wendy gently covered the egg with her wings, curled up her head, and the whole bird curled up into a ball and fell into a deep sleep.

Newt reinforced Wendy's nest again, and after confirming that it was correct, he took Rolf, who was already drenched by the heavy rain, back home.

Chapter 22: This is a nickname

Chapter Text

After Rolf begged his grandfather to cast a "cleansing" spell on him, he saw his grandfather walking towards Tina who was busy in the kitchen, bent over and picked up Wenchet who was lying on the sofa in the living room, and ran to the room on the second floor where Agarth lived.

Rolf secretly opened the door and was about to quietly approach the bed to take a peek, when he suddenly saw a white light coming towards his abdomen. When he stepped back to dodge, he lost his balance and fell to the ground with his buttocks.

"Sneaky little wizard!" A sharp voice rang in Rolf's ears.

Kaka put his hands on his hips angrily and looked at Rolf who was sitting on the floor.

"No!" Rolf rubbed his sore butt and explained aggrievedly.

"My name is Rolf, and I'm Newt Scamander's grandson. I'm just, just curious about what the powerful kid my grandfather talked about looks like."

Rolf had never seen his grandfather praise any other young wizard, and Agarth was the only one.

Kaka let down his guard when he heard Rolf's answer, and raised his head proudly when he heard him praise his little master as a powerful wizard.

"Of course the young master is the most powerful wizard!"

'My Amy also thinks I'm the greatest wizard!' Rolf scoffed at what the house-elf said.

Every house-elf feels that it is great to have a master. After all, the concept of serving wizards has been deeply engraved in their blood.

Rolf stood up, walked around Kaka in front of him, went to the bed, and looked at Agarth who was sleeping soundly on the bed.

The bed in Newt's house is covered with pink and white lace sheets, and the bed next to it is dark brown.

Agarth was sleeping soundly, but his physical growth had been severely suppressed in the past few years. Just a simple release of magic power made his body grow rapidly.

The red hair, which had originally only appeared a little bit, has now grown to the level of the eyebrows, with the eyebrows pointing downwards. The shoulder-length hair that was turned black by Grindelwald before going out has already gone past the shoulders. The junction of the red and black hair colors does not appear abrupt, but instead slowly transitions to black.

Agarth's mouth kept making sounds in his sleep, and a few words in another language came out from time to time, and his fair and tender face was smiling as if he had eaten something delicious.

Agarth's long hair draped over the pink and white bed made her already fair complexion even fairer and cuter.

This was the first time Rolf met Agarth.

Rolf had never seen such a beautiful child before he was eight years old. He only thought that the magical animals his grandfather raised at home were very cute, but at this moment he felt that the child in front of him was as white as a unicorn and was glowing.

"So beautiful," Rolf muttered, his eyes fixed on Agarth without blinking. (N: sorry Rolf 😞)

"Mr. Scamander, please get out! The little master is still sleeping. Mr. Scamander said that the little master is growing while sleeping. You must not wake him up!"

Seeing Rolf standing there motionless, still saying something, Kaka was afraid that he would wake up the little master, so he hurriedly pushed Rolf towards the door of the room.

"I promise! I'm just taking a look! I won't talk!"

Rolf stayed by the bed, holding onto one of the bedposts, and refused to leave.

Kaka was angry and anxious, and the noise of pushing Rolf became louder and louder, but Rolf seemed to be one with the pillar, and no matter how Kaka tickled him or pushed him, he just wouldn't move.

But Rolf finally met a beautiful, cute, fair-skinned little wizard who looked like a unicorn and could glow. He refused to leave. He wanted this little wizard to see himself when he opened his eyes. (N: so pitiful :' sadly,it's not your future spouse)

"No! Kaka is going to be angry! But Kaka can't do anything to little Mr. Scamander!" Kaka's sharp voice pierced into Agarth's sleep.

Agarth seemed to vaguely hear Kaka and a childish male voice arguing. At first he thought he had misheard, but as the quarrel became louder and louder, Agarth had no choice but to turn over, rub his eyes, and lift up the "thick blanket" that protected him tightly.

"Kaka?" Agarth, who had fully awakened, looked at Kaka, who was standing with his hands on his hips with shining fingertips, and then looked at the little boy who was hugging the bedpost and was threatened by Kaka.

"Are you playing games?" Agarth yawned.

"Little master! You're awake!" Kaka looked back at Agarth, who looked very sleepy, and shouted angrily at Rolf, "You woke up the little master!"

"No, it's obviously because your voice was too loud." Rolf defended himself in a low voice.

'I clearly told myself that I would not make any sound and would just watch from the side. It was all the fault of the elf in front of me, which not only did not let me watch but also chased me away.'

Rolf slowly turned his eyes to the little person sitting on the bed. 'She looked so small! But so pretty!'

"My name is Agarth. What about you? Who are you?" Agarth tilted his head and looked at the boy in front of him who was smiling foolishly.

This child must be a fool. He can be so happy while hugging a bedpost.

"Rolf Scamander."

"Lolofu?" Agarth thought he had heard it wrong. Who would name a child Lolofu?

"No! No, it's Rolf." Rolf let go of the bedpost and shook his hand to explain.

"Oh! I know, you are the little Rolf that Grandma Tina mentioned!" Agarth patted his sleepy head, who else could this be!

'I was a guest at Newt's house, and the only child there could be no one else but Rolf, the one he mentioned. I slept too long and became stupid.'

“Yes, it’s Rolf, not little Rolf.” Rolf hated his nickname very much. “I’m so old now, why does my grandma still call me by this name in front of outsiders?”

"What's the big deal? It's a nickname!" Agarth waved his hand nonchalantly, took the baseball cap out of the ring and put it on his head.

'I have long hair now, and if nothing unexpected happens, the new hair will probably be red too. I'd better cover it up before returning to Austria.'

Otherwise, one could guess it right away just by looking at the face that is now growing bigger and bigger, the blue eyes, the red hair, and Newt’s attentiveness.

"Yes, little Rolf, this is grandma's nickname for you." Tina walked into the room with a faint smile.

"It seems that you and Rolf already know each other, even without my introduction!"

"Grandma!" Rolf scratched his curly hair sheepishly.

Agarth jumped off the bed and threw himself into Tina's arms: "Grandma Tina, Agarth is starving."

"Come on, Agarth, I'll show you some British food, Newt and Rolf's favorite."
