Chapter 1: You are forsaken
Chapter Text
Chance continued to walk in the Forrest with itrapped, his back turned away from his dear ‘friend’, he knew any moment now the other will attempt to end his life, and Chance was ready to react to such actions.
Chance heard a slight sound as the sword missed him barely and Chance swung himself around to face itrapped who looked startled that he somehow had missed despite aiming exactly for chances back of his chest area.
Chance kept a smile on his face, One eyebrow slightly lowered then the other, “and what do you think you’re trying to do itrapped?”
The other stiffened at having failed to take the other down before he was noticed.
”the silent treatment hm? Well I know exactly what you had tried to do, but too bad for you, I’m not mortal.” Chance slowly removed his sunglasses that hid his eyes from regular mortals, revealing that his entire eyes were completely golden, he had no iris or pupil, only the sclera which was a golden color.
The other stiffened further, itrapped narrowing his eyes, what the hell did he end up targeting, that…wasn’t normal at all for eyes…
Chance smiled stayed on his face, “and too bad for you, I got my hands on a little dimension that had been giving everyone problems lately….”
Itrapped brought up his sword, readying himself for a fight, unknowingly sealing his own fate.
Chance leaned forward, eyes closing for a second before they opened again, revealing that something had changed in his eyes, revealing a symbol that was black and red with a hint of white.
”Itrapped, you have been forsaken by even the gods and deity’s.” Chance spoke out loud, as itrapped disappeared with golden dust falling to the floor of the Forrest.
Chances eyes went mostly back to normal as he re hid his eyes with his sunglasses and turned away and walked off.
Leaving behind the fallen golden dust of where itrapped had once been, now he was stuck in a twisted game of survival.
Those who were forsaken, all get trapped in such a game until they learn why they were forsaken in the first place, and only then may they be able to escape back home…
Chance will have to make sure to do a checkup, after all he had to change the dimension so it at least gave them a chance to escape if they managed to figure it out…
Chance headed home, his smile still on his face…
Chapter 2: A fun little hobby of GAMBLING
Chapter Text
Chance entered his casino, heading over to re enter a game of luck and chance, always knowing he would always win due to him being the deity of luck so he was always lucky in everything, he hasn’t blessed many with better luck just yet, he’s waiting on the right ones to do so.
He’s only ever blessed those whose earned their favor from himself, he got bored of being a deity just watching day in and day out, he then ended up entering in the realm, having to fix his body to be a bit more mortal looking before doing so, can’t have it on accidentally crushing everything and everyone on accident if he entered in his deity form now can he?
So he looked more mortal but he was not mortal, his eyes were proof of that fact, and his blood if anyone was even able to injury him, which not ones been able to die to the fact his skin is still a hole lot harder to damage then the rest that lived here.
Besides, only another deity would be able to hurt him and even if any tried, non of their hits would ever land because he was the deity of l k, he can take other deity’s luck away, which would mean they would always miss whenever they tried to hit him, but like he said, non of them every tried anything with him.
Not even the deity of time has messed with him.
Chance shook those thoughts way, now was the time to have fun, not to think about stuff like this, this was his vacation!
He will not ruin it, he walked a bit deeper and started a game of cards with a group that looked like they belonged to a mafia family of some kind, winning each and every game between them with a calming smile despite the others getting irritated at the fact they were still losing.
”before you say anything, no I am not cheating, you just have bad luck In the game friends. Better luck next time, or perhaps play with another, maybe you’ll be luckily then.” Chance stated before any of them could lose their cool in the game.
One just took a deep breath, “…right..right…let’s just play a different game then, right guys?”
All but one agreed, the lone one stayed playing against Chance himself over and over again, the others watching their friend continuing on with the game.
Then the other guy pulled out a sword pissed, thinking chance was cheating at his own game.
But before he could even swing it at chance, and before chance even decided to do anything, a firm gloved hand wrapped around the wrist area, a shadow casted on the new comer who wore a fedora just like Chance himself.
Which caught chances attention more as he scanned the new comer more intently as the one with the sword hastily apologized while saying boss.
Ah subordinate’s of the new comer, how very interesting.
“You would do well to pay attention next time to who you’re playing against, wouldn’t do well to harm the owner of this casino now would it.” A stern sound voice from the new comer.
The one with the sword put it up, looking more apologetic now at that, giving a small glance to chance before it turned back to their boss who turned towards chance.
Chance kept a small calm smile, “subordinate’s of yours I take it? Next time keep a better eye on them, my security were ready to take a sniper out on him.”
Chance closed his eyes behind his sunglasses, still smiling as his head slightly titled to the right a little bit as the boss slightly stiffens at those words along with the other five.
”…I apologize for my subordinates behavior, I will correct that once we leave.” The boss responded calmly at that, despite the hidden threat under chances words.
Chance just smiled and waved a hand at that, “no harm was done, go ahead.”
The boss slight bowed his head forward at that and turned away and headed off, being followed by the other five as they left the casino.
Chance just smiled, his interests peeked at the boss of those five who kept losing so badly to him, he will have to check whoever that was out later….chance decided with a nod and got back into the games to have some more fun…
