Chapter Text
Adam was no stranger to pain. He would say that he was friends with the feeling. In an ironic sort of way.
Ever since he was first introduced to his first bride all he knew was pain. Which was truly something since they were ordained as husband and wife, they opened their eyes.
He supposed that would explain why she immediately resented him. She wanted nothing to do with him or any of her given destiny. However, the angels pushed them to be together.
That is what caused her to lash out and take all of her frustration out on him. She would scream, hit, and hurt him in any way she could.
His only saving grace was the little angel who would fly down from Heaven and fill his life with joy as they played, laughed, and even sang together. Lucifer was possibly the only reason why he could still smile back then.
However, this happiness did not last.
Lilith discovered Adam's own personal guardian angel, and she was disgusted. Why should he have an angel?! Why should he be happy while she stayed miserable?!
That was when Lilith came up with a solution to her problem. Using her charms, she seduced Adam's angel and convinced him that he was nothing more than a brute trying to control her.
Because of the seraphim's dimwitted nature, he believed her and the two of them ran away from Eden and away from Adam. While he was glad that his abuser was finally at long last gone. He still wept over his only friend leaving him in the dust.
Not long afterward, he was given his second bride Eve. While she was beautiful and sweet he was so scared that she would leave too that he didn't allow himself to grow close to her.
Maybe if he did then she wouldn't have been tempted by the snake.
After she bit into the apple and convinced him to do the same, they were kicked out of paradise for breaking the only rule given to them, and helping bring sin into the world.
After that, Adam had hurdled through one tragedy after the next. He thought that when he finally made it through the pearly gates, he thought that at long last his pain would cease.
But he was wrong.
Not even a few hundred years later and he was given a new task of guarding Heaven from sinners. He wouldn't have minded so much ridding scum from existence if it wasn't for the fact that he had to have annual meetings with the two people who ruined his life.
They made it no secret to torment him every chance they got. But what really hurt him was how they seemed to be happy with the other as well as loving.
It was what made his once warm heart turn cold as it hardened so badly that he didn't let anyone in it. Save for Lute who was glad to have at least one loyal friend.
Then came the last extermination.
He knew that he should have just left the stupid brat alone but like an idiot he attacked her. Drawing Lucifer into the battle.
His words honestly hurt him far more than his fists. But what helped kill him, besides that sinner stabbing him, was the blank stare Lucifer gave him the whole time.
As if his death meant nothing to him...which it probably didn't.
Soon, he could feel the cold embrace of death take him once more. As his eyes slipped closed, so did his consciousness. The last thing he heard was his name being screamed by the only true friend he had.
"Time to wake up, little one."
Adam groaned as he woke up at long last. He didn't understand the battle...just a dream?
"Open your eyes."
He hummed at the soothing voice. It sounded like Sera. What was she doing in his room?
“Cmon, you can do it. Just open them.”
Adam did as she requested and opened both of his eyes slowly. Only to immediately close them when he was greeted by the harsh blinding light.
“It's alright, don't be afraid.”
With a voice he hadn't heard in so long from her he felt his heartbeat lower as he slowly opened his eyes again. When the blurriness was gone he was greeted with such a sight.
In front of him was none other than the garden of Eden.
Adam gasped, not believing what his eyes were showing him. This...this can't be real…
“Welcome to life first woman.” Sera said with a bright smile. Which caused Adam’s world to stop for a second.
First woman? Surely Sera had it all wrong, he was Adam the first MAN.
But looking down Adam nearly fell over when he saw the body he was in now. A woman's body with long luscious brown wavy hair that went to her hips, the same tan skin as before, two large breasts, curves for days and some hair leading down to what Adam could only guess was his new pussy.
He was a fucking woman. It was official the universe hated him.
“Adele? This is your home, the Garden of Eden where you will be married to your husband Leo. Together you will be the mother and father of humanity.” Sera said, drawing Adam away from his thoughts. “Leo?” Damn, even his voice sounded super feminine.
“That would be me.”
Looking over, Adam had to do a double take. It was Lilith..... But as a man? He still had long blonde hair but he was very muscular and instead of violet eyes, Leo had blueish green eyes.
He was a handsome son of a bitch.
“And you both will have a guardian angel to help guide you.”
Adam stiffened but when he expected to see Lucifer he instead saw what looked to be a gender bent version of him. Lucilla flew up to the humans. “Hi! I'm Lucilla, or you can call me Luci if that's easier! I'm here to help you both in any way you need.”
Despite her seemingly warm exterior and friendliness that she radiated off her Adam, or Adele as the case may be now, took a step back.
She may also be an angel but Adele knew what she was capable of. Having seen it for herself she can attest to the power she held within.
She also wasn’t willing to have anything broken by Lucille. Especially her heart.
Lucifer was kind in the beginning to her as well. But that soon changed when he allowed himself to be swayed by someone who fed into his ideas and ego.
She didn’t want to be hurt by her nor her supposed “husband” If he was Lilith’s counterpart then she can imagine that his hatred towards her would start to form soon.
She would just have to stay away from the two of them until they had their storybook romance. Then they would leave the garden only coming back to tempt her to sin.
However, what Adele didn’t realize was that both the angel of light and the first man were looking at her as if she were a goddess.
Lucille couldn't believe how beautiful and perfect Adele was, she took no offense to her taking a step back. This was all so new to them after all.
So she gave the first man and woman some space to explore the garden on their own time and get to know one another.
She would be keeping an eye out of course.
Leo smiled brightly at his bride. “Adele?”
Adele turned to him and couldn't help but cower a little, he remembered what it was like when Lilith would hit him, she had only been a toned scrawny woman back then. This guy was built like a brick shit house and Adele was sure that one good hit would break a bone.
“P-please don't hurt me.....” Leo tilted his head, his smile leaving only to be replaced with a look of confusion. “Hurt you? But you're my beautiful wife! I only want to make you happy.” Maybe she was just shy, that only seemed to make her cuter and endear her more to the first man.
Adele sighed as she tried to get away from him. His words might seem soft but she knew better than to trust them alone.
However, Leo came to find out it was hard to shake off. Wherever she went he was close behind. She couldn’t even eat without him staring at her intensely.
She drew the line when it got dark and she wanted to sleep.
“Why not rest over by the willow tree?” He suggested pointing over at the plant in question. Adele had a different idea on where she would take her rest.
“Actually I already have a place in mind.”
“Where is it?”
“It’s over that way.” She pointed in a direction before trying to leave. Leo followed, causing the first woman to grow frustrated. “No! I go. You stay behind. You can sleep by the willow and I’ll go sleep over there.”
She tried not to feel too bad over the saddened expression he now had. “Oh, I see….well if that is what you wish then who am I to stop you? Have pleasant dreams dearest.”
Adele tried not to feel worse when the sad look crossed Leo's face, he turned away from her and slowly went over to the willow tree.
Leo couldn't figure out if he did something wrong, but if Adele wanted to sleep alone........
Maybe he can ask the angel for help.
The next day that's exactly what he did.
“Lucille?” He called out to her first thing in the morning. Lucilla floated down from heaven smiling at the first man. “Leo? You called out, is something wrong?”
“It's Adele..... I don't think she likes me very much....” How odd. They have only known each other a day and were still getting to know each other, but surely she likes her husband.
Lucille tapped her chin in thought. “Hmmm..... Well, maybe I can talk to her a little?” Yeah, maybe some girl time was what Adele needed!!
So the angel flew until she found the first woman sitting alone by a pond. “Adele? Are you okay? Adele stiffened, something that the angel didn't miss. “I'm fine.” She said dismissively which made the angel grow concerned.
Slowly, she went over to the human and sat down. “Are you sure? It's okay if you're not. Leo says you're not talking to him very well. Did he do something wrong?”
Well, not him specifically but what his past self did. Heck she didn’t even know if that was accurate since Leo wasn’t Lilith.
Adele pushed a strand of her thick locks behind her hair before turning back to the water. “I just…like to be alone. I actually prefer it.”
That made the angel pause as she tilted her head in confusion. Humans weren’t made to be alone. They were made to be sociable creatures.
Case in point with giving Adele and Leo to the other as mates.
“But why?” She urged the first woman to know who was growing uncomfortable. “I can’t explain it, I just want to be alone.” “I’m sure that once you give him a chance you’ll see that he isn’t really all that bad….plus he is meant to be the father of your children.”
With that one sentence she had managed to push Adele over the edge. She growled standing up to glare down at her. “Don’t you get it!? I don’t want to get to know him! I don’t want anything to do with him!”
Lucille actually jumped from Adele's outburst, causing her to go from crouching to falling over on her butt. Adele would have laughed if she wasn't so upset.
The angel recovered quickly and got up, brushing off some dirt from her robes. “Okay....... But I don't understand it's only been a day. Maybe.... If you just give it some time?”
Adele will admit, this time around Lucifer was really giving it a good go at trying to get her and Leo to be together.
But Adele didn't want Leo.
“No, I won't give it time, I just don't want him!”
She could tell that the angel was clearly not equipped to deal with something like this, especially so soon into the creation of mankind. Adele needed to change the subject, no matter what life they were in Lucifer or Lucilla was very stubborn.
“Why don't you put your hair down?
Lucille stopped her train of thought and regarded the woman. “Huh?” Her sunshine blonde hair was up in a neat little bun that was just under the brim of her top hat.
Adele repeated the question.
Lucille’s hand went up to her hair but made no move to let down to its full long length. She looked away maybe a little shyly. “It's just how I have it.”
Or forced to have it more like it.
“But what if you didn’t?” Lucille stopped to consider her answer. “That….wouldn’t be proper.” Adele sighed as she fully turned to her. “Just this once do you think you can let it down? No one besides myself is here, I wouldn’t judge you.”
Lucille didn’t know why but she felt comforted by the first woman’s soft words. They reminded her almost of her creator.
Well, almost.
One major difference being that Adele was a girl. Even though her creator was no mere man he was still he.
Be that as it may though her words sent a chord within the angel of light and music. Though she was seen as Heaven’s pride and joy it did come with its own limits.
Heaven had a specific place for herself along with a specific image. But here Adele was saying that she should undo her neatly tied locks. She didn’t fully know why but after some thinking she gave into the first woman as she took off her hat to unclip her bun.
Like a waterfall descending from high ground her golden locks fell across her back. Adele couldn’t help but stare in amazement. Her hair was even better than Lucifer’s.
Not giving it a second thought she brought her fingers up to brush through them. Immediately enjoying how they felt like silk. Lucille’s hair curled up at the bottom and the angel fluffed it a bit, she flushed a beautiful shade of gold on her cheeks as Adele touched her silky smooth hair.
It went down to the middle of her back and shined brightly in the sun. Her halo enhanced it. “Your hair is so beautiful. Lucille blushed. “O-ooh, Thank you. Your hair is beautiful as well.”
The angel thought everything about the first woman was beautiful, from her soft brown locks to her bright honey brown nearly golden eyes. Unlike the last time, where Angel Lucifer's eyes were sky blue, Lucilla's eyes were blue with gold swirled in and rimmed around the edges.
Beautiful.
She shook herself from those thoughts.
No, never again.
“Your hair is very luxurious and lovely Lucille. It suits you like this very well.” Lucille could feel the thumping from beneath her chest. She couldn’t help but place her hands there.
What on Earth was this feeling?
“Do you like your hair up all the time?” Adele asked, to which the angel shamefully gave her answer. “….No.” For she truly didn’t like how constricting it was. “Then you should keep it down, or in a way that makes you happy. Nobody should make you do whatever it is that you’re not comfortable with.”
“Just as you’re not comfortable around Leo.” She said finally understanding where the first woman was coming from. Adele nodded. “Yes, I, I just can’t be with him.” Lucille sighed. “Alright, if that is what you wish then I won’t bother you on it anymore ... .but please don’t be cruel to him.”
Adele bit her lip, it wasn’t as if she was trying to be cruel. She simply didn’t wish to be in the same space as him. But for the sake of politeness she can try and smile at him the next time she sees him.
Meanwhile the first man in question was on a quest. A quest to retrieve only the most beautiful and loveliest flowers for his wife.
Leo found some sunflowers, he didn't know how many to give to Adele so he just picked as many as he could hold. They were beautiful and reminded him of her.
He hoped that this would at least be a way to get her to like him.
The sun was setting over Eden and Lucille grabbed her clip to put her hair back up into a bun. Adele watched a little sadly, her hair should be free to flow. “Will you keep your hair down while you're here?”
Lucille thought about it and the idea thrilled her in a way that she couldn’t quite explain. “..... Maybe. But only while I'm in the garden.”
And if she was alone.
“I'll be back tomorrow morning okay?” She said with a smile. Adele nodded. “Okay.” The angel left and Leo was in the distance holding flowers.
Sunflowers.
He came over to him with a soft expression as he presented her his gift. “Hi..... I know you don't like me very much, but I saw these and thought of you and thought you'd like to have them.”
Adele couldn’t help as her face flushed pink. The color painted her cheeks like a canvas. Never before in her past life had she ever received flowers.
She didn’t count the ones that were given to her during a performance. Back in Heaven she was quite the rockstar.
Every single time she went on stage she would be covered head to toe in roses by the end from her adoring fans.
She could even recall a certain blonde who manned the front gates. He never missed a concert. She could remember how he screamed her name as he frothed at the mouth.
But other than that she never had gotten a flower from anybody. So, she was both flustered and a little more than surprised when she received them from none other than Leo.
“These ... .are they really for me?” Leo chuckled. “Well I don’t see anyone else here who is my wife. Or with the name Adele.” He pushed them slightly forward and she could feel her heart racing from beneath her rib cage. She finally accepted them and took a whiff.
Immediately her nostrils were blessed by the sweetest of scents. It brought a smile to her lips which caused Leo’s to brighten. “…. Thank you, Leo, this is very kind of you.”
Leo smiled. “You're welcome. I'm glad you like them.” They sat down and talked to each other for a little bit, and it turns out he wasn't so bad—definitely an improvement from Lilith.
Adam still doesn't know what the fuck went wrong with her. She was hateful from the moment that she opened her eyes and let was so nice.
Maybe they could be friends first..... Maybe.
That night they still slept separately from each other again.
Chapter 2: The first man and wife
Summary:
Adele becomes accustomed to her new second life
Chapter Text
When morning came Lucille came back down true to her word and smiled when she saw the first humans sitting by the waterfall eating fruit.
Still a good distance from each other but it was an improvement!
They were silent with one another, not making a sound other than chewing. With the added sound of the water descending down into the lake.
Their silence wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but if they were to get closer than they would need to get to know one another. The best way to start that would be to start a conversation. She knew it would be best if she got the supposed father of humanity to go first.
But how was she supposed to get him to do that? Then an idea entered her head, she could just tell him what to say!
Turning herself into a bee she buzzed right down and whispered into his ear. “Don't be afraid, my friend , it's me.” Leo's eyes widened a little before he whispered back. “Lucille? What are you doing here?”
“Helping you of course! Talk to her.” Leo seemed unsure. “But what should I say?” “Hmm...ask her about what her favorite part of the garden is.”
Leo nodded and cleared his throat to gain Adele's attention. “Adele?” She turned to look at him. “Yes?” “What's your favorite part of the garden?”
Adele was surprised by the question but appreciated it. She thought for a moment. “Hmmm....... I guess the waterfall here is nice. And the flowers.” Leo smiled and Lucille whispered in his ear to ask her what her favorite flower was if she had one yet.
“Do you have a favorite flower yet?” Adele nodded happily. “Sunflowers.” They reminded her of happier times. “...Sooo I made the right call with those sunflowers yesterday?”
Lucille winced, “Too soon! Too soon!”
“Uh, yeah sure.” He watched in dismay as she turned her attention back to the fruit in her hands. Her expression had now dimmed a little.
That was not good.
Lucille bit her lip as she tried to think of a way to get the first woman interested in talking to him again. She and Leo had to think of a way to make her happy again.
Leo stared disheartened that he had inevitably caused his wife to be saddened. He didn't mean it was an accident!
He heard Lucille whisper into his ear again. “Okay not your best but I have a way to smooth things over.”
“How?”
“Give her a compliment, tell her, 'You have beautiful eyes my darling.' trust me she'll appreciate it.”
Leo nodded and looked back at his wife. He cleared his throat and watched happily as she lifted her head to meet his gaze once more. “What?” Leo gave her what he hoped to be a charming smile and told her. “I have beautiful eyes my darling.”
Lucilla smacked herself in the face, it was clear that her brothers and sisters didn't put a lot of intelligence into the first humans.
Adele just gave him a weird look. “I-I-I mean you! You have beautiful eyes!” He wanted to jump into that lake and never come up for air. What was this feeling? It didn't feel good and he hated it.
“...... Thank you.”
She knows he's trying his best, but Adele just doesn't want anything to do with him. Maybe one day they could be friends........ And that's a big maybe. He's just trying way too hard.
But she isn't exactly making it easy for him is she?
Lucille sighed, there was only so much she could do for Leo and if Adele didn't reciprocate? It was going to be a problem.
It was a shame really, she didn't know what else to do but be his silent wingman. “Leo, when you are both done with breakfast try and find an activity you both can enjoy.” “Like what?” The first man couldn’t help but ask her. “Ask her what she'd like to do.”
“When?” Lucille was trying her best not to groan at him but damn was it hard. “After breakfast!” Leo nodded, “Got it!”
“Got what?”
Leo flushed when he realized that he had said that louder than he had intended. “Oh uh....nothing!”
Adele gave him a look but nodded as she finished her breakfast. Once Leo was done with his he approached his wife carefully. “Say Adele, would you do me the pleasure of...an activity with me?”
“Like what?” Leo smiled, “Whatever you'd like to do! I'm uhh.... Open to anything.” Adele sighed, she guessed that there would be no getting rid of him so she might as well make the best of it. “We can..... Walk around the garden and explore it more I guess.”
Leo beamed, “That sounds great!”
So that's what they did, luckily the garden was huge so there was a lot to see.
Adele forgot how big it actually was.
Lucille just watched and every now and then reminded Leo to speak to her to keep Adele engaged in conversation.
But by her Father above it was a chore, the man has the brain of a peanut. She could only hope that Adele would be in charge of naming the creatures in the garden. That train of thought gave her an idea.
“Psst, Leo.”
“What’s up?”
“Besides the sky I have the perfect idea for you two to properly bond.” Leo seemed intrigued. “How?” “One of your duties is to name everything in the garden. Try and see if she’s willing.”
Leo nodded and walked up a bit to Adele who was watching a group of birds in the trees. “Hey Adele? The woman turned to him. “Yes?” “I know that one of our duties is to name everything that resides within Eden. Would you perhaps like to name a few?”
“Hmm, sure why not?” She had already named most of these things in the past. It’ll be a breeze to do it again.
Or she thought it would be. Apparently the major difference between Leo and Lilith is the inside of them. Both had a pretty candy coating.
Where Lilith was mean spirited, hateful, and smart. Leo was nice, sweet, and for a lack of a better word stupid.
Leo would make suggestions for what something would be named and Adele would correct it to what it was actually called.
It was stuff like this that Adele remembered why she missed Lucifer, or rather Lucille in the garden. The only one to give her stimulating conversation.
When a familiar bug came flying onto her finger she named it immediately. “Ladybug.” Leo smiled as the little red bug crawled on the flower. “Perfect!”
Lucille sighed in relief, at least this was getting them to talk and do their job at the same time. She was brought out of her musings when Leo suddenly yelled out,
“Hey, look over there!”
Adele turned her gaze over to where Leo was pointing at. Down a hill near a den was a pride of lions.
It took everything within her not to rush immediately over and hug them. If there was one thing that would never change in any lifetime it was her absolute love for the powerful feline.
They simply were so majestic and mighty. She loved the way they were. From the top of their luxurious manes to the swishing of their tails.
She especially loved how loud their roars could be. If she could she would decree in this lifetime lions to be the king of the jungle. Grabbing her husband’s hand she all but dragged him down to where the lions lay.
She approached the head male lion and couldn’t stop herself from throwing herself onto him. The lion let out a mewl but did nothing. Instead choosing to hold her in his strong but soft paws.
Leo sat down and watched in awe as Adele put a loving touch on the lions. She was hugging them and petting them, talking in a higher than normal voice. “Oh, I just love lions! Leo smiled and mentally patted himself on the back for pointing them out.
“They seem to really love you too! They're so cute and fluffy!” A female came over to Leo and headbutted him, he laughed and gave the animal some pets and she flopped down to let him give her all the rubs.
“Oh look! They even have mini lions too! Those are adorable.” The lion cubs came over and played with each other, one took to licking Adele's toes. Her giggling was the sweetest of sounds to the first man's ears. He enjoyed the sight of her smile immensely.
To him nothing was more beautiful than seeing his wife happy.
They had spent the remainder of the afternoon playing and napping with the lions. When they came from their little session, they had noticed that the time had slipped from them like an eel.
For they saw in the distance the sun starting to set. Adele stretched, “Well, that was nice but now I'm hungry again.” Leo thought back to this one tree he came across the other day and remembered how the fruit shined like jewels.
“I saw a tree not that far from here that bore the most delicious looking fruit.” Adele smiled at him. “Lead on then.”
With one last hug to her lion companion, she left with Leo. As they walked Adele was getting a strange sense of Deja vu. She felt as though she had walked this path before. However, what she had not realized was that she had.
“Here it is!”
Adele's smile immediately dropped the moment she laid eyes on the tree. For this was no mere ordinary fruit that hung from its branches was none other than the forbidden fruit.
Leo reached up and out of nowhere Lucille slapped his hand away. Not hard but enough to deter him. “No! Leo you can't eat that apple!” Leo looked at her confused. “Why not?”
Lucille looked at Adele and her horrified expression. “Because it's the forbidden fruit Leo. It's the only fruit in the garden you can never eat or something bad will happen!”
Leo tilted his head, “Like what?”
“....... Trust me you just don't want it.”
Adele relaxed when the angel led the angel Leo and her away from the tree of knowledge over to a pear and mango tree. “Here! Perfectly fine fruits to eat!”
As the two females enjoyed some fruit that they shared together. Leo couldn’t help but think back to the tree.
If it was so terrible then why wouldn’t Lucille tell him or Adele what was so wrong with it?
It just didn’t make sense to him. But he would trust his angelic companion. He was certain that she knew more than he did. That made him pause again. If she did know more than he did then why not simply say what will happen?
It wasn’t as if he didn’t trust her or her judgement; it simply felt like something was nagging at the back of his head. Telling him that he should know more about this fruit. Why is it so dangerous for him to consume?
Steering his nerves he turned and asked Lucille, “Lucille can you tell us more about the forbidden fruit?”
Adele could see the nervousness creep back onto the angel's face, she knew that Lucille was very different from Lucifer. Where he would talk about it freely, she seemed closed off about it.
Something didn't feel right, Adele knew from being in heaven from her last life that the angels weren't perfect but something was off.
Lucilla turned to Leo. “Leo I..... There's not a lot to tell.” Leo frowned, “But.... What will happen, you must know.”
The angel looked down and played with the stem of her pear, she did know.
At that moment Adele was picturing her in the colors that she would likely wear as the devil. Soft blues and whites turned to harsh bright reds and white as her skin with the crown on her head.
It could happen in this life too.
“I do. It's.... Complicated.” Adele decided to play dumb. “But what will happen?”
Lucilla looked up at her and sighed. “Okay look..... It's the only rule you guys have here in the garden is to never eat that fruit. Otherwise God and the other angels will make you leave the garden. Forever.”
Her heart sank as she remembered her past life of hardship outside the garden. So much pain and misery that she suffered.
Especially when it came to her family. She could still remember the day she found her two eldest sons drenched in blood.
Only it was just Abel’s that covered him and his brother.
Adele refused to let that happen again.
If it was inevitable that she was to have a family. Especially one to start humanity then she would make do that they lived within the garden's walls. Here they would be provided, protected, and live peacefully. She was not going to allow harm to come to any children she might have. Not like last time.
Adele smiled at Lucille. “You're right, it’s not our place to know, but thank you for telling us.” She then went back to her dinner. Not taking notice of her husband’s expression.
Leo was upset, he didn't know the exact feeling but he wasn't happy or satisfied with the answer. A mere fruit would get them kicked out of their home!? That's so silly! And not fair!
Adele might be okay with not questioning things but he wasn't.
Lucille smiled. “You're welcome Adele.” Leo bit his lip. “I just..... I just want to make sense of it. It's just an apple Lucille, if we were never meant to eat or touch it why would it be here?”
Adele sighed, “Leo, please let it go.” Leo shifted. “I.... I don't understand, I just want to understand and you know the truth!”
Lucille took a step back, she wasn't afraid of Leo and could easily overpower him if she needed to. But she didn't like his tone. “Leo, calm down, I'm trying to protect you.”
Leo didn’t appreciate the patronising tone he found in her voice. “It just….I just want to know more.” Lucielle frowned at him. “It is called the forbidden fruit for a reason, Leo. Trust me on that.”
Leo merely sighed at her as he suddenly departed. Not saying another word to the angel.
He did however give his wife an apologetic glance as he was walking away. “I think I’ll go to sleep a little early. I seem to have lost my appetite.”
Adele watched a little saddened as her husband walked off into the distance. She felt bad for him, she truly did.
But if he really is different from Lilith then he will eventually let it go. Once he realizes that all he could ever want rests within the garden.
Just not the tree.
Lucille flew over to her female companion with a soft expression. “I’m sorry Adele, I, I wish this wasn’t taboo for either of you but the elders have told me over and over that the fruit holds nothing good in it. Despite its name.”
Adele nodded, “Don’t worry I believe you and I’m sure Leo will come around as well.” Lucilla smiled. “I'm sure he will, he just needs some time. I only want to keep you both safe and the garden is the safest place for you both.”
Adele smiled at her. “I know. Thank you.” The girls stayed and chatted for what felt like hours. It reminded Adele of all the good times she had and it was now that she realized how much she missed it.
Lucille was different. And in a good way, her smile and laugh made Adele's heart flutter.
They stayed out until the fireflies came out. The angel smiled and pointed. “Oh Adele, look how pretty they are.” Adele watched as Lucille lifted a finger and allowed one to fall on her finger. Soon many others followed and lit around her.
Lucille giggled. “Aren’t they the most beautiful things you have ever seen?” She nodded at Lucille, “Yes…” But the first woman wasn’t looking at the fireflies as she spoke. She was staring at what they surrounded.
If Adele couldn’t already tell that Lucille was an angel she could now. The fire flies made her appear absolutely Heavenly.
Adele couldn’t help herself as the beating inside her chest grew.
Lucille looked at Adele and smiled, her own heart fluttering in her chest at the soft look the first woman was giving her.
It made her feel good, no one has ever looked at her like that before. Like she was the most amazing thing in the world. Her face started to feel hot and she was sure that her cheeks were golden.
Feeling a little brave, the angel scooted closer and got Adele to hold her own hand out. The little firefly walked from Lucille's hand to Adele's. Their fingers brushed at that time.
Lucille adored the way Adele's eyes lit up with the fireflies around her. “You look so beautiful.......... “
“....... So are you.”
Now the angel's face was on fire and Adele could see her glowing and her halo was brighter. “O-ooh, thank you.” The two females were getting rather close to each other. Specifically their faces.
Lucille couldn’t stop herself as she leaned towards the human with half lidded eyes. Adele too leaned in but at the very last second pulled away. Lucille stared at her in confusion when she received nothing but open air. Her lips were pursed and ready to be used. “Uh it’s late! We should go to bed!”
She mentally hit herself when she said bed. Lucille may have one but she sure as hell didn’t. Lucille looked almost broken-hearted as she quickly nodded. She got up and unfurled her wings. “Goodnight Adele.”
She then took off before Adele saw the tears starting to pour from her golden blue orbs.
Adele was left standing there like an idiot. She watched as soon the angel became nothing more than one of the many stars in the sky.
She sighed heavily as she made her way towards her nest. Holding herself tightly as she did so. “Ugh, what is wrong with me? You’d think I’d learn my lesson the first time.” If there was a contest for rotten choices she’d win top prize. She couldn’t believe that this happened again!
During her walk she saw multitudes of animals cuddling and settling in. She saw a few families, but what really caught her attention were the couples. They looked so adorable and happy it brought a smile to her face. At least they got to be together.
When she finally made it to her destination, a cave on a hill that overlooked all of Eden. Before entering she saw a small group of daisies. She couldn’t help herself as she plucked one. Bringing it up to her nose and inhaling its sweet scent.
In a way they reminded her of Lucille. Small, but beautiful in its own way. Its soft smooth petals felt just like her skin. The yellow center looked kind of like her eyes. The ones that she could get lost in.
Adele allowed a blush to grow on her face but was still smiling sweetly at the flower as she petted it gently. “At least out loud I won’t say I’m falling in love.”
Chapter 3: Falling for you
Summary:
Adele has not one but two suitors running after her
Chapter Text
Lucille didn't let the failed kiss deter her too much, maybe Adele just wasn't ready or knew what a kiss was!
It hurt at first, but maybe she just needed time.
Not to mention there was Leo. Adele's husband who, even though she wasn't enamored with him that was still her husband.
The angel laid down on her bed and tried to dry her eyes. “I've gone crazy....... Why do I feel this way?”
But she knew, deep down that she was falling in love with the first woman and that she wanted her. Their love, if Adele even felt the same was as forbidden as the apple.
Somehow that made the sweet angel want her more. But maybe baby steps were needed first. The sun was shining down upon the peaceful garden. In one of the many rivers Eden had Adele was soaking herself.
It was still morning but Adele had decided to take a bath. She had been eating breakfast when one of the fruits packed a little extra juice than she had expected. As one could imagine she got covered quite well with the fruits juices.
She was sticky and needed to clean herself off asap. Lease she attract any of the bugs with the sweet smell it carried. She didn’t want to be covered in bugs along with sticky juice.
She was perfectly content washing herself and playing in the water. Unaware of her two suitors coming her way.
Leo wanted to make amends for last night, he didn't mean to get upset and it wasn't Adele's fault. And after all, the angel did help him get them talking so he couldn't be too upset.
But that stupid apple still made him unhappy.
Lucille on the other hand wanted to see Adele again after last night. Maybe she could just play it off but let her know she's interested?
Was this wrong? She shouldn't be wanting the first woman like this but she does and she loves the feeling.
Loves her.
So from two different sides of the garden Leo and Lucille came out from opposite sides of the pond where Adele was taking a bath.
“ADELE!”
Adele stopped what she was doing and stood up immediately from where she was sitting in the water. She saw on one side of the bank was none other than her angelic guide. And on the other was her husband.
Both in their hands were bright flowers that were positively lovely. But what really grabbed her attention was that as she stared closely at both. Their arms were stretched out.
Almost as if the two of them wanted her to take their gifts. Lucille smiled as she stepped forward staring down at the object of her attraction. “Adele I-
“My darling I just wanted to-
It was then that the two beings turned their eyes upwards. Where they caught each other’s gazes. Both Lucille and Leo’s brows furrowed in confusion.
“What are you doing here?”
Uh oh, this might not go well.
“I live here. And wanted to spend some time with my lovely wife. What are you doing here?” Lucille frowned. “I just came to see...... My friend.” Leo raised a brow at the flowers that were in the angels hand.
“And those are for what?” Lucille straightened her back a little. “For her..... She likes flowers.” Leo narrowed his eyes at the angel. “I know that. That's why I got her flowers.”
Lucille raised a brow. “Oh, so you can give her flowers and I can’t?” The taller blonde huffed. “I didn’t say that.” She crossed her arms scornfully at him. “Then what are you saying?”
“I’m saying that you don’t have to worry about getting her flowers because I already have them. Plus as her husband it’s basically my responsibility to get her flowers.”
“See right there is contradicting to what you just told me! You said that your not telling me to get her flowers and yet here you are with flowers telling me not to because your her husband.”
Leo rolled his eyes. “Yes but again I am her husband it makes sense for me to bring her flowers. Plus I have a reason to bring her these.”
“What is that exactly?” Leo turned to stare her down. “I am trying to apologize for last night. Not that you were much better.” She openly scoffed at him. “And what pray tell is that supposed to mean?”
“It means that you are an angel who assumes too much and doesn’t know when to quit.” Lucille couldn’t stop the growl from coming up her throat. “How the actual heck does that relate to anything from last night!?”
While the angel and first man were starting to really get into it. Adele took the opportunity of their distraction with one another to get out of there. Adele left, there wasn't anything she could say or do that could probably break up that fight.
She won't lie, it feels nice to be wanted on both ends.
Geez, she can still hear them.
“Well-!! ...... Adele?” Lucilla looked and the first woman was gone. She felt ashamed that she let herself get so worked up that she probably made Adele uncomfortable enough to want to leave.
No, that was Leo's fault! Little dummy yelling first.
She quickly unfurled her wings and took flight. Intending to find the first woman.
But unfortunately, it seemed the first man had similar ideas. From where she flew in the air, she saw Leo running around and calling out his wife's name. “Adele? Darling I'm sorry for what you had to see back there! I truly am! I simply wish to talk!”
“Adele! Adele! Where are you? I need to talk to you about what happened last night!” She smirked down at Leo when he turned his head up to the angel in the sky in confusion. “I know that the reason you pushed me away was because you were afraid of your husband knowing but fear not for, I won't let him, or anyone stand in the way of us.”
Leo’s face went red with pure rage. “....WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY WIFE!?!?” Lucille couldn’t keep the grin off her face as told him. “I did nothing! You're much too angry.”
Being able to fly, the angel knew she had a better vantage point to see the whole garden. Soon in the distance she saw a flash of brown amongst the green foliage.
Ignoring the first man's shouting, she flew to where she believed Adele was. “Adele? Are you here?”
Adele looked up from the flower she plucked herself. “Luci?” She cursed herself a little, she tried not to use that nickname but old habits die hard.
The beautiful angel flew down and over to her. “I wanted to apologize. I'm sorry if my yelling upset you, that wasn't my intention.”
“I know, thank you for the apology. I forgive you. Leo sounds upset.” Lucille tried her best not to smirk. “He does, doesn't he? No offense but the guy is full of hot air then anything else.”
“HEY!!!”
Both females turned, and there was the first man himself standing not too far away. Out of breath from running all the way from the stream. His face was quite red too, not just from the exercise he received from the angel but from her earlier words.
She may claim to not have done anything, but there were implications with her words. He would not let that filthy angel touch his wife. “Get away from her!”
Lucille growled as he marched right up to them. He got in front of Adele, shielding her away from him. “Why don't you go away you brute?! You're not wanted here.”
Adele couldn't help but flinch at her words. While they weren't directed towards her, she remembered them from her past life.
From Lucifer.
He told him those exact words when he discovered him and Lilith together. By then he had been completely under her spell and thought Adam to be nothing more than the monster.
She stood and walked away from the angel. Drawing confusion from her. “What is wrong with you?! Why are you acting like this!?” Lucille’s eyes went wide. “I-I-I didn't-
Leo looked smug now. “Why don't YOU go away huh? We don't need you here.” Adele glared at him. “You're in trouble too!! I might be your wife, but you don't own me!”
“I never said I did! Don't you see what she's done!? She's put you against me! But no, you can't love me because this thing won't leave you alone!!” Lucille winced, she had never been called a thing before. Did she read things wrong? Maybe Adele didn't want her......
“Leo!” Adele screamed at him, to which he simply double downed. “It's the truth!! Why don't you just go back to heaven where you belong! There's no room for you in Eden!”
Lucilla looked down, she didn't want to see the look on Adele's face. She probably wanted her to leave too......
Her heart clenched at the thought and her chest felt tight.
Adele held her head in frustration. These two were causing her a headache and opening up wounds she didn't think was possible from them. “UGH!!! YOU ARE BOTH ACTING LIKE CHILDREN!!!”
She didn't give them another chance to argue as she turned on her heel and stalked off. Lucille immediately felt bad, as did Leo. “Adele Wait-
She spun around and glared daggers at the angel of music and light. It was then that God's favorite daughter had never felt so small.
“NO! I. AM. DONE! Until you two decide to grow up and consider how your actions and behavior, not to mention WORDS, affect others don't bother trying to find. Don't even speak to me!”
With that she left muttering angrily as she did so. The first man and archangel watched as she soon became a smidge little dot in the distance. Then she was no more in their vision and they turned to one another.
“LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID! WHAT I DID?!”
“You pushed Adele past her breaking point! What did you even do to her last night anyway?!” Leo growled as Lucille smirked in a way that made his something unpleasant coil in his belly.
“What you were too scared to do in the first place!” Red had begun to enter the first man’s vision. “What is THAT supposed to mean!?”
“I showed her a good time! We sat by the waterfall with the fireflies and talked.” The memory was still fresh in her mind. It was such a lovely time and she wanted to have more of those with Adele.
But she won't if she doesn't apologize for her behavior..... Maybe the first woman also needs some space too.
“What!? That should have been me! She's my flipping wife Lucille, you have no business wooing her like that!” She rolled her eyes once more at him. “You went to sleep and I stayed up with her. That's not a bad thing!”
“It is when you're trying to take her away from me! She wasn't made for you, she was made for me. Get that through your head, she doesn't even want you!!
Lucilla scoffed. “That's what you think.”
Okay, maybe Adele had a point about being childish. But she didn't want to share her with Leo! She just wanted to love and cherish the first woman herself, was that such a bad thing?
Leo growled. “You can't have her, she's mine!!” He stomped away angry in the opposite direction leaving the angel alone.
Lucille sighed, how was she going to fix this?
Leo was walking around the garden. Trying his best to be calm again. He had never felt this way before. But he had decided that he in no way shape or form liked it. It made him feel hot, like sitting in the sun too long, or something was about to explode within him.
Worst of all he didn’t know to even call it. He just wanted to go back to the way things were before….
Before last night.
How even did it boil down to this moment? He was finally getting his wife to open up to him and enjoy his company. Now she barely wanted to look at him. Just like before. It made him feel absolutely rotten within.
The sounds of sobbing drew the first man out of his thoughts as he steered in that direction. There in the distance Adele was resting by the entrance crying her heart out. Which made his break into thousands of pieces just by the sight of it.
Leo sighed and went over. “Adele?” She stopped her crying and glanced up slightly so that he could see her red rimmed eyes.
“What do you want!?” She asked harshly, Leo winced. “I just wanted to apologize....... I don't know what got into me, I hate that you're crying.”
He went over and sat by her, he brushed some of her hair away. “Are you and Lucille done being jerks?” He nodded bashfully, embarrassed by his own actions. “Yes...... I really am sorry. I want to make it up to you.”
“I, I just hated that your like this with each other!” She told him honestly. “….I don’t know why we’re like this myself. I, I just don’t like her getting close to you in that way.” She turned slightly to look straight at him. “Why?”
“Because you’re my wife, I only want you to love me.” Adele sighed, hugging herself as she told him, “I don’t even know if I love you Leo. I’m sorry if that sounds hurtful, I’m not trying to be. It’s just how I feel.” Leo stared down at his feet, contemplating his next words. “Do you think that you’d ever be able to fall in love with me?”
Adele took her time with a response for his question. This was something she had to put thought into because while she wasn’t in love with him she also did like him deep down. “….I don’t know…..maybe, someday. But that would take time and effort. Which would mean not acting like a fool.”
In a way, Adele having been a man and seeing things from a woman’s pov changed everything. Leo turned his gaze down to his feet. “……. I don’t know how to act.”
And he didn’t, he didn’t understand anything and the reason Adele did was because of her past life. Really, if she was made the first time with a blank slate she would probably be the same.
“I know…… But you have to try and be different, be better.
“I’ll try……. Does…. That mean you’re not in love with her?”
Oh that was a dangerous question, Adele couldn’t help the old feelings that came back from being in love in her last life.
She also didn’t want to hurt Leo or Lucille. Why were things so complicated?
“.....I, I'm sorry Leo.”
Leo wouldn't lie, when those words were uttered out of her lips he felt his heart crack ever so slightly. His breath hitched as he tried his best not to cry. “I....I understand.”
“R, really?” She sounded surprised when she said that. Which only served to make his already cracked open heart worsen. Leo tried to give her a reassuring smile. “Of course, all I want...is your happiness Adele.”
Which was the truth. He wanted her to love him, but to earn that love. More so, he wanted to be the reason she was happy. If his love didn't make her happy then what was the point? She deserved to be happy.
Leo sighed. “I, I'm glad that we had this talk, Adele. N, now if you'll excuse me I, I need some time to myself.”
He then stood up to his full height and left. Adele watched him walk away with a slower step then he usually had. She hated that he was like that now but was glad she finally got her feelings out.
She felt deeply grateful that he respected her wishes and feelings. Lilith wouldn't have given a single damn about Adele, or she guessed she should say Adam's wishes. All she wished for was her own happiness. But Leo didn't care just about him, he cared for her as well. Not realizing it, the deep woman would soon feel something stir within her already enamored heart.
The first man had stopped by the same riverbank where his wife was having a bath earlier. Beside it was none other than the flowers he wanted to present to her.
He had dropped them when he had given chase. Luckily, they weren't too damaged by the fall. Just a little ruffled.
As he sat down and allowed his feet to be in the cool, crisp water. He grabbed the bouquet and began to play with the petals. His eyes watered all over again as he imagined them to be his sweet, beautiful Adele's hair.
“Oh, Adele, my sweet Adele, I'm sorry I am not enough.....”
“I'm sorry too.”
Leo's head whipped to the right where a familiar, melodic voice spoke. His eyes narrowed in anger and distrust. He growled. “What on God's green Earth do you want?! Come to gloat and call out my shortcomings?!”
“....No, quite the opposite, really. I've come bearing a proposition. I have been going about things the wrong way. Both you and I care deeply for the same woman. Yet we have been treating her like a toy. Given no options except to choose.”
“What is your point Lucille?” The angel sighed. “I am saying that maybe we don't have to make her choose. Why not...have her both as our wife?” Leo tilted his head with curiosity. “Like...... Share her?”
Lucille nodded. "Exactly, it's not fair to make her choose.” Deep down they both wanted to be selfish and have Adele just for themselves, but that clearly wasn't working.
Leo nodded, slowly coming to terms with this offer. “I guess we can try it.” She smiled softly. “That's all I ask. We both want the same thing, that's to love that same woman. So instead of butting heads, we can work together to make her happy.”
The first man nodded, he would give it a try, he'd try anything to make Adele happy.
Later that night Lucilla didn't go back to heaven, she would sometimes just stay in the garden to marvel at its beauty.
Her hair was down and her hat beside her as she gazed up at the moon that was shining bright in the sky.
There was just a lot of stress, everything with Adele and Leo, not to mention the expectations of her up in Heaven. Sometimes she just needed to get away.
“Oh hello little guy.” She held out her finger for the firefly to land on, it reminded her of that night with Adele.
She hoped that she would talk to her again.
Adele yawned as she awoke from the warm morning sun shining on her. She ran a hand through her hair as she took in the moment's peace. Which soon went away when she remembered what had happened yesterday.
She couldn't help but groan. Fuck, how was she supposed to live her life in peace with those two mucking about? She laid back down as she contemplated her feelings for the two. She didn't hate Leo, but she didn't love him either. However, she would say that deep within her there was something there.
But that made her think back on the angelic being with twinkling eyes. She knew that she was definitely falling for her despite herself. But she also knew that she couldn't be with either. Leo, because she was scared of what would happen if she chose to accept and return his affections. Lucille because she didn't want her heart to be squished like a fruit like the last time.
Speaking of fruit, her stomach rumbled to life, making her rub it. She needed food before she could think properly. She stretched as she got up and headed outside. Only to stop when she came across a peculiar sight.
In front of her was a basket of an assortment of delicious fruits, vegetables, and some sweets here and there. She couldn't believe her eyes. How could this have gotten here in Eden of all places?!
What she didn't know was that it was Lucille who came up with the basket and sweets, while the fruits and vegetables were likely picked by Leo.
It was their way of apologizing to her, it was all they could really do aside from saying the words they were sorry.
Adele ate some and was so pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was.
When she got her fill, she set the rest aside to be eaten later and went to the lake to have a morning bath.
No sign of Leo or Lucilla in sight.
Odd.
“Wonder where they are....”
Leo was giving her some space and Lucilla was doing the same, even if at the moment she couldn't get away from her responsibilities up in heaven.
So she simply enjoyed her time alone. Sighing as the cool water smoothed over her soft skin. It was truly amazing to be given another chance to go back to the garden and revel in its glory.
She hoped to never leave the garden. Not even for Heaven itself. When she was no longer properly bathing she had decided to swim around.
She may not have been the world’s greatest nor graceful swimmer but she could definitely do a stroke or two. She lowered her head underneath the water and marveled at the beauty there was.
There was so much life in the garden. Not like outside in the cruel desert. Where she had to fight every day of her life just to survive.
She shuddered at the thought, hopefully things will go better this time around. Maybe if she's lucky Hell won't even exist.
Well, that part was Lucillas doing but still. If she could keep Hell or the Devil from existing then Adele would be saving not only all of humanity but Lucilla from a fate that she might not even be aware was coming for her.
She could change things, keep things from going to shit.
Every day was another chance.
She just had to make sure no one touched that damned apple.
Adele came up for air and gasped, that stupid apple ruined everything and really Lilith did. Lucifer was too stupid to see through her pretty face and sweet lies.
Adele had high hopes that Lucilla wasn't the same. Her and Leo weren't in love. Quite the opposite, they can't seem to stand each other which is interesting in a way. How a change of gender can change everything.
Not that too far distance away Lucille was watching her little human play in the water. She looked so beautiful as the water glistened on her tan skin. The sun making an almost halo effect behind her.
She was possibly the most gorgeous creature she had ever laid eyes on. Which was definitely saying something seeing as she could be at times quite vain. She would claim herself in those moments as the most beautiful.
Sometimes even going into the mirror and proclaiming herself as fairest. But Adele had proved to be fairer. The crazy thing was that she didn’t mind one bit.
A few days passed since Adele had seen either of them and she was getting worried. Sure, they left her things by her cave so she wouldn't have to go far but she found herself missing them.
“Luci?”
“Yes?”
Adele spun around and smiled, it was so good to see her angel again. Her angel. Huh, guess some things never change.
“Where have you been?”
“Busy, but Leo and I wanted to give you some space after how we acted the other day........ But we have come to an agreement.”
“Oh?” Lucilla nodded. “We don't want you to pick between us, it's not fair. We'd both like to make you happy together instead.” Adele blushed. “T, together.”
“Yes. If you would have us, then we would both be eternally grateful and would treat you like the goddess you are.” Adele felt her face heat up as her heart sped up. This was a love confession that she hadn’t expected.
Yet here Lucille was pouring her entire soul to her. She wouldn’t lie it made her feel a little special.
She never did have anyone care about her in this sense in her past. But now she did.
Adele gulped. “Is…..Is Leo really okay with this?” Lucille smiled at her softly. “He is, he recognized to what we were doing before as wrong and wants to make it right.”
“By having you as my wife.”
Lucille’s smile grew wider at that.
Wife.
Oh how she loved the word.
Adele played with her hair shyly. “I, I’m not gonna lie while it sounds amazing the idea of not causing a rift and having to choose between the two of you…..it also sounds too good to be true.”
“I’m not asking about you to make a decision at this moment. Neither is Leo. Take your time and when you’ve made your decision just call my name and I’ll be here. So will Leo.”
The angel gently took her hand and pressed a chaste kiss to Adele's knuckles which made the warmth inside of her grow hotter and awaken a slightly different part of her.
She ignored it for now.
“O-okay.”
Lucilla smiled and left Adele to think things over. In theory this could work, this way neither of them get left out. But it would only work if they didn't get jealous of the other.
That's the only way it would work.
And they wouldn't touch each other? Only her?
Adele guessed that's the biggest thing that throwing her off in this new life, Lucifer and Lilith were so in love in the last one but being opposite genders made them hate each other? Well, maybe hate was a strong word.
She guessed that she could give it a chance, see how it works.
In the evening when she had thought good and hard on her decision. She had called out to her friend. “Lucielle?”
A flash of light and there she was, her angel.
Lucille smiled at her human. “Hello again, have you come to a decision?” Adele nodded. “I, I want you….both of you.” Lucille felt as if her heart exploded like fireworks. She had never felt as excited nor happy then in this moment.
“Truly?” Adele nodded. “Yes, I wish to be with you and Leo. I may not know what the future holds but I will say that I want to experience it with you two.” Lucille was so happy, her smile lit up the garden around her.
“Oh Adele! You have no idea how happy that makes me. Let's go tell Leo yes?” Adele nodded, she took Lucille's hand when the angel offered it to her. They walked together hand in hand until they found the first man over laying on a patch of grass in the sun.
When they told him, he was equally as happy.
Chapter 4: The first humans and their angel
Summary:
Adele finally chooses happiness with her husband and wife.
Chapter Text
Time had gone by and the first man, the first woman, and the angel of light were all living in complete bliss. It had taken a bit for all three to be comfortable with each other. But soon they were all in sync like a sweet melody.
Adele had come to realize the beating in her heart was not only meant for Lucille but for Leo as well. He had treated her as if she were the star and the moon combined. Like a rare gem that must be cherished and not taken for granted.
Lucille was the same, once she and Leo had come together for Adele they got along just fine. They were better as friends but would kiss now and then to know what it was like. Speaking of the act of intimacy it had been so long since Adele had felt the warm embrace of another.
She had many lovers in Heaven in her past life. But she never had their love. Only temporary affection.
But now she had not one two true loves. It took a bit for her to admit but she did love Leo as much as loved Lucille.
She now wanted nothing more than to know their warmth. So one evening when she, her husband, and wife were eating dinner together she approached them on the subject.
“Darlings?” She asked in a shy voice. Which made the both of them turn away from their own conversation and smile at her with twin happy love sick expressions.
“Yes, my love?” They answered in sync.
“….We have known each other quite some time….but I, I was wondering if we could truly know each other….in the sense of each other’s arms.”
“You mean...?”
“Yes.”
Leo grinned. “We'd love to darling!....... But how are we gonna do this?”
Oh yeah, threesomes weren't invented yet. It was going to take some trial and error before they found a position and method they all liked. “Well dove, when were you thinking of doing this?”
“..... Is now too soon?” It was almost comical how fast the first man and angel shook their heads at her.
“No not at all!” Leo said with a grin. “If you’re ready for it then we most certainly are.” Lucille agreed with him. “…..Where would you have me?’
Lucille grinned. “Right here is just fine.” She snapped her fingers and the fruit went away. Now it was just the grass and them. With the addition of her being completely naked.
Both Leo and Adele blushed as they took in her body. She was quite the specimen with her creamy milk skin and golden hair. They saw that her chest was quite small as she did not have breasts. Seeing as they were a human thing. Her crotch was bare, not just no hair but nothing in between.
“Lucille, where is your vagina?” Lucille chuckled. “Angels don’t have either parts of a man or woman. We can be seen as female or male but it’s only surface level.” “Then….how can we have sex?”
“I didn’t say it could only stay that way.”
She waved a hand near her crotch and lo and behold a brilliant glistening pussy. Adele almost moaned as she smelled her juices. Lucille grinned seeing her expression and crawled over to her.
She got on her and straddled her hips. “Do you trust me Adele?”
“With all my soul.”
“Then allow me to show you true pleasure.” She positioned herself and Adele gasped of her clit meeting Lucille’s. She moaned as the angel began to thrust and realized that she was scissoring her.
Leo watched from the side and bit his lip so hard he almost drew blood. He looked down and saw his penis was fully erected. The first man almost gasped when he saw something begin to throb out.
He didn’t know why but he felt that his hand would be good use while the girls were busy. So he did what felt natural as he watched them, the whole thing was turning him on very much.
Lucilla even gave herself breasts, not big ones like Adele had but just enough for the first woman to reach out and touch. Adele moaned, her face was deliciously pink. “Ooh Luci, that feels so good.~”
Lucilla smiled, her own face a beautiful shade of gold. “I-it really is ~” Adele was right to say in her last life that the pussy was the greatest thing to ever be created, having one and getting it touched only proved her point.
Lucilla reached down between them as their clits rubbed together and started to finger Adele making her moan more. Returning the favor, Adele fingered Lucillas wet pussy that was just pouring wet. The angel was moaning and her legs wobbled a little.
“Oooh yes, p-please.~”
Adele had decided to switch thing up. She used whatever strength she had left in her legs and used them to flip Lucille over. She lowered her head downwards until Adele's breath was ghosting over Lucille's hardened clit.
Not thinking twice, she dove right in and devoured her delicious pussy. Lucielle arched her back as a high-pitched whine escaped her mouth. “OH, HOLY FATHER!!!”
Adele grinned with her mouth around her pussy. She loved the noises she was making.
From where he was Leo was moaning like a feline in heat. He enjoyed the show that was being displayed in front of him. Imagining that it would be soon him she would touch.
Adele almost gasped when she tasted Lucille's full cum. She had finally made her lover release herself. She then turned to Leo who was red in the face and panting. She grinned making sure Lucille was comfortable before making her way over to him.
“Would you like a little help there Leo?” Leo moaned and nodded his head. “Y-yes please.~”
Adele moved his hand away and took him in her mouth, licking, kissing and sucking on his cock. Lucilla bit her lip as she looked over and watched them, it was such a beautiful sight. Part of her wanted to go over and pleasure her as she sucked on Leo.
“Ooh Adele.~” She tried to crawl her way over and join in on their love making when they were all startled by a flash of light.
It made the Angel of light’s eyes widened in absolute horror as she realized what it was. Before the three of them stood the elders of Heaven. They were all in their true forms glaring daggers at the scene.
Leo and Adele scrambled away as he put her behind him protectively. Shielding her away from the angels. Lucille covered her body in shame. Hot tears of pure white fear were streaming down her face. She couldn’t believe it, they had been caught.
One of the elders stepped forward and turned his attention to Lucille. “Lucille, Angel of light and music, Father’s most cherished child of his. How DARE you defile yourself and the first humans by laying with them!!!”
Lucilla felt her chest get heavy, this wasn't good. She wasn't supposed to lay with either human, she was meant to guide them. “I, I, I-
“Silence! There is no excuse for your horrendous behavior.”
Adele frowned, it didn't matter what Lucilla did in any life, if it were the apple or loving one of them. She was always meant to be thrown out of heaven and into Hell. Only this time her only flaw was loving Adele and caring for Leo.
Adele watched as her angel cried, the sight broke her heart. She looked so small.
For defiling not only yourself but the first humans, you will be punished for your unholy ways. You will be cast from heaven into your own solitude.
Lucilla shook with fear and curled in on herself, there was nothing she could do. She grabbed her hat and just tried to hide her shame. It wasn't fair, she just wanted to love Adele.....
She gasped as the ground beneath her shook and cracked. “Down into a pit where you have created with your lustful ways you shall revel in your sin filth!”
“Oh God….” Hell still existed thanks to what has been down. She couldn’t believe it, she helped create Hell in this timeline.
But unlike the previous time it happened she wasn’t going to allow her to suffer alone.
Throwing herself forward she rushed towards her and held onto her as the hole grew wider and they soon plummeted into it.
“ADELE!!!!”
Without a second thought the first man rushed off with the two. The elders tried to hold him back but it was no use. He was going to be with his wife.
Soon all three beings were screaming in terror as that was the last thing the angels heard before the hole shut tightly.
Lucille opened her wings as wide as she could, they were falling too fast for her to stop them but she could at least shield the humans from most of the impact.
Adele could see the tears falling from her angels eyes as they floated up as they fell. The ground was getting closer and closer, and before either of them knew it they hit.
Lucille took most of the impact, while Adele and Leo would only get a few bruises. When the dust settled, Adele coughed and looked around what she knew to be the future Hell. Looking at Leo, he was shaken but okay.
“Are you okay?” He asked her to which she nodded. “I think so.....”
They looked down at the now fallen angel, Lucille's halo was gone and broken the shattered pieces were embedded and formed her horns, her hands up to her elbows were burnt black along with her feet that were also different. Golden blood splattered the red dirt and dripped from her nose. The soft blue of her wings faded to red.
She gasped in horror. “L-Luci!” Through the pain she crawled over to her lover and held her gently in her arms. “L, Luci?” Lucille opened her eyes revealing them no longer to be golden sky blue. But instead molten red and orange like a volcano.
But they were absolutely beautiful to Adele either way. Adele smiled at her. “How are you holding up?”
Lucielle blinked slowly. “…….Badly.” Adele nodded. “Understandable, you took quite a fall protecting us. Thank you.”
“Always…..” She soon fell back unconscious now luckily in the arms of her true love. Adele turned her head back towards her husband. “My love, can you help me carry her? We should find a place to properly rest.”
He smiled at her. “Of course.” Leo scooped Lucille up, her wings dragging on the ground slightly and they walked for what felt like forever. Adele was getting worried, there was nothing here.
Just the crater that made up Hell.
Over in the distance there was a cave.
“Over there!” They went to the cave where they set Lucilla down to rest, Adele held her and Leo held her. “Maybe in a little bit I'll see if I can find us some food...... She's going to need her strength.”
“Good thinking.”
It would take three whole days before Lucille was up and talking again.
Then another three weeks before her magic came back to her. In that time both Leo and Adele cared for her. Watching over her as she had for them.
They would take turns keeping watch over her while one of them would scavenge the land for any source of food or water. Both were scarce in this unholy barren land. But they managed. For Lucille and each other they had to.
Eventually the fallen angel’s powers returned to her. Though it was far from the same as before. It had changed to fit her status of being rejected from God’s grace. She could wield forces of darkness. The very first thing she used them for was to make them a home.
It was grand as it was dark. It almost reminded Adele of a castle. But one that was told belonged to the villains.
But Adele saw it as a home belonging to them. As they made their way inside she smiled as she took it all in.
“What do you two think?” Lucielle asked with slight hesitation, scared there would be something wrong with it. Leo smiled at her. “It’s perfect.”
“It truly is, I think it’ll be great for our children.” That made the two turned demons to turn towards the new demoness.
“Children?”
“That is if you want to? I know me and Leo are no longer expected to be but….. I want to.
The duo stared at her softly and smiled at her. Leo took her hands in his. “I want one with you more than anything.” “As do I.” The former angel said in a loving tone.
Adele felt her heart swell as she hugged them tightly. They may not know what the future holds but she will not let the past define her for it wasn’t her.
Adam was Adam.
Adele was Adele
Leo and Lucille were hers. Nothing would tear them apart.
