Chapter 1: One Last Ask

Chapter Text

Guest was standing in the kitchen, putting on oven mitts as he prepared to take a hot pan out from the oven. Charlotte was standing on a stool next to Guest, her hands on the countertop while she struggled to tie her matching apron.

"Can I cut slices into the pizza, dad?" Charlotte asked enthusiastically, reaching for the pizza cutter. Guest chuckled softly, nodding. He paused from grabbing the pizza to confiscate the sharp object from Charlotte "Of course, sweet pea. Go get the cutting board, I'll set it on the table."

Charlotte grinned, hopping off of the stool and practically bouncing to where they kept the cutting boards. Guest pulled the pizza tray out, feeling the warmth seep through his mitts. He glanced over, spotting his phone on the counter.

Guest raised an eyebrow, hearing a small ding, indicating that there was a notification. He ignored it, figuring he'd check it out when not so busy. He slid the pizza onto the wooden cutting board and sat next to Charlotte.

The two spent the next ten minutes cutting the pizza, giggling and talking while Guest helped guide Charlotte's hands to cut the pizza.

"Steady, try to keep your hands from shaking.." Guest gently instructed, his hands clasped over Charlotte's. Charlotte focused, her eyes squinting. She let out a small relieved sigh as she managed to make a somewhat straight cut right down the middle.

"I did it!" Charlotte cheered, letting go of the pizza cutter. Their mini victory was cut short by a quiet knock at the door, causing the both to pause. Guest stood up, moving Charlotte off of his lap.

"I'll be right back, sweet pea." Guest promised, before turning towards the door. He approached it quietly, checking the peephole to see 007n7, his neighbor, standing in the pouring rain. "Seven?"

Guest opened the door to see 007n7 more clearly. He looked completely disheveled, his eyes bloodshot. Guest immediately felt concerned for the man, stepping forward. "What happened? Are you okay?"

007n7 nodded. He tried to give Guest a small smile, but it just wasn't there. "Y-Yeah, 'm fine. It's just.. I-Im not trying to sound weird, or anything. But I had to ask you a favor, it's an emergency."

Guest hesitated. He wanted to turn 007n7 away, honestly. He didn't want to get roped into something, knowing the mans past. But seeing how pathetic he looked on his porch, Guest stepped aside. "Alright.. let's talk inside."

007n7 stepped inside, slipping his shoes off. The went to the kitchen, where Charlotte was patiently waiting. Charlotte's eyes lit up, waving. "Oh, hi! Is C00lkidd with you?" Charlotte asked, her eyes already scanning by 007n7's legs where C00lkidd would usually linger.

007n7 nodded in acknowledgement, uncharacteristically quiet. Guest looked back at Charlotte, offering a smile to replace the half-hearted greeting from 007n7.

"Honey, could you go play in your room? Me and 007n7 have to talk." Guest requested. Charlotte let out a disappointed 'awh', but retreated to her bedroom. Guest ushered for 007n7 to sit down at the table.

"Are you okay?" Guest asked when 007n7 finally got situated. "Yeah.. look, I'm really sorry for just coming over unannounced, but it's C00lkidd." 007n7 responded, cutting straight to why he came over. Guests brows furrowed a bit, confused. "Is he okay?"

007n7 nodded quickly, adjusting his posture subconsciously. "Y-Yeah! He's fine. It's just.. I have this business trip, and I need a babysitter for the week." Guests eyes widened a bit, feeling excited for 007n7. He knew 007n7 was low on cash, so this was a good change.

"Really? Yeah, of course!" Guest agreed immediately. He saw something change on 007n7's expression. Almost.. relief? 007n7 nodded, standing up. "Thank you.. I'll send him over tomorrow."

Guest followed 007n7 to the front door, the pair stopping in front of the door. Without warning, 007n7 hugged Guest tightly. Guest blinked, a bit startled but hugged back. 007n7's body shook as if we was going to break down crying, but just tightened his grip before letting go.

"Thank you, Guest.." 007n7s voice was shaky, more vulnerable, more human. Guest thought nothing of this, smiling to 007n7 before watching him walk back home.

Maybe things are going to get better.

Chapter 2: A Farewell In Disguise

Chapter Text

Guest eventually woke up the next morning, yawning as he rolled over in his bed. His arms instinctively reached out, wrapping around another object. "Mmh.. mornin', Daisy..." Guest murmured. He opened his eyes after a moment, frowning at the sight of his body pillow.

Guest let go, kicking the pillow off the bed and sitting up. He felt embarrassed, still greeting his late wife good morning. Guest pushed the growing feeling of loneliness away, remembering what he was doing today.

Guest crawled out of bed, brushing his teeth. He still felt groggy, so he threw on some sweatpants and made his way to the kitchen, where Charlotte was already awake and watching TV.

"Sweet pea?." Guest called out, yawning. "What're you doing up?" Charlotte looked up from the couch, spotting Guest. "I'm waiting for C00lkidd!" She responded with an enthusiastic grin.

Guest smiled softly, going over and ruffling her hair before beginning to make a pot of coffee. "Mhm.. well, he should be over in, uh.." Guest glanced upwards, looking at the clock hanging above his kitchen window.

The mans eyes widened a bit, looking back over at Charlotte. "12:37? I-I could've sworn I set my alarm for nine.." Charlotte let out a small 'hm', absorbed in her TV show.

Guest let out a small sigh, abandoning the coffee pot as he glanced out the window, just in time to see the familiar red boy with 007n7 following after. A smile crept up to Guests face, and he opened the door before they could knock.

"Seven! Good to see you again." Guest greeted warmly, opening the door all the way. He glanced down, spotting C00lkidd, who was looking up at Guest with a thrilled expression. "Hi, mr. Guest!"

Guest chuckles softly, making sure to be careful of the horns as he ruffled C00lkidds hair. "Morning, kiddo. Charlotte's waiting inside for you." C00lkidd turned around, hugging 007n7's legs before running inside without saying goodbye.

007n7 smiled, but couldn't seem to bring his gaze up to meet Guests. Guests smile faltered subtly, and one hand went up to his hips. "Hey, 007n7.. are you sure everything's okay?" 007n7 nodded, awkwardly rubbing his arm. "Yeah.. I just- honestly?. I-I need a break." 007n7 admitted.

Guests expression softened, nodding sympathetically. "I get you, man. Take this week for yourself, C00lkidd'll be okay." Guest assured, reaching his hand out to rest in 007n7's shoulder. 007n7 let out a small sigh, finally looking up at guest. "I will, promise."

Satisfied, Guest gave 007n7's shoulder a gentle squeeze before letting go. "Right.. well, have fun." Guest stepped back, watching 007n7 leave. He decided to call 007n7 later to check up on the man, before finally going inside.

Guest finished getting ready for the day before going back into the living room, seeing Charlotte and C00lkidd at the table, drawing on construction paper. Curious, he approached the pair, peering over them to see their art.

Guest smiled, seeing Charlotte was drawing a picture of a unicorn, while C00lkidd was drawing a picture of himself and his dad. "These look great!" Guest admired, picking up Charlotte's paper to look at it closer.

C00lkidd looked up at Guest, an idea forming. "Oh! I'll add you next to papa!" C00lkidd decided. "Can I be in it?" Charlotte asked, looking back at C00lkidd, who nodded.

Guest smiled, stepping back a bit. He watched them talk for a moment longer, before glancing out the window. He saw 007n7's car pull out, before going over to pick up his phone.

Guest turned his phone on, intending to check the temperature it would be for the next few days. His eyes caught the date, and he realized something. "Huh.. guess it's the fourth of July I'm a couple days." Guest commented loud enough for them to hear, earning a groaned from Charlotte and an excited cheer from C00lkidd.

As Guest pocketed his phone, he couldn't help but wonder why 007n7 had picked now of all days to take a break. Although Guest wasn't really complaining, after all he and Charlotte loved C00lkidds company, but the timing just felt off.

Pushing those thoughts away, Guest turned back towards the kids, putting on a small smile. "Hey, after you guys are done, we could go to the movies?" Guest offered.

C00lkidd left the house, holding Guests left hand while walking down the sidewalk. He looked up at Guest once Charlotte was done talking with him, his expression excited and curious. "Are we going to the one by the lake?"

Guest offered C00lkidd a friendly smile, nodding . "We are, buddy. I'm meeting up with an old friend there." C00lkidd nodded. He was quiet for a moment, before spotting the park. "Woah.."

His eyes widened in awe, C00lkidd hadn't been to the park for a couple years, since his dad seemed to have only been getting busier and busier. C00lkidd looked up at Guest, before at Charlotte.

Guest noticed their expressions and nodded. "Alright, go ahead." C00lkidds excited grin widened. He grabbed Charlotte's hand, grinning. "Let's go!"

"Buddy system!" Guest called out, watching the two run off towards the park. Satisfied, Guest pulled out his phone and began to dial a number on the keypad.

"Hey, Chance?" Guest spoke into the phone. "I'm by the spot, are you here y-" Guests question was answered when a black limousine pulled up. Guest let out a small chuckle, waiting for the window to roll down.

"Really?" Guest asked, "Didn't know it'd kill you to walk a couple blocks." The person inside- Chance, snickered. "Hey, Guest. C'mon in, I'll find somewhere to park." And with that, Guest went around to the other side of the limo, getting into the passenger seat.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

C00lkidd pulled Charlotte along, the pair giggling like six year olds. Charlotte let go of c00lkidds arm, wandering over to the swing set. "Cmon! There's two open."

C00lkidd, wanting to go on the slides, shook his head. "Maybe later, bye!" The boy wandered off and left Charlotte, running towards the set.

C00lkidd crawled up, spotting the slide enterence. He bounced over to it excitedly, only to be stopped by two other kids. "Uhm.." the girl with 'acorn' hair- who looked to be around eleven, eyed C00lkidd. The bacon haired boy exchanged looks with the girl, his nose scrunching up.

"..Why do you look like that?" The acorn hair girl asked, looking back at C00lkidd. C00lkidd paused, feeling a bit hurt. "Like what-" "Like that? Y'know, red?" The bacon hair boy spoke up, asking. "Are you a demon? Ew! You have horns like one!"

C00lkidd went silent, tears starting to well up in his eyes. "I-I'm not a demon.." The girl snickered. "Well you look like one. Sorry, no freaks slowed on the slide."

C00lkidd sniffled, turning away and running off of the playset. He wiped tears from his eyes, a few escaping and streaming down his cheeks. "Papa!" C00lkidd called out. "Papa, they-" C00lkidd cut himself off, remembering his dad wasn't here.

Right.. he went on a business trip. C00lkidd let out a defeated sigh, sitting down by the bottom of the slide in defeat. C00lkidd missed his dad, he felt homesick already.

Before C00lkidd could get back up, there was another voice nearby. "Uhm.. hey?"

"Aren't you supposed to be.. y'know, watching them?" Chance eventually asked Guest as they sat in the back of his limousine. Guest sighed, nodding. "Yeah.. but we'll only be in here for five minutes, kids'll be kids."

Chance chuckled a bit, nodding in agreement. "How'd you get stuck with the boy, anyways? Thought you and Da-" Chance cut himself off, subtly glancing at Guest through his sunglasses. He cleared his throat, trying to play it off.

"..Thought you just wanted one brat t' deal with." Chance corrected himself, carefully picking his words before going back to opening the mini bar he had. Guest noticed what Chance did, but didn't call the man out. "Yeah.. but I'm just watching C00lkidd for the week."

Chance weakly nodded, trying to show he was paying attention. He opened up the mini bar after some struggling, skimming through his options. "Uhuh.. Veuve Clicquot?" Chance offered, picking up a bottle of wine. Guest shook his head, declining the offer. "No thanks, I'd rather.. not get into that cycle."

Chance snickered a bit at Guests comment, pouring himself a glass. "Right.. okay, family guy." Chance turned to face Guest, newfound curiosity evident with his body language. "So, tell me about- what's his name? C00lkidd! Yeah, the red one."

Guest sighed, glancing out the dark limousine windows to try and spot the boy at the nearby park. "He's my neighbors kid, think he's turning ten soon?" Chance took a long sip of his wine, his gaze following Guest out the window, before returning to him.

"Hey.. ain't that sevens boy?" Chance asked, genuine interest evident under his usual nonchalant and laid back tone. Guest shook his head, his gaze glancing downwards at Chances wine, his lips, then eventually the shades.

"007? Yeah, it's his kid." Guest confirmed. Chance took the opportunity and shifted closer, setting his now empty glass down at the mini bar. "Y'know, I know a guy that babysits." Chance suddenly recommended, shifting the subject.

"If you ever wanna, dunno, hang out.." Chances tone dropped from his usual joking tone, taking a more flirtatious turn. "It could be like old times?" Chance shifted closer, his thigh pressed against Guest. One hand moved down, resting next to Guests other thigh and essentially 'trapping' the man.

Guests eyes widened just a touch, his face subtly reddening. "Chance, I'm not sure if-" Guest cut himself off, feeling Chances other hand cup his face. "Cmonn, Guest.. you seem stressed, it'll be quick..?" Chance offered, moving forward until his lips were inches from Guests.

Guests hand reluctantly moved up towards Chances waist, pulling the man onto his lap. His resolve crumbled quickly, shuddering from the intimate moment. "..A-Alright, but we need to be quick."

Before Chance could get any closer, there was a knock on the limousines window, startling the pair. Guests eyes darted to the window, seeing a small hand knocking again. He let out a small, disappointed sigh, before realizing it was his daughter, Charlotte.

Chance adjusted his fedora, moving off of Guests lap and back onto the seat. "Ehh.. maybe later, soldier boy." Chance suggested, before returning back to his usual joking self. Guest nodded silently, composing himself before opening the door. "Sweet pea? How'd you know-"

Charlotte looked up at Guest, blinking before noticing Chance. "I recognized his car." Charlotte explained simply. She looked back at Guest. "Oh, also I can't find C00lkidd."

Guests heart leaned into his throat, quickly hopping out of the limousine. Chance followed out, but not as quick. He noticed Guests expression and his brows furrowed. "Hm? What's with that look?"

Guests eyes scanned the playground, confirming Charlotte's words. "Awh, shit.. i- just a sec, chance. I gotta find the kid." And with that, Guest jogged over to the playground, trying to not freak himself out. The kids around here somewhere, Guest rationalized. he's probably at the slides, or wandered off, or-

Guests overthinking came to a screeching halt when we spotted the lake, seeing the familiar red kid, waist deep in the water. He let out a relieved sigh, before spotting another boy, assumedly playing with C00lkidd.

Guest approached the water, his nerves more eased since C00lkidd didn't seem to be in any danger. C00lkidd spotted Guest, grinning before waving his arms to catch Guests attention. Once guest was close enough, C00lkidd shouted. "Guest! Hi! Look- I made a friend!"

C00lkidd pointed to the blue boy sitting on the doc by the water, spotting Guest, too. The boys eyes widened a bit, before adjusting his posture. Guests stepped onto the dock, raising an eyebrow. "Oh? And who's the friend, bub?" Guest asked, fixing his gaze on the boy so he'd respond.

The boy stared in awe, as if he couldn't believe he was here. "You're the last guest.." the boy muttered, more to himself than Guest. Processing the question, the boy answered quickly after. "I- uhh, Bluudud.. yeah." The boy, Bluudud, responded.

A small smirk escaped onto Guests lips at the boys nervousness, but he nodded. "Alright.. where's your parents, Bluudud? You couldn't have come here alone, right?" Bluudud sighed, the flustered/embarrassed expression leaving his face to a more irritated scowl.

"My mom's getting us ice cream, i'm just hiding from my stepsister. She's psycho." Bluudud explained, glancing over his shoulder before looking back at C00lkidd and Guest. "She keeps making me do these stupid tea parties. God, it's so embarrassing."

Guest let out a small chuckle, crossing his arms as he started to relax. He realized he had left Charlotte with Chance, and sighed. "Damnit.. C00lkidd, bub?" C00lkidds head perked up. "Huh?" "Do me a favor. Once you're done hanging out with Bluudud, come meet me by the swing sets." C00lkidd nodded quickly, and Guests expression softened when he saw the bright smile on C00lkidds face. "Okay! Bye, Guest!"

Guest waved goodbye, before beginning to walk back towards the limousine. Once he got close enough, Guest spotted Chance sitting next to the limousine with Charlotte, a deck of cards in his hands. "Chance!" Guest shouted, but there was no real venom on his tone. "Quit teaching my daughter how to play blackjack."

Chance snickered, pocketing the cards. He glanced at Guest, before back at Charlotte. " 'S no worries, kid. We'll play later." Chance promised Charlotte, who nodded enthusiastically.

Guest smiled softly, groaning softly as he sat down next to the two. C00lkidd came running up to them after thirty minutes, babbling on about being able to get Bluududs number so they could have 'more playdates'.

"That's nice, kiddo." Guest complimented when C00lkidd finally ceased the talking. "I'll tell your dad, he'll probably be thrilled to see you making some friends." Guest smiled, ruffling the boys hair. His smile faltered, making s mental note to call and check up on 007n7 later.

Shaking his head to push the thought back, Guest stood up. "Alright, well. Let's go now. Chance is gonna take us shopping. We're gonna need fireworks for tomorrow, aren't we?"

Chapter 5: More than a bedtime

Chapter Text

The remainder of the day Guest, Charlotte, C00lkidd, and Chance spent their time at a local fireworks shop. "Did you *have* to get each of the kids Immortals?" Guest asked chance, referring to some of the fireworks in the bag he was carrying. Chance snickered, raising his hands in defense, mocking surrender.

"Cmon, soldier boy. They're gonna have the time of their lives this year." Chance insisted, before nudging Guests arm a bit. "Awh, look at them. They're gettin' alone." Chance suddenly pointed out, the two watching C00lkidd and Charlotte, who ran ahead, talking about a show they both watched.

Guest smiled softly at the scene in front of him. He remembered having to calm 007n7, and practically pushed the bags into Chances hands. "Here- uh, sorry. I needa make a phone call. Walk ahead for me, I'll catch up."

Chance, confused and a bit skeptical, reluctantly agreed before beginning to walk back to the limousine with the others. Guest pulled out his phone, turning it on. He scrolled until finding 007n7's contact, calling it while walking.

After two rings, 007n7 picked up. Guest let out a relieved sigh, which was quickly replaced with concern at 007n7's voice. "Hello..? Guest?" 007n7's voice was more high pitched, shakier than usual. Guest could've sworn he heard 007n7 let out a small gasp, and the concern only gnawed at him more.

"H-Hey, 007. Just wanted to check up on.. is everything alright?" Guest suddenly asked, slowing to a stop. There was silence on the other end, before 007n7 spoke again. "I'm fine, Guest-" sniffle, hic "..Really, I am. Just tired." Guest glanced around, as if scared somebody would listen into their conversation.

He decided to trust 007n7. After all, what else could he do? For all he knew, 007n7 was miles away at some resort. "Alright.. I just called to tell you about C00lkidd, he-" Guest was cut off almost instantly at the mention of C00lkidd. "-Is he okay? Shit, uh-.. I-I could come back if it's an emergency or-"

Guest let 007n7 ramble on a bit, not quite wanting to cut the man off again. "No, no.." Guest assured once 007n7 finally quieted down. "He's fine, I promise. He actually made a friend today." There was silence on the other line.  When 007n7 spoke again, he sounded more at ease.

"Oh.. that's good, I was meaning to check up on him, actually. Just-.. been busy." Guest nodded, mainly out of instinct since there wasn't exactly anybody to nod to. "Alright.. well, I should go. I have the kids waitin' for me." Guest pulled the phone away from his ear before 007n7 could respond.

He hated to admit it, but Guest knew 007n7 would want to keep talking. It happened every time they'd call, he would make up some elaborate excuse to keep the conversation going, and Guest couldn't exactly keep the others waiting any longer.

Guest jogged back to the limousine, where Chance was waiting with the kids. "Your place or mine?" Chance asked as he slid into the driver's seat, his tone teasing. Guest sighed, but let a small, quiet laugh.

"Cmon, Chance, I gotta get the kids to bed.." Guest complained, taking a seat in the back, as the kids couldn't be alone by the mini bar. Chance let C00lkidd sit up front with him, while Guest stayed back with Charlotte.

The ride was mostly quiet in the back, where Guest hold Charlotte in his lap after she fell asleep. Whilst in the front, Chance was striking up a conversation with C00lkidd, trying to convince the kid to get into card games with him.

They made it to Guests house, where he got out with the three. Guest held Charlotte, adjusting his holding before leaning down to thank Chance through the window. Chance rolled his window down, offering Guest a flashing smile. "Cya tomorrow, soldier boy." And with that, Chance drove off.

Guest watched the limousine leave, before stepping onto his driveway. "Charlotte's asleep, bubs. You can take the Guest room." Guest informed C00lkidd, who was helping Guest hold the bags. C00lkidd nodded, looking up at Guest. "Okay! Can I have a snack before bed?"

Guest nodded, opening the door with one hand. "Sure thing, kid. Go find something in the pantry, I'll meet you in the kitchen." Guest watched C00lkidd run off into the house, the boy knowing it like the back of his hands.

Guest took Charlotte to her room, gently laying the girl down in her loft bed. After making sure she was asleep, Guest slowly stepped out of the room, returning to the kitchen.

When he entered it, he spotted C00lkidd by the table, apple in hand. His smile softened, seeing tears streaming down the boys cheek. "Woah, woah.. hey, kiddo. What's wrong?" Guest asked worriedly, approaching the boys side.

C00lkidd sniffled, looking up at Guest. ".. Am I weird?" C00lkidd asked, and Guest felt his heart stop. "What? What brought this up, buddy?" Guest sat down next to C00lkidd, who avoided eye contact and looked back down at his apple.

"They- The kids at the park.." sob "They said I looked like a demon! L-Like a-" Guest cut C00lkidd off, pulling the boy onto his lap. His hand went up to C00lkidds face, wiping his tears. "Sh sh shh.." Guest coo'd softly.

"You aren't a demon.." Guest started, trying to assure the boy. "Those kids are just insecure little brats." Guests time was gentle, rocking the boy gently. C00lkidd froze up. He let out a loud, tired sob, burying his face in Guests chest.

Guest and C00lkidd stayed like that for the next ten minutes, until C00lkidds sobs turned to whimpers, which eventually turned to snoring. Guest sighed softly, picking C00lkidd up.

Guest quietly approached the guest room, setting C00lkidd down in it. He tucked him in, kissing the boys forehead softly. "Night, kid.." Guest murmured, before standing up straight and leaving his room.

Guest shut the door behind him, making his way back to the kitchen. He spotted the apple and ignored it, before picking his phone up. Guest let out a shaky breath, dialing a specific number.

The person picked up within the first ring, and Guest heard that familiar tone.

"Knew you'd come around eventually, soldier boy."

Guest sat in his bedroom, waiting impatiently. Only after five minutes, he heard a knock on the door. As Guest sat up to answer, Chance already opened the door. "Hey! Didn't answer the door, so I figured I'd invite myself in."

Guest, quickly composing himself after the small jumpscare, chuckled. "Well, aren't you patient." Chance slipped his shoes off, sitting on the bed with a grin. "Cmon, you called, and I answered. Besides, I was soo worried, what if it was an emergency?"

Guest offered a smile, that faltered into a stressed look. He sighed, stretching his back. "Yeah, yeah.. keep your pants on, I just needed some help." Guest assured. Chances head perked up, quiet for a moment before sitting up on the bed, behind Guest.

"What's up, soldier boy? You look stressed." Guest groaned softly. "You can say that again.. dunno what's wrong, I just feel so.. so tense? I know that there's nothing to be worried about, but-"

Chance crawled closer on the bed, dramatically putting his arms over Guests shoulders. His tone dropped, like it had back at the limousine. "Oh? Y'Know I'm here, nothing wrong with reliving a little stress.." Chances hands wandered down to Guests chest.

Guest tensed up, but didn't push Chance off. Chance, seeing this as consent to keep pushing, continued. "Nobody's gonna blame you, baby.." Chance whispered in Guests ear, his tone seductive. "You just need a little-"

"-Encouragement." Without warning, Chance pinned Guest down on the bed, moving on top and straddling the man. Guests eyes widened, but didn't resist much. "C-Chance.. the kids are asleep, what if-" Guest was cut off by Chance as he grabbed Guests jaw, his lips crashing against the mans.

"Quit worrying about them," Chance murmured against Guests lips. "Just focus on me." Guest nodded quickly when Chance let go, squirming a bit. Chances hands played with the hems of Guests tank top, before pulling it upwards and off the boy. Under it, Guest had bandages around his chest, compressing it to stay flat.

"You should really take a break from these.." Chance murmured, his hands swiftly undoing the medical tape. Guests eyes shut in mild humiliation and lust, shuddering softly. He opened them again, feeling Chance tying up his hands behind the bedpost.

He grunted softly, yanking to test the resistance of them. He looked up at chance, chuckling softly. "Really? Didn't have any rope on you?" Guest asked jokingly, figuring out where his chest bindings went. Chance, however, seemed more focused on Guests chest. "Jeez, soldier boy.."

Chance fumbled for his belt buckle, nearly ripping his suit pants off. Guest watched, feeling the familiar pang of arousal. "Fuck.. Chance, d-don't tease me." Guest begged softly, too horny to care about embarrassment.

Chance chuckled, slowly pulling down Guests pants aswell. "No 'please'? I'm hurt." Chance mocked a sad tone, taking down Guests pants, along with his boxers. Chance looked down, spotting Guests unshaved pussy.

Chance slid his hand down, pressing his index finger against Guests opening. "Shit.. you're really wet, guess you've been waitin', huh?." Chance teased, leaning down and kissing Guests jawline.

Guest whimpered softly, jerking his hips upwards. "Chance.." Guest moaned softly, bucking his hips upwards. Chance watched with amusement. "Now, now.. just be patient, yeah?" Chance coo'd. He kissed lower, his other hand choking Guests left breast.

"Fuck, you're gorgeous.." Chance praised, kissing lower until he made it to Guests nip. Chance smirked, kissing the sensitive bud. His second finger slipped in, earning a louder moan from Guest. Chances tongue swirled the bud until he suddenly pulled his fingers out.

"Right.. enough prep." Chance decided, removing his fedora and sunglasses. Guest maintained eye contact, his face ever so slightly scrunched up with pleasure. "I can't wait any longer, Chance.. I-I need you in me, please.

Guests voice cracked, spreading his legs slightly for Chance. Chance let go of Guests breast, using both hands to spread the mans legs wider and pushed them over his shoulders, exposing Guests prepped pussy for Chance.

"You ready, big boy?" Chance asked jokingly, before shoving his 9' inches dick into Guests wet entrance. "Fuck!" Guest moaned, squirming to adjust himself from the sudden intrusion before nodding.

Chance began to thrust in and out of Guest, gradually increasing the pace. "Damn, Guest.. you're so- ahh..~ amazing." Chance praised, his hands firmly on Guests hips.

Guest bucked his hips upwards, trying to control his tone. Chance sped up, adjusting himself before going quicker, hitting Guests g-spot. "Fuck- Chance! Ah- nghh!~" Guest cried out, whimpering more loudly.

Chance leaned forward, silencing Guests moan with a passionate kiss. He folded Guests body, thrusting his entire length in now. Chance eventually pulled away, a trail of saliva connecting their mouths.

"Guest.. shit, 'm gonna cum.." Chance panted, picking up the pace. His movements were jerky and deep, ramming into Guests sweet spot over and over. Guest yanked his arms again, whining.

With a final thrust, Chance buried himself deep inside of Guest, cumming. "Ah! Fuck!" Guest cried out, squirting at the same time. His body spasmed a bit, before finally relaxing. Chance thrusted a few more times, slowly before eventually pulling out.

Guests breathing was heavy, his eyes half kissed as chance laid down on his chest, absentmindedly squeezing Guests chest. "Hff.. good God you're tight.." Chance commented, before raising his head to see Guest again. "Cmon, soldier boy.. think you can handle just a few more rounds?"

Chapter Text

The fireworks began to settle on July 4th, 2013, 11:40 PM. Guest left the park with Charlotte, C00lkidd, and Chance, the group walking on the sidewalk home. "Trust me," Chance started, his tone confident as he flipped his lucky coin, catching it in the air before peering down to see it landed on heads. "This ways quicker! Short cut through the forest, then we're home."

Charlotte seemed relieved, while C00lkidd was exhausted, having spent all day hanging out with his 'new best friend in the whole world', Bluudud. Guest was walking in silence, listening to Chance talk with Charlotte before his phone rang. Guest glanced down to see it was 007n7, and slowed to a stop. "Shit.."

Chance glanced back, stopping in his tracks as well. He adjusted his hold on C00lkidd, raising an eyebrow. "You good, soldier boy?" Chance asked, noticing his phone. Guest let out a small, irritated huff before nodding. "Yeah, yeah.. just- I'll catch up, walk ahead." Chance seemed skeptical, but agreed and turned around. Guest answered the call, hearing 007n7's voice.

"Hey, Guest?" 007n7 spoke. His tone was exhausted, and Guest couldn't help but feel a pang of irritation. The whole reason 007n7 left was to get better.. Guest figured 007n7 was just tired and responded. "Uh.. hey, 007." "You didn't really- answer my calls earlier." 007n7 mentioned, and Guests grip on the phone tightened. "Yeah, well.. I didn't really want to-"

The words slipped out before Guest could catch himself, and he failed to make an excuse for it. 007n7 went quiet, before speaking up. "..I just wanted to see how my son-" "He's fine, 007n7. God, I love you and all but do you ever just- shut up?" Guest snapped. The whole day has been nothing but loud noises, complaints, and now 007n7 acting like some clingy housewife.

But before 007n7 could respond, Guest continued, his tone raising. "I mean, seriously. It gets to a point. You've been calling me non-stop all day but refused to come down and see him yourself, I don't know why you're just so lazy you can't even take care of a kid! Do me a favor and grow a pair before you come back, holy shit.." Guest hung up, not wanting to deal with 007n7. He let out a small sigh, the guilt quickly overcoming his annoyance. Guest slipped his phone back into his pocket, he'll call 007n7 later to apologize.

Guest jogged, catching back up with the others, who seemed to have zero clue about Guests mini burst. Guest glanced up at the sky, raising an eyebrow. "Hey.. what time is it?" Guest asked Chance, who checked his watch. "Uh.. 11:47, big fanale in  minutes." Guest groaned softly, nodding. "Great.. thanks."

Suddenly, a faint bang rang out into the night. Chance instinctively glanced up at the sky, his brows furrowing. "Hm.. that's odd." Guest glanced over at Chance. "What's odd?" Charlotte was looking up now, her grin replaced with a confused expression. "Maybe it was a distant firework?" Charlotte suggested, and the two seemed to settle for that.

They walked for about half a mile, talking, joking around, and complaining about work. They made it to a dirt road that they could only assume lead to the main road, and Guest began to trust Chance now. Chance glanced at the side of the eerily quiet dirt road, stopping immediately. "Hey.." Chance spoke up. "Ain't that sevens car?" The words struck Guest harder than any bullet ever had. He stopped in his tracks, squinting his eyes.

Sure enough, that was 007n7's navy blue 2012 Chevrolet Spark, parked. Guests heart stopped, and he stepped forward. While Guest did Chance checked the time on his watch. 11:59.. "S-Soldier boy, hey.." Chance tried to call out. But Guest didn't listen. Guest cautiously approached the car. What was he doing here? Guests mind raced. '57..58..59..' Guest took a deep breath, before peering into the window.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was July 5th 2013, 12:15. Guest was sitting across from the car, cradling C00lkidd who was hysterically crying on his lap. Charlotte looked confused, and nervous. Chance was talking to a police officer, occasionally glancing towards Guests direction. Guest wasn't responding to any of the other police officers trying to get his side on what happened, all Guest could do was replay watching 007n7's fresh corpse slump out of the car door when he opened it.

Guest looked up, watching the ambulance put 007n7's body in a bag and felt like vomiting. His vision blurred and he focused back on C00lkidd, keeping the boys head on his chest while he cries. "H-Hey, kid.." Guest tried to assure the boy, but his voice cracked. "He's just- he's sleeping.. yeah..." Guest tried to shake off the overwhelming Guilt, he couldn't be so selfish, not when C00lkidd needed him the most.

But as he tried to calm the kid down, Guest realized something. Who would be there for C00lkidd? Guest couldn't handle him, not while he was like this. Another officer suddenly stood in front of Guest, her expression grim. Guest looked up, not even noticing how teary eyed he was. "There was.. something in the glove compartment. You're Guest, yes?" The woman asked, to which Guest nodded.

"Y-Yeah.. i'm-" Guest was cut off when the officer handed Guest two notes. Guests eyes widened, recognizing it as 007n7's handwriting. He took them, but before he could open it, the woman interrupted. "Please.. open it when you're home." And with that, the officer walked off, leaving Guest distraught and shameful. It took thirty minutes before they were allowed to leave, sending their regards to Guest and Chance.

The rest of the walk home was silent, C00lkidd having cried himself to sleep. Charlotte didn't react nearly as much, since she wasn't that close. Meanwhile Chance avoiding talking, knowing if he tried to cheer anybody up, Guest would probably lash out. As they stepped onto Guests driveway, Chance spoke up. "Just.. take it easy, Guest." Chance requested softly, his tone uncharacteristically quiet.

Guest just nodded, going inside without wishing Chance goodnight or inviting him inside. Guest laid C00lkidd down in the guest room, before ordering Charlotte to go to her own for the night. Guest sat at the kitchen table, staring at the envelope. He tried to bring himself to open it, but kept remembering going back to lashing out at the man.

Guest, with shaky hands, began to tear open the envelope. Inside it was what Guest could only make out to be a suicide note, but everything was hastily scribbled out. His eyes darted across, trying to read through the lines. "No.." Guest mumbled, unsuccessful. His gaze lowered to the single sentence, the writing shaky.

'Take care of him for me.'

Guest stared at the sentence, re-reading it over and over. he hadn't noticed tears dripping down his cheeks until they landed on the paper, and Guest crumbled the note. "Oh, seven.." Guest sniffled, burying his face in his hands. He couldn't face what he had done, what he could've prevented. Guest didn't move from that table for the whole night, shame and guilt overwhelming him.

Chapter 8: Now That You're Gone

Chapter Text

Guest was crouched down, helping C00lkidd put a clip-on tie on. His eyes were bloodshot and bags were under them, too exhausted and tired to deal with anything else. It has been two weeks since 007n7's death, and now Guest had to take C00lkidd to the funeral with all his things, where he could pass the boy onto 007n7's only relative, 007e7. "It'll be alright, kid.." Guest tried to assure, but it just wasn't there.

"It's only thirty minutes away." Guest promised, kissing the boys forehead softly. C00lkidd sniffled, clutching the two bags containing his clothes and toys. "I don't want to go to him.. I want my dad!" Guest sighed, getting tired of these tantrums. He didn't respond, and instead took one of the bags before walking towards the door. "We-.. I'll be back at seven, Charlotte." Guest called out to Charlotte, who was sitting on the couch in the living room.

Guest lead c00lkidd outside to his van, letting the boy sit in the back. Guest adjusted his suit, trying his best to not break down right there and then. Guest glanced in his mirror, seeing C00lkidd quietly staring out of the window. He let out a shaky breath, unsure how to bring it up. "I.. heard 007e7 has other kids?. Maybe you'll get along with them?" Guest tried to sound optimistic for the boy, but he just wasn't sure what to do.

"You hate me.." C00lkidd muttered, crossing his arms. Guests eyebrows shot up in surprise, and he opened his mouth to defend himself. "Oh, kid. Don't-" "You do!" C00lkidd cut him off, tears welling up in his eyes. "So does papa, that's why he left!" C00lkidd sniffled, his outburst sending Guest into silence. Guest didn't respond and focused his eyes on the road, even if it was becoming blurry for him.

The rest of the ride was quiet, and they made it to the funeral home. Guest parked the car in the lot, helping C00lkidd take his bags out. "Hey, kid." Guest called out suddenly. "C'mere." Before C00lkidd could reject, Guest picked C00lkidd up, hugging the boy. C00lkidds body tensed up, before beginning to tremble. He wrapped his arms around Guests neck, beginning to sob and cry into the mans shoulder. Guest was quiet, rocking the boy gently.

"You'll be okay.." Guest murmured, his tone quiet. Guest set C00lkidd down, giving the boy a moment to compose himself before nodding. He took C00lkidds hand, beginning to lead the boy inside the funeral home. Inside there was 007e7, shifting uncomfortably in his own suit. He was by the casket, which was kept closed for obvious reasons. Guest gently gave C00lkidds hand one last gentle squeeze, before letting go.

"Uh.. hey, 7e7." Guest got 007e7's attention. The man looked up, spotting C00lkidd clinging to Guests leg. 007e7 nodded in acknowledgement, not really in the mood for conversation. "Morning, Guest." Guest nudged C00lkidd forward, gently letting the boy go to him. 007e7 was quiet, before facing Guest. "You.. Why are you here, Guest?" The question made Guest pause for a moment, glancing down to C00lkidd. "I- huh?"

007e7 paused as well, remembering C00lkidd was here, it probably wasn't best to start a fight. 007e7 let out a small, irritated sigh, before he continued. "Please, Guest. Just- go home." Guest was dumbfounded, but nodded. He's just grieving, Guest figured. He crouched down to face C00lkidd. "Hey, bud.. Guess I'll see you later?" Guest offered, managing to keep it together for him. C00lkidd nodded, wrapping his arms around Guest one last time.

Guest held C00lkidd tightly, but let go after hearing 007e7 clear his throat. "..Now, please." Guest sighed, releasing C00lkidd and standing up. "Alright, then.." Guest stepped back, before turning around and quickly leaving the funeral home. Guest made it to his car and sat down in the driver's seat, the tears that had threatened to burst all morning now spilling down his cheeks.

"Oh, oh God." Guest buried his face in his hands, letting out a choked sob. His hands curled up into a fist and he hit the steering wheel. "Fuck!" All the previous shame, guilt, and stress pooled out in that one moment. It felt like hours for Guest to compose himself, before he got an idea. As if a flip switched, Guest fumbled to put his seatbelt on and nearly swerved out of the parking lot.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Around 6:30 pm, Guest pulled back into the mini cemetery where the funeral home stayed at. He got out of his car, quietly making his way to 007n7's newly dug grave. It was quiet, the only sound being Guests boots crunching in the dead grass. Guest had bought a bouquet in his hands, figuring at least a gift would be enough. As Guest approached, he spotted another figure there, making him stop in his tracks.

Standing by the freshly dug grave was a cloaked figure, dwarfing Guests height by at least a foot. Guest shuddered a bit, but ignored the man. He approached the gravestone, silently standing next to the figure. His nose scrunched up, smelling the rotting smell next to him. Guest gagged, making his presence known. "..Guest." The figures voice was disoriented, as if lagged or glitchy. Guest glanced over at the figure, his brows furrowing in confusion.

"Ah- Uhm.. hello." Guest greeted, trying to figure out if the knew the man or not. The person- if you could call them that, didn't look at him, as if it didn't want to be seen. "I.. must've missed his funeral." They eventually continued, getting a solemn nod from Guest. "Yeah.. me too, figured I'd just drop these off for him." His grip tightened on the bouquet, before gently tossing it onto the freshly dug dirt.

"Yes.. you two were-"The figure paused, as if reconsidering their words, before continuing. "..Close, I assume." Guest was silent for a moment, before speaking up. ".. I-I'm sorry, do we know each other?" The question seemed to amused the figure, who let out a small, forced laugh. "No.. not for a long while." The figure finally turned their body to face Guest, who stepped back in repulsion.

The right half of their face resembled a comedy mask, the left side rotting, with their eye missing. The rest of his body wasn't visible, due to a black cloak Guest turned his head away, unable to look any longer without reminding himself of 007n7. "I-I'm sorry, I have to get back to my daughter." Guest excused himself, turning and speed walking back to his car.

The figure- Noli, watched. His grin died down, to a more serious expression. He let out a shaky breath, turning back to the grave. They were silent, finally alone. "..Hey, seven." Noli spoke up, taking his hand out to reveal a void star he had been intending to use. "Let's do this... one last time, old friend."

And with that, Noli crushed the void star with his hand. The residence lit up, before detonating.
