Guardsman's Notes.
The Estate of Vi'Revas
5 Harvestmere, 9:41
Diary. I cannot begin to explain the chaotic events which have turned this estate on it's end these past 24 hours.
An intruder breached the walls of Vi'Revas, right under the Watch Captain's nose. Right under our noses! Cullen Captain Rutherford is beside himself at his percieved oversight in security, even as I try to impress upon him that he was precisely doing his duty by investigating the fires.
It pains me to see him distraught over this. The usual poise and confidence of his gait is gone in favour of a tired trudging as he looks over the same logs again and again.
The only upside I have encountered is that he has not as much spoken to Mistress Lavellan since the attack. Barely scratched as she was, he worries too much. Perhaps I will see their rendezvous in the gardens come to an end before Winter sets in.
p.s.
The Viscount was injured but is recovering.

Diary.
I have since learned that the intruder which injured Lord Fen'Harel was none other than an assassin from Antiva. The servents are saying he was after the Mistress Lavellan. For what, I cannot possibly imagine.
She moves about the estate with abandon now. I am beginning to doubt she was injured at all. I shouldn't say such things of course. The Captain does seem to trust her, and I respect him implicitly...
However there is the matter of her ladies-maid Sera apparently having spent the WHOLE night in her bed! How can this stand?! Something is afoot with these two, and I cannot doubt that it is highly immoral.
Diary, I have not even told you of the positively lewd vestments she's been favouring as of late. I nearly saw her private globes burst forth from her "gown" not last Thuresday eve. Another gift from Lord Pavus, no doubt. The least of the Viscount's acquaintances.
Captain Rutherford feigns interest out of curtesy, but even he must be reaching his limit. Marisol in the kitchens has lent me a volume on Dalish customs which she promises is, quite frankly, alarming. No wonder his Lordship is wary to bring her into his household. I shall endeavor to read more in the interim moments between my duties before reporting to the Captain.

Diary.
Marisol and Helena swear to me they saw the very BOSOMS of Mistress Lavellan pop right out from her chemise while reading to the Viscount in his convalescense. Mistress is right I dare say! Harlot! To imprint such images onto his Lordship while he is in such a precarious and imprintable state!
I would be wholly unsurprised if I turned a corner only to be assaulted by her lasciviousness, breasting boobily down the halls as she is.
My Captain's already in a tough spot, still distraught over security. I know he has been actively avoiding her company. It is easy to understand why he would impose such strict non-contact measures. One must keep their wits at a time like this.
But Diary, I worry for his constitution, truly. At night when I softly press my ear to the door of his quarters {to assess his health}, instead of sleep, sometimes I hear a fierce panting and strained groaning. What demons he must be facing. Truly a noble man.
p.s.
Her eminence the Countess Mythal graced the estate with her presence today. A handsome woman and a model of femininity for Mistress Lavellan.
However she brought with her the Lord Pavus. I've heard from Eldin in the stables that the two have been gallyvanting around the manor with drink while his lordship recovers.
p.p.s
Lord Pavus has already joined up with Mistress and her maid in questionable activites.
I truly cannot postulate what will become of this household by week's end at this rate.
