Believe it or not — Izuku Midoriya has a friend. A friend who doesn't care he's quirkless, His first real friend besides ‘Kacchan’— Bakugo stopped talking to Izuku when he found out Izuku was quirkless, but he never participates in the bullying most people do. Today was honestly especially worse for Izuku. All he could think about was the probably broken arm he got from one of his bullies. His arm felt like it was snapped like a twig. He kept trying to push those thoughts away and try to ignore the pain because he's just a useless, waste of space who doesn't deserve to get medical attention, and anyways no doctor would even treat him because he's quirkless. “Midoriya.’ A sharp voice cut through his pondering — causing him to jump and snap out of his spiral. He curls in on himself and avoids making any eye contact whatsoever. ’Y-Yes Miss Ryoko?” His teacher did not look pleased to say the least. “The school day is over. Go home’ Izuku jumps out of his chair, scooping up his backpack into his small scrawny arms and darting out the door with no hesitation.
Izuku finds himself sitting against an alley wall not too far from his school. He's shaking, the pain too intense to bear. A splitting pain is shooting through his arm that his classmate earlier slammed in between a door while laughing. Izuku has no clue what to do. He has no one who can help him. He could call his friend Hitoshi? — No, He can't worry Hitoshi with his problems. They are his problems. Not Hitoshi's. Okay, So scratch that. No calling Hitoshi. He takes a shaky breath. His breath hitches as he clutches his chest, His vision getting blurry by the edges. 'Fuck. come on. God damn it. I need to breathe. Think logically.' He takes a few more shaky breaths. "Hey maybe I can talk to Eraserhead...? He's a hero, and he's said before that he won't arrest me. He says he only wants to talk. Thats an option. 'Fuck. I've run away from him every time. and what if he was lying just so I'm easier to turn in.' After Izuku has calmed down and stopped mumbling to himself he decides the most logical decision would be just to head home and attempt his best first aid so he can go on patrol tonight. Luckily for Izuku his apartment isn't too far away. Once he's safely into his apartment and hid dad isn't home, thank god. Izuku just misses his mother she was so much kinder than his father ever was. After a few minutes of rummaging through his bathroom he found some bandages. He carefully tries to wrap his arm. The bandages are way too tight, but he doesn't overthink it and passes it as 'good enough'. He grabs a water bottle from his kitchen and takes a few pain killers. He sees his backpack and gets an idea. He's going to try and escape his hell of a father. His dad isn't home right now so he wouldn't have to worry about that, he could take enough money to stay at a hotel or even buy an apartment eventually. He could get away from his dad. No more of getting burned by his dad's quirk. He excitedly texts his friend Hitoshi to give him a warning that he may not answer because he might not have internet access.
