♡๑ New friend ๑♡

Summary:

One day, a boy named Taph arrives at SOFT. X2 becomes interested in the boy and begins to open up to him more and more. Will they become friends? And if so, for how long?

---------
It's stupid fanfic about my silly headcannons I made, if you want to see some good fanfiction go to look somewhere else. Probably a lot of mistakes and short ah chapters I will try to fix it later.

Notes:

WARING SPOILERS!!!
Here my headcannons shout these two (don't read if you don't want to have any spoiler)
My headcannons
X2
- she doesn't talk very much, only when she must or when she is comfortable
- He sometimes visits Roblox HQ but can only sit in the telomon office
- he is a good swordsman for a child
- Brighteyes taught her how to make flower wreaths
- He is the older sibling of taph (they aren't really sibling, Taph just worked for telomon when he was young (!
- He was forced by Telemon to harm Taph. This was a lesson in not getting attached to anyone.
- With each humiliation he suffered, his corruption grew, growing to such an extent that Telamon banned them. Then all the hatred he was created crashed down upon him. That is how we got X1
- Telamon wasn't the one who destroyed his wings. It was the hatred that increasingly consumed his body that caused the feathers to fall from his wings. When there were no feathers left on his wings, he decided to cut them off. He left only the wings on his head.

Taph
- He worked for Telemon at a young age, he cleaned up after fights
- He once opposed Telomon, which displeased the god. The result of his opposition was the loss of his tongue.
- X2 cut off his arm, and after that, he was sent to Roblox HQ by buildeman. Because of this, he admires buildemam greatly.

Chapter 1: Prologue- "First meeting"

Chapter Text

It was an ordinary day at SOFT, X2 trained in sword fighting, his skills were quite good for his young age. While training, he felt Telomon's overwhelming aura, X2 knew that this meant his return to SOFT. X2 wasn't too happy about this fact, God himself was quite demanding and brutal, he never lost a sword fight. Everywhere on the ground you can see remnants of the battles, such as blood and sometimes even the bodies of Telomon's opponents. X2 wasn't thrilled by the sight but he had to get used to it, after all he had been here all day.

-X2!-Telomon's calling voice rang out, after a second he was already at the swordsman's side. He didn't want God to be angry with him, it never ended well for those who undertook it. X2 noticed a boy standing near Telomon. He was of medium stature, most likely a little younger than X2. His complexion was a shade of white, and his head was covered with coal-black dreadlocks. The boy was wearing a suit that had most likely been given to him by Telamon himself, he recognized it by the markings on the suit. X2 was amazed by his wings; they looked large and strong, and he was a little envious. His own wings were small, and he could barely stay above the ground. He wondered for a moment how he had managed to develop them so quickly,

- X2 this is Taph, he will be cleaning here from today-
- um... Hey? - X2 replied with a nod, after this greeting Telamon disappeared, leaving the boys alone.
- So..where can I find some cleaning supplies?- X2 motioned for Taph to follow him.
- So you're X2? Nice to meet you, I hope we can get along !-X2 smiled in response

They reached the storage room. It contained all the swords, mops, brooms, buckets, and other items reasonably necessary in such a place. Taph picked up the broom.
-I better get to work, thanks for showing me the clipboard. We will meet again! Bye !-
Taph left and X2 waved goodbye, the young one returned to his training, he thought for a moment about the new boy he had met, however, this thought was quickly forgotten.

Chapter 2: First steps ~♪

New chapter yey, there are some grammar mistakes but yeah next chapter probably in next week. Btw I have yt channel with forsaken reactions name : szop.xoxo

Chapter Text

Taph had been at SOFT for about a week now, diligently doing his job every day. He never left any blood on the floor. The players were delighted; a clean arena wasn't an everyday occurrence for them. They were used to dirt, blood, and bodies. As far as he knew, he was the first person hired to clean it up. Taph found satisfaction in the players' reactions to cleanliness, it meant his job was being done properly and he was proud of it. Sometimes when he was working he noticed X2 training, he looked at him from time to time, Taph was delighted with his fighting style it looked majestic, as if he could communicate with his sword. This confirmed Taph's statement that the other was working hard to improve his fencing skills. He always appreciated this trait in others, a trait that allows you to develop, a trait that motivates others to act, that's what Taph liked. Taph wanted to talk to X2 more than once, but unfortunately he didn't know how to do it. There was always something standing in his way, responsibilities, lack of time or simply not knowing how to do it. He really wanted a friend, the thought warmed his heart. Taph wanted someone to fool around with, to talk to, or just to spend time with; it all seemed so pleasant to him. Unfortunately, X2 didn't seem thrilled with their previous conversation, Taph wasn't even sure if it could be called a conversation after all, X2 hadn't even said a word. The boy wondered for a moment why X2 hadn't spoken. Maybe it was because he was shy? Or maybe he was mute and couldn't speak? Many other ideas crossed his mind, and with these in mind he headed for the cupboard. After all, he had a job to do and he couldn't just sit around.

As he was walking towards the storage room, he noticed two people talking to each other, they were X2 and Telamon. He couldn't hear their conversation, he was too far away, all he could see was X2's facial expressions (he couldn't see Telomon's expressions because of the hood the god wears). X2 didn't look happy, he looked disappointed? Maybe a little angry and sad. As the God rose into the air and flew away at incredible speed, Taph assumed their conversation was over. When Taph was about to return to his work, he noticed that X2 had fled the conversation site. Taph was worried about this situation, no one runs away from a place in a good mood, especially since the other one looked depressed already. Taph didn't want to stick his nose in other people's business, but he wanted to know what had happened and if he could help his potential friend. He thought about it for another five seconds, then decided that you only live once. The boy ran in the direction where X2 was going, and as he went further, Taph noticed that he was leaving SOFT, a few warning thoughts crossed his mind, but he decided to ignore them. He couldn't back down now; he had a chance to make a friend. He couldn't back down now.

He entered a new world, a gust of wind hit him in the face and a beautiful sight met his eyes. The temperature was summer, not too cold and not too hot, and there were flowers everywhere. Taph looked at the flowers, many of them he saw for the first time. Some of them had unusual shapes, the boy noticed flowers in the shape of a heart, a star and a triangle. In the center, a tree caught his eye; it was the only one in the entire area. He wasn't familiar with tree species, so Taph couldn't tell what kind it was. Under that tree, he noticed X2 crying, and the sight touched Taph's heart. He didn't like the sight; he didn't want his potential friend to be sad. Unfortunately, the boy didn't know how to comfort people; he'd never been good at it. Taph stood there for a few seconds, wondering if X2 would want his comfort. However, he couldn't back down now, he had to finally take the first step. So he went to him.

-Is everything okay?-X2 in response covered his face with his white wings, looking defenseless and even a little pathetic in a positive way. This confirmed Tap's statement that the conversation the other had mustn't have been pleasant. X2's appearance gave away that he wasn't ready to talk about it, and taph wasn't going to force him to do so.
-Umm... you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to... I won't force you to.- Taph let out a breath he hadn't realized he had been holding. The boy looked at X2, his posture didn't change, he was still sitting curled up and covered under the tree.
- Can I sit next to you?- X2 moved a little further to make space for Taph. The second one accepted the offer with enthusiasm and sat down next to him.
-I know you don't want to talk about your past conversation, but how about I tell you something about myself?- Taph didn't see any objections from X2 so he took that as permission to continue.
- So, yes, I'm Taph, but you probably already know that. I came to SOFT to maintain order it may not be the most interesting job, but it's always a little more money.- As Taph began to adjust, X2 slowly began to reveal his face, which meant he was starting to feel comfortable. This pleased Taph, so he continued his monologue.
- My hobby is making bombs, I often fail at them but I'm getting better at it. I can show you how to do it sometime if you want. Additionally, my favourite cake is brownie, my mom makes the best brownies in the world.-
X2, while Taph was adjusting, began to uncover his face. After a while, his face was no longer covered by the wings. He listened to Taph with a broad smile on his face.
-I guess I should get back, I have work waiting for me. - Taph got up from his sitting position and walked towards the exit.
- Thank you for the conversation, X2! I hope this happens again and we can become friends.- While saying these words he was waving goodbye to X2. The boy left the world of the meadow and returned to SOFT.
X2 waved to Taph as well.

Chapter Text

It's been two days since two kids met. X2 just finished her training, which was quite exhausting for her. She was still remembering the earlier meeting with Taph, and she was embarrassed by the whole situation. She didn't want anyone to see her in such a state, she should be strong and durable..... At least that's what Telamon was saying to her. All of this made her think again about her last argument with hers creator. She didn't want to remember it. As X2 began to lose himself in her thoughts, hep suddenly felt a touch on her shoulder. X2 immediately reached for her wooden sword and got into a fighting stance. She was prepared to attack.

-Relax, it's just me, Taph!- The boy waved his hands to signal the other to calm down and put down his sword. When X2 noticed that the person who touched him was Taph, she immediately calmed down and came down from his fighting position and sat down.
-I'm sorry... I didn't mean to scare you.-
Taph slowly sat down next to X2, carefully so as not to scare him. X2 was still a bit uncomfortable, she had never spent time with someone his age, so it was quite stressful for her. She noticed that Taph had started pulling some metal parts out of his bag.
-I was telling you about bombs recently, so I picked up the parts to make one. I think I can show you how to make one, and then you can try it yourself— X2 remembered his last conversation with the boy, and remembered that Taph had promised her to teach her how to make a bomb. X2 didn't mind, she would have liked to see how it's done. So she settled into a more comfortable sitting position and waited for Taph to begin his lesson on bombs.

Taph talked about his bombs for over 30 minutes, X2 noticed the excitement and passion in his violet eyes. This made X2 listen more attentively, feeling his enthusiasm seeping through to her. But those eyes reminded him of something else, reminded him of some of the new players in SOFT. Those who come with the intention of defeating the God himself, the Telamon. (X2 knew that the twinkle in the players' eyes disappeared as quickly as it appeared, but she preferred not to think about it.)
-So... that's it, I hope I didn't talk about this too long. When it comes to bombs topics, sometimes I just can't shut up.-
-Umm.. no.. that was nice to hear..- Taph stared at her for a long moment. X2 was starting to feel uncomfortable, her wings instinctively curling closer to her.
-YOU CAN TALK?!?- Taph quickly moved closer to her, X2 began to feel even less comfortable than before. Her wings were a little closer to her body than they had been a second ago. Taph, noticing that X2 was starting to feel uncomfortable, immediately moved away, he was looking embarrassed.
-Sorry, I'm just surprised. I thought you were mute...- Taph looked very embarrassed, a faint pink tint on his cheeks from this. It was obvious that he felt embarrassed, but X2 couldn't be angry at him. People often think she is mute and she honestly preferred people to think that way. Thanks to this, she didn't have to force himself to talk to others.(the very thought of talking to a SOFT player terrifies her )

-I shouldn't make a big deal out of it.. , I'm sorry..- X2 smiled at Taph that everything was fine and that he didn't have to worry.
-Anyway, do you want to help me put together the bomb? I brought more parts than usual- X2 sat closer to Taph, so he took that as consent.

The two kids had a great time. X2 carefully repeated Taph's movements and listened carefully to his instructions. X2 hadn't had this much fun in a long time.
-Um be careful X2.. don't- Before Taph could finish his conversation, the bombs exploded in X2's hands. X2's face and hands were covered in smog, Taph claimed that she looked hilarious. The boy took a tissue out of his bag and started wiping X2's face.
-You're lucky it wasn't a powerful bomb, or you would have ended up with burns on your face.- After a while, X2's face was clean, with only small black streaks on it. Taph handed X2 a tissue to wipe her hands. Suddenly, X2 felt a strong aura behind him. It was Telamon. She immediately felt fear throughout his entire body, and it made her feel nauseous. Shee felt like vomiting. (She knew he couldn't do it, especially when Taph was here, God would immediately scold her for showing weakness in front of others)
Taph, noticing Telamon, immediately stood up and bowed respectfully.
-Telamon orders you to return to work- He turned to Taph, and the boy nodded in response. He collected his metal bomb parts from the floor and waved goodbye to X2. A moment later, the boy was gone. X2 was unable to wave back; her entire body was motionless. She was too scared.
-Telamon warns you not to get too close to the boy, relationships are connected with emotions, and emotions are a weakness- After these words, Telamon flew away, leaving X2 alone.

Notes:

I like to imagine Telamon talking about himself in 3rd person, I took it from another fanfic, unfortunately I don't remember the name or author. And in next chapter we will learn about argument what Telamon had with X2 :p.

Chapter 4: ✿Flower wreath✿

Notes:

Yo I'm not dead. I'll fix my earlier chapters when I have time.... It's short but yeahhh it's sound Okey 😭 enjoy!!!

Chapter Text

Taph had just finished their endless task, which meant, at last, a brief moment of rest. Cleaning the whole of SOFT was no small feat; it usually consumed seven to ten long hours, leaving them weary but satisfied. Now, battles raged again upon the platforms, and in only a few hours they would return to their duty, sweeping away the traces of chaos. For now, however, there was nothing to do. Nothing but wait.

And boredom gnawed at them mercilessly. Here, the only pastime was fighting and Taph knew well that combat was not theirs to master. If they ever dared step into the arena, they would likely wake in a hospital bed, bruised and broken for a week.

Their restless thoughts were scattered by a voice.
“Um… hey, Taph! Do you have a moment?”

X2’s voice still carried a strangeness that Taph was not used to, yet it warmed them. It meant she was opening herself, little by little. They smiled toward the fencer.
“Hi, X2! I’ve just finished my work, so yes,I’ve got time. Do you need something?”
She seemed relieved by the answer, her shoulders loosening as though she had braced herself for rejection.
“Would you… walk with me? Last time you showed me something wonderful. I want to return the favor.”

Her words trembled. She could not hold their gaze, her fingers tugging nervously at a scrap of her robe. Taph tilted their head, then nodded gently.
“Of course. Lead the way.”

She stepped forward with hesitation, as if testing the ground, waiting for Taph to follow. When they did, she turned and began guiding them toward the quiet beyond.

The path was swallowed in five minutes of silence—comfortable, fragile, like a glass kept whole by care. A breeze greeted them as they arrived, brushing across their faces. Taph blinked, wonder flooding them once more at the beauty of the place. X2 was already running toward the solitary tree at the meadow’s heart. Taph chased after her with a laugh, leaping onto her back; both tumbled down together, rolling in the grass. Taph’s laughter rang first, bright and sharp, and soon X2’s joined it, softer but no less sincere.

When the laughter faded, they sat close.
“How did you find this place?” Taph breathed. “It’s so beautiful… I could spend my last moments here.”

The light in their eyes made the words ring true.
“Brighteyes showed it to me,” X2 admitted, awe at first lacing her tone, only to vanish by the end. Taph caught the shift instantly.
“X2… are you alright? Your voice sounded almost… sad.”

At once her wings folded around her face, a shield she always raised when uneasy. Taph laid a hand on her shoulder, a quiet promise of presence.

“When you last saw me here,” she whispered, “when I was… at my lowest… it was because I’d fought with Telomon. He forbade me from seeing her. And she
..she matters to me more than I can say.”

Taph leaned closer, listening, knowing this moment was weighty.
“But that’s life, isn’t it? Come, let me tell you about flowers. I know a great deal.”

Her smile was brittle, but Taph did not push. They would wait, however long it took, until she was ready to open fully.
“I’d love to hear,” they said softly.

Among blossoms of every hue, X2 plucked a single daisy and held it up to the light.
“This one means unspoken love. Innocence, too. Common, yes, but loved all the same.”

Her voice brimmed with reverence, as though flowers held secrets worth more than gold.
“Do you know the meanings of all of them?” Taph asked.
“Not all,” she said after a thoughtful pause. “Just those that grow here. But I’d love to learn more.”

Taph smiled. She was remarkable, and they wanted to know her in every shade and depth.
“And which flower speaks of true friendship?”
She closed her eyes, thinking.
“White chrysanthemums. They carry purity, and a bond that should never break.”

Taph listened, entranced.

Time slipped byan hour or more as X2 shared meanings and mysteries of petals. Then she showed them how to weave crowns. Taph’s hands, trained in delicate work, soon caught the rhythm. They lifted their creation with pride.
“How does it look?”
“Beautiful,” she said. “And I see you’ve fallen for chrysanthemums.”

Indeed, Taph’s crown was woven entirely from them, while hers was a blend of violets, nigella, and cyclamen. Taph cradled her crown carefully, afraid to ruin what she had shaped with such tenderness.
“They look… unusual. Almost somber. What do they mean?”
Her lips curved faintly. “Perhaps someday I’ll tell you.”

Then, with a sigh, she stretched out on the grass.
“I’m tired. You won’t mind if I rest?”
Taph lay down beside her.
“Not at all. I could use a little rest too.”

Their eyes drifted shut. Darkness washed over their world—perhaps the beginning of a dream more wondrous than waking, or perhaps a shadow of something far worse.

I know this is short 😭✌️
