Chapter Text
“... what have I done…?” Mr. Puzzles sobbed, staring at the bullet that Mr. WPNZ gave him, “I’m… going to fix this…”
Into the scene comes an out of breath, discombobulated Alexander. Netalie was no longer strapped to his chest. He doubled over, breathing heavily.
“Wh… what are you doing here..? Aren’t you horrified and ashamed to be… with me…?” Mr. Puzzles asked between sobs, “you saw what I did, and yet you still chase after me… why..?”
“Because I don’t care. I know that you’re still Mr. Puzzles. That you’re still MY Mr. Puzzles.” Alexander replied determinedly.
“...’you’re’ Mr. Puzzles is just an act! A fraudulent mask..! A fake…” Mr. Puzzles responded, putting the bullet back into his pocket.
“Then I’ll learn to love the real Mr. Puzzles.” Alexander said.
“Why?! Why are you so determined to love me?! After everything I’ve done you should HATE me!!” Mr. Puzzles shouted, tears lining his eyes once more.
“But I don’t hate you.” Alexander replied, offering Mr. Puzzles a hand up.
“GET AWAY FROM ME!!!” Mr. Puzzles shouted, slapping Alexander’s hand away.
“Alright, if that’s what you want..” Alexander said, walking away.
Mr. Puzzles stared in disbelief at where Alexander had just been. He hadn’t expected Alexander to be so reciprocal of his rejection. He rocked back and forth, crossing his arms over his legs and sobbing into his knees.
“NO!! WAIT ALEXANDER!!!-” Mr. Puzzles screamed into the void, sobbing, “ALEXANDER I DIDN’T MEAN IT!!! I didn’t mean it…”
Mr. Puzzles sobbed harder at the realization Alexander wasn’t coming back, he had pushed away his husband one too many times.
-at the SMG4 castle-
Alexander opened the door to the SMG4 castle and collapsed into the room, seeing his daughter sitting with Meggy. Tears fully filled his eyes after holding them in the whole walk back.
“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry…” Alexander said weakly.
“You walked out on us…” Meggy replied coldly, “You ran off, for Mr. Puzzles!”
Alexander stared at Meggy, the knowledge he deserved it not softening the blow of the lecture.
“You left us here, to run off to your ‘boyfriend’, who, may I remind you, literally brainwashed and tortured us!” SMG3 shouted angrily, SMG4 stopping him from lunging at Alexander.
“I know… I’m being stupid, I’m sorry.” Alexander said, feeling guilty for still caring about Mr. Puzzles
“Alex… I… I don’t know what to say.” SMG4 said, not making eye contact with Alexander, “I guess I’m just… disappointed…”
Alexander felt an immediate surge of regret and shame wash over him. His feelings were so messy, he cared for his friends at the SMG4 crew, but a life without Mr. Puzzles felt incomplete and pointless. Is this what he’d become? A puppet dependant on their master?
Everyone else left the room to regroup, leaving Alexander, Toomp and Mr. WPNZ in the room alone.
“Hey, kid. I know how you feel.” Mr. WPNZ said sincerely.
“...What?” Alexander asked, not expecting WPNZ to talk to him.
“My time with Mr. Puzzles was brief, but he really gets ya’ right in the heart, huh?” Mr. WPNZ said, grimacing.
“Yeah, literally.” Alexander replied, “I just want him to be okay…”
“Part of me does too.” Mr. WPNZ rolled his eyes, “the stupid, stupid part of me…”
Alexander looked up at WPNZ, an older man that had clearly been through a lot, who was choosing to help Alexander instead of running off and robbing a bank or something.
“I just… I guess I can’t imagine myself without him, as dumb as that sounds…” Alexander muttered.
Mr. WPNZ just nodded.

SMG4 was just chilling on the couch, making youtube videos on his laptop, when he heard a knock on the door of the SMG4 castle. He couldn’t think about who it could possibly be, since the entire crew was in the castle after they got transported into Mr. Puzzles’ “game show spectacular”. He got up cautiously, it could be a stranger, or worse, a door-to-door salesperson!
SMG4 opened the door to see the tall figure of Mr. Puzzles in the doorway, but something was… different…
“Mr. Puzzles?! We don’t want to see you! Get out!” SMG4 shouted.
“You have to help me…” the voice wasn’t Mr. Puzzles, it was less dramatic and a little bit deeper, too.
“Who… are you?” SMG4 asked, looking back into the castle to see if anyone was around.
“My name is Alexander. My body was stolen by… Mr. Puzzles, did you say?” Alexander replied, his voice just above a whisper.
“Why should I believe you’re not just one of his stupid minions?!” SMG4 asked loudly.
“I don’t really know who he is!” Alexander shouted, “I only know his name because you called me by it.”
“Hm…” SMG4 put his hand to his chin, looking down, “I guess that makes sense…”
“What makes sense?” Alexander asked
“Mr. Puzzles, he would need a new body to successfully mess with us again.”
“Mess with you?” Alexander asked, his screen displaying a question mark.
“The body you’re inhabiting… Mr. Puzzles is kind of a prick.” SMG4 said.
“That explains a lot actually.” Alexander said.
SMG4 opened the door a bit wider and gestured for Alexander to come in. Alex had to crouch down to fully fit in the doorframe. Meggy came down the stairs, yawning.
“What’s going on?” She asked, noticing Alexander, “Mr. Puzzles?! Why would you let him in here, 4?!”
“That’s not Mr. Puzzles.” SMG4 replied.
Alexander turned around to see Meggy, and Meggy noticed the different screen.
“Um… hi..? I’m Alexander…” Alexander said awkwardly, “I’m definitely in a predicament right now…”
Alexander chuckled, Meggy didn’t return the favor. She turned around and went back to her room, not wanting to deal with this whole situation.
“Sorry…” Alexander muttered.
“It’s not your fault Mr. Puzzles is doing this.” SMG4 said, putting a hand on Alexander’s arm, “it’s gonna be OK.”
Alexander blushed, looking away from SMG4.
“Do you mind explaining to me what happened?” SMG4 asked.
“Well, since I am half TV, I can connect to any device with a screen or sound system and it’ll switch with me. Mr. Puzzles took advantage of that fact and is using MY body for who knows what!” Alexander explained.
“Why can’t you just find him and switch back?” SMG4 asked
“Well, being in something like a TV or a microwave, it’s easier to switch back, since the objects are inanimate. But with another living being, they’d need to somehow consent to me switching with them.” Alexander explained.
“Well then how did he hijack your body?” SMG4 asked.
“Well, we were friends…” Alexander said, blushing and looking away, “he made me think it would just be a temporary thing… then he ran off and I’m too drained to connect to his body.”
“Thats horrible. When I get my hands on him-” SMG4 didn’t finish his sentence.
Alexander pulled his knees to his chest, he hadn’t really been ‘possessed’ by Mr. Puzzles. This was a ploy so that Mr. Puzzles could trap the SMG4 crew once again. He’d bring the SMG4 crew to Mr. Puzzles hideout and get them back into his head to brainwash them.
“Where do you think he went?” SMG4 asked, breaking Alexanders guilty silence.
“I don’t know, does he have a secret hideout?” Alexander asked in reply.
“If he does, I bet me and SMG3 could find it!” SMG4 said confidently
“Thank you.” Alexander replied

Chapter 4: After the events of Guns n' puzzles
Summary:
TW: minor child neglect, censored swearing and weird insults
Chapter Text
(canon divergent)
It was a few days after the events of ‘guns n puzzles’, Mr. Puzzles had been nowhere to be seen ever since Alexander got home. Alexander assumed he was planning something, but the others were more skeptical.
“So… what do we do with the giant mechanical shark-elephant in the room?” SMG4 asked, looking at Mr. WPNZ
“You do know I can hear you and I’m not stupid, right?” Mr. WPNZ asked rhetorically.
“I mean, he was quite good in his fight with Mr. Puzzles.” Meggy said, “So it would be killing 2 birds with 1 stone, he gets revenge, we get Mr. Puzzles out of our hair.”
“You’re just going to talk about me like I’m not here, aren’t you?” Mr. WPNZ asked, rolling his eyes.
“Maybe he should be included in this conversation…” Alexander added, “I bet you hate Mr. Puzzles more then we do right now…”
“Finally someone who talks to me like I’m a real person! Take notes.” Mr. WPNZ said.
“Fine.” Meggy grunted.
“Alright, so, I know where his secret lair is, and…” Alexander paused, realizing something.
“Hey, earth to Alex, ‘and’ what??” SMG3 asked, waving a hand in front of Alexander’s face
“He has my kids.” Alexander said.
“What.” Mr. WPNZ looked up at Alexander.
“Netalie… I gave her to him while he was going in…” Alexander said, seeming detached from reality.
“Why would you do that?!” Karen shouted like Alexander was the stupidest person on Earth.
“He said it would help him seem more trustworthy, I just wanted him out of jail…” Alexander replied blankly, “I don’t know where IV and Scarlett would be…”
“You have more than one kid?! How long have you known Mr. Puzzles?!” SMG3 asked disgustedly.
“Like… maybe 3 months before I met you…?” Alexander estimated, “EGB1 and Scarlett are adopted.”
SMG3 rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. SMG4 looked away, something like guilt written on his face.
“I’m going to kill him…” Mr. WPNZ said angrily, his eyes turning red, “how could he stoop that low…”
“So. For a plan. We need to find out where he is, first of all.” Meggy said, overriding the chaos that was the SMG4 castle.
“I can track Netalie!” Alexander exclaimed, raising his hand.
“Good. that’ll probably be where Mr. Puzzles is.” Meggy said confidently.
“Then do I get to rip his wires out?” Mr. WPNZ asked hopefully
“No.” Meggy replied.
“Maybe YOU of all people shouldn’t be in charge. Leggy is still a part of you.” SMG3 said skeptically.
“... maybe you’re right…” Meggy replied.
“Well then who, because DEFINITELY not me.” Alexander asked.
SMG4 walked to the front of the table, putting his hand on it.
“I will.” SMG4 said, “I’m the least tainted by his presence, and the most smart.”
“EXCUSE me?!” SMG3 shouted, “I am the smartest! Bozo!”
“Says Mr. 1% off.” SMG4 mocked
“It’s a good deal!” SMG3 shouted.
Alexander tuned out the fighting, like he usually did when SMG3 and SMG4 started bickering. He was too busy thinking about his kids, and if they were safe.
“Guys!” Karen shouted, “we have bigger issues!”
“You’re right.” SMG3 and SMG4 said simultaneously.
“So, after that, what do we do? Since we’re not killing him.” Mr. WPNZ asked disappointedly.
“Force feed him bad spaghetti?” Mario asked.
“I think we should just let the death cube have him, you’ve killed him before.” Alexander muttered.
“No. We're going to find a solution that isn’t the death cube.” Meggy said firmly.
“Ugh, fiiiiiiine.” Alexander groaned.
Alexander put his head on the table while everyone else argued over what to do with Mr. Puzzles. He didn’t much care, but a part of him really wanted Mr. Puzzles to escape, or survive somehow. He just wanted things to go back to normal.
He stood up, “I’m going to go track down Netalie, don’t kill each other while I’m gone.” Alexander said before walking to his room.
It felt empty without Netalie’s presence, it always did, but this time it felt even more suffocating. Alexander opened up his laptop and went to his tracker app he had put into Netalie just in case she got lost someday. He opened the app to see Netalie’s dot in an alley outside of an abandoned building.
He left his room, laptop in hand, tracking app still open.
“I found her!” Alexander exclaimed, “she’s in an alley at-”
Everyone crowded around his laptop, except for Mr. WPNZ, who was chained to a chair.
“What are you waiting for? Let’s go!” SMG4 said passionately.
“Alright!” Alexander shouted confidently.
SMG4, SMG3 Mr. WPNZ and Alexander went to find Netalie while the rest of the crew stayed behind to decide on what to do when they catch Mr. Puzzles (which was increasingly hard to do).
-new scene-
“So we just take a left here, and then go straight and-” Alexander said, navigating on his TV face.
They all heard the piercing sound of a baby crying, Alexander recognized the cry immediately.
“I bet that’s her!” SMG4 exclaimed
“Puzzles wouldn’t let her cry for this long. We’d hear him…” Alexander muttered, eyes widening, “NETALIE!!!”
Alexander immediately ran off, leaving SMG3, SMG4 and Mr. WPNZ in the dust.
They also started running to catch up to Alexander, when they found him in an alley on the left side of the road they were walking on, holding Netalie in his arms.
“...he’s not here” SMG3 stated, tilting his head.
“No. He’s not.” Alexander said, looking down and starting to laugh, “oh… oh that’s just a riot!!”
Alexander laughed so hard he had tears running down his cheeks, his face contorted into a twisted smile as he realized what they just walked in on.
“Alex…” SMG4 said, looking and Alexander and crouching down next to him, “It’s gonna be okay…”
“Okay? Pfft! This situation is everything but okay!” Alexander shouted, “the man I thought I could trust just a few days ago just left my child out in the open! Out to be kidnapped! As f***ing bait, no less!!”
“Alexander, we know how it feels, you know that-” Mr. WPNZ started to say.
“You?!” Alexander shouted, standing up and instinctively handing Netalie to SMG4, “You lost nothing other than your stupid pride! You know nothing about how I feel!”
“I lost more than you think today!” Mr. WPNZ argued, anger tugging on his frown.
Netalie started screaming and sobbing, evidently feeling the tension.
“Guys!” SMG4 said, getting between Mr. WPNZ and Alexander, “stop fighting, it’s pointless.”
“You’re right.” Alexander said, soothing Netalie, “we should be working together.”
Alexander looked down at Netalie, who was pretty much calm at this point.
“I could track the internet he’s connected to and track his location from that, since he’s a TV.” SMG3 said
“Why didn’t you lead with that?” SMG4 asked patronizingly
“Alexander had his plan and I didn’t want to interrupt.” SMG3 muttered, blushing.
Alexander chuckled, “you could use my face as a monitor.” he said, rolling up his sleeve to reveal a keyboard.
“That’s totally not plot-convenient.” Mr. WPNZ said sarcastically
SMG3 used the keyboard on Alexander’s arm and his face to open up who was connected to wifi routers around the city, noticing Mr. Puzzles come up on a diner that no one knew about on the edge of town.
They all got up and started to walk to the diner, Alexander cropping the router tracking to the upper left corner of his screen so he could see.
They found the diner pretty easily, and it was pretty run-down. Seemed like one of those places you’d expect to have an infestation of cockroaches. The one window on the side of the building was greasy and cracked, the walls were covered in dirt and rust and there was a board hanging off of the door, implying they didn’t have a lock.
“He’s here.” Alexander whispered.
“Why are you whispering, aren’t we just gonna bust in here and snap him in half?” Mr. WPNZ asked loudly.
Suddenly they heard a crash in the diner, sounding like someone stood up into a chandelier. Then the door swung open to reveal a frazzled Mr. Puzzles, still in his prison clothing.
“Oh! Alexander!” Mr. Puzzles said, noticing SMG4, SMG3, Mr. WPNZ and Netalie, “and… others! I ought to be off then-!”
Mr. Puzzles attempted to run away cartoonishly, but Mr. WPNZ grabbed him by the leg and held him by it before he could get far. Alexander took a deep breath before stepping forward.
“Mr. WPNZ, could you kindly put Mr. Puzzles down so I can speak to his face?” Alexander asked, a little too sweetly.
“Alright then, princess.” Mr. WPNZ replied, putting down Mr. Puzzles just forcefully enough for it to not be considered a misdemeanor.
“Alexander, I promise you, I am going to fix this whole situation and mend the bond between you and I and the rest of the crew-” Mr. Puzzles started dramatically, before being punched straight where his nose would be. His screen broke into thousands of pieces on the cold, hard concrete.
“Fix this? FIX this? What part of this situation seems even a little bit salvageable to you?! What, the part where you betrayed all of the only people that could ever care about the stinking, soggy bag of sliced boulders you are?!” Alexander shouted, “or the part where you left OUR daughter in an alley in the dangerous part of town to be kidnapped and sold to the highest bidder!”
Mr. Puzzles looked terrified, tearing up at the extreme lecture from his soon-to-be ex boyfriend.
“Well, I know my ways are a bit… complicated… but I promise you I have a plan.” Mr. Puzzles tried to explain.
“Such an amazing plan, leaving while everyone else does the dirty work, huh? Is that just your style or something?” Mr. WPNZ added.
“Please! I promise I will do better! I will do good!!” Mr. Puzzles pleaded
“Oh you promise? You pinky swear, huh? You promise just like you promised Meggy you’ve changed?!” Alexander shouted, “turn him off, we’re going back to the castle.”
SMG4 grabbed Mr. Puzzles upper knob and twisted it, turning his screen off.

Summary:
A little bit of fluff or hurt/comfort??? They go to the beach. Then the mall. TW: mentions of dead fish or something

Sorry if you came for pure angst and that story thing. I am just using this as a fanfiction mother load 😅
Chapter Text
Alexander had blindfolded Mr. Puzzles to bring him to a surprise date location, the beach. He framed it as a surprise since Mr. Puzzles would never agree normally.
“Come on! We’re almost there!” Alexander exclaimed, running easily past obstacles that the blind Mr. Puzzles crashed into.
“Where are we going exactly?” Mr. Puzzles asked, sounding mildly concerned.
Alexander didn’t respond, they had made it to the beach successfully.
“You can take that thing off now, we’re here.” Alexander said.
Mr. Puzzles cautiously removed the blindfold obstructing his vision, blinking a few times to adjust his vision to the bright sun.
“... the beach?! What the hell are you thinking, Alexander?!” Mr. Puzzles shouted, “I could get water in my circuits! Or worse… SAND in my circuits!”
“Come on, live a little!” Alexander shouted in reply, running into the water.
Mr. Puzzles stepped over meticulously as to not get any sand in his shoes. He looked at the water as if it was going to bite him.
“Come on!” Alexander said, lightly splashing water at Mr. Puzzles
Mr. Puzzles flinched back in horror at the water droplets falling onto him. He fell right into a pile of sand.
“You can’t be this afraid of water…” Alexander muttered
“I’d argue that you should be MORE afraid of water! You also have a TV head!” Mr. Puzzles argued.
“Well, people ‘die’ here all the time. I’d probably come right back!” Alexander laughed
“... what if you don’t..?” Mr. Puzzles asked seriously, looking away.
Alexander just shook his head and laid on his back in the water, a spark shooting out of his head.
“Alexander!” Mr. Puzzles exclaimed
“Ah… damn.” Alexander grunted, sitting up, “maybe I shouldn’t do that.”
“No! You shouldn’t!” Mr. Puzzles yelled, “Do you have no care for your own wellbeing?!”
“Ehh?” Alexander shrugged.
“What do you mean, ‘ehh’?! Your life is not only worth an ‘ehh’!!” Mr. Puzzles shouted.
Alexander picked up a handful of sand and chucked it into the water. Mr. Puzzles flinched once again at the splashing.
“First spiders, now water? You’re so childish!” Alexander laughed.
“I am literal technology! And spiders are creepy…” Mr. Puzzles replied defensively
“Mhm!” Alexander chuckled.
A few minutes later Alexander was swimming around and Mr. Puzzles sat on a perfectly placed pink towel under an umbrella. That was until Alexander got out of the water holding up something Mr. Puzzles couldn’t quite make out.
“What are you holding?” Mr. Puzzles asked, tilting his head.
“A fish.” Alexander replied.
“A what?!” Mr. Puzzles shrieked, “Why isn’t it moving!??”
“I think it might be dead, I can see it’s bones.” Alexander said matter-of-factly, as if stating the weather.
“I’m sorry, what-?!” Mr. Puzzles shouted.
Alexander threw a dead, unrecognizable fish on the sand in front of Mr. Puzzles’s towel. It’s abdomen was pulled open, but only it’s bones remained.
“That’s… disgusting…” Mr. Puzzles grimaced, looking up at Alexander “Why would you touch that?”
“It looked cool, I dunno.” Alexander replied, shrugging, “Wanna see if there are any cool bones in here?”
“NO!!” Mr. Puzzles screamed, “WHAT is going on with you today?! You aren’t acting like your usual self!!”
“I… I don’t know?” Alexander responded, looking away, “I’m sorry. You can go if you want…”
“But, Alexander…” Mr. Puzzles said, standing up and brushing himself off, “I don’t want to go. I want to be here, with you! But you’re acting weird!”
“I’m sorry…” Alexander said, looking down.
“Stop.” Mr. Puzzles said firmly
“What-?” Alexander asked in reply.
Mr. Puzzles looked at Alexander sternly.
“You don’t need to apologize. Just snap out of it! Stop being strange.” Mr. Puzzles said firmly, “Let’s go.”
Mr. Puzzles rolled up his towel and started moving to the exit.
“Where are we going, exactly?” Alexander asked.
“Somewhere!” Mr. Puzzles replied awkwardly and loudly.
They walked until they found themselves in a random mall halfway across town. Mr. Puzzles noticed a electronics store with TVs displaying videos of flowers and cooking to show their quality.
“I have an idea.” Mr. Puzzles smirked.
Mr. Puzzles grabbed Alexander by the wrist and pulled him into the electronics store, bodyjumping into the first TV he saw.
“What are you-!” Alexander started, but a flash of lightning transported him and Mr. Puzzles into a world with a giant pink flower covered in dewdrops.
Mr. Puzzles ran over to the core of the flower and jumped onto it, a puff of yellow pollen surrounding the blow. Alexander coughed and looked up to see Mr. Puzzles, fully yellow.
“What are you doing?!” Alexander choked, trying not to laugh.
They moved around from screen to screen, experience giant versions of flowers and other general shows. They laughed the whole time, Mr. Puzzles always finding a way to make the most basic of videos 5-star quality.
Chapter 6: Finding out about Netalie
Summary:
A few people in the SMG4 crew meet Alexanders child (gone wrong)
Chapter Text
It was October 20th, 2024. The day after the last video in the Puzzlevision arc was posted. Alexander, after spending all day trying to inconspicuously search for his secret boyfriends broken head, went back to his room (the guest room) at the SMG4 castle. He had to tell Netalie, his and Mr. Puzzles kid, that Mr. Puzzles was going on “Extended writers break” or some other lame excuse.
With his TV head hung low, Alexander opened the door to his closet, which he had turned into a make-shift baby room for Netalie.
“Hey there pixie.” Alexander said, trying his best to stay up-beat like he usually is.
“Papa!” Netalie raised her small arms in a motion signalling ‘uppies’
“Yeah! Papa’s here. And Papa has some not-so-nice news.” Alexander said neutrally.
“Aw?” Netalie tilted her head in innocent confusion.
“So, your old man is going to be on some… extended… artists leave in… um…” Alexander looked away briefly, “in Canada!”
“Papa goes away..?” Netalie asked.
“No, no. Not me.” Alexander replied, shaking his head.
Alexander got up, picking up Netalie from her armpits to sit her in the centre of his room. He typically didn’t do this, for fear of someone walking in, but he decided today was different.
“Other Papa goin’ away?” Netalie looked down sadly, pouting, as babies typically do.
“He’s going to come back, Nettie. I promise he will. He was just given this… opportunity… really last minute, so he left quickly!” Alexander lied.
“Papa leave with no goodbye?” Netalie pouted, looking on the verge of tears, “I hate Papa!”
Tears lined Netalie’s bottom eyelids, and the look in her eyes made it evident she was going to throw a tantrum.
Alexander panicked, which was added to by the fact that he noticed the sound of footsteps outside. He tried to pick up Netalie again, but she smacked his hand away from her.
“Hey, pixie, it’s alright.” Alexander said, covering the sheer panic in his voice
Alexander’s eyes darted around the room, trying to think of what to do, when suddenly he remembered the time that Mr. Puzzles soothed Netalie near-instantly with a game of peek-a-boo.
“Hey, pixie, look at me!” Alexander said, covering his screen with his hands, “Peek-a-boo!”
Netalie stared at Alexander, she had stopped crying from the sheer amazement. Alexander continued.
“Peek-a-boo!” Alexander coo’d, not noticing the footsteps getting closer and closer to his door.
Netalie was giggling, which in turn made Alexander laugh. The door swung open, but Alexander didn’t notice.
“Peek-a-boo!” Alexander continued, his back turned to the door.
Netalie gasped, standing up and toddling to the left to get a better look at the door. Her little eyes turned into stars.
“Whatcha lookin’ at Nettie?” Alexander said, turning around, “Is Papa Puzzles back from Canada?"
Alexander’s eyes widened as he stared at SMG3 standing in the doorway. He went to grab Netalie, but she had already made it halfway across the room.
“Oh! Uh… SMG3…!” Alexander stuttered, attempting to crawl over to Netalie.
“Papa Puzzles?” SMG3 repeated, a look of undiluted horror on his face.
“Really it’s not- I can explain, I swear!” Alexander sputtered shrilly.
“H-have you been brainwashed this whole time?!” SMG3 shouted accusingly.
“I… I um-!” Alexander stuttered, life flashing before his eyes, “I don’t know!!”
SMG3 stared at Alexander in utter disbelief. Alexander was able to scoop up Netalie, who was still babbling and giggling, unaware of the drama filling the room.
“That means he can manipulate things outside of his head… that’s… that’s terrifying.” SMG3 muttered.
Alexander put Netalie back into her little play area and stood up, basically towering over SMG3.
“So, yeah! Anyways, it’s time for you to leave!” Alexander attempted to push SMG3 out of his room, but ended up tripping and landing outside with SMG3.
“No! I’m not leaving until you’re normal again!” SMG3 shouted, “and what do you mean by Canada?! What is Mr. Puzzles planning?!”
“P-please don’t shout in the halls! Others will-” Alexander started desperately.
But Meggy had already walked over, confused over the commotion.
“What’s going on?” Meggy asked, looking at Alexander, who was hopelessly trying to muffle SMG3 with his hands.
“He’s been brainwashed by Mr. Puzzles! He must have been… manipulated by him somehow!!” SMG3 shouted once free of Alexander’s pathetic grasp.
Meggy immediately got flashbacks to when Mr. Puzzles brainwashed the SMG4 crew into being his TV minions. She stared at Alexander distrustfully.
“Do you think it’s left-over code from when they swapped bodies?” Meggy started
“Wait… you might be onto something Meggy…” SMG3 said, hand over his mouth in a ‘thinking’ motion.
Alexander was hyperventilating, tears filling his eyes when he noticed SMG4, his best friend in the castle approaching with a confused look on his face. He immediately got up and ran to SMG4, falling to his knees again once he got close.
“SMG4!! They’re..- I’m not!- I’m not evil I swear!!!” Alexander shrieked.
“...what?” SMG4 asked genuinely, looking up at Meggy and SMG3.
“Alexander has been brainwashed by Mr. Puzzles and they have a-!” SMG3 started, but Alexander interrupted him.
“DON’T YOU BRING NETTIE INTO THIS!!!” Alexander sobbed into the floor at SMG4’s feet.
“Nettie?” Meggie asked, looking between SMG3 and Alexander.
“What the HELL is going on?!” SMG4 shouted.
“I don’t know!” Meggy shouted back.
SMG3’s hand moved to Alexander’s doorknob. Alexander panicked and screamed an incoherent half-thought at SMG3. He looked at SMG4, who looked confused, then Meggy, who looked upset. His breaths were shallow and disorienting and he could feel tears in his nonexistent eyes.
“MR. PUZZLES IS MY BOYFRIEND!!!” Alexander blurted out loudly, making everyone in the room stare at him.
“Mr. Puzzles is… WHAT?!” Meggy shouted, lunging at Alexander.
SMG4 backed away from him and SMG3 looked at him with a terrified expression.
“I bet you ARE brainwashed! Because who in their right mind would date such a MONSTER!!?” Meggy shouted, grabbing Alexander by his head and pulling him up to her level.
“I… don’t know?” Alexander replied in a panic.
Meggy let go of Alexander’s head and stormed off.
“Wait, so what’s going on?” SMG4 asked, “Who’s Nettie?”
“His kid.” SMG3 said, “that he’s been hiding from us.”
“You have a kid?!” SMG4 asked Alexander.
“Yeah, he does! With Mr. Puzzles… somehow.” SMG3 responded.
Alexander realized he was shaking from the confrontation. He took a deep breath.
“I knew we shouldn’t have trusted him, ‘possesed by Mr. Puzzles’, a pathetic lie I bet!” SMG3 spat.
“It wasn’t!” Alexander yelled.
“How could we know that?” SMG3 shouted.
"Do you think I would lie to you? For months?! I've been here, you saw what happened in Puzzlevision!!" Alexander shouted back
That shut up SMG3 real fast
