Guide to Parenting 101: With the Admins

Summary:

Builderman, Erik and Shedletsky had only meant to create robotic accounts for testing of programming and to check if each system worked properly, after that, they planned on trashing the robots and create new ones that can adapt to newer systems.

What they hadn't expected was taking care of three sentient robotic children.

or in other words

The Admins suffer because they do not know anything about little robotic kids

Notes:

this idea has been rotting in my head

and jane and john (and the admins) arent even my favourite forsaken characters

Chapter Text

The Admins were doing their job... As per usual at the HQ, they had ran a few tests on multiple systems in the makings to see if it was all good to go; and it was! The last step they had to do was to run the test accounts Builderman and Telamon had worked on a while ago. They stated that they would use the test accounts to see if the programs and systems were all good to go to be set to public.

“Hey Tela, have yer' launched the test accounts into the games yet? We need these systems to release by the end of the week.”

Builderman asked, turning around to face Telamon instead of the computer with systems that most definitely smelt burnt, raising an eyebrow as Telamon was seemingly slacking... ’Typical, it's whatever.’ Builder man quietly thought whilst sipping on his coffee in a plain white mug.

“Ya talking to me? I think Erik finished up polishing the programming on Jane. I finished up with 1x1x1x1 few hours ago. Dunno where the program for John Does went.”

Telamon replied, fingers fidgeting with a gold necklace he had picked up from Sorcus'es desk, enjoying the noises clanking and clinking noises the necklace kept making, smirking in amusement.

“Sorcus will kill yeh' if yer' keep playing with his necklace... Ye sure yer' haven't seen John Doe?”

Builderman asked once more to make sure as the god of the swords once more shook his head, the warning of Sorcus coming to kill him if he kept playing with the necklace completely flying over his head. They all needed some kind of entertainment in the headquarters of course... Doesn't mean you can touch others stuff, but I don't think Telamon cared.

Builderman sighed, gulping the last liquids of coffee in the mug, placing the empty mug on the desk before standing up, stretching his hands a bit before making his way to Doombringers cubicle, the nice gray carpet of the office headquarters softening Buildermans steps as he made his way, eventually reaching the bucket mans cubicle, seemingly focused on programming one of the systems.

“Doom have yer—"

“Johns finished, Erik handed Johns program to Clockwork so he could polish up the rough patches. Pretty sure Clockwork already transferred the Programs into your computer? Since you're the holder of John after all.”

Doombringer cut off Builderman before he had the chance to speak, Builderman caught a bit off guard but giving a quick nod and thanks to Doombringer, now speed walking his way back to his personal cubicle to check the files on the computer.

The feeling was a bit repetitive as Builderman scrolled through the multiple files on his computer.

doomspirebrikbatel.pdf... No. Isn't that supposed to be in Doombringers computer?

pumpkinguyandbomboom.png... What even is that?

spectre.mp3.. Huh.

JohnDoe.codex. Yup! That's it.

Builderman sighed in relief, checking the code on John Doe to see if it was ready to be programmed into the robot itself, as Builderman fixed up the mistakes in John Does code, the only noises were the clicking on the computer and the clinking of the necklace Telamon was still playing with.

And just before the deadline of the test accounts, Builderman, Telamon and Erik had finished programming the written codes into their respective robotic bodies, booting up Jane Doe first; the one in Erik's care as the robotic girls eyes had fluttered open, her magenta hair slightly moving, following with the booting of Johns and 1x1's booting, Builderman almost cried, they've been working on these robotic test accounts for months by now and seeing them finished makes him feel like the father to John since he was the one he had worked on. Not that he actually wanted to be a Father of a robot! That sounded silly.

“Ha.. llo?”

Jane spoke first, her voice a tad bit robotic, but that's fine. Erik lightly patted her metallic head, a soft padding noise was made from the action. Telamon's face lightly distorted in playful disgust and amusement whilst looking at his creation, 1x1x1x1.

“1x is unbelievably ugly, but that's fine... I think.”

Telamon commented as Erik immediately shot a disapproving look, 1x looked a bit confused, he was still a baby... Child? After all.

“ Yer' know, when we were coding these little fellas I thought they'd have the mentality of a robotic adult. Not... Someone who acts like a baby. Yer' guys sure there wasn't a mistake in the code?”

Builderman asked, a bit confused whilst patting Johns head whom was lightly hugging his leg.

“All I remember is that Sorcus made their robotic bodies smaller so it was easier to move across but they were still supposed to have an adult mentality.”

Erik responded whilst holding Jane like how you would hold a baby normally, the three having their respective programmed test accounts.

“Oh. I think Reese did something to the coding. I thought it was kinda funny.”

Telamon chuckled whilst holding 1x as if they were a kitten found on the side of the street, 1x still visibly... Confused, Builderman and Eriks face quickly distorted into mere fear as Erik immediately asked.

“What did she do?”

“Oh, nah, we were both on it. Thought it'd be funny if they acted like actual human babies who grow into adults as time passes on.”

Telamon replied as Builderman almost tackled the winged one, Erik immediately stopping the shorter from further attacking Telamon. After a bit, they calmed down but then panic arose once more seeing Jane, John and 1x playing together like children.

How are we going to take care of these kids?

The three had thought in unison, remembering the time they had first taken Luke into the HQ when he was just a tree sapling, found in the greenery at the front of the HQ, Doombringer was plucking saplings that looked weird back then and ended up plucking a baby with a sapping on his head. Luke was a nightmare to take care of considering he was a baby... With a mentality of an adult workaholic because he knew how to program games the next day after he was just picked up.

“Telamon, I swear on my life I'll send yeh' to the banlands one day.”

Builderman mumbled with absolute tireness, hands on his own face as Telamon giggled, Erik sighing in return.

“Hey. The more chaos the more fun.”

Telamon replied, a mischievous and devious grin forming on his face as Builderman had an exasperated look, probably on the verge of insanity as Erik lightly put his hand on Buildermans back.

“Its not all so bad, we can finally get our parenting skills up.”

Erik tried to lighten up Buildermans mood, it worked by only a little, though Builderman appreciated the positive comfort from Erik.

The following were definitely going to be hectic, one way or another.

Chapter Text

...It had been the first 2 weeks of taking care of the three, all the admins took turns on taking care of the trio during an organized schedule. Now... Let's guess who's at the absolute bottom of taking care of the children!

Telamon.

...Clockwork is a very close second.

But fortunately enough, the children have behaved well! They all were unique in their own ways yet always listened to commands, though 1x a tad bit stubborn... Probably an attitude passed down by Telamon... Out of the three, Jane was the most outstanding in the tasks that have been given to them. Of course it was easy tasks, they were still in mental mindsets of what a child would think. Due to Jane being extroverted, it's what made her perform so well. Not that John and 1x perform well too, they do! They're just not as extroverted as Jane is.

John for the most part has been learning to get used to understanding social cues, and to overcome shyness a bit. He was still shy to the admins except Builderman, but nevertheless, he performed well and did a great job at what tasks were assigned to him.

And for 1x1, Telamon's horrendous behaviour for performing tasks have been rubbing off on the child which is why Telamon has been off duty for taking care of 1x1. Telamon was well... Way too harsh. It's too much for a child to understand, so Erik decided to take 1x1 under his wing for a bit, resulting in 1x1 getting a tad bit closer to Jane.

It was a relief to Erik and Builderman that the other admins were taking the whole robotic children thing well! And additionally, the trio of children even got along with eachother basing off of how they interacted with eachother during Trio Tasks and or during Break Time and Nap Time... Nap Time was just them charging up for tomorrow's activities. Despite that they still moved whilst charging, it was honestly fascinating to see Test Robots act like actual children.

Builderman sighed at the train that ran in his mind full of thoughts of the now founded children of the HQ, currently... Cooking up a Gas Filled Ink Pancake for the kids. Not made for humans, obviously. It's for the robotic kids. They didn't find drinking straight from the gas tank appetizing so Builderman had to find a way to make them eat the needed nutrients for a robot... This will work. 100%.

Whilst Builderman was cooking up the food for the Robotic Kids, Reese was playing with the kids on the empty area of the main HQ, Jane was being carried by John on his shoulders, and 1x1 was on Janes shoulders, dangerous, yes, but Reese made sure the three didn't fall and scratch themselves, John somehow managing to move whilst the two were stacked on top of him, Jane giggling happily while 1x1 had a soft smile on their face, happily chuckling along.

Reese carefully set 1x1 and Jane down, sitting them onto the soft carpet floor as John sat down next to 1x1, Janes head immediately turning to look at the commotion of Doombringer chasing Taph, having a confused expression as Reese immediately turned Janes head back.

“Dont mind them. This is a usual afternoon for us.”

Reese explained, rubbing it off as nothing before turning to go yell at the two about setting a bad example for the children or whatever, Jane whistled before turning to John and 1x1 with a look full of mischief.

“Lets go mess with the elevator buttons!”

Jane suggested, John looked curious, 1x1 looked skeptical.

“Wont they get mad at us?”

1x1 asked, looking a bit worried as Jane immediately began standing up, dusting off the speckles of dirt her skirt had accumulated.

“They won't get mad at us if we played it sneaky!”

“I feel like your sentence is wrong.”

1x1 pointed out, raising an eyebrow as Jane rubbed it off, lightly smacking 1x1s forehead.

“Pshh.. Who cares about sentences and shmentences? What matters is we can go play in the elevator while Ms. Reese is still distracted!”

Jane immediately said, pulling 1x1 and John up, dragging them to the elevators of the HQ, the trios socks making no sound on the tiles of the place, one by one going into the luxurious and large elevator. Well, it was certainly larger than normal elevators.

As Reese finished scolding Taph and Doombringer, she immediately panicked seeing the three kids somehow managed to disappear in what? 5 minutes? 3 minutes? Doesn't matter, how do they manage to immediately run off whenever Reese turns around for a few seconds!?

Hearing the commotion from Reese letting out a small yell, Builderman went to check on the other.

“What are yer' yellin' about?”

Builderman asked from the kitchen, not bothering to look over to the problem Reese had.

“ERr.... Nothing! Nothing! Just a small spider, nothing I can't handle of course!”

Reese replied whilst dashing to multiple places on where the trio could be, the soul inside her body had already evaporated realizing the trio of children were nowhere in the floor they were on, immediately rushing to check the emergency exit stairs and rushing to the elevator, smashing the buttons to hurry up and get to the floor she was on.

Meanwhile...

“Lets go to the top floor? Or should we go to the lobby? What about the basement?”

Jane kept suggesting whilst clicking random buttons in the elevator, 1x1 unfortunately falling for the propaganda and going along with what Jane said. Now John was the concerned one.

“Uhm... I don't.. Think this is a good idea anymore...”

John tried to stop the two but failed to do so, 1x1 giving a blank look whilst Jane was more fascinated with the glow of each button when pressed.

“Meh. This is better than the plain old cubicles. I don't care anymore.”

1x1 simply stated, continuously pressing the Lobby button as John struggled to reason with the other two.

“You're acting just like Mr. Telamon, 1x... And Jane! I thought Mr. Cassel taught you not to use things you don't know the purpose for!”

John replied, holding both 1x1 and Janes hands, trying to pull them away from the buttons with no luck.

“Meh. Mr. Telamon is a bad example for me anyways.”

“Papa Erik said I'm free to have fun!”

Jane and 1x1 replied in unison, at this point the elevator shaft was delaying and probably having a seizure from the amount of buttons being pressed. Obviously the machinery can't handle being overused... In the wrong way.

“Come on! Stop it!”

John grabbed the back of both Jane and 1x1s knitted sweaters, pulling them back as the three tumbled downwards, Jane letting out a small oof sound, John yelping, and 1x1 grunting, the three felt the elevator shaft suddenly stopping, Jane letting out a small uh oh and John immediately panicking, scrambling to stand up and clicking the floor to where they originally were to see it wasn't working.

“We're stuck! Where's the emergency button!? I told you two not to mess with the buttons!”

John panicked, shaking Jane and 1x1 together as they looked completely fine with it as if they weren't stuck in the elevator shaft and could probably die.

“Urgh, John—John! Shut up for one second! We'll be fine! Just press the emergency button, geez.”

1x1 groaned, stopping the other from shaking them both, pointing to the multiple buttons.

“Which ones the emergency button?”

Jane innocently asked.

...

..

.

“I HAATEE YOOOU TWWOOO!!!!!!”

John yelled with tears probably forming in his robotic eyes. How would that even work? Ink? Gas? Whatever.

.

.

.

.

.

‘Shit, shit shit shit shit SHIT.’ Reese thought in her head, desperately clicking the button of the elevator. ‘Is the elevator stuck!? Oh lord Telamon, HELP ME! Does that mean the kids messed with the buttons!? DO THEY EVEN KNOW WHAT BUTTON WAS THE EMERGENCY ONE!?’ Reese was about to kill herself mentally, emotionally, physically, every single word in the book!

“Reese, Dude you look mentally ill.”

Clockwork spoke with concern, raising an eyebrow as he approached the kneeling unicorn hybrid who seemed to be leaning on the elevator doors as if she was defeated in a video game battle.

“The kids are stuck in the elevator.”

Reese said, lightly knocking on the door of the elevator as if every single hope or affection had completely seeped out of her.

“Oh... Well, your problem not mine!”

Clockwork immediately said, turning to run off but before he could Reese had grabbed his hand.

“Don't you fucking DARE leave me here. You've came to butt in, so now you need to suffer WITH ME.”

Reese said, gripping her whole life onto Clockworks hand tightly, she could probably break the bones in his hands if she was ordered to.

Clockwork gulped, this was going to be a long day. No?

study for exams ❌
roblox admin fanfiction🙏🙏✅✅✅

my legs hurt so bad; had to cosplay for my schools intramurals

+ each chapter will be focused on a different admin taking care of the kids : )

" Why doesn't 1x have the same uniform as Jane & John? " Telamon chose the colours for 1x (John & Jane were chosen by both Erik & Builderman.), meaning 1x has the same uniform, just different colours. The knit sweater is dark green, the undershirt is black with a light green bow tie, black pants and normal school shoes if you were wondering.

Also currently deciding whether just JaneJohn Or 1x2Doe. (1x × Jane × John). You guys can decide 🤗

Notes:

plz gimme tips and more info on each character! All the characterization is based on my interpretation.

might update in 10 million years (unless I get motivation from comments & kudos, much appreciated!! : D )
