“It’s embarrassing” Gavi muttered angrily, letting Robert pull up his own spare pair of sweatpants over the omega’s hips. Robert, the fucker, smirked chuckling lightly as he let Gavi sit down on the locker room bench again, “It’s not” he murmured, ignoring the annoyed disbelieving huff from the other. “You are not the one leaking slick” he muttered angrily and Robert had to stifle another laugh as the omega flailed his leg out, making all of the extra material of the sweatpants flop around his foot. “They are so big” he whined grumpily, pouting heavily as he glared at Robert from under his lashes. “Then fold them up” Robert commented easily, Gavi ignored him, slumping back against the wall “And they are grey it’s gonna be visible in a second”
Robert sighed, stopping himself in packing his own and Gavi’s things into his bag to look at the omega who looked oh so miserable and oh so eager to complain and pout. “Then squeeze it in” he deadpanned and Gavi blinked, making Robert sigh with affection “No, I’m sorry darling” he muttered softly as he could see the other’s big brown eyes fill up with tears. “You know I can’t” he said moodily and the alpha smiled with love “I know you can’t, and it’s completely natural, no one will think it’s embarrassing”
“I do” the omega muttered, standing up and helping the alpha pack his things, well one thing before he let himself drop down onto the bench again with a whine. “Please hurry up” he grumpily muttered and Robert just hummed. continuing with his task.
“How are you Pablito?” Fermín hummed as he slumped down next to Gavi who just grumbled in response, cuddling close to the other omega. “What was that?” he asked, raising an eyebrow at Robert who just smiled softly “He is in pain and he leaked through his pants and you know Gavi, so now he is moody and whiny”
“Aw poor baby” Fermín teased but he just chuckled as Gavi grumpily cuddled closer “You should hurry up though” Fermín commented at Robert who hummed “I know, we are ready just need to notice someone that we will probably be out for the rest of the week”
“Yeah, you go I’ll stay with him” Fermín smiled and Robert nodded thankfully, kissing his omega’s temple that was not buried in Fermín’s shirt.
“What do we have here then?” Rapha teased as the rest of the team filtered in and Gavi whined, burying deeper into his friend’s side. “Don’t tease him, he is in his Gavi mood” Fermín smiled and Rapha giggled as Gavi glared at him with one eye and the alpha laughed softly.
Gavi had been nervous when his first heat rolled around, scared that the alpha’s of the team would be pushy, or even come onto him like others had done in the past. He could still remember the feeling of that rival player pressing up against him during his first professional game, blaming the smell of lingering heat on him when Gavi yelled and flipped out.
But his team's alphas were nothing like that, they treated him just as usual, no problems and keeping themself under control, not even seemingly affected by Gavi’s slick covered pants or his increasingly sweet scent and he was endlessly thankful for it. They knew he disliked it, felt embarrassed by it and despite their love to push and tease him they knew when not to as well.
When Robert came back Gavi was cuddled up in between Fermín and Pedri, his face in the young beta’s neck. Robert melted on the inside, he knew Pedri’s neutral scent calmed him down when he was stressed or when it was too much and Pedri had no problem keeping him close. Chatting with Ferran on the other wall as he ran his fingers through Gavi’s short hair at the nape of his neck.
“I see you are not exactly suffering without me, getting spoiled as always” Robert hummed and Gavi smiled through a pout as he peeked out from Pedri. “You ready to get home?” the alpha asked and Gavi nodded, untangling from both of his friends and immediately melting into his alpha’s side. “Take care Gavi” Pedri smiled and Fermín leveled Robert with a look he knew very well by now, he had been on the receiving end of it since he started dating the younger omega. Robert smiled, tilted his head at the omega who held his stare easily. They were both so adorable the two omegas of the team, so fierce and protective of each other but still so small and cutesy that the effect kinda got lost in the midst of big doe eyes and pouty lips. “I will take care of him don’t worry” Robert murmured and Fermín narrowed his eyes but his little smile slipped through anyway and he nodded, kissing the omega on the cheek as he hugged him goodbye.

“Robert you are being a jerk” Gavi whined kicking out his feet as the alpha kept on plucking in the fridge and completely, in Gavi’s opinion, ignoring him. “I am not darling I am just preparing some food”
“Fuck the food” Gavi grumbled and Robert laughed softly “Hey, drop the attitude. We need to have some food prepped because I know you very well kochanie and you won’t let me leave to cook for the coming days”
“But I need you” Gavi pouted only to be waved off “You can wait for another hour”
“Robert” Gavi whined, squirming around in the bar chair Robert had placed him in. “Gavi let me gather some things and then I will deal with you” Robert sighed, slightly agitated and a little stressed as he slammed a container down on the bench. When Gavi didn’t answer he turned his head only to see Gavi’s eyes brim with tears and he muttered himself, putting down what he had in his hands and wrapping his arms around the omega who fought him off weakly. “I’m sorry, you know I love to take care of you. I just need to prepare some snacks for us. I am done in a second, just let me grab the bottles of drinks and the snacks I've gathered and get them to the bedroom. Don’t you want to prepare a nest?”
Gavi didn’t answer with words but he followed him up the stairs and got started on his nest. Robert wrapped his arms around him just as he placed the bag of his teammates' things on the bed and Gavi murmured “Get lost, I can take care of myself” he grumbled and Robert closed his eyes and smiled warmly against the omega’s neck. Gavi was everything he loved wrapped up in a little hurricane of a person and when he was in pre heat he was the moodiest on earth but Robert understood and he didn’t care. He understood that this was the only time Gavi let his other emotions out, that his hormones ran high and confusing and that was nothing weird, he wasn’t ridiculous like he called himself he just showed how he felt. He was always showing how he felt through anger and aggression but when in pre heat the emotions just came more usually with tears. Robert didn’t mind it even if it meant he had to be gentle and understanding, he always was.
“Gavi I love you and everything about you and you know I love taking care of you, so please don’t deprive me of that now hm? I was mean and I am sorry”
“Fine” Gavi muttered as he arranged the last, one of Rapha’s shirts at the outside of the nest. pulling Robert atop of him, shrugging out of the sweatpants and spreading his legs wide. Robert growled, it was an instinctive sound at watching the omega show himself so easily. “Want your tongue, please alpha” the boy smiled, throwing his head back and just waiting to get what he wanted and who was Robert to deny his omega who laid so prettily spread for him.
He didn’t say anything, just got comfortable on the bed, trying not to destroy the nest as he laid on his stomach, lacing his arms around his thighs and holding him open. He hummed, leaving kisses up his thigh, basking in the way he squirmed and whined. Gavi was never the patient one, always eager to just get on with it, whatever it was. And when Robert teased him he always threw a fit.
When his tongue finally licked over him Gavi whined, trying to squirm and buck up against his face but Robert knew his omega too well by now and his hands kept him down on the mattress, forcing him still. “Taste so good baby” he murmured, lapping up the slick like it was water. He lapped and sucked and made the omega sob as he came on the alpha’s tongue, going limp as he’d rode out his high.
“Good boy” Robert murmured, kissing up his body and letting him snuggle close. “I love you” Gavi whispered and Robert smiled “I love you Pablo” he murmured and he could see in his eyes that he was already slipping into that heatfilled headspace. “Sleep, I will take care of you, yeah?”
“I will go into heat” the omega murmured and he nodded “Yeah you will, nothing has changed? Something new you want to add to the list?”
Gavi groaned “Please Robert not the fucking list” he whined and the alpha chuckled “The list is good”
Gavi deadpanned him with a glare “The list is boring” “It’s important” he concluded and Gavi grinned “You are so adult”
“So adult?” he chuckled and Gavi smiled “Yeah, so mature and correct” Robert rolled his eyes “I’m taking responsibility since you are a literal child when it comes to things like this” he murmured and Gavi laughed “Fine but I have nothing new to the list” he giggled and Robert kissed his nose, smiling affectionately. “Sleep now” he murmured and Gavi sighed in contentment and cozied down in Robert’s arms. It took a total of two minutes before the alpha could feel him go limp with sleep, his lips parted against Robert’s shoulder. He smiled as he felt the boy's hot breath against his skin, his long lashes fluttering against pink heatstricken cheeks.
He combed a lock from the boy's eyes before he let himself fall into sleep, knowing he would wake up in a couple of hours with a needy omega at his hands.
