I want you to be safe

Summary:

Mafioso really likes Elliot: he’s kind, helpful and flexible. But he always tried his best to not let him find out that he’s from the mafia, yet one particular night, it was the case. He just wanted the pizza guy to be safe

Elliot drove his motorcycle through the dark streets of Robloxia after closing his pizzeria for the night, unfortunately he wouldn’t make it to his house just in time since the motorcycle almost ran out of fuel.

I should have a jerry can somewhere in my bag, he thought to himself. He hopped off and reached his hand to the bag that is hung on the box where he stored the pizza boxes in. he filled up the motorcycle with fuel, but little did he know that he was in the rough side of the town.

Two men jumped out of the balcony and landed on a trash can without injury, one is wearing an ushanka and wielding a crowbar while the other wears a military cap with headphones and wielding a plank with a singular nail. The two charged at him and tackled him on the ground, both yelling “Elliot!!” in unison. But it was not for malicious intent, but rather an over the top greeting. Elliot froze in fear and realized that the two were Soldier and Contractee.

“Jean! Alessio! You’ve got the wrong man!”

Mafioso stood behind them. Contractee and Soldier immediately letted go of the pizza guy and stood behind him like two baby rabbits behind their momma.

“I’m really sorry. My boys can be quite reckless.” He apologized to Elliot. He was still terrified of the recent ‘attack’ and was shaking, Mafioso looked back at the two men behind him and told them in an upset tone that they had almost scared him to death.

“Sorry boss.””Sorry zio Don.” Soldier and Contractee said with their heads down.

“It’s alright, boys. I knew you two have great intentions. But next time, be more careful.”

Mafioso gestured them to go back to doing their business and it was just him and the pizza guy, he looked ashamed and embarrassed from what just happened.

“I’m really sorry, Elliot.” Mafioso apologized again, he wanted to hold his hands and tell him that everything will be alright, but he took it back when Elliot flinched.

“I- don’t tell me you’re from the.. the..” Elliot paused and started crying. Mafioso winced and couldn’t handle it when someone cries, but deep down he knew that he needed comfort. He kneeled down and told him softly that he’s safe now and gently hugged him, Elliot returned the hug and cried even harder. He could feel the warmth of his body and it felt like he’s hugging a teddy bear. Mafioso wiped the tears off of his face and gave him a kiss on the forehead.

“Look, look. You don’t have to be afraid, I’m not gonna hurt you. Okay? You’re safe with me.” He reassured him, his voice soft and caring. He gently caressed his hair to soothe him. Elliot was still shaking and crying, yet his words and gestures were enough to make him feel better. His heart pounced as he calmed down. He looked at him with bloodshot eyes when he asked him why he’s so gentle with him.

“Just make sure you return back home safe, tesoro. Okay?” Mafioso reassured him. Elliot nodded and letted go off him, but not before the older man softly kissed him on the palm of his left hand and told him that if he needed anything, he’ll be there in no time. The pizza guy hopped back on his motor and drove back home. Mafioso watched him and sighed, he felt so bad for scaring him. But now he knew that Elliot would be coming to him if something bad happened.
