Felix watches as Lu Guang picks Cheng Xiaoshi up, arms wrapped around his thighs, just for the two of them to immediately fall onto the grass.
He runs towards them, worried they might have hurt themselves, but their surprised expressions turn into smiles a moment later.
Felix stops his movement, his feet suddenly glued to the ground as he watches them. Cheng Xiaoshi is laughing, picking out a couple of leaves from his hair while Lu Guang gazes at him with the fondest expression Felix thinks is humanly possible.
Felix has never seen anyone more in love than these two.
They've never said it out loud, at least not in front of him, but they don't have to; it's the small gestures, the little touches, the way they talk to and look at each other.
As he watches Cheng Xiaoshi pluck a leaf from Lu Guang's hair, his own head still full of them, a feeling bubbles up inside his chest, something he isn't quite used to.
He recognizes it as jealousy although he can't tell if he wants to insert himself in between them, wants them to look at him the way they look at each other or if一
He shakes his head.
He can't imagine Vein looking at him like that, doesn't want to because that's not him, it’s not them.
Liu Xiao had once said that whatever Vein and Felix had going on was fucked up and although he hadn't agreed at that time一still doesn't一he can maybe see where he's coming from.
He likes what they have, though, without labels or anything but as he watches these two look into each other's eyes like they are the only thing that matters, he thinks that maybe he yearns for something else, something more.
