Chapter Text
Uzi Doorman blinked her optics in confusion. She had just been in her room in the bunker when there was a sudden flash. Now the drone was in some weird room, and she wasn't the only one.
"Ugh, why do I feel like you had something to do with this, freak?" Lizzy asked.
"Bite me! I have nothing to do with this!" She snapped at the blonde.
Khan walked up. "Now now, I'm sure we can figure out what's happening without getting aggressive. Uzi, are you sure you didn't do anything?" He asked.
"How would I even have done that?! And why would I stick myself myself in a room with them?" She asked angrily, gesturing to Lizzy and Doll.
Her dad hummed like he didn't quite believe her, of course he didn't, but moved on. "Well we should figure out a way out of here anyway. There has to be a door here somewhere." He said.
The emo rolled her optics. Typical.
"I believe you Zi." Another drone said as he walked up to her. She looked at Thad, the jock smiling at her.
"Whatever." She said. She wouldn't say she appreciated that.
Then there was another flash, startling the drones. Then there was an ominous chuckle.
"Well well well, what do we have here?" A female voice said.
Uzi's eyelights hollowed, and she wasn't the only one. They stared at the trio of Murder Drones in horror.
"I don't know what you did to bring us here, but you just made filling out quota all the easier." The one with pigtails said.
Fuck! She didn't even have time to focus on the fact they could speak as the one with the bob cut turned it's hands into swords and flew at them. Only to hit what looked like solid air. The stupid X turning into regular eyes showing confusion.
"V, are you ok?" The tallest one asked.
V didn't answer, swinging the blade again, only to be met with the same result.
"Stop messing around and get on with it!" Ponytails snapped.
"Can't you see I'm trying!" V yelled back.
The Worker Drones watched this apprehensively. "Does........anyone know what's going on?" Thad asked.
His question was answered when a wall opened, revealing it was a door much to Khan's delight. In walked what looked like a regular worker drone at first glance, but it was obvious he was not. His black hoodie, dark hair and red optics were normal, but the murder drone tail and nanite acid stinger filled with black acid were cause for concern. But other than that, his vibe was just off somehow.
"Greetings drones. Welcome to what will surely be a fun experience. For me at least." He said.
["Who are you? Did you do this?"] Doll asked.
"Yes indeed my Russian speaking friend. I am Entropy, and I brought you all here for a few reasons, but the main one is for my own entertainment." He told them.
"Not gonna happen." V growled.
The DD turned her arm into a gun and fired at him. Entropy moved around the bullets casually, and in the next instance he was in her face, hitting her and sending her flying back.
"V!" N exclaimed. He flew to the new drone, claws at the ready. He wasn't expecting Entropy to meet them with his own and with a wide smirk smack him aside with his tail.
"Of course he was useless." J said, ready to activate her EMP, the pulse firing off but strangely enough not effecting the worker drones behind the wall of air. And more concerning, not effecting Entropy at all.
"Cute. My turn." The "drone" said, tail splitting into three somehow and wrapping around the DDs, stinger aimed at their cores. "Ready to play nice? Because believe me, your saliva won't neutralize this acid."
The workers couldn't believe this. The apex predators of Copper 9 were just toyed with.
They squirmed against the surprisingly strong appendages. "Um, Entropy, I think we're ready to talk." N said nervously.
"What are you waiting for?!" Uzi suddenly yelled. "Take them down!"
The "drone" chuckled. "Unfortunately Doorman, that won't be happening. This display was a one off, as long as they play nice. And you will play nice, right?" He asked the drones.
N nodded, V glared but grunted reluctantly, and J scoffed but but didn't argue.
Doll glared. If he wouldn't finish those monsters, then she would. She tried to activate her Solver, only to find it failed.
[What?"] She asked herself.
She received a message on her visor. "You'll find that the Solver has no place here." It said. She noticed Entropy looking right at her, threat clear in his optics.
Once everything was settled, Entropy finally told them why they were there.
"You lot are here to react. To your future specifically." He said.
"What? No way? That's impossible." J denied.
"Believe me, Serial Designation J, impossible means nothing to me. If it wasn't obvious, I'm far from a normal drone." He chuckled.
"But do they have to be here?" Uzi asked.
"Wanna go, toaster?" V said.
"Not happening. There will be no physical harm while here. Emotional is both fair game and expected." Entropy told them, before snapping his fingers, a screen popping up with a snack table. "Refreshments are over there if you want some. And let's get ready to have some fun."
The drones grumbled but complied, unaware of a drone that wasn't in the room was watching as well.
"[Sigh] I hope this works." She said to herself, before huffing in frustration.
