Chapter 1: The wish and an inescapable cave.

Chapter Text

"Universe seven has won the tournament of power! Now, Son Goku - the last participant left on the battlefield, can have his one wish granted with the super dragon balls." The Grand Priest announced, after Goku managed to kick Jiren off the field thanks to his Ultra Instinct.

"Hey goku! Maybe you should wish for us to be rich! That way Goten can finish college and we can live happily for the rest of our lives!" Chichi said to Goku, that was looking into Super Shenron's eyes.

"No Chichi, I know what i will wish for." Goku said calmly, still behaving the way he does in Ultra Instinct.

"You do? What then? Being the strongest in the world? Mastering this ultra instinct thing without problems? Chichi asked curiously.

"I want to travel to another world." Goku replied. "This tournament proved, that this world doesn't hold many challenges for me anymore. I want to become even stronger, and I have the perfect opportunity here. Sorry Chichi, but I will be back even stronger and then we can live happily forever." Goku explained his reasons.

"What? No Goku! I have been a widow for seven years already! You have Goten to raise! I don't want to be a single mother again! Don't you try to leave me again Goku!" Chichi yelled. She was sad, and it expressed itself in fury.

"You're going into another world, Kakarot? And who am I going to train with?" Vegeta asked in a cold tone. He didn't want to be seen as caring, but couldn't let his rival and training partner go who knows where.

"Yes Vegeta. I made my decision." Goku replied. "Grand Priest, can you make the wish for me now?" Goku looked into the angel's direction.

"Very well" The angel replied. "Ukugonso O Notsube Ikase Ni Rosesaōdi" The Grand Priest said to the dragon.

"Igane Wa Tareraenaka" The dragon replied, its eyes glowing yellow as it disappeared.

And so did Goku.

GOKU!!!! Chichi screamed. She couldn't believe her husband could just... Leave like that.

"He'll be back mom." Gohan flew to her trying to comfort her and himself. "Just like he always is"

"I just can't stand it anymore! I want us to be a happy family! Am I asking too much?" Chichi cried into her son's shoulder.

"You're not mom. But there's nothing you can do now. Just focus on raising Goten as good as you can, okay? Gohan comforted her.

"I will Gohan. I will. Can I... Ask you a favor Gohan?"

"Of course, mom." Gohan replied, not sure what she could want him to do.

"Could you tell Goten? I don't think I'll be able to." Chichi asked.

"I-I suppose I can." Gohan agreed hesitantly. But he knew his mother would be too devastated to.

"Thank you, Gohan. I don't know what I would do without you." Chichi smiled at her son.

Goku was suddenly falling into some kind of cave. He was too shocked to react in time, and hit the ground.

"Ow, my butt" He groaned after the fall. "Well, I don't think I will find someone strong in a cave, gotta get back to the surface."

So he flew up. But something blocked him from going back. Like some kind of invisible wall, like a... Barrier?

"Huh, seems I can't get out through here. Well i suppose I can only go explore the cave for now." He said to himself flying back down, walking through a room with nothing but some dirt in the middle. Suddenly a flower came out of it. It seemed to... Have a face?

"Uhh who are you?" Goku asked the flower that appeared from the ground.

"Howdy! Im Flowey! Flowey the flower! The flower smiled at him. "You must be new here, huh? The flower asked him.

"That's a funny name!" Goku laughed. "Anyways, yeah I'm.. not sure how I got here, and I don't really know what's going on so... Could you tell me how to get back up?" Goku asked the flower.

"Well sure, buddy! But I didn't seem to catch your name!" Flowey said, still smiling.

"Oh right, sorry! My name is Goku." He replied.

"Goku huh? Hope you won't be Goku the goner, haha!" Flowey laughed.

"Yeah, going back to the dead would be bad." Goku said.

"Back to the dead?" Flowey thought to himself. "That's interesting."

"Well anyways buddy, you're in the underground. The home of monsters! Some of them may want to attack you and try to kill you but that's where I come in handy! I can save your progress and you can come back if you die! If you see a golden star, touch it and it will all be saved!" Flowey said with a wide smile.

"Save my progress? You can like... Go back in time? Isn't it breaking the laws of gods?" Goku asked.

"Not as far as I am aware of!" Flowey winked.

"Okay, if you say so. Thanks Flowey. Do you know where i should go?" He asked.

"Just go straight, until you meet a goat lady. She will get you through the ruins in no time!"

"Okay, thanks Flowey!"

"No problem, that's what friends are for, aren't they?" He winked and went back to earth.

"Alright, time to go." Goku said to himself. Before he could go however, a figure stood before him.

"Hello, did you-" Her face went pale for a second. It cant be.. They're alive? I thought asgore... No.. It's a concidence. It must be.
"..fall here..?" The women asked. It's the goat lady Flowey was talking about!

"Uhh I guess you could say that" Goku answered nervously.

"Don't worry, I'll lead you through the ruins." the goat lady said. "Go after me, alright?"

"Sure!" Goku replied.

As they were going through the ruins, they started little small talk with each other.

"So what is your name, mysterious women?" Goku asked.

"It's Toriel. And what is yours, crazy haired human?"

"It's Goku." He replied. "So uh, what planet is it?" He asked.

"Huh? She stopped. It's the planet earth? I think that is what humans call it. You found a way to go on other planets?" She asked curiously.

"Uhh yeah!" He answered. Long time ago actually! At least I think it was a long time ago. I don't really know when"

"Wow, I can only imagine how much you can see on other planets." She started imagining all the beautiful sights there were.

"Yeah, there is quite a lot to see!" He said smiling. "So, do you know how to get out of this cave?" He asked.

"I... Don't think you should." She replied, seeming little scared by the question.

"Huh, why?"

"I'm sorry but, Asgore will kill you. Like he did with all the others. He needs only one more soul. And then a war with humanity will start. Trust me, you don't stand a chance against him."

"The others? Have there been other humans falling? Also why do i stand no chance against him? Is he a strong warrior? Not to brag, but I'm a really strong fighter too!" Goku was happy that there was someone strong he could fight with.

"Yes. He is strong. Please, don't go outside. I don't want another one to die. I don't want war. Please Goku."

"Well I have to go back! I have Chichi and Goten waiting for me!" He tried to reason with the goat.

"And who are those two?" She asked, trying to slowly change the topic.

"Oh, right you don't know. Chichi is my wife, and Goten is my younger son!" He replied with a smile on his face. "I can't leave them be can I? That's why I want to come back.

"You have a child?" Toriel's eyes widened. So it really isn't the child that fell down here before. It's the father of the child, that probably came to see if his son is still here...

"Yeah! Two actually! Gohan is already an adult, and Goten is Seven! Gohan even has a kid of his own!" Goku replied, with a smile appearing on his face, thinking about his family.

"I... I see. I... Suppose I can't stop you. Do you at least want to try my pie, before you go?" She asked. She understood his desire to go back. She would never leave their children, if they were alive. But why does he speak of his child like he's still with him on the surface? Did his son manage to escape the underground? It's impossible, Asgore stated that he has collected yet another soul back then...

"Well sure! Can't say no to food!" He answered excitedly. He LOVED eating.

"Okay, my house is right here! She said, inviting the saiyan to her house. Goku saw a golden star on the ground. He touched it, and felt like he had skipped a heartbeat, similar to when Hit stopped time for a moment. He shrugged the thoughts off, and went into the house after the goat.

"Let me get you a slice." She turned left, probably into the kitchen. "You can sit here at the table!" She invited him to sit down on one of the chairs.

"Alright!" He said. He sat down, and she placed a  plate with the pie before him. He immediately devoured it.

"Wow, you must be hungry!" Her eyes widened.

"Well, there's always room for some pie!" He smiled.

"Do you want another slice?" She asked.

"Even a few, if I can."

"Will do!" She went to the kitchen with his plate, coming back with four slices of pie on it.

"Here! Hope you enjoy!" She smiled and sat down, slowly starting to eat her slice.

After they both finished the pie, it was time for Goku to leave. He stood up and asked her:

"So where is the exit?"

"Downstairs are the door. They are locked however, and I dont have a key. You would have to tear through them. I can go down and help you, if you want. However, you have to go through the entire underground in order to leave.

"That's no problem, it's not my first adventure!" He replied, going downstairs with her.

"Those are the doors." She said. "If you want to leave, it's your only way out. They are really strong however, so i don't know if you'll be able to break them."

"It doesn't hurt to try does it?" He smirked. He focused energy in his hand and threw a ki blast at the door. They saw an explosion and the doors were destroyed.

"W-what was that?" She asked, her eyes wide, expression of pure shock.

"Oh, that was a ki blast! I just focused my energy and threw it at the door! Seemed strong enough!" He smiled at her.

"I... Didn't think you'd be able to get through them. But... It seems nothing can stop you. Goodbye, Goku. It was nice to meet you. I hope I can see you again." She smiled and hugged him.

"It was nice to meet you too, Toriel! Maybe I will visit later and tell you how my journey is going!" He waved goodbye.

"I hope you do." She smiled, her eyes looked like made of glass.

"Goodbye!"

"Goodbye, Goku."

And so he went through the door.

There was a long corridor, and another door. Those didn't seem to be closed, so he pushed them open, and went through them.

First thing he felt was... Cold. Really Cold. Then he saw snow. Where was he? It was warm before and now it's suddenly cold! And how is there snow in a cave?! Well, he didn't have time to think about it, it was time to go.

And so he started walking on the only path there was. As he was walking, he felt like he was watched. However, he couldn't sense any ki, so he shrugged it off. However, as soon as he wanted to take a step onto a weird, short bridge, someone spoke behind him.

"Human. Don't you know how to greet a new pal? Turn around, and shake my hand."

Goku turned his back and saw a skeleton in a blue coat, shorts and pink slippers. He shook his hand quickly, and heard a weird sound.

"hah, the old trick with whoopery cushion. it's ALWAYS funny."  The skeleton laughed at his own joke.

"Hahaha! You got me good!" Goku laughed. "I'm Goku, and you?"

"the name's sans. sans the skeleton. i'm supposed to be on a hunt for humans, but i don't feel like it. my brother Papyrus however, is a human hunting MANIAC. don't worry, the worst he will do is catch you. he has never met a human before, so I would be happy if you entertained him for a while." The skeleton seemed to be laughing while talking.

"Wow, is he any strong? Can I fight him? I would love to put up some good fight!" Goku started getting excited.

"sorry man, but he's not the type to fight. don't get me wrong, he is pretty strong, but he has no intent to fight for real." Sans cut off Goku's excitement.

"Oh that's unfortunate. Do you know anyone strong down here? At least a training buddy or something?" Goku still hoped there was ANYONE here willing to put up a good fight.

"hmm, let me think. Papyrus has a friend in the royal guard. think her name's martlet. she doesn't seem like the most powerful really, but she definitely knows someone strong. you could go and ask her or something." The skeleton proposed.

"Alright, I thought I would die from boredom here! Maybe you can introduce me to your brother, and I will ask him about that friend of his!"

"well aren't you an impatient one, huh? The skeleton laughed. Or did he? He seemed to be laughing all the time.

"Yea, I hear that a lot" Goku chuckled.

"well, then let's get going"

"After you!"

"sorry i'm still on the whole hunting duty. don't worry, i'll take a shortcut later and catch up to you."

"Sure! See ya!" Goku waved and started going further. After going through a room with a conveniently shaped lamp, he saw a room with a box and... A golden star! He quickly went to touch and Flowey emerged from it.

"Howdy, buddy! So how is your journey going? Looking for someone strong i suppose?" The flower smiled at him, like always.

"Yeah, I am. This guard girl may know someone so I have to go to her. Why do you ask?"

"Well I may have a proposition for you!" The flower smirked.

"Oh? And what is it?"

"Well, the king is the strongest guy here in the underground. I can take you to him so you can fight him. But in return, I want you not to say a word that you have met me, okay buddy?" The flower gave him a proposition.

"Sure! But uhh, why do you insist on being hidden?" Goku grew curious.

"Oh I'm just a little... Shy you know?" The flower put an embarrassed smile on his face. Or... he tried. It looked more like he ate something sour and started laughing.

"Well that's no problem! I won't say a word about you!" Goku agreed to the flower's deal.

"Well good! Now lets get ya saved!" The flower winked. Goku, once again felt like he skipped a milisecond. Then, Flowey went back into the ground.

"Hmm, wonder where I should go. What's up here? Goku went left from the star. "Oh, a fishing rod! I wonder if I would catch something here. But not now, it's time to find someone to fight."

As he was walking, suddenly a monster got into his way. It was a... Bird? Something like that. Some monsters looked weird. The monster started throwing some kind of ice attacks at the saiyan.

"Huh, you got some chilly attacks here!" Goku laughed.

"Hey, I'm the one throwing jokes here!" The monster yelled. Goku raised an eyebrow, but decided to go with it. "Well, then throw me one!" He smiled at the monster. "Alright! It's 'ice that you asked!" The monster seemed to wait for the saiyan's reaction. "Ha, that wasn't bad! Bet you could make more people laugh if you keep up with making jokes!" The saiyan encouraged the monster. "You really think so? The monster's eyes lightened up. "Yeah, i do! Just train harded and you'll get it!" The bird smiled at the saiyan. "Thank you! I won't let you down, I'll be the funniest monster in the underground before you know it!"

"Looking forward to it!" Goku said and waved at the monster going. forward. "See you later, comedian!"

"See you, Human!" The monster replied.

As Goku was walking further he saw two figures standing next to some kind of puzzle. He looked closer and saw one of them is a skeleton. "It must be Papyrus!" He smiled and started running towards the monsters. "Hello! Sorry to bother you, but are you Papyrus?" The skeleton turned around. "WOWIE! I'M POPULAR! YES, I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS! AND YOU... WAIT, ARE YOU A HUMAN?!" The skeleton widened his eyes. At least that's what goku thought he did, it was hard to read, with Papyrus having no eyes. At least none that goku saw. As the blue feathered monster heard the word "human", she instantly turned around. "A human?!" She looked at the saiyan. Wow, I've never saw a human so tall! I mean, I only saw one in my entire life and they were a child, but still, you're pretty tall. Wait, you ARE a human right? It would be weird if i started getting so excited and it turned out you weren't a human!" The bird seemed to say her every thought out loud.

Goku seemed a little overwhelmed by the monsters excitement of his human appearance "Uhh, you could say that? Uhh anyways-" He didn't have the chance to finish his sentence.

"I knew it! Now I can finally capture a human and become a royal guardsman!" So that's what Sans meant when he said the worst Papyrus can do is catch him. "Wait Papyrus, I'm the royal guard here! I can't let YOU capture him! That's MY job!! The bird yelled. Or was it her way of speaking? "You're a royal guard? Martlet, right?" Goku grew excited.

"You know me too? Were you living in hiding or something?" The bird seemed puzzled by the saiyan's knowledge. "No, I'm new here. But Sans told me about you two! He said you may know someone strong!" Goku said.

"Uhh why do you want to meet someone strong?" The bird seemed even more puzzled.

"Well to fight them of course!" The saiyan answered excitedly.

"W-wha FIGHT? No no no that won't be necessary! We can just... Talk! We don't have to fight!" The bird started getting nervous.

"Oh come on! It will be fun!" Goku tried to convince the bird that fighting wasn't anything bad.

"I.. Uhh.. I-I can't let you fight anyone! So by Royal Guard protocol I've got to apprehend you!" She quickly thought of something to discard his idea of fighting monsters.

"What? Why? I didn't even fight anyone yet! Come on, I just want to have a little training session at least! It's not anything bad!"

"I still have to apprehend you, since you're a human. Sorry but uhh, that's the protocol! So now uhh... You gotta go with me!" She couldn't care less about the protocol, but she had to get the human away from fighting! Monster magic can hurt them!

"Uhh.. Do you only apprehend humans?" Goku asked her.

"Uhh yeah. Those are the rules. Humans are to be apprehended."

"So only humans count, right?" He asked the guardsman.

"Uhhh I guess?" She replied, unsure of what he was trying to imply.

"Well I'm technically not human. Well not technically not human, I'm 100% saiyan blood! It's a little different! Do you have a protocol on saiyans? Cause I don't want to be apprehended!" He tried to convince the guard not to capture him.

"Uhh a what?" She asked, confused. "Doesn't matter, you can tell me more on our way! I'm getting you apprehended human! You're going to lower snowdin with me!" She tried to sound intimidating, but sounded more stressed than anything.

"Oh damn, i was hoping it would work. Well, bye Papyrus it was nice meeting you!" He waved at the skeleton.

"OF COURSE HUMAN, IT WAS NICE MEETING YOU TOO! LET'S SEE EACH OTHER SOON, OKAY?" The skeleton waved back.

"Sure! Now, uhh where do we go to lower snowdin?" The saiyan asked the bird monster.

"I'm uhhh actually not sure. I usually just fly so I don't know how to get there by foot. But we'll figure something out!"

"That's no problem, I can fly with ya!" The saiyan smiled wide.

"I don't think I'll be able to carry you that far.." She replied, letting out a nervous chuckle.

"Huh? No, I can fly by myself!" He corrected what he meant.

"What do you mean by yourse- WHAAAAAAAT." She yelled as she saw the saiyan levitating in the air.

"See! I can fly by myself! You just have to guide me!" He smiled, not knowing how shocking it was to the bird.

"Uhhh, we're gonna have a long talk when we get there..." She said with open beak. "L-let's just get off.." She said, and shoot into the air, the saiyan flying beside her.

Chapter 2: Worlds colliding

Summary:

Martlet asks Goku lots of questions, and gets answers even more bizarre than she expected. Flowey does his things.

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

After they landed near Martlet's post in lower snowdin, Martlet decided her questions can't wait any longer. "So, you can fly? And you're not human? And you want to fight monsters? And-"

"Wow wow wow birdy, one question at a time I can't answer everything at once!" Goku calmed down her temper.

"Okay, okay. So, maybe I should start from this, you are NOT a human?" She didn't knew how much she believed him, but the fact he could fly made it somewhat believable. "Nope! 100% Saiyan! However, I grew up with humans on earth! I don't know much about my parents, but I know that they sent me to earth and that my grandpa has found me and raised me, until he died." Goku told her everything he thought he needed to tell for her to understand.

"Holdonholdonholdonholdon sent to earth? Are you a space human? I knew they exist!!!" Martlet was proud of herself that she was right that space humans exist while talking with Clover.

"I... guess you could say that?" Goku didn't knew how to answer this question. Was this a question?

"So... What are differences between you and a human? Except the fact you can fly?"

"Humans can fly too if they train! My buddy Krillin is a living proof!" He argued.

"What." She was absolutely flabbergasted. Clover shooting things from his soul seems pretty normal comparing to this guy. Wait when did Clover shoot things from his soul? She remembers something like that. How can she remember something that never happened?

"Yea! But uhh, talking about differences, we Saiyans have a tail! Well we should, mine got cut off and doesn't grow back because I'm an adult... But there's one more thing! We can turn super saiyan! I think that's enough of a difference!"

"Turn what now?" She didn't even try to comprehend what she heard.

"Super saiyan! Look!" He closed his eyes and a yellow aura appeared around him. Then his hair rose, and turn golden color.

"See! That's a super saiyan! Do you believe me now?" He wanted to leave at least one question answered.

Whatwhatwhatwhatwhatwhatwhatwhat

"Uhh I guess?"

"Alright! Now shoot me with the next question!" Goku exhaled and his hair went back to normal.

"Uhhh okay... Why do you want to fight so much?"

"Oh easy! Im a fighter! I love to fight, you know? Not to brag, but I was only 18 when I won the world's martial arts tournament!" He decided not to talk about the multiversal tournament of power, that was literally the sole reason he was talking with her now, he wasn't sure if monsters were even aware of other universes.

"So... You don't want to kill anyone?"

"No? Why would I?"

"Uhhh no reason no reason. So, you can fly? But you don't have wings or anything you just... Levitate? How?????"

"Well I just use my ki to move my body! I guess you don't know much about ki, but that's no problem, a lot of people don"t know anything about it, but I gotta tell you, you're missing out!"

"You use your what?"

"My ki. You know, your energy? Anything rings a bell?"

"Uhh, you mean your magic?"

"Magic? No, there are a few people I know that can use magic, and they aren't the greatest."

"You're confusing me more with every word." Martlet sighed, defeated.

"Hey, you're no better! You said you're apprehending me and we just stand in the cold with you asking me questions!"

"Fair point actually. It is probably pretty cold for you, cause you don't have.. you know, feathers or fur or anything."

"So you're taking me to a cell or something? Oh about cells! Maybe he's here somewhere! Ever heard of someone named Cell living here?"

"Uhhh no I didn't. I don't know much about the humans that fell before.."

"Oh he's not a human! He's green, he has wings, and this weird helmet or something on his head!"

Whatwhatwhat "Uhhh, never seen him! ANYWAYS, I'm taking you somewhere warmer whether you like it or not!"

"Oh come on, can you please not lock me in a cell or something?" Goku groaned.

"I don't want to lock you anywhere! We're going to... Uhhh... We can go to my house!"

"You guys lock people in your own houses? That's, uhhh interesting way to lock someone up." Goku chuckled.

"I'm not locking you in my house I'm inviting you over!" Martlet sighed.

"But you just said-"

"Well now I'm inviting you over! Come here before you freeze to the ground." Martlet interrupted his confused rambling.

"Oh, okay!" Goku obliged and started walking with the bird towards her house.

"Here we are!" She exclaimed, while proudly looking at her and Chujin's creation that she was living in.

"Hey, you've got a pretty big house. Are you living with any family?" Goku asked.

"No... I'm living all by myself." Her tone was a little sad. She reminded herself that Clover gave up his soul instead of living with her. Was what he did truly necessary?

"Hey so..." Goku snapped her out of her thoughts. "Sans said that you may know some strong guys, can you introduce me to someone?" Goku asked her.

"Umm... I don't think it's a good idea." Martlet looked to the side.

"Oh come on, why does everyone tell me that?" Goku groaned.

"The strong monsters I know are gonna kill you. We are only one soul away from freedom."

"What are you talking about? I can handle them, I'm pretty strong! Besides, what do you mean one soul from freedom?" Goku was confused.

"You don't know anything, do you?" She asked.

"About what?"

"About us being trapped here."

"Trapped? Can't you just leave the ca-" It hit him. The barrier that made him unable to return before - they can't pass it too. "Hold on. Does it have something to do with some force that makes you unable to pass through?"

"That's exactly it. So you do know about why we are here."

"Not at all actually. But, when i dropped here - I wanted go go back because there aren't gonna be anyone in a cave, right? But I couldn't leave, there was like an invisible wall that made me unable to pass it." Goku explained where his knowledge came from. "But what does it have to do with souls?"

"Well... Long ago, we monsters lived in the surface with humans. Then, there was a war and we got trapped here, now we need the power of seven human souls to destroy the barrier. We collected six souls, we only need one more to go back to the surface." Martlet told Goku the tale that she heard thousands of times. He was the last soul they needed. She can't let another soul be collected. Not again.

"The power of seven human souls?" Goku asked. "That reminds me of something. Two things actually."

"What are those things?" Martlet asked, curious.

"Well, first of them is something that I learnt about when I was a kid and got to use it couple of times. It was actually the reason I went on all my adventures. It's the dragon balls. There are seven scattered across the earth, and if you collect all seven of them, you can summon a dragon that will grant you any wish you ask." Goku said.

"Seven dragon balls? Any wish?" Martlet felt like her brain turned off and on again. "ARE YOU SAYING THAT WE NEVER NEEDED ANY SOULS, JUST SOME BALLS?!" She yelled. So Clover's sacrifice was meaningless? They could just collect seven orbs and grant themselves a wish to break the barrier?

"The dragon balls are scattered across all the earth, so you wouldn't be able to find all of them down here. But a power of multiple souls being able to break the limits reminds me of something else. Do you know anything about the power of the souls?"

"Uhh.. I have no idea how they work to be honest. They just have power that can break the barrier if there's a lot of it and apparently only human souls work."

"It really is similar.. Martlet, I think I have a way to break this barrier." Goku smiled widely.

"What? How?!" Martlet's eyes went wide. This has to be a dream. A flying space human that knows how to break the barrier? She probably has a fever too, she just doesn't feel it because she's asleep..

"As I told you before I am a saiyan, not a human. When someone strong came to earth, we learnt that if five pure hearted saiyans will give their energy to another pure hearted saiyan they can create a Super Saiyan God." Goku explained the ritual that once helped him fight Beerus.

"I don't know if you saw, but we don't have any other saiyans here. You won't be able to do it, Goku." Martlet looked at him and sighed. "Besides, even after every weird thing you did, there's no way you can just create a god."

"I forgot to add something. I was the one who became the Super Saiyan God first, and I can tap into this power at will now."

"Wha- Y-Youre a god..?" Martlet took a step back. This goofy guy with some unexplainable powers is a god? She has to be dreaming. But it's all real. She can feel the warm atmosphere in her house, she can feel the slight pain caused by stepping on a splinter. It's real.

"Prove it." She demanded. He's playing with her, a god wouldn't just appear from nowhere.

"Uhh... Okay.." Goku closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Then, a dark red aura surrounded him, and his hair started changing its color. When he opened his eyes, the aura disappeared and his hair turned red. "Here it is. The super saiyan god." Goku announced.

Martlet was utterly shocked. She felt some kind of pressure, really strong pressure. Is it what standing next to a god feels like? It sure is incredible. If that power is really god-like, then the barrier is gonna break with no problems whatsoever. There's only one more thing...

"Hey, I have a question about those dragon orbs you were talking about earlier."

"The dragon balls? Sure, what's bothering you?" Goku turned back into his base form.

"Can you wish to... Bring someone back to life?" She asked him. Actually why did she bother asking? Of course they can't, death is not something you can just undo.

"Of course! I was revived by dragon balls myself once." Goku smiled at her. "Did you lost someone close to you?" He asked her.

Magical balls bringing people back to life? She felt like she is gonna pass out from all this information. "You.. Died before?" She asked, ignoring his question.

"Yeah. 2 times actually."

I have so many questions.. "Can I ask.. How you died?"

"The first time, I was fighting my brother with one of my friends. He wasn't my friend back then, but we teamed up to win. My brother was much stronger than us at the time, so I held him while my ally charged up an attack killing us both. The second time, we were fighting a powerful villain, and he threatened to explode himself with the planet. I teleported him and myself to another planet and... Well it didn't end up so well for me. But I knew that it would happen, so the blame is on me! But uhh... I don't really blame myself or anything..." Goku said this pretty casually especially considering he was talking about his own death.

"That's... Pretty.... Uhh... Heroic.." Martlet didn't know what to say. "Hey.. You said that you teleported... And that some guy could blow up your entire planet and you still fought him... And you're super something god.. How strong are you, Goku?"

"Pretty strong! I can't exactly tell you because I don't know how this world works but.. Judging by the ki I feel from you I'm pretty strong by comparison."

"Well our world works probably the same as yours, we monsters aren't much different from you humans." Martlet tried to get a better answer from him.

"That's not what I meant, but uhh, I guess I can't tell you much about it. Do you have something to eat? Im starving!" Goku asked her dismissing the question.

"I can try to find something." She walked towards her kitchen and looked in the fridge. "Uhh I only have some frozen pizza. Is it alright?"

"Sure!" Goku smiled. His smile was the most genuine she ever saw, he looked almost as innocent as Clover.

"Hey, so you technically locked me up here and I just wanna ask, can I leave after the food? I want to see some strong monsters and also destroying this barrier would probably help you." Goku liked this house, but he has an adventure to go to.

"I.. Guess you can go. Not like I can stop you, if you want to talk to the king about breaking the barrier and explain everything to him, then just go east, and then a little north until you get to a place full of lava. From there, you go east again until you see the castle. Shouldn't be a problem considering you can fly."

"Thanks for the instructions! I'll try to follow, though I usually get lost because of forgetting the directions halfway through... But hey, what's life without a little adventure?" Goku chuckled.

"You are so careless, it's the complete opposite of me." Martlet said while putting the pizza in the oven.

"That's just who I am, you know? Besides, what's wrong with being careless?"

"You know, not too long ago I would agree with you. But because of my carelessness, and not thinking about consequences, I lost a friend of mine. After that I promised myself two things - never do something without thinking, and never let a human die again. It's for their legacy."

"Hey, I know how it is. You just have to know when to get serious. I've let a lot of bad things happen, and fixing them wasn't always easy. But in the end - it all ended up good. You can't be serious about everything, you're gonna go crazy!" Goku encouraged his new friend.

"Maybe... I just wish that I could do something then, you know? I made a fatal mistake, if we went to snowdin instead of the capital.. They would still be here." Martlet looked at the floor with tears starting to form in her eyes.

"Hey. We all make mistakes. Trust me, I have made mistakes bigger than you can imagine. I'm gonna help you repair them, okay? Your friend... I'll help you revive them with the dragon balls. I don't know how long I'm gonna be here, but I'll try to help you look for them on the surface.

"I... Thank you, Goku. Honestly, I don't really know how much I believe that the barrier can be shattered, but thank you with my whole soul. I don't know how I'll ever be able to repay you." Martlet put up a hopeful smile.

"Oh just give me some food and I'll be happy!" Goku chuckled, though he was fully serious.

"Everything is set up. Soon, all the guards are gonna be here and Goku will have a straight way to the castle. Golly, I'm a genius! How did I never thought of this with Clover? Whatever, this new human seems pretty good, flying and exploding things with no tools? Ha, that's gonna be interesting! Where did he go... Oh, right he went with the birdbrain. Wonder what they talked about? Eh, it's the birdbrain, probably nothing worth of my note." Flowey went into the ground of the true lab, and then to Snowdin. What's gonna happen next is just a distraction from the fallen human. Whatever happens - Flowey doesn't care - the souls are his goal, determination isn't a problem for him. No shame in using a little, right?

Notes:

This chapter was written at the same time as the first one, however it needed some improvement, so I gave myself a few days to make some changes, as it starts many things for the future chapters. I hope you enjoyed, and that it wasn't as corny as I think it is. See you next time!

Notes:

I had the idea for this crossover for a while now, so why not try? I have a few ideas for what I want to implement later, but you will just have to wait.
