In short: It's an alternate timeline of Babitim. Similar to "Dark Holly," it's an alternate timeline where the Queters fail to defeat Mayhem, and things get worse for them and the world in general. It's a future that could happen if certain actions, decisions, and events occurred (or didn't). The time gap between that future and the present (Inky Mystery) is a mystery that remains unsolved. (Yax Warner's character holds the key to certain mysteries of time, but he would never reveal clues about something so sensitive without paying a price for that information.)
