Chapter Text
Itrapped withdrew the blood-soaked blade out of the gambler’s heart. His eyes narrowed as he looked down upon the person who had considered him a trusted friend. "You are to naive and trusting, Chance. You truly are nothing but a pathetic sorry excuse of a casino owner." Itrapped grumbled, an icy tone leaving his mouth. However..chance just weakly smiled as stream of blood went down his chin, escaping his mouth. Itrapped snarled at the sight of such positive emotions to light up the dark scene of violence, "You have no right to smile, Chance. You truly don’t." A chuckle escaped from the grey hair's mouth, "Oh, Itrapped. I don’t know why you have done this to me. But for whatever reason, I’m sure it was a good one..for you’ll still be my best friend to me." As on queue, chance coughed out some clotted blood, causing a smirk to form on the sword-handler’s face. "Just as I thought. You’re too pathetic. You can’t even stand up for yourself, can’t you? Give up, Chance. You have no more worth for living." The yellow-haired man retorted, his voice was harsh, as if all his pent up rage was being released. As if he was finally losing the facade he had held for years. Chance took notice of this, taking it as a time to speak his last words, "Dearest friend of mine..I can defend myself, I just prefer not to when it’s you. You’ve filled me with joy over the years..and I knew there was a time where you’d drop the facade and end it all..but I let you pretend to feed my delusions.." A frown of anger formed on Isaac’s face, "Foolish of you. Why did you let me pretend? If you did know, you wouldn’t have." Chance then genuinely smiled for the last time, "Because I love you, Itrapped. I did." Itrapped eyes widened before he returned back to his stoic face, stabbing Chance again, brutally in the tongue before the heart. "You speak nothing but lies, the price has been paid. I hope you suffer in the after life, Chance."
"I love you..Itrapped…"
The gambler truly was in a game of luck in this life, and it seemed he had failed. For his friendship was merely a game to the man with the ice crown, his dearest companion, the one he always wrote letters of excitement to, Itrapped.
"Your words will not make me drown in guilt, nor regret. You die with such delusions," Itrapped muttered whilst taking a bite of a lung before rearranging the rest of the man’s organs.
Chapter 2: Mixups of Red Wine
Chapter Text
It was the evening of a banquet when many nobles had noticed the absence of the son of a wealthy lord, Chance. He was known to be a lout due to his gambling habits yet his appearance in luxurious events like these was important, many nobles were gossiping and whispering in hushed, judgemental tones, "Where’s the lout, shouldn’t he be here? Especially if Itrapped is here, they’re practically conjoined to the hip, no?" everyone one of them asked to eachother. That was when the emperor had called to start the feast, granting nobles the pleasure of sitting down at tables and starting to feast upon the food made by the Palace Chefs. It seemed delicious snd ravishing but as soon as Itrapped was about to start cutting into the meat, The Emperor had stood up, starting his speech, "Now, a toast, to everyone here and to Itrapped for granting us enough wine for all us of high status and privileg-" The yellow haired man cut him off, getting some annoyed glances across the room, "Your imperial majesty, forgive me for interrupting, i appreciate and value such motivational words coming from the great and mighty imperial ruler, but I believe I must have the honour of making the toast this time, hm?” The imperial ruler took a moment of consideration before deciding to nod. Itrapped glanced around all the nobles drinking the red wine before he stood up, holding his glass up, "To the imperial majesty and all people of noble superiority, a toast. we come here today to celebrate with the emperor, the one who brings this empire joy and laughter. To thank this day and him, I have brought wine for all to sip of, for the blood we have shed shall be enjoyed and praised,"
All of a sudden, Itrapped threw a blood-dripping head onto the table, a sinister smile crossing his lips as many other nobles gasped and spat the wine out in disgust, he merely chuckled and placed his empty glass back onto the table. Mortified expressions everywhere, tension was in the air.
"You have your answer to your gossiping queries, ladies and gentlemen."
