Chapter Text
Being Beverly Marsh's Girlfriend:
• You're protecting her from her father.
• He hates you, so you are an unwelcome guest in their house.
• He doesn't know that you and Beverly are together, otherwise she would have had a worse time.
• Beverly feels safe with you.
• When she gets really unbearable, she runs to you.
• Your parents don't know much about her situation at home, but they are always happy to welcome her and she often spends the night with you.
• She is very affectionate and tenacious.
• Your relationship is full of tenderness: small, lazy kisses, tight hugs, as if someone is trying to separate you, you stroke her hair to calm both yourself and her.
• You are part of the Losers Club and you maintain good relations with all the guys.
• You and Beverly almost always hold hands. She needs it, and you don't mind.
• When you run into IT, you're the one who helps her clean the bathroom after meeting Pennywise.
• After the events with her father, she moves in with you and you are always together. When she breaks down, you're always there to calm her down and support her.
• One day, Beverly confesses that she feels like you're the only thing keeping her afloat and keeping a clear head through this whole nightmare.
• When you're old enough, you leave Derry, hoping to forget the whole nightmare. You get married in a few years and even go to therapy.
• You support Beverly's career as a fashion designer.
• And she, in turn, loves you and your writing skills.
• But when, twenty-seven years later, IT returns to Derry again… This impetuous clown had to be stopped, once and for all, so you all come back after Mike's call.
• Beverly was really happy to see her friends, and so were you. However, all your joy has been overshadowed by the news of Stanley's death.
• You do everything you can to make her feel comfortable, but her hometown brings back different memories, and most of them are unpleasant.
• When you encounter IT again... it's like going back to your worst nightmares. Except that now that you're adults, there are more of them. You've lost Beverly over and over in your nightmares. And it definitely wasn't an experience you wanted to relive over and over again.
• But Beverly, the real Beverly, gets you out of it.
• And you, in turn, pull her out of her own nightmares. As always.
• You will do whatever it takes to ensure each other's safety. This is your biggest weakness, but at the same time your greatest strength.
• That's why you stick together. You go through all this together, supporting and leaning on each other.
• When IT dies, you return to your city, but at the same time keep in touch with your friends. You don't even know who informed Eddie's wife of his death, but neither you nor Beverly want to take it on themselves.
• But you can finally exhale. Really exhale, rather than waiting for IT to come back in another twenty-seven years. And finally forget about this creature, as if it were a terrible dream.
• When you return home, everything feels right and wrong at the same time. Of course, it's much easier to live your life knowing that all your friends are alive and safe, but alas…
• You both plunge into your work, trying to numb the pain, but in the end you realize that this is something that you need to work on, not bury deep in your souls. Therefore, your therapy from that moment on includes this case too.
• But you know that sooner or later you will get over it. Perhaps the nightmares will become more faded or stop altogether. Maybe you and Beverly will stop sleeping it off screaming, seeing Eddie's death in your dreams. But you're in this together and you can lean on each other, and that's the most important thing.
• In her free time, Beverly texts you.
• You go to every fashion show of Beverly, and she, in turn, to the presentation of your books.
• You are very attached to each other and it is clear to absolutely everyone around you.
• Beverly is moderately tenacious in public and VERY tenacious when you're alone.
• Even if one of you is busy, the other one will definitely come for a portion of affection and a good night before going to bed.
• You value each other and are quite happy together.
