Underneath the MDC building
A group of scientists was loading up a strange container into the back of an unmarked truck, while the Lead Scientist was standing next to the driver's door where the driver had their window open.
"Make sure this package gets to its location safely, alright." The lead scientist said which made the driver nod its head
"What happens if I don't arrive at the location safely?" The driver asked
"You'd better make sure it does or there will be repercussions in the world." The lead scientist said then they walked away after the loading and the door was closed
"Have a safe trip." The lead scientist said as he waved off the truck as it exited the underground parking and onto the streets of Paris while the scientists watched
"Yeah, that package isn't going to arrive at its location with the amount of akumas that pop up in Paris daily." The lead scientist said as they headed back inside the building
"Let's be glad, we put the cure into the air ducts which ventilate it all over the building so no one will be infected by the virus." Another scientist said as the elevator arrived on their floor which made them get off the elevator and they went to their stations where they went to work
Streets of Paris
The unmarked Truck that was carrying the virus was making its way through heavy traffic in Paris slowly, that was until a speeding car crashed right into the truck breaking the container that was holding the virus which made it leak out as it started to enter people's airways and into the water supply which started to slowly infect the entire city expect for at MDC since they are cured by the virus
After 2 days it spread outside of Paris and out into other regions of France and neighboring countries, then the virus took hold in the infected in Paris turning them, transforming them into zombie-like creatures. The citizens of Paris just thought this was just an ordinary day in Paris, someone gets akumatized they use their power to transform the citizens of Paris so they went about their normal day not knowing that this was not an akumatized villain that was doing this but a virus.
While outside of Paris it was pandemonium as people panicked as they saw zombies chasing after them while in London, cars were catching on fire while others were crashing into other cars or buildings while the police and royal guards used their weapons to stop the walking dead but nothing worked as the zombies continued walking towards them
A month later the virus as spread to North and South America while the virus had reached Africa and the Asian Continent.
Armed civilians would shoot the zombies in the head like they do in movies and TV shows and when they saw the Zombie drop down to the ground dead they smiled but the smile dropped as the zombie raised back up onto its feet as the bullet wound healed and the zombie mutated into a different strain of Zombie. One that was much stronger than its other counterparts. So the armed citizens all retreated so they wouldn't get bitten by the zombie's infection bite.
Over in Paris a haven was built up around the bakery, the school, Agreste Mansion, and the hotel where survivors made a refuge away from the walking dead.
MDC building
Up on the roof enjoying her summer, Marinette was lying on her sun chair sunbathing unaware of the disaster that was happening all over the world and in the city until her assistant arrived on the roof which made Marinette take off her glasses and stare at her
"If it's anything work-related, please put it on my desk and I'll check it after summer." Marinette said as she covered her eyes back up and went back to relaxing in the sun
"We have a massive situation on our hands." Marinette's assistant said which made Marinette sit up
"What sort of situation?" Marinette asked which made her Assistant walk over to the edge of the roof and point out towards the city
"That." Marinette's assistant said which made Marinette hop off her chair and walk over to where her assistant was and when she looked out over the city she saw buildings on fire, loud moaning and groaning all over the city, and gunshots in the distance. Marinette looked at her assistant
"How did this all happen?" Marinette asked
"We don't know, but we do have reports coming in that this is worldwide and the death toll is in the millions." Marinette's assistant said
"Is the building in full lockdown." Marinette said, which made her Assistant nod her head
"Well blow the stairs leading to the first floor and open the foyer up, these zombies are going to be our test subjects with new weaponry we'll be testing and see how well they can take down a zombie." Marinette said
"Are you sure that's wise?" Marinette's assistant asked
"It is, we're going to expand and build a safe haven for the people of Paris, starting from the Eiffel Tower." Marinette said as she looked toward the steel monument.
